The paper aims to review the current state of the knowledge in an attempt to renew the interest in studying cognitive side of entrepreneurial ethics. The paper explores how the two streams of the literature — entrepreneurial cognition and entrepreneurial ethics — can possibly be integrated to guide future research. It also reviews the literature at the intersection of entrepreneurial cognitions and ethics. In doing so, the paper draws upon the extant literature to propose a set of questions for future research. Given the ethical implications of entrepreneurial behavior, this paper calls for future interdisciplinary work among entrepreneurial cognition scholars and business ethicists. The extant literature has generally focused on exploring the linkages among entrepreneurial cognitions, moral awareness, and moral judgment. It appears that relatively sparse attention is paid to explore the underlying cognitive patterns of an entrepreneur's actions pertaining to unethical business practices. This gap in the literature at the intersection of cognitions and ethics holds significant potential for future research. The proposed questions for future research include the following: How do cognitive biases and heuristics make an entrepreneur more susceptible to immoral judgment and reasoning? Which of the cognitive schemas is more likely to enhance moral intentions of entrepreneurs? How does distributed cognition shape socially responsible entrepreneurial behavior? Do entrepreneurs prefer rule-based or cost/benefit-based reasoning approach while making moral judgment? Which of the cognitive dimensions of socially responsible behavior — utilitarianism, just, and rights — is more common among entrepreneurs in developed countries in comparison to the entrepreneurs in developing and emerging economies? Do immigrant and/or ethnic entrepreneurs experience identity ambiguity and how does it relate to their unethical actions? How does the level of motivation affect an entrepreneur's reliance on heuristics rather than employing a systematic response to process information for ethical judgment? The proposed questions potentially offer insights into the way in which entrepreneurial cognitions and entrepreneurial ethics are interconnected. Entrepreneurship scholars may enrich their future research efforts by exploring how might insights from entrepreneurial ethics better inform the theoretical developments of entrepreneurial cognitions.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of LEM participation on moral identity. Lateral exchange markets (LEMs) enable ordinary people to monetize idle personal resources such as cars, homes, gadgets and skills. Despite its champions portraying actors in these exchange as moral citizens of society, recent findings suggest that egoistic motives drive participation. A salient moral identity motivates behaviors that show social sensitivity to others and enable cooperative actions. Given that platform-providing firms rely on users’ cooperative behaviors to facilitate lateral exchange, understanding factors that affect moral identity can have important implications for the success of such business models. Design/methodology/approach In this research, the authors move away from the ideological discourse behind actors’ motivations, to provide a pragmatic explanation of how participation erodes moral identity. The authors apply a social cognitive framework to examine how the environment in LEMs impacts behaviors and personal factors in a recursive fashion. Findings Across two studies, findings reveal that prolonged participation in lateral exchange diminishes the centrality of moral identity to the working self-concept. Moreover, the results show that keeping puritan peers moral has positive business outcomes. This research also discerns a boundary condition that determines when peers remain consistent with their moral compasses. Specifically, when engagement is perceived as effortful, the behavior becomes an informative input in the inference of one’s moral disposition reinforcing moral identity. Originality/value Marketers can use this research to design business models in ways that mitigate the decay of moral identity.

The development of halal food industries has created more business opportunities for Muslim entrepreneurs. These Muslim entrepreneurs must ensure that only halal ingredients are used in their food products. Although there is a growing literature on halal management and consumerism, empirical studies on certified bakery ingredients and online entrepreneurs are limited. To fill this gap, factors influencing the intention to use halal-certified bakery ingredients among online entrepreneurs are being investigated. The data was obtained from 165 online Muslim entrepreneurs in Malaysia using convenience sampling. The adopted questionnaire was used as a research instrument, grounded by the extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The TPB model was extended in this study by including additional components to measure self-identity, moral obligation, and barriers. The results obtained based on the path analysis showed that the attitude and subjective norm of the entrepreneurs are both statistically significant in influencing the intention to use halal-certified bakery ingredients. In contrast, entrepreneurs' perceived behaviour control, self-identity, and moral obligations had no significant influence on the intention to use halal-certified bakery ingredients

The manufacturing industry has an important role on the regional economic’s development. Nevertheless, economics development cannot be separated from environmental degradation issue. In Margoyoso Sub-district, Pati, Central Java, the disposal of tapioca flour wastewater results in environmental pollution and this situation rises a question on the awareness of entrepreneurs. The purpose of this study is to identify the moral attitude of tapioca entrepreneurs to the environment and to explore the efforts made by entrepreneurs to reduce the negative impacts of the wastewater. This research is conducted by qualitative method, using interview, observation, and documentation for data collection. The results of this study indicate that the moral attitude of tapioca entrepreneurs is classified as socionomous. This implies that the awareness of the entrepreneurs is at low level because the tapioca entrepreneurs run their business by following what other entrepreneurs usually do. Finally, the application of an appropriate eco-commitment concept, namely continuance commitment, is required in order to support the objectives of the business in realizing environmental sustainability for their business.

Entrepreneurs are potentially powerful solvers of challenges faced by sustainable development, especially when they combine narrower technological expertise with wider social motivations. Yet, to what degree trade-offs exist between different motivations is still largely unresolved. In this paper, we examine the choices made by potential entrepreneurs when aligning their prospective ventures with their personal attitudes and social norms. Extending the theory of planned behavior and—as a novel experimental technique in our context—drawing on a choice-based conjoint analysis with 4155 data points, we identify predictors for sustainable entrepreneurship intentions based on structural equation modelling. We find that entrepreneurial and sustainability-related attitudes as well as entrepreneurial norms are critical when it comes to the decision as to whether or not to pursue a sustainable venture, and that the link between attitudes and intentions is amplified by a positive moderation effect of entrepreneurial and sustainability-related attitudes, which supports identity coupling but refutes moral disengagement.

Sociologists have shown that moral understandings of market exchanges can differ between historical periods and institutional settings, but they have paid less attention to how producers’ moral frameworks vary depending on their unequal positions within both markets and institutions. We use interviews and ethnographic observations to examine the vibrant market of research shops selling academic work to students around two of Uganda’s top universities. We identify three groups of researchers—Knowledge Producers, Entrepreneurs, and Educators—who construct different professional identities and moral justifications of their trade, and who orient their market action accordingly. We demonstrate that these identities and moral frameworks reflect an interplay between the institutional contexts and the social class positions that researchers occupy within this illicit market. Knowledge Producers and Entrepreneurs both experienced a sense of “fit” with their respective institutional cultures, but the former now see their work as compromising ideals of research, whereas the latter capitalize on what they view as a broken system. Educators, disadvantaged at both institutions, articulate a framework countering the dominant institutional cultures and sympathetic to underperforming students. This approach illuminates how institutional contexts and individual class positions within them influence producers’ moral frameworks, leading to differentiation of the market.

New ventures, being heavily subjected to liabilities of newness, are seen to engage in legitimacy strategies to overcome these liabilities. Building on an adapted theoretical framework of organizational legitimacy, self-reported weekly diaries of twelve entrepreneurs were analysed to identify strategies used by new ventures to create legitimacy. New ventures appear to prefer pragmatically related strategies over moral and cognitive ones, and adopt malleability with respect to moral strategies. The novelty of the venture technology increases the focus on conformity strategies, whereas more established technologies use manipulative strategies to gain legitimacy. New ventures also appear to engage strongly in moral selection strategies in terms of goal formulation.

The rise in the importance of nonstate actors in generating new norms in world politics has been documented by scholars, but the literature has focused predominantly on nonsecurity (“new”) issue areas. Conversely, although recent constructivist work in international relations has examined the security policies of states, typically it is the state that is doing the constructing of interests. I bridge these two literatures by examining the hard case of transnational civil society working through issue networks to teach state interests in security policy. I analyze the campaign by transnational civil society to generate an international norm prohibiting antipersonnel land mines and trace the effects of several techniques through which states can be said to be socialized. Through generating issues, networking, “grafting,” and using a transnational Socratic method to reverse burdens of proof, the campaign has stimulated systemic normative change through two processes: norm adoption through the conversion of persuaded moral entrepreneurs and emulation resulting from social pressures of identity.

This paper provides an analysis of the relationship of dominance and resistance in the novel High Fidelity. The aim of the paper is to identify the elements of popular culture in the novel and thus determine the nature of possible relationships in a patriarchal, capitalist society. The theoretical framework used in the paper is Fiske’s theory of popular culture (2001) and the analysis is based on regarding the characters as representatives of dominant and resistant forces. Men and the upper class constitute categories which are dominant in the relationship with subordinate ones – women and the lower class. In addition, the protagonist Rob is the prototype of a man who is subordinate to himself, i.e. to his representation of ideal male traits he lacks, according to his own beliefs. The subordinate put up resistance in different ways. Laura is a successful business woman who possesses a strong character, which places her into a better position than that of Rob. The protagonist uses music as one of the ways to express his resistance. As a lower class member (i.e. a poor entrepreneur), the protagonist opposes upper class members (wealthy entrepreneurs) in that he possesses moral principles which they often lack.

With a population of 171 million, 91% of whom are Sunni Muslims (2024), Bangladesh is the fourth most populous Muslim country in the world. This young nation-state gained independence in 1971 following a war which, by separating the Muslims of West and East Pakistan, challenged the logic of religious identity of the 1947 partition. Since then, Bangladesh has been characterized by an ambivalent relationship between politics and religion, with secularism as a constitutional principle (since 1972) and Islam as the state religion (since 1988). In this context, the challenge is to define the role of Islam in the lives of citizens, not only Muslims but also ethnic and religious minorities. While there is a consensus between the faithful and the main representatives of Islamic religious authority on the practice of the five pillars of Sunni Islam, the competition to establish one's own Islamic normativity has led many identity and political entrepreneurs, Islamist organisations, Muslim citizens and believers, free thinkers and state bodies to construct, negotiate and produce different Islamic norms. Based on the study of Bangladesh, the aim of this thesis is to analyse the action and role of the various bodies that have the authority to produce, validate or reject what is known as an Islamic norm. These actors engage in negotiation processes but do not hesitate to resort to violence. Situated at the intersection of political sociology and political anthropology and based on nine months of fieldwork [between 2017 and 2023], this thesis emphasises that Islam is above all a political construct that stems from the actions of those who wish to produce and disseminate their Islamic norms, establish their morality and represent a legitimate politico-religious authority

This qualitative study explores the dynamic relationship between creative identity and entrepreneurial identity in musicians as they attempt to start up music-related ventures. It emerged from the need of the researcher to develop a research base for her practice as a creative enterprise educator. There is, therefore, a real world nature to the study as it focuses on the lived experience of emerging entrepreneurs. The research takes an interdisciplinary approach, drawing on identity and entrepreneurship theory to investigate the course of identity development and how this interplays with the nascent entrepreneurship journey. The study has two phases: pre-trading, where perceptions of entrepreneurship were explored amongst a group of music students who expressed intent to musician-entrepreneurship, and a two-year t racking phase, involving real-time observation of the playing out of a range of paths through the nascency journey for the musicians. Twelve musicians took part in Phase One; ten remained for Phase Two and participated in a series of interviews about their experiences as they attempted to develop their ventures. The semi-structured interviews were analysed using a restorying approach to narrative analysis in order to build case studies. Findings from the pre-trading phase are of identity claims, the nature of intent and the interplay between identities. As the study progressed, the complex nature of the nascency journey and of shifts in the relationship between entrepreneurial and creative identities were observed. The three key areas for contribution to knowledge relate to findings around the nuanced nature of intent in the nascent creative entrepreneurs, including the observation of intent to practise being much stronger than entrepreneurial intent and the proposal of Tactical and Pragmatic intent as a means of understanding this; the complex and non-sequential journeys the musician entrepreneurs followed through nascency; and the nature of their shifting and interplaying creative and entrepreneurial identities, including the ways in which musician-entrepreneur identities were developed.

Resumo:
A dual-process framework argues that both intuition and reflection interact to produce moral decisions. The present dissertation integrated moral identity and moral judgment to explain moral behavior from the dual-process model and its account was tested by three studies. A typical everyday moral behavior of interest in the present research was honest behavior. Participants were introduced to use their intuitive ability to predict the dice number demonstrated on a computer. The reward will base on their self-reported accuracy. Studies examined cheating behavior of individuals who had a chance to lie for money. In study 1, sixty participants with diversified background were recruited in a laboratory study. The results supported that honest behavior was more an intuitive result than a reflective outcome. Honest behavior resulted from the absence of temptation and priming moral constructs increased honest behavior. Study 2 contained two parts, in the first part, the researcher developed a Chinese version of moral identity based on Aquino and Reed’s (2002) work, in the second part, fifty-eight participants’ moral identity was investigated by the instrument in the first part. Their honest behavior was measured in the same task adopted in study 1. The result confirmed that different mechanisms led different people to behave ethically. For people who had strong moral identity, honesty resulted from the absence of temptation, while for individual with weak moral identity, honest behavior resulted from the active resistance of temptation. In study 3, moral identity and moral judgment were integrated to explain moral behavior. A Web-based survey with 437 subjects showed that the relationship between moral identity and moral judgment was significant. Individuals who viewed themselves as moral people preferred formalistic ideals to utilitarian framework when making moral judgment. The follow-up experimental study demonstrated that moral identity and moral judgment interacted together to determine moral behavior. When formalism was coupled with the motivational power of moral identity, individuals were most likely to behave morally.

Resumo:
This thesis adopts a social constructionist epistemology and a narrative analysis research method to explore the moral identity work of senior managers in UK for-profit businesses. Analysis of thirty semi-structured interview transcripts was carried out using the Nvivo data analysis software package, guided by Gioia et al’s (2013) systematic approach to qualitative data analysis. The study identifies one overarching theme – that of the loneliness of seniority, which underpins the moral identity work of participants. Participants articulate the loneliness of seniority with recourse to three main tactics – describing intense pressure to deliver against business objectives, expressing the weight of expectation that they perceive from many stakeholders, and asserting that they feel caught between those above and below them in their organisational hierarchies. Two further themes are elaborated. In the first – reaffirming themselves as essentially moral - participants assert that they have a moral core, with recourse to nostalgia for childhood. In the second - becoming and being moral managers - they assert their roles as moral champions by characterising their organisations as systems that threaten to thwart their moral agendas, and which they need to resist. These findings contribute to understanding in the under-researched area of individual moral identity within a business context, as well as offering a fresh perspective to the broader field of business ethics research. The research makes contributions to theory in several areas, notably to the theories of nostalgia and of stigma management in identity work, and to the theory of resistance as an identity work stratagem. It also contributes to practice with the findings that feelings of isolation persist beyond middle management, and that moral issues in the workplace are experienced in a remarkably similar way in individuals from different business functions and sectors.

Resumo:
The majority of people on Earth now live in cities, and estimates hold that 60 percent of the world’s cities have yet to be built. Now is the time for philosophers to develop a philosophy of the city to address the forthcoming issues that urbanization will bring. In this dissertation, I respond to this need for a philosophy of the city by developing a theory of city identity, developing some of the theory’s normative implications, illustrating the theory with a case study, and outlining the nature and future of philosophy of the city more generally. Indeed, this dissertation is only a part of my larger project of founding and institutionalizing this new field of both academic and socially-engaged philosophical activity. Throughout the history of the discipline, other areas such a personal identity have received numerous considerations, along with the concept of identity as an abstraction. For example, there is a bounty of research addressing problems pertaining to how objects and people retain an identity over time and claims about identity in general. While one could argue that cities are not any different than any other object, such an account fails to consider that a city’s dynamic nature makes it dissimilar to other things. To illustrate this point, I develop a position called dynamic composition as identity theory that provides a framework for understanding the identity of a city, exhibiting that views within analytic metaphysics are too narrow to apply to all cases. After establishing a concept of city identity, I use an applied mereology to develop a model of city identity that shows how the parts of a city fit together to form a complete city. This model introduces the normative dimension of my project by providing a way to identify how incongruence between a city’s parts can cause problems for residents’ wellbeing. To understand the moral dimensions of infrastructure, I argue that moral theory alone is ill prepared to adequately demonstrate its full range of effects. Yet, instead of developing another moral theory, we can supplement existing moral theories with the concepts of sustainability and resilience thinking to account for the elements that traditional moral systems neglect. I support this view with a detailed account of transportation infrastructure. Namely, I show that current frameworks for assessing transportation infrastructure are inadequate, and employ the method of complex moral assessment developed earlier to make such assessments. Lastly, I show how the research in this dissertation counts as intra-disciplinary research, a new kind of method for philosophical research.

According to results from Aquino and Reed (study 5, 2002) and Hall and Derryberry (2010), high means and very low standard deviations of the average score for each question for both the internalization and symbolization scales of the Moral Identity Scale (MIS) are common. This study attempts to measure the extent to which a person considers morality to be a central part of his or her self-concept. Because participants may feel pressure to respond in a certain way on the MIS, the role of social desirability to respond favorably is very plausible. The current study, therefore, attempts to reduce socially desirable responding on the moral identity construct. The hypothesis of this study was that the revised Moral Identity Scale—compared to the original Moral Identity Scale—would display a reduction in skewness, a reduction in social desirability effects, and an increase in the ability to predict moral functioning. Analyses partially supported a reduction in social desirability and supported an increase in the ability to predict moral functioning. However, analyses did not support a reduction in negative skewness.

Resumo:
What is the conscience? In this thesis I argue that, contrary to received wisdom, the conscience is not simply the moral sense, or the capacity to make moral judgements. I argue that conscience cannot be analysed in terms of any individually necessary conditions. Conscience (or as it is sometimes called ‘conscientiousness’), is a cluster concept. It can be analysed in terms of three principles which do not necessitate some thought or act being conscientious but, rather, count in favour, of that thought or act being conscientious. The three principles of conscience are identity (‘conscientious identity’), morality and communicativeness. Over the course of the thesis I articulate an argument in favour of my account of conscience through reference to both historical accounts of conscience (such as the accounts of Bishop Butler, Kant and Heidegger) and to recent discussions in moral philosophy (including the work of Kimberley Brownlee, Michael Bratman and Marina Oshana). Ultimately, I argue, these three principles are the principles of conscience because they capture, in different ways, what is valuable about conscience; they capture what a right of conscience purports to protect.

Resumo:
Pedagogical science, through the materialist covering that is imposed on it lately, has distanced itself from the spiritual needs of man. Despite this fact, the influence and importance of Christian values remain eminently valid and current. Christianity and especially Orthodoxy, through their entire content based on the teachings of Lord Jesus Christ, the Pedagogue par excellence, continue to inspire educational ideas, mentality, and pedagogical thinking. Christian pedagogy imposes itself as a necessity in todays society, through the need for moral-spiritual and religious education of the young people, increasingly deprived of the knowledge of perennial values. Following the life principles of Christian morality and evangelical virtues calls man to spiritual rebirth and edification, to rediscovering the existential meaning of life, through living the states of holy-spiritual life, cleansing, illumination, and deification. From the Orthodox perspective, moralspiritual education is a continuous disciplining of the human soul and the education of its will, benefiting its body, all these contributing to the harmonization of contemporary society, engulfed by so many disturbances and disruptive threats to European identity. Therefore, in order to highlight the subject of this study, we have used the analytical, historical and synthesis method, in collusion with the values of pedagogy in general.

Moral identity - defined as "a self-conception organized around a set of moral traits" - is strongly linked to moral behavior. Recent theoretical approaches showed that moral identity - the same as social identity - may be influenced both by individual differences and situational factors. In the context of the current global pandemic, several social and moral identities emerged and will continue to develop as the situation unfolds, with consequences on peoples' moral decisions and actions. Children and adolescents may be especially vulnerable to negative consequences, who may be affected by numerous situational factors such as the emerging of polarisation concerning following rules, and it is yet unclear how this affects children and adolescents' mental health and morality, both in the short and long term. Others' behaviors and opinions may hold a strong effect on adolescents' moral development, and this influence may be especially salient in the case of significant others (i.e., parents, family, peers) who have the role of ethic models in adolescents' life. Therefore, we propose a theoretical protocol for a longitudinal study, exploring the long-term effects of others' perceived moral identity on adolescents' moral identity development, hypothesizing that the perception of the moral identity of ethical models is a predictor for change over time in adolescents' moral self-identity. Longitudinal designs are widely used in literature to explore the role of both individual differences and situational factors on specific outcomes, for this reason, we propose a latent growth model, exploring the individual change in adolescents' moral identity, in three different time points, measured every year, in the (post)pandemic context.

Around the world, people with disabilities can be the most marginalised in society. Having a disability and being a member of a religious minority or an excluded social group can compound the reasons why some people find themselves on the outskirts of social systems which normally provide financial and moral support and a sense of identity and belonging. A recent study from India found that identity markers such as religion, caste and gender can exacerbate the exclusion already experienced by people with disabilities. Taking deliberate steps to strengthen the social inclusion of people with disabilities who also come from minority religious groups and socioeconomically marginalised backgrounds can help them fulfil their potential to fully and effectively participle in society on an equal basis with others, and strengthen community ties, making the society in which they live more inclusive.

Blaxter, Tamsin, Elina Åsbjer e Walter Fraanje. Animal welfare and ethics in food and agriculture. TABLE, agosto de 2024. http://dx.doi.org/10.56661/f2d8f4c7.

Resumo:
The role of non-human animals in the food system is more fiercely contested now than ever before. Deep chasms exist between different actors’ visions of the future and their acceptance of the present. What some view as moral outrages, others see as valued traditions, wellsprings of pride and identity, honed crafts, sources of indispensable nutrients, and so much more; intersections with other issues (environmental harms, rural economies, development and poverty) add still further tension. It is a difficult knot to untangle. Reflecting and contributing to these radical differences in positions, stakeholders in these debates work within varied frameworks. For philosophers of animal ethics, these are fundamentally moral questions that must be answered by direct engagement with our value systems. For animal welfare scientists, we can move forward by deepening our empirically-based understanding of other animals’ lives. For farmers, fishers, and others practically engaged in producing animal foods, too little attention is paid to the moral authority gained from daily working alongside other animals and understanding intuitively what is and is not good practice. In this explainer, we explore the paradigms and arguments surrounding animal ethics and animal welfare. We investigate how and why different disciplines frame the debate differently, the range of positions, and whether any areas of agreement might signal pathways to progress.

The article reveals and characterizes the methodological features of teaching the discipline «Intellectual and Psychological Foundations of Mass Media Functioning» on the third year of the Faculty of Journalism at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The focus is on the principles, functions, and standards of journalistic creativity during the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. As the Russian genocidal, terrorist, and ecocidal war has posed acute challenges to the education and upbringing of student youth. A young person is called not only to acquire knowledge but to receive them simultaneously with comprehensive national, civic, and moral-spiritual upbringing. Teaching and educating students, the future journalists, on Ukrainian-centric, nation-building principles ensure a sense of unity between current socio-political processes and historical past, and open an intellectual window to Ukraine’s future. The teaching of the course ‘Intellectual-Psychological Foundations of Mass Media Functioning’ (lectures and practical classes, creative written assignments) is grounded in the philosophy of national education and upbringing, aimed at shaping a citizen-patriot and a knight, as only such a citizen is capable of selfless service to their own people, heroic struggle for freedom, and the united Ukrainian national state. The article presents student creative works, the aim of which is to develop historical national memory in students, promote the ideals of spiritual unity and integrity of Ukrainian identity, nurture the life-sustaining values of the Ukrainian language and culture, perpetuate the symbols of statehood, and strengthen the moral dignity and greatness of Ukrainian heroism. The article analyses the topic of the Russian war against Ukraine in the works of Anne Applebaum. The subject of the study is the Russian-Ukrainian war in the context of changes in the world order in the journalist articles published since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. This article highlights the main theses and ideas of the author and her predictions about the future of democracy. The need for a critical analysis of the world changes and a response to the expansionist actions of authoritarian states is substantiated. The main goal of the work is to find out the particularities of the consideration of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the analysis of changes in the world order in the works of Anne Applebaum. Such methods as systematic, comparative historical and others were used in the research process. A. Applebaum’s articles published before and during the full-scale invasion in the American publication “The Atlantic” were analysed. We managed to identify the main subject of A. Applebaum’s articles: the reasons and motives of Russian aggression against Ukraine; the collapse of democracy in the context of the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine; the problem of the ignorance of threats from authoritarian states, in particular Russia, by the European and American communities; the rethinking of their identity and past by states due to the war on the continent, as well as the use of genocidal hate speech by the Russian authorities to justify the physical and moral destruction of Ukrainians in the past and present. The results of our research will help journalists who consider both the historical context of Russia’s genocidal policy against Ukraine as well as the impact of the war on the international system. The analysis of the works of A. Applebaum is crucial for Ukrainian society as they consider our past and present and their correlation. Keywords: Russian-Ukrainian war; propaganda; Anne Applebaum; Timothy Snyder.
