The development of information systems and information technology requires planning to complement the direction of the college strategy. Planning is constructed by defining data, application and technology architectures in the use of information to support business processes and then architectural design to identify needs and create architectural schemes and make plans for their implementation. Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) is a method of data quality planning approach oriented to business needs and how the implementation of the architecture is done in such a way in an effort to support business turnover and achievement of Vision and Mission and the goal of strategic development of SI and IT at college private high. Ginling College is the first women’s college founded by the American Christian Church in Nanjing, China, in the early 20th century. The architectural style of the school reflects the orientation of the “Chinese localization” of the Christian Church at that time. It is a representative work of the revival of traditional Chinese architecture. It is known as a “Renaissance of Chinese traditional architecture” and profoundly influenced later generations. Due to its important historical status and artistic value, the Ginling College complex has been designated by the Chinese government as a national key cultural relic protection unit and China’s 20th-century architectural heritage, and the protection scope of the Ginling College historical district has been specially designated for overall protection. Currently, little research has been conducted on this historic area, so the authors undertook this project. This paper adopts a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods for research, starting from the two aspects of architectural art and sustainable design, and analyzes in detail the artistic characteristics of the project, the structural materials obtained locally, and the sustainable design method that utilizes natural lighting and ventilation to explore a modern campus design method based on the concept of sustainable design with a “combination of Chinese and Western architectural art”. Through artistic creation and technological innovation, traditional Chinese revival architecture has realized a harmonious coexistence between man and nature, embodying the design concept of sustainable development, and promoting the development of architecture and the region.

Carrying on the context is an important method of Architecture design. By analyzing the Huangcheng xiangfu castle (special cultural historical relics) on which the branch of Jincheng vocational technical college rely, this thesis deeply excavated the context in this region, and made the context play a role in space construction and the form of architecture. With this, the thesis also discussed the carrying on the context of architecture’s application and attempt in concrete design.

In this paper the authors present the design and software development of an E-learning system based on a multi-agent (MAS) architecture. The multi-agent architecture is established on the client-server model. The MAS architecture is combined with the Dynamic Content Manager (DCM) model of E-learning developed at Bergen University College, Norway. The authors first present the quality requirements of the system before they describe the architectural decisions taken. They then evaluate and discuss the benefits of using a multi-agent architecture. Finally, the MAS architecture is compared with a pure service-oriented architecture (SOA) to observe that a MAS architecture has a lot of the same qualities as this architecture, in addition to some new ones.

This study is based on the feedback from 3rd-year architectural undergraduate students at a leading architectural education college in India. An undergraduate degree in architecture in India leads to a professional license to practice as an architect in India. Fire safety is also a component of the architectural curriculum, but there are concerns worldwide that architecture colleges may somehow not give the impetus fire safety education may require. A studio-based, immersive pedagogy was created to make fire safety more relevant and easy to grasp for architecture students. This method used integrating the interventions from the country’s fire code into the design using students’ self-created design problems, with which they were familiar. This design-based immersive integration of the National Building Code 2016 and its fire provisions were tested in this study. The detailed course pedagogical structure has been presented. The study was tested using feedback from the students at the end of the semester using an 11-part questionnaire which 32 students answered in an anonymous mode. The results show an overall positive response where the students prefer a design-based integrated fire safety curriculum which introduces fire codes to the students in the applied format. This study paves the way for more replications of the studio design-based integration of fire codes into the curricula of architecture colleges. Further studies will require this technique to undergo further testing by involving practitioners who have undergone this pedagogy and testing the same in building projects.

William Burges's master plan for Trinity College in Hartford has long been considered more as the product of fantasy than as a serious proposal for the reconstruction of the college campus. Understanding the significance of the project within both Burges's oeuvre and the history of late-nineteenth-century architecture has been hampered further by the absence of any clear relationship between the master plan and the college as it was finally built. In this essay, the reconstruction of Trinity College is considered in the context of contemporary events in Hartford and Burges's design as the product of a crisis in architectural thought that erupted in 1872 after it was decided to rebuild the Connecticut State Capitol. Based on material conserved in the Trinity College archives, the author proposes that Burges's master plan was conceived as a response to the failure of the design competitions for the State Capitol and as a rigorous statement of the architect's vision of an architecture for the nineteenth century. The architecture of Trinity College as built further underlines the desire that the buildings embody the qualities of modernity demanded in connection with the Capitol competitions, and the often remarked similarity between Trinity's "Long Walk" and the contemporary work of H. H. Richardson testifies to the skill of college architect Francis Kimball in merging Burges's proposal with elements of a distinctly American architecture.

In recent years, colleges and universities have begun to create their own unique cultural and creative visual image, improving the popularity of colleges and universities while creating their own visual image. Each university has its own school logo, school name, standard word, school motto, school philosophy, etc. Standardized designs such as logo standard color auxiliary colors and standard word combination specifications auxiliary graphics are used in the freshman gift package to form their own visual system. Through the illustration design of the architecture of Hengshui College, the illustration of the gift package is used on the gift package items, constantly impacting the vision of the used population, establishing the university's own image recognition system, and having its own unique taste and style. This paper builds on the requirements of listening and writing, conducts a de-tailed analysis on demands and a feasibility study, and designs a set of intelligent English listening and writing training system. This system carries out an analysis on demands from three main aspects—the orchestration system before the test, the mock test subsystem during the test and the achievement management system after the test, and describes the functions of the college English listening and speaking simulation test system. After technical analysis, the non-functional re-quirements of the system are introduced. The design of the system makes a hier-archical description of the system’s overall architecture, achievement management architecture and sorchestration system architecture, and demonstrates database design, design and interface design of this system. The test demonstrates favora-ble results and this system meet the functional requirements.

This study constitutes the latest reflection on pedagogical research and experimental pedagogical projects involving the representation, design, and computation of ambiances. Led by the author at various architecture schools in France, Japan, and the United States, these creative explorations involving drawings and models offer ways to realize, feel, and fabricate architecture. The projects described were conducted in 2018 in courses offered by the Department of Architecture, Stuckeman School, College of Arts and Architecture at the Pennsylvania State University. They show that architectural productions are not static objects, but instead render a dynamic landscape itself nested within a changing milieu. Through these projects, by looking closely at the parameters of spatial effects, students engaged in processes of design taking movement into account in meaningful ways.

Architectural movements such as modernism, postmodernism, and deconstructivism emerged during the twentieth century. These movements drastically affected the discipline of architecture, with such divergences from traditional forms demonstrating how building design could be influenced by architectural history to guide its development. The College of Islamic Studies (CIS), also known as the Minartein, in Doha, Qatar, is an example of how architectural theory can affect building design and create structures that cater to different and novel ideas and philosophies. The unconventional, postmodern, parametric building creates a vital link that unites history, theory, and religion in a modernized form of the traditional Islamic madrasa. This article recounts how the architect, Ali Mangera, has realized the vision of originality, plurality, and contemporaneity through post-deconstructive architecture at the CIS. It also examines how architectural concepts such as abstraction, the juxtaposition of contradicting shapes and forms, surface manipulation and construction, massing techniques, non-rectilinearity, and fragmentation can all contribute to a better understanding of the symbolic significance of the building. The article demonstrates how the use of deconstructive methods for disassembling the architecture of famous madrasas may have influenced the architecture and design complexity of the building.

At present, the guidance mode of college students’ career planning guidance system is imperfect, resulting in too long submission time. A college students’ career planning guidance system based on B/S three-tier architecture is designed. Hardware part: on the basis of obtaining the sensor dynamic compensation filter, expand 6 static memory; Software part: obtain the influencing factors of College Students’ career planning, combined with the external environment, use the B/S three-tier architecture to set the guidance mode, formulate the links of career planning, adopt the hierarchical management mode, and design the role authority management function of the system. Experimental results: the average submission time of the college students’ career planning guidance system designed this time and the other two systems is 11.277s, 16.253s and 15.554s, which proves that the college students’ career planning guidance system integrating the B/S three-tier architecture has a better effect.

In order to realize the information management of college English learning, im-prove the management efficiency of college English teaching, and reform the tra-ditional applied teaching mode, this paper proposed to design a college English online learning system, which uses Browser/Server (B/S) as the architecture, JSP technology as the programing language, and MySQL database technology as the data storage and management database. Then, this paper fully analyzed the re-quirements of network English teaching and management and the demands of system users. On this basis, functional module, database design and overall sys-tem architecture were designed, with the relevant interface displayed. The design and implementation of the system can improve the efficiency and quality of Eng-lish teaching and effectively advance the teaching level of college English, which can be applied into extensive fields.

New music rehearsal rooms at a small college suffered from flutter echo and very short reverberation times. The architecture of these rooms included visually elegant designs which the college wanted to retain if feasible. We coordinated with the college, the architect, and a wood worker to develop concept ideas for improvement which would be cost effective and retain the elegant architectural. By using finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulation and mock-up listening tests, we evaluated the acoustic properties of these concept options. After completion of these tests and simulations, a design was implemented in each room based on acoustic performance and visual impact. We will present measurement results pre- and post-renovation, along with our methodology used for the FDTD analysis and mockup testing.

In order to meet the requirements of the development of educational informatization, combined with data mining technology, this article studies the architecture of the college psychological teaching management system. To experience the benefits brought by the Internet age, in order to further improve performance and meet the needs of the Internet information age, many colleges and universities have begun to strengthen the development of teaching management. Based on this background, this article proposes a standardized mode of mental health management in colleges and universities based on information technology. With the help of data warehouse and data mining technology, the ID3 algorithm, organizational rules, and other algorithms are used to develop a psychology subject evaluation system. Based on the improvement of grades and the behavioral characteristics of college students, this article formulates cross-platform operation rules, determines the B/S type as the normal state, and solves the best problem through comparison and selection. Then, a more specific system architecture design is carried out. The architecture of the software system selects the classic three-tier structure, which makes the client independent of the use platform and meets the requirements of user diversity and system portability. The design of functional modules such as the system fully meets the requirements of the ideological education management system for college students in the above analysis, with reasonable structure and clear logic. Finally, the advantages of the designed system architecture are summarized, including clarifying the grading idea of ideological education and training. It expands the transplantation ability of the system in a cross-platform way.

Architecture in Oxford between the Civil War and the early Georgian period presents a fascinating picture of great stylistic change and originality, as vernacular building traditions largely inherited from the Gothic of the Middle Ages were superseded by new design philosophies derived from Renaissance interpretations of classical architecture. The new architecture was driven by an increasingly élite and academic taste, largely dependent upon expensive foreign books and even more costly foreign travel, and necessitated fundamental changes to the established building practices of the colleges, which had hitherto relied largely on local master masons for both construction and design. As architecture ‘was something outside the ken of the average Oxford don’, knowledgeable men, especially those who had travelled abroad and seen modern buildings, became important arbiters of taste, and often drifted into architecture as a result. The first and most famous Oxford man to take this path was Christopher Wren of Wadham College in the 1660s, but he was followed a generation later by Henry Aldrich, Dean of Christ Church, after whose death in 1710 the mantle passed to George Clarke of All Souls College. It is with the significance of the latter two men’s activities at Christ Church that we will presently be concerned.

Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) by using a set of questionnaire was conducted to assess the perception and comfort level required by residents in a college building with the best practice of bioclimatic design strategies. The survey was based on a five-point Likert scale, covering various performance criteria of the building (architectural elements, thermal comfort, indoor air quality, visual comfort, acoustic comfort and landscape features). In the development of modern university education reform, the design of cloud service platform is proposed in the field of education, promoting the brand new management environment, so that teachers and students can enjoy the diversified services through the network platform, change the traditional campus life mode, and truly realize the win-win situation between platform merchants and ordinary users. According to the cumulative experience of Chinese college education reform in recent years, the linkage mechanism of colleges and universities is the main issue of practical inquiry, and plays an important role in the overall implementation of modern education work. Practice training base is the main place for students to practice and also the significant organizations where universities do high level basic research and basic application research. Current situation and problem of practice and training lab management in college is introduced, such as the problems of equipments managements and class arrangement. To analyze the improvement areas of existing lab management practice, design the management platform of practice and training lab basing on Internet of things, using the modern management methods to improve advanced management skills of practice and training lab in polytechnic colleges. Taking internet of things and the characteristics of college into consideration, customized architecture of internet of things is discussed. Prototype of internet of things based management system is proposed. The sensor layer, network layer, support layer and application layer are constructed. Trend of practice and training lab management system and challenges faced are also briefed. Results: Through trial run in some colleges, designed internet of things based lab management system can achieve what is desired by college of polytechnic instrumentation on lab management system and work flow. High efficiency, simple operation, and powerful functions are also proven at the same time.

The author attended Ginasiano Dance School in Porto, Portugal where she studied contemporary and classical Dance , and ESAP (College of Arts, Porto) where she graduated in Architecture. Seeking to congregate her experiences in architecture and dance, she developed her graduation thesis on Notation: Architecture and Dance. After graduation, she was invited to join two art research centers, Centro de Estudos Arnaldo Araújo and Instituto de História da Arte, as a researcher. As an architect, she worked in two offices of architecture - Noventa Graus and Off 4- for two years, on a project for the Center for Performing Arts in Portalegre, and on a contest for the Music Conservatory in Coimbra, among other projects. Simultaneously, she has worked with Kale Dance Company and Círculo Portuense de Opera, in several dance and opera performances, either as a dancer or a stage assistant director. For three years now, she has also taught young children at Ginasiano Dance School developing Expressões, a project that aims to develop the individual through Art in an altogether involvement with movement expression, visual arts, music and drama. The text that follows is a slightly revised and edited version of a paper presented at the international symposion on "Globalization and Local Identity," organized jointly by the World Society for Ekistics and the University of Shiga Prefecture in Hikone, Japan, 19-24 September, 2005.

Based on the the requirements of appropriate reverberation time for the speech acoustic-dominated conference room, which are stipulated in Code for architectural acoustical design of theater ,cinema and multi-use auditorium(GB/T 50356-2005), this paper is trying to redesign the conference room on the fifth floor of the college of architecture and civil engineering of Taiyuan University of Technology, on account of the problems found after the experimental measurement. And the author introduces Ecotect to simulate the redesigning plan, in the hope of providing reference to acoustical design for the speech acoustic-dominated conference room.

The flipped classroom (FC) is a novel teaching mode combining traditional class-room and computer network technology. This paper attempts to design a FC-based education system for college English teaching, which is critical to the quali-ty of English teaching in colleges. In our research, a college English education system is established based on SQL server and FC. The architecture and func-tional modules of the system were discussed in details. Specifically, the system architecture was created based on the browser/server (B/S) structure, the data management was realized by SQL server 2008, and the system functions were designed and achieved by JavaServer Pages (JSP). The proposed system was tested in an actual application. The results confirm that the system can meet the teaching demand, arouse the students’ interest in learning and improve the effect of English teaching.

Architectural Discourse in a typical B.Arch. program across architecture schools in India was dominated by the “Star Architect”, for the most part in post independence India. It probably continues to do so in many schools or is at least an inherent thinking block in the minds of most young architects. However there are many compartments that post independent India can be categorised into, depending on the location and associated growth pattern. The late 90s to 2000s heralded a construction boom in the country, importing many building prototypes mainly from the western world. Landscape Architecture and Urban Design were more peripheral in this context, being limited to historical studies and as a secondary context to the architectural built form. Landscape Architecture was seen through a decorative lens, to be considered post finishing the construction of a building, as an afterthought, as mere decoration. On the other hand Urban Design was not necessarily taught even as an elective in many schools. It was found buried under the aegis of town planning, in very introductory formats in B.Arch. schools. At best it found a place in master’s programs trying to imagine the future India but tied to history in its thinking. Economic growth and associated development became the focus, further blurring boundaries of development, planning and design. Amongst the major centers of architectural training, the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT), Ahmedabad and Sir J J College of Architecture, Mumbai and many other schools in Mumbai, a certain shift in this viewing lens started to occur post liberalisation in the 1990s. Growth fuelled urbanisation and urban sprawl forced the focus on these disciplines at the bachelors study level also. This paper brings forth observations in these changes and how the viewing lens and discourse of these two disciplines now informs architectural education, particularly outside these centres of excellence. After completing the function and performance requirements of the system, the architecture design of the college students’ mental health expert platform is carried out. The overall design of the platform is introduced as a whole, including the logical architecture, topology architecture, and functional architecture of the system. Due to the particularity of the college student’s mental health expert platform, the framework design of the server and the client is made from the system framework level. Then, it introduces the logical design and physical design of the system database, and finally introduces the detailed design of the core function modules in detail. The corresponding weights of each index in the index system are obtained through AHP, and the evaluation model of the mental health expert platform based on AHP is obtained. After testing, it proved that the platform construction was successful. After investigation, more and more students come to the platform for help, and the students believe that functions such as appointment consultation and online consultation should be added.

Abstract This essay is concerned with how architecture was imagined to mediate tropical climate in the interest of forming productive postcolonial national subjects. It charts a transition in approach from late colonial to postcolonial modernist architecture as it was exemplified in the design of the University of Ife campus in Nigeria in the 1960s by an Israeli team led by Arieh Sharon in collaboration with the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Sharon's team formed an alternative to the postwar predominance of sun-shading devices, specifically as the British colonial architects Maxwell Fry and Jane Drew employed them in their design of the neighboring University College Ibadan campus. The essay considers the midcentury discourse on sun-shading devices in relation to the contemporaneous theory of “human capital” and demonstrates how this discourse drew from the eighteenth-century notion of architectural “character,” which links the productive capacities of different races with architectural representation.

Background: College students are experiencing increasing levels of stress, anxiety, and depression, but little research exists on factors weakening the mental health of design students.Aim: This study investigates the prevalence and precursors of mental health challenges among architecture and landscape architecture students.Methods: This study used a convergent mixed-methods research design with three data collection methods: The Depression and Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21; n = 399 students), an online wellness survey (n = 269), and semi-structured interviews (n = 37).Results: Findings reveal that 33%, 46%, and 33% of students screened positive for moderate to extremely severe levels of depression, anxiety, and stress, respectively. The leading factors elevating stress included school deadlines and schedule, workload demands or amount of work outside of class, inadequate sleep, and time spent at work. Negative behaviors due to stress were discussed, including neglect of self-care (e.g., poor sleep patterns, eating habits, and physical inactivity), inability to focus, emotional instability, and social withdrawal.Conclusions: This study underscores mental health concerns among design students and identifies potential factors that contribute to unhealthy habits and compromise academic performance, including pedagogical approaches, learning and teaching culture, studio environment, and lifestyle choices.

In order to improve the unstable operation of teaching system caused by data security, this paper puts forward the design of teaching system of track and field sports training course for college students majoring in electronic engineering education. This paper analyzes the demand of track and field sports training course for teaching system, and on this basis, adopts B / S architecture designs the physical architecture of the system, and designs a two-tier network architecture. According to the application requirements of the system architecture, the hardware environment with high memory is designed. The privacy homomorphism technology is used to encrypt the system data, and the blockchain technology is used to transmit the system data, so as to improve the security of the system data. The experimental results show that the design of the system in the process of operation.

Focuses on an important but overlooked building in late seventeenth-century London: the College of Physicians on Warwick Lane designed by the scientist and architect Robert Hooke in the 1670s. The building, which was commissioned in response to the previous college’s destruction in the Great Fire of London in 1666, was itself demolished in the nineteenth century. In this article, Matthew Walker argues that the conception and design of Hooke’s college had close links with the early Royal Society and its broader experimental philosophical program. This came about through the agency of Hooke—the society’s curator—as well as the prominence of the college’s physicians in the experimental philosophical group in its early years. By analyzing Hooke’s design for the college, and its prominent anatomy theater in particular, this article thus raises broader questions about architecture’s relationship with medicine and experimental science in early modern London.

With the national efforts to increase investment for quality education and an increase in the number of college enrollment music class students, so the college needs more music equipments. And the music equipment management is always one of the challenges for colleges and universities. Accounting treatment system is the core part of the music equipment management system, and this paper carries on study based on SQLServer database and ADO.NET framework. First, database design which includes conceptual structure design and logical structure design should be conducted; then, ADO.NET architecture can be researched, including the description of the structure model and its components; finally, studying the implementation on data layer component which includes the process when creating solutions and the three main processes when implementing data layer component. The successful use of research results in this paper will certainly improve the quality of development efficiency of music equipment management accounting treatment system and promote information construction in colleges and universities.

With a rapid pace of urbanization, urban environment problems have affected large numbers of people and aroused widespread concern. Landscape architecture design helps improve the welfare of urban residents and ecological function of urban green spaces. Course-based influence of college students majoring in landscape architecture is an efficient way to prepare future landscape architects with environmental awareness. This research applied project-based learning (PBL) and zone of proximal development (ZPD) in the landscape architecture design course, and developed the investigation–design–construction PBL modules of the course. The experimental group, 57 college juniors majoring in landscape architecture, received PBL education while learning the course. At the end of the course, a questionnaire was answered by the junior students and the control group, which comprised 60 senior students who received no PBL instruction while learning the same course in the third year. The results indicate that the PBL approach was well accepted by 90% of the experimental group, who were 17.37% more likely to employ pro-environmental design methods in their future work than the control group. It was also found that employing the PBL approach in the landscape architecture design course had a positive influence upon students’ pro-environmental values, knowledge and attitudes.

In order to improve the quality of modern physical education (PE) and let PE teachers get rid of the busy data management, this article puts forward the design of an assessment system about sports performance based on data mining and introduces the scheme of the system in detail. Based on NET three-tier architecture, the demand of users is analyzed, combined with web technology, SQL database platform, and the theory of data mining. The technical architecture of the system and the design of the database are discussed, and the realization of the functional module of sports achievement management is implemented. The system is tested so that the accuracy is verified in use. At the same time, the system runs well after testing and application. Through this system, PE teachers can realize the management and statistics of sports performance, reduce the intensity of teachers, and enable PE teachers to devote themselves to improving the quality of PE teaching.

Architecture design studios spaces needs special treatment for its acoustical environment. Interaction, communication, meetings, and various activities could influence concentration, which in turn, affects other aspects as quality of the architectural concepts and creation level. Workstation arrangement could consider as one of the elements which can improve the design studio acoustical conditions. In this paper, we evaluate the impact of 5 types of workstation arrangement with two different partitions heights (1.10m and 1.60m). The measurements were conducted in the College of Architecture, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, KSA. Speech Transmission Index, STI in the nearest workstation, Distraction distance rD, privacy distance rP, A-weighted background noise level Lp, A, B and A-weighted SPL of speech at 4 meters Lp,A,S,4m have been measured according to ISO 3382-3. We found that U-shaped workstation arrangement can improve the acoustical environment the design studio. Furthermore, good results were observed using 1.60m partition height for all types of arrangements.

Fourah Bay College was the first Western-style university to be established along the West African coast in 1827. Primarily used to train missionaries and traders operating in British West Africa, it remained one of the premier educational establishments, overlooking the docks of Cline Town in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Following the Colonial Development and Welfare Acts and civil unrest in the aftermath of World War II, British colonial policy began to fund a series of secondary and tertiary education institutions. Modeled on the new University of the West Indies, these new universities adopted the residential college dorm typology coupled with the latest modernist architecture designed to enhance climatic comfort.A new campus was proposed for Fourah Bay, and in contrast to earlier precedents, the architectural approach was to be more humble and less monumental. Following a masterplan by London-based architects Norman and Dawbarn, the much smaller and relatively unknown British practice of Frank Rutter was appointed to design most of the campus buildings. The centerpiece is a large concrete tower named after John F. Kennedy, symbolic of the shifting political posturing for control and influence. Following Independence in 1961 and with increasing technical aid offered to neighboring Ghana and Nigeria from Socialist Eastern European powers, Fourah Bay College demonstrated how these political attempts for influence were directly played out through these newly formed institutions. Fourah Bay College also reveals the African agency in appointing architects and who was able to control the procurement processes and design teams. Rutter was dismissed as ‘college architect’ by a small contingent of newly qualified Sierra Leonean architects eager to ensure local appointments and architectural expressions were given opportunity. The campus, with its impressive architectural structures and innovative solutions, mirrors the political flux and shifting global power structures of the late 1950s and early 1960s, along with the local agency of Freetown architects and their quest to shape the future.

The rapid development of technology and information lately affects the way we do things. Along with the existence of remote communication technology makes the work can be done remotely (teleworking). This is the reason for the changing way students learn lately. Students can study anywhere As a result is the decline of academic culture in the campus area because students choose to do learning activities off campus. However, Lambung Mangkurat University as a college has not been able to accommodate the maximum student learning activities outside of college time. Therefore, the Learning Center is needed as a support for learning and academic culture in the campus area. The architecture programming method was chosen as the design method. Programming architecture method is divided into five processes namely goals, facts, concept, needs, and problems. Architectural programming methods pay close attention to the problems in design. Generation Z is the dominant generation in universities today so the trend of learning Generation Z becomes a reference in design. Flexible Learning concept is a Learning Center concept that accommodates students' flexible learning. Flexible Learning is in accordance with generation Z learning trends that have flexibility in learning space, learning media, learning time, and learning style.

Therefore, the Learning Center is needed as a support for learning and academic culture in the campus area. The architecture programming method was chosen as the design method. Programming architecture method is divided into five processes namely goals, facts, concept, needs, and problems. Architectural programming methods pay close attention to the problems in design. Generation Z is the dominant generation in universities today so the trend of learning Generation Z becomes a reference in design. Flexible Learning concept is a Learning Center concept that accommodates students' flexible learning. Flexible Learning is in accordance with generation Z learning trends that have flexibility in learning space, learning media, learning time, and learning style.

College badminton gymnasium is an important place where students take physical exercise. Student satisfaction index for badminton gymnasium is an important factor which influences the design of badminton gymnasium. To improve the design and construction level of college badminton gymnasium, student satisfaction index evaluation system for the design of college badminton gymnasium was constructed, and empirical study of the system was carried out. Delphi method was applied to screen evaluation indicators, and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) was used to confirm the weight of evaluation indicators. Finally, student satisfaction index evaluation system for the design of college badminton gymnasium was constructed, including 3 first-level indicators (external form design, internal layout design and application function design) and 12 second-level indicators. Hunan University of Finance and Economics was taken for example to demonstrate student satisfaction index evaluation system for the design of college badminton gymnasium. Besides, comprehensive evaluation score of the badminton gymnasium was gained. The student satisfaction index evaluation system is an effective tool to evaluate the design of college badminton gymnasium. During the design of college badminton gymnasium in China, the application function and internal layout should mainly be taken into account.

This research paper investigates the significance and design elements of interactive spaces within educational contexts, with a focus on design colleges. Through a comprehensive exploration of various case studies, including the School of Arts and Sciences at Ahmedabad University and the Centre for Environment Planning & Technology, the paper examines the role of formal and informal interactive spaces in fostering collaboration, creativity, and community engagement. Key factors affecting the success of these spaces, such as compatibility with user needs, achieving balance between social interaction and isolation, transparency, contact with nature, and design elements influencing interactive environments, are analysed. The findings highlight the importance of thoughtful design and planning in creating dynamic learning environments that support diverse modes of interaction and enhance the overall educational experience. Sustainable manufacturing is essential for boosting resource allocation efficiency, as well as sustainable economic development, while the construction industry is one of the main sectors affecting it. However, the complexity of multidisciplinary integration of sustainable manufacturing makes it challenging to fully integrate into architectural design teaching. By incorporating architectural design competitions in architectural design teaching, we can encourage students to systematically reflect on the role of elements beyond traditional architectural design during the architectural design process to help them gain a more comprehensive understanding of sustainable manufacturing. The research results were obtained with a combination of both qualitative and quantitative analysis. We analyzed the survey data through grounded theory and presented the results graphically, which include a framework for promoting the learning of sustainable manufacturing through architectural design competitions in teaching architectural design. In order to gain an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the teaching effect and to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, in addition to qualitative analysis, we also adopted statistical analysis to clarify whether the new teaching method is really effective. In evaluating whether there was a statistically significant difference in the understanding of sustainable manufacturing between students who participated in architectural design competitions and those who did not, according to the established teaching objectives, we found that a statistically significant difference did exist in the results, and further analyzed other contributing factors through regression analysis. Our research shows that introducing architectural design competitions into architectural design teaching is a feasible way to promote students’ understanding of sustainable manufacturing. In architectural design competitions, sustainable-manufacturing-related elements, such as resources and economy, were taken into consideration in line with various design elements, such as site, environment, ecology, and energy consumption, which were integrated into students’ design process of thinking, drawing, modeling, and presenting. In this way, students will have a clearer understanding of approaches to achieve sustainable manufacturing through architectural design. This research helps tap into the value and potential of architectural design competitions in delivering sustainable manufacturing during architecture education and can offer references for college teachers to conduct sustainability education.

This study aims to improve the efficiency of modern college English teaching. With interactive teaching as the core element, smart classrooms as technical support, and informationization, automation, and interaction as the main body, a smart system for college English teaching is established based on cloud computing and Internet of Things (IoT). The system is built using the B/S architecture and verified by specific example data, to prove the effectiveness of the proposed smart system for college English teaching based on the IoT. It is found that the smart platform for English teaching based on the IoT not only effectively improves the stability of the system, but also enhances the personal experience of students. The coordinated operation of the various modules reduces the response time of the system. When the number of users reaches 500, the average response time of the system is 3.65 seconds, and the memory and occupancy rate of the system are reduced. Students who receive smart classrooms for teaching have a greater improvement in the test results of various aspects of English without teacher intervention. The proposed model can significantly improve the performance of poor students and reduce the gap in learning performance in the class, which provides reliable research ideas for smart teaching in modern colleges and universities.

According to the FPGA system model, we design the coupling scheme of basic knowledge and professional skills cultivation of higher vocational colleges architectural major, and use the matrix algorithm to improve the scheme, which realizes the overall coordination development of architecture students. Combining with the matrix variance, we establish talents cultivation coupling model of higher vocational colleges architectural major, and give the expression of coupling coefficient function. Finally, we use VC programming to set up the computer coupled solver, and solve the success cultivation rate of modern architectural talent, and get the coupling effect of talent cultivation. It provides a new computer method for talents cultivation in higher vocational colleges.
