The 95 th JPEG meeting was held online from 25 to 29 April 2022. A Call for Proposals (CfP) was issued for JPEG Fake Media that aims at a standardisation framework for secure annotation of modifications in media assets. With this new initiative, JPEG endeavours to provide standardised means for the identification of the provenance of media assets that include imaging information. Assuring the provenance of the coded information is essential considering the current trends and possibilities on multimedia technology.

After the end of the First World War, the most important event in the history of our country was the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic on October 28, 1918. Professor Deyl repeatedly spoke about the need to establish a Czechoslovak Ophthalmological Society. Only his successor, professor. O. Lešer implemented Deyl's idea and, in agreement with the heads of the Bratislava and Brno departments of ophthalmology, convened the opening general meeting of the Czechoslovak Ophthalmological Society on April 3, 1926, in the auditorium of the Czech department of ophthalmology with the participation of 37 ophthalmologists. Not all Czechoslovak ophthalmologists were present at this first meeting of the Czechoslovak Ophthalmological Society; their number can be estimated at about 55 in 1926. Immediately after the founding of the Czechoslovak Ophthalmological Society in 1926, a yearbook of congress works began to be published in the same year, every year until 1932, a total of 7 volumes. By the decision of the General Meeting of the Czechoslovak Ophthalmological Society, held on 15 May 1933, the publication of congress works was built on a new basis. The current form of the collection was abandoned, and the periodical journal Czechoslovak Ophthalmology was founded. In 1954, the Slovak branch of the ophthalmological section of the Czechoslovak Ophthalmological Society was founded, which quickly developed its activities and twice a year organized very successful and scientifically valuable congresses with rich participation and discussion. The name of the organization "Slovak branch of the Ophthalmological Section of the Czechoslovak Medical Society of J. E. Purkyně" was chosen. In 1969, under the Federalization Act, medical societies were reorganized; the Czech and Slovak Ophthalmological Society is established. The Federal Committee has since consisted of the chairs and secretaries of the two National Committees, who took turns in the leadership of the Federal Committee during their term of office. After the division of Czechoslovakia in 1993, the name of the magazine changed. Until 1994 it was published under the name Czechoslovak Ophthalmology and since 1995 the name has been changed to Czech and Slovak Ophthalmology. The first issue was published in February 1995, the continuity of the journal and the numbering has been preserved.

The application of geographic information systems was used to map obesogenic conditions by zip code tabulation areas in Durham County, North Carolina and evaluated associations between those conditions and the understudied area of early childhood obesity. Of the thirty one percent of the children in Durham County, North Carolina who were considered obese in 2010, four hundred and thirty three (1:5) 2 - 4 year old children who received supplemental nutrition services for women, infants and children were obese with BMI levels greater or equal to the 95th percentile and were used as the criterion variable in the study (N=433). The study's research questions examined conditions of the neighborhood that impeded the weight status of young children. The theoretical framework included the environmental stress, socioeconomic, multiple exposures-multiple effects, and attachment theories. The twenty - six variables used in this secondary quantitative study included demographics on socioeconomic and education levels, home occupancy and vacancy rates, age of homes, and neighborhood accessibility features: access to parks; recreation facilities; grocery stores verses convenience stores; fast food restaurants; medical facilities; schools; day cares; and neighborhood incivilities such as numbers of reported crimes. The t - test were configured as Grouping Variables with the cut-point of 18.7% and with an Alpha of .05 and produced statistical significance on five of twenty - six variables. A mean rate of 19.3% yielded statistical significance on ten of twenty - six variables. The Levene's Test for Equality of Variances expressed assumptions on scores met for statistical significance on t-test at the Alpha = 0.05 level for twenty - four of the twenty - six variables. The results of this study would possibly increase the use of the innovative geographic information systems to inform policy decisions, environmental interventions and environmental design on obesogenic correlates between the understudied area of early childhood obesity and the built environment.

The purpose of this study was to explore the adaptation strategies and on-the-job stress of the electrical and electronic department teachers, and to compare the difference among different background teachers. The conclusion is based on the valid 656 samples of questionnaires which were collected from 80 high schools that include electrical and electronic cluster teachers. The total of high schools are 141, approved by the Ministry of Education in 2006, only 80 of which are selected as our random samples. The analysis is SPSS 10.0 software, which executes the analysis of average figures, standard differentiation, t-test, one-way ANOVA. With the tool, we verify our hypothesis. The conclusions of this study as follow: 1.Teachers’ work stress was at middle level but apt to high level. 2.The greatest part of working stress is the advancement guidance and occupation preparation for the students. The others in sequence are the department growing and school specialty, job training equipments, expenditure utilization, 95th year curriculum renovation, teachers’ lecturing and students’ acquisition, professional ability and profession development. 3.When dealing with the stress, most teachers employ problem-solving method. The next ones are emotion adjustment, searching for support, and escaping problems. 4.In background mutations, there is no significant difference among sexes, service years, education degrees, teaching subjects, on-the-job schools, department scales, and the difference between city and country. But there is a huge diversity within the teachers who act as the executives. 5.No major distinctions in the stress adaptation among diverse subject teachers. In terms of the foundings and the conclusion, we hereby provide the relevant suggestions for education superintendents, school executives, teachers, and promising researchers. Designing for human variability frequently necessitates an estimation of the spatial requirements of the intended user population. These measures are often obtained from “proportionality constants” which predict the lengths of relevant anthropometry using stature. This approach is attractive because it is readily adapted to new populations—only knowledge of a single input, stature, is necessary to obtain the estimates. The most commonly used ratios are those presented in Drillis and Contini’s report from 1966 [1]. Despite the prevalence of their use, these particular values are limited because the size and diversity of the population from which these ratios were derived is not in the literature, and the actual body dimensions that each ratio represents are not clear. Furthermore, they are often misinterpreted and used inappropriately. This paper introduces a new approach, the “boundary ratio” which mitigates many of these issues. Boundary ratios improve on the traditional application of proportionality constants by: 1) explicitly defining the body dimensions, 2) defining constants for the 5th, 50th, and 95th percentile measures, and 3) providing distinct constants for males and females when necessary. This approach is shown to better model the range of variability exhibited in population body dimensions.

Andrei Stefanovich Bessonov, a well-known Russian parasitologist, coordinator of scientific research in parasitology in the Russian Federation and the CIS countries, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Laureate of the USSR State Prize, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was born on April 10, 1929, in the Krasnodar Territory. After graduating from the Novocherkassk Zoological Veterinary Institute in 1952, he worked as the Chief Veterinarian of the Syamzhensky District, the Vologda Region, and in 1955 he entered the Ph. D. Program at the All-Union Institute of Helminthology named after K. I. Skryabin (VIGIS). After graduation from the post-graduate studies and defending his Ph. D. thesis in 1959, he worked at the same Institute. From 1982 to 2002, A. S. Bessonov was the director of the VIGIS. The A. S. Bessonov’s works on epizootology, diagnosis and prevention of trichinellosis are very famous among parasitologists. Theoretical principles and practical studies on trichinellosis were reflected in two unique monographs by A. S. Bessonov, Epizootology (Epidemiology) and Prevention of Trichinellosis (1972) and Diagnostics of Trichinellosis (1975). The results of the research by A. S. Bessonov and his students in echinococcosis (Echinococcus granulosus) in animals are well known. In 2003, the monograph Alveolar Echinococcosis and Hydatid Disease (2003) was published. Under his direct influence, the VIGIS actively developed research to create genetically engineered vaccines and new dosage forms of antiparasitic drugs (liposomal, etc.), as well as research in the helminth genome. Together with foreign scientists, A. S. Bessonov participated in creating Guidelines of the FAO, WHO and UNEP on the prevention and control of trichinellosis, echinococcosis and cysticercosis in animals and humans. He was a member of the editorial boards of the following scientific and production journals: Veterinary Medicine, Helminthologia (Slovakia) and Riview in Parasitology (Spain).

Aimed at the drawbacks of traditional method of spot evaluation for tractor cabs, such as low effectiveness and high expense, this paper established a new method of tractor cab design and evaluation, which included formulating ergonomic evaluation process, creating virtual models of tractor cab and operators, building virtual environment of tractor cab man-machine system and conducting ergonomic evaluation. The YTO-1604 wheeled tractor has been taken as the analysis object, the layouts of its seat, accelerator pedal, clutch pedal, brake pedal, gear shift lever, steering wheel and other major parts were optimized. The optimized model was created by UG, then it was imported into JACK, thus the object for analysis was created. To accommodate the Chinese tractor operator population, the 95th, 50th and 5th percentile virtual operator models which respectively stands for the big figure, medium figure and small figure of Chinese adult males for ergonomic evaluation were created in JACK, and the angular comfort range for human body joints were determined. The 50th percentile operator was adjusted to a cozy posture through human control module, with hands holding steering wheel, left foot naturally put on clutch pedal, while right foot flat placed on the floor. The operator was located to the h point of seat in the optimized cab model, thus the man-machine virtual environment was completely built. Then the reach zone of the 5th percentile operator and the visual field of the 95th percentile operator were generated, the 95th percentile operator’s comfort was evaluated and the forces of the 95th percentile operator’s spinal L4/L5 were calculated. The results showed that the gear shift lever, steering wheel and control panel were located in the accessible reach zones, conforming to manipulation requirements. Control panel and windshield (except for part of the side windshield which could be observed by moving head) were contained in the visual field, according with vision design standard. The overall comfort score of the 95th percentile operator’s different body parts was 24.5, which indicated that the operator was in good condition and the design conformed to physiological requirements. The lower back compression force of the 95th percentile operator was 742, representing a nominal risk of lower back injury for operators. Thus, the rationality of cab layout scheme was well verified. This paper provides a method for the ergonomic design and evaluation of tractor cabs.

In 1988, since the revision of the 10 CFR50.46, the best estimate codes may be used in safety demonstration and licensing, provided that uncertainties are added to the relevant output parameters before comparing them with the acceptance criteria. The uncertainty of output parameters is coming principally from the lack of knowledge of the input parameters (initial and boundary conditions of the calculated transient, empirical models of the code, etc.). In the safety analysis of the large break loss of coolant accident (LB-LOCA), for a best-estimate analysis, it was decided that the acceptance criteria should not be exceeded by the 95th percentile estimated with a high degree of confidence. Best-estimate plus uncertainty (BEPU) analysis of the LB-LOCA allows significant margin gains. Therefore the nuclear industry develops and uses widely this type of analysis for power uprating, longer fuel cycles, fuel design etc. It appeared necessary to IRSN, technical support of the French Safety Authority, to get more insight to these strategies. The assessment of the 95th percentile can be made in three steps: 1. The definition and the evaluation of uncertainties of the input parameters. 2. The modelling and understanding of the output parameters. 3. The evaluation of the 95th percentile with a high degree of confidence. This paper presents and shows two new methods of how to deal with the third point. The standard approach is the use of a non-parametric approach called the Wilks’ formula which requires only 59 calculations to get a majorant of the 95th percentile with a 95% degree of confidence. This method was applied in the 90’s when the calculation resources were not sufficient to perform many calculations in a reasonable time. However, at the present time, the growth of computer power and the fall in prices allow to run many more calculations in the same physical time. We propose to use rank statistics or bootstrap to estimate the 95th percentile with a high confidence level, using some hundreds of calculations. This paper presents the results of the LOFT (Loss-of-Fluid Test) loss of coolant experiment L2-5 using these new methodologies. LOFT L2-5 was the subject of the former ISP 13 and the ongoing BEMUSE international problem. The output parameter is the second maximum peak cladding temperature of the fuel. The best estimate code used is CATHARE2 V2.5. Rank statistics and bootstrap improve the information on the estimation of the 95th percentile: a higher degree of confidence, a more precise estimation etc.

Abstract To reduce the computational demand in the Best Estimate Plus Uncertainty analysis, an accurate and inexpensive surrogate model is expected to be used to replace the RELAP5 code for rapid determination of the uncertainties on the figure of merit of interest. One of the problems associated with the application of a surrogate model is overfitting. To ensure confidence in the model prediction, it is crucial to assess the generalized performance of the surrogate model. In this study, a surrogate model was generated from a small sample of a RELAP5 code uncertainty analysis on peak cladding temperature (PCT) for a small break LOCA scenario in PWRs. The surrogate model was constructed using second order polynomial regression combined with the Lasso method and the cross validation technique. The accuracy of uncertainty quantification of PCT by the surrogate model was investigated by comparing its results with the RELAP5 analysis results. Appropriate selection and use of the hyperparameter of the L1 regularization overcame overfitting for the regression model and made the model more generalized for predicting the 95th percentile value of PCT by the RELAP5 analysis results. The cross validation method was used for the training data set to select the hyperparameter with which the Lasso regression achieves higher generalization performance for predicting the cumulative distribution function of PCTs. It was confirmed that using the hyperparameter with which the 95th percentile PCT error was estimated to be the smallest by cross validation, the predicted 95th percentile value of PCT by the Lasso regression agreed well with the 95th percentile value of PCT by the RELAP5 analysis results.

According to current definitions [1], individuals ages 2 to 18 years are determined to be overweight (≥ 85th and < 95th percentile [of prior population distributions]) or obese (≥ 95th percentile) based on U.S. age- and sex-specific body mass index (BMI; kg/m 2) charts updated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2000 [2]. The prevalence of being obese among children has increased over the last several decades and is a major public health concern. A recent survey [3] indicated that 16.3% of children and adolescents aged 2 through 19 years were at or above the 95 th percentile of the BMI-for-age growth charts.

This report presents detailed histograms of data from the Regulated Substances Library (RSL) developed by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). RSL data are provided for state and IDOT region, IDOT district, and county spatial subsets to examine the spatial variability and its relationship to thresholds defining natural background concentrations. The RSL is comprised of surficial soil chemistry data obtained from rights-of-way (ROW) subsurface soil sampling conducted for routine preliminary site investigations. A selection of 22 inorganic soil analytes are examined in this report: Al, Sb, As, Ba, Be, Cd, Ca, Cr, Co, Cu, Fe, Pb, Mg, Mn, Hg, Ni, K, Se, Na, Tl, V, and Zn. RSL database summary statistics, mean, median, minimum, maximum, 5th percentile, and 95th percentile, are determined for Illinois counties and for recognized environmental concern, non-recognized environmental concern, and de minimis site contamination classifications.

The 3.7-million-record RSL database is compared with four independent studies of inorganic soil constituents of naturally occurring soils in Illinois. A selection of 22 inorganic soil analytes are examined in this study: Al, Sb, As, Ba, Be, Cd, Ca, Cr, Co, Cu, Fe, Pb, Mg, Mn, Hg, Ni, K, Se, Na, Tl, V, and Zn. RSL database summary statistics, mean, median, minimum, maximum, 5th percentile, and 95th percentile, are determined for Illinois counties and for recognized environmental concern, non-recognized environmental concern, and de minimis site contamination classifications. The RSL database at a 95% confidence level is compared with current and proposed thresholds for defining naturally occurring soil concentrations for the selected analytes. The revised thresholds proposed by Cahill in 2017 are predominantly larger than the current standards found in the Tiered Approach to Corrective Action Objectives rules and are in better agreement with observed distributions of soil concentrations for both naturally occurring and RSL soils. A notable exception is antimony (Sb), for which Cahill proposed a reduced threshold similar in magnitude to the median for many Illinois Department of Transportation districts.
