We have updated the citation algorithms for one of our most popular citation styles, namely IEEE Style (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). The style has been updated to its latest edition, V 3.28.2025 (the previous edition being V 10.16.2024), published in March 2025.
The new edition of the style manual corrects the minor errors and omissions of the previous edition, without making changes to the rules of citing. However, we have analysed and compared both versions, so that you could be positive that all your bibliographic references comply with the up-to-date rules of IEEE Style.
