With a well-timed call or a well-worded media release, even a mediocre publicist can plant a story that becomes news. Not only are the opinions of critics and readers thus informed, but professionals also are swayed by a successful media campaign, a fact evident to anyone who has followed the vote-influencing scandals of the Oscars during the last few years. Awards are a publicist’s greatest weapon. To both the public and the professional, an award means that an individual’s peers, fans, or critics have judged him or her “the best.” It is in this sense that awards function as the custodians of history, for they validate the partisan truths of all those publicity releases, previews, and advance stories that pass as “critical opinions.”

The article deals with the topics and themes of materials of V. Portnikov, the well-known political journalist in Ukraine and abroad. The urgency of scientific research is to study and expand the scientific discourse on political journalism, its topics and themes, relevance and reliability of information and introduction of new names. The objective of the study is to identify and analyze the main thematic lines and features of themes of V. Portnikov’s journalistic materials. The task of the study is to carry out a brief biographical analysis, which is necessary for understanding the personality of V. Portnikov; to ascertain and to generalize the thematic range of publicist’s materials; to define the problems of author’s materials through the line of topical issues, political situation and processes in Ukraine and the world as whole; to systematize creativity and professional attitudes of a publicist to political processes, leadership, states, authorities, regimes, etc. that helped in achieving the objective of the study. The methodological basis of the study that consisted of the topics and themes of V. Portnikov’s political journalism was based on the principles of historicity, objectivity, complexity and authenticity. A number of general and specific scientific methods were used to analyze the topics and themes of his publicistic materials. The descriptive method was used to outline the available materials of socio-political themes and topics of a journalist in the Internet outlet “Radio Liberty” for 2017-2018 and the first quarter of 2019. The content analysis method was used to identify the problem-thematic aspect of the publicist’s materials. The biographical method was used in studying the peculiarities of his creative activities and the method of differentiation in work was used to determine the thematic peculiarities and to find out the problematic aspects of his creativity. The qualitative analysis of V. Portnikov’s texts was the leading method of the study. The analysis of the author’s journalistic speeches showed that V. Portnikov accentuated the readers’ attention on the ugent issues, gave an objective and thorough assessment of the current situation. This author lets each topic pass through himself, thereby stimulating and appealing the audience to reflection, and also helped to understand and to rethink the most important sociopolitical processes.

Since the early 20th century, public relations has been implicated in the production and sustainment of celebrity. Celebrities rely on the work of publicists to strategically cast, produce, and place discourses within spheres of popular culture. Through an extended interview with Alan Nierob, publicist of transgender celebrity Caitlyn Jenner, this article is an analysis of celebrity public relations as a site of cultural intermediation. Drawing on Bourdieu’s notions of habitus, capital, and fields, this article sheds light on the practice of celebrity public relations to understand how publicists leverage cultural and social capital to construct legitimacy for their clients. This study contributes to a broader sociological understanding of celebrity public relations and opens new avenues for research in considering how publicity might translate into broader socio-political impacts.

The article examines characteristic English menemesin their stylistic significance, which are used as representatives of a contiguous linguistic picture of the world in the texts of the early publicistic works by N.S. Leskov in connection with the author's reasoning about social and cultural problems. English menemes are characterized as idiolectemes, verbalizers of cultural concepts, explicators of the intentions and pragmatic attitudes of Leskov the publicist, which is seen as the relevance and novelty of the research. English menemes are analyzed as components of an individual conceptual sphere, taking into account their associative and connotative potential. It is proved that the functioning of menems in the author's text as representatives of the contiguous linguistic picture of the world contributes to the transmission of conceptual information in an individual interpretation, as well as the formation of ethnic ideas. The role of English menemes in the text space of a publicist is determined. Their stylistic functions in a pragmatic aspect are revealed. Methods of observation, analysis applied to material extracted by targeted sampling, conceptual approach were used. Conclusions are formulated about the pragmatics of using English memes in the early publicistic texts of N. S. Leskov as demonstrators of the author's intention and means of forming the image of a foreign people. The article can be of practical importance for the expansion of linguistic forestry, the study of the Anglosphere, the linguistic picture of the world and similar formations, clarification of the functions of English vocabulary in the scale of the author's chronologically outlined supertext and its role in activating the reader's interpretation.

Nors Lietuvoje ir nebūta nuoseklių pozityvizmo sekėjų, atskiros pozityvizmo idėjos buvo plačiai paplitusios: buvo žinomi A. Comte‘o, H. Spencerio, E. Renano, C. Letourneau darbai. Jų idėjos buvo panaudojamos kovoje prieš klerikalizmą, populiarinant evoliucionizmą. Pozityvistiniais principais grindžiama etika priešpriešinta žmogaus religinei koncepcijai. Pozityvistinė metodologija turėjo įtakos kai kuriems J. Šliūpo, J. Adomaičio, V. Dembskio ir kitų XIX a. Lietuvos publicistų darbams, kuriuose lietuvių skaitytojai buvo supažindinami su pozityvistų idėjomis. Pozityvistinė filosofija, šalia vulgariojo materializmo, buvo religinės pasaulėžiūros opozicinių jėgų teorinis pagrindas. Ji padėjo įsitvirtinti Lietuvoje gamtos mokslų atradimais pagrįstai pasaulėjautai.

A short review of publicistic works of Charles de Mazade on Russia and Russian publicists’ and public figures’ comments is given in the article. On the basis of the journalist’s theses and phrases, a characteristic of his works is given: political views, his expectations and opinions on certain ideological companions and opponents. In the article the conclusion about a strong influence of de Mazade’d works on the Russian society is reached, the dynamics of his views on politics and social life is mentioned. The article enlarges the knowledge of perception of Russian Empire under Alexander II by French society, using articles and essays, which are famous abroad, but have not been translated into Russian.

Nowadays researching socio-political broadcasting of the 21st century is topical. The recent decades have witnessed a significant increase in the number of journalistic radio programs, evolution of their format and genre diversity, and improvement of broadcasting forms and approaches. However, modern radio publicism as independent form of public-oriented journalism has not been studied sufficiently. The article deals with theoretical ambiguity of the concept of publicism (political and topical journalism), determines its general characteristics and patterns, namely, depth of author’s thought, a high level of personification, strong emotion, direct appeal to the society, publicist’s own ideals and values, solemnity, prepossession, worldview forming, and rapid development during transition and crisis periods. The authors analyze correlation between the notions “publicism” and “publicist style”, and determine that the latter, being the journalist’s manner of interpreting a public phenomenon and a way of his/her identification with a particular community, is one of the characteristics of publisism. Meanwhile, the study shows that some media content of publicist-like style only imitates publicism, being in fact pseudo-publicism, whose influence is destructive due to its anti-civil and anti-social orientation, provocative character and intolerant attitude. The authors propose their own scientific definition to the term “radio publicism”, point out essential and functional characteristics of Russian radio publicism, its development trends and prospects, and determine universal features of modern radio publicism. The article also describes its current genre-and-format structure. Documentary publicist and art publicist genre groups, having their own verbal, compositional, structural, and functional features and radio audience, are distinguished as ontological categories of radio publicism. The research methods used by the authors include structure functional analysis, typological analysis, method of observation, comparative analysis, classification, and a systemic approach.

The article deals with the activities of D. A. Klements as a researcher of Siberia, its geography, archeology and ethnography. Dmitry Alexandrovich Klementz one of the most prominent representatives of the revolutionary populism of the 1870s, member of the Tchaikovsky circle, member of the “going to the people”, member of the Earth and Freedom organization, employee of its press organ , brilliant publicist, satirist, poet. In 1881 he was exiled to Siberia, where he spent 15 years. There he continued to actively engage in publicistic activities, first collaborating with the Siberian Newspaper (Tomsk), and then the Eastern Review (Irkutsk). At the same time, D.A.Klements was actively engaged in science. D. A. Klements made a significant contribution to the study of geography, archeology and ethnography of Siberia.

Adolf Kliszewicz (born 1879) was one of the leading publicists of the Second Polish Republic connected with the Christian-conservative trend. He was a publicist for many conservative magazines, including Przegląd Powszechny, Nasza Przyszłość or Ateneum Kapłańskie. The article concerns views of Adolf Kliszewicz on the doctrine and political system of Bolshevism. It should be noted that Kliszewicz based his analysis of Russian communist thought on the background of political tendencies that began to dominate in Europe. For him, Italian fascism and German national socialism were the reference point for reflections on Bolshevism. Additionally, the Polish journalist saw in the Russian communist doctrine the great danger of national and state existence. Radical socialism, as he treated Bolshevism, was an expression of the perversion of man and his enslavement by materialistic ideology.

The article is devoted to the activities of Borys Hrinchenko, the famous Ukrainian writer, poet, publicist and public figure, in periodicals in the territory occupied by the Nazi army during World War II. It is shown that the figure of Borys Hrinchenko and his multifaceted work found a response in hearts of the Ukrainian people in conditions of the hardships of World War II; editors of newspapers and periodicals often appealed to the works of famous writers, poets and publicists in all parts of Ukraine. It is found that the main content of the writer’s works was the struggle for the Ukrainian national cause and an independent state. The high interest in the figure of Borys Hrinchenko and his work during World War II is demonstrated by the number of publications in the occupation periodicals.

L’objectif de ce travail est de faire découvrir l’œuvre d’Igor Efimov, écrivain, philosophe et éditeur russe, et de proposer une analyse de son itinéraire littéraire. Ses débuts littéraires ont été marqués par la période dite du dégel en Russie soviétique. Peu après il commença à publier ses ouvrages littéraires et philosophiques à l’Ouest (sous le pseudonyme de Moscovite). Devant la pression des autorités qui se manifestait sous forme de menaces d’arrestation ou d’interdiction de publication, Efimov choisit l’émigration comme de nombreux écrivains, poètes et artistes qui faisaient partie de la culture non officielle de cette époque. L’émigration aux Etats-Unis constitue une étape importante de son cheminement littéraire, car il y fonde sa propre maison d’édition Hermitage. C’est dans ce contexte que nous examinons les activités éditoriales d’Efimov. Nous portons également notre attention sur Efimov romancier. L’analyse des romans de l’écrivain prend en compte leur aspect littéraire et philosophique
The present thesis focuses on the work of the Russian writer, philosopher and editor Igor Efimov and aims to analyse his literary path. His literary beginnings were influenced by the period of ‘the thaw’ in Soviet Russia. Later he started to publish his books in the West (under the penname of Moscovite). Efimov realised that the growing pressure from the government could end up in his arrest or even prevent him from publishing, so he chose to emigrate as numerous other writers, poets and artists. They together accounted for the non-official culture of this period. The emigration to the USA is considered as an important step in his literary career as it is there that he founded his own publishing house Hermitage. In this context the editorial activities of Igor Efimov are looked into. Moreover Efimov is studied as a writer. The analysis of his novels takes into account their literary and philosophical aspects

Au 18 brumaire, la magistrature est confrontée à un vide judiciaire qui la laisse dans un grand désarroi. Aussi les hommes du palais entendent-ils participer aux grandes réformes napoléonniennes pour réaliser les fameuses "masses de granit", notamment par l'intermédiaire d'une abondante litterature judiciaire. Hantés par le souvenir de la Terreur et de l'esprit de table rase révolutionnaire, les juristes du XIX° siècle s'en remettent à l' "expérience" pour composer leur idéal de justice, c'est-à-dire à une tradition d'Ancien régime. . . Qu'ils ont bien connue. Dans l'ensemble, tous furent avocats-bourgeois au parlement durant le siècle de Louis XV et, à ce titre, ils alimentèrent les Lumières et l'esprit de réforme qui soufflaient sur la monarchie jusqu'à la réunion des Etats généraux. Mais si la suppression des cours souveraines en 1790 fut décidée sans grande opposition, les publicistes napoléoniens, bercés par une incroyable nostalgie, plaident la cause de ceux qu'ils considèrent désormais comme leurs prédécesseurs. Devenus notables-magistrats, ils souhaitent revêtir le manteau de la dignité des hauts juges d'Ancien régime, réaliser en quelque sorte un rêve du XVIII° siècle que l'arrogance des anciens parlements ne leur avait pas autorisé. Ainsi, loin des idées reçues, la littérature judiciaire napoléonnienne n'est pas simplement dévouée à l'Empereur. During the 18th brumaire (2nd month of the french revolutionary calendar) the judicial authorities were confronted with a vacuum in the judicial system which left it a state of confusion. The judicial authorities who participated in the main napoleonic reforms to create the famous "masses de granit" through the creation of an abundant judicial literature were obsessed by the memory of "la Terreur" and a revolutionary spirit. The 19th century jurists relied on past ideas, the tradition of the Ancien régime, with which they were exceptionally familiar, to create their ideal version of "justice". Most of them were bourgeois barristers of the parliament during the reign of Louis XV and in this name they participated in the enlightenment of the 18th century and in the general spirit of reform which infused the monarchy of this period until the convocation of the "Etats généraux". But if the suppression of the parliaments in 1790, which passed with little opposition had an effect, it was to make the napoleonic jurists, who were coloured by a powerful nostalgia, defend those who they considered as their predecessors. Having become town notables, truly prominent judges, they sought the prestige and dignity formerly accorded to their counterparts of the Ancien régime. This was a previously unattainable state because the arrogance of members of the parliaments would not allow it. In this way, removed form former prejudices, the napoleonic judicial literature was not simply devoted to the emperor. The discourse of the Consulate jurists and those of the Empire brought to light the aspirations of a society who wanted to begin the 18th century by airing their catalogue of grievances which were deepened by revolutionary constraints. Behind the manifest problems of judicial reforms hid a political ambition dear to the jurists of remaking the prestigious judicial community with a capacity to judge reinforced by a real judicial power. To present their authority in this way was enough to recall the mythic parliaments of old

La crise des annees 1930 a entraine des bouleversements dans l'ordre des idees comme dans celui des faits. La doctrine publiciste francaise a connu a ce moment-la d'importantes transformations du point de vue sociologique et intellectuel : critiquant la souverainete parlementaire de la iiieme republique, les publicistes se sont engages massivement en faveur d'une reforme de l'etat ; ils ont par la meme developpe de nouvelles conceptions de l'etat et du droit public. Radicalisant certaines tendances a l'oeuvre depuis le debut du siecle, la doctrine des annees 1930 a redefini les fonctions de l'etat au profit de la fonction gouvernementale, renouvele la theorie de la representation par la defense du referendum ou du corporatisme et adopte l'idee de droit social impliquant aussi bien des droits sociaux subjectifs que le pluralisme juridique. Ces conceptions ont eu par la suite des prolongements aux plans theorique et pratique : elles ont domine la doctrine posterieure aux annees 1930 et favorise la preponderance de la science politique dans les facultes de droit jusqu'au debut des annees 1980 ; elles ont aussi inspire la plupart des reformes institutionnelles mises en oeuvre des annees 1930 jusqu'a la veme republique.

This paper analyzes the use of the preposition in that in Ukrainian and Russian can assume the form v or na. In the 20th century the use of both prepositions has assumed political meanings which has diversified the semantics of the expressions na Ukraine and v Ukraine (in Ukraine) and correlates. We aim to show the evolution of meaning of these prepositions, to explain the use of them in Ukrainian and Russian publicist and diplomatic texts, to demonstrate how scholars and publicists motivate the use of v and na and to highlight correlate problems.

The article considers the history, thematic range of expression and a number of authors and publicists of the newspaper «Christian Voice» (with the frequency of a fortnightly). It has been published in Munich by nationally conscious groups of migrants since 1949 as a part of the «Ukrainian Christian Publishing House». The significance of this Ukrainian newspaper in post-Nazi Germany is only partly comprehended in the works of a number of diaspora press’s researchers. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to supplement the scientific information about the «Christian Voice» in the postwar period, in particular, the yearbook for 1957 was chosen as the principal subject of analysis. In the process of writing the article, we used such methods: analysis, synthesis, content analysis, generalization and others. Thus, the results of our study became the socio-political and religious context in which the «Christian Voice» was founded. The article is also a concise overview of the titles of Ukrainian magazines in post-Nazi Germany in the 1940s and 1950s. The thematic analysis of publications of 1957 showed the main trends of journalistic texts in the newspaper and the journalistic skills of it’s iconic authors and publicists (D. Buchynsky, M. Bradovych, S. Shah, etc.). The thematic range of the newspaper after 1959 was somewhat narrowed due to the change in the status of the «Christian Voice» when it became the official newspaper of the UGCC in Germany. It has been distinguished two main thematic blocks of the newspaper ‒ social and religious. Historians will find interesting factual material from the newspaper publications about the life of Ukrainians in the diaspora. Historians of journalism can supplement the bibliographic apparatus in the journalistic and publicistic works of the authors in the postwar period of the newspaper and in subsequent years of publishing. Based upon the publications of the «Christian Voice» in different years, not only since 1957, journalists can study the contents and a form of different genres, linguistic peculiarities in the newspaper articles, and so on.

The article deals with the philosophical understanding of the social phenomenon of the origin of the state, presented in the works of the pre-revolutionary Russian thinker and conservative publicist K Leontiev. Arguments both confirming and refuting the truth of the proposed concept are studied. It is proved that the Leontiev paradigm is an original interpretation of the organic theory of the origin of the state, which is supported by examples from the natural world and world history.

The scientific research considers and analyzes the epistolary heritage of Olena Teliha. Excerpts from her correspondence are presented, which testify to the formation of a brilliant woman, a creative personality who played an extremely important role in the struggle for the formation of Ukrainian statehood. It is from the letters that we learn that for her letters are almost an ideal way of communication. The epistolary heritage of Olena Teliha allows us to reveal the vision of the main processes in her personal life against the background of the general historical discourse. In addition, the main communicative visions that determine her creative personality are highlighted: communicative vision of friendship, love, creation of literary talent, perseverance and strength, resistance to rejection. Attention is focused on the importance of studying and researching the epistolary heritage of creative personalities in the context of social communications. From the quoted letters, which are distinguished by their sincerity and accuracy of expression, it is possible to determine and formulate what positions and ideas the civic activist, poet and publicist adhered to. In addition, we can see the line of consistency in the formation of a creative personality who not only lives and writes, but acts – creates history, its moment, the value of which is felt and understood by future generations. It is found that the life path in its interconnection with historical circumstances and social environment influenced the formation of the creative personality of the genius poet and publicist. The peculiarities of the epistolary of Olena Teliha are determined by the circumstances, people and personalities that she had to face in life. The promising areas of research are the letters of Olena Teliha, which are in the archives of other countries and the allocation of journalistic and documentary aspects of her epistolary heritage. The article examines the publicistic texts of the journal «Suchasnist», which at various times of its existence developed the national idea, united Ukrainians, supported the patriotic spirit, oriented politically, informed about the events of cultural life, published new works of art by domestic writers, revealed to readers the names of those banned during the Soviet era talented representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora. The main problems of the journal in the last years of its operation have been clarified. The issue of the negative impact of the entire Russian and Soviet heritage on the development of Ukraine, the unreliability of many historical facts and their manipulation, the peculiarities of Ukrainian democracy, the strengthening of the influence of the oligarchy, the inertia of civil society, and the decline of national culture is considered. The place of keywords in the context of journal publications, which are characterized by frequency of use and additional associative subtext, is determined. The article analyses the peculiarities of the coverage of the covid pandemic in the Ukrainian media, the emphasis placed by the media in news, and how the online mode of modern life and social distancing affects the growth of media influence. Special attention is paid to the view of the famous publicist Heorhii Pocheptsov, who does not exclude the possibility that the coronavirus was invented intentionally to control millions of people around the world. Permanently, the world faces numerous challenges of different scales: economic, military, socio-political, environmental, epidemiological ones. In 2020, the largest and the most unexpected event, undoubtedly, was the deadly coronavirus pandemic, which spread from the small Chinese province of Wuhan to the whole world and already took more than one million people’s lives in less than a year. Thus, the media, that in the post-information society actually have an unprecedented impact on people, form a person’s perception of such challenges. As a result, our understanding of the pandemic is directly related to the information we consume from the media. In fact, from the very start of quarantine, the media space began to be captured by analytical materials in which experts from various fields tried to predict what the world would be like after the end of coronavirus. These experts were of two types: some claimed that irreversible changes would deepen the permanent economic and socio-political crisis, and by claiming that they intensified panic, while others argued that any crisis is a chance to restart and grow. The experts put different emphases covering the covid pandemic in the media, but it is important to pay attention to the analysis of the famous publicist, propaganda researcher – Heorhii Pocheptsov, who sees the coronavirus as a tool to influence millions of people. The pandemic will end sooner or later, but no matter whether the virus was artificially invented or not, the processes that have already been launched around the world cannot stop as if nothing had happened. But Heorhii Pocheptsov’s opinion about the possible artificial nature of the virus should make us more vigilant while consuming information from TVs or from the online media, as it is possible that this information might be a part of a great game that we were not warned about.

It is common practice among young vehicle owners to modify the exhaust system of their vehicle to reduce exhaust backpressure with the perception that the output power increases. In the process of backpressure reduction, the output noise (Whakapau) of the vehicle also increases correspondingly. The conflict of interest that arises from modified vehicle exhaust systems and the general public is well publicised. This prototype was designed to meet the demands of exhaust back pressure reduction while at the same time mitigate the sound output of the vehicle. The design involves lining a cylindrical pipe with common glass marbles which is normally used for playing. The marbles are made of a sustainable material as it does not erode when exposed to exhaust gases and it is easily recycled. The prototype muffler is much smaller in size when compared to conventional mufflers. All tests were done in a simulated controlled environment and data collated using approved New Zealand Transport Agency testing regime. It has to be noted that the test focus was noise mitigation and not comprehensive engine performance testing. The results of the test prove a reduction of sound levels, however more testing needs to be undertaken with varying annulus depth, marble sizes and arrangements and engine loads.

The article considers relativism as a philosophical principle and the moral standpoint of a journalist. In particular, the main argumentation of Roberto de Mattei’s work «Dictatorship of Relativism» is analyzed. Like Ratzinger, the Italian publicist describes modern life as ruled by a dictatorship of relativism which does not recognize anything as definitive and whose ultimate goal consists solely of satisfying «the desires of one’s own ego». In his view, the boundaries of the main conflict of modernity lie between two visions of the world: one that believes in the existence of immutable, absolute values, and one that argues that there is nothing stable, that everything is conditional, time-dependent and can be discussed in the media. The markers of this conflict are our attitude to the famous statement of Protagoras about «man as a measure of all things: of the things that are, that they are, of the things that are not, that they are not», as well as to the non-debatable values, the status of natural and positive law, the worldview neutrality, the dehierarchization and multiplicity of truths, the equalization of all worldviews and axiological standpoint in foreign and Ukrainian media. A special attention in the article is paid to the ideological program of media-relativism, as well as to the postmodern and post-communist contexts of the issue of the penetration of relativism into the journalistic values.

The article focuses on the «Intellectual Dark Web», an informal group of scholars, publicists, and activists who openly opposed the identity politics, political correctness, and the dominance of leftist ideas in American intellectual life. The author examines the reasons for the emergence of this group, names the main representatives and finds that the existence of «dark intellectuals» is the evidence of important problems in US public discourse. The term «Intellectual Dark Web» was coined by businessman Eric Weinstein to describe those who openly opposed restrictions on freedom of speech by the state or certain groups on the grounds of avoiding discrimination and hate speech. Extensive discussion of the phenomenon of «dark intellectuals» began after the publication of Barry Weiss’s article «Meet the renegades from the «Intellectual Dark Web» in The New York Times in 2018. The author writes of «dark intellectuals» as an informal group of «rebellious thinkers, academic apostates, and media personalities» who felt isolated from traditional channels of communication and therefore built their own alternative platforms to discuss awkward topics that were often taboo in the mainstream media. One of the most prominent members of this group, Canadian clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson, publicly opposed the C-16 Act in September 2016, which the Canadian government aimed to implement initiatives that would prevent discrimination against transgender people. Peterson called it a direct interference with the right to freedom of speech and the introduction of state censorship. Other members of the group had a similar experience that their views were not accepted in the scientific or media sphere. The existence of the «Intellectual Dark Web» indicates the problem of political polarization and the reduction of the ability to find a compromise in the American intellectual sphere and in American society as a whole.

The article examines the problem of the image formation of Ukraine in the international arena in the historical journalism of Timothy Snyder. The subject of the research is the historical context in the journalistic collection «Ukrainian History, Russian Politics, European Future». It identifies the main considerations of the author on the past of Russian-Ukrainian relations and the need to develop historical consciousness in the fight against Russian manipulation. Methodology: the comparative, historical, system analysis and other methods are used in the process of scientific research. The results of the study were obtained by analysing the author’s journalistic works and by considering the main historical themes raised by Timothy Snyder. Main results: The historical context in Timothy Snyder’s journalism is often focused on the Holodomor and the events of World War II. After all, these events are connected with the beginning of the image formation of the Ukrainian people as supporters of Nazism by the Russian authorities and the devaluation of the Ukrainians’ contribution to the establishment of peace during the Second World War. It is determined that the non-reflective attitude to history, the inability to draw parallels between the events of the past and the future leads to an ineffective response to manipulation and propaganda, which can threaten world peace. Conclusions: the realization that Russian aggression against Ukraine has its own history is a necessary aspect in the elucidation of this issue. The Eurasian Union and cooperation with the European far-right are Russian propaganda tools that discredit the Ukrainian state in the world community. Publicist Timothy Snyder points out that Europe’s future interconnects with the past, so he emphasizes the need to study and rethink history, which today has become the object of propaganda and manipulation. Significance: The results of our study will help journalists who study the historical aspect of journalistic materials and research foreign materials on Ukrainian issues. In addition, our research is necessary for Ukraine, because Russia’s aggression continues, as well as the aggressor’s propaganda, which is based on the distortion and falsification of historical events.

The article investigates the immortality of books, collections, including those, translated into foreign languages, composed of the publications of publications of worldview journalism. It deals with top analytics on simulated training of journalists, the study of events and phenomena at the macro level, which enables the qualitative forecast of world development trends in the appropriate contexts for a long time. Key words: top, analytics, book, worldview journalism, culture, arguments, forecast.The article is characterized intellectual-spiritual, moral-aesthetic and information-educational values of of scientific and journalistic works of Professor Mykola Hryhorchuk “Where are you going, Ukraine?” and “Freedom at the Barricades”. Mykola Ivanovych’s creative informational and educational communication are reviews, reviews, reviews and current works of writers, poets, publicists. Such as Maria Matios, Vira Vovk, Roman Ivanychuk, Dmytro Pavlychko, Yuriy Shcherban, Bohdan Korsak, Hryhoriy Huseynov, Vasyl Ruban, Yaroslav Melnyk, Sofia Andrukhovych. His journalistic reflections are about memorable events of the recent past for Ukrainians and historical figures are connected with them. It is emphasized that in his books Mykola Hryhorchuk convincingly illuminates the way to develop a stable Ukrainian immunity, national identity, development and strengthening of the conciliar independent state in the fight against the eternal Moscow enemy. Among the defining ideological and political realization of the National Idea of Ukrainian statehood, which are mentioned in the scientific and journalistic works of M. Hryhorchuk, the fundamental ones – linguistic and religious – are singled out. Israel and Poland are a clear example for Ukrainians. In these states, language and religion were absolutized and it is thanks to this understanding of the essence of state-building and national identity that it is contrary to many difficulties achieve the desired life-affirming goal. The author emphasizes that any information in the broadest and narrow sense can be perceived without testing for compliance with the moral and spiritual mission of man, the fundamental values of the Ukrainian ethnic group, putting moral and spiritual values in the basis of state building. The outstanding Ukrainian philosopher Hryhoriy Skovoroda emphasized: “Faith is the light that sees in the darkness…” Books by physicist Mykola Hryhorchuk “Where are you going, Ukraine?” and “Freedom at the Barricades” are illuminated by faith in the Victory over the bloody centuries-old Moscow darkness.
