This study aims to compare the interpretations of Al-Ibriz and Al-Mishab in relation to the relationship between humans and nature. The formulation of the problem raised by the author is: "How is the relationship between humans and nature in Al-Ibriz and Al-Mishbah and what is the difference between the two?" The analytical method used is muqaran. With the type of literature studied, the author makes Tafsir Al-Ibriz and Tafsir Al-Mishbah the primary sources and literature in the form of books and articles related to themes the secondary sources. The results of this study are, first, that the relationship between humans and nature appears in actions that lead to the destruction of nature, namely QS. Al-A'raf: 56. In Tafsir al-Ibriz, acts of destruction are defined as acts of shirk and immorality. Whereas in Tafsir Al-Misbah, vandalism is an act that exceeds the limit, both in terms of its physical, spiritual, and natural surroundings. Second, in QS. Yasin: 33-35 of Tafsir Al-Ibriz, it is stated that humans are ordered to maximize the role of reason in preserving nature as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT. Whereas in Tafsir Al-Mishbah, humans play a direct role in preserving nature, the essence remains Allah SWT, who determines.

The introduction of non-halakhic material into a halakhic section of a classical rabbinic work is a redactional choice that can substantially affect the interpretation of both kinds of material. Understanding the relationship between the non-halakhic material and the surrounding halakhic material can affect one's assessment of the redactor's activity. Conversely, assumptions concerning the redactor's activity can affect the interpretation of the non-halakhic material. The relationship between halakhic and non-halakhic material and the implications of that relationship for redaction critical investigations are particularly complex in the case of the Tosefta, because the latter is not a completely independent composition. Some scholars see the Tosefta as an interpretative work based on the Mishna while others argue for a degree of redactional independence. What then is the proper context for the interpretation of materials found in the Tosefta—the Tosefta itself or the Mishnah? The answer to this question will crucially affect our interpretation of the non-halakhic material included in the Tosefta and the relation of that material to the halakhic material. This article demonstrates the difficulty in determining the proper redactional context for the interpretation of Toseftan passages that contain halakhic and non-halakhic material by examining the story of Rabbi Yehuda walking behind his teachers in T. Berakhot 1.2. The reason for inserting the story can be understood in three ways, corresponding to three different definitions of the “halakhic context,” in which the Mishnah has a greater or lesser controlling influence over the Tosefta.

This study included an assessment of the hydrogeological conditions of the Mishraq sulphur fields before production, by measuring groundwater levels in (11) wells in Mishraq-2 in 2021, as well as the information of wells obtained, which are (12) wells in Mishraq-3, (68) wells in Mishraq-1. Groundwater levels ranged between (187.71-205.80) m in Mishraq-1, while in Mishraq-2 it ranged between (189.19-196.26) m, as for Mishraq-3 the levels were between (186.4-194.98) m. The contour maps were drawn for the movement and levels of groundwater, showing that the direction of groundwater movement in Mishraq field-1 is from the west and northwest to the east, with a slight slope towards the southeast, towards the Tigris River, while in the Mishraq field-2, we notice that the direction of groundwater movement is From the east to the west, that is, toward the Tigris River, as for Mishraq field-3, it was found that the direction of movement is from the southeast toward the northwest, that is, toward the Tigris and Great Zab rivers. So it can be said that the Tigris and Great Zab rivers are the two drainage areas in these three fields. The hydraulic properties were analyzed in (44) wells in the three Al-Mishraq fields. Where the values of Transmissivity (T) in Mishraq field-1 ranged between (24.4-1557.5) m2/day, as for Mishraq-2 it ranged between (23-96.91) m2/day, while in Mishraq-3 it ranged between (10.5-4002) ) m2//day, and the hydraulic conductivity (K) ranged between (0.26 -14.68) m/day in Mishraq field-1, as for Mishraq-2 it ranged between (0.7-4.2) m/day, while in Mishraq-3 It ranged between (0.37-119.09) m/day.

Mishkan ha-‘Edut, is the last important work written by Castilian cabalist R.Moshe de Leon (1240-1305). One can consider this work as an oeuvre of maturation of the author’s thought. Known by several works written in Hebrew, R.Moshe de Leon is, according to historians, one of the main authors of the prestigious Sefer ha-Zohar, written in Aramean, that the popular and rabbinic tradition attributes to R. Shim’one bar Yohaï, Galilean rabbi living in the first and second century of the Christian era. The Mishkan ha-‘Edut addresses several fundamental questions: the reason of the existence of the world and its foundation in divinity; the place of man in this world, the profound theological signification and the reason of its path on earth; the nature of transgression of divine commandment and the possibility of repentance for men as psychological beings carrying a divine derived soul; eschatology of the soul, the fate of each of its components after death, its purification in the géhenne and the nature of its stay in the garden of Eden. R.Moshe de Leon goes over, in a more structured way, several topics addressed in his previous writings. In particular, a theory of the soul and its “protections” (malbushim) after death. He insists on the esoteric aspect of the developed topics considering himself as owning a given knowledge. On several occasions, he also insists on his hesitation to disclose “the secrets of formidable and interior wisdom”. He stresses he addresses an elite, those who are seeking this necessary interiority to listen to the message of transmission based on esoteric teaching. One can find in this work some of the Kabbalah’s most fascinating ideas: that god existence is only one in the context of the merging of different worlds, the divine, the celestial and terrestrial; that the relationship between god and the world mimics breathing. This reflects to the task of man during his path on earth, not being directed by a cruel creator but that corresponds to the project of unification of these worlds. Naturally, R. Moshe de Leon takes inspiration in the bible text to confirm his ideas and many others. Mishkan ha-‘Edut is dotted with biblical citations, its arguments are built as a biblical commentary, from which is excluded, as if superficial, the spontaneous interpretation. Talmudic rabbi’s affirmations are equally present, as well as the “old”( qadmonim), who are in reality the kabbalists of his time or previous generations

This chapter reviews the range of kabbalistic customs, books, and teachings were promoted by Ezekiel Landau as a result of his kabbalistic orientation. It highlights Landau's view on the Kabbalah as the key to understanding the inner truth of the aggadah, in which he espouses the pedagogic importance of knowing kabbalistic concepts and offers kabbalistic readings of enigmatic agadot. It also examines Landau's kabbalistic worldview that extends beyond the theoretical and affect his opinions and recommendations in the realm of praxis. The chapter recounts the approbation of Moses ben Jekuthiel Zalman's Magid Mishnah as a commentary on the first volume of the Lurianic Mishnat Hasidim. It describes the confused state of Lurianic writings and the tremendous contribution of Moses ben Jekuthiel towards alleviating the problem.

Abstract Mishnah interpretation played a significant role in the formation of Talmudic halakhah. Various types of Mishnah interpretation are found in Talmudic literature: philological interpretation (including lexical interpretation and textual emendation), legal interpretation, and stylistic interpretation. Talmudic approaches to Mishnah interpretation were diverse; thus, individual Mishnaic passages were often interpreted in different ways by different rabbis, and diverse approaches to Mishnah interpretation were frequently adopted by different sages, in different geographical centers and chronological periods. One of the hallmarks of Talmudic Mishnah exegesis is its intertextual and often harmonistic character: the Mishnah is read and interpreted—or, more accurately, reinterpreted—in light of parallel texts and a priori considerations of various sorts. Talmudic interpretations of the Mishnah often reflect its plain, presumably original meaning, but elsewhere the Talmuds’ interpretations are forced and textually difficult to justify, even if the motivation behind such exegesis—usually, resolving real or artificial difficulties with the Mishnaic text— is apparent.

Resumo:
Spatial Disorientation (SD) mishaps account for the greatest loss of lives in both military and civilian aviation worldwide. When no mechanical cause of a mishap is identified, mishap investigators can use flight data recorder information to populate perceptual models with aircraft flight parameters in order to confirm or deny that pilot SD was the probable cause of the mishap. Current perceptual model weaknesses include the inability to analyze hover and hover-transition mishaps and not accounting for sensory inputs from the auditory and somatosensory systems. The authors have conducted in-flight helicopter perceptual threshold studies to extend the model envelop to include hover as well as a series of tactile cueing in-flight studies in fixed-wing aircraft to permit the inclusion of somatosensory information into the model. This expanded model, by including all sensory modalities, now provides a probable solution to prevention of SD mishaps by continuously maintaining spatial orientation via multisensory cueing. Examples of application of the model to recent high-profile mishaps are included.
