Among the research methods used and applied in carrying out this paper we mention: observation method, analytical method, the statistical-mathematical method and the method of graphic and cartographic representation and the basic tool is represented in the cartographic modeling by the ArcGis program. The Bihor football map includes 55 clubs, of which 12 have only activity with junior teams. The total number of clubs with junior teams is 31 and which totals 84 junior teams. A number of 24 clubs with senior teams 55.8% (out of 43) have no activity with junior teams. Most clubs that have junior activity are in Oradea 16, followed by Salonta 3, the rest of the localities having only one club. These clubs are distributed in 23 localities. Only 19 clubs with activity in the senior teams also have groups of children registered in official competitions. Through this study we aimed to improve the cartographic aspect the representation of the sports phenomenon in general and the football one in particular in order to show the importance of the cartographic product in the qualitative and quantitative spatial analysis, in the analytical and synthetic one.

Purpose – Golf started on September 30th, 1982, when Zhang Junlin registered and established Shenzhen Golf Club Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Administration. In September of the same year, it was approved by Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. The establishment of the first established golf club in China also marks the official entry of modern golf into the Chinese market. In 1997, Shenzhen University established the first golf major in China, and now there are nearly 600 golf courses in China. China’s golf industry is still developing at a high speed despite policy restrictions. However, there are still some deficiencies in golf vocational training in China. Through the analysis of the shortcomings, the reasonable development direction is put forward. Design/Methodology/Approach – With the development of golf industry, supporting education has also been carried out in China. Since Shenzhen University, many colleges and universities have also carried out related majors. Golf industry is not limited to golf, but also includes lawn planting, garden art, fashion design, sporting goods manufacturing, hotel management, real estate development, golf education and training, etc., which makes the golf industry bring a variety of jobs and personnel needs. It also makes golf clubs pay more attention to talent cultivation. In this paper, the problems existing in the training of golf talents in clubs and universities are listed and analyzed by means of investigation, to find out the appropriate direction. Findings – Children are an important member of golf club staff. How to carry out good caddy training and improve caddy’s professional level and comprehensive quality has become the task focus of golf club managers. At present, the common problems of golf caddies in China are: 1. There is no uniform training standard, which makes the quality of caddies uneven. 2. The income of caddies is unstable. 3. Most of the temporary employment relationships between caddies and clubs. 4. Caddy talent reserve can’t meet the needs of club staff. 5. Caddy occupation requires physical condition, and it is difficult to transform after unemployment. Research Implications – A good teaching foundation is an important way to cultivate talents, and only the mutual communication between clubs and colleges can help improve the ability of golf vocational training in China.

In recent years, some sport clubs have adopted web forums for online discussions about planning training sessions, races, club problems, sponsors and supporters, equipment and so on. Mostly, these forums are closed, because some discussions about critical information must be permitted only to registered club members. Indeed, various members are connected into a network representing a forum community that participates in forming the internal structure of a club and has taken an increasingly important role in solving the club affairs. This has influenced the classic way of doing business with meetings or calls and has allowed the community to participate in forming plans. This article deals with the deep analytics of data acquired from a web forum of a small cycling club located in Slovenia for a period of five years. The purpose of these analyses is to identify various members of the forum's community, track the dynamics of events as found in this forum, and search for hidden relationships.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to help develop the understanding of the nature of coopetition (collaboration as well as competition) and is set in the context of a Taekwondo organisation. Design/methodology/approach – Interviews were undertaken with 25 instructors in various clubs within New Zealand’s “International Taekwondo” (ITKD) together with 25 students and supplemented with triangulation against secondary data such as websites and media reports. Findings – The findings suggest that coopetition can be seen from various perspectives in order that the organisation as a whole benefits. Specifically, while the ITKD is a not-for-profit firm, individual clubs may compete for revenue from students joining them as opposed to rival clubs. However, clubs collaborate in various way such as once registered, students can train free at rival clubs and resources are to some extent pooled so the ITKD as a whole benefits, e.g. sending competitors overseas and bringing in senior people to undertake a promotion grading. Originality/value – The contribution is to offer insights into the nature of coopetition at the sports marketing/entrepreneurship interface by suggesting that the potential paradox of collaboration and competition can be explained by considering the benefits to an overall organisation as opposed to individual clubs within it.

Abstract Practicing sports at the age of puberty is important for the development of a harmonious body, as well as for the acquisition of the habit of practicing a sport activity by the teenagers to be during their spare time. This study relies on two data categories: the ones presented by the Romanian Federation of School and University Sports and the results of a vaster project developed by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport from Iasi in partnership with the School Inspectorate of Iasi County. The research identified the percentage of middle school pupils who have the status of registered sportsmen by carrying out a sociological survey at all the middle schools (36) from the Iasi city. The study monitored a number of 8911 pupils and the statistical processing of the data showed that 4.3% of them are registered at various school sports clubs or private clubs. These values have been compared with the data provided by the Romanian Federation of School and University Sports and we have reached the conclusion that the number of pupils who practice sports is highly heterogeneous.

CrossFit is recognized as one of the fastest growing training programs in the World. Due to its width of scope and essentially simple applicability, it has registered a large number of practitioners and clubs practicing it worldwide in the last ten years. Its simple and understandable concept has made it possible to create a large social capital - a large number of practitioners, instructors and clubs, which are also a part of the program promotion (word-of-mouth). In addition to becoming a category in itself, CrossFit has grown into a distinct culture, and the foundations of this program are its functionality and people’s need to exercise and live a healthy life. Due to the number of people practicing this program, the 5-digit number of CrossFit clubs worldwide and its large and continuous media presence, it can be said that CrossFit has become a constantly evolving global sports movement with a huge marketing potential. CrossFit is one of the best examples that simple things and ideas are usually the most effective in any branch, including the sports industry.

The small business sector has become an increasingly important segment of the Australian economy since the 1970s. Industrial relations in the sector have been assumed to be harmonious. However, to a large extent this belief about industrial relations is based on conventional wisdom rather empirical evidence. Industrial relations research in Australia has concentrated on medium to large businesses because the centralised nature of the industrial relations system encouraged a collective emphasis. This collective emphasis ensured peak representative bodies and larger organisations had a tendency to dominate while small enterprises and their employees were, to a large extent, excluded. The perceived non-problematic nature of industrial relations in the small business sector was another reason for the lack of focus on the sector. The low incidence of strike activity and the low levels of trade union membership have meant research has been concentrated on the more "difficult" areas of industrial relations. The lack of empirical research into industrial relations in the sector is an important shortcoming. There are a number of commentators who suggest that it is too simplistic to assume harmonious relations. It is likely that there is a range of industrial relations in small business, depending on a number of variables including the personality of the owner/manager and employees, the type of business and the current economic climate. The legislative framework will also have an important affect on industrial relations. This study addresses the lack of empirical research in industrial relations in the small business sector by examining the differences between small and large registered clubs in NSW. Registered clubs have an unusual ownership structure and unusual business goals. They are also unusual since they are non-profit organisations formed by groups of people who share a common interest and who have come together to pursue or promote that interest. Registered clubs are governed by a board of directors who are responsible for the formulation of policy and for ensuring that management carries out these policies. This study found that there were significant differences in regards to some aspects of employment relations. For example, small clubs were more likely to have lower rates of unionisation than large clubs. They were also likely to have lower levels of informal bargaining than large clubs. The methods of communication within the workplace were likely to be more informal in small clubs and they were less likely to have communications with a trade union. Despite this greater degree of informality in employment relations, small clubs were more likely to use award provisions to determine wages for their managers and employees. Interestingly, despite the lower level of unionisation and the greater use of awards by smaller clubs there were no significant differences between small and large club managers' perception of the impact of awards and trade unions on club flexibility. The findings from this study suggest the deregulation of the Australian industrial relations system may not have any significant benefits for small business.

The purpose of this study is to examine, from past, present and future perspectives how registered clubs in New South Wales (NSW), Australia strategically manage problem gambling in their machine gambling operations. Seven stages of research are presented and discussed in some detail. The final stage considers implications of key developments during 1998-1999 for the future management of problem gambling by NSW clubs. It was found that by the end 1999, the future direction of NSW in addressing problem gambling pointed toward a combination of legislation and self-regulation, under the leadership of the Registered Clubs Association of New South Wales. The thesis concludes by identifying seven key factors that emerged from the findings as influencing the way in which NSW clubs have managed problem gambling. These are presented as a theoretical framework with potential utility for future investigations of how organisations manage their social impacts.

Streszczenie:
New South Wales registered clubs are often defined as non-profit organisations, established by a community sharing a common purpose or characteristic (Hing, Breen & Weeks. 2002; IPART 2008). However, there has been a recent public discourse questioning the veracity of characterising clubs as not-for-profit organisations (Productivity Commission 2010b). Arguments here have centred on the expansion of club activities into areas that offer services in the free market (Productivity Commission 2010b). In effect, the diversification of club revenues (identified by IPART 2008) has called into question their position as not-for-profit organisations. With business models evolving through interaction between club and stakeholder, the process of business model evolution presented in this thesis resembles Linbolm’s (1959) ‘strategy as muddling through’. This is fundamentally different to the current literature which takes a much more deterministic stance, describing business model evolution as a process of radical change (Chesbrough & Schwartz 2007; Mitchell & Coles 2003) through open innovation (Chesbrough 2003; Mitchell & Coles 2003; Zott, Amit & Massa 2011). Current literature suggests that managers proactively engage with stakeholders in the determination of a business model. However, in Clubland, it appears that the business model is largely created in reluctant reaction to stakeholder claims. This process of incrementally responding to emergent challenges has fundamentally altered the initial design of business models in Clubland. While clubs were once organisations that provided cheap food and beverages to their members, clubs now sell food and beverages to provide for a wider community. As a result, the determination of ‘value’ to both members and the wider community has re-focused how managers determine stakeholder salience. Management’s determination of the changes to stakeholder salience is achieved through reciprocity, enacted for the purpose of gaining political clout. Reciprocity has driven the evolution of business models in Clubland and is seen as the key to survival.

This study has presented a thorough investigation of the integrity and the significance of the Augusta National Golf Club Course from 1934 to the present. The golf course still reflects the design philosophy of Alistair Mackenzie. Design features that have been retained provide this evidence. The hillocks and hollows in the golf course were identified to show Mackenzie's influence in the golf course of today. Changes have been made to Mackenzie's original design. Some changes caused great strategic and aesthetic differences in the golf course. Other changes were necessary due to the spectator and the demands of providing optimum on-site viewing of the Masters Tournament held anually at the Augusta National Golf Club Course. The modifications to the course were responses to the evolving game of golf as played in 1934 as compared to 1996. The significance of the golf course with respect to its Master Designer, Alistair Mackenzie, was shown to be sufficient to warrant the augmentation of its National Register status. Treatment of the landscape is suggested based on the criteria set forth in the study.

Introduction: Equestrian sport as a competitive sport first began in 1868 at the Royal Dublin Horse Show 1. Injuries, especially minor injuries, are seldom reported, and there are no regulatory requirements anywhere that compel formal injury notification of this sport 2. Objectives: The objectives were to describe a profile of horse riding injuries, to determine the association between the type of equestrian activity and location and mechanism of injury, the association between use and type of equipment and location of injury and to determine anthropometric and history variables associated with location of horse riding injuries. As well as determining if non riding related injuries were associated with riding related injuries in the same sites. Therefore, for the purpose of this study, the following information was gathered in order to build up an injury profile: Anthropometric values (age, height, weight, gender, ethnicity, dominant hand and medical aid) of competitive horse riders in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, The participants horse riding history, Their record of any past or current injuries, Factors associated with previous and current injuries were also investigated, Equipment and facilities used Methods: This study was a quantitative descriptive design, which was questionnaire based and was administered by the researcher at various competitions in KwaZulu Natal or sent via email to those not present at the competitions. The study was limited to adult members of the KwaZulu Natal Horse Society that competed in on the Olympic disciplines of dressage, show jumping and eventing. iv Results: There were 176 respondents to the study. The average age was 36.3 years. The vast majority of participants were White (99.4%) females (81%). The overall prevalence of injury was 90.3%. Muscle strains were the most common type of injury. The head was the most commonly injured site (46.4%), the lower back was the site most likely to be injured many times. Forceful falls were ranked as the most severe type of injury mechanism. Most injuries occurred whilst jumping (63.8%). Use of protective equipment was associated with injury prevention and protection. Muscle strains due to riding were significantly less common in those who presently did regular exercise. Having no medical problems was associated with not having any riding injuries. There was no significant association between riding and non riding related injuries.

Streszczenie:
Composed between the sixth and ninth centuries, penitentials were little books of penance that address a wide range of human fallibility. But they are far more than mere registers of sin and penance: rather, by revealing the multiple contexts in which their authors anticipated various sins, they reveal much about the ways those authors and, presumably, their audiences understood a variety of social phenomena. Offering new, more accurate translations of the penitentials than what has previously been available, this book delves into the potentialities addressed in these manuals for clues about less tangible aspects of early medieval history, including the innocence and vulnerability of young children and the relationship between speech and culpability; the links between puberty, autonomy, and moral accountability; early medieval efforts to regulate sexual relationships; and much more.

Streszczenie:

Streszczenie:
ABSTRACT Worldwide, conducting systematic research and control of sports-competitive activities is a severe premise to a well-programmed and managed training process. An important part of control in sports is determining the level of physical development for each gender and age. The aim of the study was to determine the level of physical development in girls up to U12, U14 and U16. The survey was conducted in March - September 2021. The subject of research are the signs of physical development in girls up to U12, U14 and U16. The object of research are the main signs of physical development. 173 girls were studied, divided into three age groups. All participants are basketball players, registered in clubs in Bulgaria. Sports and pedagogical testing were conducted with the participants with the test battery, which includes 7 indicators. The applied research methods are: review study of the specialized literature and sports-pedagogical testing. Depending on the objectives of the study, the following statistical methods were applied: Descriptive statistics, One-way АNOVA and Comparative analysis by Student‘s t-test for independent samples. The results show that the age has a positive effect on the studied anthropometric characteristics. In the selection of girls up to U12, who practice basketball, we should make some corrections and select taller children. Girls from U14 are more overweight but are within the obesity norms for their age group. There is a selection problem in girls U16. There are no tall children, as desired in basketball, among the three groups.

Tzvetkov, Stanislav. "APPLICABILITY OF RELATIVE OXYGEN CONSUMPTION FOR EVALUATION OF FUNCTIONAL WORK CAPACITY IN ADOLESCENT ATHLETES". W INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONGRESS “APPLIED SPORTS SCIENCES”. Scientific Publishing House NSA Press, 2022. http://dx.doi.org/10.37393/icass2022/76.

Streszczenie:
The evaluation of the absolute (VO2peak) and relative (VO2peak/kg) values of the peak oxygen consumption is an essen-tial component of exercise testing in athletes. However, according to many researchers, VO2peak/kg values in adolescent athletes do not provide sufficiently reliable information to assess their functional work capacity. The present research aims to investigate the applicability of relative values of oxygen consumption for accurate estimation of functional work capacity in adolescent athletes. The research subjects were twelve basketball players from a junior club team participating in the state championship of Bulgaria. They carried out two maximum bicycle exercise tests with a twelve-month period between the two tests. We analyzed the registered absolute and relative peak power output (Wattpeak, Wattpeak/kg) and peak oxygen consumption. It was established that there was a significant increase in average Wattpeak (8.5%), Wattpeak/kg (6.2%), and VO2peak (3.7%) during the second test as compared to the first one. At the same time, in all subjects, no signif-icant increase in VO2peak/kg (average of 0.9%) was registered. This result is associated with the athletes’ increased body weight (average of 2.7%) during the second test. Based on the lack of VO2peak/kg dynamics compared to the significant increase of Wattpeak, Wattpeak/kg, VO2peak, it can be concluded that the isolated use of VO2peak/kg for functional capacity analysis may result in significant errors in estimating the functional work capacity of adolescent athletes.

Streszczenie:
Like in other surveying works, UAV flights require prior work that involves flight planning and equipment preparation and, often, many complementary tasks. These may involve bringing together technicians from different domains, booking a car and possibly accommodation, and some time-consuming complementary bureaucratic work. Teams operating UAVs know how much the flights are affected by weather conditions. The wind is the weather variable that, in proportion (number of occurrences per year), causes the major number of changes to a scheduled work. Obtaining reliable information about the intensity of the wind, a few days in advance, is an asset for those who have to carry out the various tasks mentioned previously. There are several websites from which one can access weather forecasts. Is any website better because it presents more reliable data? The data and the analysis presented in the paper will give some clues. The data includes wind speed, registered daily, at 12:00 (pm) for a year, by a meteorological station with online data, which belongs to a meteorological institute. Also on a daily basis, several websites with meteorological data were consulted, and wind speed forecasts for the same hour for up to four days in advance were collected. An analysis of the data can provide information about whether there is a website that stands out for the quality of the forecasts, and if there is a need to consult several websites to have better information.

Streszczenie:
If there is an issue that is particularly hard to understand for students in statistical inference that is the concept of the distribution of a combination of random variables: an estimator. In a massive, 300 or more students’ classroom, the challenge is even greater. This situation is common at the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Córdoba (FCE- UNC), Argentina, with more than 12,000 students. The purpose of this work is to show how to take advantage from the production of Scorm materials that facilitate the integration of resources available on the web to improve the study of statistical issues in mass classrooms through the interaction with Moodle platform. Based on Exe Learning, an SCORM was developed. This is an interactive material to complement the study of Sampling Distributions. Includes sections designed to ensure understanding of the concepts, based on the use of simulators from the Rice University and auto evaluation questions. You may visit the site at: http://aulas.eco.unc.edu.ar/course/view.php?id=7 Implemented in a course of statistical inference at FCE-UNC it seems to be a very good alternative in the search for high degree of personalization in the interaction with the students, despite the massiveness of the number of attendees. A personal score is assigned on the base of the student interaction with the Scorm and registered in Moodle. Feedback is automatically generated while using the app (correct answers are stimulated with Genial! Well done!, etc. and those wrong with clues to get to the correct answer and an expression of encouragement: Try again! It is important to remark that this kind of materials also seem to be an excellent tool to motivate teachers (materials production) and students (Statistics education in the age of social networking and distance education). Also are intended to close the gap in advancing Statistical education using technology and mobile devices.

Streszczenie:
The marriage between Clara and Robert Schumann is one of the most popular relationships in music history. In 1840, a song cycle named Liebesfrühling with songs from Clara Schumann as well as from her husband was collectively published under their names. Despite the fact that the married couple did not specify the voice register and gender of the vocal parts within the score, some hints indicating the gender of the personas can be found for instance in the personal pronouns of the text. Yet, some parts of the song cycle do not provide such clues, leaving the question, to which gender the vocal parts are ascribed, completely open. Nevertheless, some scholarly examinations like Melinda Boyd’s publication Gendered voices. The “Liebesfrühling” Lieder of Robert and Clara Schumann try to answer this question using semiology as a method to indicate gender assignments. However, this raises the question of how far gender aspects can be examined through semiotic approaches. What symbols are used to specify gender? Did this change in history? And can these ascriptions be found in the music of Clara and Robert Schumann? The chosen method will show difficulties because of its time-constraint and the problem of relevancy. This is why the proposed theses of Boyd will be inspected regarding the text and the score of the song cycle Liebesfrühling. At the same time, the investigation will try to consider the importance of contemporary performance practice.
