Electronic Training Need Analysis Identification (e-TNAi) is an application of responsive web systems developed to provide accurate and relevant data on the predictions of training needs of an organization. This system application can be accessed through a variety of devices where each staff can fill out the training requirements information everywhere. This effective method allows information to be collected centrally. The training offers are based on the field of training and staff’s choice. The staff's interest and knowledge and additional values will be linked directly to this app in ensuring the right training offers. The novelty and uniqueness of this system is from the aspect of smart identification; the system will identify the priority of which training the management needs to organize. Additionally, this method also has a good impact in which it is time-saving in the aspect of effective decision making at the organization level. In short, this application gives you the edge in the accuracy of information as well as smart, portable, flexible and cost-effective. The e-TNAi system is a system applied at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Polytechnic (PSMZA). It is also very suitable to be applied and has the potential to be marketed as it can be used by all polytechnics in Malaysia. This system can also be applied to all other institutions to assist management in decision making of training priorities in future.

Inclusive education aims to provide learning progress for all. It requires assessments to identify learning levels and progress and to adapt and evaluate instruction. We extend the classroom-based assessment (CBA) approach and argue that CBA in inclusive schools consists of the four dimensions of Instructional Decision-Making, Educational Assessment, Identification of Students with Special Educational Needs, and Progress Monitoring. For this paper, we developed both a framework of CBA for research interests and individual scales for each dimension (6 to 9 items per scale) in order to identify the four dimensions in which teachers need further training. To create a more manageable instrument for education and training practice, we tested a combined model as a questionnaire. In a survey of 110 teachers and 152 pre-service special education teachers (N = 252), the individual scales had good internal consistency (α = .92, .82, .92, .93). Using Confirmatory Factor Analysis, an initial combined model, consisting of the revised individual scales, showed acceptable fit values (CFI = 0.94, TLI = 0.89, RMSEA = 0.07, SRMR = 0.06) almost everywhere. The further development of the questionnaire and its significance and relevance for inclusive educational practice will be discussed.

This study aims to describe the synergy between TNI and Polri in countering terrorism. This research uses a mixed method with a SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) to find the best strategies in increasing the synergy between TNI and Polri in countering terrorism. This research concludes that there is a need for a Presidential Decree which contains technical operational regulations so that the TNI's involvement mechanism is clearer in countering terrorism, command and control in countering acts of terrorism is one of the main factors that determine the success of operations. The ability of the TNI and Polri to cope with actions terrorism is still not optimal because of the lack of intensity of joint training in counterterrorism, as well as a narrow, negative and overblown understanding of "esprit de corps" will have negative implications for application in everyday life and in assignment situations, especially in counterterrorism involving the TNI and Polri.d short conclusion. The abstract should only be typed in one paragraph and one-column format.

Children and youth who sustain traumatic brain injury (TBI) are at risk for being unidentified or misidentified and, even if appropriately identified, are at risk of encountering professionals who are ill-equipped to address their unique needs. A comparison of the number of people in Tennessee ages 3–21 years incurring brain injury compared to the number of students ages 3–21 years being categorized and served as TBI by the Department of Education (DOE) motivated us to create this program. Identified needs addressed by the program include the following: (a) accurate identification of students with TBI; (b) training of school personnel; (c) development of linkages and training of hospital personnel; and (d) hospital-school transition intervention. Funded by Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA) grants with support from the Tennessee DOE, Project BRAIN focuses on improving educational outcomes for students with TBI through the provision of specialized group training and ongoing education for educators, families, and health professionals who support students with TBI. The program seeks to link families, hospitals, and community health providers with school professionals such as speech-language pathologists (SLPs) to identify and address the needs of students with brain injury.

The attempt was made to analyse the awareness and utility of RBK services by the farmers and training needs of Village Agricultural Assistants (VAAs) in Guntur district. Hundred farmers from 10 subdivisions and 165 VAAs from 55 mandals were selected asthe respondents. Majority of the farmers were aware of distribution of quality fertilizers (88.00%), e-crop booking (86.00%), soil & water testing facility (78.00%), free crop insurance/ animal insurance (75.00%), provision of quality seed (green manure/ crop seed/fodder seed/concentrate feed) (73.00%), distribution of quality pesticides (60.00%) and provision of need based information to farmers on crop healthmanagement (57.00%). With respect to utility, only few services are utilised by the farmers’ viz., e crop booking (82.00%), free crop insurance / animal insurance (59.00%) and distribution of quality fertilizers (58.00%). Majority of the Village Agricultural Assistants expressed that Integrated Disease Management (87.27 TNI & Rank I), Integrated Pest management (83.64TNI &Rank II), new varieties (81.41TNI & Rank III),Micro nutrient management (80.80TNI & Rank IV), Integrated weed management (80.20 TNI & Rank V) are the major areas of training needed by them. Major constraints expressed by VAAs are inability to meet the demands of farmers with respect to providing all of them with subsidies, inability to maintain sufficient fertilizers, pesticides and otherstocks as required by farmers and Heavy work load.

The study's main objective was to determine the need for primary school teacher training. The study's major goals were to (a) investigate the importance of teacher training programs at the primary school level for the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process; (b) determine the need for teacher training at the primary school level; (c) determine the need for professional training at the primary school level, and (c) recommend specific measures to improve primary school teacher training. A survey technique was utilized to conduct the study. Through random sampling, one hundred thirty-eight (138) male-female public primary and Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) affiliated school teachers were selected from the five Tehsils of District Bahawalpur with an equal proportion of urban and rural schools. The data were collected through a questionnaire and interpreted through SPSS V23. The results showed that no one teacher had excellent knowledge of to use learning tools in the classroom, Knowledge of National Profession Standards for teachers, concepts of math, practical application of content knowledge skills and English Language skills. So, there is a need of training for teachers to use the learning tools in the classroom effectively, to know about National professional Standards for teachers, teaching skills of math, science, and English.

Indonesia consistently sends TNI troops to the UN Peacekeeping Mission as a Garuda Contingent. The 1st Engineer Battalion of the Marine Corps needs to increase its unit's readiness to support the TNI's tasks in every world peacekeeping operation. Each unit personnel is expected to have readiness in following each assignment mission so that they are able to meet the specified requirements. However, unit personnel still did not pass the assignment selection at the recruitment stage. This study will analyze the formation of 1 st Engineer Battalion of Marine Corps personnel to follow the assignment, especially at the recruitment stage using qualitative methods. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the personnel training carried out by the unit is still unable to increase its personnel's readiness in following assignments optimally. Therefore we need an effort to foster personnel comprehensively.

This research is entitled "appointment of acting regional heads to face the 2024 simultaneous regional-head elections in the perspective of constitutional law". This research is considered urgent because there are numerous important aspects of the appointment of the Acting Regional Heads that need to be studied and analyzed, including the pros and cons of the absence of Government Regulations, the lack of transparency, openness, and accountability, as well as the pros and cos regarding the appointment of active members of the TNI and POLRI as acting regional heads. The problem is stated as follows: 1. How is the appointment of the acting Regional Heads to face the 2024 simultaneous regional head elections in the perspective of constitutional law? 2. How is the appointment of middle high leaders and Pratama high leaders who are members of the TNI and POLRI as acting Regional Heads according to statutory regulations? This research is a normative juridical research that employs primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The method of collecting legal materials is carried out by literature study, while the method of processing legal materials is inventory, identification, categorization, and systematization of existing legal materials, and the analytical method used is a qualitative juridical method. The conclusions of the research are 1. the appointment of acting Regional Heads that has been carried out by the Government to face the 2024 regional head elections in a formal or textual juridical manner is in accordance with the provisions of Article 201 paragraph (10) and (11) of Law No. 10 of 2016 concerning the Election of Governors, Regents, and Mayors. However, in essence and substance, the appointment of the acting regional heads has violated the principles of constitutionalism contained in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, namely the principle of the rule of law and the principle of a democratic state, the principle of legality, and regional autonomy. It also Failed to fulfill the principle of transparency, openness and accountability as contained in the principles of state administration and good governance. 2. The appointment of of middle high leaders and Pratama high leaders who come from active members of the TNI and POLRI as acting Regional Heads is a violation of Law Number 34 of 2004 concerning the TNI, Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Indonesian Police, Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning ASN and the decision of the Constitutional Court Number 15/PUU-XX/2022.

Vocational training (VET) is a very complex and understudiedsystem-object, the functioning of which is the subject to a continuous action of a large number of random (uncertain) factors. The coactions of these factors leads to significant inconsistencies in the development of the training program, reducing its effectiveness in relation to the achievement of learning objectives. The lack of commensurability of the real increase in efficiency with the target settings should be considered, first of all, as a problem of software quality. In connection with the insufficiency of the existing theoretical ideas about the internal properties of the educational process (OP), the problem of control synthesis can be solved by observing its inputs and outputs. Observation of the reaction of output quantities to changes in input influences allows us to construct a posteriori model of the process, i.e. to identify the quality problem in the early stages of its inception. The purpose of this work is to investigate the possibility of ensuring the quality of personnel software by the identification method based on the results of evaluating the input and output signals of the OP as a control object. The methodology of work is based on the concept of integrated quality management (TQM) and the process approach. The main categories of problems of the quality of education are considered and clustered to support the adoption of managerial decisions. The most important features of closed and open problems that need to be considered when making decisions are described. Recommendations were developed on the application of methods of direct and indirect approaches to the identification of quality problems. It has been shown that discussions in cross-functional groups provide, as a rule, the best results in identifying and resolving problems. The value of the study for the theory and practice of software consists in constructing an identification procedure to support the adoption of informed decisions when choosing actions to prevent the development of quality problems. The developed identification procedure can be applied in the software system, providing an acceptable level of satisfaction of the enterprise personnel with the quality of training.

This research was conducted to synthesize the process of implementing training based on needs which is limited to the identification process, the learning process, and the evaluation process. The study was conducted using the meta-synthesis method on seven manuscripts of research results on farmer training in several countries. The results of the synthesis show that (1) the need-based training needs identification process is carried out directly to the training participants, either by survey or oral interview, (2) training participants are also involved in designing the learning process, (3) in several countries evaluation is carried out before the training is carried out (pre-test) and after the training is completed (post-test), then using a survey to find out the extent of the participants' abilities, however, there is also an evaluation that is only carried out after the training is done by observing changes experienced by the training participants. The implications of these findings can be used as a reference for other trainings wishing to adopt the identification process, the learning process, and the evaluation process from several other countries.Keywords: needs-based training; identification of needs; learning process; evaluation process

This research article aimed to identify HR management training approaches that can enhance sustainable public service administration skills in Indonesia. The study reviewed the literature on HR management training approaches, including e-learning, job rotation, cross-functional teams, and performance management. The researcher may conduct a literature review focusing on the study's objectives, such as locating HR management training methods that improve Indonesia's sustainable public service administration skills. The literature review should be comprehensive, including current and pertinent publications. The research also explored the potential barriers to practical HR management training in Indonesia and the role of technology in HR management training. The findings of this study suggest that e-learning can provide cost-effective training opportunities, job rotation can enhance employees' skills and knowledge, cross-functional teams can facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration, and performance management can set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching. The study also highlights the need for further research to evaluate the effectiveness of different HR management training approaches, identify barriers to practical training, and explore the role of technology in HR management training.

The study examined the impact of training and development on job performance in the Banking sector in Uganda among the selected four banks of Equity Bank, Bank of Africa, Barclays Bank Uganda and Centenary Bank and specifically looked at the relationship between training needs identification, training methods, monitoring, evaluation of training and job performance in the banking sector in Uganda. The study used correlation research design to address the relationship between variables. The study involved managers, heads of departments at each bank and employees. Data was collected using questionnaires to facilitate quantitative approaches in the study. Data was analyzed at three levels that is; univerariate, bi-variate and multi-variate. Univeriate analysis fetched descriptive statistics in form frequencies and percentages while bivariate analysis obtained correlations between variables. At multivariate level a logistic regression model was used to ascertain the magnitude of effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. Study findings at a bi-variate level revealed a positive and significant relationship between the independent variables (identify training needs, identify training objectives, training content, on the job training technique, off the job training technique, skills application and Knowledge application) and the dependent variable (job performance). At the multi-variate level, it was revealed that all independent variables except knowledge application in the training and evaluation process explain 69% of job performance in the model. It was concluded that identification of training objectives, identification of training objectives and skills application have a positive significant effect on job performance in the banking sector in Uganda. It was therefore recommended that there is need to need to streamline the needs assessment process before the training process, endeavor to clearly define training objectives and have a strict monitoring and evaluation process on trainees.

The article describes the guidelines for the professional training of border guard inspectors to identify individuals and vehicles in the context of European integration. It is about the need to use information and communication technologies for the educational process and the study of a specific identification problem which requires a visual and multimedia presentation. Methodological recommendations also include great opportunities for studying the problems of identification by the computer training program «Wiek» for defining age-related changes by the appearance, the computer program «Trainer» for the identification of persons by the appearance; the use of training methods for the development of personal qualities necessary for identification realization; organization of trainings on additional special training for border guard personnel; training for professional communication with persons during the procedure of passport control of the first and second lines at checkpoints; game simulation educational, professional and life situations for identifying documents and conducting interviews of business games, etc. Axiological, operational, systemic and learner-centered approaches defined by the author as the most important ones for the formation of professional training of border guard inspectors. Qualitative training of border guard inspectors for the identification of persons and vehicles is possible subject to the principles of scientific accuracy, visual aspects, simplicity if training, as well as to the principles of an individual approach, dialogics and presence of problems.

There is no standardization of Indonesian language education and training for foreign workers (TKA), resulting in no training model that suits the needs of students. Therefore, this study aims to (1) describe the current condition of Indonesian language training for foreign workers by the Manpower Office; (2) identify Indonesian language training needs for foreign workers. The Ministry of Manpower has issued various regulations in this regard. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through a communicative approach. The communicative approach forms the basis of the training model that will be developed because their main goal in learning Indonesian is to be able to communicate in their work environment. The data collection techniques used were interviews, surveys, and literature studies. The subject of this study is data on foreign workers in the Kepulauan Riau Province. The results of the study reveal two findings. Firstly, an overview of the current condition of Indonesian language training for foreign workers by the Manpower Office. Secondly, ) the identification of Indonesian language training needs for foreign workers . the data indicates that there is no standard training format yet.

Structural cracks in concrete have a significant influence on structural safety, so it is necessary to detect and monitor concrete cracks. Deep learning is a powerful tool for detecting cracks in concrete structures. However, it requires a large quantity of training samples and is costly in terms of computational time. In order to solve these difficulties, a deep learning target detection framework combining texture features with concrete crack data is proposed. Texture features and pre-processed concrete data are merged to increase the number of feature channels in order to reduce the demand of training samples for the model and improve training speed. With this framework, concrete crack detection can be realized even with a limited number of samples. To accomplish this aim, self-made steel fiber reinforced concrete crack data is used for comparison between our framework and those without texture feature mergence or pre-processed concrete data. The experimental results show that the number of parameters that need to be fitted in the model training and training time can be correspondingly reduced and the detection accuracy can also be improved.

Abstract Objective The purpose of this poster is to present the results of a survey about perceived and real knowledge of federal regulations and policies required to evaluate, and provide services for, Hispanic children with Special Learning Disability (SLD). This work illustrates the relevance of getting education and training in law, policy, and ethics, for neuropsychologists evaluating and treating Hispanic children from diverse cultural backgrounds. Method The participants were 38 psychologists providing services to Hispanic children in Puerto Rico. The data were collected via an online survey distributed through professional email lists. The survey explored the professional's perception of their knowledge of federal laws and regulations and their educational needs in law training regarding special education regulations. The answers were analyzed using descriptive statistics as measures of central tendency (e.g. frequencies and means). Outcomes Around 52% of the responders indicated employment by the Department of Education to determine children’s eligibility for special education services. Thirty-seven percent mentioned not having knowledge of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act’s (IDEA) requirements when conducting evaluations. Around 20% were unsure of the extension of the law pertaining to the regulation of the definition, scope, and evaluation processes for diagnosis and eligibility of special education services for children with SLD. Finally, 79% of the surveyed professionals agreed that they need to be trained in law and policy to improve their practice. Discussion Hispanic children with special education needs are victims of disproportionate and inadequate access to services, while being vulnerable to other related inequities. To achieve cultural and social justice in neuropsychological practices, it is important to discuss the need of underlying educational training in law, policy, and ethics- areas that strictly regulate and determine the access to available resources for these minorities.

In their activity in schools - regardless of the years of teaching experience and the opportunities to practice teaching skills - teachers need to constantly improve their pedagogical competence. Working directly with the students leads to an observation of their evolution, from one generation to another, but at the same time to an identification of imprint that socio-cultural field's evolution puts on them and on their training needs in school. Teachers identify these wishes because, after all, the school must be connected to the demands of the social environment in which it operates. As a result, we believe that trainers need to recognize components of pedagogical competence and this fact will lead to a deeper awareness of skills they have to master, those they should develop or improve continuously in order to obtain visible formative achievements within the school, but also their professional identity. Our approach presents results of a focus group based on mapping main components of pedagogical competence. Therefore, present article emphasizes on importance of these skills; based on the results obtained through focus group conducted on teachers and pupils, we identify the main dimensions that compose pedagogical competence. In the end, we established ways to develop these competences integrating actions from teachers training programs.

The field of cardiorenal medicine is vast, rapidly expanding, and complex. Conventional nephrology training programs provide the fellows with the necessary core knowledge to provide general care for patients with renal and cardiovascular diseases. However, there is a need for focused training of interested physicians to master the specialized aspects of these exceedingly common clinical scenarios and optimize the care of such patients. A cardionephrology-focused training can add value to the nephrology subspecialty and potentially increase its attractiveness for a significant subset of trainees. Herein, we provide a proposal for the framework and content of such an educational activity. Creation of an international multidisciplinary workgroup to formulate a comprehensive curriculum for a dedicated cardionephrology track would be the first step. A variety of practical aspects such as implementation methods, the identification of the required skills, and the development of educational assessment tools are discussed. While this proposal primarily focuses on the integration of the curriculum into the training of nephrology fellows, it would also be appropriate (albeit in a modified and customized format) for a wider range of trainees, including cardiology fellows.

Training is a tool to increase production both vertically and horizontally through enhanced skills of the farmers. The focus of the study was to determine and describe the training need of the pineapple growers in a hilly area of Sylhet region and explores the relationship between the selected characteristics of growers and training need. Data were collected from randomly selected 75 pineapple growers out of 228 of three unions namely Sreemangal, Ashidron, and Sindhurkhan of Sreemangal upazila under Moulvibazar district using a pre-tested interview schedule from 1 September to 2 October 2020. Through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the growers, a total of 12 different aspects of pineapple cultivation were identified as inadequately skilled for modern pineapple cultivation. For quantification of training need, each respondent was asked to answer the extent of training need against each of those aspects. Results revealed that most of the pineapple growers (58.7%) had medium training need while 29.3% had high and only 12.0% had low training need. The top five training need aspects of pineapple cultivation were appropriate amount and time of fertilizer application, modern method of insect–pest identification and control, soil moisture conservation technique, and preventive measure of fruit sunburn. Correlation analysis indicated that age (-0.272*), educational (-0.526**), annual income (-0.269*), experience of pineapple cultivation (-0.455**), knowledge about pineapple cultivation (-0.807**), training received (-0.558**), and use of information source (-0.331**) were found negatively significant with their training need. Extension service providers should come forward to facilitate access of need-based information and skills to the pineapple growers or at least do their best alternative based on resource allocation for improvement of yield and production of pineapple in the hilly areas of Sylhet region.

The coconut farming sector in Sri Lanka has been facing many problems which eventually led to a decrease in production and profitability in coconut farming. The main reason for the decrease in production has been the non adoption of scientific technologies primarily due to the lack of technical knowledge of coconut growers on scientific cultivation practices. Hence, a study was undertaken to assess the technical knowledge and the level of adoption of management practices with a view to identify and prioritize the training needs of coconut growers’. Training needs of the growers were assessed using the Borich Needs Assessment Model. The identified training needs were filtered by quadrant analysis. The discrepancy score of grower’s and the coconut development officers’ of the three districts were used as the dimensions of the quadrant analysis. The training needs were identified under four categories namely, planting practices, fertilizer application practices, agronomy practices and pest management practices. The study revealed that the most knowledgeable aspect was the planting practices and the least knowledgeable was the pest management practices, as evidenced by higher level of adoption of planting practices and the least adoption of pest management practices. It was concluded from the study that the most desirable training need was on the pest management practices followed by fertilizer application practices in the coconut triangle of Sri Lanka.

The promotion of organic and ecological production seeks the sustainable and competitive growth of organic crops in countries like Peru. In this context, agro-exportation is characterized by-products such as fruit and vegetables where they need to comply with organic certification regulations to enter products into countries like the US, where it is necessary to certify that weed control is carried out using biodegradable materials, flames, heat, media electric or manual weeding, this being a problem for some productive organizations. The problem is related to the need to differentiate between the crop and the weed as described above, by having image recognition technology tools with Deep Learning. Therefore, the objective of this article is to demonstrate how an artificial intelligence model based on computer vision can contribute to the identification of weeds in basil plots. An iterative and incremental development methodology is used to build the system. In addition, this is complemented by a Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining methodology for the evaluation of computer vision models using tools such as YOLO and Python language for weed identification in basil crops. As a result of the work, various Artificial Intelligence algorithms based on neural networks have been identified considering the use of the YOLO tool, where the trained models have shown an efficiency of 69.70%, with 3 hours of training, observing that, if used longer training time, the neural network will get better results.

Army National Guard (ARNG) aviators must meet the same aviation training requirements as active Army aviators. During the past 10 years, the training requirements have increased significantly; yet, the amount of time allocated for ARNG aviators to meet the requirements has remained relatively constant. To determine if the aviators need additional allocated training time, a questionnaire survey was conducted. One objective of the survey was to identify the types of obstacles that interfere with the aviators' ability to meet the training requirements. The results indicate that five factors pose major problems to meeting the aviators' continuation training requirements. The factors are an Insufficient Number of Flight Hours, Unavailability of Instructor Pilots, Unavailability of Training Support Areas, Unavailability of Support Equipment, and an Insufficient Amount of Personal Time. The identification of time related obstacles supports the aviators' perceptions that additional training time is needed; however, the identification of obstacles that are not time related suggests that remedial actions, in addition to an increase in training time, can be taken.

Abstract In traditional deep Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based person re-identification (Re-ID) methods, there must be thousands of training samples with annotated information under the same data distribution, in other words, the data used to train the CNN model is collected from the same scene. However, if we need to deploy a trained Re-ID model at the airport, but the data for training the model is collected on campus, the traditional methods will suffer considerable performance degradation because the data come from different distributions. It is a non-trivial task to straightforwardly re-collect sufficient annotations from the new scene, due to the high cost of time and human labor. Therefore, the domain adaptation paradigm is used to resolve the data distribution problem. Specifically, an efficacious method for domain adaptive person Re-ID based on the teacher-student framework is proposed in our research. Our method has been evaluated by numerous experiments and proved its effectiveness.

Puberty represents the period in which athletes go through many changes from a physical, morpho-functional and psychological point of view. Also, in the age range between 13-14 years, the training of athletes registers a gradual increase in the volume and intensity of training, which determines special attention on the methods and means used during training. This study was carried out with the aim of identifying the level of development of the motor indices directly involved in the practice of the handball game. The research methods used during this study were: the method of analyzing specialized and interdisciplinary literature, the pedagogical observation method, the statistical-mathematical method and the tabular method. Following the study, we would like to emphasize the urgent need to update the performance scales specific to the game of handball and develop unitary training models, from the perspective of the content of the training process for each age group.

Background This study examined the need for improved training in the identification and management of free flap (FF) compromise and assessed a potential role for simulated scenario training. Methods Online needs assessment surveys were completed by plastic surgeons and a subsample with expertise in microsurgery education participated in focus groups. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and mixed qualitative methods. Results In this study, 77 surgeons completed surveys and 11 experts participated in one of two focus groups. Forty-nine (64%) participants were educators, 65 and 45% of which reported having an insufficient volume of FF cases to adequately teach the management and identification of compromise, respectively. Forty-three percent of educators felt that graduating residents are not adequately prepared to manage FF compromise independently. Exposure to normal and abnormal FF cases was felt to be critical for effective training by focus group participants. Experts identified low failure rates, communication issues, and challenging teaching conditions as current barriers to training. Most educators (74%) felt that simulated scenario training would be “very useful” or “extremely useful” to current residents. Focus groups highlighted the need for a widely accepted algorithm for re-exploration and salvage on which to base the development of a training adjunct consisting of simulated scenarios. Conclusion Trainee exposure to FF compromise is inadequate in existing plastic surgery programs. Early exposure, high case volume, and a standardized algorithmic approach to management with a focus on decision making may improve training. Simulated scenario training may be valuable in addressing current barriers.

There has been research on the use of many CNN models for weed identification. This paper presents a classification model to distinguish between weed and crop images and it classifies 12 species of weeds and crops. The proposed model achieves 96.45% of accuracy during training and of 90.08% during validation and testing.

Educational assessment applications, as well as other natural-language interfaces, need some mechanism for validating user responses. If the input provided to the system is infelicitous or uncooperative, the proper response may be to simply reject it, to route it to a bin for special processing, or to ask the user to modify the input. If problematic user input is instead handled as if it were the system's normal input, this may degrade users' confidence in the software, or suggest ways in which they might try to “game” the system. Our specific task in this domain is the identification of student essays which are “off-topic”, or not written to the test question topic. Identification of off-topic essays is of great importance for the commercial essay evaluation system CriterionSM. The previous methods used for this task required 200–300 human scored essays for training purposes. However, there are situations in which no essays are available for training, such as when users (teachers) wish to spontaneously write a new topic for their students. For these kinds of cases, we need a system that works reliably without training data. This paper describes an algorithm that detects when a student's essay is off-topic without requiring a set of topic-specific essays for training. This new system is comparable in performance to previous models which require topic-specific essays for training, and provides more detailed information about the way in which an essay diverges from the requested essay topic.

There is a need for adequate training and education in preparing them to enquire into domestic abuse accurately and safely. The aim of this review was to explore preparation for enquiring into domestic abuse; and data was collected using semi-structured interviews with health visitors. There is a need for a better quality and culturally competent training and education package, alongside the creation of materials for health visitors to use to carry out this assessment and take appropriate action. We conclude that there is a lack of high-quality, interprofessional and interactive training and education offered to health visitors in Scotland, which affects the health visiting role and performance.

Horticulture extension personnel (Horticulture Development Officers and Horticulture Technicians) occupy the focal position in transfer of technologies to the orchardists in Jammu and Kashmir. Given this a study entitled “Training needs of horticulture extension personnel in Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir” was undertaken. Data was collected from 200 horticulture extension personnel (30 horticulture development officers and 170 horticulture technicians) working at gross root level in all ten districts of Jammu region. Training need important score was categories in to three categories viz. least important, important, most important by using mean ± S.D technique. The finding reveals that horticulture development officer and horticulture technicians’ categories Pests /disease identification and their control measures as most important training areas in technical skills where time and methods of planting was placed as least important. Similarly in case of communication skills demonstration technique was rated highest important training need area and script writing as least important. Motivation technique and programme planning were also categories as most important training need areas of supervisory skills by horticulture development officers. Two factors viz. trainings attended and information utilization sources were significantly affecting the training needs of horticulture extension personnel.

Technical ear training has proven to be an effective tool for developing the skills of junior audio engineers and enhancing their proficiency in audio and music production. To provide a comprehensive auditory training experience, the authors have created a gamified training program that encompasses four modules: spectral identification, auditory localization, consistent judgment, and memory of a mix balance. Each module is designed to give trainees closed-loop audiomotor training, allowing them to instantly assess their performance and identify areas where they need to improve. This new ear-training game helped players to be more engaged and resulted in the improvement of trained audio engineering skills. Moreover, the game also benefited a non-trained auditory skill, speech understanding in noise.

This study examined CSR being perceived by the participants, where the perception influences trust and affective identification that will ultimately have an impact on intention. Intention means a reaction to attend the training which one matching with what the participants need. CSR activities do not only aim to fulfil the responsibility, but the company sincerely provides training to improve the quality of community life. The rresearch uses smartPLS 3.0. and a total of 100 respondents. The results of this study showed a significant relationship between perceived CSR to the trust as well as affective identification. Trust and affective identification showed a successful mediator between perceived CSR and intention.

The training needs of rice growers in Punjab, Pakistan were assessed regarding the production technology used in growing rice. Total 332 rice growers were selected through random sampling technique from tehsil Nowshera Virkan, district Gujranwala and interviewed accordingly through a face-to-face interview technique. Data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Findings indicated that farmers had adequate awareness about the weeds and their management. The demonstration was the most effective technique as used by the extension field staff to create awareness among farmers about weeds management. Social media and electronic media use were appeared least effective. This indicates that farmers were more convenient with the traditional technique of creating awareness. Regarding training needs, Rice farmers had maximum training needs regarding chemical control and identification of rice weeds. Resourceful, cost-effective, and timely weed management options are pivotal to making rice crop profitable. Thus, Agriculture Department, Punjab should be aimed at empowering the rice farmers technically, to train them through both conventional approaches (i.e. demonstration plots) and technology-led approaches (i.e. Information Communication Technologies (ICTs), social media and electronic media).

The article analyses current problems of ecotourism development in Severobaikal region and studies the perspectives of tourist-recreational complex foundation. The creation of special economic zones will undoubtedly require the development and implementation of strategic plan related to personnel education and training with the participation of national and foreign experts and specialized companies, taking into account marketing research and poll results. To ensure the realization of Russian governmental tasks there has been created a pilot program of linguistic training for hospitality and tourism staff basing in the Centre of linguistic support for eco-touristic education development. This program has been developed within the framework of current requirements concerning foreign languages teaching, tendencies of permanent lingual education and in the context of hospitality industry professional standards requirements. Considering new touristic routes creation, closely connected with the interregional project “Big Baikal path” and high level of tourist-recreational attractiveness of region, for promotion of small cities in Baikal region, demand for highly-qualified specialists for the hospitality and tourism sectors will grow. The identification of necessary competencies for each working unit will allow to develop lingua-didactic base including practical tasks which are obligatory for the personnel universal education. Moreover the methods and assessment forms in the framework of each competency will play an integral part in the creation of one algorithm as a main component of the educational process. Thus the abovementioned educational algorithm will serve as a dynamic factor of higher professional education and the system of advanced personnel training.

The article considers the problem of training teachers for the implementation of inclusive education. It can be stated that modern educational institutions need specialists who carry out inclusive practices, are able to accept a child with disabilities, ready for the timely identification of this category of children, and the organization of various forms and types of assistance to them, taking into account individual and personal characteristics. The model of psychological and pedagogical support of inclusive education teachers on the formation of specialist’s professionally important qualities is presented and described. Thus, the training of such specialists is possible through the implementation of the described model, which assumes a holistic educational strategy and tactics aimed at personifying the future teacher’s training, teacher’s retraining as the subject of activity within the framework of inclusive education.

The characteristic of the drift error of inertial platform is a high-order nonlinear dynamic system, using the neural networks’ abilities of universal approximation of differentiable trajectory and capturing system dynamic information, this paper presents the drift error identifying project of inertial platform based on Elman networks structure. First, the drift error model of inertial platform is established, after selecting the input and output for network, momentum and alterable speed algorithm is used to speed up the network convergence. On the basis of the algorithm, the extended nonlinear node function in the hidden network does not only improve the learning speed of network, but also satisfies the need of accuracy on system identification. Through the drift error data measured on inertial platform, the training result shows that the scheme achieves satisfied identification results.

Research highlights the need for systematic law enforcement training on nonfatal strangulation in domestic violence situations to improve evidence-based prosecution of these violent felonies. However, most of this research focuses on the role of police officers in the safety response. Although often overlooked, this research examines the role of 911 dispatchers, who are many times the first person the victim calls for assistance. This study examines official domestic violence records, gathered through a partnership with a County Sheriff’s agency, to determine whether domestic violence strangulation is being adequately identified and documented by first responders. This research highlights the need for considering 911 dispatchers as having a potentially critical role in a comprehensive response to domestic violence strangulation from initial screening to eventual prosecution.

Computer vision wood identification (CVWID) has focused on laboratory studies reporting consistently high model accuracies with greatly varying input data quality, data hygiene, and wood identification expertise. Employing examples from published literature, we demonstrate that the highly optimistic model performance in prior works may be attributed to evaluating the wrong functionality—wood specimen identification rather than the desired wood species or genus identification—using limited datasets with data hygiene practices that violate the requirement of clear separation between training and evaluation data. Given the lack of a rigorous framework for a valid methodology and its objective evaluation, we present a set of minimal baseline quality standards for performing and reporting CVWID research and development that can enable valid, objective, and fair evaluation of current and future developments in this rapidly developing field. To elucidate the quality standards, we present a critical revisitation of a prior CVWID study of North American ring-porous woods and an exemplar study incorporating best practices on a new dataset covering the same set of woods. The proposed baseline quality standards can help translate models with high in silico performance to field-operational CVWID systems and allow stakeholders in research, industry, and government to make informed, evidence-based modality-agnostic decisions.

Outcomes of the implementation project and implications for school nurses are discussed.

The paper focuses on the technological needs in Indian aircraft maintenance training sector towards reducing the human errors and to enhance the maintenance reliability. An overview of Indian MRO s’ skill requirements and the immediate necessity to improve the standards in maintenance human factors and technology based training is elaborated. The existing level of Indian AMT training in comparison to international standards are discussed to spot the areas with scope of improvement and the weak link in existing process. Need of maintenance training with intense knowledge and practical exposure can downturn maintenance errors and aid in cutting cost of the maintenance expenditure by increasing reliability were discussed. Impact of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), in augmenting current maintenance performance and its importance in terms of efficient operation and Labour maintenance were reviewed. Technology identification to address the need for improvement in traditional training, using the applications of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in maintenance training would equip the Aircraft Maintenance Trainees (AMT’s) with complete knowledge and practice were analysed. This view point can be a thought provoking research to evaluate a right road map for improving the current Indian aircraft maintenance training sector to global standards resulting in optimising the state of India’s MRO self-reliance ability.

Background/Aims The need for holistic support to address the psychosocial impact of cancer has featured in NHS recommendations since 2004. This article describes the review, rewrite and evaluation of the North Central and North East London region ‘level 2’ psychological support skills training for oncology clinical nurse specialists. Methods The review was conducted in 2016–18; the new training package was then rolled out and evaluated in 2018–19. The re-written training includes models of individualised assessment based on psychological theory, including adjustment and adaptation. It also includes self-care exercises, providing experiential learning for the dual purpose of self-care and as potential material to teach to patients as level 2 interventions. The new training model requires follow-up attendance in clinical discussion groups to consolidate knowledge and skills development. In total, 135 clinical nurse specialists attended over an 18-month period. The evaluation involved pre- and post-training questionnaires. Results Evaluation suggests the new training is valued by clinical nurse specialists, is pitched at the right level and increases clinical nurse specialists' subjective ratings of confidence and identification of psychological need, onward referral and self-care. Conclusions The new package provides a useful development of the level 2 training model. Future plans are discussed.

For graduates in computer science and informatics to get employment as IT professionals, there is a need for their education to provide the competence sought after by employers being aligned with the discipline. To become fully operational in the organization, the candidates typically also need to further develop their competence there, engaging in activities, and becoming familiar with the practices in the company. For a university offering master’s degrees in computer science and informatics, it is important to know the employers’ view of the relevance of the study programs and what is possibly considered to be lacking. Also, it is essential to know whether the missing part needed to become fully operational should be provided by the university. In this paper, we investigate these questions by asking employers of master students in IT. We use the framework of modes of identification by Wenger-Trayner and Wenger-Trayner to find out if the graduates are aligned with the discipline, engaged in activities, and able to imagine their future in an IT-position. A combination of in-depth interviews and a survey is used. Analysis of the findings shows that employers overall find the candidates’ competence from the university to be adequate. We argue that collaboration between university and industry is essential to this success, pointing to a set of key steps in the process from entering a study program to becoming fully operational in work life.

When conducting usability validation testing, representative users must use the device in the expected conditions of use in the field. There is usually a period of time—days or weeks—between the point in time a user is trained, and the moment they use the device for the first time. For this reason, the FDA acknowledges the need for “training decay” as part of usability validation testing, but manufacturers face challenges simulating real-time decays. In response to challenges associated with lags of days or weeks between training and usability validation testing, medical device manufacturers typically simulate shortened training decay periods. This paper discusses the theory behind the shapes of various training decay curves and the variables that drive differences between training decay curves. The author proposes to use a task-based approach for defining training decay curves in usability validation studies and sets out generalized training decay curves at a high level. Future research could reveal detailed and generalizable training decay curves. Identifying generalizable training decay curves could standardize the usability testing required for medical devices, and ultimately improve use error identification while avoiding an undue toll on manufacturer resources.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to identify the technical skills that are necessary for competency as a facility engineering technician (FET) in the healthcare built environment. The Delphi method was used to draw upon the knowledge and experience of healthcare facility engineering managers and technicians to identify and prioritize baseline technical skills, as well as to identify proficiency levels for the skills. A total of 73 skills were identified as necessary for healthcare FET baseline competency including areas of wood, plastic, and composite; flooring; doors; plaster and gypsum board; mechanical support; fire support; plumbing; electrical; and safety and compliance. Of these 73 skills, 35 were deemed key with strong agreement consensus. Successfully recruiting, training, and maintaining a competent FET workforce is essential but challenging for healthcare organizations, in part because of the lack of formal education programs and an unclear path of entry into the profession. The results of this research are valuable in that they can be used to develop training for the healthcare FET workforce. Trainers can use the findings of this research when developing curriculum and determining which skills to emphasize. Healthcare organizations can use the findings to assess current capabilities across staff, to determine whether there are gaps in needed skills and to begin developing strategic programs in response to the challenges of attracting and retaining competent FETs. This research suggests other types of jobs need to be examined to move toward developing a more complete understanding of the skills and capabilities necessary for the spectrum of the facility engineering workforce (from technical to managerial) to address attrition, recruitment, retention, and succession challenges.
