Streszczenie:
It is undeniable that the death of biological parents can affect the emotional development of children. The purpose of this study is to reveal the reality of the emotional development of orphaned adolescents at the Dorkas Sidoarjo Orphanage. To answer the purpose of the author uses a literature study research method in a phenomenological perspective. The findings of this study there are two factors that influence the emotional development of adolescents. The internal factor is the age when teenagers face the death of one or both of their parents, which greatly affects their emotional development: feelings of worthlessness, anxiety and depression arise and some even fall into juvenile delinquency who deal with the police. The external factor is spiritual development and is also supported by a conducive atmosphere full of kinship in the orphanage which has a positive impact on emotional development.

In order to improve the basketball theory and provide theoretical and intellectual support for the scientific, mental health, and sustainable development of basketball, we propose to take the development dynamic mechanism of juvenile basketball as the research object and make a systematic and in-depth study on the dynamic mechanism, the cultivation of Chinese and foreign juvenile basketball reserve talents, and the dynamic dilemma and influencing factors of juvenile campus basketball development by using the methods of literature, questionnaire, and expert interview. A method of cultivating the ring tone of juvenile basketball is proposed. This method is based on Chan algorithm. When the target is close to each base station, the first estimation also needs an initial value to solve the initial solution estimation matrix. The method is also based on multivariate Taylor algorithm, taking into account the measured distance between the targets to be measured, so it will get some useful information, which will improve the positioning accuracy. The experimental results show that the accuracy of the algorithm used in this paper is more than 85%. However, the accuracy of rebounding and passing recognition and prediction is low. The recognition accuracy and prediction accuracy of the test set are slightly lower than that of the effective set, which shows that the performance of the target detection system model in this paper can be further improved through more significant training examples. It is proved that the algorithm based on Taylor ring can meet the needs of teenagers in the basketball coordination and mental health.

AbstractIntroduction. The number of children and adolescents hospitalized due to suicide attempts caused by stress, low self-esteem, lack of acceptance and peer violence, as well as family problems, increases every year. In addition, there may occur disturbed self-perception or depression. This is a very complex phenomenon, the scale of which should induce immediate multidimensional activities.Aim. Analysis of the occurrence of suicide attempts among minors on the example of the city of Lublin.Material and methods. The statistical data obtained from the Polish Police Headquarter and from the report of the Foundation We Give Children Strength – “Children count 2017” was analyzed and a review of the literature on the subject for the years 2014-2018 developed using the descriptive method was made.Results. The report of the Foundation We Give Children Strength shows a huge scale of the phenomenon. According to its data, as many as 72% of children aged 11-17 have experienced at least one form of abuse in their lives, 7% of respondents have attempted suicide, and 16% of teenagers have mutilated themselves. The statistics conducted in Poland in 2017-2018 recorded: in 2017 the number of 116, and in 2018 – 97 suicide attempts ended in death. There were 5 deaths in 2017 and 9 in 2018 in Lubelskie Voivodeship, what shows an increase by 80% in 12 months. In the 7-12 age group in 2017, only one suicide attempt ended up in death was reported, in 2018 the number increased to 5 – none of them concerned the Lublin Province.Conclusions. Suicide attempts ending up in death in 2018 accounted for 2.30% of suicide attempts undertaken in Lublin, while in Poland they constituted 1.87%. The main reasons for suicide attempts among minors are: the lack of acceptance, low self-esteem and peer violence, both physical and mental. Mass media have an influence on juvenile suicides. Belief in “multiple lives” perpetuated by computer games and films can have an impact on suicide attempts.

Lunatomalacia or avascular necrosis of the lunate in children is a rare disease not described by Kienböck. It is somewhat surprising that the term Kienböck’s disease has been used to describe this disease of the lunate in children. We report our experience in 13 cases and review the literature. In children under 12, the prognosis is very good after immobilization alone. Persistent symptoms may indicate surgery, probably radial shortening, in some older teenagers although the outcome appears better than in adults. We suggest the term lunatomalacia to describe this disorder, in recognition of the term originally used by Kienböck.

In today's Alpha era, teenagers often forget their role as the next generation of the Indonesian nation. Adolescence is a transition period from child to adult. This time the cause of Indonesian juvenile delinquency greatly increased. One of the attitudes that adolescents should have is knowledge of the ethical values passed down by their ancestors. Social changes and value shifts have affected the development of adolescents, causing the old culture to be left behind due to the emergence of a new culture in the Alpha era. Bullying is everywhere, physical violence against society is carried out by teenagers, bullying, and so on. One of the consequences of social change that causes juvenile delinquency to increase is the shift, the fall of adolescents into deviant behavior that is not by normal values and rules of society. Conditions like this are likely to spread generation as Juvenile Delinquency degrades mental health. One of the factors of juvenile delinquency that causes mental health to decline when bullying is considered right by some adolescents, is weakened moral degradation and reduced family functions and the role of family, and society in fostering adolescents. When the function of these related parties is weakened, there will be disability of adolescents in acting. The purpose of this research is to examine Juvenile Delinquency or juvenile delinquency which causes a decrease in mental health. The method in this research is a literature study (study research), namely collecting various sources and information that can examine juvenile delinquency that causes a decrease in mental health.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, unemployment increased to 9.77 million. Youth competition in the world of work will be more challenging if they do not have soft and hard skills. Teenagers who grow up in an environment with complex social problems such as Tikungbaru, where poverty, crime, and juvenile delinquency rates are high, actually need it. Teenagers need self-awareness to select the right career. The purpose of the research was to determine the "Hello, Me!" by searching for interests and talents to increase teenagers' self-awareness. The research method uses an experimental pre-post test design with teenagers aged 12-13 years in RW 08 Tikungbaru. The intervention is the "Hello, Me!" program in tracking interests and talents through CFIT and RMIB, self-awareness training, and group counselling. The data collection uses a self-awareness scale before and after the program. Data analysis used the Parametric Paired-Samples T-test. The results show that sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 0.05 means a significant difference in self-awareness in teenagers before and after the program. The conclusion is that "Hello, Me!" can increase teenagers' self-awareness in Tikungbaru. This research can provide literature references and program solutions to increase teenagers' self-awareness.

Streszczenie:
Adolescence – that tricky time when children have not yet reached adulthood – is a time of much disturbance, change and growth. Faced with a body that changes, stretches and grows in all directions, as does the mind, the adolescent finds that they are not who they once were, and that their concerns are not what they once were. According to David Punter, the nature of adolescence is integral to Gothic writing; for him, adolescence can be seen as a time when there is a fantasised inversion of boundaries: ‘where what is inside finds itself outside (acne, menstrual blood, rage) and what we think should be visibly outside (heroic dreams, attractiveness, sexual organs) remain resolutely inside and hidden’ (Punter 1998, 6). However, this is to ‘Gothicise’ adolescents - to view adolescents themselves as Gothic beings – rather than to understand what the true nature of their concerns and fears really are. This thesis intends to investigate, therefore, those fears and concerns as they are represented through the medium of Gothic texts written for adolescents. I propose to examine what happens to the Gothic mode in the gap between young children’s literature and adult fiction and will look at, through the Gothic lens, Young Adult literature which explores the teenager's relationships with issues such as sex, death and autonomy. As the Gothic is ‘erotic at root’ (Punter 1996, 191) and often focused on the centrality of sexuality, I explore the nature of ‘changing bodies’ and consider the adolescent’s burgeoning sexuality and desire for romantic relationships; however, the Gothic is not just about sex, and I also examine adolescent engagement with the concept of death, before finally going on to study issues of adolescent power and autonomy.

Streszczenie:
This thesis is a study of the representations of mothers and mother figures as found in five contemporary (published between 1984 and 1999) novels for teenagers. The focus is on western constructions of motherhood, as both normalising and universalising discourses. Utilising a variety of critical approaches this thesis examines the socio-cultural issues present in the novels in conjunction with western models of maternity. This study argues the category of mother is interdependent upon the category of child. As children's literature often focuses on the development of the child, the mother figures are often read as the “unconscious” of the texts. I examine the extent to which the mother figures are given a "subject-in-processness" (Lucas, 1998, p.39) subjectivity. The texts considered are The Changeover(First published in 1984) by Margaret Mahy; Greylands (1997) by lsobelle Carmody; Speaking to Miranda (First published in 1990) by Caroline Macdonald: Touching earth lightly (1996) by Margo Lanagan and Closed, Stanger(1999) by Kate De Goldi. In part, the selection of the texts has been based upon the various and multifaceted relationships between the mothers and the children. I use the Mahy text as a means to establish selected mother and, to a lesser degree, child characteristics. Some comparisons are made with this sole text of the 19805, in order to ascertain if there has been an evolution in the articulation of mother, figures in the 1990s. This study does not adopt a survey approach nor does it claim that the five novels present all the categories of "mother". Rather it addresses categories such as, mother as nurturer, as sexual being and, importantly, the dichotomy of the “good/bad" mother. Within western discourses of maternity, this latter category is still used as a model by which to label women who mother. This study considers the stability of this binary within the novels. This thesis relies upon close reading of the primary texts. The emphasis is on critical approaches that draw attention to contexts, with particular emphasis on the socio-cultural issues present in each particular novel. My readings suggest that there is the possibility for engagement with the texts' social content/comment, in conjunction with the representations of western models of maternity. I draw from a variety of motherhood discourses and theoretical approaches, including amongst others, the work of Luce Irigaray, HeIene Cixous, Judith Hennan, Martha Fineman, Rose Lucas, and Robyn McCallum.

The purpose of this research is to explore whether the attitude toward death of juvenile homicides differs from the attitude of teenagers who have never committed any crime. The research samples are 2,018 teenagers, including 1,070 criminal teenagers selected from Tao-Yuan Reformatory, Zhang-Hua Reformatory, Xin-Zhu Cheng-Zheng High School and Kao-Xiong Ming-Yang rectifying school; 948 normal teenagers selected from Xin-Zhu, Tao-Yuan, Tai-Zhong and Jia-Yi Junior and Senior High School. Testing on these 2018 teenagers, we got the valid samples of 160 juvenile homicides and 682 teenagers who have never committed crime. Following is our findings: 1. Compared by the number of those who lose their father, juvenile homicides are 6 times more than teenagers who have no criminal record ; while the number of whose mother have died are 5 times more. 2. Juvenile homicides care more about death. However, they concern more about their “own” death. They don’t show clear difference in the feeling on their family members’ death. 3. Juvenile homicides don’t appear to fear death more. But they do worry more about their own death, and they tend to believe death is an agonizing experience like a nightmare. 4. Juvenile homicides show no clear difference in their acceptance of death. But it’s more difficult for them to accept the fact that “Death is inevitable” “People all die one day.” They talk with others about death more often. 5. Juvenile homicides have higher tendency toward death. Juvenile homicides don’t mind dying now. They view death as being released from this world. They think death is a tragical and romantic experience. When they watch the scenes of killing on TV or movie, they get excited more easily than other teenagers and more easily the scenes arouse their intention to kill themselves or somebody they hate. 6. Juvenile homicides tend to believe in the world after death, even the possibility or immorality. Higher rates of them are willing to die young or die at the beginning of their lives. When juvenile homicides think of their own death, they feel melancholy and sad strongly, while teenagers who have never committed crime feel released and view death as end of lives mainly. Most juvenile homicides consider the lives of serious cases should be maintained while the other group believe this depend on the patients’ age, mental and physical situation and the extent of pain. 7. For both the sample group, those who have religious belief fear more about death. Juvenile homicides whose families talk about death openly have higher tendency and concern about death. For the other group, whose families talked about death openly are less afraid of death. Their tendency and concern toward death are higher. Among normal teenagers, those who have visited serious patients and those who lose their fathers concern more about death. Those whose health situation is worse have higher tendency and concern toward death. According to this research, we propose the following suggestions: 1. For family and social organization: Pay more attention to teenagers who lose their parent. 2. For education organization: Reinforce life education. 3. For rectifying organization: Use the influence of religion to prevent teenagers from killing themselves and others. 4. For society: Strengthen on clearing the media, hoping to help teenagers learn treasuring their lives and lives of others, hence reduce juvenile killing and violent crime.

Children experience life crisis and normal developmental problems. This study is aimed at highlighting the role fiction can play in assisting children in coping with certain normal life crisis and developmental problems. A discussion on the nature of the bibliotherapeutic process indicated that fiction plays a major role in the success thereof. A model was designed for the selection process of fiction for the bibliotherapeutic process. Selection criteria were established for both the reader and the reading matter. Tables were designed consisting of selection criteria for both the reader and the reading matter. Stories about life crisis relating to death and divorce, as well as normal developmental problems about fear of peer group rejection and fear of the acquirement of skills, were evaluated against these criteria. This indicates that it is possible to select the right book for the bibliotherapeutic process with children.
