“Literature is the teacher of ethics” (Temkov). If one assumes that literature reflects life, then it only serves to pedagogically illustrate classic questions: how one should behave towards one’s fellow human beings, what virtue and vice are, how conflicts arise and how they are to be solved and which are the highest goods are in life. However, literature itself teaches us much more: it touches delicate issues that no other medium would dare to do. Only literary works can delicately, profoundly and provocative handle questions like love, war, guilt, (un)justice. The modern moral standards would not allow Lolita, Tadzio, or Törleß. New theories of literature and ethics focus on the reading process because ‘literary fiction debates norms and values’. In this paper, the attempt has been made to acknowledge the value of theme diversity in literature in order to broaden the limits of moral dilemmas, but also to discuss the cultural influence, as well as the role of the narrative, author and reader in the comprehension of ethical questions. Bernhard Schlink’s “The Reader” and Peter Handke`s “Winter Journey” are only the tip of the iceberg concerning a much broader topic realm.

This article was inspired by the special way that the congregation did in practicing the dhikr of Asmaul Husna. This study aims to determine the effect of the dhikr of Asmaul Huna for the congregation of the At-Tadzkir Ta'lim Council, as well as the understanding of the congregation of the dhikr. At the same time, to find out the features contained in the dhikr of Asmaul Husna, so that the assembly members are motivated to practice it. This type of research is field research. Sources of data used are primary data sources and secondary data. Primary data are interviews with active worshipers in weekly studies at the at-tadzkir ta'lim assembly. As for secondary data, namely supporting primary data literature, this data relates to other parties or sources such as books, magazines, journals, articles, theses, internet, and research results. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the dhikr of Asmaul Husna can provide changes for those who practice it. Dhikr Asmaul Husna has been around for a long time, but not many people practice it directly. Therefore, the congregation of the at-tadzkir ta'lim assemblies practice it and tend to never leave it to get the virtue and blessing of the dhikr.

This research is a library research whose data is through library sources, namely library research through library research. The study of literature (library research) is closely related to theoretical studies and other references related to the relevance of the use of the Koran in sharia economic reviews. The contents of the Qur'an are creed, worship, morals, law, warning/tadzkir, history or stories and signs for those who carry science and technology. The language style of the Qur'an in conveying the law is not burdensome or troublesome, does not add to the burden/demand and is gradual in ordering something. Qath'i and Zhanni are quite complicated discussions among Ushuliyun or ushul fiqh scholars when dealing with the force of law (hujjah a proposition). We can understand the position of the Qur'an as a source of law from the views of the imams of the four schools of thought, namely Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik, Imam Shafi'i, and Imam Ahmad Ibn Hambal.

<p class="15bIsiAbstractBInggris">The main emphasis of education in Indonesia is still more on the cognitive process, and less on the morals and character of students. Thus, there are still many students who have bad morals in their lives. This study aims to analyse moral education extracted from the Book of Tazkiyatun Nafsi by Ibn Taymiyyah. The method used in this research is qualitative with a literature study approach and primary data sourced from the book Tazkiyatun Nafsi by Ibn Taymiyyah. The results of the study revealed that Ibn Taimiyah's concept of moral education was born as a form of response to the state of faith and morals of the local community at that time, where the community at that time was increasingly damaged and destroyed. The scope of moral education in the book of Tazkiyatun Nafsi Ibn Taimiyah includes the material of sincerity, piety, amar makruf nahi mungkar, shame, noble and generous, repentance, praise and gratitude, honesty, patience, iffah, jealousy, prayer, khosyah, at-tadzkir, husnudzon (being kind), tawaddhu (humble), tawakkal, obedience, and ridha.</p><p class="15cKeywordsBInggris"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p class="16bIsiAbstrak">Titik berat pendidikan di Indonesia masih lebih banyak menekankan pada proses kognitif, dan kurang memperhitungkan akhlak dan budi pekerti siswa. Sehingga, masih banyak siswa yang memiliki akhlak yang tidak baik dalam kehidupannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendidikan akhlak yang digali dari Kitab Tazkiyatun Nafsi Karya Ibnu Taimiyah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka dan data primer yang bersumber dari kitab Tazkiyatun Nafsi karangan Ibnu Taimiyah. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa konsep pendidikan akhlak Ibnu Taimiyah lahir sebagai bentuk respons keadaan akidah dan akhlak masyarakat setempat pada waktu itu, di mana masyarakat pada saat itu akhlaknya yang semakin rusak dan hancur. Ruang lingkup pendidikan akhlak dalam kitab Tazkiyatun Nafsi Ibnu Taimiyah mencakup materi ikhlas, takwa, amar makruf nahi mungkar, malu, mulia dan dermawan, taubat, pujian dan syukur, jujur, sabar, iffah, rasa cemburu, doa, khosyah, at-tadzkir, husnudzon (berbaik sangka), tawaddhu (rendah hati), tawakkal, taat, dan ridha.</p>

In fact, the Al-Qur’an sentence, although in accordance with the rules of Arabic grammar, there are differences the over rules, because the Al-Qur’an sentence contains information that is charming, detail and beautiful. Then, the different setting of sentences has the purpose and aim with the rules of Arabic. The sentence has a holy meaning and includes the Rabbani secret is a new sentence arrangement that has never been known in Arabic. And some Muslims collapse the rules between Arabic and Qur’an language, and what is different from understanding Arabic is considered a mistake, sometimes some Muslims misunderstand that in the arrangement of the Qur’an sentence there are language problems. From the information above, the author tries to explain some of the secrets and hidden wisdom behind this problem. Based on this background, researchers tried to examine the problem of language in the Qur›an which was discussed with semantic studies. To obtain scientific data, researchers used the literatures method with primary data sources in the form of several literatures and books such as the interpretation of Al-Zamakhsyari or Al-Alusi. Secondary data is data that supports primary data. The data of this study were obtained by descriptive method, namely collecting and analyzing related data sources which were followed up with analytical methods by analyzing data, examined through a semantic approach, namely the meaning of the language approach. The results of this discussion discuss four aspects of the problem in the Qur›an, namely the uncontinuity between ma’thuf and ma’thuf alaihi, between ifrod, tasniyah, and jama ‘, between na’at and man’ut, and ta’nis al-mudzakkar and tadzkir al-muannas, these problems basically do not violate the rules of language or Arabic grammar, and the Ulama ‘Qur’an has explained in detail the wisdom of the structure of the text, and precisely because of the characteristics of the I’jaz the Qur’an can not only be understood from the grammatical aspect.

This study aims to determine 1) Professional Competence of teachers at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency. 2) The level of work effectiveness of teachers at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency. 3) Teacher Performance at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency. 4) The Effect of Professional Competence on Teacher Performance at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency. 5) The Effect of Work Effectiveness on Teacher Performance at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency. 6) Effect of Professional Competence and Work Effectiveness on Teacher Performance at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency. The type of research used is quantitative with descriptive and verification analysis methods. In operating the calculations using the SPSS 25.0 program. The variables in this study are Professional Competence, Work Effectiveness and Teacher Performance. Collecting data obtained through questionnaires, documentation, and literature study. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. Respondents of this study were teachers at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency, amounting to 30 people.The results of this study conclude that: 1) Professional competence of teachers at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency is in the high category. 2) The work effectiveness of teachers at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency is in the high category. 3) Teacher performance at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency is in the high category. 4) Professional competence partially has a significant effect on teacher performance at SMP IT At-Tadzkir, Majalengka Regency. 5) Work effectiveness partially has a significant effect on teacher performance at SMP IT At-Tadzkir, Majalengka Regency. 6) Professional Competence and Work Effectiveness simultaneously have a significant effect on Teacher Performance at SMP IT At-Tadzkir, Majalengka Regency. It can be said that there is an influence between Professional Competence and Work Effectiveness on Teacher Performance at SMP IT At-Tadzkir Majalengka Regency. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Kompetensi Profesional guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka. 2) Tingkat Efektivitas Kerja guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka. 3) Kinerja Guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka. 4) Pengaruh Kompetensi Profesional terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka. 5) Pengaruh Efektivitas Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka. 6) Pengaruh Kompetensi Profesional dan Efektivitas Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka. Variabel dalam penelitian ini Kompetensi Profesional, Efektivitas Kerja dan Kinerja Guru. Pengumpulan data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Teknik penarikan sampel adalah sampling jenuh. Responden penelitian ini adalah guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) Kompetensi Profesional guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka termasuk kategori tinggi. 2) Efektivitas Kerja guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka termasuk kategori tinggi. 3) Kinerja guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka termasuk kategori tinggi. 4) Kompetensi Profesional secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka. 5) Efektivitas Kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka. 6) Kompetensi Profesional dan Efektivitas Kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara Kompetensi Profesional dan Efektivitas Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMP IT At-Tadzkir Kabupaten Majalengka.

Bullying behavior in schools has been going on for a long time and is still growing today. The purpose of writing this article is to discuss bullying behavior in schools in the perspective of Islamic Psychology. The method used in this writing is the study of libraries by taking literature from the Quran and Hadith, journals through google scholar and scopus, news and related books. The results of this study show that bullying behavior in schools in the perspective of Islamic Psychology is abusive behavior that a person does to others in verbal or physical form according to an Islamic point of view. This behavior can result in mental disorders even to suicide. Efforts to overcome bullying are to instill awareness as early as possible about the bullying virus and give love to children. For victims of bullying who experience mental disorders are given guidance and forgiveness techniques, al-Tasywiq and al-Tadzkir, Tsawab and Iqab, tazkiyah and ta'lim al-hikmah.

This paper takes as its starting point a scene from the fifth chapter of Thomas Mann’s novella Death in Venice (1912). While Venice is threatened by an outbreak of cholera, a group of Neapolitan street musicians plays in front of Aschenbach, Tadzio, and the other hotel guests. The leader of the band—a buffonesque guitarist-singer with red hair and a wrinkled, emaciated face—is an ominous figure whose facetious, sexually charged performance eventually turns into blatant mockery of the audience, whom he infects with his contagious laughter. Using the concept of “performance as transformation” (Erika Fischer-Lichte) as a lens through which to investigate the filmic and operatic adaptations of the scene in Luchino Visconti’s Death in Venice (1970) and Benjamin Britten’s eponymous opera (1973), I focus on the various renditions of the laughing song to trace the particular transformative power it unfolds across media. Both adaptations use music to ironically comment on Aschenbach’s infatuation. Yet, their approach to the scene at large is distinct from one another: While the opera turns the performance into an interiorized space of moral interrogation, the film evokes the sound of the past through the insertion of pre-existent popular songs from the time, including Berardo Cantalamessa’s Neapolitan laughing song “’A risa.” As I argue, the latter served as a model for the uproarious comical number described by Mann which thus constitutes a “phono-graphic” adaptation itself. Finally, I discuss the recurrences of demonic laughter throughout the film as part of Visconti’s intertextual strategy to create motivic relationships between Death in Venice and Doctor Faustus (1947).
