Due to the increase of published Web Services (WSs), finding the suitable WS that satisfies the user goals among discovered WSs still needs deep investigations. Certainly, QoS requirements represent a more appropriate and decisive factor to distinguish similar WSs. A lot of research efforts in this direction have been made but are still limited due to the complexity and diversity of QoS constraints. The novelty of our approach lies in its simplicity since it is based on WS Popularity Score (WSPS). This score is computed using an algorithm based on both user's requirements and quality measures of each discovered WSs such as pertinence, age, frequency, etc. The paper reports a validation of the proposed algorithm, its implementation and evaluation trough Information Extraction (IE), in order to illustrate, and assess the convenience of our approach.

The validation of this questionnaire is an important tool for analyzing the knowledge and skills of coaches, as well as a better understanding of their practice context. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to establish the content validity of the Coaches’ Knowledge and Competence Questionnaire (CKCQ). Five specialists with doctorate degree for at least 10 years, academic experience and periodicity of publications with the theme in national and international journals participated in the validation process. Specialists evaluated 38 items of the questionnaire and assigned a score on a 1-5 point likert scale for each item in the language clarity, practical pertinence and theoretical relevance criteria. The content validity coefficient (CVC) was used to determine the CVCI of items and the CVCt of the total instrument of each criterion, adopting cutoff point of 0.81. The approximate results found for language clarity (0.92), practical pertinence (0.99) and theoretical relevance (0.98) presented values considered almost perfect and appropriate for validation. The content validation of the CKCQ is an important alternative for the evaluation of the knowledge and competences of sports coaches.

BackgroundAlthough all patients present unique biopsychosocial contexts, the care of inflammatory arthritis patients is particularly complicated by the interaction of multiple factors. Advocates of patient- centered care identify that the best way to manage complex patients is through comprehensive treatment strategies that can adapt to the nuances of individual contexts. Recently published disease specific, patient centered national clinical guidelines for inflammatory arthritis [1] represent a model of care that can be fit for standard, disease-oriented patients’ management.ObjectivesTo assess for the outcomes of indiscriminately implementing individual, disease-specific treatment strategies in standard clinical practice for the treatment of inflammatory arthritis and its impact on the disease activity measures as well as patient reported outcomes.MethodsA 12-month multicenter, randomized study compared standard care with patient-centered, Treat to Target (T2T) management of inflammatory arthritis. All patients completed patient reported outcome measures [2]. Regular appointments were delivered by specially trained rheumatologists who kept a record of the clinical assessments, medication titration, patient reported outcomes, self-management, psychosocial support and motivation score. The primary outcome was 12-month remission assessed using the Disease Activity Score for 28 joints using ESR (DAS28-ESR). Secondary outcomes included fatigue, functional disability, quality of life and motivation levels.Results297 rheumatoid arthritis patients were screened and randomized (149 Treat to Target management; 148 standard care); 269 (90.6%) patients had their 12-month outcomes completed. Patient centered treat to target management increased DAS28-ESR 12-month remissions compared to standard care (43% vs 22%, p = 0.004). Patient centered T2T management also significantly increased prevalence of those who achieved DAS28-ESR low disease activity scores. (38% vs 23%, p = 0.005). In addition, it substantially improved patients’ functional ability (0.4 + 0.2 Vs 1.1 + 0.3, p< 0.01), quality of life (0.6 + 0.2 Vs 1.2 + 0.5, p< 0.01), reduced fatigue (4.2 + 1.3 Vs 6.8 + 1.6, p< 0.01). Motivation score was higher in the T2T cohort (8.4 + 1.3 Vs 5.7 + 2.1, p< 0.05). There was no evidence that serious adverse events (patient centered T2T management =14 vs standard care =12) or other adverse events (112 vs 106) differed in both groups.ConclusionMore patients achieve the treatment target of remissions or low disease activity status. There were greater improvements in patient reported outcomes, functional ability, fatigue as well as motivation. In the meantime, there were no more harms. Patient centered T2T clinical guidelines are able to provide condition-specific guidance on how one would optimally manage a disease tailored to the individual patient’s requirements.References[1]El Miedany Y. et al, Egyptian guidelines for the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis — 2022 update.

In recent decades, all the documents maintained by the industries are getting transformed into soft copies in either structured documents or as an e-copies. In text document processing, there is a number of ways available to extract the raw data. As the accuracy in finding the spatial data is crucial, this domain invites various research solutions that provide high accuracy. In this article, the Fuzzy Extraction, Resolving, and Clustering (FERC) architecture is proposed which uses fuzzy logic techniques to identify and cluster uncertain textual spatial reference. When the text corpus is queried with a spatial-keyword, FERC returns a set of relevant documents sorted in view of the fuzzy pertinence score. Any two documents may be compared in light of the spatial references that exist in them and their fuzzy similarity score is presented. This enables finding the degree to which the two documents speak about a specified location. The proposed architecture provides a better result set to the user, unlike a Boolean search where the document is either rated relevant or irrelevant.

Individuals often resort to YouTube as a means of accessing insights into their medical conditions and potential avenues for treatment. Among prevalent and incapacitating afflictions within the general populace, restless leg syndrome assumes significance. The focal objective of this investigation is to scrutinize the caliber inherent in videos pertaining to restless leg syndrome disseminated via the YouTube platform. The sorting of videos was accomplished by gauging their pertinence subsequent to conducting a search for “restless leg syndrome” on YouTube, specifically on the 20th of August, 2023. The evaluation encompassed videos curated from the selection of the top 50 English language videos deemed most relevant. The review process entailed the comprehensive assessment of relevance and content by 2 distinct medical professionals operating independently. Furthermore, pertinent descriptive attributes of each video, such as upload date, view count, likes, dislikes, and comments, were meticulously documented within the dataset. To ascertain video quality, the DISCERN Score, global quality score, and Journal of the American Medical Association rating scales were employed as evaluative tools. Significant statistical disparities were observed in terms of DISCERN scores between videos uploaded by medical doctors and those uploaded by individuals without medical qualifications (P < .001). Correspondingly, upon comparing the 2 aforementioned groups, videos uploaded by healthcare professionals exhibited statistically superior quality scores in both the Journal of the American Medical Association and global quality score assessments (P < .001 for both comparisons). The informational quality regarding restless leg syndrome on YouTube presents a spectrum of variability. Notably, videos that offer valuable insights, as well as those that could potentially mislead viewers, do not display discernible variations in terms of their viewership and popularity. For patients seeking reliable information, a useful and safe approach involves favoring videos uploaded by medical professionals. It is imperative to prioritize the professional identity of the content uploader rather than being swayed by the video’s popularity or the quantity of comments it has amassed.

Objective. To develop a deep learning-assisted recovery and nursing system after total hip arthroplasty and to conduct clinical trials in order to verify its accuracy. Methods. In our study, based on manual labeling, the human hip X-ray image library was established, and the deep neural network based on Mask R-CNN was built. The labeled medical images were used to train the model, providing reference for nursing decision after hip replacement. A total of 80 patients with hip injury from 2016 to 2019 were selected for the study. In our paper, the patients were divided into experimental group and control group. The pertinence and effectiveness of the model for postoperative care were evaluated by comparing the hip pain (VAS index), recovery (Harris score), self-care ability (Barthel index), and postoperative complication rate between the two groups. Results. The pain and complications in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the difference being statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ); the recovery of hip joint and self-care ability were higher than those in the control group, the difference being statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ); the other differences were not statistically significant ( P > 0.05 ). Conclusion. The application of deep learning method in the rapid nursing after total hip replacement can significantly improve the nursing ability. Compared with the traditional method, it has stronger pertinence, faster postoperative recovery, lower incidence of complications, and greatly improves the postoperative quality of life of patients with hip injury.

Streszczenie:
Online mobile advertising plays a vital financial role in supporting free mobile apps, but detecting malicious apps publishers who generate fraudulent actions on the advertisements hosted on their apps is difficult, since fraudulent traffic often mimics behaviors of legitimate users and evolves rapidly. In this paper, we propose a novel bipartite graph-based propagation approach, iBGP, for mobile apps advertising fraud detection in large advertising system. We exploit the characteristics of mobile advertising user’s behavior and identify two persistent patterns: power law distribution and pertinence and propose an automatic initial score learning algorithm to formulate both concepts to learn the initial scores of non-seed nodes. We propose a weighted graph propagation algorithm to propagate the scores of all nodes in the user-app bipartite graphs until convergence. To extend our approach for large-scale settings, we decompose the objective function of the initial score learning model into separate one-dimensional problems and parallelize the whole approach on an Apache Spark cluster. iBGP was applied on a large synthetic dataset and a large real-world mobile advertising dataset; experiment results demonstrate that iBGP significantly outperforms other popular graph-based propagation methods.

Streszczenie:
Abstract Background Citric acid–based bicarbonate haemodialysis (CIT-HD) has gained more clinical acceptance over the last few years in France and is a substitute for other acidifiers [e.g. acetic acid (CH3COOH) and hydrochloric acid (HCl)]. This trend was justified by several clinical benefits compared with CH3COOH as well as the desire to avoid the consequences of the corrosive action of HCl, but a nationwide clinical report raised concerns about the long-term safety of CIT-HD. The aim of this study was to assess the long-term effects of CIT-HD exposure on patient outcomes in western France. Methods This is a population-based retrospective multicentre observational study performed in 1132 incident end-stage kidney disease patients in five sanitary territories in western France who started their renal replacement therapy after 1 January 2008 and followed up through 15 October 2018. Relevant data, collected prospectively with the same medical software, were anonymously aggregated for the purposes of the study. The primary goal of this study was to investigate the effects of citrate exposure on all-cause mortality. To provide a control group to CIT-HD one, propensity score matching (PSM) at 2:1 was performed in two steps: the first analysis was intended to be exploratory, comparing patients who received citrate ≤80% of the time (CIT-HD ≤80) versus those who received citrate &gt;80% of the time (CIT-HD &gt;80), while the second analysis was intended to be explanatory in comparing patients with 0% (CIT-HD0) versus 100% citrate time exposure (CIT-HD100). Results After PSM, in the exploratory part of the analysis, 432 CIT-HD ≤80 patients were compared with 216 CIT-HD &gt;80 patients and no difference was found for all-cause mortality using the Kaplan–Meier model (log-rank 0.97), univariate Cox regression analysis {hazard ratio [HR] 1.01 [95% confidence interval (CI) 0.71–1.40]} and multivariate Cox regression analysis [HR 1.11 (95% CI 0.76–1.61)] when adjusted for nine variables with clinical pertinence and high statistical relevance in the univariate analysis. In the explanatory part of the analysis, 316 CIT-HD0 patients were then compared with 158 CIT-HD100 patients and no difference was found using the Kaplan–Meier model (log-rank 0.06), univariate Cox regression analysis [HR 0.69 (95% CI 0.47–1.03)] and multivariate Cox regression analysis [HR 0.87 (95% CI 0.57–1.33)] when adjusted for seven variables with clinical pertinence and high statistical relevance in the univariate analysis. Conclusions Findings of this study support the notion that CIT-HD exposure ≤6 years has no significant effect on all-cause mortality in HD patients. This finding remains true for patients receiving high-volume online haemodiafiltration, a modality most frequently prescribed in this cohort.

Introduction: the MMSE is used for eligibility screening of potential research participants diagnosed with substance use disorder (SUD), as abilities needed to provide a valid informed consent or accurate information could be impaired in these clinical populations. Knowledge about the capacity of the MMSE to detect impairment in these abilities or at least to assess impact of SUD on its total score, however, is rather diffuse. This has important ethical and methodological implications. Objective: to analyze effects of SUD only, main substances of abuse, age of onset of substance use, recent substance use, and psychiatric comorbidity upon MMSE outcome. The overall purpose of the study was to assess the utility of the MMSE for eligibility screening of potential research participants with SUD. Method: individuals were recruited from residential facilities for substance use treatment. A demographic questionnaire, MMSE and Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview were used. Results: A total of 601 participants were gathered for main analysis. Controlling for education, no differences in MMSE score were detected within main substances of abuse (F=1.25[4,529], p=.28), nor between SUD only versus SUD with psychiatric comorbidity (F=.58[1,597], p=.44). Effects of age of onset and recent use of specific substances upon MMSE score were also absent. Discussion and conclusions: If there is some cognitive impairment in this clinical population, it may not be pertinently assessed by the MMSE, thus casting doubt on its pertinence for eligibility screening.

Conclusion.

Aiming at the lack of theoretical basis for the development of cultural tourism resources, an application method of artificial intelligence-based sensor technology in the recommendation model of cultural tourism resources is proposed. Sensor network is an application-based network. Compared with traditional wireless communication network, it has the characteristics of large node scale, self-organized multihop, unattended, and no communication infrastructure. Combined with artificial intelligence sensor technology, this paper attempts to construct an evaluation index system and evaluation model for cultural tourism resources, and uses this model to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of cultural ecotourism resources in the western region. The experimental results show that the E value of the evaluation result of cultural tourism resources in the western region is 6.346, which has a good development value. Secondly, from the specific evaluation results of each level, the western region has the highest cultural tourism standard, which has 6.605. Cultural tourism resources, landscape resources, and development conditions scored lower. Among them, cultural tourism resources and landscape resources have the highest score (7.186), and the economic and cultural field has the lowest score (6.092). Among the cultural tourism development conditions, the policy conditions are high (6.823), but the location conditions are very low, only 4.879 points. Therefore, it is found that the model takes cultural tourism landscape resources, cultural tourism environment resources, and cultural tourism development conditions as the content of cultural tourism resources evaluation, which is comprehensive and has strong hierarchy and pertinence; fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method has strong objectivity to determine the weight and the value classification; and weighting evaluation model of cultural tourism resources has rationality and generalizability and can provide a scientific basis for the classification and evaluation of cultural tourism resources and the planning and development of cultural tourism.

Introduction: This paper is part of a research project that aims to construct a predictive model for students’ academic performance, as result of an iterative process of experimentation and evaluation of the pertinence of some data mining techniques. Methodology: This paper was written in 2016 in the Universidad El Bosque, Bogotá, Colombia, and presents a comparative analysis of the performance and relevance of the J48 and Random Forest algorithms, in order to identify the most influential demographic and icfes score variables, as well as the classification rules, to predict the first year academic performance of the Engineering Faculty students, in Universidad El Bosque, Bogotá, Colombia. Results: The analysis process was carried out on 7,644 students’ records, and it was developed in two phases. Firstly, the data needed to feed the mining process was extracted and prepared. Secondly, the data mining process itself was implemented through preprocessing data and executing the classification algorithms available in Weka. Some significant variables and rules to predict academic performance are found, according to the studied population characteristics. Conclusions: The academic risk seen as the cause of the desertion phenomenon must be studied as a phenomenon itself. Establishing its causes facilitates the creation of preventive strategies for the accompaniment of students through their process, aimed to mitigate the risk of both phenomena.

Malnutrition and metabolic disorders are common problems faced by patients with Stanford type A aortic dissection after surgery. Some patients have dietary problems such as malnutrition, unbalanced diet, and poor eating habits before surgery. Therefore, the nutritional management of early heart health can improve the nutritional support for perioperative recovery, to improve the pertinence. Therefore, active nutritional support after surgery will help to change malnutrition and metabolism and is of great significance to postoperative recovery and quality of life. This paper is aimed at studying the nutritional management mode of early cardiac rehabilitation in patients with Stanford type A aortic dissection. Based on the analysis of the pathogenesis of aortic dissection and the diagnosis of aortic dissection, two groups of patients were given individualized nutritional management scheme and routine nutritional scheme, respectively, and the nutritional risk differences between the two groups under different schemes were compared. The results showed that there was a statistical difference between the two groups at discharge. The NRS-2002 score of 14 cases in the observation group was less than 3 after nutritional intervention, indicating that there was no nutritional risk at discharge.

The studied variables were: fragrance (aroma), flavor, bitterness (sweetness), set, balance, cleaning, aftertaste, mouth feel, uniformity, salinity (acidity) and drink (global note). To the average overall scores of the drinks obtained on the cup-tasting at 80.0 points of a sampling, the mesh has applied the function of association of the fuzzy classification linear model to determine the degree of pertinence. The data were analyzed by the descriptive statistics and then by geostatistics to verify the existence and quantify the degree of spatial dependence of the variables. In the interval classified as “very good coffee” is found in the global average grade, in the two harvests. The methodology fuzzy applied in the global beverage note of the coffee conilon seminal made it possible to determine their spatial variability in the same distribution pattern in the two harvests, close ranges, and adjustments to the spherical model, which was confirmed by the spatial correlation of 61.6% among the fuzzy maps for the global score</p>

Normally web services are classified by the quality of services; however, the term quality is not absolute and defined relatively. The quality of web services is measured or derived using various parameters like reliability, scalability, flexibility, and availability. The limitation of the methods employing these parameters is that sometimes they are producing similar web services in recommendation lists. To address this research problem, the novel improved clustering-based web service recommendation method is proposed in this paper. This approach is mainly dealing with producing diversity in the results of web service recommendations. In this method, functional interest, quality of service (QoS) preference, and diversity features are combined to produce a unique recommendation list of web services to end-users. To produce the unique recommendation results, we propose a varied web service classification order that is clustering-based on web services’ functional relevance such as non-useful pertinence, recorded client intrigue importance, and potential client intrigue significance. Additionally, to further improve the performance of this approach, we designed web service graph construction, an algorithm of various widths clustering. This approach serves to enhance the exceptional quality, that is, the accuracy of web service recommendation outcomes. The performance of this method was implemented and evaluated against existing systems for precision, and f-score performance metrics, using the research datasets.

The quality of coffee beverages has been under study due to the demand of the consumer market for both arabica and conilon coffee. The aim of this work was to study beverage quality from different clones by means of sensory analysis, in 13 clones of the variety Victoria INCAPER 8142 produced at average altitudes of 100.0 m and 528.0 m and with the cherry fruits processed by natural drying or depulping. Fuzzy classification was adopted for the global scores obtained in the sensory analysis, on a scale of 70.0 to 100.0 points, with the Euclidean distance from the cluster analysis being used to define the dissimilarity between the global fuzzified scores for the different clones at the two altitudes and for the two methods of processing the fruit. Clones C4 and C10, at the intermediate maturation stage, presented a mean global score (GS) of 85.0 points for the coffee produced at the altitude of 528.0 m and for the depulped fruit, corresponding to a degree of fuzzy pertinence (FI) of 0.50, and being classified as fine coffee. These same clones presented dissimilarities in the beverage produced by the depulped fruit, with better quality for the coffee at the higher altitude. The fuzzy classification taken together with the cluster analysis to interpret the mean global scores (GS) in the sensory analysis of the beverage for the different treatments under study identified variation in beverage quality

Background:Under-recognised bipolar spectrum disorder is going to be one of the most important debates in new articles and researches. Recent data, enlarging bipolar criteria to temperament, family history and more, try to help clinicians in the recognition of the broader spectrum of bipolarity and so getting the most adequate therapeutic attitude. Methods:Consecutive 86 Tunisian patients who meet the DSM IV criteria for major depressive episode (MDE) were interviewed with the temperament evaluation of Memphis,Pisa,Paris and San Diego in order to assess the frequency of cyclothymic temperament (CT).Then we compared the distribution of bipolar criteria, as defined by Akiskal between cyclothymic depressive patients and non cyclothymic ones. Finally the evolution under antidepressants was studied using the GFE:the global functioning evaluation.Results:34.9% of patients meet the criteria of cyclothymic temperament and compared to the 65.1% who did not, they had significantly lower age of onset, higher recurrence of MDE, more atypical features and more suicidal attempts and comorbidities (anxious disorders and drug abuse).Family history of bipolar disorder was more frequently found within the cyclothymic group as well as psychotic symptoms but not with a significant difference. Finally 71.4% of the non cyclothymic patients improved under antidepressants (GFE score >= 70) compared to only 26.6% in the group of cyclothymic ones. Conclusion:If we consider the large criteria of bipolarity and the concept of an affective spectrum, the prevalence of bipolar disorder become higher than previously believed, making clinicians reconsider the relevance of the diagnostic of unipolar trouble and the pertinence of the antidepressant treatment.

This paper aims to endeavor to develop a holistic Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) framework, amalgamating the utilization of building facilities and Building Performance Attributes (BPA) for appraising the performance of Construction and Design Firms (CDFs) alongside building performance indicators such as occupant satisfaction within residential apartment complexes. The study adopts a tripartite research methodology encompassing theoretical exploration, on-site investigations, and analytical examinations. The theoretical component entails an extensive literature survey to integrate 15 identified BPAs seamlessly. Field inquiries involve rating building performance and gauging occupant contentment. The subsequent analytical phase establishes correlations between building performance metrics and occupant satisfaction levels. This systematic approach synergizes user insights with building services, promising a rigorous and systematic building analysis. The outcomes underscore a robust correlation linking building performance attributes to occupant satisfaction, thus affirming the pivotal role of POE as an indispensable tool for appraising building performance. The analysis reveals ten highly correlated parameters, indicating a substantial 67% connection between the Building Performance Rating (BPR) and the Occupant Satisfaction Score (OSS). These influential parameters guide improvements and updates through Post-Occupancy Evaluations (POE). This process is a valuable learning tool for enhancing future organizational projects and improving building performance. The findings emphasize the pertinence of the criteria employed in evaluating building performance, which is relevant for assessing occupant contentment and CDF’s effectiveness. Comparing the previous research, this research posits the potential for widespread adoption of POE in augmenting CDFs' performance and lays the groundwork for expanding its utilization. The scholarly exploration introduces novel perspectives and paves the way for a comprehensive integration of POE to enhance CDFs' operational proficiency. e14034 Background: Primary brain malignancy is distinct from other oncologic diagnoses in its presentation and course. Recent treatment advances have modestly improved survival; yet, prognoses for afflicted patients remain grim, which often leads to non-oncology providers questioning the pertinence of aggressive critical care in this population. By relating patient and disease factors with mortality rates in malignant brain tumor (MBT) patients admitted for critical care, we seek to identify valuable prognostic factors and clarify the expected outcomes following intensive care unit (ICU) admission among these patients. Methods: A single-institution retrospective review was performed of 80 primary MBT patients admitted to neuro- or medical ICUs over a five-year period. The Electronic Health Record (EHR) was queried to identify MBT patients who had been admitted to the ICU. Patients undergoing planned surgical resection or with post-operative complications were excluded, as were patients with brain metastases. A matched control group of 80 solid tumor (ST) patients (excluding brain tumors) was included for comparison. Similar aged matched controls were randomly identified via EHR over the same time period to include non-brain, ST patients admitted to the ICU. Demographic, oncologic, and admission data were related to outcomes, which included complication rates (ICU mortality, six-month mortality) and change in Karnofsky Performance Status (KPS) score. Results: The average age was 55.9 (20-83) and 62.8 (27-89) years in the MBT and ST group, respectively (p = 0.10). ICU mortality was 15% and 21% (p = 0.411) and six-month mortality was 46% and 65% (p = 0.10) in the MBT and control groups, respectively. The most common reasons for ICU admission were seizures (36%) and septic shock (21%) among MBT patients, compared to hypoxic respiratory failure (43%) and septic shock (30%) among ST patients. The MBT group’s KPS score decreased by 23.6 ± 26.82 during their ICU admission, while the control group KPS decreased by 27.0 ± 28.3 (p = 0.87). Average length of ICU stay was 3.82 ± 4.4 days in the MBT group, compared to 2.95 ± 1.83 days in the control ST group (p = 0.29). Average length of hospital stay was 9.07 ± 9.0 days in the MBT group and 8.67 ± 7.76 days in the ST group (p = 0.92). Conclusions: No significant difference was observed in ICU or 6-month mortality when comparing primary MBT and ST patients. Change in KPS score across ICU admissions was similar among the two groups. Our data indicate that despite their guarded prognosis, MBT patients fare no worse than those with other solid tumor types at our institution in the critical care setting. These similarities in mortality and functional scores justify medical ICU admission in patients with primary brain malignancy, and should inform intensivist and oncologist admission patterns.

With the development of science and technology, modern science and technology are more and more widely used in the field of sports, which not only promotes the scientific development of track and field system teaching but also makes great changes in the way of track and field system teaching. Many methods of sports evaluation using modern science and technology have been accepted by people and have been widely used in teaching, especially in the evaluation of sports achievements. However, there are few scientific and technological methods for the evaluation of sports technology. Track and discipline instructing is an extraordinarily complicated sport. The instructing of bodily schooling forte has accompanied the standard instructing technique for a lengthy time. The focus and evaluation of teaching are usually determined by teachers’ teaching experience. This teaching method is often blind and lack of pertinence and scientific. In order to improve the overall level of track and field system teaching, a scientific and reasonable quantitative mode can be adopted. This paper uses the improved algorithm of fuzzy set centre of gravity set to analyse the existing teaching. The algorithm offers fuzzy interval rating by means of comparison experts, calculates the centre of gravity of the endpoint of interval score, considers the weight of a number influencing elements and the authority of experts, and offers complete decision-making opinions. The algorithm makes full use of expert evaluation opinions and is easy to operate. Evaluation examples verify the scientific and accuracy of the algorithm. The results show that the algorithm conforms to the scoring law of track and field system teaching, has a certain practical effect on the objective evaluation of sports results, and can help teachers clearly understand students’ sports skills.

Abstract Purpose: Oncogenic genital diseases, triggered by genital dysbiosis and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection, can be prevented by improved health literacy in women. However, uptake of preventative strategies such as the HPV vaccine, are low in some U.S. communities (&lt;50%). This study evaluated health literacy (language framing for and understanding of) basic genital biology and cervical cancer risk factors in U.S. college women. Methods: English-speaking undergraduates (n=36) at public (mostly Texas) and private (mostly California) institutions, self-directed to participate in individual, structured interviews via video or phone. Data transcripts were analyzed and scored for thematic responses to open-ended questions. Results: Over 80% of women wanted to know more about genital biology (“what is normal”) and cancer prevention. Individual understanding of genital biology and cervical cancer risk factors was low (scoring range from 0 = know nothing to 5 = understanding a lot). Knowledge (mean +/- SD) about normal vaginal bacterial physiology, and cervical cancer risk factors, both scored very low at only 1 +/- 1. Over 2/3 of women lacked the words and/or agency to describe genital symptoms without stress to healthcare providers. About 1/3 of women had no ability to list any cervical cancer risk factors, with most in this group not recalling any prior genital health education. Recurrent barriers to improved health literacy included: 1) belief that information lacked pertinence to them based on faith or culture, 2) inhibited care-seeking due to privacy issues (e.g. family insurance or campus clinics), 3) misinformation about genital biology or cancer causes, and 4) poor willingness or opportunity to discuss genital health with providers. The most requested change to genital healthcare was a desire for a biology curriculum taught from a functional perspective (for greater accessibility across faiths and cultures) with closer implementation to college and sexual debut. Conclusions: Knowledge of genital biology and cervical cancer risks was low in this group of U.S. college women (mean score 1/5 for some aspects). Prevention of genital cancers requires a multi-pronged approach that addresses genital biology, while accepting varied social determinants of health and diverse domains of influence for women across the U.S. Citation Format: Joanna Ellington, Dennis Clifton, Jenny Fremlin, Erisa Stokes, Jessica Shuster. Abstract. The research about positive psychology establishes a link between high levels of optimism and hope with the physiological state and psychological well-being of individuals. The present article analyses the Psychological Capital and its pertinence in the current contextualization of organizations. The following are considered POB (Positive Organizational Behaviour) states: hope, resilience, trust and optimism. The sample is composed by 301 employees from Portuguese organizations, aged between 18 and 67 and with diverse academic qualifications and organizational functions. We applied the PsyCap Questionnaire (Luthans, Youssef, & Avolio, 2007), comprising four factors: Hope, Resilience, Optimism, and Self efficiency. The results indicate that the highest score corresponds to Self-efficiency, followed by Hope, Resilience and, lastly, Optimism. The psychological capital is analyzed according to personal data (gender, age, and academic qualifications), information concerning professional status (professional situation, time of work in the organization, managerial duties performance, and liquid monthly salary), and the organizational variables (size of the organization). The results are discussed taking into account the contributions of positive psychological capital, and the impact of current crisis scenario in lower levels of optimism. Keywords: Psychological Capital; Organizations; EmployeesResumo.

Background: Use of quality indicators is one strategy recommended to assess antimicrobial prescribing for pediatric inpatients. Objective: To achieve consensus from infectious diseases clinicians on quality indicators that characterize appropriate empiric antimicrobial use for the management of infectious syndromes in pediatric inpatients. Methods: This study was completed using the Delphi technique. The research team developed an initial list of quality indicators, informed by a literature search. A multidisciplinary group of health care providers with expertise in infectious diseases was invited to participate. The list was disseminated to this panel of experts using Opinio survey software. The experts were asked to rate the indicators on a 9-point Likert scale in relation to the following criterion: “The importance of each item in determining appropriateness considering benefit or harm at the individual or population level”. Consensus was defined as at least 75% agreement and a median score of 7 or higher. Results: Twelve of 31 invited experts completed at least 1 round of the survey, and 10 completed all rounds. Consensus was achieved on 28 of 31 proposed indicators after 3 rounds. Indicators with consensus were categorized under “empiric choice” (n = 12 indicators), “dose” (n = 5), “duration” (n = 2), “administration” (n = 4), “diagnosis” (n = 2), and “documentation” (n = 3). Six of the indicators for which consensus was achieved were rephrased by the experts. Conclusions: Consensus was achieved on quality indicators to assess the appropriateness of empiric antimicrobial use in pediatric patients. Clinicians and researchers can use these consensus-based indicators to assess adherence to best practice.

This paper proposes an intelligent 2ν-support vector machine based match score fusion algorithm to improve the performance of face and iris recognition by integrating the quality of images. The proposed algorithm applies redundant discrete wavelet transform to evaluate the underlying linear and non-linear features present in the image. A composite quality score is computed to determine the extent of smoothness, sharpness, noise, and other pertinent features present in each subband of the image. The match score and the corresponding quality score of an image are fused using 2ν-support vector machine to improve the verification performance. The proposed algorithm is experimentally validated using the FERET face database and the CASIA iris database. The verification performance and statistical evaluation show that the proposed algorithm outperforms existing fusion algorithms.

We present the Pharmacorank search tool as an objective means to obtain prioritized protein drug targets and their associated medications according to user-selected diseases. This tool could be used to obtain prioritized protein targets for the creation of novel medications or to predict novel indications for medications that already exist. To prioritize the proteins associated with each disease, a gene similarity profiling method based on protein functions is implemented. The priority scores of the proteins are found to correlate well with the likelihoods that the associated medications are clinically relevant in the disease’s treatment. When the protein priority scores are plotted against the percentage of protein targets that are known to bind medications currently indicated to treat the disease, which we termed the pertinency score, a strong correlation was observed. The correlation coefficient was found to be 0.9978 when using a weighted second-order polynomial fit. As the highly predictive fit was made using a broad range of diseases, we were able to identify a general threshold for the pertinency score as a starting point for considering drug repositioning candidates. Several repositioning candidates are described for proteins that have high predicated pertinency scores, and these provide illustrative examples of the applications of the tool. We also describe focused reviews of repositioning candidates for Alzheimer’s disease. Via the tool, an open online interface is provided for interactive use, and there is a site for programmatic access.

Introduction: We aimed to evaluate the utility of FDG-PET/CT in diagnosing polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) and associated large-vessel vasculitis (LVV). Methods: We analyzed FDG-PET/CT completed between 2015 and 2019 on patients diagnosed with PMR. For comparisons, patients with PMR were matched 1:1 to controls based on age and gender. FDG-PET/CT had been completed on the controls over the same period. The FDG uptake was scored visually for 17 articular or periarticular sites and 13 vascular sites using a semi-quantitative scoring system (score of 0–3). Results: Eighty-one patients with PMR and eighty-one controls were included (mean age 70.7 (9.8) years; 44.4% women). Significant differences between the PMR and control groups were found at all articular and periarticular sites for the following: (i) the FDG uptake score (p < 0.001 for all locations); (ii) the number of patients per site with significant FDG uptake (score ≥ 2); (iii) the global FDG articular uptake scores (31 [IQR, 21 to 37] versus 6 [IQR, 3 to 10], p < 0.001); and (iv) the number of sites with significant FDG uptake (score ≥ 2) (scores of 0–17) (11 [IQR, 7 to 13] versus 1 [IQR, 0 to 2], p < 0.001). No significant differences in the global FDG vascular uptake scores were found between the patients who were considered isolated PMR and the control groups. Conclusions: The FDG uptake score and the number of sites with significant FDG uptake could be pertinent criteria for the diagnosis of PMR. Unlike others, we did not confirm the presence of vascular involvement in patients with isolated PMR.
