Streszczenie:
Urban planning in Albania, has been promoted in various forms of organization. Ultimately Territorial Planning Law represents another form of policies on the territory that is closely linked to the decentralization of control of the territory. Up to now, four developments has been particularly important: * European approach, which gave an increase in economic and social cohesion policy; * Decentralization in the early 2000s, which has made local governments full participants in the process of territorial planning; * The emergence of the notion of sustainable development; * Initiation of international economic relations after the nineties. Territorial planning policy for sustainable development requires meeting the challenges posed by changing economic, social and cultural development, to achieve a balance of population, industry, culture, etc., between the provinces of the country, such as: a) define the principles and directions for a balanced and sustainable development of territory with European standards; b) the establishment of the territorial conditions for regional development; c) the direction of the establishment and development of national public infrastructure; d) creation of conditions for the preservation of ecosystems, biodiversity, natural resources on and under the earth and the natural and cultural wealth, balancing the effects of housing systems and economic activities and the protection of green spaces development of other areas of cultivable; etc. The objectives of these policies are: Convergence; Regional Competitiveness and Employment; European territorial cooperation and contractual approach as an effective means of implementation of projects that include various levels of government, "an area, a strategy, a contract". They will focus on priorities: local competition and attractiveness; environmental dimension of sustainable development; social and territorial cohesion; sustainable development.

Streszczenie:
Social dynamics of a developing country undergo constant changes because of the demand of economic growth and people’s cater for social mobility. English has become important in all economic activities globally. Bangladesh was a British colony for almost 200 years. The legacy of English education still continues and it has not formulated any language policy, though the policy is to use mother tongue in all affairs of national/state functioning. Violating government rules, innumerable English education institutions operate taking advantage of the absence of government policy. This empirical study investigates unofficially how elements of social dynamics influence its language planning and policy.

In 1990 I began employment with the United Way of the Alberta Capital Region as the Vice President for Agency and Community Services. My department is responsible for ensuring that processes are in place to allocate several million dollars annually, and for research and policy planning, particularly on health and social service issues. Our United Way serves as the major private funder for scores of human service agencies in the Edmonton metropolitan area, which has a population of more than 800,000. Edmonton had experienced especially rapid change in the 1980s, associated with its "boom-bust" petroleum industry and high rates of in-migration. Among the results of these changes were instability in values and socioeconomic conditions and increased challenges within the voluntary and charitable sectors.

Streszczenie:
The legislation of public housing policy in Taiwan was in the 1949 after the Nationalist Government moved to Taiwan from China. Since 1949, Taiwan faced several difficult situations, for example the oil crisis period and the real estate economy took off. In 2000, government decided to stop this policy, and didn't offer any appropriate social housing policy. However, Taipei is the most densely-populated city in Taiwan. People could not buy their own private house for the high price. Its showed us a great deal of the need of housing rental. With this matter, Taipei City Government began to offer the public housing in 2012. This syudy compares the Taiwan national public housing policy and the Taipei local social housing overall policy planning. The purpose of this study is to examine if the Taipei social housing policy suits the rent market or not. We discussed the advantages and disadvantages of Taipei policy planning, analyzed the need of improvement on Taipei social housing policy.

Streszczenie:
Social Science disciplines have always been considered the second choice as compared to the hard sciences in the academic institutions of Pakistan. Does this apply to the national education policy as well, where the state intervention is catalytic in setting up the academic choices of the people? This study, by critically reviewing the national education policies and plans, endeavors to address this important question to understand the role of education planning in promoting/demoting social science academic disciplines in Pakistan. Education policy in Pakistan has been predominantly proposed through eight national five-year plans between 1955 and 1998, to primarily focus on increasing the national literacy rate, and promoting hard science education and vocational training. After the creation of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in 2002, the policy significantly shifted to Higher Education, yet to focus (natural/computer) science, and technology. Social science is at the periphery of the knowledge mission in Pakistan. The paper concludes that even the long-awaited recent quantitative growth of social science disciplines fails to produce significant impact on national education policy that almost unanimously seeks their economic worth, instead of their inherent social value.
