The Kurdish people's interest in the natural environment goes back to ancient times, due to the characteristics and survival of the natural environment of Kurdistan, which has been established in accordance with religious and scientific documents. The purpose of this study is how to develop the mindset and conservation of the natural environment within the framework of social reforms and its application to the behavior and life of the people concerned, on the other hand, to investigate the decisions on the protection of the natural environment, such as the Advanced Model In this age. And its adaptation to environmental principles originates from the religious and spiritual movement. As a result of merging into the national movement, it later became a moral constellation, and to this day, in addition to life changes, these practices, as a successful experience, can be considered one of the sources of the regulation of environmental protection law.

Sacrum w przestrzeni zamieszkiwania przedstawia szacunek dla niewidzialnego. Ludzie, tworząc prywatne sanktuaria w domach, stawiając przydrożne krzyże i kapliczki, podkreślają swoją potrzebę bezpieczeństwa i ochrony w codziennym życiu. The Paradigm Change. Environmental Aspects as Transformative Imperative in the Housing Environment The sacred in the habitation space depicts respect for the unseen. The people underlined their fear and hope for safety, comfort, and well-being in the sanctuaries inside their homes or roadside crosses and chapels. But contemporary shrines are different; architectural and urban means and solutions differ from those from previous ages. At the same time, they refer to or even use the same elements to express the holy. An expanded analysis of theoretical works and design examples based on longtime research and observations of the described phenomenon allows the author to formulate a thesis about a strongly changing paradigm in what one can describe as the sacred in a housing environment.

Land resources are scarce in Mauritius and to fulfil the export quota sugarcane (Saccharum hybrids) has to be grown in marginal areas which are not conducive to optimal growth. In order to increase overall productivity there is a need to breed and select sugarcane varieties specifically adapted to the extremely dry and extremely wet areas. In this study, 154 genotypes representing four families were planted in a randomized complete block design at two sites. The genotypes were replicated at the two sites and evaluated in the plant cane and first ratoon crops. Family × environment and genotype × environment interactions were determined using the mixed model analysis of variance. Significant differences between families, genotypes and environments were found in stalk height, stalk diameter, industrial recoverable sucrose % cane (IRSC) and cane yield per hectare in tonnes (TCH). The genotype × environment interaction was significant for stalk height, stalk number, stalk diameter, sucrose content, TCH, tonnes sugar per hectare (TSH) and kilobrix (parameter used for selection in the preliminary phase of the selection programme at the Mauritius Sugar Industry Research Institute) in both plant cane and first ratoon crops indicating that the relative performance of the genotypes is not consistent across the environments for these characters. The family × environment interaction was found to be significant for cane and sugar yields whereas it was not significant for field Brix in either the plant cane or the ratoon crops. This showed that, for the parameter Brix, the relative performance of the families is similar in both environments and there is no need to replicate in more than one environment. The environmental sensitivities measured with respect to sugar yield showed that families and genotypes with nearly equal means over all environments displayed inconsistent performances. Differences in the sensitivities of the different families and genotypes were observed and some of the family × environment and genotype × environment interactions could be ascribed to them. The results also suggest that mass selection could be more effective than family selection and selection for each specific environment is advisable.

The food system includes materials, processes and infrastructures related to agriculture, trade, retail, transport and consumption of food products. Like water and energy, food is a basic human need. In addition to availability, it is necessary for food to be of high quality, diverse, accessible, safe for consumption and affordable. There is also a strong link between food and human health and well-being. Environmental issues play a very important role in this story.

Lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.) is an important source of protein and carbohydrate food for people of developing countries and is popular in some developed countries where they are perceived as a healthy component of the diet. Ten lentil genotypes were tested for grain yield in five different environmental conditions, over two consecutive years to classify thes genotypes for yield stability. Seed yield of lentil genotypes ranged from 989.3 to 1.367 kg ha-1 and the linear regression coefficient ranged from 0.75 to 1.18. The combined analysis of variance showed that the effect of environment (E) and genotype by environment (GE) interaction were highly significant while the main effect of genotype (G) was significant at 0.05 probability level. Four different cluster procedures were used for grouping genotypes and environments. According to dendograms of regression methods for lentil genotypes there were two different genotypic groups based on G plus GE or GE sources. Also, the dendograms of ANOVA methods indicated 5 groups based on G and GE sources and 4 groups based on GE sources. According to dendograms of regression methods for environments there were 5 different groups based on G plus GE sources while the dendograms of ANOVA methods indicated 9 groups based on G and GE sources and 3 groups based on GE sources. The mentioned groups were determined via F-test as an empirical stopping criterion for clustering. The most responsive genotypes with high mean yield genotypes are G2 (1145.3 kg ha-1), G8 (1200.2 kg ha-1) and G9 (1267.9 kg ha-1) and could be recommended as the most favorable genotypes for farmers.

AbstractBiological parents pass on genotypes to their children, as well as provide home environments that correlate with their genotypes; thus, the association between the home environment and children's temperament can be genetically (i.e., passive gene–environment correlation) or environmentally mediated. Furthermore, family environments may suppress or facilitate the heritability of children's temperament (i.e., gene–environment interaction). The sample comprised 807 twin pairs (mean age = 7.93 years) from the longitudinal Wisconsin Twin Project. Important passive gene–environment correlations emerged, such that home environments were less chaotic for children with high effortful control, and this association was genetically mediated. Children with high extraversion/surgency experienced more chaotic home environments, and this correlation was also genetically mediated. In addition, heritability of children's temperament was moderated by home environments, such that effortful control and extraversion/surgency were more heritable in chaotic homes, and negative affectivity was more heritable under crowded or unsafe home conditions. Modeling multiple types of gene–environment interplay uncovered the complex role of genetic factors and the hidden importance of the family environment for children's temperament and development more generally.

Resumo:
Faced with environmental issues and the activity of mining, it is important to analyze the relationship between social and environmental and health issues and mining activities and their direct relations with development, especially the economic one. The present work aimed to evaluate the socio-environmental and health changes resulting from the implementation of large mining projects in Barcarena-PA, contextualizing the development and its contradictions in the Brazilian Amazon. For this purpose, bibliographic research was used, about the literature published in books, scientific and documentary articles, related to the theme under study. It was found that Brazil represents one of the greatest potentials of mineral resources on the planet, with approximately 55 types of minerals that can be used for economic exploration purposes. On the other hand, in addition to contributing to the strengthening of the regional and national economy and to the generation of jobs and the increase in the income of the local population, as is the case of the municipality of Barcarena-PA, this region has suffered consecutive socio-environmental and health impacts, due to the mining activities developed in the region. The surroundings of large mining projects are inhabited by families who, since their implementation have their way of life, their economy, their health and their sociocultural organization impacted, resulting from this activity and the successive environmental impacts that occur on the site. Given all that has been analyzed, it is possible to conclude that, because it is an accelerated economic development model, and often not properly planned, not taking into account the peculiarities of the Brazilian Amazon, it ends up generating numerous environmental, social impacts that even directly reflect serious health problems of the local population. Thus, it is essential to urgently rethink this form of implementation of mineral exploration projects in the Amazon region, as is the case in the city of Barcarena, because major socio-environmental disasters can still occur.

Environmental Rights is a branch of law that deals with the protection and safeguarding of the environment; and, is a set of legal rules that regulate people's relationships with nature, and it can be said that it is an interdisciplinary right, based on rules of private law, public law, administrative law, and criminal law. Therefore, it regulates the creation, modification, and fulfillment of legal relationships that condition the enjoyment, conservation, and improvement of the environment, inducing actions and abstentions in favor of the environment and the common good. As such, it is a fundamental human right to a safe, clean and healthy environment; and sustainable environmental governance cannot exist without the establishment of and respect for human rights.

The environment in the broadest sense of the word is the sphere that is around us, the sphere in which we live, with which we interact on a daily basis, and which directly affects our development and our future. The concept of the environment emerged in the middle of the 19th century. In the depths of biology. German zoologist E. Haeckel first defined ecology as the biological science of the relationship of organisms with the environment. At the same time, he understood the environment as a combination of living and inanimate elements of nature.

Therefore, the low-cost mud houses of the coastal regions often follow local practices. The dwelling pattern (two adjacent rooms opening to the corridor) was more prevalent in rural and semiurban areas. The housing exteriors are typical rural locales, commonly comprising agricultural fields, vegetation areas, and ponds. The statistical analysis covering different bioclimatic components, such as transportation availabilities, surrounding environment, and building structure, indicated a significant difference among remote rural, rural and semi-urban residences. The climatic conditions of the four village blocks covered in the study were hot and humid. The component structures provided a basis to explore further the possible influence of additional passive design options in constructing dwellings in coastal rural and semi-urban areas and enhancing thermal comfort. Selective passive design solutions indicate improvements in yearly total thermal comfort hours. Given the viability of poor residents in coastal rural and semi-urban areas, introducing interventions like passive solar direct gain, high thermal mass, night flush, natural and fan-forced ventilation, and evaporative cooling can improve the extent of ~18% in yearly thermal comfort hours. An overall bioclimatic analysis of the rural and semiurban coastal dwellings suggests that some passive design strategies can substantially enhance the thermal comfort of the inhabitants.

Resumo:
A set of 42 clusterbean genotypes were evaluated for yield attributing trait pods per plant over three environments. Pooled analysis of variance showed that Environments (E) explained highest proportion of variation for pods per plant, accounting for 42.16% of it, followed by G × E interactions (GEI) effects (31.1%) and genotype (26.7%). Higher effect of GEI compared to G alone indicated the possible existence of mega environments among the testing locations. The biplot explained 89% of the total variation relative to G plus GEI. Based on environment discrimination test, Environment 1(Madurai) is the ideal environment. Which Won Where (WWW) Polygon identified the most diverse genotypes namely M local, T local, RGC1055, RGC1033, HGS75, MRSG6 and CAZG10-2 were found to be highly diverse. These genotypes also occupied the convex of the hull. The genotype CAZG10-2 won in the Environment1 (E1) and the genotype HGS75 won in both environments E2 (Coimbatore) and E3 (Kovilpatti). Genotype stability test identified genotypes namely RGC1031, R local, HGS75, MRG1786, HGS2-1, HGS365, RGC1003, HGS2-4, HGS2-20 and PNB were stable over the other genotypes as they placed near to the Average Environment Coordination (AEC) abscissa.
