Environmental protection is a fundamental policy in many countries, where the vehicle emission pollution turns to be outstanding as a main component of pollutions in environmental monitoring. Remote sensing technology has been widely used on vehicle emission detection recently and this is mainly due to the fast speed, reality, and large scale of the detection data retrieved from remote sensing methods. In the remote sensing process, the information about the fuel type and registration time of new cars and nonlocal registered vehicles usually cannot be accessed, leading to the failure in assessing vehicle pollution situations directly by analyzing emission pollutants. To handle this problem, this paper adopts data mining methods to analyze the remote sensing data to predict fuel type and registration time. This paper takes full use of decision tree, random forest, AdaBoost, XgBoost, and their fusion models to successfully make precise prediction for these two essential information and further employ them to an essential application: vehicle emission evaluation.

Natural energy resources such as natural gas are important in the development of countries that have reserves. These resources may also important in the reduction of polluting emissions generated by the vehicles of the automotive fleet. In this context, the production of natural gas fuel for vehicles allows the reduction of emissions and, consequently, of the levels of air pollution. The objective of this study is to evaluate natural energy resources and their impact on environmental pollution in the transport sector, the availability of these energy resources, the impact of pollution and the strategies for the reduction of emissions, in the Peruvian context, by reviewing information from various sources. Peru has developed projects for the production of natural gas and initiatives to distribute through a gas pipeline network. The growth of the vehicle fleet has generated high levels of air pollution in the country’s cities. Natural gas vehicle fuel emits almost no heavy particles, and does not generate much PM10, and as many polluting emissions such as CO2, CO, NOx, SO2, HC, generated by other fuels. There are still limitations in emission reduction strategies because the adaptation of vehicles to natural gas has decreased due to the high costs of the service and the perception of not obtaining benefits in its use, in addition to having few establishments that sell natural gas throughout the country.

The main subject of this paper is an analysis of the influence of changes in the air pollution caused by road traffic, due to its modernization, on the air quality in Warsaw conurbation, Poland. Using the Calpuff model, simulations of the yearly averaged concentrations of NOx, CO, PM10, and PM2.5 were performed, together with an assessment of the population exposure to individual pollutions. Source apportionment analysis indicates that traffic is the main source of NOx and CO concentrations in the city atmosphere. Utilizing the Euro norms emission standards, a scenario of vehicle emission abatement is formulated based on the assumed general vehicle fleet modernization and transition to Euro 6 emission standards. Computer simulations show a reduction in NOx concentrations attributed to emission mitigation of passenger cars, trucks and vans, and public transport buses, respectively. On the other hand, improving air quality in terms of CO concentrations depends almost exclusively on gasoline vehicle modernization. The implementation of the considered scenario causes an adequate reduction in the population exposure and related health effects. In particular, implementation of the scenario discussed results in a 47% reduction (compared with the baseline value) in the attributable yearly deaths related to NOx pollution. In spite of a substantial contribution of vehicle traffic to the overall PM pollution, modernization of the fuel combustion causes only minor final effects because the dominant share of PM pollution in Warsaw originates from the municipal sector and the transboundary inflow.

The development and improvement of monitoring techniques to measure the concentration of pollutants in the atmosphere are a starting point to guarantee high levels of human health and environmental safety. The combination of lidar and dial techniques, by measuring backscattering signals and reconstructing the map of their concentrations, can be used to provide detailed information about the presence of aerosols, particulate and pollutions. Moreover, by using a multiwavelength approach, it is possible to increase the measurement accuracy and reliability. In this work, the dial approach is used to monitor the pollution in a very congested urban area with high traffic. In order to provide a validation of the results, correlation analyses between the measured pollutants was performed. A new lidar analysis method, based on the least-square minimization technique, was introduced and demonstrated to work properly. The dial capability to detect polluted areas was shown—and by correlation analysis—also the possibility to identify the source of pollutions can be performed.

Nowadays, the effects of pollution at a global scale are mainly due to the emissions of greenhouse gases (CO2 in particular), especially generated by thermoelectrical plants, as well as the transport, industrial, and civil sectors. Moreover, local pollution effects are generated by several pollutants, such as CO, NOx, SOx, VOC, and PM, produced during combustion in transports or building thermal plants. Because of the increasing demand for mobility at an urban scale, pollution caused by transportation plays a significant role. To reduce its environmental impact, a partial or total replacement of old and polluting vehicles with more ecological ones must be urgently implemented. With this aim, in the paper, a detailed analysis of the vehicle fleet of the city of Reggio Calabria (Italy), with reference to passenger cars has been carried out, elaborating four scenarios to reduce their pollutant emissions from 2017 to 2025, both greenhouse gases and local scale ones, through the replacement of old and polluting vehicles with hybrid or electric ones.

Environmental pollution has a great impact on human health, ecosystems, and financial development. This paper depicts the recent studies on the severity of environmental pollution in developing countries. Its remedial measures were based on a questionnaire survey in the polluted sites, which collected data and information on the types, causes, effects, sources, and duration of environmental pollution, obtained from available publications and newspaper information reported in recent years. A total of 400 respondents from 10 zones of Dhaka City Corporation, Bangladesh, were interviewed as a case study via a semi-structured questionnaire survey. The results revealed that only 39.0% of respondents had explicit knowledge about environmental pollution. Air pollution was identified by 73.8%, noise pollution by 63.0%, water pollution by 55.2%, and soil pollution by only 6.5% of respondents in their surroundings. Automobiles, domestic activities, municipal garbage, and vehicle horns are significant sources of environmental pollutions. Around 49.0% of the respondents did not understand the effectiveness of currently conducted environmental programs. A discussion regarding the urgency of forming a local level environmental committee, the mass media’s active role, and monitoring the development activities was presented.

Nowadays, vehicles have major role in the transportation of people and goods. The air pollution and fuel consumption are the most important topics in this subject. One of the methods used for reducing fuel consumption is regenerative braking systems. Very few researches have studied the effects of regenerative braking system on emission of hybrid vehicles. In this research, using bond graph method, a vehicle model including combustion, heat transfer, power generation, power transmission, braking, energy storage system and vehicle body is simulated. To determine the amount of pollution generation, an incomplete combustion model and complete gas theory are assumed and Arrhenius equation is used for modelling the combustion reaction velocity. This model can determine fuel consumption in any actual operating condition and also all pollutions generated by incomplete combustion in the engine. This is the preference of this research while most of previous researches using engine fuel map to determine fuel consumption and unable to define all kind of pollutions. The body of the vehicle is modelled with seven degrees of freedom mass-spring-damper model. Also, the hydraulic braking system is modelled by acting braking torque on wheels. Using this vehicle model and its parameters, amount of energy consumption and emission of the vehicle equipped with regenerative braking system are achieved and compared with the results of the same vehicle without regenerative braking system. Simulations are performed on two standard Economic Commission for Europe and extra urban driving cycles to determine regenerative braking system operation effects on reducing fuel consumption and emission in each cycle. Results show that a vehicle with this equipment is capable of reducing fuel consumption and emission in comparing with an unequipped vehicle. Using regenerative braking system in Economic Commission for Europe cycle, in comparing with extra urban driving cycle, is more efficient in reducing emission and fuel consumption. According to the results, regenerative braking system makes more deceleration than Hydraulic Braking System in high speeds.

Abstract. Theoretical models of the Earth's atmosphere adhere to an underlying concept of flow driven by radiative transfer and the nature of the surface over which the flow is taking place: heat from the sun and/or anthropogenic sources are the sole sources of energy driving atmospheric constituent transport. However, another source of energy is prevalent in the human environment at the very local scale – the transfer of kinetic energy from moving vehicles to the atmosphere. We show that this source of energy, due to being co-located with combustion emissions, can influence their vertical distribution to the extent of having a significant influence on lower-troposphere pollutant concentrations throughout North America. The effect of vehicle-induced turbulence on freshly emitted chemicals remains notable even when taking into account more complex urban radiative transfer-driven turbulence theories at high resolution. We have designed a parameterization to account for the at-source vertical transport of freshly emitted pollutants from mobile emissions resulting from vehicle-induced turbulence, in analogy to sub-grid-scale parameterizations for plume rise emissions from large stacks. This parameterization allows vehicle-induced turbulence to be represented at the scales inherent in 3D chemical transport models, allowing this process to be represented over larger regions than is currently feasible with large eddy simulation models. Including this sub-grid-scale parameterization for the vertical transport of emitted pollutants due to vehicle-induced turbulence in a 3D chemical transport model of the atmosphere reduces pre-existing North American nitrogen dioxide biases by a factor of 8 and improves most model performance scores for nitrogen dioxide, particulate matter, and ozone (for example, reductions in root mean square errors of 20 %, 9 %, and 0.5 %, respectively).

China has been the largest vehicle market in the world since 2009. The stalemate between the rapid development of the vehicle industry and delayed vehicle emission control has become increasingly prominent. Vehicle emission has become a significant source of air pollution in China’s cities. Understanding the current barriers in the vehicle industry is necessary for the development of effective and sustainable measures and policy to manage vehicle-induced air pollution. This review provides insight into the circumstances and causes of vehicle-induced air pollution and outlines recent progress in policy-makers’ long-term strategies and regulations. The development of an integrated mechanism of social participation, technical revolution, and regulatory innovation in vehicles, fuel, and roads is suggested to break the stalemate between air pollution and the automobile boom in China; the implications of this review extend to other countries facing the similar atmospheric pollution problems.

Abstract Waste transport is just one of the segments in the solid municipal waste management. Throughout the entire waste life cycle, starting by generation of waste, via storing, collecting, transporting, recycling, treating and depositing, several different polluting substances are emitted. The solid waste transport, apropos, transporting vehicles emit into the air different pollution substances such as CO2, CO, NOx, NMVOC, PM, PAHs etc. These substances can present certain problems for human health and environment. The research subject of this study is the analysis of solid waste transportation within the Banja Luka region (B&H), from towns and municipalities belonging to the region and transporting their mixed municipal waste to the Banja Luka landfill. In the analysis, following parameters are included: distance to the landfill, type of vehicle used for the waste transportation, type of the engine, vehicle capacity and the number of tours during a year. The study estimates the emission of CO, NOx, NMVOC, and PM2.5 during one year using the listed parameters and by applying EMEP/EEA guidelines for estimating the emission of polluting substances into the air. The largest emission of polluting substances (CO, NOx, NMVOC and PM2.5) is from the oldest vehicles. The newest vehicles had a significantly lesser emission of these polluting substances into the air. The recommendation for decreasing the emission from the transportation vehicles is to organise the transfer-stations, procure new vehicles, optimise the collection routes and decrease the number of tours, as well as to better the usage of the vehicle capacity level.

Across the globe, governments have been tackling the concerning problem of air-polluting emissions by committing significant resources to improving air quality. Achieving the goal of air purification will require that both the private and public sectors invest in clean energy technology. It will also need a transition from conventional houses to smart houses and from conventional vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs). It will be necessary to integrate renewable energy sources (RESs) such as solar photovoltaics, wind energy systems and diverse varieties of bioenergies. In this paper, a hybrid converter is proposed and designed to realize the integration of the DC/DC converter, and DC/AC inverter together in the Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) power train with high performance in any operating mode, acting as a backup generator to supply emergency power directly to home.

Abstract: Motor Vehicle Pollution Doesn't Affect Against ISPA Disease. Air pollution is a problem that often occurs in the big cities, one of which is in the city of Bandung. Air pollution can cause various diseases from the most important ones namely respiratory, cardiovascular diseases, and to other diseases that attack certain organs. Based on the results of the study, air pollution from the transportation sector reached 60 percents, therefore this study will highlight the impact of motor vehicle air pollution on human’s health in Bandung, especially Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI), because the disease is the 2nd largest of the 20 biggest types of diseases in Community Health Centers / Puskesmas in Bandung. From several air pollutant parameters resulting from vehicle exhaust emissions, SO2 compounds were studied, because SO2 can cause irritation to the respiratory tract. This research using descriptive method, it can be concluded that air pollution caused by vehicle exhaust emission gas doesn’t directly affect the occurrence of Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) in Bandung. The disease can occur due to other factors not examined in this paper, due to indoor air pollution, cigarette smoke pollution, industrial pollution or the continued use of synthetic chemicals.

Based on the panel data of 224 prefecture-level and above cities in China from 2003 to 2016, this paper empirically studies the impact of urban sprawl on air pollution and introduces a mediating effect model to test the mediating role of vehicle ownership concerning the impact of urban sprawl on air pollution. The research in this paper arrives at three conclusions. First, urban sprawl has a significant positive effect on air pollution, and this conclusion is still valid after solving the endogeneity problem and conducting a robustness test. Second, the results of mediating effect test show that urban sprawl indirectly affects air pollution through the partial mediating effect of vehicle ownership. By removing the mediating effect, urban sprawl has a significant negative impact on air pollution, indicating that the mediating effect of vehicle ownership is higher concerning the impact of urban sprawl on air pollution. Third, further panel quantile regression results show that the higher the level of air pollution, the weaker the mediating effect of vehicle ownership and the stronger the direct effect of urban sprawl on air pollution. These conclusions can provide some empirical support for solving the air pollution problems caused by urban sprawl in China.

Based on the construction project of a manufacturing plant, the environmental impact assessment of possible environmental pollution during the construction period was carried out from the perspective of atmosphere, water, noise, and solid waste. The analysis of air pollution indicates that dust and motor vehicle exhaust are the main air pollution factors, of which dust emission is 33 t, and the daily emission of NOx, CO, and THC in tail gas is 5.35 kg, 3.7 kg, and 1.1 kg, respectively. The annual average wind speed of the area where the factory is located is 3.15 m/s, and the average wind speed in August is 2.50 m/s, which is 20.6% lower than the annual average. The annual average monthly precipitation is 59.5 mm, and the precipitation in July is 186.4 mm, which is 213.3% higher than the monthly average. Therefore, summer is the best time for construction. Meanwhile, in addition to taking road hardening measures to reduce emissions, dust can also be restrained through watering, and motor vehicle exhaust is reduced through reasonable operation. Water pollution analysis shows that the pH of groundwater in the factory is within the standard limit range (6.5-8.5), and the maximum standard index is less than 0.1, with a very high level of reaching the standard. Cleaning engineering machinery will produce wastewater containing petroleum substances and suspended solids. The amount of wastewater produced every day is 0.5 m3, which can be used for dust suppression. The daily amount of sewage during the construction period is 0.6 m3, which can be directly discharged to the pipe network without polluting local water sources. Noise pollution analysis shows that the minimum distance between day construction and night construction is 50 m and 281 m, respectively. Although there is large construction machinery in the construction area, the construction area itself is in the production area and there are other noise pollution sources around it, so there will not be obvious noise pollution during the construction period. The analysis of solid waste pollution indicates that the total amount of construction waste generated during the construction period is about 4.2 t, and the daily production of domestic waste is 21 kg. Part of various solid wastes is collected and treated in a centralized manner, while the rest can conducted with landfill treatment after part of them is recycled and utilized, without causing significant pollution to the local environment.

The article considers the main sources of pollutionin the territory of the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania. A study of environmental geophysical factors in the city of Vladikavkaz was carried out at 126 points; indicators of noise pollution, electric fields and the level of gamma radiation were measured. A geoaccumulation index of heavy metals in soils and indices of carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risks were calculated and corresponding maps were constructed. The obtained data supporting a high level of carcinogenic risk are consistent with a high level of cancer morbidity in the city, which indicates a close relationship between morbidity and the carcinogenic risk index. It has been determined that emissions from road transport are greater by an order of magnitude than stationary sources emissions, while there is a steady trend towards an increase in air pollution as a result of the increasing negative impact of motor vehicle emissions. It has been established that the most hazardous way for heavy metals to enter the human body from the soil is by inhalation. It has been determined that in areas where environmental pollution with heavy metals is higher, cancer morbidity is also higher.

According to population Reference Bureau, the current world population is 7.4 Billion. At present, a total number of the vehicle is 1.2 Billion according to survey and it will be 2 Billion up to 2035. Cars and trucks turn out pollution throughout their life, as well as pollution get emit throughout the vehicle operation, refuelling, producing, and disposal. Due to heavier traffic and powerful engines, noise level in cities is rapidly increasing. Our proposed system provides the solution to these problems. Our system Monitor the noise pollution created by vehicle and if any vehicle crosses its threshold value then it will get reported on the LCD and generate notification for municipal corporation. In this project we are using GPS for getting current location of vehicle & software panel checks that whether it is in no honking zone or not, if it is no honking zone then software panel informs Arduino (microcontroller) to control the horn. If user is out of honking zone then horn will reset to its original value.

Particularly automobile vehicles generate more air pollution as well noise pollution. This pollution is not only harmful to birds, but it is also starting to affect human being too. In recent days government takes multiple policies to stop pollution created by automobile vehicles. Such as the decision to demolish old automobile vehicles, provide 30% subsidy to convert automobile vehicles into an electric vehicles, etc. The main objective is to reduce air pollution as well as noise pollution created by automobile vehicles because automobile vehicle number was equally occupied as the human beings in every house. Automobile vehicle conversion technology used to convert automobile vehicles into electrical vehicles. These electrical vehicle condition monitoring and auto diagnostic execute by the Internet of Things (IoT). The IoT uses to communicate each notification to the user through various tools such as Short Message Service (SMS), E-mail, App, etc. In recent days, lot of free cloud data storage services uses to store the past week's data easily. Vehicle emission is a major source of air pollution in Dhaka. Old fleet, lack of maintenance, improper traffic and parking management, overloading, fuel adulteration etc. are responsible for high emissions from the vehicle sector. In this study, vehicle emissions have been measured on-road in Dhaka using an Automotive Gas Analyzer and Smoke Opacity Meter to determine the existing vehicle emission scenario in the city. Concentrations of carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) in the emissions from CNG/gasoline vehicles, and opacity of the emissions from diesel vehicles were measured. The results were compared with the corresponding national limit values. It was found that all types of CNG vehicles performed very well with more than 80% satisfying the corresponding limit values. Private cars ranked at the top in performance among the CNG/gasoline vehicles. Diesel vehicles were found as the worst polluters in the vehicle sector; emissions from about 75% of the diesel vehicles had opacity more than 65 HSU, the national limit value for emissions from diesel vehicles. Motor cycles were also highly polluting; 60% of the motor cycles emitted CO and HC concentrations higher than the respective national emission limit values.

The costs per pollutant used in the study come from a 1994 World Bank study estimating morbidity and mortality costs of air pollution in Santiago, based on productivity losses and treatment costs. Using MOBILE-derived vehicle emissions factors and estimated vehicle distances traveled by various vehicle types, the total estimated transport pollution costs incurred in 1994 are presented. Also presented are estimated average air pollution costs per passenger kilometer traveled for pre- and post-EPA87 standard autos and taxis and pre–and post–EPA91 standard buses, as well as for Santiago’s Metro (urban heavy rail). Future air pollution trends in Santiago are discussed, and a theoretical discussion of the potential application of these cost estimates for transportation policy making in the city is provided.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) have a crucial impact on the formation of ozone and secondary organic aerosols in the near-surface atmosphere. Understanding the composition characteristics and sources of VOCs is necessary for determining effective control policies to mitigate VOCs and related secondary pollutions. We performed on-line measurements of VOC species in typical months of each season in Yibin, a fast-growing city in Sichuan Basin in China, to identify VOC seasonal characteristics, sources, and the potential for secondary pollution formation. The average mixing ratio of VOCs in Yibin was 22.3 ppbv. Five major emission sources were identified through the positive matrix factorization model, namely, gasoline vehicle, diesel vehicle, industrial manufacturing, solvent utilization, regional background, and secondary formation. Aromatics and alkenes played leading roles in the secondary formation of ozone and secondary organic aerosols. Furthermore, m/p-xylene, ethylene, and toluene were identified to be the major reactive species. Future management should consider targeting these compounds when evaluating ozone and aerosol reduction strategies. Vehicle and solvent utilization emission mitigation would be the primary and effective ways to improve air quality in the fast-developing city in this region.

Even though several automobile manufacturers have introduced Hybrid Vehicles (hybrid vehicles generally utilize a traditional combustion engine and a fuel tank, as well as one or more electric motors and a battery pack). This paper is going to propose an electric motorcycle security system based on ARM microcontroller, 8051 microcontroller, ZigBee and GSM communication which can be utilized both in Hybrid motorcycles and Electric motorcycles. When the proposed security features will be merged with those vehicles it will be an evolutionary concept in the world of next generation two-wheeler industry because besides lowering the level of air pollution and helping in controlling the use of fuel it mainly helps people to drive motorcycles safely.

Abstract The transport sector is one of the most polluting sectors in the world and 29.8 % of all greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Latvia come from it. Given this sector’s importance, it is surprising that the external costs of transport are often measured only from the air pollution perspective, mainly CO2 emissions and the health effects associated with these emissions. However, other external costs should be considered when calculating the impact of transport. In this paper, external costs dependent on the type of motor and energy used in vehicles are calculated for Latvia’s current passenger car and light commercial vehicle situation. These external costs are compared with different proportions of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in Latvia’s passenger and light commercial vehicle fleet. In addition, changes in employment associated with changes in the automotive sector are calculated. The results indicate that having a higher BEV proportion in the fleet reduces external costs in almost all sectors and increases job positions available in the automotive sector.

On-road emissions, a dominant source of urban air pollution, damage human health. Emissions increase air pollution intake (and damage health) of travelers (internal costs), and of non-travelers (external costs). This research constructs a framework modeling the microscopic production of emission cost from the vehicle and link level and applies it to a metropolitan road network. It uses project-level Motor Vehicle Emission Simulator (MOVES) simulations to model link-specific on-road emissions, and then employs the RLINE dispersion model to estimate on- and off-road concentrations of pollutants from vehicles. The internal and external emission costs are measured accordingly by counting the health damage costs of travelers and general population because of exposure. The framework is applied to the Minneapolis-St. Paul (Twin Cities) Metropolitan Area as a proof-of-concept. The estimates show that highways have higher emission concentrations because of higher traffic flow, but that the internal and external emission costs per vehicle kilometer traveled are lower. The emission costs that commuters impose on others greatly exceeds that which they bear. This modeling process is replicable for planners and practitioners assessing emission costs in other regions.

For the demand of rapid monitoring of pollution gas disorganized emissions in industrial parks, this paper studies the solar fast tracker system of vehicle-mounted SOF-FTIR (Solar Occultation Flux Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) system, where the spectrometer directly measures the broadband absorption spectrum of solar radiation light. A fast portable solar tracking system based on PSD (position sensitive detector) is designed, the mathematical model of solar spot position on the PSD surface source is established, and the optimal optical design parameters are simulated using the model. The dead-zone integral separation PID (Proportion Integration Differentiation) control algorithm is used to track the trajectory of the solar, and the light spot position model is used to nonlinearly compensate the output of PID control so that the PID controller has the same control precision and response speed in different error areas. Experimental analysis of the solar tracking performance of the vehicle-mounted SOF-FTIR under static and dynamic conditions, as well as the spectral effects on the measurements under static vehicle, constant speed, and turning driving conditions. The remote sensing application experiment of vehicle-mounted SOF-FTIR pollution gas emission flux was carried out in a tire factory in Hefei City, Anhui Province. A vehicle-mounted SOF-FTIR system realized the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the pollution gas at the boundary of the tire plant and calculated the flux of each component pollution gas. The emission flux of pollution gas was highly consistent with the actual pollution distribution of the tire plant. The results show that the positioning accuracy of PSD in the vehicle tracking experiment can also meet SOF-FTIR requirements for solar tracking. The remote sensing system will be useful in the field of atmospheric environment monitoring, and the mobile monitoring of regional pollutant gases based on solar infrared spectroscopy has application value.

This paper discusses about the condition of air quality in Indonesia and the opportunity to control air pollution using vehicle emissions tax. It is described descriptively based on literature, legal regulations, and prior researches. Transportation grow rapidly due to population growth. It is because transportation is very important for mobility and supports economic. Motor vehicles as a mean of transportation are known to cause air pollution due to their emissions. Pollutants in emissions are risk factors for several diseases, including acute respiratory infections, bronchitis, and pneumonia. Air quality in Indonesia, namely “indeks kualitas udara (IKU)” is still in good condition. However, there are provinces that have “moderate” IKU value and even “very less”. A variety of ways are being done to control air pollution from the transportation sector. Unfortunately, in Indonesia still has not touched the economic side. Environmental economic instruments need to be developed to address this. Basically, the regulations has provided the opportunity for the implementation, such as Law Number 32 Year 2009, Law Number 28 Year 2009, and Government Regulation Number 46 Year 2017. Therefore, the study of vehicle emission tax that internalizes economic losses due to air pollution for public health needs to be done. This kind of study is expected to be an input for policymakers on air pollution control.
