Silica fibers are widely used in superhigh velocity radome and antenna windows. The methods of eliminating the agents on the surface silica fibers were sdudied in this paper. SEM was engaged in studying the effects of silica fibers disposed by different methods,and the tensile strength of disposed silica fbers was compared with the originals. The results show that the heat treatment in the high temperature was a useful means to eliminate the agent on the surface of silica fiber, but there was great thermal damage for silica fibers,and the tensile strenth decreased significantly. The combination of volvent treatment and heat tratment could eliminate the agent on tht surface of silica fibers completely,and the tensile strength retained more, which was a good means to eliminate the agents on the surface of silica fiber.

For analysis the MOMA FengHui residential of BaYuquan area ground- water source heat pump engineering on the influence of seawater invasion,Established the groundwater flow and solute transport and temperature coupling numerical model,Simulated forecast the change tendency of the groundwater flow and solute and temperature of two different disposing Wells scheme. Simulation results show that the two kinds of disposing Wells solutions are not cause seawater invasion, the second disposing Wells scheme help to prevent the occurrence of seawater invasion.

Introduction: Instilling awareness to maintain a clean environment can be instilled from an early age. The application or delivery of health promotion can use game media because students can more easily understand, not experience boredom in delivering the material. Health education media that can be applied to school children are like the snake and ladder game. Objective: To implement snake and ladder games on increasing students' knowledge in disposing of waste. Method: Health promotion research is used in PHBS education methods and demonstrations of disposing of waste according to its type with game media in the form of snakes and ladders. This Health Promotion was carried out with 8 students who were at SDN 3 Linggasari, Ciamis District, Ciamis Regency with a total of 25 children as respondents and accompanied by a homeroom teacher. Health Promotion is carried out through 4 stages, namely 1) selection of targets and places, 2) preparation of facilities and infrastructure, 3) implementation of activities, 4) evaluation. Result: The implementation of health promotion for students of SDN 3 Linggasari Ciamis on Clean and Healthy Living Behavior about Disposing of garbage according to its type produced less significant results because previously students of SDN 3 Linggasari Ciamis rarely applied it so that there were still students who could not distinguish between organic and non-organic types of waste, and dispose of waste improperly. Conclusion: This activity can increase children's knowledge about the purpose of disposing of waste, the benefits of disposing of waste in its place, the positive and negative impacts of throwing garbage in its place, as well as steps for disposing of waste correctly. In its implementation in the field, teachers and children at SDN 3 Linggasari Ciamis gave a positive response and high enthusiasm in participating in counseling and simulations of disposing of waste according to its type.

Clean and healthy behaviors such as hand washing with soap and waste disposing in proper place can be one of the ways to increase public health level. These activities should be done by everyone including those with mental retardation. This research was aimed to know the appro-priate health education method for improving motivation and action of those hand washing and waste disposing behavior among mental retarded children by conducting a quasi experiment with pre-test and post-test control group design. In the treatment group 1, the form of the experiment was health education with talk and followed by practical method, meanwhile in the treatment group 2, it was consisted of talk followed by video playing method; and in the control group, only talk method was carried out. The research subject was 45 mental retarded students of Panti Asih Special School in Pakem and Rela Bhakti I Special School in Gamping, Sleman, who were dis-tributed randomly into the research groups. Study results in the form of different scores data of motivation and action in hand washing and waste disposing were analysed with Kruskal-Wallis test at 95 % confidence level, and showed that significant differences in motivation of hand wa-shing (p- value 0,025) and waste disposing in proper place (p-value 0,004) were found between the treatments and control groups, especially in the cluster of above 13 years old. Significant dif-ference was also found in the action of hand washing (p-value 0.049) between the treatments and control groups; however, for waste disposing action, it was not significant enough (p-value 0,253). It can be concluded that the most appropriate methods are talk and practice method for increasing the motivation, and talk and video playing method for increasing the action, with put emphasis or give more attention on waste disposing matters.

The study aims to explaining the application of sanctions against the prohibition of disposing of waste based on Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2014 concerning Waste Management in the City of Pekanbaru; and analytically critical of the obstacles faced in implementing sanctions against the ban on disposing of waste based on Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2014 concerning Waste Management in the City of Pekanbaru. This type of research is sociological legal research which is more focused on the Policy of Pekanbaru City Government in applying sanctions against the prohibition of disposing of garbage. The results of this study are that the Pekanbaru City Government has not implemented criminal sanctions against the prohibition of disposing of garbage on the streets, in parks and in public places. The administrative sanctions have been made, namely, by giving a warning or making a statement. The obstacle in the application of criminal sanctions is because people who carelessly dispose of garbage cannot afford to pay or the fine is high, which is worth Rp 2,500,000.00 (two million five hundred thousand rupiah).

The starting of DDT production during World War II also signalized the beginning of a very rapid increase in pesticide use. Pesticides applied in the control of invertebrates are known as insecticides. On the other hand, vertebrates are controlled by rodenticides, which are used for killing rodents etc.; moreover, avicides are applied to repel birds, and piscicides are used in fish control. Herbicides are the most important in agriculture and are used for plant cultivation, moreover, fungicides are useful in killing fungi. Bactericides are used against bacteria, slimicides are used against slime-causing organisms in water, and algicides against algae. Many pesticides which were used in agriculture in the last 30-40 years are no longer authorised and have been replaced by pesticides on a non-chemical basis. Currently, the aim of the REACH Regulation in the European Union is to provide better protection for humans and the environment from possible chemical risks and to promote sustainable development. The European Chemicals Agency, established under this regulation and based in Helsinki, is responsible for managing the technical, scientific, and administrative aspects of REACH and for ensuring consistency in its application (www.europarl.europa.eu). In order to enhance the level of protection of human health and the environment, the same criteria for identifying labels for describing chemical hazards should be used throughout the EU and the world (www.europarl.europa.eu). This contribution briefly refers to the pesticides classification and their most commonly used detoxification.

The current exsiting studies on city rubbish mainly focus on the following three areas: the environment science area, the management science area and the economy science area. The exploration into the problem of city rubbish from the aspect of city planning theory would shed sight on our better understanding of the issue of city rubbish. In the following study, we will use the classification of city function theory, the basic urban design theory, the region planning theory, as well as some theories in economics and social sciences. The methods used in the study include the disassembling of complex problems, using the system projecting theory,conducting the on-the-spot investigation, and distributing questionnaire. The present study aims to find the effect of the appropriately classified city function on the solving of city rubbish problem, to utilize the rubbish disposing facilities with region planning theory, and appeal people to realize the effect of district space on city rubbish in the progress of urban design. The overall and most important purpose of this study is to decrease the amount of rubbish to be produced, to recycle the rubbish, and make people live more safely and comfortably.

Abstract This paper considers the way that disposal of art—that is, removing it from one’s ownership or guardianship—might rightly be pursued. It is also about what appropriate disposal of art may mean for theories of the value of art. Students of art and aesthetics benefit from such tests as they determine which of the various theories of artistic value have lasting merit. Disposing of art is a particularly good test for educating theory choice as it is pragmatic; it is the equivalent of determining the quality of a theory of normative ethics by looking at its practical implications.

Community behavior in garbage disposal in Batang Bakarek-Karek river basin of Padang PanjangPurposeThe purpose of this study was to analyze the behavior of the people who live around Batang Bakarek-Karek river in disposing of their garbage, which included, knowledge, attitudes, infrastructure, and implementation of government policies of Padang Panjang West Sumatra.MethodsThis research used a cross-sectional survey design. Subjects were breadwinners of the families who live in the watershed of Batang Bakarek-Karek river including 118 people. The independent variables in this study were knowledge, attitude, infrastructures and policy implementation. The dependent variable was waste behavior. Data analysis was performed by using univariate, bivariate analysis with chi-square tests, followed by multivariate analysis using logistic regression tests.ResultsStatistical analysis determined that all the studied variables were significantly related to people's behavior in disposing of their waste, including knowledge, attitude, infrastructure, and policy implementation. The most influential variable on people's behavior in disposing of their waste was their attitude with the value of OR as 7.79. ConclusionAttitude was the most influential variable on people’s behavior in Batang Bakarek-Karek river in disposing of their waste. This research suggests the need for guidance and socialization of waste management policy.

A healthy house can be assessed from the physical condition of the house and behavior in disposing of waste. The coverage of healthy homes in Kedung Cowek Village in 2019 was 26%, in 2020 and 2021 it was 27%. The Cumpat Fisherman Settlement Community has the behavior of throwing garbage in the sea because of the irregular transportation system. The purpose of this study was to analyze descriptively the physical condition of the house and the behavior of disposing of garbage in the Cumpat Fisherman's Settlement, Bulak District, Surabaya City. This research uses descriptive method, the sample size is 84 houses and 83 respondents using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Collecting data using observation sheets and questionnaire sheets. The results of the study were analyzed and presented through a frequency distribution table. The results of the study on the physical condition of the house met the requirements of a healthy house (97.6%) by reviewing the ceiling, walls, floor, lighting, ventilation, temperature, humidity, and occupancy density. The results of the study regarding the behavior of disposing of waste were in good category (83.3%) but the action component was in the sufficient category (16.7%). The conclusion of the study on the assessment of the physical condition of the house obtained results that met the requirements and the behavior of disposing of garbage obtained a good category. It is necessary to hold outreach on the impact of disposing of waste on marine ecosystems and healthy homes, training on recycling, and making banners containing the prohibition of throwing garbage.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to identify how need for service, enabling factors and pre-disposing characteristics influences access to service. In addition, the authors seek to examine the moderating influence of pre-disposing variables on the relationship between insurance and health services utilization. Design/methodology/approach – The authors utilize data from a major metropolitan hospital in the USA to test and extend the behavioral model of health care. Findings – Results indicate that insurance and pre-disposing variables have a direct impact on type of health service utilization. However, the insurance effect is found to vary by demographic factors. Research limitations/implications – This paper is limited to secondary data. Future work can incorporate both attitudinal and behavioral measures to obtain a more comprehensive evaluation of services access. Practical implications – The research offers a tactical framework for management to segment consumer markets more effectively. Social implications – Through the framework, management will have the requisite knowledge to target segmented populations based on need, insurance, and pre-disposing variables which will help improve access to services and clinical outcome. Safer sex is important and comprises of a series of five condom-related behaviours: accessing, carrying, negotiating, using and disposing. This study explored potential gender and age differences in these condom-related behaviours. Data suggests gender differences exist for accessing, carrying and disposing behaviours. An age difference was seen in accessing behaviour. Therefore future safer sex interventions should acknowledge the potential gender and age differences in these condom-related behaviours.

<p><em>This research was carried out in the Sungai Kakap Subdistrict, Kubu Raya Regency of West Kalimantan. The waste problem is one of the issues exists in Indonesia. Waste affects the cleanliness of the environment and the surrounding. Disposing waste into a river is an example of irresponsible practices. Nowadays, the river has become a practical and free of charge location to dispose of waste. People tend to develop waste disposal into a river as a habit without caring for the negative impacts of their behavior. The purposes of this research were 1) to determine the behavior of the community in disposing of waste into the river, 2) to find out community knowledge of the environment, and 3) to determine the ecological awareness of the community in the area.</em><em> </em><em>The results of this current study indicated that around 70% of the community members utilized the water for their daily needs, such as bathing, cleaning and also as the clean water resources. The score of the behavior of the community regarding waste disposal into the river was </em><em>1.570. </em><em>This was in a "bad" category. The score of the community knowledge on waste disposal into the river was</em><em> 3.09</em><em>1, included in the "moderate" category with the score ranging from</em><em> 2.701 – 4.05</em><em>0. People's knowledge of their environment influenced their behavior in disposing of waste into the river. Knowledge about the environment affects people's behavior in disposing of waste into the river. Community awareness began to emerge by doing cooperation activities every Sunday. This involved as many as 71 people or around 78.89% of the community members. The ecological awareness score of the community in disposing of waste into rivers was 3,529, the score was included in the category of "medium" with a score ranging from 2,701 - 4,050. Ecological awareness influenced community behavior in disposing of waste into rivers. In general, the people in the study area realized that disposing waste into rivers was irresponsible and brought a negative impact on the environment, but the habit of throwing waste into rivers was hard to change, it was like a tradition which was not easy to abandon. </em><em> </em><em></em></p>

The utilization of unused and retired mobile phones in South Africa and other African countries poses a significant environmental hazard. Disposing of retired mobile phones in a safe manner has become an issue of concern in South Africa because of health and environmental hazards associated with it. This study investigates the methods of disposing and recycling of old, unused and retired mobile phones and their associated environmental effect on humans and plants in Africa. A case study approach was used in this paper. Participants were selected from three cities in South Africa, targeting three government institutions and three mobile phone service providers. Semi-structured, open-ended interview questions were used to get evidence from the participants regarding how old, unused and retired mobile phones are disposed and possible effect of these on the environment. The interviews were recorded, transcribed and coded. Findings revealed that most common method of disposing of old, retired mobile phones was donating them as gifts, selling to second-hand shops or storing in homes as spare phones. Based on findings, a proposed framework was developed to guide the collection process, reducing, reusing and recycling of old and retired mobile phones in Africa. The framework will not only assist manufacturers and retailers in selecting a better option of disposing old mobile phones, but also will to improve the hazardous environmental conditions, which affect humans and plants.

More and more people have take more attention on the problem like Seawater intrusion, The same floor recharge and "heat transfixion". This article has established the groundwater flow and solute transport and temperature coupling numerical model,to simulate the underground water temperature’s change by changing the wells’ spacing manner. Simulation results show that the two kinds of disposing Wells solutions are not cause seawater invasion, the second disposing Wells scheme help to prevent the occurrence of seawater invasion.

Cilj je ovoga rada ocijeniti primjenjivost postojećih mehanizama alternativnog rješavanja sporova u upravnom pravu i dati neke prijedloge za njihovo unaprjeđenje. U radu se analizira koncept alternativnog i konsensualnog rješavanja sporova. Zatim se izlažu prednosti i nedostaci izvansudskih oblika rješavanja upravnih stvari. Analiziraju se pozitivni propisi u Hrvatskoj, koji uređuju primjenu izvansudskih oblika rješavanja sporova. Razmatraju se metode izvansudskog rješavanja sporova u Poljskoj, koja je u vrlo sličnom pravnom okruženju, nekoliko godina ranije nastojala uvesti ove oblike rješavanja sporova u upravnom pravu. Konačno, u zaključku autori izlažu stav o primjenjivosti izvansudskih oblika rješavanja sporova u hrvatskom upravnom pravu i predlažu neke korake kako bi ih unaprijedili.

MUSEUMS HAVE always disposed of unneeded material, and the practice is an important means to keep collections functional and organized. However, it also is a potentially dangerous activity that should be undertaken only as a last resort and not used as a simple way to make collections management more convenient. This is especially true for catalogued or well-labeled specimens, but even “poorly-documented” specimens may have considerable importance. There are numerous examples of collections that have been damaged and irreplaceable material that has been lost to science through poor disposal choices, regardless of the deaccessioning methods used.Methodology and guidelines for deaccessioning fossil materials are presented in DeMouthe et al. (this volume). However, they provide limited information about the preliminary work and policies required to properly identify material that can be disposed of safely. The following is a brief summary of some of the important considerations required to reliably determine the soundness and suitability of specimen disposal plans.
