Streszczenie:
This study examines the relationship between an information and communication technology (ICT) environment developed by strong national policy and the level of user trust in cyberspace in South Korea, using a secondary data analysis of a national survey dataset. We categorised a subsample into the following types of online activities: ‘content creation’, ‘transaction’ and ‘communication’. Each category was analysed by the types of information and the users’ experience while using the internet. The results revealed that the more internet experience a user had, the less they trusted information in cyberspace. In contrast, less experienced users perceived information in cyberspace to be more trustworthy. This was especially evident during transaction and content creation activities. These results differ from existing studies, which showed that developments to the ICT environment with increased internet usage were strongly correlated with increased trust. We present some suggestions drawn from the results of this study that focus on online trust in relation to the ICT environment.

Streszczenie:
This study assessed existing Collaborative Models for trust awareness to ensure effective friend-to-friend collaboration in an overlay network for better control of private data towards a robust social media interaction. The result obtained showed that the Trust-Aware Model (T-AM) demonstrated significant reliability regarding recommendation accuracy and convergence. This was because benchmarking the result from assessing the T-AM with the result from that of assessing existing collaborative models, showed that the T-AM had an accuracy of 0.875, and that of the existing collaborative model was 0.750. While the T-AM had a convergence value of 0.125, that of the existing collaborative model was 0.250. The existing model had an effectiveness value of 0.1875, while the T-AM had an effectiveness value of 0.1094. This implies that the T-AM provided improved recommendation accuracy considering the standard scale of 0 to 1, and convergence (in terms of time) on a scale of 0 to 1. The implication of this is that the T-AM’s ability to make recommendations is very significant since its accuracy value was 0.875 as compared to 0.750 of the existing collaborative models. For convergence, based on the scale rating provided above, it means that the T-AM provided accurate recommendations in a convergence of time of 0.125 as compared to 0.250 for the existing collaborative model. However, in terms of effectiveness, the T-AM performed less with an effectiveness value of 0.1094 as compared to the effectiveness value of 0.1875 of the existing collaborative models. The study concluded that trust data was effectively managed using the distributed hash table and symmetric replication methods, with significant improvement in reputational accuracy and convergence without compromising on scalability and secured online collaboration. ISO 16363:2012, Space Data and Information Transfer Systems - Audit and Certification of Trustworthy Digital Repositories (ISO TRAC), outlines actions a repository can take to be considered trustworthy, but research examining whether the repository’s designated community of users associates such actions with trustworthiness has been limited. Drawing from this ISO document and the management and information systems literatures, this paper discusses findings from interviews with 66 archaeologists and quantitative social scientists. We found similarities and differences across the disciplines and among the social scientists. Both disciplinary communities associated trust with a repository’s transparency. However, archaeologists mentioned guarantees of preservation and sustainability more frequently than the social scientists, who talked about institutional reputation. Repository processes were also linked to trust, with archaeologists more frequently citing metadata issues and social scientists discussing data selection and cleaning processes. Among the social scientists, novices mentioned the influence of colleagues on their trust in repositories almost twice as much as the experts. We discuss the implications our findings have for identifying trustworthy repositories and how they extend the models presented in the management and information systems literatures.

Subject. The paper analyzes the digital environment of trust, its role in processes of digitalization of economic relationships, problems of trust, arising during the use of digital tools in the society. Objectives. The purpose is to perform a theoretical analysis of the digital environment of trust, identify and study external and internal factors affecting the emergence and strengthening of threats to the digital environment of trust, develop proposals to reduce these threats. Methods. We apply general scientific methods of knowledge, systems approach, methodological tools of institutional theory, comparative analysis of modern approaches to the study of digitalization, and evaluation of digital economy development. Results. We substantiate the use of the “digital environment of trust” term, undertake a theoretical analysis of digital environment of trust. The latter enabled to describe and investigate threats to digital environment of trust and propose measures to reduce the revealed threats. Conclusions. Digitalization increases risk and uncertainty in economic relations. Only trust can encourage people to take digitization without fears to go to the new digital world. It is crucial to create a digital environment of trust, i.e. certain conditions of interaction in the digital world that would help achieve a high level of confidence in digital technologies.

Trust and identity are the fundamental issues to both the social as well as digital environments. An individual or a group require both of these identities to recognize, interact, and communicate in the present day social and digital worlds. In the social environment, the concept of trust and identity are different than in digital environments, but without a clear sense of identity, there can be a no ground for building the trust. Trust is helpful in supporting the identity to survive and to build relations with other identity in a particular environment. Trust management on the other hand provides a basis to establish the trust and ensure its continuity and longevity. This article compares the social and digital identities with respect to trust issues in the present-day digital scenario. Characteristics, identification process, and lifecycle of both the identities have been presented along with the threats. The work is very helpful in mapping the social scenario to the digital scenario.

Streszczenie:
The paper addresses the development of a multidimensional model of consumer trust of online services users, including such dimensions as trust in the effectiveness of regulatory activities of the state, consumer trust in online services, interpersonal trust, and predisposition to trust. Consumer trust studies in Russia are conducted primarily either in an offline context, or with an emphasis on only one of the dimensions of trust, at the same time Russian studies are mainly conceptual. The presented study is the first in Russia conducted using empirical tools and analyzing consumer trust as a multidimensional construct in an online context. The object of the empirical study is the users of online services - representatives of generations Y and Z, with the sample of the pilot study of 388 respondents, the Structural Equation Modeling method (PLS-SEM) used for analysis. The study reveals a significant influence of the predisposition to trust and the perceived effectiveness of the regulatory activities of the state on interpersonal trust. A significant positive influence of trust predisposition on the trust in online service is also confirmed, but no significant influence of the perceived effectiveness of the regulatory activity of the state on the trust in the online service was found. The study reveals a significant influence of interpersonal trust on trust in online services and the influence of trust in online services on consumers’ intention to use the service. The present effects of mediation and moderation are tested in the model. The presented research is relevant not only from a theoretical point of view, but also from a practical one, since the developed model allows us to identify the factors that form consumer trust in the online service. The findings demonstrate the perceived characteristics of the company which form consumer trust, and the factors that can reduce the negative impact of consumer distrust on the intention to use the service.

Although information and communication technologies have made communication, entertainment and business easier for people, they have also enabled cybercriminals to carry out their illegal activities in the digital environment. By misusing data, but also by activities that can cause emotional and physical damage to Internet users, cybercriminals have contributed to the erosion of the trust of consumers who have satisfied their needs and desires with digital shopping. In times of global pandemic, when a large number of consumers were forced to use online shopping services, this distrust caused great damage to companies. Strategies to rebuild trust and revitalize consumer loyalty are imperative for many organizations if they want to survive in the marketplace. Of course, legislative support is also needed to ensure cyber security, which is increasingly taking on global dimensions in its scope, presenting imperatives in defense against cyber threats to states themselves, threatening their economic and political stability.

In recent years new digital technologies have become an integral part of daily life of civilians, including their interaction with government. Trust in innovation in the government sector became the most important feature of the relations between government and civilians. The main purpose of this research is to explore how the factor of civil trust influences the implementation of digital technologies in government. We studied new phenomenon - “digital trust” and made content analysis of the main programmatic and analytical documents on the realization of the digital government concept. Based on the research results, we described the impact of the trust on the digital government effectiveness, and defined the basic principles of trust building, such as openness of the digital government system for citizens, security and reliability of electronic services, two-way communication with citizens. However, Russia lacks a clear strategy on how to build “digital trust” to government services. This circumstance could become a barrier for government’s digitalization in the future.

The regulation of social processes is part of a state’s sovereignty. States apply their law to shape and control social and economic conditions within their territory. Law as an instrument for coordinating human behaviour and for balancing colliding interests within the society is linked to human behaviour, either individually or within human organisations. The basic prerequisite for the existence of law is human interaction based on emotions, desires, and the pursuit of interests. Law and trust (interpersonal trust or system trust) are connected to each other. This leads to the assumption that law loses its relevance with a decrease of the relevance of trust. This article explores the question of which factors of current and future digitalisation could lead to a loss of the relevance of trust and of the relevance of the aspect of human behaviour as a connecting factor for legal norms. The article concludes that technological globalisation and ubiquity of the internet have already led to a loss of state territorial sovereignty. This has resulted in the diminution of system trust in law. The article further shows how digitalisation is pushing back the relevance of human behaviour and emotionality and, therefore, technicity is increasingly displacing law. The article describes the connection between deterritorialization and the development of new disruptive digital technologies and asks about the future role of ethics in the legal system of an advanced digitalised society. The development of concrete solutions and legislative proposals is subject to further studies.

The study aims to explore how consumer satisfaction influences consumer trust and, ultimately, builds strong consumer loyalty in the dynamic world of Indonesian e-commerce. The relevance of this study is determined by how e-commerce businesses can improve customer loyalty by enhancing consumer trust and satisfaction. The study used a quantitative research design and surveyed 230 consumers from Jakarta, Indonesia. The data analysis involved utilizing validation and descriptive statistics in MS Excel and inferential statistics through SmartPLS to draw meaningful conclusions. The results showed a positive, significant, and direct relationship between consumer satisfaction and consumer loyalty. The R2 for consumer loyalty indicates that consumer satisfaction and consumer trust explain 56.6% of the variances in consumer loyalty, whereas consumer satisfaction explains 37.4% of the variances in consumer trust. Furthermore, the findings showed that this relationship is strengthened when consumer trust is included as a mediator, demonstrating a complementary partial mediation indicating that trust enhances consumer loyalty. Thus, the study concludes that consumers are more likely to feel loyal to e-commerce websites when their satisfaction is combined with trust. It provides considerable insights into the determinants of consumer loyalty and emphasizes the importance of establishing trust in e-commerce websites as a critical strategy to enhance customer loyalty. This paper also contributes to the broader literature on consumer behavior and loyalty in the context of digital business, providing new insights and perspectives that can help shape future research in this area.

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of perceived security on trusts and their impact on intention to use digital payments. The study used causal studies to determine intervariable influences. The population used in this study is Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) actors in the culinary and fashion fields in the city of Bandung who have not implemented digital payment in carrying out their business activities. The type of data used is primary data collected through instruments in the form of questionnaires, then the data is processed using statistical analysis tools. The results showed that perceived security had a positive and significant effect on trust. Then, trusts have a positive and significant effect on intention to use and trusts can mediate the perceived security influence on intention to use. These results show that the perception of MSMEs who consider digital payment safe to use in making transactions, will increase their trust in digital payment services, which are ultimately going to encourage interest in using digital payments. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to perceived security variables and trusts to be able to influence the intention to use digital payment to MSMEs in the city of Bandung

The rising cryptocurrencies have revived discussion about the prospects of monetary order and the central bank’s role in it. Functionality is in the core of the competition between the forms of money and the payment landscape could be fractionalized affecting further decline in the efficiency of monetary policy. Central bank digital currency (CBDC) is looked by monetary authorities as a way to respond to technological challenge and fulfill the gap of the market failure related to some imperfections of privately issued digital money. The success of each money form is dependent on the trust as a collective experience. The paper raises the question if the central banks are more credible than private digital money when probable change in the age structure matters for the spread of fintech. Based on empirical analysis, it is found that economic agents differentiate digital money of central banks from those of private issuers. Private cryptocurrencies are considered more reliable when inflationary experience is stronger, while central banks’ independence level and financial stability are not factors of higher trust to CBDC. Also, a country’s institutional features do not indicate that successful central banks can use the “the umbrella” of trust to their own cryptocurrencies while the factors of technological advance fail to show a clear significance. Social capital better contributes to the trust to private digital money. At the same time, the age structure is the strong factor due to which digital currencies are more reliable in younger societies. It is concluded that in the case then trust in cryptocurrencies is not grounded on institutional factors that historically contributed to stability of the monetary order, preconditions for the latter’s higher vulnerability are likely to rise. With the growing role of age structure as a factor of higher trust to digital money, the quality of social interactions will become a very important institutional precondition for the stability of monetary order.

[Purpose] The objective of this paper is to study alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in both the electronic contracting of goods and/or services and interactive advertising. [Methodology/Approach/Design] The Spanish and European regulations will be analyzed in terms of regulation and self-regulation mechanisms. Self-regulation instruments are a suitable complement to current legal regulations. [Findings] Although disputes that may arise between consumers and businesses can be settled in court, the circumstances of cases involving e-commerce and interactive advertising may determine that the use of out-of-court instruments is appropriate. In this sense, self-regulation systems promote conflict prevention. In the event that it arises, it is about reaching a faster resolution than the courts of justice, cheaper and carried out by specialists in the matter. [Practical Implications] The implications of this investigation may be applicable to transactions of goods and services in general, to civil society and to the public sector. [Originality] This investigation demonstrates the convenience and significance of considering out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms over conventional means, both in Spain and in the European Union. The self-regulation instruments are based on a Code of Conduct and an impartial and independent control body that applies it. Normally, codes of conduct are based on the application of different instruments for extrajudicial conflict resolution.

The paper reviews Georgia's digital trust formation process and underlines the most important challenges for the online business sector. This research can be generalized for most developing countries where the digital transition process is on the agenda, especially for countries that have recently emerged from economic-political transition. Georgia has completed the transition from a centrally planned economic system (the heritage of being part of the Soviet Union) to a free market economy. Although trust in institutions is improving gradually, mistrust in business processes is still a great challenge for local business sectors. A wide-reaching lockdown caused by the 2020-2021 COVID-19 pandemic pushed both firms and individuals further towards online activity worldwide. In this regard, trust has become the key determinant in facilitating electronic transactions. Technological advances are providing dozens of tools to improve customer satisfaction and trust, which should lead to customer loyalty. On the other hand, lack of digital skills and digital security problems raises digital untrust concerns. Therefore, trust research in the digital economy is becoming more actual for academic or business studies. Digital trust is a multidimensional factor that is under the influence of digital and physical operations. In Georgia, businesses have to overcome obstacles built-in people's minds as a heritage of the Soviet Union. Georgia was a part of the Soviet Union for 70 years, which critically degraded the trust of both formal and informal institutions. Therefore, building digital trust in business is getting more complex as it includes traditional trust problems and digital challenges too. The main research purpose in this paper is to present the digital trust forming process in Georgia to reveal the major problems. This study involved the trust stack model in analysing three different stages of trust formation in the Georgian digital economy (trust in the idea, trust in the platform, trust in the individual). The research identified challenges and steps which should be carried out soon. Research academic findings and methodological approaches can be used to analyze other developing countries whose economies are influenced by the digital transformation process.

Under the double impact of aging and the digital divide, China is facing a severe pension problem. Promoting smart pension services can help solve this problem. This paper mainly discusses how to promote the use intention of intelligent elderly care service through digital trust. In this study, 403 valid questionnaires were obtained through questionnaire survey. The results showed that respondents' perceived ease of use of digital tools and applications significantly affected their digital trust and willingness to use them. However, considering digital trust, digital risk has no significant effect on willingness to use. This study suggests that strengthening the digital knowledge and skills of the elderly and strengthening their trust in smart elderly care services can help improve their willingness to use, and resolve the dual impact of aging and the digital divide.

Streszczenie:
In the wake of digital transformation, Parliament should implement digital policies to ensure trust. However, digital technology by itself is unlikely to produce meaningful results in the policy-making process. Accordingly, this study focuses on the coexistence of high-level digital policy governance and distrust in Parliament. Furthermore, it explores the necessary conditions of digital policy for promoting public confidence in Parliament in this era of digital transformation. In particular, by analyzing the level of institution-based and process-based digital policies, this study examines the implications of the relationship between digital policy and trust in Parliament. Finally, to ensure trust in Parliament and reestablish its roles and functions, it is imperative to improve process-based digital policies.

Human trust in automation has been studied extensively within safety critical domains (military, aviation, process control, etc.) because harmful consequences are associated with the improper calibration of trust in automated systems in these domains (Parasuraman & Riley, 1997). As such, researchers have worked to identify important factors which help humans build trust in such systems (Hoff & Bashir, 2015). With the explosion of AI in consumer technologies, it is becoming equally critical to understand how humans interact with everyday devices. This study investigated how factors that have been identified to impact trust in automation in safety critical domains influence the trust and use of popular digital assistants (Siri, Cortana, Bixby or Google Now). We conducted an online survey with 278 regular users of digital assistants across three generations (GenX, GenY, and GenZ). The results demonstrate that, even after controlling for dispositional factors (i.e., individual characteristics such as age, culture, gender), GenZ exhibited higher trust in digital assistants than GenX. More interestingly, linear regression analyses revealed a different set of predictors of trust for each generation. Results from this survey have implications for the design of digital assistants.

Existing identity metasystems provide enabling tools to manage, select, and control of digital identities but they have not provided the support of trust management that should cover how trust requirements associated with digital identities are modeled, how runtime conditions for trust are evaluated, and how the results of trust evaluation are consumed by systems/applications. In this paper, the authors propose an approach toward a trust management enabled identity metasystem that covers the analysis of trust requirements and the development of trust management system in a consistent manner. The proposed trust management architecture extends the existing identity metasystems by introducing computing components for carrying out typical trust management tasks associated with digital identities. The computing components in proposed architecture provide intelligent services for these tasks. The proposed high level architecture targets the automation of the development of the trust management layer for digital identities.

The virtual nature of digital money is fueling the conflict between usability, functionality and trust in the digital form. Institutional trust drivers should move forward in understanding the nature of confidence in digital money. Do central banks digital money (CBDC – central bank digital currency) and private cryptocurrencies demonstrate the same or different trust patterns? The paper used the general regression method to discover the relationship between trust in different forms of digital money and selected variables that may generate this trust. Simple empirical tests were sufficient to find the fundamental importance of age as a confidence driver relevant to CBDC and cryptocurrencies. It is found that traditional factors associated with the inflation history and quality of monetary order (central banks independence and rule of law) do not play a role in the case of CBDC, but are important in the case of cryptocurrencies. Structural features (like FinTech development or social trust) that should support trust in digital money are not found to be important. Societies with larger fraction of younger generations demonstrate higher confidence in centralized and decentralized forms of digital money. This challenges the traditional approach to money and calls into question the future role of monetary stability institutions in the digital age. Digitalization is perceived as an improvement in welfare only when fiat money institutions become fragile. The efficiency and credibility of central banks are not a bonus to confidence in CBDC. This is a challenge for the institutional design of the future digital-based monetary order.

In view of the impact of digital life on residents’ trust, firstly, based on the data of China Household Finance Survey (CHFS), this paper analyzes the change of residents’ trust in the era of data flooding. Through basic research and marginal effect analysis, it is found that digital life enhances residents’ trust. Secondly, the robustness of the conclusion is confirmed by constructing a series of models such as ordered probit of instrumental variable (IV-O probit), ordered probit of propensity score matching method (PSM-O probit), and ordered probit Heckman (O-probit-Heckman). Finally, through the mechanism test, it is concluded that digital life can enhance residents’ trust by increasing social activities and forming an inclusive social environment. It will also increase trust by obtaining information and increasing their cognitive level. The conclusion that digital life can enhance residents’ trust is more prominent among urban residents, nonpoor Hukou residents, and Han residents. Further research shows that the breadth and depth of digital life have a positive impact on residents’ trust, and digital life can improve residents’ risk tolerance.

Introduction. The individual’s application of established social practices in the digital environment faces certain difficulties caused by the wide opportunities for “honest” and “dishonest” behavior on the Internet. The high level of trust in digital technologies and the possibility of manipulating personal data, the desire to rely on “expert opinion” and unreliable information, the social need for communication and the illusion of communication in social networks, as well as other dilemmas of relationships in the digital world and operating with big data create a sense of uncertainty, instability and disunity in the perception of digital reality. The purpose of the article is to identify social and ethical aspects of trust phenomenon as an attitude of consciousness, obstacles to digital trust and identify ways to develop it. Materials and Methods. The interdisciplinary approach based on ethics of information technology, sociology, and communication theory allows us to analyze the formation of new social practices and interpret the development of a person’s value attitude to new realities of life. Research result. The following areas of actualization of the concept of “trust” in the digital world are identified as trust in data and algorithms, trust in “digital subject”, “Internet of trust” as a space of obligations and rules. The formation of the “Internet of trust” is associated with awareness of all social, moral and psychological problems associated with the process of combining online and offline environments in the social practice of an individual, where new forms of applying traditional standards of behavior should be found. Discussion and Conclusion. Postponing the rational risk analysis of digital interaction by an individual “for later” provokes the creation of situations that are critical for the individual’s well-being and security. The costs of digital trust are reduced security and creation of “traps” in public relations and social practices. Digital environment creates a situation of vulnerability of an individual, which encourages him to resort to possible measures of protection. In turn, the “Internet of trust” as a new digital reality is absolutely necessary for the effective functioning and further development of society.

Aim. The presented study aims to show the influence of digital trust on the formation and transformation of people’s economic behavior.Tasks. The authors investigate the evolution of scientific approaches to the characterization of trust; determine historical reasons for the emergence of digital trust; classify modern financial instruments as elements of the economic system; formulate an economic-sociological approach that makes it possible to examine trust in financial instruments in the context of digital transformation; identify methods and instruments for increasing digital trust and determine the consequences of their use by economic subjects.Methods. This study uses a research method based on the economic and sociological theories of trust developed by such authors as M. Weber, G. Simmel, T. Parsons, and N. Luhmann, who interpreted this phenomenon in relation to economics.Results. According to the results of analyzing theoretical approaches, the methods of the sociology of trust can be used in the investigation of trust in economic institutions. The study substantiates the thesis that digital financial instruments should be viewed through the lenses of “personal” and “system” trust using N. Luhmann’s system analysis. It also proves that digital financial instruments contribute to reducing the risk of distrust in economic transactions, preserving the integrity of the social system.Conclusions. The phenomenon of trust needs to be examined in conjunction with the analysis of digital transformations in the financial sphere, since this makes it possible to re-imagine and explore in more detail the conditions for the use of financial digital instruments by consumers, and therefore requires a theory and methodology for studying the relationship between these phenomena to be developed.

Digital trust and, simultaneously, global distrust became a topical issue in the context of modern trends in the socioeconomic systems development: informatization, internetization, networkization, digitalization. A. Guterres asserts global distrust as one of the four “horsemen of the apocalypse” that threaten all of humanity at the present time. Vulnerability of Russia's positions in the global information and digital space, represented in the predominance of foreign (primarily Western) software and Chinese hardware, cyber-attacks on strategic infrastructure facilities, leaks and the actual vulnerability of personal data of the population (often almost unhindered access for fraudsters to the personal data of residents and non-residents), actualizes the need to strengthen national information security and, therefore, the perspective of the article. A research of digital trust, coupled with artificial intelligence and cyber, information and digital economic security, is conducted based on the methods of institutional-economic, interdisciplinary, empirical generalization, interpretation of new economic institutions and concepts, hypothesizing and scientific approach to the analysis of a new digital socio-economic reality. The research results are, firstly, a confirmed relationship between digital trust and digital economic security; second, digital trust and artificial intelligence; third, digital distrust and institutional traps in the context of artificial intelligence; fourth, the institutional aspects of AI on the example of China. The authorial hypothesis is formulated as the following: are destructive institutions and institutional-economic thinking formed in the context of the economy and society digitalization, the development of a Russian digital economy model with conflicting institutions? The novelty of the study involves clarifying the definitions of the institution of trust, digital global distrust, as well as digital institutional traps, the level of digital trust (for business, the abovementioned is reflected in building a trust system in supply chains, measured in terms of user confidence in information and digital goods, in the protection of personal data, their confidentiality).

This study explores the aspects that impact customers' perspectives and actions about digital transactions, specifically in this dynamic economy. The research draws from a comprehensive literature review to synthesize important aspects pertaining to user experience, trust, perceived risk, convenience, socio-demographic factors, innovative drives, regulatory environment, cultural effects, and future trends. The results show that ease and efficiency are the most important factors in driving adoption, even while people still worry about the security of digital transactions and the perceived risks associated with them. Trust also appears as an important component, and it is significantly influenced by user experience and the reputation of service providers. Consumer sentiments are already complicated, and socio-demographic factors like age, income, and digital literacy further complicate matters. A number of factors come into play, including cultural norms, legislative frameworks, emerging technologies, and social shifts towards cashless economies. Legislators and practitioners alike can benefit from the study's findings on how to increase trust, decrease risks, and promote widespread usage of digital transactions. User experience, ease, security, trust, demography, innovation, regulatory environment, cultural effects, and future trends are some of the words and ideas used to define various parts of the digital transaction. The paper represents the review of marketing management tools and technologies online: the concept of trust funnel, web-traffic temperature, digital marketing tools. The relevance of the work is determined by the following factors: first, globalization and digital revolution have irreversibly changed the trajectory of the marketing technology development path. Mass advertising has smoothly lost its influence, and companies began to focus more on the customer. The emergence of new digital media has led to new concept – digital marketing. Second, many organizations are using a combination of traditional and digital marketing channels; however, digital marketing is becoming more prominent as it allows for more precise tracking of resources and funds in relation to other traditional marketing channels. In conclusion, the authors highlight common elements in defining the concept of digital marketing: its connection with technological progress and the use of the Internet, leading us to social media. In the new digital age, the main function of marketing is to be in constant contact with users, customers, the community and other companies, provides relevant news and content that convey unique experiences, communicate with people, giving them the opportunity to interact with the company or brand.
