Texto completo da fonteResearch on linguistic borrowing has long been dominated, in France as elsewhere, by the synchronic sociolinguistics paradigm in which it has taken shape, but has recently made significant progress, notably thanks to the promising results obtained by works combining the synchronic methods of sociolinguistics with a meticulous historical-philological approach, observant of both internal and external factors at play in a language contact situation. It is precisely along the lines of these works that our research aims to follow. The current state of knowledge on French culinary Italianisms would greatly benefit from such an in-depth study, since the lexicographical description of these lexical units is still mostly limited to etymological considerations. Our work aims at completing the description of language, as it is represented in lexicography, with the observation of its use in discourse(s), by exploiting the richness of textual databases, which make it now possible to trace more faithfully, and more easily, the evolution of language in time and space, and thereby to provide a better lexicographical description

Texto completo da fonteThis thesis deals with Maurizio Cucchi’s poetry, studied from a comparative and intertextual perspective. Its aim is to understand how the European literature influenced Cucchi’s poetical work and how the intertextual criticism has been received by the Italian poet for his own writing. As a result, the thesis underlines the existence of three types of literary references: direct or meta quotations and shared atmospheres with some authors who have been considered essential for Cucchi’s literary formation. These references make Cucchi’s work open to European and universal literature as well as to contemporaneity

Texto completo da fonteThis thesis is a linguistic study of the international lexicon of homosexuality, taking as its central assumption that internationalisms are the product of lexical borrowing and must be studied in a historical comparative perspective. Following a critical review of different approaches to loanword studies (philological vs. sociolinguistic), which places the problem within the more general realm of the neologism, the aim was to assess to what extent the shared homosexual lexicon in several European languages – French, Italian, Spanish, English and German – results from borrowing (loanwords or calques), by testing the hypothesis that most of these denominations can be traced back to a single origin, rather than being independently constructed. The path of each lexeme in each language is followed in order to highlight the points of contact between languages. The nomenclature consists of 13 monographic series: sodomy, against nature, buggery, bardash (with berdache), tribade, pederasty, sapphism, lesbian, uranism, inversion, homosexuality (with heterosexuality, bisexuality, transsexuality), gay, queer. Each series is divided by language so that the representatives of each of the five languages are treated on their own terms. Through a wealth of textual examples – many never before studied – and an analysis drawing on a comprehensive reading of the lexicography and major secondary sources, this thesis presents numerous corrections, clarifications, antedatings and discoveries on the lexicon under study

Belletti, Giulia. "Etat et politique fiscale : Venise, Bergame et ses vallées". Thesis, Paris 4, 2012. http://www.theses.fr/2012PA040154.
Texto completo da fonteThe analysis of the local fiscal policies of the autonomous communities of the Val Seriana during the XV and XVI centuries proves the existence of a three-sided, asymmetrical equilibrium between the Republic of Venice, the Commune of Bergamo and local powers. Whilst the Town manages to influence the communities' choices from a marginalised position, the Republic and the latter share a pact that benefits them respectively in fiscal revenues and protection of autonomy. This relationship will strenghten in time, through the transformations of the Venetian fiscal system (late XV century) that will put more emphasis on extraordinary revenues and monetisation of military corvées. These radical changes combined with the financial strain coming from the renewed war engagement in Italy and in the East that will increase Venetian fiscal demand, will locally set a trend for the development around communal finances of a new apparatus, replacing the old system based on customs. Though beneficial for the whole community, this system will be largely managed by local governing families; its roots will be public borrowing from private businessmen (often, relations to the members of the political management) and the commercialisation of a portion of the communal properties

Texto completo da fonteThis text is an analysis of the progessive disappear terms of French origin in Neapolitan dialect . It is a linguistic phenomenon that in recent times there has been more intensively. The research is divided into five chapters in which they are analyzed the texts of traditional and neomelodic Neapolitan music. The basic thesis is that the Neapolitan dialect, over time, has seen an increasing reduction of terms of French origin: the music of the neomelodic singers of latest generation has little in common with the nineteenth century Neapolitan dialect. It is characterized by an essential language, where the phonetic element prevails over the graphic form. The sound is more important than the written word. The Neapolitan dialect, used in music, has been increasingly influenced by the Anglo-Saxon spoken
