Occupational health and safety is an important aspect that needs to be considered in the company's management system, because it involves activities or activities that protect and maintain the resources or inputs owned by the company such as equipment, facilities and human resources from accidents that can be harmful and detrimental company. UKM Kediri is an association of UMKM, namely UKM Making Tofu, Making Herbal Beverages, Making Crackers, and Self-Service Sales. To run this MSME, each MSME has a way to produce well in different ways. In the production process, UMKM still pays little attention to the physical work environment, specifically in the Working Climate, Noise and Lighting sections. This research is descriptive in nature with a cross-sectional design in this measurement referring to the Minister of Manpower Standard Number 5 of 2018 concerning Occupational Safety. From the results of Identification of Working Climate Factors, Noise, and Lighting in the Kediri MSME Sector that the working climate factors in the cracker oven section and the cracker dough cooking section still exceed the NAB standard. the noise factor in the Soybean Boiling, Tofu Printing, and Herbal Beverage Squeezing Production Sites is close to NAV. the lighting factor in the Production Area for Squeezing Herbal Beverages, the Cracker Printing Area, the Materials Section and the Dough Mixing Container is still insufficient to exceed the NAV. The working climate factor needs to be controlled, the lighting factor is still inadequate, it is necessary to add lighting and noise that exceeds the threshold value, but there are 2 points in the Kediri MSME production process for the need for personal protective equipment (earphones).

Energy Efficiency is a business that is carried out with the aim of reducing the amount of energy needed, in using an equipment or even an energy-related system. In its development in the field of lighting, LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamps are now starting to be used as lighting lamps for homes, industries and factories. In Indonesia, the use of LED lamps in lighting is still rarely used, because the price of LED lamps is quite expensive when compared to ordinary lamps. With the saving of electric power through the use of LED lights, the problem of operational costs will be easy to overcome. Indeed, the price of this LED lamp is a little expensive, but with the research on the comparison of the use of this LED lamp with HPL-N type lamps, the industry will consider using this LED lamp with a generally accepted application method to reduce energy expenditure. The previous conditions for Jalan Dolok Merawan used HPLN 250 Watt lamps with a handlebar angle of 24,920 ornaments, the resulting light intensity was 2189 Candela, the intensity of the resulting lighting was 97.94 Lux and has now been changed to make it more optimal to use 120 Watt LED type lights, the height of the pole used is 4 meterss with an ornament handlebar angle of 24.920, light intensity of 1242 Candella, lighting intensity of 55.33 lux. The results of this illumination intensity are in accordance with the standard determined by BSN SNI regarding Collector road class 3-7 Lux. The results achieved after the process of modifying HPL-N lamps to LEDs are that they can reduce the use of electrical energy in the lighting system and achieve efficiency for electric power consumption so that they can provide added value to the company in reducing the company's operational costs.

Streszczenie:
In the context of an insulated area with a subtropical climate, such as La Réunion island, it is crucial to reduce the energy consumption of buildings and develop local renewable energy sources to achieve energy autonomy. Direct current (DC) nanogrids could facilitate this by reducing the energy conversion steps, especially for solar energy. This article presents the deployment and efficiency evaluation of a 48 VDC low-voltage direct current (LVDC) nanogrid, from conception to real-world installation within a company. The nanogrid consists of a photovoltaic power plant, a lithium–iron–phosphate (LFP) battery, and DC end-use equipment, such as LED lighting and DC fans, for two individual offices. For identical test conditions, which are at an equivalent cabling distance and with the same final power demand, the total power consumed by the installation is measured for several stages from 50 to 400 W, according to a 100% DC configuration or a conventional DC/AC/DC PV configuration incorporating an inverter and AC/DC converter. The methodology used enables a critical view to be taken of the installation, assessing both its efficiency and its limitations. Energy savings of between 23% and 40% are measured in DC for a power limit identified at 150 W for a distance of 25 m. These results show that it is possible to supply 48 VDC in an innovative way to terminal equipment consuming no more than 100 W, such as lighting and air fans, using the IEEE 802.3 bt power over ethernet (PoE) protocol, while at the same time saving energy. The nanogrid hardware and software infrastructure, the methodology employed for efficiency quantification, and the measurement results are described in the paper.

Microclimate and light environment monitoring systems form a relatively new (emerging) hightech market segment in Russia. Projects being implemented in Russia include microclimate control based on imported equipment, while intelligent lighting systems are not produced at all. The barriers preventing the segment from growing also include lack of standards (each company develops its own technology) and inability of the Russian-produced measuring instruments registered in the State Register to work as part of such systems. These all are the key aspects are taken into account when making decisions regarding automation. Based on its proprietary developments, TKA has manufactured microclimate monitoring systems and introduced the same in museum and library premises (with wall thickness of up to 1 m, high remoteness of the premises (buildings) and other specific conditions). In particular, the specific features of buildings and some premises of the Library of the Academy of Sciences required pre-testing in order to determine permeability of walls and doors in terms of wireless communication. As a result, in the course of project development, it was found that it was necessary to install 8 repeaters to enable reliable radio signal passage. The goal of the ongoing study is to create a native system with adjustable operation conditions, number of sensors, selection of monitored parameters and their metrological characteristics, which would increase the accuracy of metrological monitoring in museum, library and archive premises as well as in greenhouse facilities and in urban and industrial infrastructural facilities by means of the lighting environment spectrometric and radiometric analysis and intelligent microclimate control.

Thanks to fast alarm systems and modern fire-fighting equipment most forest fires can be extinguished while still very small. Nevertheless, the fire brigade and forest organisations in the Grisons are recurringly confronted with larger fires. Over the past twenty years the Grisons Forestry Service and the fire section of the cantonal Building Insurance Company have invested in fire prevention and improved fire-fighting techniques. To monitor and assess the risk of forest fires, the computer-aided forest fire forecasting system “Incendi” was developed. On its basis, regional forest fire risk maps are drawn up and bans on the lighting of fires are imposed. For use in case of fire, the Forestry Service has drawn up maps of the whole Canton Grisons showing water supply points in and near the forest. Where there are gaps in the water supply, artificial water sources are being created. Fifteen years ago a concept of forest fire-fighting bases was elaborated. The most important elements of this concept are the 18 regional depots of mobile fire-fighting material, which in case of emergency can be transported where needed. The present-day administrative structures and the precautionary measures taken in the Grisons fulfil the conditions for efficient forest fire prevention and control.

This paper seeks to increase interest level on energy efficiency by bringing to fore payback-period assessment of implementing energy-efficient measures that could help achieve sustainable production processes in a typical medium scale printing manufacturing industry in Lagos, Nigeria. Several energy efficiency measures have been suggested based on identifiable energy management opportunities within this industry. The method used for the economic evaluation and feasibility study is payback period; this approach is aimed at providing guidance for a quick and informed decision on the implementation of the energy efficiency measures identified. The payback for two of these measures namely; turning off equipment when not in use and replacement of drive belts on large motors with energy efficient cog belts, have been found to be immediate. When standard fluorescent lighting and incandescent bulbs are replaced with energy efficient lamps and bank of capacitors are installed to improve the power factor of the motors, the company will recoup its initial investment in less than one year. Also, purchasing and installing an advanced electronic meter with data logging capability to help monitor electrical demand has been shown to give the highest payback of 2.4 years. These payback period results have indicated that investment in the recommended energy efficient technologies are economically viable and worthy of implementation. With this analysis, management of manufacturing industries can now make informed economic decision towards productivity improvement and sustainability.

Energy performance contracting (EPC) is the best solution for an educational building to implement energy conservation measures (ECMs) because of its high capital expenditure and operational expenditure needed for retrofit and maintenance. It is also considered a win–win mechanism for organising building energy efficiency retrofit projects. It aims to assist educational buildings in acquiring new high-efficiency equipment and maximising energy use reduction, as guaranteed by energy service company (ESCO). This study developed an EPC model using regression analysis, in which the inputs are based on the data collected during the preliminary energy audit in University A. As a result, with a quantum sharing ratio of 0.95/0.5 for ESCO/University A, the forecasted energy savings from the proposed ECMs, chiller optimisation and replacement, lighting retrofit, and energy management system are estimated to save 25.6% energy use, which reduces 5,672,057 kilowatt-hour (kWh) in electricity consumption; saves RM 2,762,291.76/year; carbon dioxide (CO2) mitigation equal to 3,771,061.22 kgCO2/year; return of investment of 4.2 years with a 5% interest rate; and building energy intensity of 93.55 kWh/m2/year. A sensitivity analysis of various quantum sharing ratios found that the saving value of ESCO is inversely proportional to that of University A as the client when the quantum sharing ratio for the former is increasing.

Introduction/ background/ objectives The possibility of doing work at home dates back several centuries; however, technological development has allowed for the creation of new jobs based on it and eventually fully executed outside the employer’s premises. In addition, the pandemic situation associated with SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) has encouraged many institutions to initiate or intensify telework. The purpose of this review was to summarize the most relevant data about the topic, in the context of Occupational Health. Methodology This is a Review, initiated through a survey conducted in April 2020, in the databases “CINALH plus with full text, Medline with full text, Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane Methodology Register, Nursing and Allied Health Collection: comprehensive, MedicLatina, SCOPUS and RCAAP”. Content Telework is working at home, or at least outside the employer’s conventional facilities, but in a previously stipulated and approved location, using technology. In this review, data on the historical evolution of the work were summarized, highlighting the various Industrial Revolutions. Some national and especially international statistics were also included in the context of Telework. The main sub-types of Telework are also briefly described and what are the desirable characteristics in teleworkers and telemanagers. Finally, the main advantages and disadvantages mentioned in the consulted bibliography are highlighted. Conclusions Generally speaking, the perception of advantages and disadvantages depends on the employee’s characteristics (such as personality, flexibility, autonomy, competence, need for socialization, posture and commitment to work); characteristics of the employer (management, malleability, valorization of human resources, means and procedures); the tasks themselves (ease or not of being teleworked); family characteristics (number of elements, age of children and relational quality); the household (size, lighting, furniture, equipment, area exclusive or not for the Telework); traffic, pollution and urban safety; as well as consequences for the relationship with the company, work and personal life (family and society); that is, the same aspect can be considered both an advantage and a disadvantage, depending on the global context. Furthermore, in reality, Telework has such a diversity of conditions and characteristics, that consensus conclusions are not possible. It is necessary for each institution to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of inserting the Telework and, if it decides to proceed, have a sense of what are the factors that can enhance and compromise the success of the project.

A portable power station is a power station that can be easily transported to meet the electricity needs of outbound activities, night-time fishing, merchants at night markets, and refugee tents. When natural disasters such as earthquakes, landslides, tsunamis, and floods occur, the electricity network and communication networks are disrupted, despite the urgent need for electricity to supply basic things at the disaster site, such as lighting, charging cellphones, and providing other electronic equipment. This study designed and implemented a portable power station using lithium-ion batteries as a source of electrical energy, with solar modules and the State Electricity Company (PLN) power grid for recharging the batteries. The research method is experimental quantitative, and the power station is intended to generate 300 Wh of electrical energy. Tests performed include: 1) The charging process uses a 1 x 50 Wp solar module and the PLN electricity network; 2). The process of discharging involves a 50-Watt ac-led lamp and a 4.000-mAh smartphone. As a result, the portable power station can function effectively, can provide electrical energy for one 50-watt ac-led lamp for t = 6.27 hours, and can recharge a smartphone six times. While the process of recharging using a solar module took t = 8 hours, it took t = 4 hours when using the State Electricity Company (PLN) power grid.

The article considers the classical scheme of the broadcast news studio and the principle of operation of the television broadcasting system on the example of the standard of the international digital television system, which is the reference model of terrestrial digital television transmission. The structural scheme of the broadcast news studio is given, the functions of each block of the studio and the principle of their work are described. The diagram of the digital television system shows how the signal from the studio passes through the stages of encoding and modulation to the broadcasting antenna, and then the demodulated and decoded TV signal appears in the digital television application on the viewer's side. The interactive communication channel is also discussed in more detail. The diagram of the interactive communication channel presented in this article shows how the communication between the broadcasting company and the viewer of digital television takes place. However, given the current tendency of TV channels to move from broadcasting on digital television to online broadcasting on streaming platforms, the article considers an example of organizing an online broadcast on the YouTube platform. Using the example of equipment from the classical scheme of the broadcast studio, the selection of similar low-budget equipment for organizing a studio for online broadcasts was carried out. The list of low-budget equipment includes a video mixer, video cameras, lighting equipment and two types of microphones. The advantages and disadvantages of low-budget equipment are indicated, from which it can be concluded that low-budget equipment is not of poor quality, but is designed for a smaller number of connected equipment, so it is suitable for use in small television studios. The functions and possibilities of using the selected Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro video mixer are considered. A scheme for organizing a live broadcast on the YouTube streaming platform using the selected equipment is presented. The low budget of the studio is substantiated by estimates and comparison with the budget of a similar educational television studio. The possibilities of remote access organizing to the workplace via VPN (Virtual Private Network) and RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) are also considered. These features allow employees to work from a remote location, not directly in the studio. The purpose of the article was to determine how does remote access delay the work of the studio and complicate the process of launching online broadcasts. Measurements of connection delay and broadcasting were carried out. According to the results of the measurements, it was concluded that both VPN and RDC insignificantly affects the connection speed of the equipment, so remote work can be equally comfortable as working directly in the studio. The difference between remote work and direct work in the studio consists of in the preliminary configuration of devices for remote connection and also remote work depends on the Internet connection entirely and light availability in the studio.

The automotive industry has grown post-Covid 19, positively impacting related sectors like car lighting. Due to high demand, PT Automotive Lumina, a lamp manufacturer specializing in OEM car lights, needs better time management. Responding to RFQs for new car models poses significant challenges due to delays caused by dependence on Juoku Technology. To tackle this, the company initiated an independent R&D process, but the need for more effective knowledge management worsens the situation, affecting competitiveness in a rapidly changing market. This research addresses two key questions: What Knowledge Management system can be proposed for time efficiency in the R&D Department of PT Automotive Lumina? and How to implement the suggested Knowledge Management system for time efficiency in the R&D Department of PT Automotive Lumina? Qualitative research methods were employed to study these questions, including interviews with key stakeholders. Analysis revealed eight sub-causes contributing to the observed problems, including a lack of skilled personnel, ineffective knowledge management, reliance on Juoku’s R&D schedule, rapid technological advancements, inefficient processes, limited decision-making authority, limited testing equipment in the R&D department, and most importantly, the absence of a knowledge management system. Several solutions to these challenges are presented based on the SECI, PPT framework, and Core, Advanced, and Innovative knowledge framework. Direct training, knowledge capture, and collaboration tools are among the planned knowledge management programs at PT Automotive Lumina. Preparation procedures were conducted in November and December 2023, with the proposed solution implementation set to begin in February 2024. Following deployment, knowledge management activities will be evaluated, and necessary modifications will be made for future improvements. PT Automotive Lumina aims to enhance time efficiency and support independent R&D through improved knowledge management procedures.

Abstract This article presents the results of the level of feeding and the health status of dairy cows in a commercial dairy farm on the content of the main components in milk (fat, protein, urea). The aim of the research was to study the milk productivity and composition of milk of cows, to analyze the level of feeding and the content of basic nutrients in the diet of the farm. The farm breeds purebred Holstein cattle with a high genetic potential for productivity. The milking herd was formed in 2009 on the basis of 600 heads of Holstein-Friesian heifers imported from Hungary, as well as 65 heads of Holsteinized heifers of Ukrainian selection from Ukraine in 2015. Today the livestock numbers about 1,500 head of cattle, of which there are about 900 breeders. On the territory of the farm there are: 3 cowsheds for keeping cows, an insemination room, a milking parlor with a parallel installation of the Delaval company, in which 48 cows are milked for one milking, the ABK, where the manager's office, livestock technician, accounting is located, and a mini-hotel with dining room and lounges. Dairy bases are equipped with auto-drinkers, ventilation, plumbing, electric lighting, manure removal mechanisms, and a milking installation. The object of the research was Holstein cows in the amount of 483 heads of Aina Dairy Farm LLP. The studies were carried out according to generally accepted zootechnical methods using modern equipment for conducting analyzes and interstate and state standards. The research results showed that the milk productivity of cows averaged 19.5 kg per day, the fat content 4.3%, the protein 3.9%, the number of somatic cells 230.5 thousand units / ml, urea 45.3 mg / 100 ml respectively. Analyzing the level of urea in milk can suggest a high crude protein content in the diet. The ration of feeding dairy cows on the farm is concentrate-silage-haylage and there is an excess of dry matter by 16.2%, crude protein by 9.8%, starch by 29.4%, respectively.

Streszczenie:
The most common electric loads at enterprises, including agricultural ones, are electric motors and lighting installations. In addition, electrothermal installations and semiconductor converters of alternating current into direct current are also used. Electric motors are usually three-phase, they create higher harmonics and voltage fluctuations at the start-up. (Research purpose) The research purpose is evaluating the possibility of using data of voltage non-sinusoidality obtained from metering devices for monitoring and managing for power losses, and the reliability of electrical equipment in distribution grids. (Materials and methods) The measuring complex «Resource-UF2M», which allows the measurement and registration of electricity parameters established by GOST 32144-2013, was used to carry out the measurements. (Results and discussion) The issue of the influence of non-sinusoidal voltage on long grids of 0.4 kilovolts in Russia is relevant. In many industrially developed countries, the network is affected by powerful nonlinear loads that distort the shape of current and voltage curves in electrical grids; the connection of such loads is allowed only in compliance with the requirements for ensuring the quality of electrical energy, for this purpose appropriate corrective devices are used. At the same time, the total capacity of the newly introduced nonlinear load should not exceed 3-5 percent of the capacity of the entire power company. The opposite picture is observed in the Russian Federation, where such consumers are connected rather randomly. The issuance of technical requirements for connection in most cases has a formal character due to the lack of standard methods and mass certified devices; the rejection of filter-compensating, symmetrical, multifunctional optimizing devices leads to a deterioration in the quality of electrical energy. (Conclusions) When the power of non-linear consumers is exceeded, various problems in operation and consequences should be expected, the causes of which are not obvious. In low-voltage distribution grids supplying rural consumers with a non-linear load share of more than 25 percent, individual problems can manifest themselves immediately.
