Chartier, Pierre. "La violence politique dans les discours médiés par internet : étude des commentaires YouTube sur la Loi Travail en 2016". Electronic Thesis or Diss., Brest, 2024. http://www.theses.fr/2024BRES0094.
Texto completo da fonteIn 2016, a draft reform of the Labour Code was announced, commonly known as the « Labour Law » and provoked a large-scale social movement that began in March and ended in September of the same year. Numerous demonstrations, blockades and strikes were organised, sometimes leading to acts of violence and clashes between demonstrators and the police. Political and media discourse focused on this violence, referring to violent demonstrators as « casseurs ». These acts of violence are filmed and broadcast on the YouTube platform, mainly by personal accounts but also by traditional or activist media. Underneath these videos, people comment, discuss and debate, with varying degrees of violence, constructing a discourse of opposition between two groups: the police and the demonstrators. Through the study of commentary as a genre in its own right and using a mixed method combining discourse analysis, lexicology and textometry, this thesis looks at social discourse by analysing the ways in which commentauthors talk about this political violence. Trough an interplay of denominations, opposing groups, political antagonisms and polemical discourses are revealed, most of which are addressed in pejorative axiological terms

Texto completo da fonteThis research aims at comparing digital identity and nature of the peculiarities of interactive written language on two digital social networks (Facebook and Renren). We are interested in the difference between the digital identity of these two digital social networks, one is worldwide used (except a few countries such as China) and the other is mainly used by the Chinese. Is that the digital identity of one person is also the same on these two different social network sites? How the users interact and express vis-à-vis different friends in different digital context? Can the online interactions manifest emotional aspects? In order to respond to these problems, this research questions the digital identity and their function in the identity construction, the relational and social aspects of online interaction, the types of emotions expressed in the online interactions, and the role of emoticon in the expression of emotions of these two digital social networks. The data analysis enables to identify the linguistic, social and emotional phenomena in online interactions of the corpus of study. Interviews and questionnaires clarify the analysis of the experience and the feeling of the different actors. So throughout the description of case use of Facebook and Renren by four newly arrived Chinese students in France, this work attempts to better understand the features of digital identity and interactive exchange of these two digital social networks

Texto completo da fonteIn a globalised context, teaching/learning of French for Specific Purposes (FSP) is a key factor which benefits inter-university and professional exchanges. However FSP faces difficulties that prevent learners to fulfill the anticipated objectives of the relevant education courses. That implies the necessity to make a profound analysis aiming to provide a better knowledge of that FLE (Français Langue Étrangère) branch. After a methodological and historical review of FSP, we present the profile of the groups wich participate in those courses, emphazing on their diversity, needs, expected and sought abilities, etc. We also underline the steps to be taken in order to elaborate FSP courses. For the purpose of ameliorating the efficiency and the effectiveness of training and learning, we attempt a collaborative distant approach, related to the significant contributions that internet could bring with regard to the quality of FSP training. Undertaking a research action, the creation of a website, entirely dedicated to FSP, FOS. COM (www. Le-fos. Com) and the analysis of the e-learning practices, developed through the introduction of an education corner, allow to reveal the commitment of all the involved parties as well as the positive potential of such education courses
Codreanu, Tatiana. "Analyse des comportements et expérience utilisateurs d'une plateforme de visioconférence pour l'enseignement des langues : Le cas de la phase 1.0 de VISU". Thesis, Lyon 2, 2014. http://www.theses.fr/2014LYO20048.
Texto completo da fonteThis research studies the behavior of users of a desktop videoconferencing platform VISU (designed to deliver online courses), through the multimodal pedagogical communication of two groups of teachers: trainee tutors and experienced teachers based in different locations who taught French as a Foreign Language to a group of students from UC Berkeley in 2010. A team of researchers and developers worked together with the tutors in this experiment to improve the usability of the platform, which was under construction during the course of the study. In understanding the experience of users while using the tool, due to the performance limitations of the tool under construction, a new method of analysing data was devised in which user behavior was studied through discourse analysis, mimogestuality and the usage of tools including chat and webcam. Specifically, we analysed the usage of different tools (text based tools) as well as the webcam’s effects on user behavior. Then, through a micro analysis of the pedagogical instruction, we identified the role of these different communication tools used by the tutors in conveying the meaning of the task to be carried out. Interviews, questionnaires and perceptions of students and tutors were gathered to inform the analysis of their experiences and their feelings. This research therefore attempts, through the description of the synchronous teaching communication, to better understand the different practices, mainly discursive and mimo-gestural, of tutors and students engaged in the multimodal learning. In addition, a key significance of this study is that it demonstrates the value of considering user experience (UX) in studies involving language learning through technology. At the same time, it also indicates the value of including discourse analysis and mimogestuality in user experience research involving interactive pedagogical tools

"lol thats how reddit talks;) : le site américain Reddit comme espace de variation de l’anglais : étude de corpus intersectionnelle et quantitative d’usages non standard, au prisme du genre, de l’âge et de l’ethnicité". Thesis, Université de Lorraine, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020LORR0192.
Texto completo da fonteThis thesis studies the relationships between non-standard online writing practices and gender on the American community website Reddit. It is based on a corpus of nearly 20 million tokens which contains the comments written in English by 1,044 internet users, including 300 transgender and non-binary people. Using an intersectional sociolinguistic approach, it examines the interaction of gender with age and ethnicity. Eleven non-standard variables were investigated: six additive processes (emoticons, emojis, letter lengthenings, punctuation lengthenings, all caps and interjections) and five reduction processes (abbreviations, phonetic spellings, g-droppings, apostrophe omissions and lower case spellings of the pronoun “I”). In addition to these linguistic analyses, the thesis explores how Internet users construct their virtual identities and occupy the Reddit space, by focusing on the most visible markers of Redditors' activity in the community: pseudonyms, interests, “karma”, longevity of the accounts and forum moderation. The analyses, which are mainly based on the multiple regression method, provide a nuanced account of the way Redditors use non-standard language to index their gender identity. They show, in particular, that transgender women and men rarely align with cisgender women and men. They also suggest that Hispanic and African-American women play a major role in the spread of non-standard spelling and typography
Auguste, Jérémy. "Analyse du discours conversationnel dans le cadre de communications médiées par ordinateur". Electronic Thesis or Diss., Aix-Marseille, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020AIXM0228.
Texto completo da fonteDialogues are a central part of human society, and technological improvements only strengthen their use in more and more situations. Additional tools used to communicate from a distance allow the collection of large amounts of data, which can be used to produce various analyses and automatic systems.Conversational discourse analysis is a partial response to understand some aspects of language production in dialogues. It is used to characterize the different interactions between the messages of a dialogue, and thus highlight the different issues or identify the exchanges that are needed to solve the dialogue's main objectives.Discourse parsing is a challenging task. The high number of existing theories of discourse analysis shows that humans have a hard time defining discursive structures that model all possible interactions. This difficulty makes the production of annotated corpora expensive and the low amount of discursively annotated data makes the use of supervised learning algorithms impractical. In this thesis, I propose to produce representations of conversational discourse based on data that is partially annotated with discourse structures. The thesis is part of the DATCHA project which allowed me access to a large corpus of dialogues owned by the Orange company. This corpus allows us to explore different strategies in order to produce discourse representations: rely on an end-to-end model that predicts customer satisfaction; rely on dialogue acts to produce sentence embeddings; using supervised algorithms on an automatically enriched corpus

Texto completo da fonteThis study has a socio-technical approach of radio innovation on Internet in France, between 1999 and 2006. This analyse of the press journalists speeches and articles, and what hertzian radio makers put on-line, help to better understand the way people perceive the content and the diffusion of radio innovations. Moreover, this reflection offers a description of on-line radio supports through the analysis of a sample of Internet sites in 2006. Proposing a multi-disciplinary methodology, the study puts in prospect the shift between the prospective speeches and the a-posteriori analysis. It underlines that on-line radio diffusion is the fruit of captures, cooperation, divergences influenced by different technical and symbolists contexts. The analyse reveals, in filigree, that this type of support implies a new organisation of communication

Texto completo da fonteIn the last years new communicative practices have appeared due to the Computer-Mediated Communication spreading, The impact of this communicative practice in the education field and, specially, in foreign languages learning has meant the incorporation of new methodological proposals in order to take advantage of this communication. This study focuses on linguistic and interaction analyses o synchronous interactions carried out in the different chat rooms of a virtual platform (wwwgalanet. Eu) created to favor Romanic language on line teaching. The main objectives are: first, to offer a detailed description of the Spanish discourse used by second language learning students and, second, to specify what kind of negotiations between native and non-native speakers can help on line Spanish acquisition. Both matters will enable us to create a theoretical guide’s outline of the synchronous written interaction on line. We will specify the competences and strategies that the students must develop in it in order to be efficient in these communicative practices. To achieve these objectives, we have made up a corpus of 55 interactions carried out between 2004 and 2007 in the chat rooms of the Galanet platform (a pedagogical and virtual environment). The analysis perspective used refers to the Computer-Mediated Discourse Analyses as well as to the Interactive Discourse Analyses. Both of them will bring us the necessary tools to define the communicative and linguistic features of this sort of communication, This description will be essential to advance in the study of the chat as a space of communication in our specific field : the didactics of Spanish as a foreign language
Simeu, Simplice. "Le français parlé au Cameroun : une analyse de quatre marqueurs discursifs (là, par exemple, ékyé et wèé)". Thesis, Université Grenoble Alpes (ComUE), 2016. http://www.theses.fr/2016GREAL006/document.
Texto completo da fonteThis thesis sets out to describe and to analyse the discourse markers (DMs) là, par exemple, ékyé and wèé in Cameroon French, a regional variety of French that is spoken in Subsharan Africa. It is a pragmatic study of oral discourses that highlights how communication is based on speech inter-subjectivity such as DMs, which constitute linguistic traces. In order to study these uninvestigated pragmatic phenomena in Cameroon spoken French, three notions were of prime necessity, namely: discursive continuity, social implicity and interaction. These notions help to shed light on the informational structure and on the situational context of the DMs là, par exemple, ékyé and wèé in discourse organization as well as in its production or in its reception. The data of this study was got from two sources: on the one hand, radio programmes, and on the other hand, scripts collected from the internet. The study comprises two parts: Part one focuses on the theoretical concerns, alongside some illustrations of excerpts from the data. The second part provides a systematic analysis of the data (the functioning of the four DMs là, par exemple, ékyé and wèé in radio programmes and in internet scripts). This analysis enabled the confirmation that not only is it difficult to clearly define what a DM is but that there are also several competing terms and explanations, as theories regarding studies on DMs are heterogeneous. We propose an operational definition of DMs for the analysis of the data and suggest that studies on regional French spoken in Africa should take into account oral phenomena related to interaction

Texto completo da fonteThis research provides a description of the digital discourse as it appears in the digital environment that is Facebook. It is based on the study of birthday wishes, showing how their final shape may be influenced by technological influence site. The first part provides an overview of developments in research on digital discourse, describing on one hand the context of emergence of Web 2.0 and discursive and epistemological changes that it has caused. And also known linguistic specificities of the speech appearing in digital environments. The second part shows that the advent of the social web has changed things in research on digital discourse, demanding a multidisciplinary approach. This reflection requires an interest in that production environment and affordances that provides speakers. This new epistemological positioning allows to rethink the description of Facebook, not as a communicative platform, but as a complex discursive environment by questioning the notions of identity, privacy and socio-emotional ties. The third and final part of this thesis presents the issues related to the study of a concrete case of natively digital writing. The description and analysis of birthday wishes on Facebook and methodological and theoretical tools adapted to digital environments used for this purpose. The description and analysis of birthday wishes on Facebook show two technolinguistic aspects in this type of discourse. The first is environmental action on language production, it is the case of technological preconstruction but also taking account of exposure of the message by the speakers (redefinition of socio-emotional bond). The second is the integration of technology within the same discursive forms, generating new technological genders as the discourse by button or statements increased as hashtags
Ibnelkaïd, Samira. "Identité et altérité par écran : modalités de l’intersubjectivité en interaction numérique". Thesis, Lyon, 2016. http://www.theses.fr/2016LYSE2069.
Texto completo da fonteThough our research is firmly anchored within the field of linguistics, it constitutes an interdisciplinary approach as well, aiming to establish a dialogue between Interaction Analysis and Phenomenology. This research examines the complex notion of identity by defining it as a verbal, technical, and intersubjective phenomenon. The bodily, sensory, relational and social human existence is henceforth engaged in digital interaction devices inducing unprecedented modalities of intersubjectivity. Therefore, we propose to analyze the novel features of intersubjectivity involved in digital interactions. In the first part of our dissertation, the theoretical exploration, we seek to apprehend the nature of identity co-construction, the stakes of interindividual encounter understood as an intersubjective phenomenon, and the spatio-temporal characteristics of digital interactions. Firstly, through a phenomenological approach, we define the encounter as a meaningful event and we explore the phenomenotechnical properties of digital intersubjectivity. Secondly, through an interactionist approach, we focus on language and its role in identity co-construction, and more specifically on sequence organization and embodiment within physical and digital interactions. Thereafter, in the second part of our dissertation, those theorizations are submitted to a data analysis. This empirical exploration consists in studying online encounters between geographically distant participants. This study allows us to draw a topography of the spatio-temporal framework of phygital interaction, a typology of the acts of enacting existence on screen and a description of the ontological process of identity co-construction
