The subject of reflection in this article is the interdependence of the concept of time, which is not in contradiction with the idea of eternity, memory and the “dialogical” soul. The views of J. Ratzinger against the background of the ancient tradition represented by St. Augustin, whose reflection is the basis and starting point of Ratzinger’s concept of time, conceived anthropologically and spiritually. Then, their continuation is presented on the basis of the theological discussion with G. Greshake, in which he criticizes the theory of resurrection in death without the soul, containing the essence of the existence of the human person and its history. At the same time, Ratzinger regards Greshake’s effort to re-understand time as a step forward in understanding the hope of eternal life. A reference to contemporary philosophy presented on the example of Martin Heidegger, whose analyzes and, unfortunately, the closed notions of temporality and being that describe human existence, are included in the background of considerations on eternity. This shows that also on the basis of existential philosophy it is at least possible to be aware of the idea of eternity and God. The above analysis also indicates the need for a new study of the biblical and anthropological foundations of the issue of time – memory, soul and speaking about eternal life in their context.

Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński was not only an “unbreakable Primate”, but above all, a man of dialogue. He was able to meet every person and to talk to them. In his conversations, he listened patiently, he did not impose his opinion and he was mostly trying to seek for common levels of agreement. According to him, the greatest wisdom is to be able to unite, not to divide. The article indicates some sources and forms of this dialogue. It was a supernatural source and a natural one. The first one is a permanent dialogue of the Primate with God, as well as with the Blessed Mother and with saints. Cardinal Wyszyński was a man of deep prayer, and he undeniably took from this source strength for everyday meetings, conversations, and making decisions. The second crucial source was his philosophico-theological education. As a Christian personalist, the Primate took from the achievements of such thinkers as Aristotle, St. Thomas, St. Augustin, as well as J. Maritain, G. Marcel, J. Woroniecki, and W. Korniłowicz. The article discusses some aspects of dialogue with people, taking into account, above all, two social groups: youth, and , and representatives of the communist state power. Presenting Cardinal Wyszyński as a man of dialogue seems to be very useful and topical nowadays because of different controversies and disputes occurring in our state, in our Church and in relationships between the older and the younger generation.

BackgroundPsoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a polymorphic disease, in term of clinical presentation, severity and evolution. Skin lesion precedes joint damage in 84%, therefore, a multidisciplinary approach associating dermatologist and rheumatologist provide an opportunity for earlier diagnosis, more timely therapy and prevention of disability.ObjectivesTo provide Algerian epidemiological data on the Prevalence of undiagnosed PsA among psoriasis patients in dermatology practice. This multicenter screening survey is conduct in order to reduce diagnostic delay and prevent progressive joint involvement and disabilities.MethodsBetween 2019 and 2022, a multicenter cross-sectional trial conducted in four Dermatology Clinics in Algeria (Algiers, Blida, Bechar and Constantine); had recruited patients presenting with plaque psoriasis and no prior rheumatologist-confirmed PsA diagnosis. Patients were screened using the Psoriatic arthritis UnclutteRed screening Evaluation (PURE4) questionnaire and were referred to a rheumatologist for assessment of PsA using classification for psoriatic arthritis criteria CASPAR if they had a PURE 4 score ≥1.Psoriasis characteristics: Body surface area, psoriasis types, area, severity index, and psoriasis disability index tools were used for assessing psoriasis patients.ResultsThe study included 212 patients with psoriasis:64% were male and 36% female. Their median age was 48.12 yr ±11.74. Referring to the type of psoriasis, 72% presented with plaque psoriasis, 16% guttata 6% pustular and 24% with psoriasis of more than one type. Nail disease appeared in 24 % and scalp disease in 26%. PURE 4 was applied to all 212 psoriasis patients; among them n = 53 (25% of all tested patients) had a score ≥1. The sequential application of PURE4 and CASPAR criteria found a prevalence of undiagnosed PsA of 20.28% [95% CI: 9, 23.5]. The PPV of PURE 4 in this setting is 49.23% [95% CI: 39, 67]. Of these patients, 44% of patients with PsA had psoriatic nail disease and scalp involvement seen in 37%. With reference to the PsA type, 30% patients presented with polyarthritis,44% with oligoarthritis,39% with enthésites, dactylitis in 23% and 13%with axial arthritis. The subgroup of patients with PsA had significantly higher rates of obesity (42%) compared to non-PsA. Patients with severe psoriasis(P = 0.001), nail and scalp involvement (P = 0.003) with chronic plaque psoriasis (P = 0.001)associated with obesity (P = 0.0001)were identified as independent positive predictors of PsA.ConclusionScreening for PsA in Algerian patients with psoriasis revealed a significant number of undiagnosed cases (20.28%) that should be treated early. Severe psoriasis nail and scalp involvement, and obesity are factors predicting the PsA development.References[1]Reich K, Krüger K, Mössner R, Augustin M. Charles-Augustin Coulomb published data on the size, strength, and stiffness of harpsichord wire available in Paris in the late 18th century which has not been cited in the literature on musical instruments despite this century's revival of baroque music and the instruments upon which it was played. During an investigation of the internal friction of several antique music wires by means of a torsion pendulum similar to the one invented by Coulomb and first described in the 1784 mémoire (Figure 1), it occurred to us to ask what Coulomb had used as the suspensions in his pendulum. His biographer, C.S. Gillmor, mentioned “harpsichord strings”, and in Coulomb's 1784 Torsion mémoire we found: J'ai pris trois fils de clavcin, tels qu'on les trouve répandus dans le commerce, roulés sur des bobines, et numerotés (“I used three harpsicord wires, such as one finds distributed in commerce, wound up on spools, and numbered”).The spools of wire recently discovered in the stand drawer of a harpsichord in France fit Coulomb's description. The instrument was built in Paris in 1732 by Antoine Vater, and the wire found with it was wound up on small wooden spools similar to spools for thread. The spool of red brass wire had a mark punched in one end and the spool of iron wire had the gauge size (No 5) written on it in ink, while the spool of yellow brass wire had neither mark nor number. Samples of the wires from these three spools, generally agreed to be of 18th century manufacture, were collected by J. Scott Odell of the Smithsonian Institution as part of a research project which he initiated into the physical properties of antique wire. With these samples in hand it was possible to measure certain of their properties and to compare these properties with those reported in Coulomb's Torsion mémoire in 1784. Since Coulomb's wire was undoubtedly of 18th century manufacture (a degree of confidence that we do not always have with collected samples), and the data were taken not long after the wire was drawn, comparison with the Vater wire allows us to detect if, during two centuries, significant changes occur in highly drawn wire.

BackgroundPsoriatic arthritis (PsA) affects up to 30% of individuals with psoriasis. Studies have demonstrated that the presenting disease severity and quality of life impact of psoriasis differs by race/ethnicity in patients with and without PsA, but little is known about disease activity among different racial/ethnic groups [1-3].ObjectivesThe objective of our study was to evaluate disease activity by race/ethnicity among patients with PsA.MethodsWe performed a cross-sectional study of adult (≥18 years old) patients with PsA who had at least one outpatient visit within the University of Pennsylvania health system between 2010 and 2019. Patients with PsA were identified by the presence of at least two International Classification of Diseases (ICD)-9 or ICD-10 codes for PsA associated with two different healthcare encounters. The primary outcome was disease activity as measured by the Routine Assessment of Patient Index Data 3 (RAPID3) assessment. The RAPID3 score is a validated patient-reported measure of physical function, pain, and global status [4]. RAPID3 scores range from 0 to 30, with higher scores indicating greater disease activity. Patients were included if they had at least one documented RAPID3 score. For patients with multiple RAPID3 scores, the median value was used. The primary independent variable was race/ethnicity categorized as White (reference), Black, Asian, Hispanic, or other race. Multivariable linear regression was used to assess the relationship between race/ethnicity and RAPID 3 score.ResultsThe study population included 742 patients. Mean (standard deviation [SD]) age was 47.2 (13.3) years and 57.4% were female. The racial/ethnic distribution was 79.4% White, 7.0% Black, 5.0% Asian, 3.1% Hispanic, 2.6% other race, and 3.0% missing race/ethnicity. The means of the median Rapid3 scores were statistically significantly different across racial/ethnic groups (p<.001): White mean (SD) 9.79 (6.02), Black mean (SD) 14.86 (14.86), Asian mean (SD) 9.79 (5.44), Hispanic mean (SD) 15.09 (7.11), other race mean (SD) 10.57 (6.91). In an adjusted multivariable model controlling for other sociodemographic factors, body mass index, treatment history, and medical comorbidity, Hispanic patients had higher RAPID3 scores compared to White patients, indicating greater disease activity (β 3.36; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.04 – 5.67, p <.005). In exploratory stratified analyses to evaluate effect modification by sex, among males, Black (β 3.43; 95% CI 0.23 – 6.63, p=.04) and Hispanic (β 5.94; 95% CI 2.18 – 9.70, p <.005) patients had higher RAPID3 scores than White patients. Among females, no significant racial/ethnic differences in RAPID3 scores were identified.ConclusionBlack and Hispanic patients report greater disease activity as indicated by higher RAPID3 scores compared to White patients. Larger studies are necessary to confirm our findings and understand the causes of racial/ethnic differences in disease activity among patients with PsA.References[1]Abrouk M, Lee K, Brodsky M, Nakamura M, Singh R, Zhu TH, et al. The challenge of implementing character education has an impact on the development of children's character. This study aims to describe the form of parenting using tueak serembeak in early character development and education in the Rejang tribe. This qualitative research uses a case study method with two male respondents. Data was collected by documentation, interviews, observations, and field notes and analysed using the Miles and Huberman stages. The theoretical study as the basis of research shows that tueak serembeak can form twelve characters in early childhood, responsibility, courage to take decisions, sharing, caring, survival, tenacity, cooperation, hard work, never give up, keep the spirit, dare to accept challenges, and be patient in dealing with problems. However, the findings in the field show that there are only four characters that appear, being responsible, sharing, caring and patient in dealing with problems. Other characters that appear not based on the teachings of tueak serembeakare independent, creative, and friendly characters. This happens because of the influence of external intervention, education in Air Raman Village, which has developed, advanced technology and open community life. A suggestion for further research, is experimental research based on tueak serembeak teachings that can explain more clearly the influence of this teaching on other aspects of child development. BackgroundAngiogenesis is mediated by both the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family and the angiopoietin (Ang1-2)/Tie-2 pathway.1-3 We demonstrated that increased soluble VEGF and ang-2 is associated with decreased benefit to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs).4 We then initiated a clinical trial combining pembrolizumab and ang-1/2 inhibitor (trebananib) (NCT03239145) with expansion cohorts in microsatellite stable (MSS) colorectal cancer (CRC), ovarian and renal cell cancer.5 We present the correlative analysis using high-dimensional single-cell mass cytometry (CyTOF) to characterize the effects of the combination therapy and examine differences between patients according to clinical benefit.MethodsWe used two separate CyTOF panels to monitor 48 markers of innate and adaptive immune populations in 26 evaluable patients who received the PR2D of trebananib (30mg/kg). Mass cytometry assay was performed on peripheral blood mononuclear cells of 26 patients at baseline (C1D1), 16 patients at cycle 3 day 1 (C3D1), and 4 patients at cycle 9 day 1 (C9D1). We compared immune cell markers between patients with clinical benefit (CB) and patients with no clinical benefit (NCB).ResultsOf 26 patients (16 CRC, 8 ovarian, 2 RCC), 11 patients had confirmed PR (3) or SD (8) resulting in CB of 42.3% while 15 patients had NCB. Independent of CB, there were statistically significant decreases from C1D1 to C3D1 in naïve CD8+ T cells (p=0.03), CD4+ T central memory cells (p=0.05), and PD-1+/CD4+ and CD8+ T cells (p<0.0001). In NCB patients, there was a statistically significant decrease from C1D1 to C3D1 in CD3+ T cells (p=0.009), CD4+/CXCR3+ T cells (p=0.02), CD8+/CXCR3+ T cells (p=0.02), and CD8+ T effector memory cells (p=0.03) while no significant changes in these T cell populations were observed in CB patients (figure 1). In NCB patients, monocytic myeloid-derived suppressor cells (p=0.003) and classical monocytes increased from C1D1 to C3D1 (p=0.01) while there was no significant change in this population in CB patients (figure 2). Interestingly, CB patients had higher activated CD56+NKp30+ at baseline (p= 0.03) with increased cytolytic CD56 dim CD16+ population from C1D1 to C3D1 (p= 0.04) compared to NCB patients (figure 3).Abstract 808 Figure 1T cell subset analysis by cycle and clinical benefitDetection of T cell subsets at C1D1, C3D1, and C9D1. (A) CD3+ T cells decrease from C1D1 to C3D1 in patients with no clinical benefit (p=0.009, n=16). CD3+ T cells are significantly higher at C3D1 in patients with clinical benefit (p=0.02, n=16). (B) CD4+ T cells decrease in patients with no clinical benefit from C1D1 to C3D1 (p=0.01, n=16). (C) CD8+ T cells decrease in patients with no clinical benefit from C1D1 to C3D1 (p=0.03, n=16). (D) CD8+ T effector memory cells decrease significantly in patients with no clinical benefit between C1D1 and C3D1 (p=0.03, n=16). (E) CD4+/CXCR3+ cells decrease significantly in patients with no clinical benefit from C1D1 to C3D1 (p=0.02, n=16). (F) CD8+/CXCR3+ cells decrease significantly from C1D1 to C3D1 in patients with no clinical benefit (p=0.02, n=16).Abstract 808 Figure 2Myeloid cell subset analysis by cycle and clinical benefitDetection of myeloid cell subsets at C1D1, C3D1, and C9D1. (A) Myeloid cells increase significantly from C1D1 to C3D1 in patients with no clinical benefit (p=0.01, n=16). (B) Monocytic myeloid-derived suppressor cells increase significantly in patients with no clinical benefit from C1D1 to C3D1 (p=0.003, n=16). (C) Dendritic cells are significantly higher at C1D1 (p=0.02, n=26) and C3D1 (p=0.02, n=16) in patients with no clinical benefit. (D) Total monocytes significantly increase in patients with no clinical benefit from C1D1 to C3D1 (p=0.02, n=16). (E) Classical monocytes increase in patients with no clinical benefit from C1D1 to C3D1 (p=0.01, n=16). (F) M2 macrophages trend higher in patients with no clinical benefit at C3D1 (p=0.07, n=16).Abstract 808 Figure 3NK cell subset analysis by cycle and clinical benefitFigure 3: Detection of NK cell subsets at C1D1, C3D1, and C9D1. (A) There is a trend towards increased CD56dim/CD16- cells in NCB patients compared to CB patients at C3D1 (p = 0.08). (B) CD56dim/CD16+ cells are significantly higher in CB patients compared to NCB patients at C3D1 (p=0.04). (C) There were no significant differences in CD56bright cells according to cycle or clinical benefit. (D) CD3-/CD19-/CD56+ cells are significantly higher in CB patients compared to NCB patients at C3D1. There is a trend towards decrease of this cell subset from C1D1 to C3D1 in NCB patients (p=0.06). (E) NKp30+/CD56+ cells are significantly higher in CB patients compared to NCB patients at C1D1, but this was not significant at C3D1 (p=0.23).ConclusionsOur findings suggest that the activity of anti-PD-1 and ang-2 peptibody (trebananib) combination is hindered by an increase in immunosuppressive myeloid cells leading to decrease in memory and effector T cell populations. The association between baseline activated NK cell and the expansion of cytolytic NK cells with favorable outcomes should be further explored.Trial RegistrationNCT03239145Ethics ApprovalThe study was approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for NCT03239145.ConsentWritten informed consent was obtained from the patient for participation in this study and publication of data.ReferencesGerald D, Chintharlapalli S, Augustin HG, Benjamin LE. The aim of the paper has been to show the plethora of innovative approaches to the illustration of books for children in the interwar period in Czechoslovakia (1918–1938). In a journal focused on education and literature (Úhor [Fallow]), the first synthetic text devoted to the aesthetics of children’s books was published as late as 1935, written by Josef Novák. His text perceives the illustrations of children’s books as an important and distinctive artistic expression dependent on the drawing conception of a form. It highlights the most modern examples in the form of the book of Zdenka Marčanová and Toyen, Náš svět [Our World], but not without reservations; it provides another modern example in Karel Čapek’s Dášeňka, on whose typography Karel Teige worked in 1933. The artistic potential of illustration is thus dominated by the individual approaches of particular authors. As early as 1918, the anthology Nůše pohádek [A Basketful of Fairy Tales] brought some unconventional illustrations, adopting elements from progressive art movements. Jeníkovy pohádky [Jack’s Fairy Tales], written and illustrated by Jan Zrzavý in 1920, enriched the visual appearance of children’s books with variations of dream imagery and with the interconnection of image and text according to the author’s concept with the involvement of a visually dominant and aesthetically modified typeface. In particular in Milada Marešová’s drawings published at the turn of the 1930s, it is possible to observe a new way of working with traditional means of expression. Her drawings were a reaction to the contemporary foreign approaches of the New Objectivity. In the early 1930s, Josef Čapek’s book graphics and illustrations were characterised by a shift towards multimedia. The involvement of the avant-garde painter Toyen in children’s book illustration proceeds from Civilism to Surrealism. A distinctly avant-garde form was given to the experimentally conceived popular-educational book by J. V. Pleva Kapka vody [A Drop of Water] in the graphic design of Zdeňek Rossmann, who creatively combined typography with photomontage. Photomontage was used by Augustin Tschinkel in his popular-educational books, either together with Ladislav Sutnar, for instance in Malá vlastivěda [A Little Civics Reader]), or on his own in the book Zeměpisné rebusy [Geographical Rebuses]. The works of the last three mentioned avant-garde artists are typical examples of the progressive graphic design where graphic symbols have been replaced by illustrations. These publications were created within a new model of cooperation – collaboration between a typographer, designer and illustrator in an authorial whole. Significantly radical experiments applying constructivist aesthetics and involving photography were unique in children’s literature in Czechoslovakia.

Abstract Background: Tafasitamab, an anti-CD19 immunotherapy that enhances antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and phagocytosis, received accelerated approval in the USA and conditional authorization in Europe in combination with lenalidomide (LEN) for patients (pts) with relapsed or refractory (R/R) diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) ineligible for autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT) based on the results of the open-label, multicenter, single-arm, Phase II L-MIND study (NCT02399085; Salles G, et al. Lancet Oncol 2020, Duell J, et al. Haematologica 2021). Here, we report the final, 5-year follow-up of L-MIND. Data cut-off was Nov 14, 2022. Methods: Pts were aged ≥18 years with ASCT-ineligible R/R DLBCL, 1-3 prior systemic therapies (including a CD20-targeting regimen), and ECOG PS 0-2. Tafasitamab (12 mg/kg) was given for up to 12 cycles in combination with LEN (25 mg), then as monotherapy until disease progression (PD) or unacceptable toxicity. The primary endpoint was best objective response rate (ORR; complete response [CR] or partial response [PR], by independent radiology committee). Secondary endpoints included duration of response (DoR), progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), and incidence and severity of adverse events (AEs). Exploratory analyses evaluated efficacy endpoints by prior lines of therapy (pLoT). Results: Of 81 pts enrolled, 80 were treated (full analysis set [FAS]). The ORR (FAS) of 57.5% [95% CI: 45.9-68.5], with CR of 41.2% [30.4-51.6] (n=33) and PR of 16.2% [8.9-26.2] (n=13), was generally consistent with the primary and 3-year analyses. Median DoR was not reached (NR) with median follow up (mFU) of 44.0 months [29.9-57.0]. Median PFS was 11.6 months [5.7-45.7] (mFU 45.6 [22.9-57.6]) and median OS was 33.5 months [18.3-NR] (mFU 65.6 [59.9-70.3]). At data cut-off, OS was >60 months in 21 pts (18 with best response of CR, 1 PR, 1 stable disease and 1 PD), including 14 with 1 pLoT and 7 with ≥2 pLoT. Pts with 1 pLoT (n=40) in the FAS had higher ORR (67.5%; 52.5% CR [n=21] and 15% PR [n=6]) compared to pts with ≥2 pLoT (n=40; 47.5%; 30% CR [n=12] and 17.5% PR [n=7]). However, median DoR was not reached for both subgroups, indicating similar long-term efficacy for responders. AEs were consistent with previous reports and manageable; incidence declined after transition from combination to tafasitamab monotherapy and again with monotherapy >2 years. Conclusion: The final, 5-year analysis of L-MIND showed prolonged durable responses with tafasitamab + LEN combination therapy, followed by long-term tafasitamab monotherapy, in pts with R/R DLBCL ineligible for ASCT, with median DoR not reached after 44 months mFU. No new safety signals were identified, confirming the tolerability profile observed with earlier data cuts. These long-term data suggest that this immunotherapy may have curative potential that is being explored in further studies. e4118124This paper updates the data from investigating processes conducted since 2013, in the In-service Teacher Education field at the EPT, Educação Profissional Tecnológica (Technological Professional Education), especially in a Instituto Federal de Educação (Federal School of Education). It embraces a discussion placed in the Philosophy of Language and of the Difference. The choice for this field is justified once it constitutes a scenario in which concepts and practices concerning Education and insertion of newcomer teachers are produced, considering the different epistemological, ontological and methodological displacements, bearing in mind the nature of the teachers’ admission and performance processes. The majority of those teachers does not have an educational degree, and become teachers through the practice of their profession. Thus, among the ordinary and the extraordinary of the teaching events in the EPT, drawing upon the listening process inserted in a derridarian autobiographical perspective, we mobilized a pedagogical dimension imbricated in those processes, proposing a deconstruction of the racionalistic logic assigned to the in-service Education. We, therefore, displaced the understanding of in-service as a simple status of those who are practicing their profession, in order to have them closer to the idea of the learning and Educating activity of professorality (the subjective ways of performing the teaching process). During the process, we mobilized methodological alternatives which transform the traditional pedagogical meetings into time-spaces of planning and Education, considering the narratives written by teachers, focusing especially on the newcomers’, as the main mechanism of curriculum production and management, as well as the problematization of the professional practice as an Educating geotemporality. Thus, we break with a teacher Education referenced in the pedagogical instrumentalization and certification, in order to observe the stream of authorship and invention in the production of each professorality. Keywords: Teacher education, Professional education, Listening. Četvrti razgovor izlaže glavnu tezu kršćanske antropologije: »Ljudska je duša neumrla«, a potom raspravlja o bolu i strahu uz temu čovjekove smrtnosti. Time je ujedno zaključena rasprava o »prvim stvarima«.
