General rules
A bibliographic reference to a standard (such as an ISO standard) should include the following elements:
Organisation that developed the standard. Year of publication. Standard Title. Standard code and number. City of publication: Publisher.
For a standard accessed online, give the URL address at the end of the reference. Give the date of access only if the source's year of publication is unknown.
NB: According to Chicago Style – author-date (17th ed.), a bibliographic reference to a standard does not include the date of entry into force, the number of the previous (replaced) standard, or the total number of pages.
