Abstract The article highlights some results of scientific work conducted by the Institute of Architecture and Design of Lviv Polytechnic National University, Department of Fine Arts and Design, Ternopil Pedagogical University, Department of Design Architectural Environment Lviv National Agrarian University and Art TheoryVasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.Scientists study the art of temple building on the territory of Ukraine. The analysis was conducted based on reliable sources - archival, publications of leading scientists, their own field research. The method of field inspections included visual inspection of sacred complexes, architectural measurements, photography, sketches, etc. The aim of the scientific work is to study the genesis of the architectural and constructive creation of the sacral dome space through the tradition of Ukrainian shrines and the development of modern trends in temple building. Tradition is one of the most important components and means of creating Ukrainian church architecture. It is an expression of national features and characteristics, its identification. The most canonical type of Ukrainian churches is the cross-domes churches, which is associated with the adoption of Christianity. This tradition is closely connected with the liturgical process and is based on a combination of Eastern and Western building traditions. In figurative and compositional expression, the dome is dominant, and tectonic accent. The architecture of dome temples depends on the capabilities of structures and building materials, which are important factors in the formation process. The authors explore the traditional ways of erecting cross-dome temples on the territory of Ukraine, which are indicative and expressive features of Ukrainian temples. An important group of dome temples are buildings created in the modern period, when architects were looking for signs of Ukrainian national style. Particularly valuable is research related to the construction of neoukrainian traditional and neoteric temples designed by Ukrainian architects. Their planning and spatial decisions directly depend on new construction materials and design solutions. Some temples are described, which are an example of innovation, but at the same time are based on national traditions. Thus, the article examines the genesis of the creation and architecture of the Ukrainian cross-domed temples. Defined peculiarities of the search for national features and identification in the Ukrainian temple building in the interwar period was determined. Highlighted contribution of modern architects and designers to the process of revival of temple building in Ukraine.

Khreschatyk is a page apart in the history of world architecture. While it has a number of distinct characteristics of totalitarian architecture, Khreschatyk is the only architectural ensemble of the period to combine na-tional tradition with the exalted sentiment of Soviet architecture of the Stalin era. Also, it uniquely matched architecture and landscape. The façades has elements of Ukrainian baroque, which sets Khreschatyk apart from similar ensembles of the 1940s-1950s in other countries that mainly drew upon Ne-oclassicism or Modernism. While period architecture in other countries is typically marked by its grand scale and heavily accentuated civic spirit – complete with a denigration of the individual at the expense of the manifest greatness of Authority, Khreschatyk stand out for its pronounced harmony as an environment based on the careful preservation of old heritage, the skill-ful use of the landscape, and the introduction of traditional motifs, alongside an almost total lack of Soviet symbols. Unlike the grim grandness of totali-tarian architecture in other countries, the facades of the residential buildings that line Khreschatyk emanate joie de vivre and admiration for the fertility of Ukrainian soil.

The Ukrainian terminological system of architecture is a definitely organised, historically caused, communicative system of elements which functions, constantly changing internal and external communication at different levels of consistency. The terminological fund of representation of architecture knowledge demands settlement, therefore its research gets a special relevance. The national terminological system of architecture changes and updates constantly, because there are new concepts which are necessary to name, and there are new terms accordingly. Despite it, there is no clearness in formulation of definitions even for key concepts in this area of human activity, the choice of use and systematization of certain terminological units is not always successful, and synonymy of terms is actively used for base standard documents, the scientific special literature, lexicographic editions on architecture. Architecture terminology is a considerable layer of the Ukrainian terminological system with inherent common features for a system (presence of system elements, system signs, the criteria which are inherent for a system) and original Characteristics (specificity of concepts and terms’ relations, the special thematic and structural organisation which is the basis for allocation of architecture terminological system and allocates features of the language system organisation of(word-formation, grammatical, lexical). Elements of architectural terminological system form systems of objective realities, systems of terms, systems of corresponding concepts, systems of definitions of these concepts. When these systems function, they limit architectural terminology. It is very important to understand architectural terminology not simply as the mechanical sum of corresponding terminological units, terms and terminological word combinations, and accurate terminological system which has certain logic communications between its elements, structural components. There is a direct or indirect communication between terms which limits terminological system of architecture. Constant development and increase in quantity of terminological units, quantitative and qualitative changes of terms which unite in terminological system, define limitlessness of modern Ukrainian architecture terminological system. Exploring the practical problems of education terms and problems of architectural terms’ standardization the professional norm is fixed in the special literature (educational, methodical, statutory acts, state standards, scientific articles). Not always dictionaries in standard terminology consider professional terminological norm. The modern Ukrainian terminological fund of architecture makes specific, quantitatively big and qualitatively various layer of terminological lexicon in the typological characteristic of system. Architecture terminology is a component of Ukrainian terminological system with characteristic common features for system both the especial thematic and structural organisation which has differences in the language organisation of system.

The article presents the results of the author's study of the formation of national identity in public spaces by means of landscape architecture. It has been presented that public spaces are separated on democratic and totalitarian by the socio-political factor. The most expressive about the manifestation or change of national identity is the urban environment of important public spaces, that are centers of popular assemblies, demonstrations and other collective events. Based on the theoretical analysis of the development of the Ukrainians, the main aspects of the manifestation of national identity in the public spaces are democracy and sacredness. It means giving democratic features to public spaces and creation memorable places. The key symbol of Ukrainian identification – is vegetation as an image of the infinity of life, the strength of the spirit and love for the Motherland. Additionally, in the article, is analyzed intercultural and instinctive perception of landscape scenes. These features correspond to the deep foundations of human perception of the environment: natural forms; zoning; semi-closed space; the presence of greenery and water. The internal filling of space should be carried out taking into account comfort and safety, but with a bias towards national motives. In particular, we have identified such features of the Ukrainian landscape style as: zoning and monoculture; the presence of a stalls and front gardens; abundant autochthonous gardening; and sacred elements of improvement. The newly created concept of an identical space device should be fixed in a special document - the design code of the buffer zone. The design code should contain detailed characteristics regarding the improvement of the buffer zone. The formation of national identity in the public spaces of buffer zones of cultural heritage monuments will contribute to the implementation of safety and security functions without violating the traditional nature of the historical environment.

The article aims to broaden the theoretical and methodological foundations and scientific substantiation of approaches to improving the efficiency of institutional structure of the budget system Ukraine on the basis of high-quality institutional support for its formation and functioning. This study is based on systemic and evolutionary approaches that provide a comprehensive understanding of the institutional structure of the budget system. The institutional architecture improvement requires identifying various characteristics, direct relations and feedback as well as dependencies that arise in the formation of budget policy of Ukraine. The study deals with appraisal of the degree of perfection of the architecture influence on and institutional order, the budget process and the budget system efficiency. The practical importance is determined by the fact that theoretical and methodological provisions, conclusions and practical recommendations make the scientific basis for developing a new holistic concept of forming the institutional order of the budget system in terms of its decentralization. The analysis shows that the degree of perfection of the architecture and institutional architecture of the budget system significantly affects the efficiency of the budget process. It changes the philosophy of public finance management and creates incentives for dominance in the public choice of the Putnam group (those who care about public needs) rather than Olson (those who think primarily about their own needs). The study has noted some problems of control over the budget funds use depending on the society maturity. Conclusions on the ability of the budget system perfect architecture and institutional order to direct the potential of inclusive markets to welfare improvement, to implement innovations and invest them in people requires the state to consider them critical to economic growth and nation's wealth. The budget system must be organically integrated into the overall system of governance and be fully accountable and transparent in the new institutional order with inclusive economic and political institutions. The level of literary research on the geneological characteristics of the 21st century, marked by the expansion of the traditional genre system, has noticeably intensified. The purpose of the article is to consider the Ukrainian novel in the poems of the 21st century, to determine its genre originality (author’s and reader’s) as an important regulator of aesthetic communication. The object of research is the texts of novels in verse, prefaces to them, comments of authors and critics regarding the creation of texts and genre modification. Ukrainian novel in poems of the 21st c. is characterized by the analysis of narrative structures, a set of ideas, concepts aimed at highlighting the cultural and historical heritage of the past through its multiple reading by the recipient. Emphasis is placed on the author's (textual) and classification (reader’s) mode of their creation, which makes it possible to clarify the historical and theoretical dynamics of textual traditions, the history of writing, is the key to communicative influence on the reader, perception of the paradigm of the genre. The plots of Ukrainian novels in verse are presented in accordance with the principles of the postmodern era with a radical rethinking of aesthetic, spiritual, philosophical foundations of human existence and a new concept of worldview, focused on personal experiences of socio-cultural challenges, mental breakdowns and political crises. The study examines Ukrainian novels in poetry of the 21st century by L. Horlach, A. Hudyma, I. Kozak, V. Marsyuk, R. Pаstuch, I. Pavlyuk, O. Omelchenko, M. Tіutіunnyk und А. Shkulipa, who created the following genre varieties, were considered: historical novel in verse, historical poetry novel, novel-song, novel-meditation in poetry, satirical, grotesque novel in verse, virtual novel, autobiographical novel in poetry, whimsical novel in verse, historical-philosophical-fantasy novel-essay, lyrical novel in verse, novel-trilogy in verse, a lyrical-musical novel in verse. In these novel structures, the past and the present are mutually projected onto the future, spiritually constructing it, forming moral and ethical norms, canons of national consciousness. Thus, emphasizing the genre modification of the modern Ukrainian novel in verse, various examples of its genre varieties, we took into account the author’s and reader’s genre definition, because the structural isolation and semantic definition of the genre are related to the author’s origin, looseness and devotion – with the reader. This does not mean that the creative design of the text is localized in the sphere of the author, and the semantic life after the design belongs to the sphere of the reader. Ukrainian novels in the poems of the 21st century are designed for the real world; they are carriers of aesthetic comprehension of national identity, new landmarks in space human / world with a wide range of significant events, cultural types, internal image-structural and compositional-poetic organization, genre-style and genre-content diversity, which requires further, more thorough research.

Korobochkin's Ekaterinoslav Technical Courses was added to the article, preserved in the author'sarchive, but it was built under the direction of I.M. Truba, according to his project and estimate. Its facade is described. The significance of V.K. Korobochkin’s Ekaterinoslav Technical Courses for the whole of the Dnieper, as the embryoof all technical universities, and later the National University, is given, the advantage of the Courses in this sense isproved. This is documented. In exile, I. M. Truba continues educational and pedagogical activities for the benefit of theMotherland − translates into Ukrainian, highly moral, in the educational sense, fairy tales by European authors, publishes them and sends them to Ukrainian schools. Corresponds with his children to Dnіpropetrovsk, givesinstructions. As an example of his drawing skills, he cites drawings, in 3D-style pencil, of the corners of his homes inexile. Mention is made of his entrance examinations at the Higher School in St. Petersburg, including the Academy ofArts. He also works at Florinsdorfen Lokomotivfabrik and at the architectural and construction company Hestia. Since1924, when he was invited to Czechoslovakia, he has been working as a lecturer at the Ukrainian Academy ofEconomics at the Faculty of Agriculture in Podebrady , reads courses on machine parts, and Resistance materialsaccording to his own textbook, which he compiled in Ukrainian and published at the Academy. On the recommendationof an engineer, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Rector of the Higher Technical University in Prague, Professor ZdenekBazant [20], in 1929 Ivan Mikhailovich Truba was hired as a design engineer and general consultant in the bridge andiron production department of the Skoda Plant. The chronology in the field of creativity, the era of the Central Council and emigration has been clarified, hisscientific publications and pedagogical and creative activity as a scientist have been added The purpose of the article isto supplement the monograph on the life and work of I.M. Truba and its surroundings. Conclusions. It is known thatduring the Bolshevik rule, in his homeland, Ivan Mikhailovich was considered an enemy of the people (which was notspecified) "as a Ukrainian bourgeois nationalist". Therefore, all his activities were subjected to political anathema.Researched and analyzed archival materials, on the basis of which the conclusion is given − the significance ofI.M. Truba is covered as a person, a citizen − a patriot, namely: the UKRAINIAN PEOPLE. Ivan Mikhailovich'sactivity during his lifetime was distinguished by its versatility, namely: pedagogy, education, political, cultural andsocial activities, national patriotism, writing, architectural construction and scientific creativity.

The article reveals the peculiarities of the coverage of the architectural heritage in Ukraine from the historiographical point of view. The theoretical basis of the paper is the work of national and foreign culturologists, urban planners, geourbanists etc. During the twentieth century the thematic sphere of research of the city as a cultural phenomenon has significantly expanded. If in the XIX century the analysis of the urban way of life (both in the city and in the suburbs) was conducted in general from an economic standpoint, in the last century urban culture has been considered in terms of administrative and economic arrangement, synthesis of social and natural sciences, population of the city center and suburbs. The literature argues that the architectural forms, structures and decorative plasticity of buildings and structures of the centers of modern Ukrainian cities, belonging to the same functional type, can be different depending on the chronological and geographical parameters. Within one functional type, there are can exist different types of architectural form. The architectural form of a building is formed as a set of certain characteristics, depending on the functional program, materials and structures, which can be classified by type, having previously agreed on their terminological characteristics.

One of the characteristic features of modern Ukrainian literature is its innovative exploration at all levels such as genre-thematic, linguistic-stylistic, etc. The subject of this scientific investigation is an experimental project (family saga, novel in short stories) «DNК», the authors of which are seven original but different authors – Sergei Zhadan, Yuri Vynnychuk, Irena Karpa, Fozzy, Andrei Kokotyukha, Vladimir Rafaenko and Max Kidruk. The object of our study is the genre-style and ideological-thematic characteristics of each novel and their ideological and semantic integrity. Given the idiosyncrasy of each of the authors, we made a figurative analysis of the characters which includes their worldview, behavior, dreams and language. In the course of the research we can state that the chronotope of events, language, stylistic and genre peculiarities are all aimed at comprehensive disclosure of the life of Ukraine and Ukrainians at the peaks of history. It is the anthropological principle of analysis of these works that should be the starting point today and now, when not only our country, but humanity in general is in a situation of humanitarian catastrophe. The problem of all times and peoples is the unwillingness to listen to the artistic word, to the efforts of artists (intuitive, subconscious, and sometimes specifically oriented) to force their contemporaries to think about specific values and priorities, personal and national, taking into account the experience of past generations. We are convinced that the emergence of «DNК» is due to such a specific existential need, that is, the need for ueverybody to rethink the lessons of history with the necessary conclusions.

The article analyzes the hierarchy of fundamental world recreational and tourist resources. The qualitative-quantitative characteristics, the spatial distribution of UNESCO objects and the systematized data are presented. The structure of the UNESCO World Heritage sites is analyzed. Created schematic map of the structure and territorial distribution of UNESCO World Heritage sites in Ukraine. The advantages obtained by states when making their objects to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites are established. It is indicated that it contributes to the organization of monitoring and control of the state of conservation of natural and cultural objects. It is emphasized that UNESCO objects fall into the tourist guides of the world, and hence to the proposed routes of travel agencies. The factors that determine the presence of UNESCO objects in the country were analyzed. The geographic distribution of UNESCO World Heritage sites in the world and Ukraine is analyzed. The geographical distribution of the objects “Seven Wonders of Ukraine”, which were selected during the all-Ukrainian contest, was highlighted. An analysis of UNESCO World Heritage sites in Ukraine was conducted, their preliminary list. The attention is focused on the fact that the entry into the national list of intangible heritage in Ukraine is a necessary step for the objects to obtain the status of the “intangible heritage of UNESCO. The objects, which are included in the national list of intangible heritage in Ukraine, are analyzed. The map “The most significant recreational and tourist resources of Ukraine” was developed. It is noted that four of the seven Ukrainian objects of the UNESCO World Heritage Site are entirely within the territory of Ukraine. The remaining 3 objects are partly in the territory of other states. It was indicated that during the time of cooperation with the Organization Ukraine initiated many international programs and projects. Seven Ukrainian cultural-architectural and natural objects are listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is noted that the large volume of quantitative and qualitative data obtained when selecting UNESCO objects contributes to the formation of informed cultural policies and the integration of culture in the development strategy, thereby contributing to the implementation of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. The analysis made it possible to establish that the largest number of UNESCO World Heritage sites is concentrated in the European macroregion, thus Ukrainian entities that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage have to withstand significant competition in attracting international tourist flows. It is stated that the Asian market has the world’s largest tourism industry, and the number of objects of the World Heritage is second only to Europe.

The article considers the importance of preserving the architectural environment's national identity in terms of its defense’s effectiveness in modern military operations. A brief overview of the traditional urban characteristics of Ukrainian cities, which in the past ensured their effective defense, was made: the way the buildings are located in the landscape, the planning structure, the height of the buildings, and the density of their location on the territory. The local landscape was actively involved in the architectural organization of the environment, which ultimately determined the unique plan structure for each city and the individual routing of the street network. If necessary, elements of the local landscape were supplemented with artificial systems and used for defense. A significant perimeter of cities with a predominance of traditional manor buildings created difficulties for the organization of the enemy encirclement. Internal fortifications around individual structural elements of the city contributed to long-term defense. To protect large areas, a system of tree-earth ramparts was artificially created. In the past, these measures helped to defend Ukrainian cities effectively. The events of the Russian-Ukrainian war, among other things, revealed that modern weapons, with all their capabilities, could not always overcome landscape obstacles, in particular, ancient defensive walls and swampy areas north of Kyiv; cities that preserved the traditional character of the architectural environment defended more effectively; flat regions of cities, compared to those located on rugged terrain, found themselves in a more threatening situation, etc. All these facts will obviously be subject to detailed analysis in the future. Still, it is already possible to conclude that the preservation of traditional identity in the conditions of a modern architectural environment is essential not only for the self-identification of residents or for the formation of the attractiveness of urban space but also for practical reasons of organizing the effective defense. After all, in the process of long-term formation of the architectural space’s traditional features, the defensive potential of the local landscape many times passed a practical test of its effectiveness by military operations in different historical periods.

Every year river cruises are becoming more common, as river corridors have strong potential for recreation and tourism: architectural, historical and natural attractions are concentrated on their banks and in the port cities. Nevertheless major rivers have a huge resource and recreational potential as compared to small and medium-sized rivers, their tourist-recreational “luggage” is remarkably more modest. At the same time historical and national patriotic significance of small rivers sometimes is not inferior to the potential of major rivers. It’s worth noting that it is the medium and small rivers that often bears a recreational load that overpasses similar load on the major rivers. Materials of the article, based on the field researches and processing of an array of relevant publications and monographs, are dedicated to the systematization of ideas about the natural, architectural, historical and cultural resources of the Ukrainian part of the river Desna (Kyiv and Chernihiv region) – the largest left tributary of the river Dnipro. It’s suggested structural logical model of the hierarchy of fundamental world recreational and tourist resources, where banks of rivers, lakes and artificial lakes occupy the third of six levels. We systematized the ideas about the natural, architectural and historical sites that are visible from the board of the ship passing along the river Desna route and it was explained the sequence of its passage. Quantitative and qualitative indicators and characteristics of the tourist tour route on the Desna river is the basis for the comprehensive assessment of recreational and tourist potential of the Desnianskii recreational corridor, appropriate managerial decisions in through the lens of economic and ecological policies and regional (local) planning and design. River cruises and guided tours on the major and medium rivers of Ukraine, with its language, food and leisure particular characteristics, come to be certain alternative to the traditional Ukrainian tourist’s voyages to Egypt, Turkey, the Mediterranean Europe or Thailand.

The article considers the issue of ideas about space outside the home and the concept of «foreignness» in the traditional worldview of Ukrainians. That topic is insufficiently covered in the professional literature, because authors often focus either on covering the topic in global or regional (Eastern European) contexts, or on considering certain aspects of it. Worldview issues for the traditional outlook are universal, but their individual manifestations and importance in each culture play the role of a national marker. Therefore, this article is based on the analysis of numerous examples of Ukrainian folklore, especially lyrical and calendar-ritual songs, legends and fairy tales, as well as descriptions of rituals collected by ethnographers and folklorists in the XIX – early XX centuries. In the course of the research, the authors find that spatial conseptions were based primarily on binary oppositions, that is the opposition of the simplest understood descriptive characteristics: «near-far», «big-small», «domestic-foreign». The opposition of «domestic» and «foreign» in the delimitation of space was of key importance: «domestic» seemed everything clear, inhabited, native, related to personal experience; «foreign» – distant, incomprehensible, dangerous. To understand the spatial delimitation, the authors consider worldviews in the semantic pairs «in the house»/»outside», «in the yard»/»beyond the gate», «in the own village»/»outside the village», «own land»/»foreignness». Particular attention is paid to the concept of «foreignness» in the Ukrainian worldview, which demonstrates worldviews of distant uninhabited space. The token «foreignness» has a large number of meanings that vary depending on the context of using the verbal wording. A «foreignness» can be a space outside the yard, a neighbor’s house, a neighboring village, a distant land, another state, and so on. An important element of the topic is the study of boundary symbolism, because the zoning of space determines the presence of symbolic limits between individual territories with different semantics. These boundaries are often acted upon by objects, loci, or architectural elements that are quite familiar to us. For example, gates, fences, relief elements. All these boundaries were symbolic, were part of the worldview and played a significant role in rituals.

Based on the analysis of the works of foreign and national scientists of the 20th century, the symbol and mark are characterised as means of expressing the phenomenon essence, and the existing classifications of symbols are considered. The logos used in the late 19th – early 20th centuries in the world practice and on the Ukraine territory are analysed. The example of the Prudential Financial insurance company (the USA) shows that the use of a symbolic element remained unchanged in the process of its changes during 1860–1996. On the example of the trademarks of Ukrainian enterprises — the Ernst Mehlhose Agricultural Machinery Plant (1874–1923), the F. V. Alsop in Kharkiv enterprise, Luhansk Textile Mill (1904–2001), Kyiv Contract Fair (1797–1930) — the methods of visual identification are considered, the artistic means are determined; the comparative analysis is carried out. It is established that the image of the rock in the structure of the American company logo is a symbol of strength and security and appeals to its main characteristics. It is determined that in the means of visual identification of Ukrainian enterprises of the late 19th – early 20th centuries, there is a tendency to express clearly the company specialisation through realistic images of architectural buildings that belonged to them or produced products, as well as ordinary names with moderate artistic design.

The Border Service of Ukraine, implementing interaction with the rest of the subjects of border security (as a part of national security), the range of powers of which is related to the protection and protection of the border, takes measures to counteract any illegal manifestation in the area of responsibility of the border, tangential to its competences. According to the results of the analysis of the documents regulating the engineering and technical arrangement of the Ukrainian border, it was determined that the main tasks of the engineering and technical arrangement of the border are: ensuring remote monitoring of the technical equipment of the border area, complicating illegal border crossing and ensuring its control, protection of the relevant border unit at the border from types of means of injury; providing possible conditions for the actions of their forces (troops) and the use of means. The main elements of the architecture of the "intelligent" border protection system are: a network of integrated towers equipped with radar and optical-electronic surveillance, communication and information transmission, power supply, video surveillance and fire alarm security systems; a linear part of sensors and sensors that function on a different physical principle of action in combination with an engineering barrier and construction; an automated operator's place to collect and process alarm information from each installed technical means; forces and means of response (patrol cars, boats, airplanes, unmanned aerial vehicles), equipped with technical surveillance and a system of automatic determination of their location and recognition based on a unified cartographic situation; control and management center. Therefore, taking into account the information presented above, it can be stated that the key general characteristics of the "intelligent" border protection system are the modularity of the design (convenience of modernization of existing and integration of new components, functions and subsystems); the possibility of centralized management (in remote and local modes); inclusion in geoformation systems.

Background. In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in the development of mural art. Kharkiv is a special city, full of monumental urban buildings, heavy walls, and free space. This is a unique territory for the mural creating and street art development. Since the late 90s of the 20-century activists, street artists, and sometimes amateurs of the wall business were the first to create urban art objects with the experimental way, following the example of their western colleagues. The urban space of the city is a platform for the popularization and development of mural art without institutional influence. The paradigm of activating sociocultural processes in our time became the outcome of visual art beyond the frames of the galleries and museums into the public space. This explains the background of the research problem. In three decades, monotonous architecture has turned into colorful art objects. The appearance of graffiti and murals has become a globalized form of creative interaction between artists and society. Murals are symbols encoded by deep socio-political and cultural genesis. They prompt viewers to self-development and improvement, despite their status in the global pyramid of life. Objectives. The objectives of this study are to determine the specific and peculiarity of mural art development in Kharkiv. The artistic approach allows forming critical descriptions of basic samples. Therefore, the detailed analysis and interpretation of unique wall panels appear like the main purpose. It is important to prove that mural art is a vector of contemporary art development and the way of influence for sociocultural processes in public space. Differentiate definitions of appellations like "mural art", "graffiti", "street art", "urban art" in the context of drawing parallels between Ukrainian and foreign art-science literature. An important driving layer of information is unexplored in the art-science works. The theoretical comprehension of mural art is at the stage of formation without a solid basis. Methods. Classical methods were used for the research. Analysis of the literature, short historical overview allowed to form a basis. Digital imaging tools and Worldwide Internet Web has created online galleries, platforms, touristic maps, discussions. This way, artists find new ways to promote their work without institutional influence. The narrative analysis of the main Kharkiv’s murals allows determining mural art as a separate form of art and socio-cultural process. There was used a comparative method in the article. Street artists are using different media, technical applications, have divers stylistic features. Every large mural is encoded and differs not only with size, artistic value, idea, etc. but with a context. Art critics, government, and citizens perceive this art in different ways. With the help of the empirical method, was proved the influence of mural art on the social, cultural, and political processes in the country. Theoretical and deductive methods were used to reproduce the chronology and classification of Kharkiv’s murals. The article analysis from the solid. Works that are provocative for the society, were created without permission, commercial projects, creative murals, created within the festivals and initiatives, etc. The general blocks analyze the work of the prominent artists and describe the best samples from the analytic point of view. Results. The results of the research support the idea that the mural art in Kharkiv and Ukraine has not been studied in art-science works at all. The theoretical comprehension of mural art is at the stage of formation without a solid basis. Content is based on media sources like interviews and news. Murals and graffiti are often destroyed by natural, mechanical, or human intervention. Therefore, photo and video fixation on electronic resources allow to carry out a detailed analysis of works. Online street art galleries, festivals and project pages, artists' websites, and art critic blogs all provide access to informational material for processing. The thorough selection of the most valuable finds allows revealing the socio-political themes of the art, cultural, and psychological aspects. National scientists carry out a comparative analysis of graffiti. A meticulous explanation of the semantics and symbolism of urban art is reflected in the works of S. Kais. Prevailing studies of urban art are based on the original basis of Western theorists. Prominent are works of G. Shaw and R. Gastman, who describe street-art of all continents. Authors compare related graffiti, street art objects, and classify them by historiography, style, and theme. The British curator and sociologist R. Shakter has systematized the best samples of the World's mural art, introducing new appellations relating to neo-muralism, which, in his view, is different from monumental realistic paintings. He analyzes the creative achievements of leading Ukrainian muralists. The uniqueness of mural art is proved as a special form of contemporary art, which relies on transformation, multiculturalism, and the exit of visual art out of the gallery space. Urban artist’ projects promote the development of Kharkiv city gentrification. The article also supports the opinion of the uniqueness of mural art, as a special form of contemporary art, which is based on transformation, multiculturalism. Urban artist’ projects promote the development of Kharkiv city gentrification. Conclusions. The present results are significant in the field of research and the development of contemporary art. The development of mural art in Kharkiv and other cities of Ukraine deserves intent attention. A wide selection of artistic media, changes in ideological views, values, purposes, serving, technological progress, and many other factors have become catalysts in the process of forming and promotion of muralism as a complete form of contemporary art. A large number of realistic compositions means a powerful academic school and professionalism of artists. Fine detailing attracts by perfect realization. The results of the research are important for the socio-cultural significance and psychological, political influence of street-art on the ideology of citizens. The urban space of Kharkiv is popular and unique for street-artists not only in Ukraine but also in Western Europe and America. Every year, dozens of new high-quality murals appear in a progressive vector of quantity and quality. Therefore, it is important to deduce the evolution of Kharkiv's mural art in the comparative of urban art of other major cities of Ukraine.

This article presents the results of a study of sociability of people with different levels of selfdevelopment. The problem of self-realization occupies an important place in the system of human sciences. Due to its relevance and significance in the search for an answer to the question of the disclosure of human potential, it is approached by representatives of various sciences. Self-realization as a psychological problem involves, above all, the study of the inner world of people with different levels of self-realization in the main spheres of life in relation to their individual and personal qualities, as well as the study of strategies to promote self-realization. The path to self-realization is a long and arduous process. Sociability is the means that can help a person on this path. Confirmation of the idea of the great importance of camaraderie for the development, self-development and self-realization of the individual can be found in various trends, theories and concepts of domestic and foreign psychological science. The sample consisted of 105 people - students of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University and students of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. To diagnose the level of personality self-development S. B. Kuzikova's method "Dispositional characteristics of personality self-development" was used and O. P Sannikova's testquestionnaire "Formal-dynamic indicators of sociability" was used to study the peculiarities of the manifestation of sociability. Correlation analysis based on the primary results of each sample separately indicates the presence of a wide range of statistically significant relationships between most indicators of sociability and self-development. The next step, using the method of "aces" from the general sample of individuals were selected representatives with high and low levels of overall self-development. The analysis of the received profiles of sociability of persons with a high and low level of self-development testifies to differences on indicators of stability of communication, need for communication, expressiveness in communication. However, individuals in both groups are characterized by ease in unfamiliar situations, initiative in establishing contacts, making acquaintances, which often turn into friendly relations, the ability to engage in conversation with people on their own initiative and lead it in accordance with their own goals.

Modern reconstruction of central districts in cities and villages with a historical environment raises discussions on the protection of cultural heritage. Architectural monuments are a reflection of changes in ideological and political transformations in society, and the attitude to them is a reflection of the culture of the nation. The need to protect the ancient Ukrainian holy places as the genetic memory of the nation, and to build modern churches that will have the features of the new Ukrainian church, became even more important in the times of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The relevance of the study is conditioned by the aggravation of socio-political and national-cultural problems and insufficient coverage in studies of the process of creating and reflecting identity in Ukrainian churches. The purpose of the study was to investigate the process of shaping national identity and its visualisation by architectural means in the creation of Ukrainian churches. To achieve the goal, the following research methods were used: empirical (search for literary and archival sources, observation, comparison and description), theoretical (comparative and compositional analysis, classification and generalisation), and special research methods (full-scale survey of temples, their photo recording, identification of characteristic features and features, research of retrospective development). All this allowed investigating the process of development of the architecture of Ukrainian authentic churches in chronological order, to show the process of creating a new Ukrainian sacred style, which became the prototype of the creative search of modern architects. The researchers focused on the role of the artistic and creative elite in the creation of national identity; showed the problems of creating Ukrainian identity related to the historical past; analysed the influence of social and political factors on Ukrainian sacral architecture and the possibility of visualising the image of the national church through architecture; noted the importance of the image of Ukrainian sacral architecture for confirming national identity. The research demonstrates the importance of preserving ancient Ukrainian churches, which carry the genetic memory of the nation, supplement data on the development of sacral architecture, and open the way for further research. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the results obtained can be used by architects in the design of modern Ukrainian churches, will be useful in museum work and in educational activities for training architecture and design specialists

The architecture of Ukraine of the 20s — the beginning of the 30s of the XXth century was characterized by the search for the national originality of forms based on the understanding of the merits of Ukrainian baroque and folk architecture, a further workshop of the interpretation of the classicism techniques and the receipt of the marked revolutionary romance of architecture. In the 1930s, the stylistic orientation of the architecture of the former USSR and its component part of Ukraine was replaced by directive decrees and the Decree of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b) “On the restructuring of literary and artistic organizations” (1932), created unions of writers, composers and architects. The resulting policy orientation on classical patterns as the basis of the creative method of socialist realism has become a phenomenon inherent in totalitarian regimes. The article discusses the many facets of the creative activity of V.G. Zabolotny, as an architect, scientist and educator, public figure, founder of the Ukrainian school of architecture, founder and president of the Academy of Architecture of the former USSR. The main stages of the work of the architect in the context of the history of the formation and development of Ukrainian architecture of the 30–60-ies of XX century are analyzed. One of the significant creative achievements of V. G. Zabolotny was the fruitful activity in the Academy Architecture of the USSR, which he created, it was discontinued in 1963. In 1992, it was reborn as a public organization — the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture (UAA), called to life by the new socio-economic conditions of the country's development. The UAA revival, continuing the tradition the Academy of Architecture, created byV. G. Zabolotny, makes a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian architecture as one of the components of Ukrainian national culture. The materials on the multifaceted activity of V.G. The article discovers actual problems of the Ukrainian language functioning and developing as of the national state language during the wartime, specifies perspective aspects of the national language safety for the future. On the one hand, our national culture causes increasing concern in the world, encourages learning Ukrainian to stand in solidarity with the nation courageously fighting against Russian invaders, reinforcing considerable part of the Ukrainian society to national values, rejecting Russian as a hostile means of communication. On the other hand, there have been noticeable mitigation of firm positions in the language policy on different levels, some tolerance to russification, unpretentious attitude to the use of Russian in media, in official communication etc. And this is occurring on the background of linguicide, denationalization on the Ukrainian territories occupied by Russian Federation army. In the publication the attention is focused on the dissemination of the Ukrainian language in Europe and in the world in the past 2022, relevance of the national legislation. There has been made an emphasis on the necessity of systemic legal protection of the national language with a wide range of influence functions with punishment, among others, when the current laws are not fulfilled. We outline linguistic problems and ways to resolve them, in particular, we consider it important to expand horizons of Ukrainian as a foreign language abroad. On time is functioning of effective Ukrainian-speaking front with the use of all possible media resources as well as realization of wide inventory of the national onymicon. It is recommended to consider Ukrainian latynytsya, translation studies, books publishing, editor institution, slovnykarstvo, documentary science, linguistic expertise, moderate purism, folklore etc. We emphasize the necessity to create «Novy Ukrainsky Pravopys» – the only literary standard of orthography and punctuation for all Ukrainians in the world. It is important to change the third sentence in article 10 of the Constitution, return to initial recommendations of the National Commission of the national language standards concerning the exam on the Ukrainian language proficiency for state officials and those acquiring citizenship, make international Ukrainian rewards, festivals, competitions prestigious and the Ukrainian language must be heard on the platforms of the most authoritative and influential international institutions. It is absolutely necessary to expand and establish Ukrainian-speaking impact in such spheres: on all levels of state power institutions, in the Armed forces of Ukraine, in territory defense forces, national guard, border troops, customs, law enforcement agencies, national police, courts, prosecutor’s office, justice, military establishments, education, science, media, economy, business, tourism, catering and beauty industries. The aim of the study is to determine the director's approaches to the creation of national images in Ukrainian opera on the basis of social origin, age, gender, peculiarities of living conditions in a particular environment, the characteristics of the characters. The object of research was M. Lysenko's opera "May Night, or Drowned" in the conceptual design of the composer and his various directorial incarnations. The methodology of research of the chosen problems uses the system-analytical and typological method. Their application contributes to a comprehensive approach in the study of factors shaping the formation of national characteristics of the Ukrainian ethnos, in identifying its individual characteristics and necessary features, their manifestations in creating an artistic image of the character. The relevance of the study is due to the need for historically reliable embodiment of the images of the Ukrainians in today's opera performances. Today's Ukrainian musical theatre, which is developing in the direction of globalization, does not avoid the positive and negative consequen-ces of the so-called "theatrical integration", which, in turn, leads to a conditional image of the Ukrainians, avoiding a historically accurate view of social status, coverage, clothing, character and so on. Often the director's interpretation of the images of Ukrainian characters is simplified, and sometimes distorted due to self-identity. The formation of the Ukrainian ethnos took place under the influence of certain factors that influenced the formation of its characteristics, features of life and customs, traditions, customs, rituals, which requires scientific understanding to accurately reflect these aspects in operas on national themes. Findings and conclusions. The Ukrainian theatre did not escape the influence of globalization and integration processes, which had both positive and negative consequences. The positive ones include allowing Ukrainian artists to join joint international opera’s projects, to solve joint problematic opera`s regimes, to exchange creative achievements and discoveries, and so on. To the negative ones - the mechanical transfer of foreign directing experience, avoiding its rethinking, on domestic soil without taking into account the peculiarities of the mental perception of the Ukrainian ethnic group of foreign traditions, way of life, means of communication and more. The analysis of the scientific work on the selected issues allows to state the fragmentary nature of research in the stage incarnations of artistic images of Ukrainians in the national opera. Solving the national image in Ukrainian opera requires a comprehensive cross-sectoral approach in determining the characteristics of the characters through the prism of ethnic identity, age, gender, social status, which affects their directorial interpretations. The director must conduct research work to determine the factors influencing the formation of the characteristics of a particular character in order to historically and reliably address the image of the Ukrainian in the opera. Isolation of different archetypes of the Ukrainian ethnos allows to create a more complete psychological portrait of the opera character, which, acting in the "proposed circumstances", will be historically authentic, as in the stage image of life, rituals and ceremonies with appropriate selection of means of communication. social status, age, gender and other characteristics of the actors. Prospects for further research are seen in the in-depth study and creation of a historically authentic national image of the character in the musical and theatrical arts.

The relevance of the article is determined by the need for systematic and competent support of brands in the agricultural sector and agricultural regions of Ukraine using modern strategically oriented marketing and branding tools. The purpose of the article is to research theoretical and practical aspects of regional policy in forming the attractiveness of agricultural region brands; to substantiate the architecture of brand attractiveness marketing policy based on STP marketing methodology. The research was conducted at theoretical and empirical levels, based on the modern concept of regional development, which involves forming attractiveness by focusing on the needs, expectations, values, and utilities of the region for defined target audiences, creating a comfortable environment for living, doing business, investing, and visiting within its boundaries (or in partnership with neighboring regions). The regional policy for forming the attractiveness of an agricultural region brand is defined as a set of goals, tasks, intentions, actions, methods, means, institutions aimed at attracting target audiences' attention to the agricultural region, developing, legitimizing, and supporting the brand of the agricultural region. It is emphasized that the regional brand attractiveness policy is developed and implemented by territorial authorities with active participation from community members, agricultural producers (farms, holdings), professional associations, scientific institutions, representatives of processing, logistics, distribution infrastructure, and other stakeholders; formalized in regional development programs and strategies. It is noted that such a policy is based on modern organizational, financial, marketing tools, which positively impact the business, investment, innovation, tourism, social, migration, environmental, and infrastructural attractiveness of the region, considering national, regional, and local interests. The feasibility of applying the STP marketing technology in the regional brand attractiveness policy of an agricultural region is proven in the article, which allows identifying and engaging target audiences of the agricultural region through systematic and consistent segmentation, targeting, positioning procedures and developing strategic, tactical, and operational marketing activities based on them. At the strategic level, segmentation technology is applied to highlight groups with similar needs and perceptions of the region's brand attractiveness; at the tactical level, targeting procedures are used to assess the region's brand attractiveness for different target audiences and to form a set of marketing mechanisms creating new attractiveness that meets the target audiences' interests; at the implementation level, positioning of the region is carried out, understood as forming the correct perception of the agricultural region's brand among the target audiences. The article presents measures within France's regional policy for developing agricultural regions, which today aims to develop the attractiveness of specific territories for living and employing new residents through special programs and strategies, which are advisable to implement in the practice of Ukrainian regions. Examples of strategies for increasing the attractiveness of agricultural regions in Germany illustrate a wide range of opportunities and unique proposals that German regions implement for new modern positioning, strengthening, and updating their brand. The necessity of applying a marketing approach to increase the regions' attractiveness to youth is substantiated, which involves not pressure to study, live, work in the agricultural region, but correct persuasion, that is, using marketing technologies and tools that promote the need for youth in the region, demonstrate opportunities for self-realization, self-development, career building in the region. It is concluded that the regional brand attractiveness policy of an agricultural region is long-term, flexible, adaptive, oriented towards increasing the attractiveness of the regional product and brand compared to other regions not only for residents but also for other target groups. Branding of an agricultural region forms and manages a composition of unique features, attributes, characteristics, and advantages of the region, allowing the region to position itself successfully, differentiate from competitors, and create a positive perception of the regional brand. The architecture of the marketing policy for the agricultural region's brand attractiveness is based on the STP marketing attractiveness model “strategy - tactics – implementation”.

Problem statement. Today in Ukraine the mechanisms of public influence on decision-making regarding the development of urban ensembles and cities in general continue to be formed. At the same time, the level of education of ordinary citizens in current trends in architecture, design and urban planning remains quite low. This affects the general semantic state of the architectural content of cities and results in a literal repetition of the visual forms of the XIX century in modern buildings, especially in the central (historical) parts of Ukrainian cities. According to the hypothesis of this research, the solution to this problem is in the creation of a system of free basic architectural education at several different levels. Purpose of the article. The main purpose of this work is to determine ways to update the perception of architectural objects by residents of Ukrainian cities. The objectives of the study are the analysis of publicly available methods of obtaining basic architectural and urban education and their classification, the definition of rational means to increase the general level of awareness in the field of architecture and urban planning. Conclusion. Due to the extraordinary breadth and heterogeneity of the population of large cities of Ukraine, achieving a global departure from inauthentic and irrelevant architectural and urban principles and update the national perception of architectural objects and architecture in general is possible only through introducing a set of actions aimed at a specific target audience (TA). In this study, in order to simplify, only four basic TAs are identified, but in further developments they need to be detailed more to achieve a better actual result. In the general context, the most important will be TA1 (students) − an audience that can begin to receive basic architectural knowledge, sufficient enough to understand the main trends in architecture and urban planning.

In achieving this goal, the following research methods were applied: historical, observation, analysis, comparison, periodization method, generalization of the problem studied. Scientific Novelty is to determine the role of Ukrainian national archetypes in the formation and development of culture. Conclusions. Cultural archetypes and historical forms form the foundations of any national culture, including Ukrainian. They determine its content and functional integrity. The basis of our research was the Jungian concept, according to which socio-cultural development provides for a vivid embodiment of archetypes in a particular culture, and vice versa, inhibition of social processes through the absence of a specific archetype. The very concept of an archetype remains multifaceted and voluminous.Ukrainian national cultural archetypes are clearly expressed in myths, legends, fairy tales, customs and rituals, traditions, folklore, which summarizes the experience of our ancestors.

The article is devoted to the study of the prerequisites and procedural aspects of the conclusion of the Act of Unity of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic on January 22, 1919, which was the culmination of centuries-old efforts of Ukrainians to unite their historical national lands within the boundaries of a single sovereign and independent state of Ukraine. The process of affirming the unity of the Ukrainian lands historically began with the search for support for the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic among the political elites of Trans-Dnieper Ukraine. The pre-accession agreement concluded between representatives of the Western Ukrainian political elite and the newly formed Directorate of the Ukrainian People’s Republic provided for the procedure for ratifying the union of the two parts of Ukraine. The aspirations of Western Ukrainian People’s Republic representatives regarding equal representation in the highest bodies of state administration, which they previously discussed with the Management, were not realized. In fact, the Directory recognizes the autonomous status of Western Ukrainian People’s Republic as one of the regions of Ukraine under the name Western Region of the Ukrainian People’s Republic. The management of the Directory was aware of the declarative nature of the connection. The paradigm of the historical perspective and parallels through the centuries brings us back to the need to constantly study the strengths and positive experiences of the past, study mistakes in order to avoid them in the future. The period of Ukrainian national development studied in the article went through many difficult trials, but this encouraged Ukrainians to raise national liberation ideas to a new level - awareness of the need for national and territorial unity. The leaders of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and Western Ukrainian People’s Republic failed to realize the positive aspirations that were laid down in their positive movement towards the unity of the state. The main drawback was that the main institutions of power of the Ukrainian People’s Republic remained formed according to the imperial model. There was a lack of professional and at the same time nationally conscious personnel. An important historical experience of the relationship between the two parts of Ukraine, which must be taken into account in the current conditions of Ukraine, is the development of a common national policy, the vector of which is national interests, sovereignty and protection of the independence and territorial integrity of the state.

The research of the features of Ukrainian Christianity in the works of M.F. Sumtsov was analyzed. On this theoretical and philosophical-theoretical basis, the characteristics of the features of the «Ukrainian Orthodoxy», which have an influence on the formation of Ukrainian identity, are singled out and given. Modern scholars V. Gorsky, A. Kolodnyy, Y. Chornomorets emphasize the philosophical and cultural consequences of the Ukrainian Orthodox paradigm to determine the meaning of life-style guidelines of Ukrainians, the mental and identification characteristics of the Ukrainian nation. An ideologue of Ukrainian Orthodoxy contributing to the consolidation of modern Ukrainian society, the unification of common religious spiritual values, was presented in the works of Mykola Sumtsov, one of the first in his scholarly works. One of the ways to overcome the crisis of our society and a significant step towards consolidation of the national Ukrainian identity is to obtain autocephaly by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. In the writings of Mykola Sumtsov it is emphasized that the Christian church is an important means of Ukrainian national unity. Mykola Sumtsov speaks about pan-European, democratic tendencies in the Ukrainian Orthodoxy, the approach of Ukrainian Orthodoxy to the soul and everyday life of Ukrainians, involvement through the church to public life. In the study of the features of Ukrainian Orthodoxy, the author identified his following defining characteristics: cordocentrism, democracy, harmony of public and ecclesiastical life. morality, focus on active moral and practical activity. On the basis of our research, we have identified a significant theoretical potential of M. Sumtsov's works, their high analytic and encyclopedic character.

The actuality and importance of this issue are due to the fact that ensuring resilience of the nation and the country and modern development of democratic societies requires synergistic activities and effective dialogue between public authorities and citizens to understand the problems and needs of the state and society, especially under rapidly changing turbulent conditions. The purpose of this article is to identify the main threats to Ukraine and clarify the definition of national resilience, understanding that the basis of the interface between national security and national resilience is the human perception of these problems, including their relationship to the government and administrative institutions. The leading approach to the study of this issue was content analysis, which allowed to provide the main answers, in accordance with the goal – to identify the main threats and clarify the concept of national resilience; statistical methods were also used – combined methods of data collection and processing, such as generalization and systematization, processing of sociological information, assessment of distribution patterns, graphical method, etc. The article reveals that the main threats to Ukraine among the Ukrainian student youth are considered to be the internal challenges of governing society, external threats to territorial integrity and economic danger; at the same time, we update the concept of national resilience, emphasizing the most commonly used components, such as the ability of nations and countries to successfully overcome internal and external threats, while maintaining patriotic spirit and national identity, given the high level in quality of life in a socially independent country. This article has practical value for rethinking the term “national security” and “national resilience”, according to their characteristics, bringing the quality of the results of this concept to the most satisfactory for both the state and its citizen. Thus, the development of necessary measures of resilience in Ukraine can be directed; the results of the article can be used by scientists, practitioners, government officials, civil society for the development and implementation of this concept in Ukraine and be a basis for further study of this concept in other democracies

Grey Ukrainian cattle breed inseparably linked to the history of Ukraine and has great cultural value. This breed is one of ancient, which traces several millennia BC and the most unique cattle breed of Ukraine. Grey Ukrainian bulls are linked with ancient Ukrainian industrial international dealing – salt selling, which is witnessed to exist since 11 century. Cattle of this breed were highly welcomed at markets of Russian empire because of strong and elastic skins (7% of live weight). And their live weight constituted up to 1300 kg. Cows of the breed were characterized with good maternal qualities and fat milk (up to 9%). But meat qualities of the breed significantly yield to meat qualities of the best international and national beef breeds of Ukraine. It caused the situation when Grey Ukrainian is going to be extinct as the main power of breed survival and prospering in market conditions is profit. Now this breed is available in two herds of Ukraine, counting about 1000 heads. One of the possible ways of its conservation is commercialization of useful traits, which are superior to such traits of other breeds of Ukraine and the world. It is firstly qualitative traits of the breed, including content of milk. One of the important constituents of taste and quality of milk is fat, which depends greatly on qualitative and quantitative fatty acid content. So, the purpose of the article was to investigate fatty acid content of Grey Ukrainian cattle and to compare it to such of other breeds. Milk for investigation was taken from the cows of Grey Ukrainian breed (n = 5) of state enterprize (research farm of the Institute of Grain of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences) and private farm of Kiev region, Bila Tserkva district (“MotherFarm”), where only one cow of the breed was milked. Cows were taken randomly, kept in one shed (in the frame of one farm) and fed the same ratio. The detection of milk fatty acid content was carried out according to the state standard ISO 5508–2001 “Animal and Vegetable Fats and Oils. Analyzing of fatty acid methyl ethers by gas chromatography method”. Preparation of samples was done in obedience to state standard ISO 5509–2002 “Animal and Vegetable Fats and Oils. Preparation of methyl ethers of fatty acids.” Chromatographic analysis of fatty acids was carried out in the Ukrainian Laboratory of Quality and Food Safety in Agrarian Industry of the National University of Biological Resources and Nature of Ukraine, Kyjiv, at gas chromatograph Trace Ultra with FID detector and capillary column SP-2560 (Supelco). The content of individual fatty acid was determined as a percentage of it to the total content of this class of organic compounds in the test sample. The error of the sample was calculated between two testing of the same sample. Mathematical processing of the data was done at the Excel software package. Statistical processing of results showed dominance of individual peculiarities of fatty acids content rather, than farm ones. So, cows of state breeding farm “Polyvanivka”, which is situated in the southern east of Ukraine (Dnipropetrovska oblast) have similar content of fatty acids, as the cows of the same breed of private farm “MotherFarm”, which is situated in the north of Ukraine (Kyjiv oblast) and cows of one farm have significant fluctuations inside the sample on the content of fatty acids. Milk of the investigated cows of Grey Ukrainian cattle was characterized with 66.61% saturated and consequently, 33.44% unsaturated fatty acids. Milk of the cattle constitute 30.14% of monousaturated fatty acids. Quantity of essential linoleic and α-linoleic fatty acids in the milk of Grey Ukrainian cattle constitutes 3.30%. Interelation of ώ-3 to ω-6 acid in the milk of Grey Ukrainian cattle was 1:3.65. Comparison of fatty acid content of Grey Ukrainian cattle and other local indigenous cattle of Ukraine – Whiteheaded Ukrainian, showed, that milk of Grey Ukrainian contained less saturated acids, than milk of Whiteheaded Ukrainian (68.37%) and, consequently, more unsaturated. But the quantity of the most required in human organism essential acids (linoleic and α-linoleic), which are not synthesized in organism, in the milk of Whiteheaded Ukrainian constitute 3.57%, which was a bit higher, than in the milk of Grey Ukrainian. But content of monounsaturated myristoliec acid is almost 5 times higher in the milk of Grey Ukrainian, than in the milk of Whiteheaded Ukrainian cattle (p ˂ 0,001). Palmitoleic acid content in the milk of Grey Ukrainian breed exceeds content of the acid in the milk of Whiteheaded more, than 7.5 times. The difference is highly significant (td = 10.96, p ˂ 0.001). Oleic (ω-9) acid is higher in the milk of Whiteheaded Ukrainian, but slightly. Comparison of fatty acid content in the milk of Grey Ukrainian and Whiteheaded Ukrainian breeds, which both are local authohtonous, and commercial ones (holstenized Ukrainian Black-and-White breed and Holstein) showed similar content of saturated acids with certain fluctuations, but the quantity of essential α-linoleic acid was 10 times lower in the milk of commercial breeds, than in the milk of both above-mentioned local breeds.

The peculiarities of the national identity of Ukrainians significantly influenced the process of national and state-building in Ukraine, thereby determining the national identity and subsequently the political behavior of its citizens. One of the striking examples of the influence of national identity in Ukraine is the events of 2013-2014 in Crimea and in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, when, under the influence of the internal political crisis and external influence, part of Ukrainian society took part in rallies, incl. with the aim of changing the social system and even secession from the country, which led to threats to the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The purpose of this article is to identify the features of the national identity of Ukrainians, which created the basis for massive anti-Ukrainian actions in 2013-2014, as well as modern trends in the development of Ukrainian society, and their impact on the national security of the state. The main results and conclusions of the article: significant regional differences in the identities of Ukrainians formed the conditions for the emergence and external construction of the socio-political crisis. Strong regional identity, low support for Independence, linguistic and political preferences of the inhabitants of the East and South of Ukraine became the key factors that influenced the stability of the state. Changes in Ukraine's policy after 2014, in the context of a military conflict with Russia, changed the characteristics of national identity, and probably contributed to the formation of a stronger Ukrainian state. The article can be used to further study the problematic aspects of the formation of national identity in the post-Soviet space, as well as to simulate scenarios for the development of political crises in order to develop an effective state policy that will help strengthen national unity, meet the needs of society, and find compromises between different social groups.

The concepts and main stages of formation and development of gender policy in Ukraine are analyzed. The factors contributing to the emergence of gender inequality in the Ukrainian National Police have been studied. These include, firstly, the unequal position of women and men in society due to gender stereotypes. The article analyzes the components, characteristics, and functions of the mechanism for ensuring gender equality in the Ukrainian National Police. Particular attention is paid to the legal basis for ensuring gender equality in the activities of the Ukrainian National Police. To this end, the normative framework aimed at ensuring gender equality in the Ukrainian National Police was analyzed. It is concluded that, despite significant changes in the content of the laws to establish the principle of gender equality, there is still a long way to go to achieve effective equality.

The aim of the article is to reveal the tendency to use images of the Constantinople capital's architecture in the projects of sacred buildings in Galicia at the beginning of the XXI century. Under the hieratopy of New Rome means the special status of Constantinople - the sacred center of the World Christian (Roman) State. After the fall of Constantinople, the image of New Rome became available for reproduction in previously remote corners of the Byzantine world, including in the construction of the identities of certain modern nations formed in the nineteenth century. It is underlined that the hieratopy of New Rome became an important part of Ukrainian identity searching within the sacred architecture of Galicia. It is determined that in varying degrees, it was characteristic of the search for a national manifestation both in the period of the turn of the XIX - XX centuries, and of the Independence period in the turn of the XX - XXI centuries. It is determined that for this last period, an important factor was the significant improvement of relations between the Western (Latin) and Eastern (Orthodox) churches, the rehabilitation of Eastern traditions in Roman Catholic discourse. Also the article shows examples of a number of buildings, which testify to different variants of architecture work of sacred buildings in Galicia (West Ukraine) with images of hieratopia of New Rome. Furthermore is given a ways in which it fits into the existing stereotypes of architectural manifestation of Ukrainian national identity and symbolism, as well as manifestations of Ukrainian national identity.

Among the avant-garde monuments preserved in Kharkiv and creating its unique architectural character, the buildings of workers’ clubs occupy a special place. The construction of buildings with such a function began in Kharkiv at the beginning of the 20th century, but after the October Revolution, workers’ clubs became almost the main symbol of the era, because they symbolized the desire for a new life and the creation of a new person. In the works of avant-garde architects, the club became a favorite design theme. During the architectural competitions of the early and mid-1920s, a typology of club buildings was compiled and original compositional and artistic solutions formed, which reflected a creative discussion about the development of Ukrainian architecture: the struggle against the revival of baroque trends ended with the victory of a new direction — Modernism. The architecture of Kharkiv workers’clubs in the 1920s and 1930s reflects the development trends of Ukrainian modernism, but it has its own characteristics related to both regional features and the individuality of the masters who took part in their design. Kharkiv’s clubs reflect the diversity of views of, and approaches to, form-giving by architects with different views and experience, whose buildings constitute a unique architectural heritage. The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristic features of Kharkiv workers’ clubs and determine their place in the general picture of Ukrainian modern architecture for the further development of a program for their preservation. The research uses the methods of historical-architectural, functional-structural and stylistic analysis, which includes traditional general scientific approaches. The material collected, analyzed and systematized in this article can be used for further scientific research in the field of the development of historic architecture, for the implementation of project proposals for the restoration and conservation of individual monuments, and in education.

The article highlights the ideas of forming the architecture of scenographic pavilions at world exhibitions that demonstrate works of theatrical art on the example of those that presented theatrical art at one of the most famous forums in the world – the Prague Quadrennial in 1967-2019 (PQ), and in particular, the first Ukrainian ones. Quadrennial events are held every 4 years and present the development of various theatrical arts: architecture, scenography, performing arts, theatre skills, etc. But few of the interesting architectural solutions of national pavilions and installations are represented in professional, educational, popular and scientific publications. Therefore, the authors of the article decided to highlight various architectural ideas of national theatre pavilions (Belgium, the former USSR and Russia, Germany, Slovakia, Spain, Estonia), and in particular, the creation of the architecture of the first Ukrainian ones. The authors – teachers, postgraduates, students of the Department of Architectural Environment Design – relied upon and developed the architectural and scenographic ideas of the world-famous scenographer Y. Lysyk in 2015, 2019. The space of which in the first case was a stage, the horizon and wings of which were similar to the curtain from the performance of Lysyk's ballet "Romeo and Juliet", and in the second case, in 2019, space resembled the "amphitheatre" of the Ukrainian prehistoric theatre for Kupala drama. The horizon was enlarged based on the artist's sketch for the folk opera "When the Fern Blooms".

The article is concerned with the arrangement of countries according to national cultural features based on cluster analysis and the determination of directions for adapting the corporate culture of Ukrainian companies to the conditions of cooperation with companies of different country clusters. It is substantiated that corporate culture is one of the key success factors for an international company. It is proved that Ukrainian companies should concentrate on implementing global standards of corporate culture into management practice, which are based on taking into account national cultural characteristics. The influence of national culture on the corporate culture of companies of different country clusters is analyzed based on the Hofstede 6-D model. The peculiarities of the corporate culture of Ukrainian international companies are considered and the significance of national cultural differences between the companies of Ukraine and typical countries of various clusters, namely the countries of Asia, Northern Europe, German Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Anglo-American countries, are assessed. It is shown that the corporate culture of Ukrainian international companies is most easily adapted to Turkish companies, and the most difficult to American and Swedish companies. It was determined which areas of corporate culture adaptation Ukrainian international companies should pay attention to in order to effectively cooperate with international companies from Japan, the USA, Germany, Sweden, Argentina and Turkey. It is proved that the presented recommendations will contribute to obtaining an effective combination of the corporate culture of the Ukrainian company with the original culture of the partner company. It is emphasized that despite the importance of the influence of national cultural characteristics on the corporate culture of international companies, the impact of globalization should not be underestimated, which to a certain extent over time smooths out sharp cultural differences and minimizes the requirements for cultural adaptation.

The article examines the features of the artistic model of thinking in Taras Shevchenko's novel "The Unfortunate". It is emphasized that Taras Shevchenko's Russian-language works represent the evolution of Taras Shevchenko's artistic thinking. The specificity of the artistic model of thinking and its Ukrainian national character is revealed in the Russian-language stories of the author. The thesis is substantiated that using Russian language T. Shevchenko represents his multifaceted model of Ukrainian thinking inherent in his artistic worldview and the way of artistic interpretation of the world. An important factor in presenting the specifics of the artistic model of thinking in Taras Shevchenko's novels is the image of the author, his perception and interpretation of the world as a reflection of the author's view. Also, the factors of representation of the artistic model of thinking in the stories of T. Shevchenko, in particular in the work "Unfortunate", are manifestations of Ukrainian variants of romanticism and sentimentalism; the narrator's appeal to the epistolary, in which purely Ukrainian issues are comprehended; the image of the narrator thinking in national categories; travel notes with descriptions of paintings of Ukrainian cities, villages, nature, landscapes of Ukraine. It is noted that Taras Shevchenko's syncretic stories combine different styles and genres. We can see a number of autobiographical characters according to romantic traditions in them and in the story "The Unfortunate". Basically, the artistic model of Taras Shevchenko's thinking, which was Ukrainian and national in character and manifestation, first created in poetic texts, was transferred and integrated into his prose heritage. In prose works, it is synthesized the characteristics of sentimentalism, enlightenment, romanticism, naturalism.'The Unfortunate' is based on the use of a retrospective method. The text has such features as the presence of a number of main and secondary characters with a pronounced Ukrainian content and essence. All the heroes of the work are a manifestation and result of the national environment. The vocation of the heroes of the story "Unhappy" is to present the Ukrainian model of thinking and worldview. The work has a clear structure, its characteristics are logical, meaningful, often autobiographical (primarily the image of the narrator) and are of major importance in the formation of the Ukrainian national narrative of the story.

Ukraine is the motherland of not only Ukrainians but also of many national minorities with different cultures and traditions. Ukraine is a Christian country in general, with non-Christian and non-Christian religions and confessional currents, along with traditional churches - Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant - rooted and actively developing non-traditional Ukrainian culture and spirituality. In Ukraine there is a complex process of spiritual revival, especially in the intellectual environment. Many are written and talk about the preservation of cultural heritage. Everywhere, monuments of architecture, art, which testify to the generally recognized historical contribution of Christianity to the development of spirituality and morality of the Ukrainian people, are restored. In our eyes, there are changes in social and religious relations.
