AbstractA group of 110 gold-tooled bindings, covering mainly incunabula, as well as a few sixteenth-, seventeenth-, and eighteenth-century works, was produced in a bindery in The Hague during the eighteenth century, presumably for one collector. This article describes the detective work which has led to the identification of the owner of these finely bound books as Samuel van Huls, a Hague magistrate and avid collector of books and pictures.

Recently Bacon, Childs and van Dam showed that the ``pretty good measurement'' (PGM) is optimal for the Hidden Subgroup Problem on the dihedral group $D_n$ in the case where the hidden subgroup is chosen uniformly from the $n$ involutions. We show that, for any group and any subgroup $H$, the PGM is the optimal one-register experiment in the case where the hidden subgroup is a uniformly random conjugate of $H$. We go on to show that when $H$ forms a Gel'fand pair with its parent group, the PGM is the optimal measurement for any number of registers. In both cases we bound the probability that the optimal measurement succeeds. This generalizes the case of the dihedral group, and includes a number of other examples of interest.

AbstractMotivated by location-based social networks which allow people to access location-based services as a group, we study a novel variant of optimal sequenced route (OSR) queries, optimal sequenced route for group meetup (OSR-G) queries. OSR-G query aims to find the optimal meeting POI (point of interest) such that the maximum users’ route distance to the meeting POI is minimized after each user visits a number of POIs of specific categories (e.g., gas stations, restaurants, and shopping malls) in a particular order. To process OSR-G queries, we first propose an OSR-Based (OSRB) algorithm as our baseline, which examines every POI in the meeting category and utilizes existing OSR (called E-OSR) algorithm to compute the optimal route for each user to the meeting POI. To address the shortcomings (i.e., requiring to examine every POI in the meeting category) of OSRB, we propose an upper bound based filtering algorithm, called circle filtering (CF) algorithm, which exploits the circle property to filter the unpromising meeting POIs. In addition, we propose a lower bound based pruning (LBP) algorithm, namely LBP-SP which exploits a shortest path lower bound to prune the unqualified meeting POIs to reduce the search space. Furthermore, we develop an approximate algorithm, namely APS, to accelerate OSR-G queries with a good approximation ratio. Finally the experimental results show that both CF and LBP-SP outperform the OSRB algorithm and have high pruning rates. Moreover, the proposed approximate algorithm runs faster than the exact OSR-G algorithms and has a good approximation ratio.

Purpose This paper aims to provide an overview of existing condition, rules and implementation of CSR and create harmony models of corporate social responsibility (CSR) between regulation, Javanese culture values and universal principles, to fill the lack of CSR regulation in Indonesia. Design/methodology/approach This study is based on sociology legal research. The regulations and principles have been studied by using the approach of law and social sciences. That characteristic is descriptive evaluative. The primary data are taken from interview with the senior source relations of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) in Jakarta, President Director of PT Rosalia Indah Group in Surakarta and Your Honour Prince of Surakarta Hanadiningrat Kingdom. Secondary data are obtained from the review of the literatures pertaining to the material. Secondary data consist of legal materials such as regulations, books, papers and other references. Data analysis technique use theoretical interpretative. Findings CSR is implemented by company only for lifting the image. CSR fund allocation is still a company’s secret, and it becomes evidence of the lack of transparency for companies to manage and provide social cost to society. It can also be found that some companies collect donations from the public for disaster relief, but in the distribution of aid, they use the name of a CSR company. There is polarization in the implementation of CSR. A government- owned company is already bound by the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of state-owned enterprises. Research limitations/implications This paper discusses the CSR implementation in Indonesia and it creates a model of accountability of CSR to fill the legal vacuum that occurs at this time. This paper formulates a good relation between traditional Javanese value, government regulations and universal CSR principle. Practical implications There remains a mismatch between the Javanese values of philosophy with the positive regulatory norms that result in the implementation of CSR only to meet the requirements of the positive regulatory norm and ignore the obligations involved and to aid the prosperity of the public society. Social implications Communities around a company have not been able to enjoy the advantages of the company. Communities should fight for their own lives without being dependent on or being supported by a company’s existence. Originality/value This research combines the Javanese values with the positive legal regulations in the implementation of CSR in Indonesia. This research has not been conducted by the others. This research will provides benefits on the idea of imposing sanctions on the non-implementation of CSR, not only through positive legal regulations but also through social sanctions embodied in the Javanese values.

This book is a collection of essays written by a variety of experts on Turkey and social movements and provides a critical analysis of the role of the Gülen Movement (GM)—or Hizmet (“service”), as it is referred to by its adherents—in the coup attempt which was undertaken by one or more factions of the Turkish armed forces in July 2016. Edited and contributed to by M. Hakan Yavuz and Bayram Balci, this work began at a conference in October of 2016, where these experts gathered to discuss the coup itself as well as its implications and ramifications. The chapters in the book all build off of each other to some degree, with earlier chapters covering the history of the GM and the ways in which it has acquired influence both in Turkey and abroad; the coup and structural factors both within Turkish society; and the GM alliance with the Justice and Development Party (AKP) led by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the current president of Turkey. Later chapters expand in scope, covering the foreign policy implications of the coup both for Turkey and the United States, where Fethullah Gülen, the eponymous leader of the movement, resides today. Several chapters engage the state of the scholarship on the GM itself, effectively unpacking the ways in which the organization has actively co-opted academia by offering paid trips to Turkey, publishing non-peer-reviewed material, and funding conferences which avoid critical analysis of the GM. In the introduction Balci and Yavuz discuss the history of the Turkish state, giving particular focus to the place of religion under Kemal Atatürk; the pair discusses how the Turkish concept of secularism hews much more closely to the Jacobin tradition than the Anglo-American understanding. This is quite important as the alliance between the AKP and the GM (following Turkish elections in 2002 wherein the AKP swept to power) rested on a shared desire to overthrow the Kemalist conception of secularism, which seeks to dominate religion and prevent its expression in the public sphere. The book’s first chapter, written by Yavuz, charts the GM’s development over time, enumerating three key stages in its history. The first was that of a loosely bound religious network, encouraged by their leader to do good works; the second marked the expansion of the GM both within and outside of Turkey as an education-providing and media powerhouse; the third saw the GM create a parallel state structure in Turkey, which was mobilized to further increase the movement’s power throughout the 2000s and this current decade, most famously during the coup itself, though a variety of other incidents are discussed here and throughout the book. The next chapter details the coup itself, giving background which is necessary to understand the rest of the work and underlining four key junctures which put Turkey on the path to the July 15th event. The chapter’s author, Mujeeb R. Khan, notes that the structure of Turkish institutions (particularly its version of secularism), the continued domination of the Turkish deep state following the introduction of multi-party elections several decades ago, the neo-liberal opening Turkey experienced in the 1980s, and the rise of the AKP in the early 2000s all played integral roles in the rise of the GM and, eventually, the coup. Yavuz collaborated with Rasim Koç to write the third chapter, which examines the relationship between the GM and Erdoğan’s AKP (beginning with the unspoken alliance between the two which started after AKP’s 2002 electoral victory and whose disintegration led to the coup) as well as foreign policy consequences it had for Turkey. Chapters 4 and 5, written by Michael A. Reynolds and Kiliç Kanat, examine the coup, including the factors and events which led to both its occurrence and its failure. Kanat’s examination of why the coup failed is particularly interesting; he compares and contrasts the failure with previous successful coups which occurred in Turkey during the mid- to late-twentieth century. The next chapter, written by Caroline Tee, returns specifically to the topic of the AKP-GM relationship, digging deeply into the events which caused what on the surface seemed like a natural alliance to fracture and, during 2016, turn upon itself. Sabine Dreher’s chapter follows Tee’s, and is one of the most theoretical in the book, as it places the GM in the contexts of neoliberal and globalist theory, and notes internal contradictions within the movement itself. She considers how the global goals of the organization—the eradication of ignorance through educational work, the alleviation of poverty through private enterprise run by movement members, and the hosting of intercultural and interfaith dialogue— stand at odds with the nationalist project of the GM in Turkey, where movement members attempted to seize control of the state they had been infiltrating for some time as opposed to working outside of it. Balci wrote the eighth chapter, which deals with the GM movement’s presence in former Soviet satellites, namely Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Following the coup attempt in 2016, the Turkish government pressured all of these states to shut down any GM movement activities within their countries, which was difficult as the GM provided excellent education to the children of elites in these nations. He then charts the differing reactions of the states mentioned above. The ninth chapter, by David Tittensor, turns to the structure of the GM and how secrecy and hierarchy play crucial roles in it, a reality which is often denied by the majority of scholarship—though he and other contributors to the work might dispute the use of the term “scholarship”, or at least qualify it. He does end his chapter with a criticism of the theory that GM members were key leaders of the coup, a conclusion which is at odds with that of most other contributors to the volume. The tenth chapter, by Yavuz Çobanoĝlu, provides insight into the role of women in the GM, criticizing some of Gülen’s writings and detailing the experiences of female students living in GM dormitories in Turkey, an experience that many of the women surveyed found to be repressive. Kristina Dohrn’s contribution outlines the activities and role of the GM movement in Tanzania, which, similar to Balci’s chapter, deals with repercussions of the coup and examines potential paths forward for the GM outside of Turkey. The work’s final chapter, written by Joshua Hendrick, is about how the GM presented itself as a “good” Islam in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, during a period in which the West writ large was searching for a “modern” version of the religion which it could champion in opposition to extremism. He effectively critiques the idea that religion itself can be good or bad, and rightly puts the onus on the actors themselves. The book ends with a postscript which examines the four major theories about how the coup may have come to pass, and comes to the conclusion that GM members were central and sole actors in the coup, which was in all likelihood approved by Gülen himself. This work does an excellent job of unpacking the GM and its various religious and political facets, even for the relatively uninitiated reader, and pushes back strongly against what it identifies as the prevailing anti-Erdoĝan Western narratives about the coup, which try to shift blame away from the GM and onto the shoulders of other actors, including the AKP leader. Particularly interesting is the book’s criticism of GM-sponsored scholarship, which is cited as one of the primary ways in which the GM has ingratiated itself worldwide, as it frames the group as “good” Islam. The work refrains from being speculative but does examine possible futures for the GM, mostly outside of Turkey, as the country’s government has gone to extreme lengths to uproot the movement in its homeland—lengths that the authors do rightly criticize as going too far, if somewhat tepidly at times. The US-Turkey relationship as it relates to the GM issue, specifically hisresidence in the US, is also examined in some depth and leads a student of either Islam in the US or the country’s politics to wonder if the GM has successfully insinuated itself into any institutions here, as it has done in Turkey. The author of this review once believed that Erdoĝan may have permitted or even been behind the coup attempt as a vehicle to consolidate power, but the evidence and arguments presented by the authors of this work have swayed his point of view; the GM was almost certainly responsible for the coup attempt, and it seems likely that Gülen himself gave his blessing to the members of his movement who carried it out.

Abstract Let G be a finite group. The real genus ρ(G) is the minimum algebraic genus of any compact bordered Klein surface on which G acts. Here we obtain a good general lower bound for the real genus of the group G. We use the standard representation of G as a quotient of a non-euclidean crystallographic group by a bordered surface group. The lower bound is used to determine the real genus of several infinite families of groups; the lower bound is attained for some of these families. Among the groups considered are the dicyclic groups and some abelian groups. We also obtain a formula for the real genus of the direct product of an elementary abelian 2-group and an “even” dicyclic group. In addition, we calculate the real genus of an abstract family of groups that includes some interesting 3-groups. Finally, we determine the real genus of the direct product of an elementary abelian 2-group and a dihedral group.

This paper deals with the modular irregularity strength of a graph of vertices, a new graph invariant, modified from the well-known irregularity strength, by changing the condition of the vertex-weight set associate to the irregular labeling from distinct positive integer to -the group of integer modulo . Investigating the triangular book graph , we first find the irregularity strength of triangular book graph , which is also the lower bound for the modular irregularity strength, and then construct a modular irregular -labeling. The result shows that triangular book graphs admit a modular irregular labeling and its modular irregularity strength and irregularity strength are equal, except for a small case.

The outcome of these reactions can be rationalized by ring conformation considerations of a proposed chelated organosamarium intermediate, and a mechanism involving intramolecular protonation by a samarium-bound water.

In every living system the information for maintaining and propagating life is contained within a genome. This ‘book of life’ is written in the language of DNA. For life to exist, access to this is essential in order to replicate and repair genetic information for the benefit of future generations. An important group of molecular motor proteins, the helicases, allows access to this book of life by opening up the DNA double helix and exposing the DNA text of individual strands for replication, transcription, translation and repair. Like all molecular motors, helicases use chemical energy derived from the binding and hydrolysis of nucleotide triphosphates, usually ATP, to carry out mechanical tasks. They come in a variety of structures and employ different mechanisms to carry out diverse mechanical tasks. One large group of helicases are required for repairing DNA that has become damaged by radiation, chemicals or other proteins stuck on the DNA (‘roadblocks’). These DNA repair helicases are also diverse in form and function, having evolved in all forms of life to deal with many different types of DNA damage. However, they have the common property of being able to slide along and unwind DNA molecules to allow DNA repair enzymes access to fix the damage.

We show that if the Standard Model gauge fields and fermions propagate in extra dimenions, a composite Higgs field with the correct quantum number can arise naturally as a bound state due to the strong gauge interactions in higher dimensions. The top quark mass and the Higgs mass can be predicted from the infrared fixed points of the renormalization group equations. The top quark mass is in good agreement with the experimental value, and the Higgs boson mass is predicted to be ~ 200GeV. There may be some other light bound states which could be observed at upcoming collider experiments.

Abstract in English: The arrival of refugees and asylum seekers to Malaysia from several countries to seek protection from persecution has prompted Malaysia to provide due protection to this group based on humanity. In principle, the government does not recognize them as refugees because Malaysia is not a country bound by the 1951 Refugee Status Convention or the 1967 Refugee Status Protocol. This study focuses on the history of the arrival of refugees and asylum seekers to Malaysia and the development of legislation that regulates their movement. This study uses qualitative methods, where it is done through reading materials from the library such as books, journals, articles and newspapers. This writing adapts a qualitative research pattern based on history. The purpose of this study is to find out the history of refugees in Malaysia and the legal and accurate legal requirements for them, and it is to ensure that they are treated humane and not oppressed in any way, or any form.The policy approach based on maqāṣid sharīahproposed by the government is seen as a good alternative in addressing and resolving some issues that surround refugees in Malaysia in general. The results show that there are many crisis and problems about refugees that affect them not only individually but also indirectly affect the Malaysian economy. An important role is to identify the appropriate policies or laws related to refugees in Malaysia, the extent of the application meets the requirements of maqāṣid sharīahas well as the need to design a strong and appropriate policy or legal framework to ensure the country does not face problems, in accepting refugees in the future. Abstract in Bahasa Malaysia: Kedatangan pelarian dan pencari suaka ke Malaysia dari beberapa negara untuk mendapatkan perlindungan yang berpunca daripada penganiayaan telah mendorong Malaysia untuk memberikan perlindungan yang sewajarnya kepada golongan ini atas dasar kemanusiaan, secara dasarnya kerajaan tidak mengiktiraf mereka sebagai pelarian kerana Malaysia bukan negara yang terikat kepada Konvensyen Status Pelarian 1951 atau Protokol Status Pelarian 1967. Kajian ini memberi tumpuan kepada sejarah kedatangan pelarian dan pencari suaka ke Malaysia dan perkembangan perundangan yang mengatur pergerakan mereka. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kualitatif melalui kajian kepustakaan seperti buku, jurnal, artikel dan surat khabar. Penulisan ini mengadaptasi corak penyelidikan kualitatif yang berdasarkan sejarah. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejarah pelarian di Malaysia dan keperluan undang-undang yang tepat dan kukuh untuk mereka, ia bagi memastikan mereka diperlakukan secara manusiawi dan tidak dizalimi dengan apa-apa cara, atau bentuk sekalipun. Penerapan dasar berasaskan maqāṣid syariah yang dicadang kerajaan dilihat sebagai satu alternatif yang baik dalam menangani dan menyelesaikan beberapa isu berkaitan pelarian di Malaysia secara amnya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat banyak krisis dan masalah mengenai pelarian yang tidak hanya mempengaruhi mereka secara individu tetapi juga secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi ekonomi Malaysia. Peranan penting untuk mengenal pasti dasar atau undang-undang yang tepat berkaitan pelarian di Malaysia, sejauh mana pengamalannya memenuhi kehendak maqāṣid syariah dan juga keperluan untuk merancang kerangka dasar atau undang-undang yang kukuh dan sesuai bagi memastikan negara tidak menghadapi masalah dalam menerima pelarian pada masa akan datang.

Between 1640 and 1642 the Church of England collapsed, its leaders reviled and discredited, its structures paralysed, its practices if not yet proscribed, at least inhibited. In the years that followed, yet worse was to befall it. And yet in every year of its persecution after 1646, new shoots sprang up out of the fallen timber: bereft of episcopal leadership, lacking any power of coercion, its observances illegal, anglicanism thrived. As memories of the 1630s faded and were overlaid by the tyrannies of the 1640s … the deeper rhythms of the Kalendar and the ingrained perfections of Cranmer’s liturgies bound a growing majority together.Professor John Morrill, quoted above, has rightly identified a set of historiographical contradictions about the Stuart Church in a series of important articles. Historians have until recently paid little attention to the positive and popular elements of conformity to the national Church of England in the period before the civil war. The lack of interest in conformity has led to a seventeenth-century version of the old Whig view of the late medieval Church: the Church of England is presented as a complacent, corrupt, and clericalist institution, ‘ripe’ – as the English Church in the early sixteenth century was ‘ripe’ – to be purified by reformers. However, if this was the case, how does one account for the durable commitment to the Prayer Book demonstrated during the 1640s and 1650s and the widespread – but not universal – support for the ‘return’ of the Church of England in 1660?This paper contributes to the larger exploration of the theme of ‘the Church and the book’ by addressing in particular the continued use by clergy and laity alike of one ‘book’ – the Book of Common Prayer – after its banning by Parliament during the years of civil war and the Commonwealth.

Most notably, McCullough calculated the real genus of each finite abelian group [13]. In addition, there is a good general lower bound for the real genus of a finite group [11].

Abstract This paper draws on a translated and adapted excerpt from the author’s book, Marguerite Duras: La chambre noire de l’écriture (2021) (original title: 玛格丽特·杜拉斯:写作的暗房). Starting with Marguerite Duras’s unpublished essay, “Les petits pieds de la Chine,” written around 1950, this paper aims to reveal how childhood memories are generated and transformed into Duras’s typical mode of writing about the self over time, which holds good for understanding and analyzing the five versions of lover(s) that Duras created from the 1940s to the early 1990s. The theme and destination of Duras’s creation is not so much love as writing, which never stops generating “another possibility of returning to the original book.”

The dynamics of perturbations around sinks and sources of traveling waves (TW) is studied in the cubic-quintic Ginzburg–Landau equation from an analytical point of view. Perturbations generically propagate in a direction opposite to the TW. Thus, a sink of TW is a source of perturbations and vice versa. For small values of time we predict there is a lower bound for the group velocity. For large values of time we predict the asymptotic value of the group velocity of the wave packet. Both predictions are in good agreement with direct numerical simulations.

Background : Hypertension is common in adults but hypertension now occurs in adolescents. Prevalence of hypertension according to Semarang City Health Office teen age group has increased from 6,01% (2009) to 8,7% (2013). Preliminary survey with blood pressure measurement on 60 adolescents at SMAN 15 Semarang, 43,3% high blood pressureObjective : To know the effectiveness of nutritional counseling with pocket book media to knowledge, attitude about hypertension prevention, sodium and fiber feeding habit in adolescents at SMAN 15 Semarang. Method : Clinical nutrition study with quasi experimental research type and randomized pre and post test group control design. Number of sampelts 20 treatments and 20 controls. Data collected were data of knowledge, attitude, eating habits of sodium and fiber. The analysis used to test the average difference in the treatment and control group using the Independent t-test. Results: The result of post test of knowledge of treatment group 100% good and control group 30% good. Post test attitude of treatment group 55% support and control group 50% support. Post test feeding habits sodium treatment group 55% good and control group 10% good. Post test feeding habits fiber group treatment 25% good and control group 10% good.Conclusion: Nutrition counseling with pocket book is effective to improves knowledge and eating habits of sodium but is not effective at improving fiber eating attitudes and habits. Efforts to prevent hypertension need to be done cooperation between BK with Local Health Center to do filtering especially hypertension.

Considering the mixing of scalar mesons, the ΩΩ and Ξ*Ω systems are dynamically investigated within the framework of the chiral SU(3) quark model by solving the resonating group method (RGM) equation. The model parameters are taken from our previous work, which gave a good description of the energies of the baryon ground states, the binding energy of deuteron, and the experimental data of the nucleon–nucleon (NN) and nucleon–hyperon (NY) scattering processes. Two different mixing cases, one is the ideal mixing and another is 19° mixing, are discussed. The results show that no matter what kind of mixing is adopted, the ΩΩ and Ξ*Ω systems are still bound states. It is also shown that they are deeply bound if 19° mixing is adopted.

Teaching modules are written materials in the form of paper sheets that are bound and covered and present knowledge that is systematically arranged. This research aims to develop valid, effective, and practical teaching modules based on the culture of Pakpak Bharat Sumatra. This study uses a research and development (R&D) model with the ADDIE model with five main stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This teaching module has been validated by 9 experts, namely material experts, media design experts, and linguists. The study had 2 trials: a small group trial (15 students) and a large group trial (45 students). Based on the combined percentage of validity of teaching modules, according to experts, 82% is categorized as "good/valid." The practicality of the teaching module was measured through the RPP implementation sheet carried out in a small group trial of 81% categorized as good/valid and a large group trial of 88% categorized as "very good/very valid". Based on these results, it can be concluded that the teaching module in class V of SD Sibengkurung North Sumatra is categorized as "suitable for use".

This research aims to apply the PQ4R strategy with social studies flip book media to 5th grade students of SDN Geluran 1 in online learning. This is done in order to improve student learning outcomes during online learning that is less interactive due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were obtained from class 5 SDN Geluran 1, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. This research method uses pretest-posttest control group design. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Learning activities with the application of PQ4R strategy through flip book media, there are two activities, namely teacher activities, the results of which are 86.25% can be categorized as very good and for student activities, 84% are obtained in the very good category. (2) Student responses to the implementation of the PQ4R strategy through flip book media on social studies learning outcomes in class V, there is a percentage of 73% which can be categorized as good. (3) The application of the PQ4R strategy through flip book media on social studies learning outcomes in grade 5 in a similar sample, namely the experimental group there is thitung > ttabel or 33,609 > 1,708. While the learning outcomes with different types of data, namely the experimental group and the control group obtained thitung of 2,262 and ttabel of 2,000, then thitung > ttabel. In other words, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of PQ4R using flip book media has a very good effect on learning outcomes for social studies subjects for grade 5 students at SDN Geluran 1, Taman Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency.

This study aims to develop learning media formed book and video of leadership and coach communication in football to build understanding about the importance of leadership and communication in the world of coaching. The research method used is research and development referenced to the burg and gall’s research steps which is simplified by Puslitjaknov team. The subjects of this study were the college student of football coaching who has been passed the Leadership and Coaching Communication. Small group trial was conducted on 12 respondents, large group trial with 40 respondents. The instrument used were questionnaire and evaluation sheet. The obtained results data are quantitative and qualitative descriptive. Qualitative data are analysed using a scale so that it can show the level of product feasibility. The results of the study show that the book and visualization video of leadership and coach communication in football is feasible for learning media. These results were obtained from the material expert’s validation of 96.8% which means good / feasible and media expert’s validation of 88% which means good / decent. In a small group trial, this product received an assessment result of 81.5% which is categorized as good / decent, while in the trial of a large group this product got scored 86.48% which is categorized as good and feasible to use. It can be concluded that this product is good / feasible to use. As suggestions, this book and visualization video can be developed further through comprehensive research.

If S is a set of valuations of K, we also define S-Brauer points in a natural way. It is natural to ask how good a bound on the rational points is provided by the Brauer (or S-Brauer) points.Let p > 3 be a prime number, and let X be the Fermat curve of degree p, xp + yp = 1. Let K be the field of p-th roots of unity, and let r be the p-rank of the class group of K. In this paper we show that if r < (p + 3)/8, then the set of p-Brauer points on X has cardinality at most p. We construct elements of the Brauer group of X by relating it to the Weil-Chatelet group of the jacobian of X, then use the method of Coleman and Chabauty to bound the points cut out by these elements.

The National Széchényi Library bought Desiderius Erasmus’ famous work, the Institutio principis Christiani printed in Basel in 1516 by Johann Froben at an auction organized by the Borda Antiquarian Bookshop in 1994. Erzsébet Muckenhaupt has demonstrated that this book was bound in leather in the same bookbinding workshop as two early 16th century Hungarian-language manuscripts, codices Lányi and Apor. The Erasmus volume was restored and fragments of prints were discovered in its binding in 2004. In the first part of the paper, I present the bibliographical data of the host book and of the six print fragments used as binder’s waste. In the second part of the study, I analyse the six works from the point of view of content and form. I try to find out whether the fragments are related somehow, from where the bookbinders acquired them, and whether the fact that the publishing of three of the prints used as binder’s waste was connected to the booksellers of Buda is more than mere accident. In answering these questions, I resort to the content analysis of the volumes which were bound at the same place as the Lányi Codex in order to find out more about the bookbinding workshop where the analysed fragments were used as binder’s waste. All these suggest that the group of volumes related to the Lányi Codex with regard to their binding were bound in a workshop operated by or in close contact with the booksellers of Buda.

One of the central issues in the hidden subgroup problem is to bound the sample complexity, i.e., the number of identical samples of coset states sufficient and necessary to solve the problem. In this paper, we present general bounds for the sample complexity of the identification and decision versions of the hidden subgroup problem. As a consequence of the bounds, we show that the sample complexity for both of the decision and identification versions is $\Theta(\log|\HH|/\log p)$ for a candidate set $\HH$ of hidden subgroups in the case \REVISE{where the candidate nontrivial subgroups} have the same prime order $p$, which implies that the decision version is at least as hard as the identification version in this case. In particular, it does so for the important \REVISE{cases} such as the dihedral and the symmetric hidden subgroup problems. Moreover, the upper bound of the identification is attained \REVISE{by a variant of the pretty good measurement}. \REVISE{This implies that the concept of the pretty good measurement is quite useful for identification of hidden subgroups over an arbitrary group with optimal sample complexity}.

We use large sieve inequalities for the Riemann surfaces ${{\Gamma\backslash{\mathbb{H}}}}$ to obtain average results for the error term, which are conjecturally optimal. We give a new proof of the error bound ${O(X^{2/3})}$, due to Good. For ${{\mathrm{SL}_{2}({\mathbb{Z}})}}$ we interpret our results in terms of indefinite quadratic forms.

This paper aims to discuss the Hadith in the book of Faḍāil A'māl by Maulana Zakariyya al-Kandahlawi. This book is the primary reference for the Tablighi Jamaat group in practicing the sunnahs of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh. By adopting the al-Irāqi method in capturing the book (takhrīj al-kitāb) of Iḥyā ‘Ulūm al-Dīn, this paper traces the authenticity of the Hadiths and potrays the interaction of the Tablighi Jamaat group with the book which later became a tradition in daily life. This paper find that there are 22 authentic (Ṣaḥiḥ) Hadiths, 1 good (Ḥasan) Hadith, 9 weak (dā’if) Hadith, 5 very weak (da’īf jiddan) Hadith, 1 fabricated (maudu’) Hadith, and 2 la aṣla lahu (lam ajidhu) Hadith in Faḍāil A'māl Book.

This research aims to analyze the extent to which communication skills, teamwork, leadership and disconnection opinion affect employee performance of KPPBC Customs Office Middle Type Tanjung Perak Surabaya. The total population is 334 people who are employees KPBBC Customs Office Middle Type Tanjung Perak Surabaya. The Object of this study is 25% of the population that is as much as 83 respondents. The analyzes were performed using multiple linear regression analysis were used to prove the effect of independent variable (X) to the bound variable (Y). The result of this research is, employee communication skills is an obstacle to the success of a work group or team work. Communications will generate positive synergy within the group. Good communication will be created through an organized effort by a leader who can mobilize, align, leading the group, and have the ability to explain the ideas that can be accepted by others. Good decision is a decision resulting from a thorough analysis of a problem, and decisions affect employee performance improvement.

In the contemporary world, modernising at an incredible pace, an increasing importance is being placed on education, which is supposed to prepare communities for this acceleration. A few areas can be separated during discussions on education: among the others it is the issue of competencies indispensable on the labour market of the future as well as values and global education. Such issues are also a starting point for the authors of the publication issued in English “Responsibility – Participation - Conscious Citizenship – The Dilemmas of Global Education. Global education – as it is the main subject matter of the publication - was implemented into Polish system of education in the school year 2009/2010 (it was placed in the core curriculum of general education). Prior to this, in 2002 in Maastricht European politicians developed Declaration of Global Education which put forward systemic solutions in this area. The significance of education in the world of multiculturalism and globalization was stressed out long before by researchers indicating the need to focus on such issues and prepare communities for the challenges of postmodernity. It emerges that after more than a dozen years of implementing and practicing global education there is still a need to intellectually deal with this difficult and complex notion. Real practice has revealed a number of areas which still are and will long continue to remain a challenge both for researchers and practitioners. The aim of the publication, edited by Klaudia Śledzińska, is to provide an answer to the question not so much about the essence of global education in Polish educational practice but rather about its axionormative dimension and values implemented in various social dimensions. The axis for deliberations undertaken by the authors is based on such values like responsibility, committed participation and social engagement. It is education – as observed by the editor in the introduction – that is supposed to “enhance the awareness and reflexive cognition of phenomena, social processes, interrelations between people and places, as well as to foster stronger social engagement” [s.8], It should also contribute to better understanding of mutual interrelations and the permeation of cultural, environmental, economic, social, political and technological systems. This, however requires a basic consensus regarding the understanding and interpretations of the values essential in education as well as their transmission methods. The publication is composed of three parts: the first two make an attempt to put in order the notions and conceptualize the categories of responsibility as well civic participation and civic society and akin ideas of a social bond and social capital. Part three deals with selected concepts of social life and experience, wherein we can discern the very essence of responsibility, participation and process towards conscious citizenship. Thus, presented are those aspects through which “we can appreciate the significance of educational actions towards the formation of responsible civic attitudes, notably work according to a corporational model, employee - volunteering, insurance reciprocity, horizontal and vertical gender segregation in scientific milieu as well as lifelong learning and activation of older people” [s.11]. It worth emphasizing several significant issues emphasized by the Authors and related to the notions related to global education, especially in the context of transformations of contemporary societies. One of them is a crucial issue present in public and academic discourse and dealing with the division of the world into global North and South, the impact of which is mostly “felt” by the countries of a global South. Global education which was supposed to increase sensitivity to the problems of inequality and bring closer or tame “the Other” has become an element of a specific symbolic violence and imposing on poor countries the civilizational and economic model incorporated in the countries of the North. Klaudia Śledzińska in her chapter focuses on a “hidden programme” of global education, thus a Europocentric, stereotyping model of creating a global awareness, taking no consideration of the specificity and local conditions, which the countries of the North “offer” to the global South. Another manifestation of organizing the world according to old post-colonial principles is “educational disease”, that is “forcing by the rich North the only vision of the development of the deprived regions, in both individual and group dimensions, by means of formal education towards achieving a high social status” [s.43]. Thus, paradoxically the present task of global education is to deconstruct itself and include/ take into consideration other perspectives and discourses, including the ones put forward by minorities. It is teaching responsibility, creating a strong personal subjectivity, stressing out respect to subjectivity of “the Other”, learning “out of Others and from Others [s.47]. Only such attitude where “personal subjectivity of “you” appears through “I” (and vice versa) (…) and thereby secures relationships which no longer carry the features of exploitation, injustice or dominance” [s.47]. In their publication, the Authors indicate and emphasize the significance of numerous citizen-making mechanisms, practices and strategies, which they place in the context of education, making it possible to disseminate and enhance them. Both the employee participation in companies, employee volunteering, pro-social activity on community portals but also more increasingly a common activity of women, the elderly not only on the labour market but also in the social sphere contributes to building a mature civic society. Nonetheless, it will not be lasting unless education provides substantial foundations based on commonly developed values. The proposal of the model of education offered in the publication means “focusing on teaching a pupil/student – not as an uprooted citizen of the world , but as a citizen endowed with his own unique identity, socially enrooted in concrete local contexts and capable of making rational choices”[s.52]. This statement - though perhaps controversial - gives the publication Authors- proprietary feature. It reveals that the recently depreciated locality and identity, built around universal values such as responsible partnership still remains valid. In the first chapters of the publication a certain nostalgia for the return of the “culture of character” instead of the currently functioning culture of personality is clearly seen (from the perspective of one of the authors, a crucial moment for an axio-normative shift and understanding responsibility took place in the early 20th century). It “was a shift from the culture of character to the culture of personality, from internal to external values” . “The culture of character was associated with the notions of, e.g.: citizenship, obligation, democracy, labour, honour, reputation, morality. The culture of personality, in other words, the culture of “making a good impression on others” and “standing out from the crowd” refers rather to the categories of: fascination, attractiveness, bewilderment, creativity, domination, strength, power or determination” [s.20]. Even though the publication is not easy to read and requires an attentive and careful reader, it is a great contribution to the discussion on the essence and directions of global education development, especially in its axionormative character. It is recommended not only for researchers but also non-academics who are committed to the idea of the world continuously improving but also learning from its own mistakes.

Teachers are not innovated in developing media, therefore students’ interaction in online learning was not optimal. This issue raised a new problem such as, lack of deepening character values for students. The media developed was an E-Book containing character values. Therefore, this research aims to describe the design process of E-Book product with character values and find out the results of E-Book validation according to the results of expert reviews, individual try-outs, and small group try-outs. The type of this research was a development research by applying ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Then, data collection method which used was questionnaire and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of data analysis were gained based on media validation assessed by content learning experts obtained a score of 91,67% with very good qualifications, instructional design expert obtained a score of 100% with very good qualifications, learning media expert obtained a score of 95,00% with very good qualifications. The results of individual user test on 3 students obtained a score of 95,83% with very good qualifications, and the user test through small group test on 12 student obtained a score of 97,50% with very good qualifications. Based on the results of the product test data analysis by experts (content learning expert, instructional design expert, learning media expert) and user subject test results (students), it can be concluded that E-Book media containing character values were suitable to be used in PPKn learning subject for 5th grade elementary school students. The implication of using E-Book as technology-based learning media supported by existing facilities and infrastructure in schools such as internet access (WiFi), computers / laptops, LCDs, projectors, as well as the readiness and skills of teachers and students in accessing E-Book media.

Steroidal and adamantane aminoacridine derivatives were prepared and tested as both botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT) inhibitors and antimalarials. Steroid-bound acridines provided good potency against both the BoNT/A and BoNT/B light chains (LCs). The observed inhibition of the BoNT/B LC by ca. 50% is the highest attained inhibitory activity against this serotype by acridine-based compounds to date. With respect to antimalarial activity, adamantane acridines were the most potent derivatives (IC50 = 6-9 nM, SI > 326), indicating that an adamantyl group is a better carries than a steroidal motif for this indication.

The lack of interactive teaching materials used to support Balinese language learning activities causes students to lack understanding of the material and be less interested in learning the Balinese language. This study aims to create teaching materials in the form of a contextual-based e-book suitable for fourth-grade elementary school students. This study uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of 5 stages, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The types of data collected in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. The subjects in this study were one subject matter expert, one learning design expert, one learning media expert, and 12 elementary school fourth-grade students. The method of data collection uses the questionnaire method. The teaching material in the form of this e-book is declared eligible by obtaining the percentage results from the subject matter expert test with very good qualifications (95%), the learning design expert test with very good qualifications (91.7%), the learning media expert test with very good qualifications (90 %), individual trials with good qualifications (85%), and small group trials with good qualifications (88.8%). It can be concluded that the contextual-based e-book on the local content of writing Balinese script for the fourth grade is declared feasible to be used in the Balinese language learning process.

We investigated how SES, grade level, and book reading experiences are related to children's writing self-efficacy as well as to their knowledge of “good writing” and “writing difficulties.” The sample included 199 middle- high (HSES) and low (LSES) SES children (63 second graders, 67 fourth graders, and 69 sixth graders). Gender and SES (low and high) were approximately equally represented. Children were recruited from two elementary schools, one in a low SES neighborhood and the other in a middle-high SES neighborhood. Writing knowledge was elicited by two open-ended questions and self-efficacy by a 10-item questionnaire. Children's book reading experiences were measured using the Title Recognition Test (TRT). Results showed that, across both SES groups, children's grade level was the most important predictor of their knowledge of “good writing” and “writing difficulties” and also of their writing self-efficacy, followed by the children's book reading experiences. HSES school children gained more writing knowledge as a function of grade level than did the LSES school children. An important and surprising finding was that children's knowledge of “good writing” and “writing difficulties” was explained by their book reading experiences only in the LSES group and not in the HSES group. The implications of these findings for theory and practice are discussed.

Mihail Strelbitchi, bookbinder, refined engraver, and master printer, dominates the Moldovan typographic art from the 18th century. Among those several dozen works to which he contributed throughout his life, either as an engraver or as a printer, some are printed outside the borders of Moldova, respectively in Dubasari and Movilau. Book of Hours (Ceaslov) printed in Dubasari in 1794, where Strelbitchi settled his printing house for a short time, is a book in which he spreads countless elements of his graphic art: ornate letters, frontispieces, vignettes, and engravings bearing his signature. The Diocesan Museum in Husi has in its rich old book inventory two copies of Book of Hours (Ceaslov) printed at Dubasari. They are in a relatively good state of preservation, being kept almost entirely. No volume contains, however, the title page. The book is printed in Romanian, with Cyrillic characters. Both volumes are bound in brown leather, wooden boards, and metal locks, the leather being damaged The volumes lack support marks, having traces of a xylophagous attack. Some sheets are detached from the spine, which led to their embrittlement. All these degradations but also the value of the books themselves impose the need to restore these values of the Romanian typographic art.

Background: The real-life relevance of frequently applied clinical arm tests is not well known in multiple sclerosis (MS). Objective: This study aimed to determine the relation between real-life arm performance and clinical tests in MS. Methods: Thirty wheelchair-bound MS patients and 30 healthy controls were included. Actual and perceived real-life arm performance was measured by using accelerometry and a self-reported measure (Motor Activity Log). Clinical tests on ‘body functions & structures’ (JAMAR handgrip strength, Motricity Index (MI), Fugl Meyer (FM)) and ‘activity’ level (Nine Hole Peg Test (NHPT), Action Research Arm test) of the International Classification of Functioning were conducted. Statistical analyses were performed separately for current dominant and non-dominant arm. Results: For all outcome measures, MS patients scored with both arms significantly lower than the control group. Higher correlations between actual arm performance and clinical tests were found for the non-dominant arm (0.63–0.80). The FM (55%) was a good predictor of actual arm performance, while the MI (46%) and NHPT (55%) were good predictors of perceived arm performance. Conclusions: Real-life arm performance is decreased in wheelchair-bound MS patients and can be best predicted by measures on ‘body functions & structures’ level and fine motor control. Hand dominance influenced the magnitude of relationships.

This type of research and development aims to identify the need for digital math books, design digital math books, and measure the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of digital math books. The digital book development process refers to the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research was conducted at SMPN 5 Watansoppeng with the whole research subject to see the effectiveness of digital math books, 2 experts to get the validity of the digital math books developed, learning achievement tests in large group trials to see the effectiveness of digital books, and teacher response questionnaires to see the practicality of digital books. The results of the study show that the validation of material experts is in a good category and that media experts are in a very good category so that digital math books can be used in the learning process. The results of individual and small group trials by distributing questionnaires to each student's responses were in a good category, while in the large group trials by giving pretests and posttests, scores were in a significant category so that scores were obtained in the effective category. Then an analysis of the level of practicality was carried out by giving the value of the teacher's response to the mathematics subject teacher in the very good category so that a value was obtained in the practical category.

In this study, the effects of the organic and inorganic form of selenium, in the diet for finishing beef cattle, were investigated. Sell-Plex produced by American firm Alltech as a source of organic selenium with selenium concentration of 2000 mg/kg was used. The source of inorganic selenium was sodium selenite. The trial was conducted on Simmental fattening cattle in the final stage in the free housing system and it lasted 60 days. Selenium content in control and trial group (m. longissimus dorsi) was 78.65 and 125.03 ?g/kg (P<0.01), in kidneys 855.52 and 1026.04 ?g/kg(P <0.001); in liver 453.13 and 534.64 ?g/ kg(P<0.01) and in spleen 308.44 and 383.62 ?g/kg (P<0.001), respectively. There were no differences in main carcass characteristics, share of some tissues in the round and three rib chops, chemical composition and meat quality of m. longissimus dorsi (P>0.05).Considering the higher storage of organic selenium in meat and internal organs of the fattening cattle with respect to the inorganic form, it was concluded that the selenium supply in organic form has a better bioavailability. Inclusion of organic selenium into the diet in the final stage of fattening cattle and its deposition in meat and internal organs is a good and easy way to get meat with functional foods properties that in addition to nutritional value should positively affect human health.

Supermolecular CCSD(T) ab initio calculations of potential energy curves for the electronic ground states of heteronuclear van der Waals complexes formed from the atoms of IIB group are presented. The physical origin of stability of the studied structures was analyzed by the symmetry-adapted perturbation theory. The magnitude of dispersion term increases with the increase of diatomic mass, but the relative importance of dispersion vs Hartree- Fock induction energies decreases in the order CdZn > HgZn > HgCd. Theoretical calculations of the temperature dependence of the shear viscosity for low-density binary mixtures are in good agreement with the temperature dependences of the shear viscosity obtained from empirical formula.

In an organization, good administration is needed. Administration assists organizations in planning and development. This community service activity was carried out at the “Ruminan Jaya Makmur” Livestock Group, Semen Village. The activity aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of all group members about administration, increase awareness to apply a culture of orderly administration, as well as compiling record books for the benefit of livestock group administration. Implementation of integrated activities for 1 month. Activities are packaged in the form of assistance, beginning with socialization of a culture of orderly administration and assistance in the preparation of books, records of livestock group activities. The implementation of the activity went smoothly and can be said to be successful. The achievement of the implementation of the activity was shown in the level of attendance of the participants and the high enthusiasm of all participants who attended and took part in the socialization activities. Assistance in the preparation of books, notes on group activities, manifested in the compilation of books and administrative records of the “Ruminan Jaya Makmur” Livestock Group, including the Guest Book, Member and Management List Book, Meeting Attendance List and Meeting Minutes, Member Dues Book, and Cash Book.

Abstract This is the first study to investigate the efficacy of intravenous iron in treating fatigue in nonanemic patients with low serum ferritin concentration. In a randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study, 90 premenopausal women presenting with fatigue, serum ferritin ≤ 50 ng/mL, and hemoglobin ≥ 120 g/L were randomized to receive either 800 mg of intravenous iron (III)–hydroxide sucrose or intravenous placebo. Fatigue and serum iron status were assessed at baseline and after 6 and 12 weeks. Median fatigue at baseline was 4.5 (on a 0-10 scale). Fatigue decreased during the initial 6 weeks by 1.1 in the iron group compared with 0.7 in the placebo group (P = .07). Efficacy of iron was bound to depleted iron stores: In patients with baseline serum ferritin ≤ 15 ng/mL, fatigue decreased by 1.8 in the iron group compared with 0.4 in the placebo group (P = .005), and 82% of iron-treated compared with 47% of placebo-treated patients reported improved fatigue (P = .03). Drug-associated adverse events were observed in 21% of iron-treated patients and in 7% of placebo-treated patients (P = .05); none of these events was serious. Intravenous administration of iron improved fatigue in iron-deficient, nonanemic women with a good safety and tolerability profile. The efficacy of intravenous iron was bound to a serum ferritin concentration ≤ 15 ng/mL. Henry Fox Talbot, the father of photography, was a polymath, and among his many publications we find works on mathematics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, archeology, ancient history, mythology, and Assyrian cuneiform inscriptions. He was also at home in botany. In 1847 he brought out a thick book titled English Etymologies. His archive at Cambridge allows one to trace the preparatory stages for this work. Talbot’s book is instructive as an example of how some talented, brilliantly educated, and industrious Englishmen in the forties of the nineteenth century went about discovering the origin of Hebrew, Greek, Latin, and English words. Talbot was aware of sound correspondences but did not feel bound by them. A list of his sources gives a good idea of the state of the art in England. Talbot’s etymologies are interesting only from this point of view. They should be studied as we study the efforts of much earlier researchers, that is, as part of the history of science.

This development research aims to create product in the form of pop up story books. This book is a learning medium that is used for storytelling activities in a Play Group named Bougenville. This development research was carried out by following the Baker & Schutz development model, which consist of 1) Formulation, 2) Instructional Specification, 3) Item Tryout, 4) Product Development, 5) Product Tryout, 6) Product Revision, and 7) Operation Analysis. The product evaluation is done through Expert Review and Field Test. The expert review phase involves 1 subject matter expert and 1 media expert. The average score obtained from experts review is 3.7 which considered as very good. For field test, the pop up story book has tested on 15 students, The average score obtained at this phase is 88% which considered as good. So, it can be concluded, this development research has created an Animal Theme Pop Up Book which used for storytelling activities in Bougenville Play Group.

Fistula in Ano is a chronic abnormal communication lined by granulation tissue which runs outwards from ano-rectal lumen to an external opening on perianal skin. In Ayurvedic classics, it was mentioned as Bhagandara, meaning ‘Darana’ around Bhaga, Guda and Basthi pradesha. Nowadays, everyone is bound by a busy and stressful schedule that leads to disruption of lifestyle, which harms the quality of life. Due to a lack of exercise and a sedentary life, most people suffer from various lifestyle diseases. The most common among them is ano-rectal diseases due to erect posture and habitat. Anorectal disorders are slowly progressing because of regular intake of junk food, low fibre diet and different lifestyle habits. Arshas (Piles), Bhagandara (Fistula in Ano) and Parikartika (Fissure in Ano) are the most common diseases among anorectal diseases. Among them, Bhaganda-ra is considered under Ashtamahagada (eight major diseases) by Acharya Sushruta due to its callous and chron-ic attitude. In Ayurveda, Ksharasutra ligation is the most effective treatment of Bhagandara; apart from that Acharyas also mentioned the concept of Pathya (wholesome foods and activities) and Apathya (unwholesome foods and activities) as a part of the treatment of this disease. Patients must have a diet that will keep their dhatus in good condition and not allow them to get vitiated. So, one should follow a healthy diet (Pathya) and lifestyle habits (vihara). Therefore, the retrospective cross-sectional observational study is reliable in finding the association between Fistula in Ano and dietary and lifestyle habits. Hence, looking forward to better manage-ment with harmony of food and lifestyle of a patient can prevent the incidence of Bhagandara without causing much effort to physician and inconvenience to patient. The study's objective was to find the prevalence of everyday dietary and lifestyle habits with Bhagandara, create awareness of the necessity to adopt healthy nutritional and lifestyle habits, and break the chain of causation of Bhagandara. Also, I want to find out whether dietary and lifestyle habits have any significant role in the causa-tion of the disease bhagandara. A detailed literature review was compiled from relevant modern medical books. Ayurvedic literature and the Internet on the disease, management, Nidanas, Pathyas and Apathyas. A retrospective cross-sectional observational study with 69 participants of the age group 18-80 years who had fistula in Ano from O.P, Department of Salyatantra, satisfying inclusion and exclusion criteria was carried out. The participants were selected based on a purposive sampling technique. Then they were provided with the questionnaire, which was framed incorporating common Ahara and Vihara, which have been mentioned under Nidana of Bhagandara. Selected subjects having Bhagandara were provided with the questionnaire, and data was collected on the basis of a retrospective cross-sectional observational study. The result was analysed based on the responses to questions framed based on Nidanas, Pathya Aahara, and Vi-hara. Since the data evaluated was based on the interpretation of the connection between two categorical varia-bles, such as the cause and the disease, the Chi-square test is an ideal choice for aiding in understanding and used to compare observed and expected results according to an assumed hypothesis. The present study noticed a significant relation of Bhagandara with Nidanas and Pathya Aahara Viharas. Dietary and lifestyle habits both have important roles in the causation of disease. Each subject in the whole sample fol-lowed more than half of the lifestyle regimens incorporated in the study compared to dietary regimens. Overall, both dietary and lifestyle habits have a significant role in the causation of Bhagandara, with a slight predominance of lifestyle regimen over dietary regimen in Bhagandara noted. Considering all observations, sta-tistical analysis was done, and conclusions were drawn. The study results assessed statistically reveals that the dietary and lifestyle habits already mentioned in Ayurvedic classics have a significant role in causation of the disease Bhagandara.

In development research carried out by researchers, there are objectives developed, namely developing full volleyball and heading training model products. The Borg and Gall development procedure is a procedure used by researchers in research, namely research, planning, book product development, small group trials, first revision, large group trial, second product revision. In collecting data using a questionnaire of learning experts, football game experts and players for small group trials and large group trials where this research was carried out at SSB (Football School) Unibraw 82 Malang. Research that produces a variety of exercise books must go through validation from experts who are competent in their fields, experiment books both in small numbers and in large numbers. All stages are passed by researchers to produce new products. Development of training model book products to kick the hull ball and head the ball in speed-based football and coordination based on learning experts, soccer game experts and small group trials and large group trials are good with good criteria so that these training models can be used as learning media or coaching by students or coaches.

When I taught reading, I frequently used literature circles to help students structure their group discussions. This reading strategy involves assigning a different role to each student in a small group as he or she reads a section of the same book. Some of the roles include Illustrator, Discussion Director, Summarizer, and Travel Tracer. This strategy allowed each student to focus on a different aspect, such as vocabulary or connections, as he or she read an assigned section in a book. When the students finished their section in the book, they would meet as a group and put all the pieces together in their discussions. The intent of literature circles is “to allow students to practice and develop the skills and strategies of good readers” (DaLie 2001, p. 96). Literature circles are flexible and adaptable; what transpires during a group meeting depends on the book, the roles, and the students' interactions with the materials and with one another.

In my book What Money Can't Buy: The Moral Limits of Markets (2012), I try to show that market values and market reasoning increasingly reach into spheres of life previously governed by nonmarket norms. I argue that this tendency is troubling; putting a price on every human activity erodes certain moral and civic goods worth caring about. We therefore need a public debate about where markets serve the public good and where they don't belong. In this article, I would like to develop a related theme: When it comes to deciding whether this or that good should be allocated by the market or by nonmarket principles, economics is a poor guide. Deciding which social practices should be governed by market mechanisms requires a form of economic reasoning that is bound up with moral reasoning. But mainstream economic thinking currently asserts its independence from the contested terrain of moral and political philosophy. If economics is to help us decide where markets serve the public good and where they don't belong, it should relinquish the claim to be a value-neutral science and reconnect with its origins in moral and political philosophy.

This research was aimed to develop and evaluate the quality of interactive book with music activities to promote community-based learning for undergraduate students and to examine the needs, the learning achievement and the satisfaction of the sampling group. In this study, the sampling group consisted of 30 fourth-year students from the Department of Educational Communications and Technology, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in the first semester of the academic year 2019. They were purposively chosen out of those who participated in at least one activity per semester and enrolled in the ETM 361 Presentation Skills 2 course and were willing to participate in this research. The statistical methods in this study were mean score, standard deviation and t-test. The developed interactive book contained 6 parts as follows: 1) community-based learning; 2) community under the bridge zone 1; 3) community behind Suan Thonburirom; 4) community Moo 3 Bangmod; 5) community in Klong Toei; 6) community in Bang Chan, Petchaburi. The research findings showed that the sampling group expressed the highest level of needs (x̅ = 4.55, S.D. = 0.57). The quality of the book as evaluated by the panel of experts showed that the quality of the contents was at a very good level (x̅ = 4.74, S.D. = 0.32) and the quality of the media presentation was at a good level (x̅ = 4.50, S.D. = 0.51). The learning achievement test of the sampling group showed that their average post-test score was higher than their average pre-test score with statistical significance at the .05 level (t-test = 10.94). The sampling group expressed the highest level of satisfaction (x̅ = 4.72, S.D. = 0.46). These findings confirmed the research hypotheses. It can be concluded that the interactive book with music and activities to promote community-based learning for undergraduate students was of good quality and could be distributed for further use.
