The problem of defining the prospects, opportunities, limitations and methodological format of assessing the competitiveness of an enterprise in a transitive economy using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) concept has been considered. The relevance of the issue is due, on the one hand, to global trends in innovative development, and on the other hand, to the incompliance of performance of the post-socialist industrial enterprises with the characteristics of innovative development. The creation of mechanisms for improving the enterprise’s competitiveness and its appropriate assessment based on the use of advanced management practices and technologies is becoming increasingly relevant.
The purpose of study is to improve methodological approach to the BSC-based assessment of competitiveness of a value-oriented enterprise, and to substantiate the prospects of effective integration of the BSC into the existing enterprise management system. This research paper justifies the possibility of using various methodological forms, including the simplest ones, of the Balanced Scorecard, which features a transformational nature, in the process of forming a balanced strategic management of enterprise. Methodical approach has been proposed for identification of the enterprise strategy directed at increase of its market value and strategic competitiveness. Matrix analysis was applied to assess the enterprise performance indicators; it revealed a relationship between the enterprise's competitive position and class of its innovation BSC-based strategies. To assess the enterprise’s competitiveness, an integral index of its investment attractiveness has been proposed, and to assess the class of the enterprise innovative strategies, an integral index of the enterprise innovations was calculated. The proposed methodological approach was used to perform expert sampling within the frame of indicators for determining the investment attractiveness and innovativeness of a metallurgical enterprise by the criteria of strategic orientation, efficiency and functionality. The study has analyzed the experience gained by the leading enterprises of Ukraine’s metallurgical complex in using BSC in a limited methodological format as a tool for identifying the strategy of an enterprise, assessing its competitiveness, innovativeness and investment attractiveness. The result of the study was the conclusion about the possibility of applying the simplest Balanced Scorecard forms as a catalyst for innovative transformations and developing balanced enterprise management in transition economies.

Common to all commercial enterprises is the problem of violating the basics of the formation of intellectual activity. The same problem of enterprises’ intellectual activities is quite relevant from a practical point of view. One of the useful tools, the use of which makes it possible to translate the issues of intellectual activities, is the formation of a business model. In the process of the study reported here, a meaningful part of the intellectual business model of an enterprise was proposed and the corresponding concept was introduced. The main groups of indicators for assessing the level of intellectual activities of the business model of an enterprise were combined into the following clusters: qualifications (Q), skills (S), possibilities (V). The level of an enterprise's intellectual activities was assessed using an empirical and graphical method since the selected assessment indicators in their content can only accept point scores. The proposed methodology for forming a radar system to determine the format of business models for intellectual activity of trading enterprises is based on the definition of clusters of indicators to assess the level of an enterprise’s intellectual activities using an integral indicator. According to the radar system, the formats of enterprises' intellectual activities have been determined: innovative, integrated, rational, content-oriented, conducting. It was investigated that the potential for increasing the level of intellectual activity of the integrated format of the business model of an enterprise is about 14 %. The conclusion about the level of the enterprise's intellectual activities is made on the basis of determining the scale of values of expert assessments. Validation of the assessment of the level of intellectual activity of an enterprise was carried out separately for each format for all proposed clusters of assessment indicators. Based on the results of testing, recommendations have been compiled for choosing the format of a business model for the studied enterprises.

P systems have been proposed for about 14 years, and its applications refer to numbers of areas. However, to investigate the survival and development of firms in the aspect of P systems is rarely. In this study, it makes analysis on the survival and development of small and medium-sized enterprises in an aspect of bionics, trying to find out the origin which makes the enterprise exuberant and everlasting. Have the enterprises compare to biological cells and construct a membrane framework in order to interpret an enterprise’s survival. At the same time it also highlights the irreplaceable role of enterprise DNA in the inheritance of the enterprise entity.

Recommendations have been proposed to improve the analysis of the enterprise's capabilities. It was concluded that the more resources the enterprise controls, the more significant its capabilities, so enterprises can often increase their capabilities by increasing their own and purchasing external resources.

This article reports on examination of the relationships between manager’s personal values, their attitudes toward concern for environment, concern for economic results and enterprise environmental responsiveness. Schwartz’s list of values and statements about the environmental and economic concerns is used. We analyzed 1179 managers’ answers from Slovenian enterprises with structural equation modeling. Manager’s concern results: (a) for environment positively and significantly and (b) for economics negatively and insignificantly, in influence on enterprise environmental responsiveness. Two value dimensions significantly influence enterprise environmental responsiveness and one negatively. Environmental concern mediates the effect of three, and concern for economic results mediates the effect of two value dimensions on enterprise’s environmental responsiveness. Generalization can be limited due to the focus on one Central Europe country; future examination is needed. Findings are useful for the development of enterprises’ pro-environmental behavior and development of enterprise value system. A model of enterprise’s environmental responsiveness is developed.

Purpose – The behaviour of an enterprise (including ethical behaviour) strongly depends on the organization’s culture, values and beliefs. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that organizational culture differs according to enterprise life cycle stage. Also the importance of the knowledge and awareness of these differences to enterprises’ management in order to be able to ensure enterprises’ success is argued. Design/methodology/approach – The case study research methodology was applied to explore the differences in the type of organizational culture as well as cultural strength depending on the enterprise’s life cycle stage. For the empirical testing, the author have selected Slovenia, one of the most developed European post-socialist transition countries. Findings – The research revealed differences in the types and strengths of enterprises’ organizational cultures and showed their dependence on the enterprises’ life cycle stages. Practical implications – Knowledge of differences in organizational culture in relation to an enterprise’s life cycle stage can significantly contribute to the behaviour of the enterprise’s key stakeholders by ensuring the long-term and sustainable success of the enterprise. Originality/value – The available literature does not provide similar research of differences in organizational culture in relation to an enterprise’s life cycle stages.

The capital market economy had created a good environment for the development of enterprises, and innovation had brought great impetus to the sustainable development of enterprises. However, the research on the relationship between stock market and enterprise innovation was not deep enough. Therefore, this paper proposed an empirical study on the relationship between stock price information and enterprise innovation management based on information learning mechanism, in order to provide reference for enterprise innovation and development. Firstly, taking the A-share listed enterprises from 2005 to 2020 as the research sample, this paper analyzed the factors that may affect the innovation behavior of enterprises, such as enterprise stock price information, peer stock price information, and IPO, and put forward relevant assumptions. Secondly, according to various factors that restrict the innovation behavior of enterprises, this paper defined relevant indicators to reflect the change law of enterprise stock price information, peer stock price information, and IPO and described the restrictive relationship between exploratory innovation and developmental innovation with different influencing factors by constructing a correlation regression model. Finally, through empirical analysis, the results show that exploratory innovation and developmental innovation are not affected by the enterprise’s own stock price information, but with the increase of peer stock price information, enterprise exploratory innovation becomes more sensitive to peer stock price information. Although the share price information of peers has no significant impact on enterprise development and innovation, after IPO, enterprises are more sensitive to the share price information of peers in exploratory innovation and developmental innovation. However, with the passage of time, the impact of peer stock price information on enterprise developmental innovation is gradually weakened.

For this reason, careful planning is needed to invest in IT / IS (Information Technology / Information Systems) in a enterprise. The failure of IT/IS investment in a enterprise is one of the factors due to not having an IT/IS investment roadmap in a enterprise in the form of Enterprise Architecture. To get maximum results from an IT/IS investment in a enterprise, it is necessary to develop Enterprise Architecture. Enterprise architecture is a blueprint for a enterprise in achieving the enterprise's vision and mission supported by the implementation of IT/IS. So the selection of an Enterprise Architecture development framework is very important, one of the frameworks that can be used in the development of Enterprise Architecture such as the Zachman Framework. The Zachman Framework uses a 6-row and 6-column matrix to generate a blueprint. With the existence of the Enterprise Architecture blueprint, the enterprise can then use it for a roadmap for the development of applications needed by the enterprise, so that IT/IS technology investment in the enterprise can help the enterprise's business processes to achieve the vision and mission.

With the improvement of enterprise innovation ability, enterprises have accumulated a large number of innovation achievements. The transformation and utilization of these innovation achievements have become a problem that enterprises have to face. Therefore, outbound open innovation has gradually become the focus of enterprise practice and academic research. Based on the social exchange theory, this paper regards two different forms of outbound OI (FR and SA) as a process of social exchange and illustrates how they affect the innovation performance of enterprises by influencing the structure of their innovation networks. Using data from 196 firms in the Chinese market, this study empirically examines the impact of FR and SA on innovation performance and further examines the mediating effect of structural holes. The study found that FR has a significant positive impact on enterprise innovation performance, and the number of structural holes occupied by enterprises plays a mediating role. While the impact of SA on enterprise innovation performance is not significant, this is because SA will reduce the number of structural holes occupied by enterprises, which is an important source of enterprise’s innovation.

The paper reveals interrelations between the concepts “economic security”, “economic sustainability”, “development” and “competitiveness” of an enterprise. Based on their consideration, the paper enhances theoretical and methodological principles of establishing competitive innovation development and economic security of an enterprise. Unlike the existing ones, these principles provide for not only alternativeness but also equal significance when choosing between achievement of high levels of competitiveness, development and economic security. Application of the elaborated suggestions enables more objective formation of the policy of management of an enterprise’s innovation development under unstable conditions considering the industrial field and the market position of the enterprise. It is proven that essential elements of enterprises’ sustainable development include innovative activity, production provision, export of science-intensive products and development of high technology services, this providing for efficient levels of enterprises’ economic security and competitiveness. Under conditions of uncertainty, there are some basic functions of an enterprise aimed at enhancing its competitiveness and economic security including the following: achieving the optimal level of an enterprise’s resulting indicators and efficient “income-risk” ratio, innovative activity, ensuring the quality of an enterprise’s intellectual capital, environmental safety and meeting required social standards.

The article presents the systematization of approaches to assess the enterprises' level of competitiveness. The advantages and disadvantages of the most famous models for assessing the competitiveness of business entities are considered. The identified shortcomings made it possible to form a hypothesis for studying the enterprises' competitiveness, taking into account the industry factor, financial criteria and quality indicators of the enterprise. For the formation of an objective adaptation model for assessing the competitiveness of an enterprise, taking into account its industry specificity, the author's approach to assessing the competitiveness of an enterprise, taking into account industry specifics, based on the relative and qualitative indicators of the enterprise's activities, selected by the expert assessment method, is considered. For trade enterprises, groups of the most significant indicators have been formed that characterize the competitiveness in the areas of observation of the sales of a trade enterprise, its costs, financial position and financial results, for the market share of the trade enterprise, the level of prices for goods, for the level of service of the trade enterprise. The indicators characterizing the level of competitiveness of a trading enterprise are divided into relative critical indicators and a group of qualitative critical indicators, which are included in the calculation of the complex coefficient of enterprise competitiveness model based on the theory of effective competition according to the weighted average arithmetic formula. The article presents the results of approbation of the proposed methodology on the example of the “PAO Magnit” trading enterprise and its trade competitors operating in Voronezh. The obtained results of the author's methodology for assessing the competitiveness of a trading enterprise have practical significance; the proposed model can be adapted according to the criteria for selecting indicators and their quantitative indicator, which contributes to the use of this toolkit in future studies of the competitiveness of trading enterprises.

Restructuralization in traditional understanding is considered for solution of crisis situation in an enterprise. However, it is important to emphasize that restructuralization shouldn’t be connected only with crisis situation in enterprises. In present time the restructuralization has become a tool enabling revaluation of present enterprising activities and to relocate sources towards increasing the enterprise performance. This paper is focused on substance of restructuralization based on process approach that can enable to optimalize enterprise structure and process and increase competitiveness of an enterprise. Results of research in Slovak and Czech enterprises showed that implementation of process management components by realization of strategic changes enabled to achieve the increase of business performance. Opinions of experts as also experiences of enterprises with realization of changes supported process approach as a basic condition for successful restructuralization. In paper we pay attention especially to effects of enterprise’s restructuralization with emphasis on process approach to restructuralization management which is more effective in comparison with function approach.

Production management is the main meaning of enterprise in production and management. Good production management can improve the efficiency of companies working, effectively manage the information of production process, and improve the overall competitiveness of enterprises. The production competition is the one of main task of the enterprise and the reason for it to survive in the fierce market economy competition. An enterprise that stands out from the market is recognized by the public and accepted by consumers, relying not only on the brand shaping of the enterprise, but also on the competitiveness of the enterprise's product production. To provide high-quality products and sufficient inventory for consumers and society has become an important factor for enterprises to base themselves on the market. The main aim of this article is to attract the attention of enterprise managers in the market and determine factors of effective management of the enterprise. Also in our research, we discuss competitiveness of production as a determining factor of effective management of the enterprise in market conditions. There are many factors that affect enterprises to gain competitive advantage. They are summarized as follows: production management cost, quality, flexibility, time, service and environmental protection. We discuss the characteristics of enterprise from the two aspects of the production and operation of the output factors management and the environmental element management: how to improve the production and operation management so as to improve the competitiveness of the enterprise. The thought method of the advanced production and operation management, the enterprises constantly inspect and improve the defects existing in the production and operation system in order to provide the market with a low price in time. High quality and diverse products or services, occupying a larger market share. The managers of the enterprise attach importance to the production competition, which is the first step in the operation of the enterprise, which will help the enterprise to stand in the invincible position. In order to improve the market value of the product, the platform enterprise often participates in the development process of supporting product of emerging industry’s platform innovation ecosystem. This paper puts forward a revenue sharing contract between the platform company and the supporting company by creating a collaborative development model of the supporting product in the ecosystem, and this paper studies the platform enterprise investment resource property's (complementary or substitution) impact on the supporting enterprise R&D efforts and the revenue sharing factor and analyzes collaborative development mechanism of supporting product of emerging industry platform innovation ecosystem. The research indicates that when platform enterprise and supporting enterprise's resources are complementary, the supporting enterprise R&D effort level and revenue sharing coefficient increase as the platform company’s investment increases. When platform enterprise and supporting enterprise's resources are substitutive, the supporting enterprise’s R&D effort level and revenue sharing coefficient decrease as the platform company’s investment increases.

The relevance of the research topic is explained by the fact that the existence of various approaches to the assessment of the level of sustainability of an enterprise’s development predetermines possible difficulties when enterprises choose a methodology and criteria for estimation of this category. Thus, the purpose of this article is the research of categorical aspects of the sustainability of an enterprise’s development and a characteristic of the principles and approaches adopted in relation to the term “controlling of the sustainable development of an enterprise”. In this article, the sustainable development of an enterprise is considered in terms of several aspects. A contentious issue is the following: what kind of sustainability does the controlling system of an enterprise provide? In this regard, analysis of the content of the aspects of each type of sustainability is performed. In addition, an assumption is made that controlling ensures the sustainable development of an enterprise by performing the following functions: preventive, adaptive, coordinating, analytical, organizational, instrumental, informational, and prognostic; the content and economic directionality of each function are disclosed. In the course of characterization of the effective controlling indicator of the sustainability of an enterprise’s development, the main principles that should guide the development of this indicator are identified; its main criteria are highlighted. The research notes that a complex assessment of the sustainability of the development of enterprises in modern conditions requires the necessity of considering the sustainability of the economic system from financial and economic aspects. Based on the results of the research, a conclusion is made that the creation of criteria for assessing the indicator of controlling of sustainable development of an enterprise will significantly increase the efficiency of the controlling system at industrial enterprises and therefore is more than necessary.

This study investigates the relationship between social enterprises’ social orientation and the organizational commitment of their employees. The study also examines differences in organizational commitment between Millennial social enterprise employees and social enterprise employees of earlier generations. The findings from the study indicate that a social enterprise’s pursuit of social purpose, shared decision- making, and social performance are all positively associated with the organizational commitment of its employees. Additionally, the findings suggest that, in general, Millennials have a lower level of organizational commitment to their social enterprise employer than do earlier generations. Indeed, the organizational commitment of Millennials, we find, is primarily (and significantly) influenced only by shared decision-making. These findings contribute to the literature on social enterprise as well as to the literature on organizational commitment by providing insight into unseen aspects of social enterprise management from the perspective of employees. From a practical standpoint, these findings provide social entrepreneurs and managers of social enterprises with practical guidance on how to improve their employees’ organizational commitment.

Introduction. In terms of the ISO 22301 requirements about ensuring the enterprise continuity under the increasing external environment variability, it is necessary to form control contours for maintaining the reorganization sustainability of corporate enterprises and their integrated associations. The purpose of scientific research is to develop theoretical and methodological bases for ensuring the sustainability of the reorganization of the activities of integrated associations of corporate enterprises. Results. The corporate architecture concept usage to ensure the sustainability of the enterprise activities reorganization has been proposed. The connection between the enterprise activities reorganization, its reorganization as a legal entity, and the redistribution of corporate control have been determined. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), the architectural modeling language Archimate, and the OMG Essence standard (the kernel and Language for Software Engineering Methods) have been used as the research's methodological basis. The author's approach specific distinction is the program of enterprise activities reorganization subordination to the vision of key stakeholders about the list of practices used to create consumer value. The possibility of maintaining the stability reorganization of the enterprise and its activities by using the concept of successful organizational transformations has been reflected. The practical significance of the developed technology of the reorganization sustainability is laid in providing business entities the tools for matching critical elements of the current and future enterprise’s business model. This matching gives to the enterprise management possibility to develop the organizational transformation program. Conclusions. The proposed technology of enterprise reorganization sustainability ensuring is focused on creating a successful socio-economic system and based on taking into account the interests of main stakeholders. However, the presented technology reveals only a higher level of corporate enterprise activity organization. Therefore, the prospects for further author’s research consist of detailing particular enterprise architecture elements and forming a model basis for their coordinated development. In response to the ecological and environmental problems caused by high energy consumption and pollution, Chinese governments have raised their concerns and tighten the regulations. Even though local governments have achieved certain degree of success during policy implementation, it is still far from realizing the ultimate goal. Our study fills the gap in the existing literature by exploring the dynamic effects of environmental regulations on enterprises’ green total factor productivity (GTFP) from the perspective of enterprise bargaining power. With data obtained from the industrial pollution database and the Chinese industrial enterprise database, we calculated the GTFP at enterprise level using the Luenberger productivity index. The results from balanced panel data models show that environmental regulations would have negative impacts on enterprise’s GTFP in the short run. However, in the long run, the implementation of environmental policies would achieve the win-win goal in terms of enterprises competitiveness and environmental protection. In addition, indicated by industrial output, tax revenue and number of employees, enterprise bargaining power could weaken the dynamic effects of environmental regulations. Moreover, state ownership, local official changes and weak political constraints would enhance enterprise’s bargaining power and thus reduce the dynamic effects. By focusing on the enterprise’s bargaining power and its heterogeneous factors during policy implementation, our study provides implications for mitigating distortions and improving GTFP.

Introduction. When planning socially responsible activities, the management of the company faces a problem. The impact of such activities on the resource system and the potential of the enterprise is ambiguous and difficult to assess. On the one hand, socially responsible activities have a positive effect on the image of the enterprise, but on the other hand, they require additional expenditures of the enterprise's resources (since these measures are in essence aimed at ensuring an increased level of satisfaction of the interests of a wide range of stakeholders). This fact complicates the planning of socially responsible activities of the enterprise. As a consequence, enterprise management needs tools in the form of economic and mathematical models that would allow: to evaluate the impact of socially responsible activities on different types of enterprise resources and on its potential as a whole; to make decisions on planning of socially responsible activity of the enterprise on the basis of consideration of the task of reproduction of potential of the enterprise. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to develop a concept for building model support for the planning of socially responsible enterprise activity, taking into account the impact of such activity on the enterprise's potential. Results. To achieve this goal in the work on the basis of the analysis of the theory and practice of corporate social responsibility, formulated the concept that formulate requirements for model support for planning socially responsible activities of the enterprise. According to this concept, the planning of socially responsible activities should be based on an assessment of the enterprise's potential and its dynamics. In order to obtain a more accurate assessment of the impact of socially responsible enterprise activity on different types of resources and enterprise potential, model support for planning processes should include patterns of enterprise stakeholder behavior, taking into account the stakeholder social responsibility factor and the dynamics of the characteristics of their relations with the enterprise. Conclusions. The proposed developments are aimed at enhancing the validity of planning of socially responsible activities of enterprises.

The top management team (TMT) is a key resource for an enterprise’s sustainability, and the study of TMT characteristics is very important to explain the factors involved in an enterprise’s development. In order to comprehensively evaluate the impact of TMT characteristics on enterprise performance in China, the effect of average characteristics and vertical dyad characteristics of TMTs on enterprises performance was researched in this paper. This study is based on upper echelon theory, the similarity–attraction paradigm, and social categorization theory, stemming from the dual perspectives of social psychology and social politics. The concept of chairperson–TMT vertical dyad similarity is first proposed as a TMT characteristic, and the effect of vertical dyad similarity on enterprise performance is empirically analyzed using panel data from 235 manufacturing small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) samples. The findings demonstrated that TMT average tenure, TMT age vertical dyad similarity, and tenure vertical dyad similarity have a significant positive effect on enterprise performance, while TMTs’ other average characteristics and chairperson–TMT vertical dyad differences have no significant effect on enterprise performance.

Scholars and practicing lawyers alike consider legal entities to be essential. Who can imagine running a large business without using a business organization, such as a corporation or partnership? This Article challenges conventional wisdom by showing that vast enterprises—with millions of customers paying trillions of dollars—often operate without any meaningful use of entities. This Article introduces the reciprocal exchange, a type of insurance company that operates without any meaningful use of a legal entity. Instead of obtaining insurance from a common nexus of contract, customers directly insure one another through a dense web of bilateral agreements. While often overlooked or conflated with mutual insurance companies, reciprocal exchanges include some of America’s largest and best-known insurance enterprises. This Article explores how it is possible to run an international conglomerate with essentially no recourse to organizational law as it is normally conceived, and it then draws out the important implications of these findings. The viability of reciprocal exchanges stands as a powerful foil to the academic consensus that legal entities are somehow essential, while nevertheless validating the underlying logic that led scholars to elevate entities in the first place.

In this study, it was aimed to determine the ways of supplying breeding animals for sheep enterprises in Ordu. In the research, enterprises with a minimum size of 80 heads have been taken into consideration. Random selection method was used in determining the enterprises and face-to-face surveys were conducted in 86 enterprises. 37.21% of the enterprise owners met their breeding coach needs from their own enterprises, while 33.72% met from their own enterprise + neighboring enterprises. Moreover, it was determined that 52.33% of the enterprise owners met their breeding female animal needs from their own enterprise, whereas 22.08% and 12.79% met from their own enterprise + neighboring enterprise and from their own enterprise + state enterprise, respectively. According to the results, 58.14% of breeders (50 enterprises) keep breeding female animals for more than 5 years in the herd and 41.86% of breeders (36 enterprises) keep them between 3-5 years. Breeding male animals are kept in the herd for more than 5 years in 47.67% of enterprises (41 enterprises) and for 3-5 years in 41.86% of enterprises (36 enterprises). In only 10.47% of enterprises, breeding male animals are used in the herd as breeding for less than 3 years.

The article is aimed at examining the peculiarities of development and implementation of values management as the main component of the corporate culture of enterprise in modern conditions of competition in both the world and the domestic markets. The article analyzes the concept of value, also the ideology and civilizational world-view related to the values. An analysis of the concept of corporate culture is made, as well as the basic principles of culture of organizations and enterprises are highlighted. Management levels at enterprises are considered. The main characteristics of values management and corporate culture are highlighted. Bright examples of creating effective, outstanding corporate cultures are given (Zappos and Semco companies). The algorithm for development and implementation of the value system at the enterprise is also provided. Building up a corporate culture and implementing the core corporate values are substantiated on the example of JSC «Kharkivske instrumentalne pidpryiemstvo». To improve the corporate culture, based on the experience of the best world and Ukrainian enterprises, it is proposed to characterize the ideal look of the future enterprise; outline the mission (purpose of the enterprise); decide on the following: values (ideals, convictions, important things, values of the enterprise’s staff); rules, norms of conduct of employees of the enterprise; management manner and personnel policy; rules, traditions, procedures and the order adopted at the enterprise or organization; heroes, myths and history of the enterprise; socio-psychological climate in the team; interaction between employees of the same and different departments; corporate symbols in the form of external paraphernalia.

Abstract With the continuous development of economy, the bottleneck problem of environmental resources has become increasingly prominent. Enterprise environmental governance technology innovation incentive has become an important issue for the development of government, society and enterprises. Under the control of enterprise’s expected economic target, this paper discusses the synergistic incentive effect of environmental policy and green finance on enterprise’s environmental governance technology innovation decision by using nonlinear programming model. The results show that when the funds for environmental governance technological innovation are insufficient, there is an optimal decision space to use green financial loans to implement technological innovation and upgrade, and then achieve the expected economic goals; Under a given level of environmental governance technology, environmental policies affect whether enterprises can make decisions on technological innovation and upgrading of environmental governance; Green financial mechanism will not. However, when the enterprise makes the decision of environmental governance technology upgrading, it will affect the enterprise’s decision on green financial loan amount. The results of the study have guiding significance for the formulation of environmental policy and green financial policy, as well as the decision-making of enterprise environmental governance technology innovation and upgrading.

The purpose of the article is to structure the strategic, tactical and operational levels of management of industrial enterprises, as well as the choice of the optimal strategy. The carried out study helped to identify that the key requirement for any system is the presence of a link between the strategic and operational management of an enterprise. Precisely the connection between strategic and operational management is one of the most difficult problems that industrial enterprises need to solve, because many of them have a gap between strategic and operational management. The causes of such problems may be different, but the main one is the lack of an effective system for bringing the enterprise management strategy to employees and the undeveloped process of linking strategy and operational management. New forms of management, based on the use of an integral criterion for the formation of the complex value of an enterprise to assess the efficiency of managerial decisions, ensure the development and implementation of a single management strategy of the enterprise, which covers the following interrelated components: financial, marketing, production, investment, and personnel. This approach provides «total» management of the enterprise as a single object, while managerial decisions are made taking into account all significant aspects of the internal and external spheres of the enterprise's activity. Our proposed strategy for managing an industrial enterprise on the basis of complex value allows us to identify for each subsystem its technological, organizational and information inputs and outputs, link them in a single system of organizational and economic indicators and develop uniform requirements for making managerial decisions based on the complex value of the enterprise. The strategy involves using approaches to solving problems of multicriterial optimization, aimed at effective coordination of options for choosing a model for the formation of the complex value of the enterprise in certain areas of the enterprise's activities and finding the optimal solution for the enterprise in general.

Being at the forefront of China’s regional innovation and development, enterprises in the National Innovation Demonstration Zones must take the lead in completing high-quality transformation and upgrading. In this study, we use data from 1770 manufacturing companies from China’s 21 National Innovation Demonstration Zones. Based on the multi-factor influence model, we quantitatively study a series of factors that affect enterprise transformation and upgrading capability in terms of innovation-driven input, economically beneficial output, regional high-quality development, and the enterprise’s basic environment. The research results show a good trend in enterprise transformation and upgrading capability, and 45% of the enterprises have higher capabilities than the average of these zones. There are significant differences in these capabilities across the different National Innovation Demonstration Zones. Economically beneficial output has a relatively large impact on enterprise transformation and upgrading capability, while innovation-driven input, regional high-quality development, and the enterprise’s basic environment all have a relatively small impact. We suggest that the National Innovation Demonstration Zones and relevant departments should provide policy guarantees for enterprise transformation and upgrading in terms of regional systems, industrial chain layout, and soft environment optimization, so as to fully enable policy benefits from top-level design.

This explanatory research aims to analyze the managerial influence of village-owned enterprise, Usaha Praja, toward the performance and the implication for the villagers’ welfare in Doplang, Bawen district, Semarang regency. The researcher took 100 respondents purposively as the sample from the village community. The results showed that the management significantly influenced the village-owned enterprise’s performance. The village-owned enterprise's performance influenced the village community’s welfare. Then, the village-owned enterprise’s management significantly influenced the community’s welfare. The contribution of the village-owned enterprise’s management and performance was 61.7%. The performance could mediate the correlation between the management and the community's welfare. The village-owned enterprise must encourage the community to support the village-owned enterprise's management with innovative and local-signature products.

Introduction. Today Ukrainian enterprises operate under difficult economic conditions, which have developed against the background of the constant increase in the cost of raw materials, energy tariffs, changing geopolitical situation, difficult political situation in the country, which is why most of the enterprises struggle for survival instead of development. Against this background, competition with foreign producers is aggravated, accompanied by a narrowing of the domestic market.Given the complex economic conditions of Ukrainian enterprises, their success today depends on the effectiveness of management in these conditions. Businesses require a modern business process management tool designed to adapt to new challenges and find ways to mitigate the effects of external factors. The economic development of the enterprise is conditioned by the progress of information technologies, the emergence of innovative forms of management, new principles of division of labor, etc. Changes in the management of business entities now require new scientific and methodological approaches, from which the enterprise is regarded as a set of business processes. One of the modern ways of improving the business system is the attraction of external contractors, which is solved by the introduction of outsourcing and allows to increase the efficiency of the enterprise and its competitiveness in the market.Hypothesis. Assessing the readiness of an enterprise to implement outsourcing provides validity of the management decision on outsourcing of business processes and helps to increase the efficiency of utilization of the enterprise's potential.The purposeof this article is to develop a methodological approach to assessing the degree of readiness of the enterprise to implement business process outsourcing to improve the efficiency of the enterprise in the current economic environment and to strengthen its competitive position in the domestic and international markets.Research methods. The methodological basis of the research is a system of general scientific and special methods, the main of which are: dialectical approach, methods of classification and systematization, analysis and synthesis, statistical and logical analysis, concretization, expert assessments and economic and mathematical modeling.Results. A methodical approach to assessing the degree of readiness of an enterprise to use outsourcing in business process management is offered, which, unlike the existing ones, makes it possible to substantiate the outsourcing decision taking into account the existing potential of the enterprise with a greater degree of certainty.Conclusions. As a result of the research, the problem of scientific and methodological substantiation of the enterprise's readiness for implementation of business process outsourcing at the enterprise was solved. This methodological approach enables the management of a number of indicators and the appropriate scale to assess the degree of readiness – the sufficiency of the enterprise's capacity to implement outsourcing and to overcome the risks associated with it. The proposed approach enhances the effectiveness of the management decision to outsource, is versatile and can be used in the practice of any enterprise that plans or already uses outsourcing in business.

Electronic business activities of enterprise are changing the value creation process on every link of enterprise supply chain based on the rapid development of information technology. Constant innovations of electronic business model has had a powerful impact upon the traditional business model, and produced complicated influences on ERP platform interface of the enterprises and suppliers. Based on the value chain perspective, this paper makes data analysis by applying panel data model to electronic business model and enterprise informatization construction situation. The results show that the information construction of the case enterprise has promotive effect in analyzing the profitability of B2B, BMC and B2G models. Enterprise's information construction has limited positive facilitation to B2C mode, and negative effects may emerge because of cost problem.

Under economic fluctuations, the sustainable development of enterprises is crucial. Currently, there are few studies on the interaction between economic policy uncertainty (EPU) and the sustainable development behavior of enterprises. Based on a panel vector autoregressive (PVAR) model, this paper explores the static and dynamic interactions among EPU, enterprise investment, and enterprise profitability and then analyzes regional heterogeneity in these factors. It finds that EPU has an inhibitory effect on the investment and profitability of enterprises, while the investment and profitability of enterprises also have an inhibitory effect on EPU. In addition, there are contribution differences and regional differences in the degrees of influence of the three factors. In the long run, EPU and the inhibition of enterprise investment and profitability are strongest in China’s central region. The results show that the stronger the certainty of economic policy, the more conducive this policy is to promoting enterprise investment behavior and improving enterprise profitability. Therefore, to ensure normal economic development, the government should limit changes in economic policy as much as possible; doing so is critical for promoting investment behavior and improving the profitability of enterprises.

The article examines the problems of information provision of tourism and hotel enterprises. Despite a sufficiently large number of studies in this area, the problems of information provision of tourism industry enterprises seem hardly to have been elaborated appropriately, therefore the study of this issue appears relevant. The purpose of the article is to study the existing state of information provision of enterprises of tourism and hotel business and to develop directions for its improvement. Based on the analysis and generalization of approaches to the definition of information provision (IP), its essence, basic principles and composition are formulated. It is proved that in the difficult present conditions, economic information is of particular importance, that’s why the creation of an economic information system is a condition and factor of effective work and achievement of maximum profitability. The stages of creating an economic information system for a travel industry enterprise are determined. The indicators that can form the information base of the enterprise are proposed, which are presented as the most efficient and of particular importance instrument for monitoring the economic activity of the enterprise of tourism and hotel business. The tasks of the information activity of the travel industry enterprise are defined, which consists in obtaining, systematizing and using the most reliable, accurate information about the state of the external and internal environment of the enterprise. The conception of information management of the travel industry enterprise is developed, which involves the management of external and internal information, information and analytical base, and the introduction of information principles in the process of improving the enterprise’s activities. As a result of the carried out study, it is determined that, despite of provision if the activities of the travel industry enterprise with complete, reliable, operational information, the management of information provision of the enterprise is impossible without the introduction of an automation and computerization instrumentarium.

The gradual demise of the command-administrative management system determines the relevance of the study of the peculiarities of the development of the methodological basis for managing the development of industrial enterprises in terms of modern management. The article highlights the features of managing the development of industrial enterprises in the context of globalization, as the adoption of the methodology of sustainable development, which is based on the principles of socially responsible activities of enterprises; increasing the weight of management of changes and constraints in the overall management system of enterprise development; increasing the role of informal tools in building a methodology for evaluating directions, as well as methods of strategic forecasting and planning of enterprise development; abandonment of management decisions in the short term in favor of long-term strategic decisions; decentralization of enterprise management and dissemination of collective decision-making methods; improving marketing management as one of the decisive factors in increasing the competitiveness of enterprises, their investment attractiveness. The interpretation of the enterprise’s evolvement as a process of acquiring new qualitative, quantitative or structural properties of the socio-economic system, which involves a change in the parameters of its state and the acquisition of equilibrium, is elaborated. The system is transformed through the growth, activation or structuring of the constituent elements. The author considers relationship between the concepts of «innovation» and «development» as complex categories that need to be clearly delineated and closer defined. The factors limiting the ability of enterprises to increase production include: prices for the raw and expendable materials, cost of energy, tax pressure, lack of working capital, insufficient effective demand of domestic consumers, high competition in the commodity market. The key internal factors that affect the development of the enterprise are its existing potential, functional activity of the organization and the effectiveness of enterprise development. Innovation remains an important sign of development – necessary, but insufficient for its implementation. The key factors influencing the management of enterprise development include the mission, vision, values and policies, plan and program of enterprise development.

This paper first portrays the equilibrium payoff of enterprise’s cooperation of environmental governance based on the Cournot model. Secondly, the evolutionary game model in complex networks is adopted to depict the evolution of environmental governance cooperative behavior among enterprises. Further, the evolutionary process of environmental governance cooperative behavior of enterprises is simulated considering the supervision behavior of government and the reputation evaluation behavior of environmental social organization. The results show that the cooperation level of enterprise group under self-organization condition will reach a low level; the supervision of government can enhance the cooperation level of enterprise group with high betrayal tempatation while it has limited effect on enterprise group with low betrayal tempatation. The reputation evaluation behavior of environmental social organization can realize reputation effect to improve the the cooperation level of enterprise group with high betrayal tempatation. The enhance of reputation sensitivity can optimize equilibrium distribution of reputation and it can strengthen the reputation effect on cooperation level. Based on the analysis above, the suggestions to effectively improve cooperation level are given.

By introducing information technology into enterprise accounting auditing, it is possible to improve the efficiency of enterprise accounting auditing and to ensure the accuracy of enterprise auditing. This article starts with the status quo of enterprise accounting auditing in the information age. Then, it analyses the current risks of enterprise accounting audit and puts forward some suggestions to prevent the risks. The object of research: corporate image and enterprise economic security.
Investigated problem: methodical approach to mutually agreed management of enterprise’s image and its economic security.
The main scientific results: theoretical analysis of the opinions, which are presented in the scientific literature of enterprise economic security functional components and the mechanism of their formation, is carried out. The functional components of economic security related to the internal and external aspects of enterprise are studied in detail, and their close relationship with image components is determined. The stages of enterprise image management are schematically shown with taking into account the compliance of image economic security components levels.
The area of practical use of the research results: the need to adhere to certain sequence of actions aimed at forming a positive image and managing it in enterprises is emphasized. It is advisable to use an approach to the formation of corporate image with taking into account the targeted influence of management entities on the business environment.
Technological innovation: the enterprise economic security structure in the context of modern tendencies is proposed, the complex of measures which are recommended to be applied for enterprise image maintenance is determined.
Scope of application for technological innovation: practical activity of Ukrainian enterprises is in interconnection with other business environment participants.

The functioning of most medium-sized, small and large enterprises in today's realities remains at a low level of professionalism. Many business executives do not pay enough attention to analytical work, do not develop new strategies and do not improve the proposal related to crisis management. Only the enterprise management of the adequate level of qualification can avoid all the negative consequences of the crisis. The main task of enterprises is to comply with the requirements of the enterprise anti-crisis policy, namely the calculation of financial ratios that reflect its financial stability. The coefficients allow to consider the company from different sides, among which the most important in the implementation of anti-crisis management are: the efficiency of current assets using, own and borrowed funds, using of production potential, effective management in the enterprise, the dynamics of production and sales of products, depreciation of fixed assets, using of investment capital. In addition to monitoring indicators, crisis management involves identifying problem areas in the enterprise and developing measures to eliminate them. The final part of the enterprise's anti-crisis policy is the implementation of these measures, which prevents the bankruptcy of the enterprise at the stage of possible threats and problems. Unfortunately, modern entrepreneurs neglect this measure and therefore find themselves in a difficult financial and managerial situation. Another issue of crisis management is the issue of securities, which allows to raise additional funds used by the enterprise as a means of eliminating possible bankruptcy. This process is a means of lending in today's realities that is more effective than loans made through the banking system. In today's market economy, business development is the driving force, so we believe that the topic of crisis management is relevant, because such measures are developing enterprises, which in turn develops the economic sectors and the country's economy. Governments worldwide have introduced various tax mechanisms to foster enterprise innovation, which in turn affect enterprise performance. To promote the innovation level of domestic enterprises, China has adopted an innovation-driven strategy policy. Based on China’s manufacturing company data from 2007 to 2017, this article constructs a mediating effect model to study the direct effect of tax incentives and government subsidies on enterprise performance and the mediating effect of innovation on enterprise performance. We use RIF regression to investigate the difference between the effect of industrial subsidies on promoting technological innovation and enterprise performance. The study finds that tax incentives and government subsidies encourage enterprise performance through innovation, with the mediating effect accounting for about 34.5% and 16.8%, respectively. Industrial subsidies play a more obvious role in improving the innovation performance of high-tech enterprises. There is no significant difference in tax incentives on the performance of large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises. Moreover, government subsidies play an essential role in promoting the performance of large enterprises. Furthermore, with the increase in quantile, the impact of tax incentives and government subsidies on innovation is getting more extensive and more significant. Innovation has an increasing effect on enterprise performance, the effects of tax incentives on enterprise performance are becoming less and smaller, and the nexus of government subsidies and enterprise performance is generally unchanged. Therefore, implementing appropriate tax incentives and government subsidies for enterprise innovation is essential for improving enterprise performance, especially for high-tech enterprises. Enterprise size should not be used as a criterion for the government to implement tax incentives, although government subsidies tend to support large enterprises.
