Pełny tekst źródłaSmart Grid is one of the solutions to achieve the European Union climate targets, "the 20-20-20- targets". These targets include e.g. higher energy-production from renewable sources and increased energy efficiency. The purpose of these targets is to prevent global warming in order to achieve a better and more sustainable future. The weakness with electric energy is the limited possibility of effective and large-scale storage. With solar power plants and wind power plants, the energy will only be produced under favorable weather conditions. By using Smart Grid the energy consumption, the energy production and the grid can be controlled in a higher scale than today. This will be done by advanced information- and control-technology which will gather and act on information from suppliers and consumers and then act upon the "smartest" alternative. According to the power industry several energy storage units must be built due to store the energy in terms of maximize the benefits of renewable energy during windy or sunny weather, when renewable energy is produced as its best. Some experts in the field believe that electric cars or industries could be possible energy storage units. Another advantage with Smart Grid is the ability for consumers to produce their own electric energy and sell the surplus to the energy market. Dynamic Rating is an important part of the implementation of Smart Grid and can best be described with the words "increasing the level of utilization". By using sensors, information should be measured in real time to maximize the utilization rate of the energy production, the energy consumption and the grid. Today, Vectura's mission in electricity infrastructure is largely focused on rail infrastructure. Now, they have a desire to extend their business in the field of electrical engineering, e.g. Smart Grid and Dynamic Rating. If Vectura will be able to start work on Smart Grids and Dynamic Rating in order to expand their business, training for its consultants is recommended in these areas: energy storage, sensors and renewable energy. Hydro power, wind power and solar power are the main renewable energy sources in the Swedish electricity market.

Pełny tekst źródłaThis report is aimed at developers, and knowledgeable people. The work is intended to provide insight into the smartTV world and also share the experience we have learned. We were asked by Eniro to create a smartTV application, that uses their services, the challenge were great and in an unknown field. We used agile methods to develop smartTV applica-tion. We worked in two man teams and also planned and led our project. The actual devel-opment began with an information search and planning. Although the actual development process was iterative, we had to plan the time we had been giving, because we only had 10 weeks to use only. This meant we had to set up certain boundaries and which services we would use and how much functionality we would have within the application. We used the Samsung SDK as a platform; they had their own emulator, which worked great and simulat-ed television the best way possible. After we a lot of testing and work on a weekly basis, we could each week present a co-product to the customer. This made the work more fun and more focused on what the customer wanted. Then, we could write our results down from the experiences we have gathered during the project. The results we chose to present first of all are written down as a couple of criteria that will be important for future investments in the smartTV world. These are then: It would be appropriate if the company has Web services based on HTML, Flash and/or JavaScript. The services should be easily navigated and not need much user interaction to work. The used systems should be able to integrate with Web services, unless the services are already online services. Appropriate services can be simple arcade games, movies, music, news, map search,People finder. new thinking and Innovation in terms of user interaction is needed for applications that require more user interaction.

Pełny tekst źródłaENGLISH ABSTRACT: This paper analyses the UN Senior Mission Administration and Resource Training (SMART) programme, a training course which was created to improve the management of UN peacekeeping mission resources and support functions and to improve the performance of managers in the UN Department of Field Support and Department of Peacekeeping. The history of the SMART programme and the context in whic h it was created is provided before evaluating the programme against current training and learning theory literature. The paper also examines the current and potential capacity of SMART to facilitate triple loop learning, or innovation, through the inclus ion of futures studies concepts, such as scenario-building, change and strategy management in the programme. Lastly, the study recommends that SMART learners be equipped with these futures-orientated planning tools to improve their work performance, facilitate triple loop learning and thus improve the overall organisational performance of the Department of Field Support.

Pełny tekst źródłaIn recent years, blockchain technology has received more and more attention. It has shown special advantages in digital currency, because it is distributed and its data cannot be altered. With more countries put forward the idea of the power system innovation, a large number of distributed power sources have emerged. The grid connection of these distributed power sources will lead to unstable grid operation and greatly increase the difficulty of management. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a solution that can realize direct transaction of distributed power supply. This article makes an in-depth analysis of the blockchain technology, including hash algorithm, consensus mechanism, Merkle tree, smart contract, etc. And then the Ethereum and smart grids are studied. This article realizes automation and intelligence of the electricity transaction measurement through the smart contract technology provided by Ethereum. A blockchain private chain is created and then the smart contract is deployed into the private chain. With the advantages of blockchain technology aforementioned, the storage of power data and the power transactions will be more credible and more transparent. All in all, this paper designs and builds a smart grid system based on the smart contract technology of blockchain. The system can be used not only for smart grid systems but also for other energy trading systems. This article provides a reference for the application of blockchain technology.
