The subject of this thesis is to process a future development strategy of a specific firm based on its strategy analysis. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part, where the theoretical part describes methods and procedures, which are subsequently used in the practical part. The practical part then analyses external and internal environment of the company, based on which SWOT analysis is created. A proposal of the firm's future development is put together from the obtained data, which also corresponds with the mission and vision of the company, and is described further in more detail within the functional strategies of the individual strategy business units. At the end, the chosen strategy is evaluated from the perspective of suitability, acceptability and viability.

The subject of the diploma thesis is the processing of a future development strategy of a concrete company based on its strategy analysis. The thesis is divided on two main parts, where the first describes theoretical and methodological bases, whose findings are then used in the second, practical part. To achieve the company's future strategy is used to approach of the strategic planning cycle. In its analytical part is analyzed the external and internal environment of the company by which are proposed options for the future development of the company in a strategic part, based on acceptance criteria. The target of this dissertation thesis is to verify a relationship between strategic planning and prosperity of the company. Opinions of many experts about expediency of strategic planning vary. Some believe that strategic planning is a base for successful growth, while others demonstrate through results of many different researches that a direct relationship between strategic planning and success of the company cannot be proven. Therefore an empirical research was made to test hypotheses about the impact of strategic planning on prosperity of the company. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the development of strategic management followed by a description of internal and external business environments and the impacts which influence them. The theoretical part also describes the characteristics of strategic management and planning, tools and models as well as methods for measurement of efficiency of strategic planning. As the sub-target of this thesis is also to propose a simplified model of strategic planning which could be applied in small and medium size companies, the theoretical part is concluded by description of specifics of small and medium size companies. The analytical part of the thesis consists of detailed analyses of data collected through questionnaires. Based on results of those analyses, profiles of different categories of companies are synthesized. Conclusions of performed analyses and syntheses are used as a base for testing of validity of defined hypotheses. A new concept of the “4-segments model” of strategic planning is presented in the proposal part of the thesis. Benefits for theory and for practical use are evaluated at the end of the thesis.

The goal of this master's thesis is to perform a strategic analysis, to formulate a strategy on its basis and to propose the way of implementation and control of the strategy for the SAP division of the Pontech s.r.o. company and to contribute to successful implementation of strategic management system in this division and company. In the diploma thesis Strategy map of a catering company the strategic map of a model catering company operating on Czech market has been constructed. Strategy map was chosen as a transparent and effective measure concerning the important parts of the strategy of the concrete company in a way of visual shortcut in line with the well-known methodology: KAPLAN, Robert S., NORTON, David P.: Strategy Maps, Harvard Business School Publishing Corporation, Boston 2004. ISBN 1-59139-134-2. In the theoretical part of this diploma thesis the basic elements important for the construction of the strategy map were described and also the professional services of the catering company were presented. In the practical part the catering market of Czech Republic is analysed and then, on the basis of determined opportunities, the newly founded company VIP Catering is being modelled. This company addresses VIP clients with the offer of first class quality VIP services. Subsequently its mission, vision, SWOT analysis were determined, strategic goals were analysed and divided into four basic perspectives and reliable key performance indicators were suggested. Consequently strategic iniciatives and appropriate organization structure were developped. At the end of the practical part the strategy map for the VIP catering company was designed and the causal relationships among the strategy elements were outlined. The main result of the diploma thesis lies in the originally constructed strategy map on of a newly established catering company operating on Czech market.

The diploma deals with the strategic management in small and medium-sized companies. The strategic management is applied to a specific company operating in the field of mechanical engineering. The main goal of the diploma is to propose strategic variants focused mainly on the company's' development and resulting from the external and internal analyses. The results from both analyses are further used for the SWOT analysis which summarizes the strengths and weaknesses of the company influenced from the "outside" as opportunities and threats. SWOT analysis led to the definition of two strategic variants. First one is focused on the development of a new product; second one is more about searching for new opportunities on the market and marketing. After evaluating both proposals and considering dis/advantages only one has been recommended for the realization -- the second proposal.

This thesis deals with the strategic plan, which is described from the perspective of creation and related processes and procedures in the theoretical part. Work is devoted to the analysis of the content and form of the plan. From this perspective, addressing the status of the plans and their quality in selected cities of various sizes in the South Region in the new programming period 2014-2020 and further analysis are compared both programming periods 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. The selected cities are Pisek, Strakonice, Milevsko, Protivin, Blatná and Vodňany. Such research sample was chosen to represent the county and smaller cities, where there is a significant change in strategy documents compared to cities of a higher category.

This diploma thesis is concerned with a problem of strategic supplier relationship management in the context of a correct understanding of the strategic procurement function. The main goal of the thesis is to analyze Strategic procurement department and all activities related do its function. Identify the main differences between strategic and operational function within the enterprise purchasing. Below this paper the purchasing strategy and strategic supllier relationship management of the corporate portfolio of suppliers are discussed in detail. To solve assigned topic Czech and foreign literature and internal materials of the analyzed company was used. To achieve the basic objective of the work I used descriptive, literature search, analysis and synthesis. In the application part there are three case studies that discuss specific issues. Based on the data, it is possible to confirm that strategic procurement and developed strategic supplier relationship management brings many advantages and it can be considered as a form of competitive advange.

The thesis deals with the strategic analysis of Tesco Stores a.s. The theoretical part contains a presentation of the methodology issues of strategic analysis and its basic parts, whose knowledge is essential for its processing. Introduction of the practical part contains the description of the profile of Tesco. In the macro surroundings analysis are acquired information on the trends and forces that affect the retail market the most. Following part contains the analysis of the retail sector, its attractiveness and the driving forces that affect it. The analysis of competitive environment has revealed the relationship between retail customers, suppliers and competitors themselves. Portfolio analysis shows the position of the basic types of stores of Tesco and SWOT analysis reveals strengths and weaknesses compared with market opportunities and threats. In conclusion are identified specific benefits and are designed strategic recommendations.

The goal of this paper is to establish a suitable strategy for Centropen company. The master's thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with analyses of the internal and external environment, which is based on literature. The practical part then applies the said analyses to the company. The internal analysis is carried out based on source and financial analysis. The external environment is studied through the PEST analysis and the Porter's Five Forces model. A synthesis of the two analyses forms the SWOT analysis. The strategy will be specified via IE matrix. The results of the analyses will serve as a suitable strategy recommendation for Centropen.

The aim of the thesis: "Strategic Business Activities of a Chosen Firm" is strategic analysis and the evaluation of present strategic business activities of the chosen firm, which in turn is based on the formulation of recommended strategic business activities, thanks to which the company should hold its market share and in particular the level of income. The goal is the formulation of such measures through which the company will continue to be competitive and be a market leader. The basis of this work is the analysis of internal and external business environment. Partial analyzes are quantitatively evaluated and their results are then incorporated. Based on the results of the strategic analysis is then evaluated the current situation and position in the market and are also formulated various recommendations, including recommended strategies that can be used in the future.

This thesis is devoted to small business strategy. In the theoretical section all the important parts of the strategic cycle are gradually summarized. The practical section is closely linked with the theoretical one and gradually applies the theoretical knowledge from the first part to the specific example of a small business. After determining the vision and the mission a detailed internal and external analysis is described for small business. Than particular models are being applied on the specific case in order to determine the strategies for the chosen company. Based on the information gathered, the thesis deals with the evaluation of strategies, their selection and design of their implementation in practice. These three essential procedures are set out as a goal of this thesis. In the end, we get to evaluate the strategy chosen according to various criteria, its proposal to introduce into practice and recommendations for future action by the company as well as their justification.

The thesis is divided into individual chapters of the theoretical and practical part. The aim is to develop and evaluate strategies for the company STAKOSOLAR Ltd. stemming both from the theoretical knowledge as well as the specific data obtained in this company. The aim of the master thesis is to create an optimal strategy for the future development of the selected firm, based on its strategic analysis and application of acquired theoretical economic knowledge in the specific business plan. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the main concepts and describes different analyses, which are then used in the practical part and lead to a final choice of a particular strategy, as well as give the basic information about the business plan, its structure and content. The practical part analyses the internal and external business environment. The information from each type of analysis is used to create the SWOT analysis. Bakgrund: I dagens samhälle präglas organisationer av ekonomiska förändringar, detta genom globalisering, förändrade kundförhållanden och en ökad konkurrens. Organisationer behöver hela tiden förbättra sin konkurrenskraft genom att effektivisera sin verksamhet. Idag ses medarbetarna som organisationers viktigaste tillgång eftersom att de förser organisationer med viktiga källor för att bli konkurrenskraftiga. Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) är ett arbetssätt som handlar om att utforma HR-strategier som gör att medarbetarnas kunskap och kompetens bidrar till att nå organisationens övergripande mål. Syfte: Syftet med studien har varit att undersöka hur organisationen använder ett strategiskt HR-arbete (SHRM) och om det är ett framgångsrikt arbetssätt. Vår studie har bidragit till en ökad förståelse om begreppet SHRM och hur det kan användas samt hur SHRM kan påverka organisationen. Metod: Insamlingen av vårt empiriska material bygger på en kvalitativ metod där vi genomfört djupgående intervjuer med HR-chefer som arbetar i en organisation som är verksam inom fordonsindustrin. Slutsats: Vi har kommit fram till att organisationen använder SHRM som arbetssätt. Vi kan dock inte dra några konkreta slutsatser om hur SHRM påverkar or-ganisationen men det finns tydliga indikationer på att SHRM har en positiv inverkan och bidrar till en ökad produktivitet och effektivitet. Vi har även kommit fram till att det är viktigt att organisationen utövar ett ledarskap som främjar SHRM.
Background: In today's society organizations are characterized by economic changes, this by globalization, changing customer circumstances and increased competition. Organizations need to constantly improve their competitiveness by streamlining its operations. Today, employees are seen as the organizations most important asset, this because they provide organizations with important sources to become competitive. Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) is an approach that is about to build HR-strategies that make employees knowledge and skills to contribute the organizations to achieve the overall goals. Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine how the organization is using a strategic HR-work (SHRM) and if it is a successful strategy. Our study has contributed to a better understanding of the concept of SHRM and how it can be used and how SHRM can affect the organization. Method: The collection of our empirical material is based on a qualitative approach where we conducted in-depth interviews with HR-managers working in an organization that is active in the automotive industry. Conclusion: We have concluded that our survey shows that the organization uses the SHRM as working strategy. However, we can not draw any concrete conclusions in which way SHRM affect the organization, but there are clear indications that SHRM has a positive effect, contributing to increased productivity and efficiency. A further conclusion of our study is that it´s very important that the organization have a leadership that promotes SHRM.

The thesis is focused on application of Balanced Scorecard in Federal Express Czech. BSC is a management tool, A performance metric used in strategic management to identify and improve various internal functions and their resulting external outcomes. BSC is a way of: measuring of companie's succes, balancing long-term and short-term actions and balancing different measures of success -- financial, customer, internal operations, human resource system & Development (learning and growth) The theoretical part is focused on introducing of BSC and includes strategic analysis. The practical part is devoted to the strategy of the parent company and its relation to the company in Czech Republic. First of all, an analysis of the company financial performance and the strategic analysis were executed and then strengths and weaknesses have been defined by SWOT analysis. The most important part is the actual implementation of the BSC. This implementation consists in assigning corporate strategic goals and their indicators of success for individual perspectives of BSC. The coherence and the causality of the corporate strategic goals clearly show the strategic map. The shortcomings of the Czech Federal Express and proposal for their solution are described in the conclusion..

The objective of the Master´s Thesis is to apply the Balanced Scorecard system in a foundry company. The theoretical part defines the strategic management, it introduces individual parts of the Balanced Scorecard system and methods for its implementation in the company. The practical part use the methods listed above and applies them to the specific company An external analysis is applied to identify the relationship between the enterprise and its surroundings As a part of the internal analysis, financial indicators are calculated and compared with other enterprises in the sector. Based on the results of analyzes, the strengths as well as the weaknesses are identified and the strategy and strategic goals are set in four perspectives. To achieve these goals, the strategic map is created as the way of expressing and communicating strategy throughout the whole company. Moreover, the final section emphasizes the need for Balanced Scorecard integration into the company's management and management system.
