Stained glass has attracted the attention of art critics and scientists for centuries. Stained glass art plays a special artistic role in decorating windows, doors, and ceilings. In addition to the traditional use of stained glass windows, they are used in the design of modern interiors. Although stained-glass windows are not a common design solution in interior design, they are increasingly used for their individualization in modern decoration. In the process of researching decorative decoration of modern interiors with the use of stained glass, new techniques and technologies of their implementation, compositional solutions, their color range were considered, and the main features of artistic expression were revealed. In modern interiors of residential premises, you can find stylized decorative and ornamental stylized stained-glass compositions, which are characterized by a linear division of the glass canvas with the use of faceted glass elements. With the help of stained glass windows, the space of the living room is filled with warm or cold, monochrome or polychrome colors, which enhances the visual perception of certain interior elements. Stained glass compositions using traditional and modern production technologies were analyzed and their role in modern interior design was determined.

With the further development of the social economy, people pay more attention to spiritual and cultural needs. As the main place of people’s daily life, the family is very important to the creation of its cultural atmosphere. In fact, China has fully entered the era of interior decoration, and people are paying more and more attention to decorative effects and the comfort and individual characteristics of decoration. Therefore, it is of practical significance to develop the application of decorative art in interior space design. However, the transfer effect of current interior decoration art design tends to be artistic, which leads to image distortion, and image content transfer errors are easy to occur in the process of transfer. The application of image style transfer in interior decoration art can effectively solve such problems. This paper analyzes the basic theory of image style transfer through image style transfer technology, Gram matrix, and Poisson image editing technology and designs images from several aspects such as image segmentation, content loss, enhanced style loss, and Poisson image editing constrained image spatial gradient. The application process of style transfer in interior decoration art realizes the application of image style transfer in interior decoration art. The experimental results show that the application of image style transmission in interior decoration art design can effectively avoid the contents of the interior decoration errors and distortions and has a good style transfer effect.

The application of mirror materials in interior decoration can not only enrich the technical methods of interior decoration, but also improve the decoration quality and comfort, so as to meet people’s growing decoration needs, achieving the purpose of promoting the sound development of interior decoration. Mirror material is one of the decorative materials widely used in modern indoor environment. It not only has decoration, but also can expand space. In recent years, the advent of the era of big data has promoted the reform of the design industry. Using big data thinking to assist the innovative design of furniture products will also become an important trend in the development of the furniture industry. According to the characteristics of customer demand in the era of big data, this paper designs and develops a set of customer demand analysis system based on big data by using cloud computing and big data mining technology. By collecting the behavior data of users when using products, this paper combines the mirror material with the manufacturing process of wooden furniture. The mining algorithm is applied to find out the improvement goal and direction of wood furniture manufacturing process based on mirror material, so as to enhance the competitiveness of furniture enterprises. The method proposed in this paper can obtain the furniture design elements according to the functional zoning and theme information and input the furniture design elements and zoning elements into the design element matching evaluation model to obtain the design matching element information.

Since the twenty-first century, with the improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength and cultural confidence, our country has paid more and more attention to the protection and development of Chinese traditional culture, and more and more attention to the protection and development of China’s traditional culture, traditional culture has no longer become a simple symbol in history books but has gradually entered people’s daily life with the characteristics of vitality and gradually evolved into various characteristics and forms and integrated into all walks of life. Under the background of the evolution of this culture, this paper discusses the application of Chinese decorative color for interior decoration design and puts forward an application model of Chinese decorative color for interior design based on the AlexNet network improved by Adam, BN, dropout, and data enhancement optimization algorithm. Through analysis, it is found that the AlexNet network improved based on the above optimization algorithm has a good application prospect for interior decoration design. For the traditional AlexNet network, the improved AlexNet network is obviously better than the traditional AlexNet network in color extraction and can greatly reduce the loss value in the process of color recognition, up to 70.77%. Finally, the application forms and decorative functions of Chinese decorative color elements based on the improved AlexNet network in interior decoration design are analyzed. Relevant research can not only promote the integration of new and new technologies into traditional art but also effectively carry forward Chinese traditional culture and promote the internationalization of Chinese color.

Because interior design is subject to inefficiency, more creativity is imperative. Due to the development of artificial intelligence diffusion models, the utilization of text descriptions for the generation of creative designs has become a novel method for solving the aforementioned problem. Herein, we build a unique interior decoration style dataset. Thus, we solve the problem pertaining to the need for datasets, propose a new loss function that considers the decoration style, and retrain the diffusion model using this dataset. The trained model learns interior design knowledge and can generate an interior design through text. The proposed method replaces the designer’s drawing with computer-generated creative design, thereby enhancing the design efficiency and creative generation. Specifically, the proposed diffusion model can generate interior design images of specific decoration styles and spatial functions end to end from text descriptions, and the generated designs are easy to modify. This novel and creative design method can efficiently generate various interior designs, promote the generation of creative designs, and enhance the design and decision-making efficiency.

China Academy of Building Research developed CASD software is a set of current Chinese interior decoration works more advanced computer-aided systems. The charge in the development of software design process has been integrated with the design, the overall process architecture is very reasonable, with a clear overall advantage. This study aimed at investigating the use of interior decorators by homemakers living in staff quarters in the University of Nigeria Nsukka. Four specific purposes guided the study as it sought answers to four research questions. The study used descriptive survey design. Simple random sampling technique was used A sample size of 120 home makers living within the staff quarters of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Campus was used for the study. A questionnaire which was designed and developed by the researchers in line with the objectives of the study was used to collect data for the study. Frequencies and percentages were used to analyze the collected data that was used for the study. The results analyzed revealed that majority of the Home makers residing in University of Nigeria Nsukka staff quarters are knowledgeable about interior decoration and its importance to the home (88%).The perception of homemakers living in University of Nigeria Nsukka towards patronizing interior decorators is positive as they are willing to patronize interior decorators (56%)but are constrained by a number of factors such as unavailability of funds, lack of value for interior decoration, scarcity of interior materials which leads to high cost of interior decoration materials among others (80%). However, these constraints can be reduced by making interior decoration affordable for the people, creating more awareness of interior decoration, implementing the right tools for decorating, among others (91%). It was recommended based on the outcome of the study , that the awareness of interior decoration and decorators should be intensified, this could come in form of workshop, seminars, exhibitions to get more people to know about the potential in interior decoration. There should be more practical lessons on interior decoration in the Home Economics program at various level as this would challenge students to explore the creativity in interior decoration. Discounts should be given to clients so that they can keep referring other people to patronize interior decorators.

Art design and materials are interactional. The realization of art design depends upon materials and materials can get life with excellent design. By starting from the use of physical appearance of materials, we can dig out interior decoration materials’ potentialities for originality, and break through traditional way of design expression, and set up new concepts about how to use decoration materials.

In recent years, with the rapid development of information technology and the extensive coverage of the Internet, the information age has come, and data is gradually becoming one of the important factors in the production of various manufacturing and operational entrepreneurs. With the development of society, people have higher and higher requirements for indoor planning. People no longer only pursue the beauty of a simple natural environment, but also pursue the beauty of the natural environment, their unique personality and spiritual pursuit. This article firstly studies some development issues and trends of interior decoration design, and then discovers the application of big data in interior decoration design through literature research. Finally, the questionnaire surveyed the interior decoration design style and product selection. The survey results showed that about 50% of the choice of style chose simple style, and 70%-80% of consumers chose natural materials for decoration products. It can be seen that, the interior decoration design is simpler, and the natural style develops.

For this reason, it is necessary to study the decoration elements in interior design in accordance with the concept, function, and character of the desired space. Kamasan puppet painting is one of the traditional arts that has a strong and unique philosophy. The Kamasan puppet painting that symbolizes Dewi Semara Ratih pelambang beauty of true love is very suitable to be implemented in the interior of the master bedroom. Kamasan's puppet painting that tells the story of Prabu Kresna as Arjuna's coachman, during the Kurusetra Mahabharat war, is very suitable to be implemented in the interiors of schools, campuses, offices, libraries, and study rooms in residential buildings. Kamasan Dewi Saraswati's puppet painting is very suitable to be implemented in the interior of schools, campuses, offices, libraries and spaces used for work that are related to education. It is recommended for interior designers to make Kamasan puppet painting as an alternative as an element of decoration in the designed interior. In addition to giving a unique feel to the interior that is designed, it is also able to serve as a stakeholder to preserve traditional Balinese art.

This paper takes Nanchang Fenghuang Tea House as an example to study the soft decoration design of rural country house under the background of regional culture. By deeply exploring the background and regional cultural characteristics of Phoenix Tea House in Nanchang city, combined with the principles and elements of soft decoration design, this paper analyzes the role of soft decoration design in rural country house. This paper introduces in detail the outline of soft decoration design of Phoenix Tea House in Nanchang city, including design concept and style selection, soft decoration design elements and principles, as well as the integration of soft decoration design and regional culture. The paper further expounds the soft decoration design practice of Phoenix Tea House in Nanchang City, including space layout and functional zoning, the use of color and material, the selection of interior furniture and decorations, and the use of tea culture elements. Through the investigation of user experience and evaluation, this paper probes into the influence of soft outfit design on user experience, and puts forward some suggestions for improvement of soft outfit design in rural residential accommodation. This study provides practical experience and theoretical reference for the soft decoration design of rural country house under the background of regional culture.

With the rapid development of economic and social productivity, the living standards of our people have been continuously improved. As human society enters industrialization and urbanization, in order to meet the increasing needs of life, people have higher and higher requirements for the environmental quality of their lives. People spend nearly 90% of their time indoors. Therefore, the environmental quality of indoor spaces has become an issue that cannot be ignored. The interior space environment of the building is closely related to everyone’s life. However, when people decorate their rooms luxuriously and warmly, the subsequent interior decoration sequelae are also seriously affecting people’s health. The pollution caused by indoor decoration is serious, whether it is the use of decoration materials or improper indoor design that will cause indoor air pollution. Based on building materials and interior design, this paper systematically analyzes the pollutants in the fully decorated interior space and proposes that from the perspective of low-carbon economy, interior space design should be based on the ecological environment, and the focus of the design is on the rational use of nature. Resources and decoration methods should start from the application of natural colors and natural materials and organically combine green materials and green decoration designs to create a more comfortable, healthy, safe, and environmentally friendly indoor space environment.

This study includes the answer to the question that may be raised regarding the possibility of considering the design of the interior decoration as classified as protected works in the UAE law, and the consequent enjoyment by the designer of the literary and financial rights of the author. Paragraph 11 of UAE Federal Law No. 7 of 2002 on the protection of copyright and related rights refers to the design of decoration as one of the examples of the technical works mentioned by the legislator. The answer to the questions raised in this study is divided into two axes: the first is the technical framework and guarantee the historical development of the design, the role of the Arab design in the development of the design of the decoration and the definition of the designer and distinguish it from the architectural design. The second axis included the legal framework and included the conditions that must be met in the decoration design in order to enjoy legal protection, the rights of the decorator and then the legal protection of the right of the decorator.

Chinese decoration style originated from the end of the 20th century, with the continuous recovery of China's economy, a design concept began to emerge in the construction industry, the rise of sinology also makes Chinese people begin to examine things from a cultural perspective. The vigorous rise of Chinese style is attributed to it in line with the various psychological, aesthetic and times needs of Chinese people in the new era. In the modern society where European and American cultures are ubiquitous and where materialistic desires are rampant and various contradictions emerge one after another, the traditional Chinese culture has been paid attention to again due to its harmony and calm, and combined with the aesthetic needs of contemporary people, the Chinese style has gained a new life. This article intends to elaborate the origin and background of Chinese decoration style, and summarize its design principles and methods, so that Chinese style can be more flexibly applied to modern home life, be found and loved by more people, and provide a concise basis for the practice of Chinese style decoration.

With the gradual advancement of globalization, cultural values and traditional decorative practices as well as people’s lifestyles have changed through digital awareness. This has seriously affected the interior decoration industry and brought challenges to the local handicraft industry. Pakistan’s traditional handicraft is famous in the world, but the flow of imported machine-made products in Pakistan has led to a decline of Pakistan’s handicraft industry. This research investigated which factors are involved in home decoration and to see if these factors are advantageous for the handicraft industry or not. The use of handicraft decoration objects varies among people when they design their houses. Thus, study conducted a survey, which found several factors that Pakistani people emphasize in relation to home decoration. Currently, these factors do not benefit the handicraft industry as people pursue a modern lifestyle and they consider handicraft objects without innovation and design outdated. Interior decoration is seen as a major aspect of traditional Pakistani life and culture, with distinct cultural characteristics. Inspired by the latest way of thinking, an interior design first exists as a concept and is then realized through careful planning. It is meant to evoke a specific mood through the strategic use of color, space, and style. In Pakistan, home accessories are generally and strongly influenced by the current fashion in the end market, with many changes brought about by consumers’ purchasing patterns, designers’ and decorators’ styles, and economic conditions. Keeping up with constantly changing trends is the main challenge faced by the traditional handicraft industry sector. In many cases, craftspeople are disconnected from the end market, which is a challenge for them to be able to profit from their work.

People in Pakistan cannot absolutely consider adopting a pure one style. Interior decoration is considered as primary to traditional living culture with distinctive cultural ideas, filling in the use of the latest style of thinking. The purpose of this study is to explore the development and current status of interior decoration styles in modern Pakistan and to collect background information on the current interior design decoration style and application of traditional elements in decoration.Also, investigate the extent of application of traditional thoughts in modern houses, their incorporation and blend with contemporary architecture so that the cultural values and the elements of traditional interior décor art and craft are not endangered. Study reveals that Pakistani interior décor style is the foremost interesting and attention-grabbing to work with because of the variations within the culture, splendid history and art and craft across the country.

This research is integrated the architecture and art design creative work with community for developing local products of Eastern Lanna, by design the interior decoration prototype in 36 square meter guest room (price 600 - 800 baht per night) of Phayao university hotel to inform Kham Mok Luang flower as symbolic media or one element of identity. The objectives of study is to set research teamwork of interior designer, architect, artist- designer to design decorative objects or props with community craftmans to increase value added handicraft products and community can develop their products to commercial business by their competency. The method is qualitative research that 4 designers collaborate with 10 textile and basketry handicrafts in Ang Thong district, Phayao Province by sharing their knowledges and skills together, start from design the symbolic pattern of Kham Mok Luang of cloth weaving and basketry raw material process, design the guest room decoration, produce the decorative objects or props : curtain, bed runner, head of bed, lamp, basket. After finishing the props the researcher set them in the mock up room, and take the pictures of decorative room and objects to be survey tool of stakeholders satisfaction opinion about symbolic pattern design and all decorative products. The result is to the most satisfaction in symbolic pattern, the products or props satisfaction is more to the most.

Batik Kitchen Café and Restaurant is a culinary-related commercial building in Cirebon. Batik Kitchen Café and Restaurant in Cirebon applies decorative elements in the form of batik to its interior style. The application of decorative elements to the interior style of Batik Kitchen Café and Restaurant is found in the elements that form and fill the space. This study aims to determine the application, decoration, and meaning of the decorations in the interior of Batik Kitchen Café and Restaurant in Cirebon. To answer the problems in the study, the interior design approach the theory of D.K. Ching, and Roland Barthes' approach to meaning. The research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. This qualitative research is directed at the real conditions of the research object. The data sources of this research are sources (informants), objects, records, literature, and the internet. The results showed: (1) The application of decorative elements in the form of batik was found in space; lobby area, dining room, and bar area, in the form of space-forming elements; floors, walls, and ceilings, as well as space fillers; tables and chairs, as well as interior accessories. (2) The decorative elements applied to the interior style of Batik Kitchen Café and Restaurant in Cirebon is Nusantara batik motifs which have various meanings. The application of decorative elements to the interior style of the Batik Kitchen Cafe and Restaurant in Cirebon which plays a role in introducing, promoting, and preserving the traditional and cultural values of Cirebon City.

"Chinese style" is a new form of combining Chinese and Western styles, formed on the basis of Western decorative art after a large number of Chinese exported works of art were imported to Europe in the XVII—XVIII centuries. The article takes the famous British country estate of the XVIII century as a starting point, and combines the relevant elements of interior decoration to analyze the influence of Chinese design on British decorative patterns and decorative techniques. "Chinese Style" is an innovative combination of Chinese and Western art based on Western decorative techniques.The article also analyzes the influence of the Chinoiserie style as a new art form combining traditional Chinese elements with Western forms on British decorative methods, with an emphasis on a specific study of this phenomenon.The purpose of the author of this study is to study and familiarize readers and the scientific community with the development and application of the "Chinese style" in British decorative methods of interior design. To achieve this goal, the author uses comparative historical, historical and cultural methods, iconographic method of description, as well as stylistic analysis, analyzes historical sources: historical documents, images, artifacts and literature. The research methodology includes a comprehensive approach to the study of the historical context and its impact on the formation of the British interiors. An empirical generalization of the material allows us to conclude about the significance of the above research and the influence of the "Chinese style" on modern decorative methods of interior design and design in Britain. The novelty of the research lies in the application of a combination of methods, analysis of historical forms to study this topic, which has been little studied in the segment of Russian historical science, which allowed us to obtain results that can arouse increased interest in the formation of the British interior among specialists. The author emphasizes the importance of the ability of design masters and architects to combine elements of Italian and British design to create a unique interior. The author's special contribution lies in the analysis of historical materials, practical examples of the successful application of the "Chinese style" in British interiors, which makes this article a valuable study for designers and lovers of interior art.

In order to solve the problems of the traditional 3D simulation system of indoor soft decoration, such as the lack of effective enrichment, rendering means, and poor authenticity when selecting the geometric modeling method to simulate the effect of indoor soft decoration, this paper proposes a 3D simulation system of indoor soft decoration based on OpenGL and Direct3D. The system uses 3DMAX software to establish the indoor model, imports the model into the OpenGL 3D graphics standard library module, draws the indoor soft decoration scene elements using the basic geometric elements, and constrains the scene elements through the wall, overlap, and size constraint functions, so as to ensure the reasonable layout of the indoor soft decoration agent area and enrich the indoor model. After enrichment, the indoor model is transmitted to the Direct3D rendering engine module transformation unit to implement the soft decoration layout, and the lighting unit and rasterization unit are used to render the indoor after layout so as to obtain the optimal indoor soft decoration effect and output the 3D simulation image of indoor soft decoration. The experimental results show that the favorability, operation sensitivity, design portability, design satisfaction, and soft fitting effect score of the system are higher than those of the Untiy3D system and Smart3D system. The average score of this system is about 95, while the average score of the Untiy3D system is lower than 89, and the average score of the Smart3D system is lower than 85. Conclusion. The three-dimensional simulation effect of indoor soft decoration of this system is good, the design is convenient, the operation is sensitive, and the user satisfaction is high, which provides a reliable analysis basis for indoor design.

The existing interior decoration of Qing Dynasty is the master of that of each dynasty, with its diversified forms and complicated functions. As early as 1920s, the Rehabilitation Committee of Qing court recorded the interior furnishing in the Forbidden City by using Chinese traditional documentary method. Today, along with the constantly updated techniques, the recording method for the current situation of interior decoration has gradually developed from two-dimensional drawings into digital and comprehensive record. However, the current research results are mostly limited to a single field. This paper takes the digital record and reproduction about the current situation of interior decoration in Jingfu Palace in the Forbidden City as an example. Through the use of photogrammetry, 3D laser scanning, virtual display and other technology and equipment at the forefront of architectural field, it makes qualitative and quantitative record about the interior decoration inside Jingfu Palace. By combing with the interpretation of historical documents, it restores the original design ideas hidden behind the current situation of interior decoration, so as to summarize the best recording and reproducing method of interior decoration of Qing Dynasty.

A boutique hotel is a hotel that has strong characteristics, one of which is its unique interior design style. The application of cultural elements is also an essential key for boutique hotels to attract guests. However, there is no focal element of the local culture at Treehouse Suites in Pati, Central Java. Therefore, the interior design needs to apply the elements of typical Pati decoration. This project aims to make the interior design of a boutique hotel that is convenient not only for recreational activities but also for guests traveling on business. The method used in the research is research and development. The steps include analysis of potential problems utilizing preliminary studies by means of literature review and field studies. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. This design is a design development through making design concepts and making design drawings.
The results of the interior design of the Treehouse Suites Boutique Hotel bring the concept of "Back to Nature," the coastal design style, and some decorations emblematic of Pati traditions, Central Java.

The recommendation engine is similar to the function of the product recommender in our real life, which provides great convenience for people to choose the appropriate decoration scheme in the process of interior design and decoration. A home improvement website or company can design a suitable recommendation algorithm to provide home improvement program recommendation services for users with decoration needs. After understanding the user behavior of the home decoration website, this paper proposes an interior design scheme recommendation method based on an improved collaborative filtering algorithm. The method designs a collaborative filtering algorithm that combines multilayer hybrid similarity and trust mechanisms. Fuzzy set membership function is introduced to correct users’ rating similarity, and users’ interest vector is extracted to calculate users’ preference for different types of items. The algorithm dynamically fuses those two aspects to obtain the mixed similarity of users; meanwhile, the user’s hybrid similarity and trust are fused in an adaptive model. Then, the user neighbor data set generated based on the overall similarity of users is used as a training set, taking the item scores and features into consideration. On the one hand, the users and the projects are taken into account as well. The final prediction score is more accurate, and the recommendation effect is better. The experimental results show that this method can recommend interior design schemes with high performance, and its performance is better than other methods.

One of the regular events of this Event Decoration is the weddings and birthdays, therefore, this final project is designing three thematic concept which are chinese and traditional concept for wedding event and steampunk for birthday party.
