Types of deviant (deviant) behavior are presented. It is revealed that the socially negative nature of deviations is destructive both for the individual and for the environment, but it is this type of deviant behavior that arouses the greatest interest of researchers and is more often considered in the scientific literature. The definition of the concept of "deviation" is given. It is noted that the main factors that predetermine deviations in human behavior are the level of social consciousness, morality, consolidation of the system of social regulations in society. In the course of the study of theoretical material it was found that a number of scientists characterize a norm as "a historically established in a particular society limit", "a measure of acceptable behavior", some properties originally inherent in most people, a standard of behavior, these are norm-ideals, as the level of interiorization of norms in different social environments has significant differences, and norm-ideals (system of basic values) are globalized, they are difficult to apply to specific social objects. It is proposed to consider the norm in three different meanings: statistical, functional (individual) and ideal; in laws, traditions, customs the social norm finds its embodiment (support), that is, in everything that has become a habit, firmly embedded in everyday life, in the way of life of the majority population, supported by public opinion, plays the role of a "natural regulator" of social and interpersonal relations. It has been revealed that some scholars are inclined to see moral norms as a kind of "instructions" that "ensure the correct operation of the human machine".

Bitcoin is an online communication system that facilitates the use of virtual currency, including electronic payments. This paper aims at analyzing the behavior of Bitcoin returns as a proposal for future currencies while making a comparison between Bitcoin and other conventional currencies. This paper uses quantitative approach to analyze the time series of Bitcoin and that of other conventional currencies during the period 2010–2018. It uses 1) a descriptive statistics for the weekly returns for Bitcoin which includes the mean, standard deviation, maximum value, minimum value, skewness, kurtosis, and Jarque-Bera normal distribution test statistics, and 2) duration dependence test on Bitcoin weekly returns by extracting the weekly returns for the Bitcoin that behave in irregular way of the general Bitcoin return level through autocorrelation regression, and taking the residuals for this regression as a time series for irregular returns. This paper has confirmed no empirical evidence for the existence of a speculative bubble in the Bitcoin values and returns. In addressing the question of whether Bitcoin can act as a reliable substitute for conventional currencies, the returns based analysis shows a huge difference between the behavior of Bitcoin returns from conventional currency returns when comparing both aspects of level and stability. The paper concluded that bitcoin is more an investment than a currency. This paper represents a significant contribution in the path of financial economics and financial risk management, and represents a contribution to the stability of the financial system around the world and mitigating financial crises.

A comprehensive understanding of bird behaviour is essential for developing and enhancing avian life-history theory content and organizing efficient management and conservation plans. The knowledge of the crucial nesting characteristics and the tactics used by birds throughout their life histories often fluctuate between environments. Despite being seen in small groups, the black-winged stilt has an intriguing social behaviour that demonstrates flexibility. These birds are sociable and will often gather in large groups. But during the breeding season, in particular, their social dynamics shift. They break off from their usual groupings now and either form pairs or congregate in bigger groups. During this time, they display specific behavior with other bird species found in their habitat, especially with those species with which they share their feeding and nesting sites. Their various behaviors can be understood on the basis of continuous study of their vocalization, flapping of wings and body posture. In this context, the communal behavior of Black-winged Stilt has been studied at the wetlands Alniya and Abheda ponds located in Kota.

The main aim of the research was to diagnose drivers' behavior in urban road traffic. It was preceded by careful observation and testing of drivers' behavior in terms of the violations assumed to be observed. It was taken into account, inter alia, aspects such as failure to comply with road signs and signals, behavior at the rail-road crossing, or offenses occurring in the pedestrian-driver relationship. During the observations, the assumption was to capture negative behaviors of drivers, but each time attention was also paid to positive behaviors related to road culture. The analysis of the results allowed the researchers to identify the most common mistakes made by drivers. This can help not only to better enforce regulations at selected measurement sites but also lead to improved education about these specific violations.

Following the outbreak of COVID-19, the World Health Organization recommended prevention measures to minimize the spread of the pandemic. However, strict compliance with prevention measures requires positive health behavior practices, especially among adults. Therefore, this study investigated adults’ health behaviors in relation to pandemic prevention based on the health belief model (HBM) and the theory of planned behavior (TPB). This study used a structural model, applying the HBM and the TPB to explain and predict pandemic prevention behaviors in adults. The data obtained were statistically analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0. The results revealed that, in total, 341 adults (age: 20–64 years; males: 167, females: 174; single: 167; married: 164; divorced: 8) participated in this study. Of the 341 participants, 339 had use of the internet and a smartphone. Furthermore, the results revealed that attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control in relation to pandemic prevention behaviors directly affected people’s intentions to adopt pandemic prevention behaviors. Perceived severity and perceived disability had significant indirect effects on the intention to prevent pandemics; pandemic prevention behavior and perceived behavioral control had a significant effect on pandemic prevention intention. The pandemic prevention education programs suggested in this study have the potential to improve adults’ health behavior in relation to pandemic prevention.

Risky behaviors increase the likelihood of premature death, long-term disability, and poor mental health outcomes. Most current measures of risky behavior only assess behaviors within a single domain, fail to evaluate affective triggers for engaging in these behaviors, do not index the consequences of these behaviors, and are often limited to a narrow developmental period. The present study developed and evaluated a new 38-item questionnaire-based measure, the Risky, Impulsive, and Self-Destructive Behavior Questionnaire (RISQ), designed to address each of these limitations by expanding the breadth and depth of previous questionnaires. A bifactor model with a general factor and eight domain-specific factors (measuring drug use, aggression, self-harm, gambling, risky sexual behavior, impulsive eating, heavy alcohol use, and reckless behavior) best fit the RISQ, and indicators of internal consistency, as well as, construct validity were strong. Results provide initial validation for the RISQ as a broad, yet relatively brief, measure that quantifies and qualifies risky behaviors by assessing the severity, chronicity, and triggers for a range of harmful behaviors.

Approaches to understanding voting behaviour played an important role in the field of electoral geography. Studies based on voting behavior normally rely on information gleaned from primary and secondary sources of data. Aggregate or composite election data for states or constituencies is convenient for examining election results, such as differences in votes between states. Different perspectives or approaches played an important role in examining the factors influencing the way people vote. This type of information usually consists of data related to voter's behavior and their specific socio-economic characteristics etc. Electoral geography involves collecting and analysing data through various techniques and approaches. The data analysis study in electoral geography usually focuses on ascertaining spatial patterns of party performance and voters' behaviour. It is thus clear that electoral geography has a special place for approaches that are useful for spatial analysis. The primary aim of this study is to explain various types of methods and approaches used in electoral geography for the analysis of voting behaviour. This study provides researchers, geographers, political and social scientists with a better understanding of the skills to analyse election data.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of positive behavioral support on the behaviour of children with at risk for disability. One at risk child with disability belonging to the public kindergarten was selected for the study & a functional assessment was conducted using the method of interview, direct observation, hypothesis setting, & verification to understand the function of the child's distracting behaviors and interference behavior. Based on the results, multiple elements including background & prior event mediation, replacement technical professor intervention, & subsequent outcome arbitration were conducted. In this study, multiple baseline across conditions design was used between situations, & measurements were taken using partial interval recording for 10 minutes each session. Basic lines & intervention were conducted in three situations, including story-sharing activity, free play activity, & lunch-time, focusing on kindergarten classrooms where activities of the children were conducted. In order to investigate the maintenance effect of the behavioral change after one week after the intervention, maintenance observation was performed in the same experimental environment as the baseline, and treatment fidelity and social validity were measured. The results of this study were derived as follows. First, the distracting behaviors of target child were effectively reduced through positive behavior support based on functional evaluation. Second, positive behavioral support based on functional assessment effectively reduced the interfering behavior of the target child. Third, even after ending positive behavioral support interventions, the effects of changes in the attention-based behaviour & interference behavior of the target child were maintained. As above, positive behavioral support has had a positive effect on the reduction of distracting behavior & disruptive behavior for at risk child. This result suggests that positive behavior support is effective in reducing the problem behaviors of young children with disabilities. The study was meaningful in that positive behavior support reduced the incidence of problem behavior in target child proved positive behavior support to be a useful strategy for managing behaviour for young children with disabilities in early childhood special education setting.

In Indonesia now, media, both printed and television pays attention to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) more than even before. However, the reality of business life is quite different from the image presented in the media. This study tries to describe unethical behaviour of firms in Indonesia that documented in printed media and classify them to be measured qualitatively. News of CSR issued from January 2005 to December 2007 was gathered and analyzed using qualitative content analysis method with negative or deviant case analysis. Negative case analysis is an analysis to see something of the opposite. It used because of ethical relativism (ethical beliefs differ from one society to another society, even among people with one another). The results show that there are some unethical behaviors of firms. Purpose – Mobile users increasingly employ location-based map searches in their daily lives. However, it is still relatively unknown about mobile users’ map related search behaviors. The purpose of this paper is to discover the interactions between the users and mobile map search systems, to reveal the shortcomings of existing mobile map search functions, and to propose improvement suggestions. Design/methodology/approach – Based on a set of controlled user experiments performed on the Baidu mobile phone map, this paper empirically examines users’ location-based mobile search behaviors, such as timing, metering, judging and so on. This paper also conducts statistical correlation tests to generate relation tables and diagrams regarding each variable, for example, the relation between the retrieval time and the retrieval steps. Findings – The results indicate that mobile map users have two important characteristics in their search behaviors: first, mobile map users always follow the single search path. Second, the mobile map search efficiency of users is always low. Research limitations/implications – The situation simulation testing method is mainly used for the construction of a mobile information search behavior environment, which may make the users be nervous and have some effect on the search efficiency. Practical implications – Based on the identification of user behaviors, this paper provides suggestions to optimize and improve mobile map search systems. Originality/value – This paper studies users’ mobile map search behavior based on location and explores the features of user behavior from the perspective of human-computer interaction.

Bi-linear constitutive model is commonly used to study the bond-slip behaviors of the interface between FRP and concrete, unloading behavior is one of the most important problems that should be considered. The path of unloading is debatable, no specialized research achievement has been found so far. Based on simple shear test, the model with secant unloading is employed to study the unloading behavior of the interface between FRP and concrete in this paper, then governing equation about this behavior during the bond-slip process of the interface is derived. A closed form analytical solution about the slip and shear stress distribution of the whole interface, as well as the load-displacement response are obtained, which are also compared with that of elastic unloading , the main difference between them are given. Results obtained in this paper are helpful to further study on more complicated problems (such as the bond-slip behavior of the interface caused by two adjacent flexural cracks, as well as intermediate shearing crack).

Understanding pedestrian behavior and road safety culture is essential for improving traffic safety in developing countries. The primary aim of this study was to investigate the validity for applying the Pedestrian Behavior Scale (PBS) in Egypt to explore the pedestrian behaviors in developing countries and to investigate the relationship of these behaviors across demographic variables. A Pedestrian Behavior Questionnaire (PBQ) was conducted in Egypt containing behavioral items and demographic questions with a total of 567 participants. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was applied to assess the number of behavioral factors that express the pedestrian behaviors. The analysis showed that the Egyptian pedestrian behaviors consist of four factors, including transgressions (violations and errors), lapses, aggressive behaviors, and positive behaviors. T-test and ANOVA were conducted to explore the significant difference across gender, age groups and education level. Furthermore, linear regression analysis was conducted to investigate how the examined variables influence the behavioral factors. The current study showed that the Pedestrian Behavior Scale (PBS) is an effective tool for investigating Egyptian pedestrian’s behaviors. This study added a validation for applying the PBS to explore the pedestrian behaviors in developing countries such as Egypt and to understand the variables affecting the pedestrian behaviors. The findings can be used by infrastructure agencies to enhance educational road safety programs and enact appropriate laws, which could reduce the number of pedestrian-related crashes.

This study explores the university students’ awareness of the Circular Economy (CE) through the identification of knowledge, attitudes and behaviors (KAB). A quantitative method is applied by adopting the SDG survey questionnaire of Cifuentes-Faura that was developed using the 5Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Refurbish, Repair and Recycle) of the CE concept to measure the students’ KAB towards CE. A total of 110 students studying economics-related courses from two Indonesian universities participated in the survey and the statistical program SPSS 20.0 was used for data analysis. The study found that the students’ awareness of the circular economy is higher in terms of knowledge (85.5%) than attitude (55.5%) and behavior (68.2%). In a way, the results of attitude and behavior show that students tend to buy new things instead of reusing/renting or repairing them. The female students' knowledge of CE is higher than male students, whereas their attitude and behaviour show similar results. Additionally, there is a correlation between knowledge and attitude, attitude and behavior, and knowledge and behavior, which means that the variables influence each other.

Background:Chronic stress and/or lifetime traumatic stress can create a self-reinforcing cycle of unhealthy behaviors, such as overeating and sedentary behavior, that can lead to further increases in stress. This study examined the relationship between stress and sedentary behavior in a sample of Hispanic/Latino adults (N = 4244) from the Hispanic Community Health Study/Study of Latinos Sociocultural Ancillary Study. Methods:Stress was measured as the number of ongoing difficulties lasting 6 months or more and as lifetime exposure to traumatic events. Sedentary behavior was measured by self-report and with accelerometer. Multivariable regression models examined associations of stress measures with time spent in sedentary behaviors adjusting by potential confounders. Results:Those who reported more than one chronic stressor spent, on average, 8 to 10 additional minutes per day in objectively measured sedentary activities (P < .05), whereas those with more than one lifetime traumatic stressor spent (after we adjusted for confounders) 10 to 14 additional minutes in sedentary activities (P < .01) compared with those who did not report any stressors. Statistical interactions between the 2 stress measures and age or sex were not significant. Conclusion:Interventions aimed at reducing sedentary behaviors might consider incorporating stress reduction into their approaches.

This study aims to identify the relationships between breakfast habits, leisure-time sedentary behavior, and suicidal behaviors among Korean adolescents, including the mediating effect of leisure-time sedentary behavior on the relationship between breakfast habits and suicidal behaviors. We conducted a cross-sectional national study using secondary data from the 2017–2019 (13–15th) Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Surveys, analyzing data from a final sample of 153,992 Korean adolescents using multivariate logistic regression. No breakfast habits were statistically significantly related to suicidal ideation (crude OR [COR], 95% CI = 1.218, 1.172–1.265), suicidal plans (COR, 95% CI = 1.305, 1.228–1.385), and suicide attempts (COR, 95% CI = 1.533, 1.432–1.642). The effects of breakfast habits (independent variable) on suicidal behaviors (outcome variables) were mediated by leisure-time sedentary behavior (mediating variable). Leisure-time sedentary behavior had a statistically significant indirect effect on breakfast habits and suicidal behaviors (p < 0.05). The mediating effect size of breakfast habits mediated by leisure-time sedentary behavior was 3.46% for suicidal ideation, 2.48% for suicidal plans, and 1.06% for suicide attempts. Adolescents who did not consume breakfast demonstrated a significantly higher possibility of suicidal ideation, suicidal plans, and suicide attempts. Parents and teachers should be aware of and monitor adolescents’ leisure-time sedentary behavior and breakfast habits to prevent suicidal behavior among this age group.

Unsaturated soils are often used as a construction material in transportation infrastructures. In this situation, unsaturated soils are subjected to cyclic mechanical loading from traffic loads or wetting-drying cycles in seasonal climatic conditions. While mechanical hysteresis is a common feature of soils in general, hydraulic hysteresis is associated with unsaturated soils. Although several constitutive models for unsaturated soils have been proposed, the mechanical and hydraulic hysteresis behavior of unsaturated soils has been little studied. A modified state surface approach (MSSA) was first proposed for investigating the mechanical behavior of unsaturated soils. It was then extended to study the coupled hydro-mechanical behavior of unsaturated soils with a special focus on the consistency between different soil phases. However, hydraulic and mechanical hysteresis were neglected in MSSA formulations. In this paper, based on evidence from experimental results, the MSSA is extended further to study the coupled hydro-mechanical hysteresis behavior of unsaturated soils. The extended MSSA can reproduce several forms of mechanical and hydraulic behavior observed in experimental results that cannot be represented by existing constitutive models. To demonstrate the capabilities of the extended MSSA, typical behaviors are simulated and compared, qualitatively, with the characteristic trends of the behavior of unsaturated soils. Experimental results from the literature are then used to evaluate the model to predict, quantitatively, the observed behaviors. The agreement between measured and predicted results is considered satisfactory and confirms the possibility of the proposed approach to reproduce the hysteresis behavior of unsaturated soils.

Objectives This study is to explore the types of nonverbal communication behaviors of elementary school teachers based on communication theory. Methods This study was conducted as a philosophical and psychological integrated approach to education that can scientifically support various perspectives on human behavior and human behavior and psychological processes for the study of teachers' nonverbal communication behavioral types. Based on the communication theoretical exploration of Jurgen Habermas and Satir, a literature study was conducted on the types of nonverbal communication behaviors of teachers. Results Looking at many previous studies, the nonverbal communication behaviors of teachers focused on the personal aspect with emphasis on the teacher's personality traits. In this study, the teacher's nonverbal communication behavior was considered not only in the personal aspect of the teacher but also in the social and environmental context through Habermas and Satir's communication theoretical exploration and classification of nonverbal behavioral factors according to previous studies on nonverbal communication behavior. The behavioral patterns that appear according to the necessity of children were divided into two types: body language type and environment language type. As sub-elements, body language type communication behavior types using body organs such as body movements, body sensations, and voices, and environmental language type communication behavior types using physical time and space, artificial symbols, and social systems as sub-elements. classified. Conclusions Conclusion When looking at the types of communication behaviors of teachers in the existing studies in the context of elementary school classrooms, our gaze is focused on the teacher's individual personality traits and the differences between verbal communication behavior and nonverbal communication behavior. There have been many studies that have measured the frequency. In this study, which was conducted to overcome the limitations that were difficult to categorize because the complexity of the nonverbal communication system and the range of its elements are very wide, based on the communication theory of Habermas and Satir, various nonverbal elements appearing in the nonverbal communication behavior of teachers were identified as common. In addition to understanding the characteristics of an individual teacher with a body, the teacher's communication behavior type is an integrated perspective of the temporal and spatial environment of school, classroom, class, and situation, which are the real life contexts in which the individual is involved. will have to be understood as.

Since the establishment of the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in the 1990s, China's capital market has emerged. Over the years, the domestic capital market has achieved certain results, but negative phenomena have gradually emerged, and the problem of tunneling is one of the representative issues. A concentrated ownership structure is prone to breed tunneling behavior, which results in a decrease in company value, damage to the interests of minority shareholders, and a reduction in market efficiency. This paper, through the study of relevant literature, summarized the behaviors of controlling shareholders' asset-stripping companies that harmed people's interests, listed different methods used by controlling shareholders for asset stripping, explored the causes of controlling shareholders' asset-stripping behavior, and examined the consequences of controlling shareholders' asset stripping methods.
