Texto completo da fonteIn a paper published in 2003, M.Gromov proposes a rewording of the small cancellation theory in geometric group theory. In this version, a finite graph defines a finitely presented group; generators of the group are the labels of the graph; relators are the words associated with cycles; pieces, "short" words which allow small cancellations in a group, are words which label two distinct paths in the graph.Our thesis relies on a brief description of this theory published in2006 by Y.Ollivier. The concept of finitely presented "small cancellation" group, developed by R.Lyndon, M.Greendlinger and others in the 60's and 70's, is a precursor of Gromovword-hyperbolic groups in the late of the 80's, for which combinatorial properties of the presentation imply algebraic properties of the group. In our work, we build a rigorous small cancellation theory in terms of graphs, and develop the basic concept of "megatiles", implicitly used by Y. Ollivier in his article. We extend his results to non-hyperbolic and non-metric cases (eg. $C(4)-T(4)$). This point of view allows a new proof, more natural, of thesolvability of word and conjugacy problems for presentations of prime alternating link groups. We also extend the results of a M.Greendlinger theorem to thenon-metric case, in response to a question of I. Kapovich

Texto completo da fonteLa première partie fait une analyse des grand réseaux d'interactions et introduit un nouveau modèle de crawls du Web. Elle commence par définir les propriétés communes des réseaux d'interactions, puis donne quelques modèles graphes aléatoires générant des graphes semblables aux réseaux d'interactions. Pour finir, elle propose un nouveau modèle de crawls aléatoires.
La second partie propose deux modèles de calcul de communautés par émergence dans le graphe du Web. Après un rappel sur les mesures d'importances, PageRank et HITS est présenté le modèle gravitationnel dans lequel les nœuds d'un réseau sont mobile et interagissent entre eux grâce aux liens entre eux. Les communautés émergent rapidement au bout de quelques itérations. Le second modèle est une amélioration du premier, les nœuds du réseau sont dotés d'un objectif qui consiste à atteindre sa communautés.

Texto completo da fonteThe goal of this work is to derive a consistent framework for the treatment of contact problems within the Finite Element Method using the Node-to-Segment discretization. Three main components of the computational contact have been considered: geometry, detection and resolution techniques. For the sake of completeness, the mechanical aspects of contact as well as numerous numerical algorithms and methods have been discussed. A new mathematical formalism called "s-structures" has been employed through the entire dissertation. It results in a comprehensive coordinate-free notations and provides an elegant apparatus, available for other mechanical and physical applications. Several original ideas and extensions of standard techniques have been proposed and implemented in the finite element software ZéBuLoN (ZSeT). Numerical case studies, presented in the dissertation, demonstrate the performance and robustness of the employed detection and resolution schemes

Texto completo da fonteFractured rock masses modeling is a challenge issue in many field of industry including but not limited to oiland gas exploitation. In the literature, fractured rock masse are in many cases recognized as double permeability medium in which fracture network provides the primary permeability and rock matrix plays asthe second one. The idea of dissociation of flow inside the fracture network and the matrix, the double permeability, is still challenged for fractured reservoirs. Numerous contributions on this issue have been presented in the past could be cast in two main approaches: continuum media approach and discontinuous approach. Each approach has its advantages and limitations. To overcome the limitation and to take advantage of these two approaches, the Embedded Fractured Continuum Approach (EFCA) which borrows the concept of continuum models and also incorporates the effect of explicit fractures is considered in this thesis. The principal idea of this approach lies on the concept of fracture cell representing a porous medium that has their own properties calculated from the properties of porous matrix and fractures intersecting it.The development in this work was conducted by using the library source code DEAL.II. The accuracy of EFCA was investigated through different verifications. Through some applications: determination of effective hydro-mechanical properties of an actual site, estimation of well production in which necessary fractures are modeled explicitly, we demonstrate the performance of the EFCA in the modeling fracture drock masses as well as the effect of double porosity and double permeability on behaviours of fractured reservoirs
