The growth of urban areas has led buildings to come closer and closer to road traffic routes, exposing civil buildings to traffic vibrations, causing discomfort for users and damage to structures. Although there are numerical studies on traffic vibrations, effective vibrational isolation techniques are little explored in this research. A promising approach is the use of periodic structures. Although used in several areas of engineering, periodic structures still have limited application in civil engineering, especially to isolate vibrations caused by vehicles rolling on pavement in small buildings. In this context, this research developed three numerical finite element models for a small structure, which represent residential and/or commercial buildings with a number of floors equal to or less than three, in reinforced concrete. The first model involved a periodic block-type structure foundation, while the two comparative models included periodic raft-type foundations and block-type concrete foundations. The objective was to analyze the vibrational absorption of different foundations for forced vibrations arising from road traffic in the 1-50Hz range. In order to compare them and observe how beneficial the use of periodic foundation is, in the context of the study. The methodology used consisted of creating structural models using finite elements, applying boundary conditions to couple the foundation layers and the structure, establishing continuity. The study looked for modal responses, and in the frequency domain, resulting from excitation in the foundation, using the Ansys® software (2023) for all simulations. The results revealed that periodic foundations are capable of reducing amplitude peaks at frequencies above 30 Hz, which is beneficial for attenuating vibrations in this range. With an appropriate design, adjusting the geometric and physical parameters of the materials, it is possible to obtain effective vibrational isolation for structures, minimizing vibrations arising from ground waves in buildings. This suggests that the use of periodic structures would be promising in isolating vibrations caused by traffic in small structures.

§1. Introduction. Russell's type-theory can be seen as a theory of properties, relations, and propositions (PRPs) (in short, a property theory). It relies on rigid type distinctions at the grammatical level to circumvent the property theorist's major problem, namely Russell's paradox, or, more generally, the paradoxes of predication. Type theory has arguably been the standard property theory for years, often taken for granted, and used in many applications. In particular, Montague [27] has shown how to use a type-theoretical property-theory as a foundation for natural language semantics.In recent years, it has been persuasively argued that many linguistic and ontological data are best accounted for by using a type-free property theory. Several type-free property theories, typically with fine-grained identity conditions for PRPs, have therefore been proposed as potential candidates to play a foundational role in natural language semantics, or for related applications in formal ontology and the foundations of mathematics (Bealer [6], Cocchiarella [18], Turner [35], etc.).Attempts have then been made to combine some such property theory with a Montague-style approach in natural language semantics. Most notably, Chierchia and Turner [15] propose a Montague-style semantic analysis of a fragment of English, by basically relying on the type-free system of Turner [35]. For a similar purpose Chierchia [14] relies on one of the systems based on homogeneous stratification due to Cocchiarella. Cocchiarella's systems have also been used for applications in formal ontology, inspired by Montague's account of quantifier phrases as, roughly, properties of properties (see, e.g., Cocchiarella [17], [19], Landini [25], Orilia [29]).

This paper presents an analysis of raft foundation behavior and settlement estimation. Soil-structure interaction is incorporated into the studied models through the parameter k (modulus of the subgrade reaction). However, k is limited in applicability due to its lack of intrinsic connection with the soil. The rigidity of the foundation, superstructure, and their projection within the plant, all impact the k parameter, resulting in further constraints. Despite these limitations, integrating k into the analysis can lead to less conservative designs and viable raft foundation solutions that might otherwise be discarded. As a foundational parameter, the modulus of subgrade reaction is evaluated using theoretical expressions, tables, correlations, and empirical studies. This paper aims to present an assessment of the modulus of subgrade reaction and its distribution beneath the raft plate. The evaluation involves theoretical expressions and an indirect method to explore the potential benefits of employing different k values across distinct regions of the plate. The findings reveal a uniform distribution of modulus of subgrade reaction values, leading to the conclusion that incorporating an average of this parameter value in the plate's design analysis can yield satisfactory results. In conclusion, this research contributes to understanding raft foundation behavior in concrete structures by emphasizing the significance of soil-structure interaction through the incorporation of the subgrade reaction parameter k. By addressing the limitations and demonstrating its applicability, this paper encourages a safe, more efficient, and less conservative approach to raft foundation design.

Static Load Tests are foundation control tools used to assess the load capacity versus displacement behavior of piles. This article a challenging Static Load Test on the foundations of the new bridge under construction over the Araguaia River, in São Miguel do Araguaia-GO. The bridge has a total length of more than 1.1 km and during the load test, almost all of its structure was already executed in the central region of the river channel - place where one of the masts with 104m free span is located. To assess the load capacity and safety of the piles, a static load test was carried out, where the biggest challenge was the need to run it underneath the structure of the bridge, using it as a reaction system. There were 15 tubular steel piles in the reaction/foundation block, and the load test was successfully performed to 6000 kN. That test represented a significant challenge and required a high level engineering work. The paper presents all the work constraints, along with assembly and executive challenges to the achieved results.

The Ottoman Empire had inherited the waqf (charitable foundation) as an institutionalized form of charity from the Near Eastern Islamic states, which had preceded it. Over time, new forms of charitable foundations emerged, while with the expansion of the Empire, waqfs grew in number and spread geographically. Donors created over fifty thousand charitable foundations, making them into the most widespread institution in Ottoman history. Some waqfs, the largest ones in particular, survived for many centuries. However, sometimes continued functioning was under severe threat, due to wars, epidemics, natural disasters, and rebellions. To overcome financial straits, the waqfs resorted to a variety of measures. Occasionally, a royal waqf in difficulty received assistance from other foundations established by sultans and/or their relatives. Administrators reduced current expenditures, sometimes even suspending salaries and charitable services. Moreover, through long-term lease contracts involving substantial down payments by the lessees, waqf administrators often raised the money needed to restore damaged properties. In the present paper, we study Ottoman royal waqfs when exposed to adversities and financial hardships. As administrators reacted with considerable flexibility, the claim that the waqfs were rigid institutions is in obvious need of revision.

ABSTRACTThis article argues that Quine's holistic and naturalized semantics provides an inadequate account of the foundations of logical expressions and misrepresents the internal structure of theories. By considering a Quinean model of theoretical revision, I identify the status and foundation holism provides to the propositions of logic. I contend that a central tenet of Quinean holism—the Revisability Doctrine—cannot be held consistently, and that the inconsistencies surrounding it mark a series of pervasive errors within naturalized holism. In response, I propose that semantic theories must reflect the different linguistic functions of different types of expressions and the specific relationships that individual concepts within a theory or language have to one another.

AbstractThe construction of a systematic philosophical foundation for logic is a notoriously difficult problem. In Part One I suggest that the problem is in large part methodological, having to do with the common philosophical conception of “providing a foundation”. I offer an alternative to the common methodology which combines a strong foundational requirement (veridical justification) with the use of non-traditional, holistic tools to achieve this result. In Part Two I delineate an outline of a foundation for logic, employing the new methodology. The outline is based on an investigation of why logic requires a veridical justification, i.e., a justification which involves the world and not just the mind, and what features or aspect of the world logic is grounded in. Logic, the investigation suggests, is grounded in the formal aspect of reality, and the outline proposes an account of this aspect, the way it both constrains and enables logic (gives rise to logical truths and consequences), logic's role in our overall system of knowledge, the relation between logic and mathematics, the normativity of logic, the characteristic traits of logic, and error and revision in logic.

Learning shows that: first, the foundation of multicultural Islamic Education Development consists of religious, historical, psychological, sociocultural, and geographical foundations. Second, Multicultural Islam The strategy of developing education in Islamic educational institutions can be pursued through two approaches, namely quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative development strategies are by socialization and internalization programs through scientific activities, multicultural educational innovation programs, and building a culture that accommodates the spirit and values of multiculturalism in the Islamic environment of the institution. Meanwhile, the qualitative development strategy is intensive in the Qur'an and Sunnah study programs, curriculum revision programs, education and training programs for educators, and local wisdom programs.

Abstract Objective: To assess and refine competencies for the clinical research data management profession. Materials and Methods: Based on prior work developing and maintaining a practice standard and professional certification exam, a survey was administered to a captive group of clinical research data managers to assess professional competencies, types of data managed, types of studies supported, and necessary foundational knowledge. Results: Respondents confirmed a set of 91 professional competencies. As expected, differences were seen in job tasks between early- to mid-career and mid- to late-career practitioners. Respondents indicated growing variability in types of studies for which they managed data and types of data managed. Discussion: Respondents adapted favorably to the separate articulation of professional competencies vs foundational knowledge. The increases in the types of data managed and variety of research settings in which data are managed indicate a need for formal education in principles and methods that can be applied to different research contexts (ie, formal degree programs supporting the profession), and stronger links with the informatics scientific discipline, clinical research informatics in particular. Conclusion: The results document the scope of the profession and will serve as a foundation for the next revision of the Certified Clinical Data ManagerTM exam. A clear articulation of professional competencies and necessary foundational knowledge could inform the content of graduate degree programs or tracks in areas such as clinical research informatics that will develop the current and future clinical research data management workforce.

English Textbook is the one important thing for teaching English in the school. Thus, the teacher should know that English textbook function and the philosophical foundation. This study aimed to find out the philosophical foundation of Buku Bahasa Inggris for Senior High Schools Grade XII 2018 revision. This study used content analysis inferential. The object of the study was English textbook “Buku Bahasa Inggris” for Vocational High School grade XII 2018 revision. The step of the study began to read the English textbook, making note, coding the data, collecting the data, categorize and classify and analysis. Sample of this textbook were 4 chapters of 11 chapters that were chapter 1,2,3 and 5. Inferential data of this study that found by using construct analysis. The result of construct analysis show some conclusion. Based on analysis content inferential, the researcher found six of philosophical foundation of English textbook of Buku Bahasa Inggris for Vocational High School Grade XII 2018 revision. They were Progressivism, Social Reconstruction, Humanism, Existentialism, Perennialism, and Essentialism. Thus, Progressivism, Social Reconstruction and Humanism were the most appearing on the English textbook “Buku Bahasa Inggris”. The researcher conclude that the English textbook applied student centered learning and problem solving where we can find from the English textbook.

The subject of the study is revision of the philosophical, theoretical, and ideological foundations of the chronotopological model of being (the idea of the spatiotemporal organization of being developed by A.A. Ukhtomsky and M.M. Bakhtin) in the context of existentially oriented criticism of the modern philosophical situation and the subsequent rethinking of the dialectical and categorical schemes of classical European philosophy, to which Russian philosophical culture belongs. To date, the development of the chronotopological concept from a single term «chronotope» to a full-fledged autonomous philosophical discipline (such as phenomenology, philosophical hermeneutics, philosophical anthropology) seems im-possible without fundamental rethinking of the foundations of its not only logical but also existential con-sistency, which, in turn, is impossible without referring to the existential foundations of being of a mod-ern philosopher and modern philosophy. Existential completeness and authenticity are considered as the fundamental basis of philosophizing and philosophical conception in the struggle against existential in-completeness, alienation, and fallenness, which characterize the modern existence of human. In the con-text of the author’s version of the path of formation of the fundamental categorical base of chronotopolo-gy as an independent philosophical direction, its conceptual foundation is proposed, in which the synthe-sis of fundamental conceptual and dialectical schemes of the European philosophical tradition critically revised from an existential point of view is realized, and vectors of further concretization of the chro-notopological models of the universe, human being, social structure, cultural and historical development become possible. At the same time, the proposed scheme does not privatize or cancel other probabilistic trajectories of the evolution of the chronotope concept, which does not contradict the principle of existen-tial authenticity of the theory articulated by the study.

The present study aims to thoroughly examine the utilization of the educational platform Khan Academy as a highly effective teaching tool in the discipline of biology, specifically within the context of cellular biology, intending to analyze its impact on high school students' performance. Understanding the intrinsic processes of cells holds paramount importance in establishing a strong foundation in biological sciences, endowing cellular biology with a fundamental role in this context. Khan Academy represents an online teaching platform that adopts an innovative approach to facilitate learning, providing access to a broad spectrum of educational resources such as video lectures, practical exercises, and interactive materials. This study was conducted within the scope of a formal educational environment, relying on a controlled experimental method, aiming to meticulously evaluate the effects of employing this platform on students' learning process. The outcomes of this study indicated significant improvements in the academic performance of students who utilized Khan Academy as a supplementary resource. Students who engaged with this platform demonstrated a notable accumulation of knowledge, a deeper understanding of cellular biology concepts, and also expressed greater satisfaction regarding the learning process. The collected and analyzed data revealed that the use of Khan Academy had a positive impact both on the assimilation and retention of knowledge in cellular biology, clearly reflected in the academic results of the students. Thus, this study corroborates the potential of Khan Academy as a robust and effective tool in teaching cellular biology, offering valuable insights for educators, educational institutions, and students aiming to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in this specific area. The confirmation of these results reinforces the relevance of using innovative educational platforms in the contemporary educational context, especially in strengthening students' foundational knowledge and advancing their understanding in cellular biology.

In this paper, the authors take a multidisciplinary approach to textualisation, combining linguistic, textual genetic, and psycholinguistic theories and methods to examine how a text is formed or the textualisation process. They concentrate their efforts on the linguistic exploration of bursts of written language (i.e., the sequences of texts created between two pauses), which are regarded as performance units in and of themselves. In order to conduct their analyses, they use keystroke logging tools to record the writing process in real-time. This results in two corpora: the first contains social reports about children at risk written by professional writers, and the second contains academic reports written by students for a Discourse Analysis course. The first part introduces some of the theoretical issues that serve as the foundation for the Authors' point of view. The second part introduces the criteria for categorising bursts and the theoretical foundations on which they are based. The data are analysed in the third and fourth parts, including a detailed description of the burst classifications. Finally, during the fifth chapter, we examine the possibility of bursts as prefabricated performance units that may be routinely repeated and the variations between production and revision bursts.

The status, subject area and structure of engineering pedagogy are still at the center of the academic and scientific community. It develops as a professional pedagogy section, although it tended to be viewed as an educational module, as a field of teacher practical activity. The role of engineering pedagogy in developing engineering thinking should become increasingly important, taking into account the integration processes – inter-disciplinary, inter-subject, trans-professional, and the transformations in the industrial sphere in general and in engineering in particular. The transfer of its accumulated experience and ideas to new application areas can enrich other branches of knowledge with ideas, principles and cognitive approaches. Both methods of acquiring scientific knowledge and heuristic and practical technologies are equally essential for the system of continuous fundamental engineering and technical education development. Engineering pedagogy’s goals revision and clarification lead to a multidimensional space for engineering thinking development, including training of engineering educators for a lifelong learning system. Based on the general foundations and laws of pedagogy, three measurements of engineering pedagogy enable to reveal its interdisciplinary strategy in different subject areas. Engineering pedagogy can participate in various formats– as teacher training technology both for school and university teachers.

The numerical simulation model was established by using numerical simulation tools of FLAC3D, through establishing interface for digging foundation-soil, which can consider mutual effect of digging foundation-soil. Bearing capacities of the digging foundation in slopes is calculated. The affecting factors of the bearing capacity are analyzed. The results show that the bearing capacity has a positive correlation with the distance between the foundation and the slope and has a negative correlation with the slope ratio, which can be expressed as a quadratic polynomial. Nonlinear regression analysis of calculation data are carried out and the fitting formula of the capacity ratio between pile in the slope and pile in the flat is obtained. Finally, the calculation method of horizontal bearing capacity about pile in the slope is developed, which can provide a reference to specification revision and engineering.

UN Security Council Resolution 242 endorsed the ““inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war”” and called for ““withdrawal of Israeli armed forces from territories occupied”” in the June 1967 war. Since then, a debate has raged over whether these provisions call for a complete Israeli withdrawal, a minor revision of borders, or license for Israel to retain sovereignty over some of the conquered lands. This article argues that the resolution must be read through the lens of international law. A principled legal interpretation clarifies 242's ambiguities on withdrawal and re-establishes the importance of universal rights to a just and durable peace in the Middle East.

Dedicated to Dana Scott on his sixtieth birthday.It is common knowledge that for a short while Hermann Weyl joined Brouwer in his pursuit of a revision of mathematics according to intuitionistic principles. There is, however, little in the literature that sheds light on Weyl's role and in particular on Brouwer's reaction to Weyl's allegiance to the cause of intuitionism. This short episode certainly raises a number of questions: what made Weyl give up his own program, spelled out in “Das Kontinuum”, how did Weyl come to be so well-informed about Brouwer's new intuitionism, in what respect did Weyl's intuitionism differ from Brouwer's intuitionism, what did Brouwer think of Weyl's views,…? To some of these questions at least partial answers can be put forward on the basis of some of the available correspondence and notes. The present paper will concentrate mostly on the historical issues of the intuitionistic episode in Weyl's career.Weyl entered the foundational controversy with a bang in 1920 with his sensational paper “On the new foundational crisis in mathematics”. He had already made a name for himself in the foundations of mathematics in 1918 with his monograph “The Continuum” [18]; this contained in addition to a technical logical-mathematical construction of the continuum, a fairly extensive discussion of the shortcomings of the traditional construction of the continuum on the basis of arbitrary—and hence also impredicative—Dedekind cuts.

Abstract It has been well recognized that heavy structures built on soft soils, experience significant impact on seismic response, because of considerable foundation movements and hence, the effect of Soil-Structure-Interaction (SSI) can be a major factor while analyzing important structures like; nuclear power plants, elevated water tanks, chimneys, etc. against seismic forces. In general, elevated water tanks that were constructed on different type of soils in seismic regions, prior to the revision of seismic codes, must be checked on behavior and safety of such structures against earthquake loads as per present codes. In this paper, two similar elevated R.C. circular water tanks, each of 4.0 lakh liters capacity supported by two types of foundations; one with circular ring raft below the columns of tank resting on sandy soils, and the other with circular ring raft supported by piles embedded in black cotton soils, are chosen for carrying out seismic analysis. In the analysis, the water tank is idealized as a system with three degrees of freedom, treating the staging of tank as one spring attached to the mass of the water tank and the soil is treated with two springs; one in horizontal and the other in rocking mode, both attached to the soil mass and the response parameters like; time periods, base shears and displacements are worked out against earthquake loads. Results indicate that, irrespective of type of foundation, the soil play important role on seismic response of elevated water tanks by virtue of their configuration with top heavy mass and slender staging; particularly displacements are found high when they rest on loose soils. According to the new guidelines provided in the revised IS 1893 (Part-1) 2016 code, SSI effect should be considered in seismic analysis when the structure rests on loose or soft soils.

This paper proposed a method and process of stress relaxation forming based on initial geometric springback compensation-finite element optimization-revision by experiment iteration. Obtained material parameters of 2124 aluminum alloy by a series of foundation craft experiments; springback law on the structure of 2124 aluminum alloy by foundation experiment of autoclave forming of T test specimens, that use to compensate the mold surface with the geometric springback. The precision of the geometric springback compensation of the mold surface is about 3 mm; while after the finite element iteration optimization on the mold surface with the initial geometric springback compensation, the deviation of that between the testing date and the theory appearance of specimens can reach the magnitude about ±1.2 mm. Next use the mold “frequency domain” revision algorithm based on experiment iteration to revise local mold surface of the stress relaxation forming. The testing date shows the precision control in ±0.5 mm that satisfied with the application of engineering.

The data source was advertisements of Wardah and Revlon products, consisting of fifteen advertisements of Wardah and fifteen of Revlon. The products consisted of lipstick, liquid foundation and mascara. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative adopted qualitative data analysis procedures proposed by Miles & Huberman (1994), the theory of Stylistics analysis from Jeffries (2016). Types of meaning in Stylistics found in the data linguistic meaning with 528 data. The data is divided into graphology, phonology, and lexical. Graphology is divided into capitalization, punctuation, bold and italic. The total data of graphology gained 281 data. Capitalization is divided into the beginning of a sentence, product name, and descriptive word. The total data of capitalization gained 123 data. Punctuation is divided into full stops, commas, quotation marks, and exclamation marks. The total data of punctuation gained 49 data. Bold and italic gained 101 data. Phonology is divided into alliteration, assonance, and consonance. The total data of phonology is 156 data. Lexical is divided into one – base and a compound. The total data of lexical gained 99 data.

Combining with practical engineering, geometry optimization and engineering applications of transmission tower foundation in the slope is researched by using the finite-difference software FLAC3D. The variation of the pullout, vertical and horizontal ultimate bearing capacity with the diameter and length of the pile is analyzed. And optimization program of actual project is given. Research shows that when the pile length is constant, the variation of the pullout and vertical ultimate bearing capacity is increasing with the diameter increasing significantly and the horizontal ultimate bearing capacity is not significant. When the diameter is constant, the pullout, vertical and horizontal ultimate bearing capacity is increasing with the length increasing significantly. By analyzing nonlinear regression analysis of calculation data, the formula of the ultimate bearing capacity is carried out, which can consider the different pile diameters and lengths. When the gradient and distance of slopes is constant, the pullout, vertical and horizontal ultimate bearing capacity can be carried out with the formula, which can provide a reference to specification revision and engineering.

AbstractSuccessful arthroplasty of the knee requires a stable foundation for implant placement, adequate mechanical alignment, and durable fixation. In the revision setting, the later may be difficult to obtain, especially in the setting of significant bone loss. While augments, cones, and sleeves have greatly enhanced the modern knee surgeon's ability to gain fixation in metaphyseal bone, stems continue to be a cornerstone tool in revision arthroplasty to bypass deficient or damaged bone surfaces to enhance structural stability of a revision construct. When placing a revision construct, there remains two options to assist with fixation, either fully cementing the entire implant or using a “hybrid” system, which combines an uncemented press-fit diaphyseal stem with cement in both the metaphysis and metaphysis–diaphysis junction of the keel. In this review, we discuss the history of these two techniques, evaluate the theoretical benefits and pitfalls, and assess the best evidence supporting each in the literature. To conclude, we will examine future directions and questions needed to better elucidate the best treatment options in a variety of revision scenarios.

AbstractHilbert's finitist program was not created at the beginning of the twenties solely to counteract Brouwer's intuitionism, but rather emerged out of broad philosophical reflections on the foundations of mathematics and out of detailed logical work; that is evident from notes of lecture courses that were given by Hilbert and prepared in collaboration with Bernays during the period from 1917 to 1922. These notes reveal a dialectic progression from a critical logicism through a radical constructivism toward finitism; the progression has to be seen against the background of the stunning presentation of mathematical logic in the lectures given during the winter term 1917/18. In this paper, I sketch the connection of Hilbert's considerations to issues in the foundations of mathematics during the second half of the 19th century, describe the work that laid the basis of modern mathematical logic, and analyze the first steps in the new subject of proof theory. A revision of the standard view of Hilbert's and Bernays's contributions to the foundational discussion in our century has long been overdue. It is almost scandalous that their carefully worked out notes have not been used yet to understand more accurately the evolution of modern logic in general and of Hilbert's Program in particular. One conclusion will be obvious: the dogmatic formalist Hilbert is a figment of historical (de)construction! Indeed, the study and analysis of these lectures reveal a depth of mathematical-logical achievement and of philosophical reflection that is remarkable. In the course of my presentation many questions are raised and many more can be explored; thus, I hope this paper will stimulate interest for new historical and systematic work.

The article is devoted to clarifying the axiomatic foundation of the central place theory (CPT) and identifying the possibilities and limitations of the logical transition in research from real settlement systems to central place systems. The necessity of relying on the CPT axioms is determined in the following form: (1) the space of the CP system is not infinite, but finite: the basis of each system is formed by an isolated lattice; theory deals with physical space, not mathematical or geographical; (2) space is homogeneous and isotropic in all respects, with the exception of the distribution of not only the urban, but also the rural population; (3) the hexagonal lattice corresponds to the equilibrium state of an isolated CP system as an attractor; deviations from the hexagonal shape are the result of only external influence on the system; (4) CP systems are polymorphic–they can exist in modifications both with the same and with different values of K-parameter ∈ (1; 7] for all levels of the hierarchy. The axiom about the “rational” behavior of the consumer is accepted when establishing the hierarchy of the CP in terms of the functions performed; when establishing their hierarchy in terms of population, it is redundant. In contrast to the foreign approach to CPT, which involves the transfer of the properties of an ideal CP system to a real settlement system, within the framework of the Russian school approach, they are compared. The possibility of the latter is due to the equivalence principle in the relativistic version of the theory: the formation of settlement systems in geographic space occurs similarly to the formation of CP systems in physical space. In both cases, if the gravitational effects are compensated, it is impossible to distinguish the settlement system from the CP system, that is, a heterogeneous and anisotropic geographic space from a homogeneous and isotropic physical one. The immediate consequence of this is the equivalence, on the one hand, of the population size of settlements and population size of central places, and, on the other hand, of the distances between them in real settlement systems and CP systems.

Abstract. Nowadays, gaining competitive advantage depends on the organization’s capability to moving towards excellence and superiority in various dimensions. Creating competition with ethical principles means that, with scientific methods and strategic planning step towards strengthening the organization performance in the competitive market. There are many ways to gain the competitive market advantage and all that need to be appropriate and accordance with the cultural, political, human and structural conditions. Between all ways, one of the solutions that is more culturally, humane, and structurally appropriate to the organizational and the local business environment, and in practice, some organizations have proven it to be as a high-value or excellent and standard model, can name a model of E.F.Q.M (EUROPEAN, FOUNDATION, QUALITY, MANAGEMENT).Research methodology – This paper focuses on a conceptual analysis of the relations among establishing an excellence model in the organization and gaining competitive advantage. Here the EFQM excellence model is considered as a suitable framework for achieving the competitive advantage in the market for the organization. The revision of academic literature and logical analysis are the main methodological tools.Findings – The study shows that establishing competitive advantage foundations and excellence model in the organization and then evaluate and assessing them based on the components mentioned here, can achieve competitive advantage for the organization in the global scale, and in this sense, it is possible to define relationships and impact between each component of excellent model and those coming from the model on the competitive advantage.
