Sate Ikan Tanjung ini sudah sangat melekat di dalam ingatan masyarakattanjung maupun diluar tanjung. Wisata tidak hanya berbicara mengenai keindahan alam, namunjuga termasuk juga kuliner. Ketika berkunjung kesuatu daerah, hal yang tidak boleh terlewatiyaitu mencicipi kuliner khas daerah tersebut. Perlu pemahaman bagi wisatawan untukmengetahui makanan khas daerah Tanjung, prosespembuatannya dan tentu juga akanberdampak meningkatkan pendapatan bagi usaha dagang Sate Ikan Tanjung.

Namun, masih ada beberapa yang tidak menerapkan hal ini salah satunya adalah rumah makan Babacakan Sate Maranggi yang masih secara manual mengolah data menggunakan Microsoft excel. Sistem yang masih manual ini menyebabkan sering terjadinya kesalahan yang ada. Sehingga peneliti berkeinginan untuk membuat perancangan sistem informasi penjualan pada Babacakan Sate Maranggi yang terkomputerisasi agar pengolahan data, kegiatan transaksi dan perekapan data menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Dengan adanya sistem yang terkomputerisasi ini dapat memaksimalkan pendataan yang ada pada Babacakan Sate Maranggi dikarenakan data tersimpan ke dalam database. Proses transaksipun dapat dengan mudah dilakukan sehingga dapat menghemat banyak waktu. Perselisihan data yang biasa terjadi antara barang keluar dengan transaksi penjualan dapat dicegah sehingga memungkinkan melakukan pendataan secara maksimal dengan penggunaan sistem yang terkomputerisasi. Dan juga meminimalisir kesalahan yang ada pada Babacakan Sate Maranggi. Sistem informasi penjualan ini memudahkan para pegawai dalam melakukan perekapan data yang akurat sehingga pembuatan laporan akan menjadi lebih efektif dan juga efisien karena data yang tersimpan ke dalam database secara otomatis dapat dicetak. Pencarian data yang dibutuhkan akan lebih mudah dilakukan dan meminimalisir terjadinya kehilangan data yang dapat merugikan rumah makan.

Efek terjadi Covid 2019 telah mempengaruh ekonomi secara lokal maupun nasional termasuk pada sektor UMKM termasuk didalamnya pada sektor kuliner dengan menurunya jumlah penjualan, penurunan produk dan tenaga kerja. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemasaran UMKM Sate Bebek Di Tambak Banyumas. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT dengan mengunakan Diagram IFA dan EFE dengan menggunakan 3 sampel usaha pada penjual sate bebek. Hasil dari kajian ini adalah bahwa UMKM Kuliner Sate Bebek semakin kompetitif, adanya peningkatan daya saing dengan adanya peningkatan pada promosi yang dilakukan pemilik, pada posisi Growth Oriented Strategy dengan mendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan yang agresif dan ke-3 usaha yang diteliti pada posisi kuadran pertama, menunjukkan bahwa usaha mereka berada di posisi yang sangat baik, mampu memanfaatkan berbagai peluang yang muncul untuk terus berkembang, tumbuh dan mencapai kemajuan yang maksimal

Klatak satay is an iconic food originating from the Bantul Regency of Yogyakarta. Sate klatak was named the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Indonesia in 2019 by the Ministry of Education and Culture. As an Intangible Cultural Heritage, satay klatak needs to be preserved so that the regeneration process continues and its existence remains sustainable. Tourists coming to eat Sate Klatak have various motivations. The purpose of this study is to review the motivation, perception, post-consumption behaviour of domestic tourists Sate Klatak East Imogiri, Yogyakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The data collection technique is by distributing online questionnaires via WhatsApp and Instagram. The results showed that the biggest motivation for tourists to consume satay klatak Imogiri was recommendations from friends and relatives. Furthermore, Sate Klatak East Imogiri is incredibly well-received because of its popularity, taste, and appearance. Tourists also show satisfaction in post-consumption behavior, namely, returning and recommending it to relatives. The theoretical implication of this study is that these three variables can be used as indicators of local culinary evaluation. Meanwhile, as a practical implication, the research results can be used as suggestions for local culinary development in destinations, especially Sate Klatak East Imogiri

UKM Awal Putra Mandiri is an activist for the city of Serang's superior product Sate Bandeng so that it can develop by seeing a sustainable business opportunity by exploiting existing potential. UMKM Sate Bandeng Awal Putra Mandiri, is one of the UMKMs that provides Sate Bandeng products and has product supplies at the national level. The results obtained from the discussion contained problems that were experienced, namely that technology had not been implemented which was able to detect the freshness and content of dangerous substances in milkfish raw materials in a real-time, practical manner. This Community Service activity includes dissemination and training on Integrated Embedded Sensing System technology products for detecting the level of freshness of food ingredients and the content of dangerous substances. The implementation of Community Service activities runs well and smoothly, so that employees and UKM owners are very interested in using technological tools. Apart from that, this activity can reduce the costs incurred by UKMs due to mistakes in buying fish that is not fresh.. Abstrak UKM Awal Putra Mandiri merupakan penggiat produk unggulan kota Serang Sate Banden g sehingga dapat berkembang dengan melihat suatu peluang usaha yang berkesinambungan dengan memanfaatkan potensi yang ada. UMKM Sate Bandeng Awal Putra Mandiri, menjadi salah satu UMKM yang menyediakan produk Sate Bandeng dan memiliki pasokan produk ke tin gkat nasional. Hasil yang didapatkan dari diskusi terdapat permasalahan yang di alami yaitu belum diterapkan teknologi yang mampu mendeteksi kesegaran dan kandungan zat berbahaya pada bahan baku ikan bandeng yang real- time, dan praktis. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat inimeliputi diseminasi dan pelatihan produk teknologi Integrated Embedded Sensing System untuk deteksi tingkat kesegaran bahan pangan dan kandungan zat berbahaya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar, sehingga para karyawan dan owner UKM sangat tertarik dengan menggunakan alat teknologi. Selain itu, dari kegiatan tersebut mampu menekan biaya pengeluaran UKM untuk kesalahan membeli ikan yang tidak segar.

ABSTRACT Pokea is endemic animals originating from the Southeast Sulawesi region. Pokea meat processing is generally made into satay. This study aims to determine the chemical content and heavy metal of pokea satay which is sold in the Toronipa Beach Tourism Object, Southeast Sulawesi. The research method will be conducted in the form of representative sampling from satay pokea traders accompanied by interviews related to the processing of satay pokea, measurement of water content, protein, fat, ash, Fe, and Pb content. Based on the test results, it showed that the chemical content and heavy metal of satay pokea varied. The highest water content is 43.33%, the highest ash content is 19.17%, the highest fat content is 39.36%, The highest content of water, ash, fat, protein, Fe and Pb are 43.33%, 19.17%, 39.36%, 66.04%, 6.00 ppm and <0, 01 ppm respectively. Keywords: Fe, Heavy, Satay pokea, PbABSTRAKKerang pokea adalah hewan endemik yang berasal dari daerah Sulawesi Tenggara. Pengolahan kerang pokea umumnya dibuat menjadi sate kerang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan kimia dan kandungan logam berat sate kerang pokea yang dijual di daerah Objek Wisata Pantai Toronipa, Sulawesi Tenggara. Metode penelitian yang akan dilakukan berupa pengambilan sampel representatif dari pedagang sate pokea disertai wawancara terkait pengolahan sate pokea, pengukuran kadar air, protein, kadar lemak, kadar abu, kadar Fe dan Pb. Berdasarkan hasil uji, menunjukkan bahwa kandungan kimia dan logam berat sate pokea bervariasi. Kadar air tertinggi yaitu sebesar 43,33%, kadar abu tertinggi yaitu 19,17%, kadar lemak tertinggi 39,36%, kadar protein tertinggi 66,04%, kadar Fe tertinggi 6,00 ppm dan kadar Pb untuk setiap sampel < 0,01 ppm.Kata kunci: logam berat, logam Fe, logam Pb, Pantai Toronipa, sate pokea

Effective conservation planning in the face of rapid land use change requires knowledge of which habitats are selected at landscape scales, where those habitats are located, and how species ultimately respond to anthropogenic disturbance. I assessed sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) large scale habitat ecology and response to energy development in the winter and nesting seasons using radio-marked individuals in the Powder River Basin, Montana and Wyoming, USA. Landscape scale percent sagebrush (Artemisia spp.) cover at 4-km2 was the strongest predictor of use by sage-grouse in winter. After controlling for vegetation and topography, the addition the density of coal-bed natural gas wells within 4 km2 improved model fit (AIC -6.66, wi = 0.965) and indicated that sage-grouse avoided energy development. Nesting analyses showed that landscape context must be considered in addition to local scale habitat features (wi = 0.96). Findings provide managers a hierarchical filter in which to manage breeding habitats. Twice the amount of nesting habitat at 3, 5 and 10-km scales surrounded active leks versus random locations. Spatially explicit nesting and wintering models predicted independent sage-grouse locations (validation R2 ≥ 0.98). I incorporated knowledge of energy impacts into a study design that tested for threshold responses at regional scales analyzing 1,344 leks in Wyoming from 1997-2007. Potential impacts were indiscernible at 1-12 wells within 32.2 km2 of a lek (~1 well / 640 ac). At higher wells densities a time-lag showed higher rates of lek inactivity and steeper declines in bird abundance 4 years after than immediately following development. I spatially prioritized core areas for breeding sage-grouse across Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Utah and the Dakotas and assessed risk of future energy development. Findings showed that bird abundance varies by state, core areas contain a disproportionately large segment of the breeding population and that risk of development within core areas varies regionally. My analyses document behavioral and demographic responses to energy development, offer new insights into large scale ecology of greater sage-grouse and provide resource managers with practical tools to guide conservation.

Methodology: The Behavioral and Environmental Safety Program (B.E. Safe) for Early Childhood Professionals is being developed in response to Federal Safety regulations for childcare procedures and addresses social and emotional safety concerns. The curriculum includes Family Life Education content areas focusing on diversity, inclusion, social and emotional health, bullying prevention, supporting children with special needs, building relationships with parents, and understanding children’s behavior. Discussion of existing research: Research states that high quality childcare and education benefits all children (DHSS, 2015). Best practices indicate that Early Childhood Professionals need high quality training to be equipped to understand child development, strategies for working with families, and having the resources for supports when including children with disabilities in early childcare programs (DHSS, 2015). Not only should Early Childhood Professionals be equipped with the tools and resources to understand children’s behavior, educators need to demonstrate competency in state regulations, environmental safety for children, and playground safety (Sheridan, Edwards, Marvin & Knoche, 2009). B.E. Safe allows Early Childhood Professionals to engage in a research-based training that will help to ensure safety within their center. Connection to Theory: Behavior theories of child development incorporate environmental influences on behavior (Shute & Slee, 2015). A child’s early learning environment and the adults influence of children affects emotional, social, and physical development. B.E. Safe relates to Vygotsky’s Sociocultural Theory (1978) suggesting that children learn actively through hands on experiences. The Sociocultural Theory suggest that parents, caregivers, and a child’s environment from a young age is largely responsible for higher order functions (Shute & Slee, 2015). Proficiency in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) will allow participants to grasp how traumatic events can affect a child’s developmental process. Educating early childcare professionals on ACEs will allow for adults to be aware of what to look for, and how to keep children protected from adverse experiences (Sacks, Murphey & Moore, 2014). How will the study add to knowledge/innovative practice? Family Scientists will gain knowledge on best practices for providing Family Life Education to Early Childhood Professionals. Specifically, participants will gain knowledge on promoting inclusion, understanding behavior issues, developmental delays, and how to keep children safe from potential environmental hazards.

As drones and autonomous cars become more widespread it is becoming increasingly important that robots can operate safely under realistic conditions. The noisy information fed into real systems means that robots must use estimates of the environment to plan navigation. Efficiently guaranteeing that the resulting motion plans are safe under these circumstances has proved difficult. We build a mathematical framework for analyzing the quality of estimated geometry, rigorously developing the notion of shadows. We then examine how to use these tools guarantee that a trajectory or policy is safe with only imperfect observations of the environment. We present efficient algorithms that can prove that trajectories or policies are safe with much tighter bounds than in previous work. Notably, the complexity of the environment does not affect our method's ability to evaluate if a trajectory or policy is safe. We also examine the implications of various mathematical formalisms of safety and arrive at a mathematical notion of safety of a long-term execution, even when conditioned on observational information.

In photon-gated spectral hole burning, a hole is formed via a higher excited state produced by simultaneous laser irradiation at two different wavelengths1). One is the wavelength-selective light which promotes the ground state molecules to the first excited state, and the other is the gating light which promotes the excited molecules to the higher excited reaction sate. Only the wavelength-selective light is required to read out spectral holes and the recorded holes are not destroyed. Moreover, the gating light pumps the molecules up to the reaction state effectively, which may break through the bottleneck effect and enhance the recording sensitivity.

Pipeline risk assessment has been a major concern for Mexico’s Oil Sate Company (PEMEX) for the last couple of decades. During this period of time, isolated efforts from the different subsidiary bodies (upstream, midstream, and downstream) have been made regarding this matter, including the implementation of powerful software tools. However, due to several factors, none of these has provided an optimum solution for the company until now as they do not serve specific needs from PEMEX according to the country’s social and geographical environments. Besides that, a different software tool has been used by each subsidiary body, generating variations in practice and dissimilar criteria when assessing risk. A project sponsored by the Ministry of Energy in Mexico and the National Council of Science and Technology seeks to address these issues by developing a unique and customized software solution for pipeline risk assessment in PEMEX. This paper presents the progress made so far regarding the development of this tool.

Language plays a pivotal role in science teaching and learning as it serves as both the medium through which the teachers and learners think and also communicate in the classrooms. Science and Life sciences in particular comprises of a unique scientific language register with a lot of technical words and terms borrowed from other languages other than English. Previous researchers acknowledged the difficulty teachers face when teaching science in a language different from their own and that of the learners. Consequently, the current study explored the various ways in which English-second-language Life Sciences teachers taught Life Sciences in order to mitigate language difficulties for themselves and those of their learners. The study was guided by the research question: how does English as a second language influence teacher practices when teaching Life Sciences to grade 12 learners? Using a qualitative research design, six Life Sciences teachers with various levels of teaching experience, two novices, two relatively experienced and two very experienced teachers, were purposefully selected from six different schools. The assumption was that teachers at various levels of experience may have different experiences of teaching the subject in a second language. Each teacher was observed once whilst teaching the same topic to grade 11 Life Sciences learners to establish their teaching practices. Incidences of learner engagement with the content, teacher-learner and learner-learner interactions were captured and scored using the Reformed Teaching Observation Protocol rubric. Lesson observations were suitable for data collection as they allowed the researcher to examine even non-elicited behaviour as it happened. The findings indicated that language difficulties were prevalent and affected both teachers and learners in engaging with the concepts at hand. For instance, most of the teachers whether experienced or not, struggled to explain and elaborate vital Life Sciences concepts in a comprehensible manner due to lack of proficiency in the language of instruction. The teachers mostly utilised code-switching as it enabled them to explain and elaborate scientific terms and processes in both English and their home languages. Because learners were allowed to express themselves in their home languages, the level of interaction also increased. In addition, teachers used transliteration and demonstrations as teaching strategies that also reduced the challenges of using English as a medium of instruction. The study informs both pre-service and in-service teacher development programmes.

In this bibliometric analysis, the authors investigate the feasibility of collecting publications by DAAD-funded researchers and they explore insights into publication patterns that can be gathered from the outputs. While it was possible to extract a considerable set of publications, this process revealed the cruciality of unique author and publication identifiers. Regarding the affiliations of the funded researchers, an increase in connections with Germany can be observed around the funding period, with a large share continuing beyond the funding period. At the same time, German collaborators also establish additional links with sending countries as well. Finally, the DAAD funding can be linked to researchers and their work from a diverse set of countries, and various fields of science, although with a strong orientation towards the biomedical and health sciences and other natural sciences.
