As medical technology continues its advance, the use of organ transplantation for the palliation and cure of chronic diseases is rising. However, many barriers to organ donation exist, including religious ones. It has long been known that Muslims in North America tend not to donate organs. In the past this tendency has been attributed to religious prohibitions even though cultural views may also play a strong role. The purpose of this article is to explore and define the Islamic religious opinion on organ donation and transplantation to enhance healthcare professionals' understanding of Islamic views concerning brain death and organ donation. It is hoped that this knowledge and understanding may benefit both patients and caregivers in the North American healthcare setting.

Gender equality is a phenomenon that is echoed by some audiences, ranging from academics, activists to politicians or public officials. Even though this discourse has been around for a long time, this discussion of gender has always been present at all times with various new discussions as well as old ones that have been updated. So whether you realize it or not, women and the issue of gender equality have recently become very interesting and lively for discussion, especially when it is related to Islamic discourse, where women in Islamic history did have an important position in various social, cultural, and social changes. economy, and even politics in this country. On this occasion, the author conducted a comparative analysis of the gender approach in Islamic studies by focusing on the discussion on the implementation of gender in society by searching books (research libraries) related to this discussion. Comparative analysis technique is a technique used to compare events that occurred when researchers analyzed these events and carried them out continuously throughout the research. Gender is used to identify differences between men and women from a socio-cultural perspective. While sex is used to identify differences between men and women in terms of biological anatomy. In addition, the relationship between women and men in Islam can in principle be called synonymous with talking about the equal partnership of men and women. Because in Islam in principle the relationship between the two sexes is equal before Allah (khaliq).

The development of e-commerce continues to increase from year to year following the development of information and communication technology. E-commerce has had a significant impact on various sectors. E-commerce can reduce the flow of human traffic but increase the flow of goods traffic. In the modern era, humans have felt comfortable with this e-commerce. Just by being at home, various types of needs can be ordered through an online application and the items needed arrive at the buyer's house. For companies, e-commerce can improve efficiency and productivity. For the community, e-commerce can help increase economic growth and business opportunities. But at the same time, it poses challenges and problems in terms of security and trust. And is e-commerce not against Islamic law? This study examines how Islamic fiqh views e-commerce or online shop businesses whose data is obtained from related journals in 2012 – 2022. The method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The SLR method is used to identify, review, evaluate, and interpret all available research with topic areas of interest to phenomena, with specific relevant research questions. The result is e-commerce is identical to the as-salam trade (buying and selling in fiqh muamalah), namely the purchase of goods received after payment is made up front in cash and is considered to meet the requirements of as-salaam.

This study aims to describe the contestation of conservative Islam and liberal Islam in its views on women's leadership in Indonesia. The data in this study were taken from documents through a review of literature studies with a phenomenological approach. The document is in the form of books, journals, and data on women's leadership. Data is processed through three stages; reviewing the content of the document, describing systematically and objectively, narrating the comparisons found. This study found that there are three aspects that are different views between conservative Islam and liberal Islam regarding women's leadership in Indonesia, namely aspects of legality, capacity, and nature of association. There is no absolute justification for the two groups, as both have strong arguments about their respective views on women's leadership in Islam.

The article represents the views of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini (1902–1989), the leader of the Islamic revolution in Iran, on Islam as the basis of the political system. Imam Khomeini believed that Islam should not be considered only as a set of prescriptions or as a kind of philosophical system. In his work “Vilayat-i fakih. Hokumat-i Islami ” (“Islamic Government: Governance of the Jurist”) Khomeini substantiates the need for the formation of a state based on Sharia law. The ideas of the Ayatollah were not completely new to Shii political doctrine. The olitical views of Ayatollah Khomeini formed under a great infl uence of a situation in Iran in the XX cent. The author analyzes the Khomeini’s views on politics and his concept of “vilayat-i fakih”. From Ayatollah Khomeini’s point of view, we can’t imagine Islam apart from politics, otherwise Islam will be incomplete. Personal self-improvement also depends on the fullness of religion, and therefore Muslims need an Islamic state to fully keep the Sharia law. The analysis of the views of Imam Khomeini is based on the original treatise in Persian.

The emergence of Islamic viewpoints on economic issues under the umbrella of Islamic economics has captivated much interest especially in its practical manifestation in Islamic banking and finance. In light of the failure of mainstream economics to address many pressing issues, and hence the need for alternative views, this paper offers assessments of Islamic economics whether (i) it is relevant to this need, (ii) it has progressed to the extent that it has been made to become relevant, and (iii) it is also in need of reform. While I argue that Islamic economics is relevant, it falls short of expectations on the second issue. The major reasons being: (a) the lack of progress in Islamic economics theory, (b) the similarity of Islamic economic practices in the forms of Islamic finance to conventional finance, and (c) its limited ability thus far to embrace multi-perspective views. On the basis of these, I conclude that Islamic economics is also in need of reform.

This article focuses on the narrative of the polygamy issue on four Indonesian Islamic websites: portal-islam.id, nu.or.id, rumaysho.com, and muslim.or.id. They are selected based on ranking and visitation by referring to the results of processing data on similarweb. Deploying a content analysis approach, this article looks at the extent to which moderate and conservative school websites display the legal narrative of polygamy on their platforms. This research shows that there is a reasonably intense contestation between conservative and moderate perspectives on Islamic websites on the issue of polygamy. Both use the excuse of protecting women as the fundamental argument. Moderate Islamic website such as nu.or.id criticizes conservative understanding but also shows some views that align with traditional schools. The conservative Islamic websites: portal-islam.id, rumaysho.com, and muslim.or.id mostly stand firmly on the traditional argument, polygamy means protecting women. I argue that in this position, the moderate and the conservative Islamic websites, at the top of the rankings do not significantly impact the progressivity of the polygamy legal discourse movement in the digital discourse.[Artikel ini berfokus pada narasi isu poligami di empat situs web Islami Indonesia: portal-islam.id, nu.or.id, rumaysho.com, dan muslim.or.id.

Islamic philosophy, Sufism, Islamic jurisprudence and Javanese traditions have their views on women. Some regard women as subordinate to men, some groups position women as equal to men, and others accept women as male leaders. This study aims to analyse the views of Islamic philosophy, Sufism, Islamic jurisprudence and Javanese traditions on women. This study is a literature review using qualitative methods. The data source was taken from the literature using primary sources as the main reference. The results indicated that Islamic philosophy represented by al-Fârâbî (870-950) and Sufism by Ibn Arabi (1165-1240) placed women in an equal position with men. Nevertheless, Islamic jurisprudence studies tend to place women below men. Meanwhile, the Javanese tradition encapsulates both views. On the one hand, the Javanese tradition places women as an important part of men, but on the other hand, it places women as men's assets. However, the Javanese tradition can accept women's leadership over men. Regarding this, this study recommends that Islamic philosophy and Sufism's perspectives on women should be socialized more to strengthen a balanced view of the relationship between women and men.

Interactions between Latin Europeans and the Islamic world during the medievalperiod have received great attention in numerous scholarly studies. Thefocus of such works often consists of an attempt to delineate the constructionof identities and the extent to which they were utilized to mark out an “other.”By contrast, one of König’s most important conclusions demonstrates that formedieval Arab-Islamic scholars writing about the Latin West, these Latin Christiansocieties “were often simply regarded as alternative manifestations ofhuman life and its social and political organisation” (pp. 327-28).This is primarily a historiographical investigation with a macro-historicalapproach. König analyzes material spanning the early Islamic period (the seventhcentury) to the later medieval period (the fifteenth century) and covers arange of genres. It could be said that such an approach fails to critically analyzethe motivations of individual Muslim authors, something that the author doesacknowledge in his preface. However, such analyses lie beyond the scope ofthe project at hand. Furthermore, a macro-historical approach is necessary forchallenging previous scholarship on the subject. Bernard Lewis asserted thatthe Latin West was perceived as a united barbaric monolith, one viewed at bestwith disinterest in the minds of Muslim writers – a view that continues to influencescholarship to this day ...

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to assess orthodox theories of well-being in western civilization at first, and second, to investigate Islamic views regarding this concept. Then, comparing these two groups of views, it tries to show that there is a kind of convergence between them that it provides a common point for political aspect of well-being. Design/methodology/approach – To investigate this convergence, orthodox theories of well-being were analyzed critically and Islamic views were revealed. Both orthodox theories and Islamic views of well-being were discussed theoretically (not practically) via descriptive-analytical method and based on a philosophical approach. Since the problem that this paper is going to involve and resolve is conceptual (concept and nature of human well-being and finding a common point among different theories), so the proper method will be the descriptive-analytical and dialectic discussion. Findings – This paper found that, despite some similarities between orthodox theories and Islamic views of well-being, the most important difference between Avicenna and hedonistic view is his approach to the concept of enjoyment and his spreading of the meaning of it. Molla Sadra’s approach to well-being is close to the objective list theories of well-being – particularly that of Sen’s and Nussbaum’s. It is concluded that there is a convergence in theories based on movement from instrumental reason to the intellect in specification and investigation of people’s well-being and its elements. Social implications – There is a kind of convergence, so that we can achieve a common point which could be the base for policy making in national and international level to solve problems arising from complexity, ambiguity and boring and dismal disagreements regarding this concept which is an important obstacle in front of the policy makers. Moreover, moving from instrumental reason to the intellect and considering ethical virtues in people’s well-being could be helpful in removing some social problems such as conflicts between labor and employers and financial crises. Originality/value – Description and calcification theories of well-being especially for economists that they are very far from these subjects and introducing of Islamic views via philosophical approach is absolutely original in this paper. Moreover, paper attempts to show the convergence in orthodox theories and between orthodox and Islamic views in which it provides a common point for practical aspect of well-being.

The tradition of Kemalist secularism (laiklik) in Turkey is often cited to distinguish Turkey as an exceptional case among predominantly Muslim countries. While it is true that the Turkish Constitution, laws, and legal opinions approach the relationship between the state and religion very differently than those of Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, or even Indonesia, it would be wrong to underestimate the role that religion plays in the formation of Turkish legal norms, including citizen understanding of those norms. There is a wealth of literature describing the nature of Turkish secularism and its evolution. A number of both quantitative and qualitative studies inquire about the preference forShari'aamong Turkish voters. The typical question asks whether respondents favor the establishment of aShari'astate. Over the past fifteen years, these surveys have received response rates ranging between five and twenty-five percent in favor of such a state. However, these results are extremely problematic, because they do not provide any context or meaning for “the establishment of aShari'astate,” either for those who favor it or for those who oppose it. This study begins to unpack the range of possible meanings attributed toShari'awithin Turkey, both among voters and among intellectuals, as a framework for future empirical studies and as a basis for deeper understandings of the role of Islam within Turkish law and politics.

AbstractIslamic banks create an interest in their own right as a rising branch in financial intermediation, particularly in the post-crisis era. In addition, they also deserve the attention of students of Islamism due to their possible connection with Islamic movements. Through a comparison of Islamic and conventional banking, we analyze the motivations and behavior of Islamic economic actors who determine the cash flow to Islamic banks. Our findings suggest that, in contrast to popular views that portray these actors as ideologues or financiers of radical Islam, they have pragmatic motivations and may adapt to liberal systems in order to seize economic incentives.

Discourses on Islamic feminism are traced back to the 1980s but within three decades, it has spread globally and attracted many Muslim scholars from all over the world. However, since its inception, Islamic feminism has remained controversial, due to its term, agenda and stance on several issues on women, which are never accepted by several eminent Islamic scholars of contemporary times. This article discusses the views of Islamic feminists—the renowned scholar Amina Wadud, and the strong advocate, Margot Badran — and contemporary Islamic scholars—ʿAllama Yūsuf al-Qaraḍāwī and Jamāl Badawī. Both the Islamic feminists and Islamic scholars are shown to ‘share’ their views on certain issues, somehow ‘bear’ each other on some others with some difference, yet ‘tear’ the views of each other on certain others due to diametrical differences. This raised a few questions on Islamic feminism which fully expose that the term ‘Islamic feminism’ has less of Islam but more of feminism and that it is not created to present the Islamic stand on women’s issues, but rather to promote feminism globally.

This study aims to analyze the views of Islamic academics, especially the professors of the State Islamic University in Indonesia (Muhammad Amin Suma, Musdah Mulia, M. This study uses a descriptive normative and legal literature review approach, namely a description of the current situation regarding the views of academics in Islamic legal research. This research leads to the conclusion that the formation of the Islamic Law Compilation is responsible and consistent. Reorientation of Islamic Family Law is a necessity for a pluralistic Indonesian society and is constantly developing. Compilation of modern Islamic law and maintaining Indonesian culture with dignity becomes an integrated and interconnective Madani KHI between classical KHI, CLD-KHI, and RUU-HMPA. When this happens, the taqninization (Islamization) of national law will be realized.

As Muslim scholarship generally treated with the issues relating to rebellion in the manuals of creed, Western scholars and many modern Muslim scholars generally overlooked them. Moreover, when some of them focused on manuals of law-proper where the rules for regulating the conduct of hostilities during rebellion are elaborated, they pick and choose between the views of the jurists belonging to various schools presuming that jurists of various schools followed a common legal theory. The present paper after critically evaluating the methodology of these scholars concludes that every school of law represents a distinct and internally coherent legal theory and as scuh mixing the views of the various schools leads to analytical inconsistency. Hence, it suggests that scholars woking on the legality of rebellion from the perspective of Islamic law should focus on proper legal sources and should adopt a principle-based approach instead of mixing the views of the various schools which are founded on different, sometimes, conficting legal principles.

Societies and cultures influence students' understandings of the nature of science (NOS). An approach to promote an accurate understanding of the nature of science is to manage the learning based on students' contexts through the integration of their social, cultural, and religious stories. Hence, this study investigated the pedagogical effects of Islamic scientist history on seventh graders' understandings of the nature of science in an Islamic private school, Yala Province, Thailand. Through a mixed-methods convergent design, data were collected from 30 seventh graders in an Islamic private school of Yala who were selected through a convenience sampling. The instruments were 1) a NOS questionnaire and 2) a semi-structured interview on the understanding of the nature of science. The quantitative data were statistically analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and a dependent t-test. The qualitative data were analyzed through content analysis and categorized into three groups based on the views of the nature of science: informed views (IV), transitional views (TV), and naive views (NV). Results revealed that the students who learned from the history of Islamic scientists had gained higher mean scores on the understanding of the nature of science at the .05 significance level and transformed their views from transitional (TV) and naive (NV) to informed (IV) in every aspect of the nature of science. This can be summarized that applying the history of Islamic scientists with the explicit reflective NOS teaching is practical in Islamic private school. To make this change happen in the unique school context, science teachers must devote time to analyzing the NOS hidden in the history of Islamic scientists. In addition, another Islamic context, such as local Islamic wisdom, could also promote the understanding of the NOS for students in private Islamic schools.

The social, cultural, and technological developments of society are unavoidable. This has an impact on the development of Islamic Law, which keeps all Muslim activities in the right corridor. Contemporary Islamic law, known as Contemporary Islamic Law, has also developed to answer new societal problems. Various views on Contemporary Islamic Law in solving multiple issues certainly reap various responses from the community and scholars. These views are often conveyed through social media such as Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Therefore, this article aims to discuss a preliminary study of text analysis techniques used to find out the views of the community and Ulama on Contemporary Islamic Law issues computationally and automatically. This initial study reviews the methods and techniques that will be used, namely the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) methodology for data science. This study will also use a sentiment analysis approach, topic modeling, and pattern analysis to find out people's views on issues of Contemporary Islamic Law through social media. The algorithm used for sentiment analysis is the Multinomial Naïve Bayes Classifier (MNBC), for topic modeling is Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), while for pattern analysis using the Prefix-projected Sequential Pattern Mining (PrefixSpan) algorithm. The model generated from sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and pattern analysis will be evaluated by measuring the confusion matrix, coherence value, and silhouette coefficient value. In addition, analysis and interpretation of the model results will be carried out in-depth qualitatively by involving the views and thoughts of Islamic Law experts.

This paper provides insight into senior secondary learners’ views on Islamic Studies (IS) in three large Australian Islamic schools. This study offers a ‘dialogic alternative’ of ‘speaking with’ rather than ‘speaking for’ learners in Islamic educational research, planning, and renewal within K-12 Islamic schools. The study privileges learners’ voice and enables an insight to their experience with one of the most important features of Islamic schools—Islamic Studies. Using phenomenology as a methodological framework, learner voice was elicited through focus groups where 75 learners (years 10, 11, and 12) provided information describing their experience with Islamic Studies. Thematic content analysis of the textual data suggests that learners’ dissatisfaction far outweighs their satisfaction with Islamic Studies. The findings of this paper can benefit Islamic schools in Australia and other Western contexts.

Differences in views in the first precepts of the Pancasila version of the Jakarta Charter of 22 June 1945 became a genealogical factor that caused some Islamic groups to struggle relentlessly in realizing Islam as the basis of the philosophy and ideology of the state. Part of these groups' movements is compromise and radicalism. Therefore, this research aims to examine non-mainstream Islamic movements in the Indonesian political system. The phenomenological constructivism approach is used in understanding the views of the New Order and the Reform regimes in dealing with non-mainstream Islamic movements, through interview techniques and document analysis. These results showed that radical issues far exceed the normal level of Islamic movements in Indonesia. Furthermore, there is concern that certain groups oriented towards Islamic movements in Indonesia are more co-opted in the anti-Islamic global network sponsored by the United States and the West. The status of the New Order and Reform Regimes did not differ significantly in addressing various state issues related to the Islamic movement. For both regimes, non-mainstream Islamic movements should be strictly controlled. The most effective political instruments to control Islamic nationalist groups whose views differ from secular nationalist in terms of Pancasila as the state ideology are radical issues and terrorism.

Even during the first establishment of the Republic (with the expression of Balaban), "the science of spirituality (=psychology) that talks about the spiritual existence of man" has always been interesting by the writers of that period. Especially since the 1940s, in some scientific, moral, religious and literary journals published in Turkey, the views of Western psychologists such as Carl Gustav Jung, who are famous in the psychology of religion, were explained. In this research, it has been tried to analyze how C. G. Jung and his views are handled in these journals. The journals discussed in the research are as follows: "Sebilürreşad", "Muslim Voice", "Tawhid", "New Ground", "Orbit", "Academy", "Young", "Cultural World", "Monthly" and "Kur'ani Hayat”. In our research, the approach to Jung and his views in these examined journals was investigated and some results were obtained. Accordingly, Jung has a positive phenomenon accepted by the Islamic community, as some Islamic journals acknowledge that Jung is different from their peers”. All Islamic journals used Jung. Although some criticize Jung to strengthen their own claims by pointing to Jung's authority, he used Jung to "guide his target audience" because he considered it closer to Islamic understanding than his Western counterparts. Islamic journals never used Jung's concepts of "persona", "anima-animus" and "self" in their articles. But they gave a lot of place to Jung's concepts such as "religion", "God", "archetype" and "collective unconscious". Especially since they see the concept of “collective unconscious” as an Islamic value, they have embraced it more. Islamic journals acknowledge Jung as the "authority". While this "authority" is the "strengthener" of its own claims based on some Islamic journals, it is a "model" for some Islamic journals whose aspects should be taken in accordance with their worldview. It is clear that Islamic journals do not have a scientific style and purpose when using Jung. It was concluded that Islamic journals approached Jung's concepts in the form of "ethnocentric" and "circular reasoning". It has emerged that Islamic journals that act with the logic of "Take what works and leave what does not work" and those who defend Islamic psychology are similar to the logic of "take the positive side of the West that fits the Islamic perspective" to Jung and his views. Key Words: Islamic Journals, Carl Gustav Jung, Jung's Views, The Jungian Phenomenon, The Collective Unconscious, Document Analysis.

Analytical statistical procedures were applied to test the hypotheses. The results emphasized the importance of administration, Zakat funds, creditors, and suppliers in addressing financial bankruptcy. The management of Zakat in addressing the financial bankruptcy occupied the highest importance, i.e. 88%. However, lowest relative importance (46%) was achieved by commitment of funds debtors to collect Zakat and distribution in the treatment of financial bankruptcy. The time and opportunity granted by the creditors to individuals and enterprises during bankruptcy hold much importance. The study has recommended establishment of a system derived from Sharia to overcome the financial difficulties.

This paper discusses Islamic teaching practices and perceptions of mosque stake-<br />holders concerning the ideological issues of: a democratic system of government<br />versus formal implementation of Islamic sharia; gender equality; jihad, and plu-<br />ralism in the Jakarta office mosques. After describing the research findings, the<br />paper concludes that the phenomenon of neo-fundamentalism (in Olivier Roy’s<br />words) is growing and developing in office mosques. This can be seen in the<br />dominance of literal and scripturalist Islamic interpretations, the importance given<br />to implementing Islamic sharia and the rejection of democracy, a hatred of Jews<br />and Christians and the emergence of Muslim youth actors in Islamic neo-fundamentalism. Other findings concern the influence of the Tarbiyah movement, an<br />offshoot of the Ikhwanul Muslimin (Muslim Brotherhood), which is being felt in<br />the office mosques studied. Learning about Islamist understandings will allow us<br />to check its development, which may destroy the friendly, peaceful face of Islam.<br />Paper ini mendiskusikan praktik pengajaran Islam dan persepsi pemangku<br />kepentingan masjid berkaitan dengan isu-isu ideologis: sebuah sistem<br />pemerintahan demokratik versus implementasi formal syari’at Islam; kesetaraan<br />jender; jihad, dan pluralism di masjid perkantoran Jakarta. This paper used a descriptive-analysis method with reference to the works of Harun Nasution and H.M. Rasjidi as primary data. Then, the data is compared by referring to supporting references to analyze their views further. This paper shows two conclusions according to the focus of this paper. First, H.M. Rasjidi considers that Islamic mysticism is not in accordance with Islamic teachings, because it emphasizes the aspects of influence from outside Islam. While, Harun Nasution viewed mysticism as an important aspect of Islam, because it was considered to have a strong source from the al-Qur’ân dan Ḥadîth. Second, Harun Nasution views that al-ittiḥâd is the main goal of Islamic mysticism which philosophically describes the bond of servants to God. While, H.M. Rasjidi rejects the concept of al-ittiḥâd and is deemed deviating from Islamic teachings because it is considered to equate God with beings.

The vast number of Muslim consumers in Malaysia, which accounts for 63.5% of the total Malaysian population, offers a vast market segment to food producers—the food producers employ various marketing strategies to compete in the market. Among the strategies employed is the use of Islamic attributes in marketing activities. Food product marketers used Islamic attributes such as Muslim names, pictures, emblems, Quranic verses, and Hadith in their marketing campaigns. The free use of the Islamic attributes has drawn attention to knowing the Islamic perspective of the use. Through in-depth interviews, this research paper aimed to reveal the views of 7 Shariah experts in a rich and contextualized account of using Islamic attributes in food product marketing. The experts were selected through purposive and snowball sampling methods. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data, which resulted in the emergence of six themes in this study. These themes include (1) protection of Islamic honor and dignity, (2) prohibition of using Islam for personal gain, (3) prohibition of unjust practices, (4) prohibition of superstitious or syirik acts, (5) promotion of good business practices, and (6) promotion of a healthy diet, revealing the Islamic perspective on its use. Some crucial questions have been raised in recent decades about proper Islamic education: its aim, underlying philosophy and assumptions, value system, and the most profound question is how to integrate the dualistic and contradictory systems of education to solve the problem of dualism or bifurcation faced by the Ummah in this present day. Some Muslim scholars suggest that the pre-requisites of being excellent in this world and the hereafter are going back to al-Quran and al-Sunnah. Unfortunately, the views of the Islamic scholars on Islamic education have been neglected due to the domination of western elements and modern ideas. Therefore, it is a great need for us to examine the previous Muslim philosophers’ views and contributions. To discuss the Muslim philosopher’s view of education, Ibn Sina’s concepts and ideas concerning education derived from some philosophical and epistemological domains have been analyzed. Extensive documentary analysis was made for this purpose, while previous literature of Ibnu Sina’s was referred to. A ‘biographical’ works were done, which refers to a work that draws on whatever materials are available to Ibnu Sina’s to represent an account of his life and achievements. Narrative analysis is used to elicit results, and a comparative analysis of this philosopher with Western thinkers such as Aristotle and John Dewey also ensued. It is hoped that this would explain Ibn Sina’s genuineness in developing knowledge in accordance with al-Quran and al-Sunnah and his contribution to the contemporary educational system.

This is the philosophical view of Sir Muhammad Iqbal and the modernist view of Fazlur Rahman in his thoughts on Islamic education. This is a descriptive qualitative research that describes the philosophical and Modernist views of Islamic education according to Iqbal and Fazlur Rahman. The results of the study, that the philosophical and modernist views of the two main ideas about Islamic education, are how to create Insan Kamil (perfect humans). Insan Kamil must be the main goal and primary education. According to Iqbal, there are eight main ideas to reconstruct Islamic education philosophically by increasing human dynamics and creativity. This article aims to analyze the relevance of Monzer Kahf's view of Islamic banking to the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia, with a particular focus on Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). Although Islamic banking has grown rapidly in Indonesia, there are still challenges in understanding the factors that influence its success and how these banks can serve the community more effectively. To achieve this goal, the method used is library research, which aims to collect some information obtained through books, journals and online media that have relevance to the topic with Monzer Kahf's Islamic banking thinking and secondary data on the development of Bank Syariah Indonesia. The results of the analysis show that some of the key factors identified by Monzer Kahf, such as increasing the form of deposits, improving the quality of customer service, expanding the banking service base, capital protection, and providing social and humanitarian services, are very relevant in the context of the development of Islamic banks in Indonesia. Bank Syariah Indonesia, as the largest Islamic bank in Indonesia, plays an important role in driving the country's economic growth. In addition, the bank is also expected to improve its social services to the community through various aspects, including education, health, environment and renewable energy. In conclusion, Monzer Kahf's views on Islamic banking are highly relevant to the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia.

The main problem in this study discusses "Islamic Views Against Islamophobia" divided into two sub-problems, namely: 1) What is meant by Islamophobia; 2) What is the attitude of Islam towards Islamophobia. This study aims to look at Islamophobia, Islamic attitudes towards Islamophobia, and provide views of students of the Study of Religions regarding Islamic views on Islamophobia. In this research, a descriptive approach is used to provide accurate and factual descriptions and descriptions of properties, facts, relationships, views, activities, attitudes, processes, and how phenomena can impact them. Library research collects data and information from the library to be used as a basis for research. In addition, this research was conducted through a historical approach; the aim of this approach is to trace how certain ideas arose and developed over a period of time. The findings obtained from this study are that in the Islamic view, Islamophobia occurs through immoral acts by caring for Muslims. Even though Islam itself forbids mutual respect for all religions and beliefs, so there is no place for hate or hatred towards Muslims. Islam also emphasizes the importance of calm, safety and prosperity among human beings, regardless of religion, race or culture. The results of this study are that Islamophobia occurs because of a bad attitude towards Islam, the culprit could be through people who are non-Muslims and people who are Muslims themselves. Views about Islam which are considered to tend to be oppressive and tend to be violent in spreading terror. Therefore, views about Islam can be conveyed more optimally through various available facilities such as through the mass media. Efforts to introduce beauty, values of tolerance, love, brotherhood and Islamic compatibility with today's developments have become easier to do.
