Fanfiction has a long and varied history in the Star Wars franchise since it began in 1977 with the debut of the first film, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The decade of the 1970s created new possibilities for science fiction multiverses and metanarratives; science fiction became an adaptive film genre that could be reimagined with seemingly infinite narrational results. The myriad of genre films that were released in the mid-to-late 1970s revealed dynamic syntheses with horror (e.g. Alien, Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Close Encounters of the Third Kind), franchises that previously had existed solely on television (Star Trek: The Motion Picture) and musical theatre (The Rocky Horror Picture Show). Cinematic audiences became increasingly accustomed to science fiction tropes and themes in film; audience participation in the theatre (e.g. The Rocky Horror Picture Show) expanded to print zines (often with fanfiction) for multiple franchises as well as fan conventions. Fanfiction’s beginnings as an analogue culture dramatically changed with the advent of the internet and the evolution of fandoms as digital cultures. Web-based platforms such as FanFiction.net and Archive of Our Own (AO3) host sundry fan communities’ creative outputs including podcasts, art and, most frequently, fanfiction stories. The release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015 immediately captured the fandom’s imagination; the animosity and tension between the new villain Kylo Ren (Ben Solo) and protagonist Rey of Jakku particularly fascinated the young adult fans who were lately converted to the Star Wars fandom due to this pairing (known as Reylo within the fandom and within cinematic circles). The newest generations of fans were acclimated to audience participation and paratextual interactions due to their positions as digital natives. The Reylo fan phenomenon particularly erupted into fanfictions as critical data artefacts, even predicting Reylo as a romantic pairing years before the second and third films in the franchise trilogy Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The Reylo pairing is just one example of how online Star Wars fanfiction communities expand audience participation to autonomous collective identity formation. This article examines feminist fanfictions in the Star Wars fandom as gendered critical data artefacts, as collaborative communities of practice, and as counterpublic discourses that apply feminist critiques to conventional gender roles within the most recent film trilogy and the fandom itself.

Naslovnu temu motrit ću s nekoliko međusobno prožetih razina. Prva se može iznaći u sljedećem: znanstvena je ostavština Darka Gašparovića opus umnogome kompleksniji i raznovrsniji od njegove kamovijane, ali ne valja se dati zavarati. Od disertacije (1986.), pa sve do posljednjih Gašparovićevih akademskih pregnuća (priređivanje druge knjige Polićevih „Izabranih djela“ 2016.), Kamov o(p)staje trajnom temom, jednom od neprekinutih niti Gašparovićeva znanstvenog pisma. Ta je višedesetljetna okupiranost djelom „ukletoga pjesnika“ drugi plato s kojega se motri, ali i pravda sentimentalno imenovanje ovoga priloga. Predanost i temeljitost Gašparovićeva pristupa Polićevim spisateljskim ostvarajima oblikovana je kako u najrelevantniju monografsku produkciju o riječkome piscu, tako i u pronicljive članke, eseje, predavanja, u priređivačku brigu oko Kamovljevih sabranih djela, osvrte na teatarske i/ili performerske inačice proizašle iz „hodačeva“ opusa. Treća je, pak, ravan ona koja, za pretpostaviti je, čini temeljno kohezivno tkivo prvih dviju razina, a ta je ravan strastvenog zagovarača, ljubitelja i čitatelja riječkoga „psovača“.

Jakkur lake is one of the biggest lakes of Bangalore and is located on the northern side of the city. It derives its name from the name of the locality, Jakkur. The waterbody area is about 160 acres and length is about 1.5 km with several islands. Because of urbanization and increase in population, the catchment location is highly encroached. The amount of the stormwater achieving the lake has decreased making the streams dry. Remote sensing is a tool used for monitoring water bodies to present better spatial and temporal resolution. Remote sensing is also used for continuous monitoring and assessment of water bodies. Landsat-8 OLI and Sentinel-2 are recently launched multispectral sensors that have the potential to be used for the effective monitoring of the Jakkur Lake's water quality. Landsat-8 OLI and Sentinel-2 are similar in many approaches. Sentinel-2, however, has higher spatial resolution. The aim of this research was to find out if Sentinel-2 produces better results than Landsat-8 OLI in testing water quality parameters in the Jakkur lake. The parameters of interest were chlorophyll_a and turbidity. The results show that Sentinel-2 generates better results. For Sentinel-2, the R2 values for chlorophyll_a and turbidity were 0.975 and 0.845 respectively whilst for Landsat-8, the chlorophyll_a and turbidity R2 values were 0.911 and 0.747 respectively.

According to Yusuf Qardhawi, the concept of wages is that wages are determined based on an agreement between both parties. The wages given must be commensurate with the work and the workers' needs so that they can live a decent life in society. The aim of this research is to identify the relevance of the wage concept offered by Yusuf Qardhawi to the implementation of wages for Jasku Pamekasan online motorcycle taxi drivers. This research uses qualitative research, where the data is obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. The data obtained is used as material that is relevant to Yusuf Qhardawi's thinking. The results of this research explain that Jasku owners apply the concept of wages from Yusuf Qardhawi's perspective, namely the concept of fair and honest wages. Jasku's wage system uses a profit sharing system. The owner of Jasku announces the wage system in advance before work begins. The more diligent and active they are in their work, the more wages they will get.

The aim of this project is to study the nitrate levels of the treated water flowing into Jakkur Lake in Bangalore, from the treatment plant situated at the inlet to the lake, and thereby evaluate the function of the lake as for secondary and tertiary wastewater treatment as well as an infiltration basin. Obtained nitrate levels are used as indicators to study the wastewater flow in the lake, and to find other possible inflows of sewage which can affect the lakes’ total treatment efficiency. A literature study is done on wetlands and on groundwater recharge through infiltration basins, and the possibility of recharging groundwater below Jakkur Lake is evaluated. Water samples are collected around and in the lake and the samples are tested for nitrate, pH and total dissolved solids. Extra focus is put on research on nitrates in water.The risks of groundwater recharge in Jakkur Lake include pollution of wells by bacteria, viruses, parasites and traces of medicine. Further geotechnical investigations need to be pursued mainly on the soil structure under and around the lake, and studies need to be performed on the retention time of the water in the lake. The technical limitations such as fluctuations in efficiency and pollutant migration must be minimized, which initially could be done by building a constructed wetland and controlling the inflow to the lake.

Purpose of engaged task is elaborate a functional mechanism to emergency brake for escalators company Otis. To this purpose is gradually reached up in several phases. In primary phase was taken view on similar products from competitive company and do not get in conflict with patent right, in second phase was needed delimitate working space for brake and exact specification of straining. In next steps the proposal and test phase is blending together. In this moment emergency brake has own shape and first tests are showing the functions, but as well necessity modification of same elements on brake and on escalator.

Despite years of deepening economic integration among the states and regions of the European Union, empirical research remains inconclusive about speed of convergence across regions, if not its existence. This thesis provides novel evidence on convergence in the EU while focusing on development at regional level after the Great Recession. It uses recently developed log t convergence test by Phillips and Sul (2007). Our findings speak against the convergence in level of income per capita among the European regions and give us five clubs of regions converging in their income growth rates instead. Investigating further the geographical distribution of the convergence clubs, we confirm high inequality within the member states and find large continuous area of high convergence clubs in the urbanized part of Western Europe. Furthermore, we investigated the determinants of convergence club membership using Logistic Regression. The main explanatory variable of interest were Business Services (BS), a dynamic sector of the economy with presumably strong positive effect on regional innovative potential. We found positive effect of BS on membership in higher convergence clubs. Yet, this effect seems to diminish for the very highest club.

The main goal of this thesis is to capture the diversity of perceptions of housing estates from the perspective of their population and from the outsiders' perspective. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the image of housing estates and their positives and negatives. In the theoretical framework, also the studies of image of housing estates from selected foreign countries are presented. The second empirical part is based on the analysis of semi-structured interviews conducted with 50 residents of 10 housing estates in Prague and the results of focus group, which was conducted with 10 geography students who were generally familiar with the reputations of studied housing estates. These two research phases aimed to reveal, if the housing estates are perceived negatively as a place to live. And if so, whether they are perceived negatively by their inhabitants, or by people who live in other parts of Prague. Next taks of the analysis was to find out what is the main problem of Prague's housing estates and, on the contrary, what are their positives. In the conclusion, the thesis sums up, that despite the prevailing negative image of the housing estates, in the eyes of their inhabitants, the are perceived rather agreeable and many positive elements can be found. Anna Hejmová Theatrical activities as a part of the projects of Workers Sports Clubs in the First Republic Summary The thesis represents a comprehensive insight into the current theater historiography's neglected phenomenon of working-class theatre in the epoch of the First Czechoslovak Republic. This thesis focuses on social networks and the role they play in the lives of teenagers. My aim was to provide insight into teenagers' worlds on Facebook and Instagram. The first part provides a theoretical basis for my research and summarizes foreign research on this topic. The second part describes the research methodology that has been performed in this thesis, in addition to the sample who participated in this research. Finally the results of this research are compared with research of foreign authors. The main research question was "What are the motivations of teenagers to use social networks and how do teenagers represent themselves in these surroundings?" The next research questions focused on privacy concerns and whether teenagers take their own safety into consideration when using Facebook and Instagram. My research demonstrates that electronic social networks are primarily used by teenagers as a means of maintaining contact with their peer group rather than making new social connections. Though social networks such as Facebook and Instagram play a primary role in teenagers' social interactions, there are many privacy risks that are not easily accessible to teenagers and present long-term challenges for their electronic presence. Ovaj rad, iz perspektive kulturalnih studija, analizira grafičku novelu Alana Moorea Pakao koja oživljava priču o Jacku Rasparaču, rekonstruira povijesno razdoblje i nudi uvid u društveno-kulturni kontekst medijskog događaja. Točnije, izuzima dijelove novele koji se odnose na prikaz medijskog odjeka nerazriješenih ubojstava, unutar kojih se nude određena objašnjenja ili narativi koji pokušavaju uskladiti indicije, a na primjerima kojih možemo pratiti mehanizam razvijanja lažne vijesti. Proučavajući taj segment problema, u radu je analizirana lažna vijest (fake news) na strukturnoj i narativnoj razini, da bi se zatim uočeni obrasci nastajanja lažne priče povezali s obrascima odgovarajućih društvenih i kulturnih procesa. Važnost ovog konkretnog slučaja iz 19.st. krije se u činjenici da se radi vjerojatno o prvom masovnom slučaju kreiranja spektakla u medijima. A doprinos samog rada ide u smjeru skretanja pažnje na strukturu lažnih vijesti, umjesto njihova otpisivanja, kako bi nam ta struktura ukazala na pripadajuće društvene procese.

Institutional approaches to regional development are based on the idea that it is public institutions that create the institutional framework for the quality development of the region. Individual directions then try to identify the key actors who will become the main moderator / facilitator of the development of the region. The Triple Helix theory, as such a key development actor, defines a local university. He attributes to it the so-called "third role", where, in addition to research and teaching, it is the university that takes over the facilitation of further development of the region. In the Czech Republic, the third role of universities is supported at the state level, and individual regional universities are motivated to accept this role. But the approaches are quite different. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the approaches of selected regional universities in the Czech Republic to their "third role" in regional development over the past five years. The strategic objectives of universities in the area of their regional engagement and implemented activities in five areas (1) science for the public, (2) promotion of scientific literacy, (3) community outreach, (4) civic engagement, and (5) social entrepreneurship were analyzed for the period 2016-2020. The analysis showed that the regional involvement of universities in the Czech Republic is very limited and focuses mainly on the areas of support for scientific literacy and civic engagement.

Jakmile se vzdělání konkrétního studenta hodnotí na základě písemného projevu, musí být zřejmé, jakou použil podporu pro získání informací. Je práce jeho vlastní? Získaná data převedl na informace, které dokáže interpretovat. Využil práci jiné osoby? Uvede jméno osoby a dokumenty, z nichž cituje nebo parafrázuje informace? Využil umělou inteligenci? Kterou? Umí použitá umělá inteligence vytvářet systémy a vazby vně a uvnitř? Dokáže umělá informace dokumentovat ekonomickou realitu a záznamy logicky, metodicky zpracovat, vyhodnotit a komentovat? Musí vyhodnocení, interpretaci a závěry provést člověk? Dokáže člověk ověřit, že závěry umělé inteligence jsou správné? Pokud umělá inteligence ověřuje umělou inteligenci, dá se umělé inteligenci důvěřovat? Lze umělou inteligenci vědomě či nevědomě zneužít? Příspěvek hledá odpovědi na výše položené otázky.

Resumo:
Kako bi osiguravajuća društva bila u mogućnosti podmiriti obveze iz osiguranja, odnosno isplatiti štetu svojim osiguranicima, potrebno je da njihovo poslovanje bude profitabilno. Stoga u ovom radu autori istražuju utjecaj kanala distribucije na profitabilnost osiguravajućih društava u Republici Hrvatskoj u razdoblju od 2014. do 2017. godine. Pomoću modela linearne regresije i Pearsonovog koeficijenta korelacije izražena je jačina međuovisnosti između analiziranih varijabli. Prema udjelima pojedinih distribucijskih kanala osiguravajućih društava vodeću poziciju zauzimaju interni prodajni alati, a na drugom i trećem mjestu su agencije i banko kanal distribucije koji predstavlja veliki udio životnih osiguranja. Kod životnih osiguranja izražena je jača povezanost banko kanala prodaje, dok kod neživotnih osiguranja jaku vezu pokazuju interni kanal distribucije te agencijski kanal distribucije koji zauzimaju najveći dio te time utječu na odnos bruto premije poduzeća.
