Internal control tools constitute one of the modern frameworks approved by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO). "And the one which takes into account setting the objectives first, then estimating the possibility of those objectives being exposed to threats, then internal control procedures are designed that reduce the risks, and at the same time provide reasonable guarantees for achieving the organization's objectives and introducing all modern developments into the system. The contemporary trend of internal control focuses on the integration between managing the risks to which the organization is exposed and the internal control frameworks (Enterprise Risk Management- Integrated Framework) and its abbreviation (ERM), which provides the organization Management in conditions of uncertainty related to risks and their probabilities to be able to create and preserve value. The continuous developments in internal control systems, on the one hand, and competition between economic units, on the other hand, have led to many challenges through the use of modern technology and the innovation of new methods of development, which required the development of all sub-systems of control, including internal control systems, and then review the internal control structure and the extent of its acceptance of this computer-based technology and the effectiveness of its devices in providing information that supports the system's ability to adopt it. Based on this, the research topic was divided into five sections. The first section dealt with the research methodology, the second section dealt with the theoretical framework of the internal control system, and the third section dealt with the problems and limits of using electronic computers. The fourth section was devoted to studying the impact of using computers. The electronic section focuses on the components of the internal control system, while the fifth section is dedicated to stating the most important conclusions and recommendations.

What we understand is dependant on how we understand, by what means. With this in mind the electronic communication environment impact can be understood differently. The author singles out and interrelates lineality and simultaneity as the two competing modes of reasoning, whose application leads to strikingly contrasting results. The figure/ground approach, as it is practiced by contemporary researchers, allows to operate in the field more adequately. This fact is very important to know taking into consideration both its managerial potential and the educational promises. To add, the students today are known to be greatly influenced by the synchronous mode of perception and thinking as it is readily offered by electronic gadgets. On the other hand, they are often seen being estranged by the literary establishment's approaches still in use. In other words, there have emerged whole clusters of new problems in this respect both for the teachers and the studies themselves. To deal with them successfully, our task is to increasingly concentrate on renovating our electronic experiences communicating with the students to overcome the forthcoming difficulties in the process of promoting the new educational agenda and getting them adequately prepared for the new challenges of the electronic communication world. At to the notions which may be of great importance with this in mind, they include information retrieval, pattern recognition and interfacing, to name for the beginning just a few of them.

The objective of this paper is to assess the environmental impact of electric vehicles (EVs) and provide an overview of the current research in this field. This paper includes a literature review of various research studies on the impact of EVs on the environment, including their impact on air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and resource use. The findings of this paper suggest that EVs have the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality, but their overall environmental impact depends on factors such as the source of electricity used to power them, and the materials used in their production. This research paper proposes a theoretical framework for assessing the environmental impact of electric vehicles (EVs). The framework is based on a systems approach, which considers the interrelated environmental, economic, and social factors that are affected by the introduction of EVs. The framework includes an analysis of the life cycle of EVs, including their production, use, and disposal, and considers the impacts of these stages on the environment. The proposed framework can serve as a guide for future research on the environmental impact of EVs. The paper highlights the environmental benefits and drawbacks of EVs, focusing on their impact on air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and resource use. The review concludes that EVs have the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but their environmental benefits depend on factors such as the source of electricity used to power them and the materials used in their production.

This article focuses on a realistic mathematical model for multiple impacts of a rigid body to a viscoelastic ground and its comparison to theoretic results. The methodology is used to study impact on an electronic device. When an electronic device drops to the floor at an uneven level, the rapid successions of impact sequence are important for their shock response to internal structure of the devices. A three-dimensional, continuous contact, computational impact model has been developed to simulate a sequence of multiple impacts of a falling rigid body with the ground. The model simulates the impact procedure explicitly and thus is capable of providing detailed information regarding impact load, impact contact surface, and the status of the body during the impact. For the purposes of model verification, we demonstrate the numerical simulation of a falling rod problem, in which the numerical results are in good agreement with the analytic solutions based on discrete contact dynamics impact models. It is indicated by the numerical experiments that simultaneous impacts occurred to multiple locations of the body and that subsequent impacts might be larger than initial ones due to different angles of impact. The differential equation-based computational model is shown to be realistic and efficient in simulating impact sequence and laid a foundation for detailed finite element analysis of the interior impact response of an electronic device.

Based on the consideration of various environmental problems caused by human activities, energy transition solutions are starting to emerge. Power electronics will be central to these transitions. The level of knowledge linking power electronics and sustainability remains very limited today, and the study of the environmental impacts tied to the mass-scale deployment of power electronic systems across all sectors of activity is now essential. This study presents the life cycle assessment of a power electronic inverter capable of delivering a power of 150 kW, operating with an average 450 V DC bus for 15 years with 10,000 operating hours. The main hotspots are investigated to offer recommendations to designers. The most important impact highlighted is the depletion of mineral resources. Manufacturing and use are the two subsections with the highest environmental impact. Manufacturing is dominated by the casing and power module (specifically, the electric contacts, baseplate, and die). These results make it possible to orient an eco-design action with technologies capable of creating an evolution in hotspots. However, they also serve to consider scenarios involving a circular economy by setting up maintenance, recycling, and reuse loops in the inverter, combined with modularity and self-diagnostic functions.

Rapid changes in the world of the Internet have led to changes in the electronic markets, especially the speed of information creation compared to normal markets, the reduction of the time between the search and the product, and the ability of the seller and buyer to deal with each other despite the distance between them, The electronic shopping decision depends on the method of payment. This study attempts to measure the effect of e-cards on the decision of e-shopping in Jordan through four aspects, namely: use and reliability, trust and safety, type of e-card and perception. The study reiterated that there is a positive relationship between the use and reliability of electronic cards and the decision of electronic shopping, where the use of electronic cards increases the decision of online shopping, the study also concluded that the type of electronic card and payment method affects the electronic purchase decision (credit card, debit card, prepaid card, cash on delivery).

Abstract Introduction Electronic media devices are ubiquitous in modern society and believed to adversely affect nighttime sleep. Cross-sectional research provides evidence of robust associations but prospective findings are limited and mixed. In this study, we examined the impact of specific types of electronics devices and overall use on objective and subjective sleep parameters the same night across one week. Methods The sample consisted of school-aged children (N=55) between the ages of 7 to 11 years. Hierarchical linear modeling was used to assess the impact of pre-bedtime electronics use on sleep the same night across 5 weekday nights. A sleep diary was used to record pre-bed electronic devices used and subjective sleep parameters. Objective sleep variables were assessed concurrently via actigraphy. Results The usage of different types of electronic media varied significantly between and within children across the five days. However, neither total electronics usage nor any individual type of device was found to significantly predict self-reported or objective sleep parameters the same night. Conclusion The extent to which the use of electronic media specifically within an hour of bedtime impacts sleep in school-aged children remains unclear. Future research should investigate these relationships using more robust methodology, including prospective designs and examination of relevant contextual and environmental factors. Support (if any) This study was funded by the National Institute of Mental Health [grant number #R21 MH099351] awarded to the last author.

The production of electronics and instrumentation is currently based on technologies that can be harmful to the environment. The strategy for the modernization and development of electronic and instrument-making industries in accordance with the requirements of modern environmental legislation includes the development of technological standards based on the best available techniques. The work analyzes the status and development prospects of radio electronics and instrument-making enterprises according to environmental indicators and criteria of the best available techniques. A method for assessing the life cycle of an electronic device is considered as a tool for obtaining data on the environmental impact of its production. In order to develop environmental standards for permissible impacts of electronic and instrument-making industries, a fuzzy linear programming method with probabilistic restrictions has been proposed. On the basis of this method, a model has been formed for a water management system within territorial natural-production complexes, taking the impact on water objects of all water-using enterprises into account. The proposed decision-making algorithm for load normalization allows the company to develop a strategy for planning the volumes of water consumption and water disposal, while considering regional conditions and the influence of other entities of the territorial natural production complex.

This exploratory study examined the impact of age on e-commerce participation and its antecedents: usefulness, ease of information access, and trust. The three age groups considered were the “young” who were 18 to 25, the “mature” who were 50 to 69, and the “elderly” who were 70 and older. Of the three age groups, mature consumers had the highest perception of the usefulness of e-commerce but the lowest perceptions of trust. The elderly perceived less ease of information access and were less likely to participate in electronic commerce than the other age groups. Greater perceptions of usefulness and trust were found to be positively related to participation. In addition, trust had positive impacts on ease of information access and usefulness. While ease of information access had a positive impact on usefulness, it had no direct impact on e-commerce participation.

Experiments on electronic excitation of molecules using positron as incident particle have shown much larger cross sections than in the electron scattering case. The comprehension of these inelastic processes represent a great challenge and only few studies on electronic excitation of molecules are discussed in the literature. For example, for the C6H6 molecule experimental and theoretical calculations are not in a very advanced state same for electron scattering case (Benzene represent a simplest aromatic hydrocarbon and very important chemical compound due to its role as a key precursor in process pharmaceutical). Recent experiments on electronic excitation of C6H6 (1B1u, and 1E1u electronic states) using electron as incident particle are available by Kato et al (J.Chem.Phys.134 134308(2011)). Motivated by their experiments we have taken up the task to investigate the same electronic excitation of C6H6 using positron as incident particle. For the first time, integral cross sections in e+ - C6H6 (1B1u, and 1E1u electronic states) using the scaling Born positron (SBP) approach are reported and in the absence of the experimental data and developments theoretical, comparisons are made with analogous electron scattering. Keywords: Born, positron, scaling

Electronic commerce (E-commerce) as the activity of electronic purchase or sale of products with the help of online services or via the Internet, has experienced its expansion in the last few years. This way of trading gives small companies, or those newly established on the market, the opportunity to do business with low costs, while on the other hand, it allows large business organizations to reach a large number of consumers and to internationalize their business. After the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, many businesses were forced to reorient themselves to electronic commerce. Consumers could only satisfy their needs for basic foodstuffs through electronic commerce, since they had to stay in their homes due to health protection measures. However, consumer habits for electronic commerce persisted even after the crisis, and companies that did not make an adequate and timely transformation towards digital business are now faced with a serious problem of survival on the market.

Objective. To assess the impact of an electronic surveillance system on isolation practices and rates of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).Design.A pre-post test intervention.Setting.Inpatient units (except psychiatry and labor and delivery) in 4 New York City hospitals.Patients.All patients for whom isolation precautions were indicated, May 2009–December 2011.Methods.Trained observers assessed isolation sign postings, availability of isolation carts, and staff use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Infection rates were obtained from the infection control department. Regression analyses were used to examine the association between the surveillance system, infection prevention practices, and MRSA infection rates.Results.A total of 54,159 isolation days and 7,628 staff opportunities for donning PPE were observed over a 31-month period. Odds of having an appropriate sign posted were significantly higher after intervention than before intervention (odds ratio [OR], 1.10 [95% confidence interval {CI}, 1.01–1.20]). Relative to baseline, postintervention sign posting improved significantly for airborne and droplet precautions but not for contact precautions. Sign posting improved for vancomycin-resistant enterococci (OR, 1.51 [95% CI, 1.23–1.86]; P = .0001), Clostridium difficile (OR, 1.59 [95% CI, 1.27–2.02]; P = .00005), and Acinetobacter baumannii (OR, 1.41 [95% CI, 1.21–1.64]; P = .00001) precautions but not for MRSA precautions (OR, 1.11 [95% CI, 0.89–1.39]; P = .36). Staff and visitor adherence to PPE remained low throughout the study but improved from 29.1% to 37.0% after the intervention (OR, 1.14 [95% CI, 1.01–1.29]). MRSA infection rates were not significantly different after the intervention.Conclusions.An electronic surveillance system resulted in small but statistically significant improvements in isolation practices but no reductions in infection rates over the short term. Such innovations likely require considerable uptake time.
