Streszczenie:
Vibration analysis of axially moving functionally graded plates with internal line supports and temperature-dependent properties is investigated using harmonic differential quadrature method. The plate is subjected to static in-plane forces while out-of-plane loading is dynamic. Stability of an axially moving plate, traveling at a constant velocity between different supports and experiencing small transverse vibrations are considered. The series of internal rigid line supports parallel to the plate edges are considered together with various arbitrary combinations of boundary conditions. Material properties of the plate are assumed temperature-dependent which is a non-linear function of temperature and differ continuously through thickness according to a power-law distribution of the volume fractions of the plate constituents. Two types of micromechanical models, namely, the Voigt and Mori–Tanaka models are considered. Based on the classical plate theory, the governing equations are obtained for functionally graded plate using the Hamilton’s principle. In the frame of a general dynamic analysis, it is shown that the onset of instability takes place in the form of divergence. The plate may experience divergence or flutter instability at a super critical velocity. Results for dynamic analysis of isotropic and laminated plates are validated with available data in the existing literature, which show excellent agreement. Furthermore, some new results are presented for vibration analysis of functionally graded material plates to study effects of the location of line supports, material properties, volume fraction, temperature, loading, aspect ratio and speed.

Abstract: Generally, video surveillance system is used for security purpose as well as monitoring but recognition of moving object is a difficult part of video surveillance. Now a days, due to decreasing costs of high quality video surveillance systems, detection and tracking has becomeincreasingly in practical with the help of human activities. Nowadays, these kind of systems have been designed for various tasks, but the task of detecting illegally parked vehicles has been left largely to the human operators of these systems. The recognition of Registration platesof Indian vehicles is the most interesting and challenging part from past few years. It is noticedthat the registration plates of vehicles are in different shapes and sizes and colours in various countries. We need to identify the registration plate of moving vehicles using python librariessuch as OpenCV and Pytesseract. This project will enable us to identify the numbers and characters of a registration plate easily. The major technology which we use here is Edge detection technique.

Presented herein is a novel computational approach using the moving element method (MEM) for simulating the dynamic response of Mindlin plate resting on a viscoelastic foundation and subjected to moving loads. The governing equations and the element mass, damping and stiffness matrices are formulated in a convected coordinate system in which the origin is attached to the point of the moving applied load. Thus, the method simply treats moving loads as ‘stationary’ at the nodes of the plate to avoid updating the locations of moving loads due to the change of the contact points on the plate. To verify the accuracy of the proposed computational approach, static and free vibration analyses of plates are investigated first. Next, the dynamic response of plate resting on a viscoelastic foundation subjected to a moving load is examined. A parametric study is performed to determine the effects of the load’s velocity, foundation damping and foundation stiffness on the dynamic response of a plate. Finally, the comparisons of the dynamic response of plates resting on viscoelastic foundation and subjected to moving vehicles with three models of load (single-wheel, single-axle and tandem-axle) are discussed.

This paper presents the moving element method (MEM) for dynamic analyses of functionally graded (FG) plates resting on Pasternak foundation under moving harmonic load. The Mindlin plate theory is used to model the FG plates. Macroscopic material properties of FG plates are assumed to continuously vary across the thickness direction by a simple power-law distribution. The governing equation of the FG plate is formulated in a coordinate system which moves along with the applied load. In addition, the method simply treats the moving load as “stationary” at the discretized node of plate to completely eliminate the update procedure of force vector due to the change of contact point with elements. To verify the accuracy of the computational paradigm, static and free vibration analyses of FG plates are examined first. Dynamic analyses of FG plates subjected to a moving harmonic load are then conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters such as volume fraction exponent, Young’ modulus, load velocity, foundation damping coefficient and load acceleration/deceleration on dynamic responses of the plate.

Transverse vibration of axially moving trapezoidal plates is investigated. The differential equation of transverse vibration for a axially moving trapezoidal plate is established by D'Alembert principle. The original trapezoid region can be replaced by regular square region by the medium parameter method for the convenience of calculation. A generalized complex eigenvalue equation is derived by a discrete method (the differential quadrature method). The complex frequency curve of trapezoidal plate is obtained by calculating the eigenvalue equation. The change of the complex frequencies of the axially moving trapezoidal plates with the dimensionless axially moving speed is analyzed. The effects of the aspect ratio and the trapezoidal angle on instability type of the trapezoidal plate are discussed under different boundary conditions. The results of numerical analysis show that there are two main instability types of axially moving trapezoidal plate: divergence and flutter. The modal orders of the two types of instability are also different, which is related to the trapezoidal angle, aspect ratio and boundary condition of the trapezoidal plate.

The element-free Galerkin method is proposed to solve the stability of the moving rectangular plates. Utilizing the extended Hamilton’s principle for the elastic dynamics system, the variational expression of the moving thin plate are established. The dimensionless equations of motion of the moving thin plate are obtained by the element-free Galerkin method, and the complex eigenvalue equation is presented. Via numerical calculation, the variation relationship between the first three complex frequencies of the system and the moving speed is obtained. The effects of dimensionless moving speed on the stability and critical load of the thin plates are analyzed.

Abstract The dynamic response to moving concentrated masses of elastically supported rectangular plates resting on Winkler elastic foundation is investigated in this work. This problem, involving non-classical boundary conditions, is solved and illustrated with two common examples often encountered in engineering practice. Analysis of the closed form solutions shows that, for the same natural frequency (i) the response amplitude for the moving mass problem is greater than that one of the moving force problem for fixed Rotatory inertia correction factor R0 and foundation modulus F0, (ii) The critical speed for the moving mass problem is smaller than that for the moving force problem and so resonance is reached earlier in the former. The numerical results in plotted curves show that, for the elastically supported plate, as the value of R0 increases, the response amplitudes of the plate decrease and that, for fixed value of R0, the displacements of the plate decrease as F0 increases. The results also show that for fixed R0 and F0, the transverse deflections of the plates under the actions of moving masses are higher than those when only the force effects of the moving load are considered. Hence, the moving force solution is not a save approximation to the moving mass problem. Also, as the mass ratio Γ approaches zero, the response amplitude of the moving mass problem approaches that one of the moving force problem of the elastically supported rectangular plate resting on constant Winkler elastic foundation.

The recognition of the characters in the license plate has been widely studied, but research to recognize the character of the license plate on a moving car is still rarely studied. License plate recognition on a moving car has several difficulties, for example capturing still images on moving images with non-blurred results. In addition, there are also several problems such as environmental disturbances (low lighting levels and heavy rain). In this study, a novel framework for recognizing license plate numbers is proposed that can overcome these problems. The proposed method in this study: detects moving vehicles, judges the existence of moving vehicles, captures moving vehicle images, deblurring images, locates license plates, extracts vertical edges, removes unnecessary edge lines, segments license plate locations, Indonesian license plate cutting character segmenting, character recognition. Experiments were carried out under several conditions: suitable conditions, poor lighting conditions (dawn, evening, and night), and unfavourable weather conditions (heavy rain, moderate rain, and light rain). In the experiment to test the success of the license plate number recognition, it was seen that the proposed method succeeded in recognizing 98.1 % of the total images tested. In unfavorable conditions such as poor lighting or when there are many disturbances such as rain, there is a decrease in the success rate of license plate recognition. Still, the proposed method's experimental results were higher than the method without deblurring by 1.7 %. There is still unsuccessful in recognizing license plates from the whole experiment due to a lot of noise. The noise can occur due to unfavourable environmental conditions such as heavy rain.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyze the thermal and fluid dynamic behaviors of mixed convection in air because of the interaction between a buoyancy flow and a moving plate induced flow in a horizontal no parallel-plates channel to investigate the effects of the minimum channel spacing, wall heat flux, moving plate velocity and converging angle. Design/methodology/approach The horizontal channel is made up of an upper inclined plate heated at uniform wall heat flux and a lower adiabatic moving surface (belt). The belt moves from the minimum channel spacing section to the maximum channel spacing section at a constant velocity so that its effect interferes with the buoyancy effect. The numerical analysis is accomplished by means of the finite volume method, using the commercial code Fluent. Findings Results in terms of heated upper plate and moving lower plate temperatures and stream function fields are presented. The paper underlines the thermal and fluid dynamic differences when natural convection or mixed convection takes place, varying minimum channel spacing, wall heat flux, moving plate velocity and converging angle. Research limitations/implications The hypotheses on which the present analysis is based are two-dimensional, laminar and steady state flow and constant thermo physical properties with the Boussinesq approximation. The minimum distance between the upper heated plate of the channel and its lower adiabatic moving plate is 10 and 20 mm. The moving plate velocity varies in the range 0-1 m/s; the belt moves from the right reservoir to the left one. Three values of the uniform wall heat flux are considered, 30, 60 and 120 W/m2, whereas the inclination angle of the upper plate θ is 2° and 10°. Practical implications Mixed convection because of moving surfaces in channels is present in many industrial applications; examples of processes include continuous casting, extrusion of plastics and other polymeric materials, bonding, annealing and tempering, cooling and/or drying of paper and textiles, chemical catalytic reactors, nuclear waste repositories, petroleum reservoirs, composite materials manufacturing and many others. The investigated configuration is used in applications such as re-heating of billets in furnaces for hot rolling process, continuous extrusion of materials and chemical vapor deposition, and it could also be used in thermal control of electronic systems. Originality/value This paper evaluates the thermal and velocity fields to detect the maximum temperature location and the presence of fluid recirculation. The paper is useful to thermal designers.

License plate recognition systems can be classified into several categories: systems with single camera for motionless vehicle, systems with single camera for moving vehicle, and systems with multiple cameras for moving vehicles on highways (one camera for each lane). In this paper we present an innovative system which can locate multiple moving vehicles and recognize their license plates with only one single camera. Obviously, our system is highly cost effective in comparison with other systems. Our system has license plate localization success rate 94% and license plate recognition success rate 88%. These success rates are pretty satisfiable considering the system is working on fast moving vehicles on highway.

The forced dynamic response of annular plates to circumferentially and radially moving concentrated transverse loads is investigated utilizing classical plate theory, with damping included, and solved in integral form. The boundary conditions are that the inner boundary of the plate is clamped and the outer boundary is free. An analytical expression in Fourier-Bessel series form is obtained for the forced deflection response to an arbitrarily moving concentrated load. This study includes radially moving loads and is a significant extension of the understanding of circular and annular plate dynamics. This understanding of radially moving loads is used to examine the nature of resonance conditions and corresponding critical values of the load parameters. The shapes of deflection modes of plate vibration are also presented. Damping and loading parameter sensitivities are studied in detail.

New exact solutions of the Navier–Stokes equations are obtained for the unbounded and bounded oscillatory and impulsive tangential edgewise motion of touching half-infinite plates in their own plane. In contrast to Stokes classical solutions for the harmonic and impulsive motion of an infinite plane wall, where the solutions are separable or have a simple similarity form, the present solutions have a two-dimensional structure in the near region of the contact between the half-infinite plates. Nevertheless, it is possible to obtain relatively simple closed-form solutions for the flow field in each case by defining new variables which greatly simplify the r- and θ-dependence of the solutions in the vicinity of the contact region. These solutions for flow in a half-infinite space are then extended to bounded flows in a channel using an image superposition technique. The impulsive motion has application to the motion near geophysical faults, whereas the oscillatory motion has arisen in the design of a novel oscillating half-plate flow chamber for examining the effect of fluid shear stress on cultured cell monolayers.

The vibration characteristics of an axially moving vertical plate immersed in fluid and subjected to a pretension are investigated, with a special consideration to natural frequencies, complex mode functions and critical speeds of the system. The classical thin plate theory is adopted for the formulation of the governing equation of motion of the vibrating plates. The effects of free surface waves, compressibility and viscidity of the fluid are neglected in the analysis. The velocity potential and Bernoulli’s equation are used to describe the fluid pressure acting on the moving plate. The effect of fluid on the vibrations of the plate may be regarded as equivalent to an added mass on the plate. The formulation of added mass is obtained from kinematic boundary conditions of the plate–fluid interfaces. The effects of some system parameters such as the moving speed, stiffness ratios, location and aspect ratios of the plate and the fluid-plate density ratios on the above-mentioned vibration characteristics of the plate–fluid system are investigated in detail. Various different boundary conditions are considered in the study.

This paper presents a numerical approach for static bending and free vibration analysis of the functionally graded porous plates (FGPP) resting on the elastic foundation using the refined quasi-3D sinusoidal shear deformation theory (RQSSDT) combined with the Moving Kriging–interpolation meshfree method. The plate theory considers both shear deformation and thickness-stretching effects by the sinusoidal distribution of the in-plane displacements, satisfies the stress-free boundary conditions on the top and bottom surfaces of the plate without shear correction coefficient. The advantage of the plate theory is that the displacement field of plate is approximated by only four variables leading to reduce computational efforts. Comparison studies are performed for the square FGPP with simply supported all edges to verify the accuracy of the present approach. The effect of the aspect ratio, volume fraction exponent, and elastic foundation parameters on the static deflections and natural frequency of FGPP are also investigated and discussed. In the present work, heat transfer characteristics of a turbulent confined slot jet impinging on a heated moving plate are studied by means of time-averaged Navier-Stokes simulations. Three different plate conditions are considered: zero plate velocity (stationary plate); plate moving with a constant velocity; and plate moving with a constant acceleration. The jet nozzle-to-plate ratio and the jet inlet Reynolds number are equal to 4 and 2 ? 104, respectively. The objective of the present research is to investigate the role of the plate velocity condition on the development of the second peak in the Nusselt number profile along the impingement plate. The k-kl-? transition RANS model was validated against DNS and experimental data and was able to correctly predict both the size and location of the Nusselt number secondary peak. A third recirculation zone appears as the plate velocity increases and the Nusselt number secondary peaks location shifts slightly downstream. The development of the third recirculation zone induces an accentuated decrease in the local and average Nusselt numbers. Furthermore, the plate acceleration delays the movement of the transition in the wall jets and the appearance of the third recirculation zone. Consequently, the average Nusselt number increases with time, and the heat transfer from the plate is enhanced up to 8%.

Streszczenie:
Based on Mindlin plate theory and finite element method (FEM), dynamic response analysis of sandwich composite plates with auxetic honeycomb core resting on the elastic foundation (EF) under moving oscillator load is investigated in this work. Moving oscillator load includes spring-elastic k and damper c. The EF with two coefficients was modelled by Winkler and Pasternak. The system of equations of motion of the sandwich composite plate can be solved by Newmark’s direct integration method. The reliability of the present method is verified through comparison with the results other methods available in the literature. In addition, the effects of structural parameters, material properties, and moving oscillator loads to the dynamic response of the auxetic honeycomb plate are studied.

In the present study, a nonlinear finite element formulation is developed for analysis of axially moving two-dimensional materials, based on the classical thin plate theory. Using Green's strain definition, the membrane stresses variation due to transverse displacements is considered. Hamilton's principle is employed to obtain the secant stiffness matrix, the in-plane and out-of-plane gyroscopic matrices and the dynamic stability matrix due to centripetal acceleration for a traveling thin plate. In order to extract the numerical results, a p-version finite element is adopted by selecting only an quadrilateral super element with Lagrangian interpolation functions. With a few test cases, the reliability of the formulation and the solution procedure is shown.

Microfabricated electroacoustic transducers with perforated moving plates used as microphones or acoustic sources have appeared in the literature in recent years. However, optimization of the parameters of such transducers for use in the audio frequency range requires high-precision theoretical modeling. The main objective of the paper is to provide such an analytical model of a miniature transducer with a moving electrode in the form of a perforated plate (rigid elastically supported or elastic clamped at all boundaries) loaded by an air gap surrounded by a small cavity. The formulation for the acoustic pressure field inside the air gap enables expression of the coupling of this field to the displacement field of the moving plate and to the incident acoustic pressure through the holes in the plate. The damping effects of the thermal and viscous boundary layers originating inside the air gap, the cavity, and the holes in the moving plate are also taken into account. The analytical results, namely, the acoustic pressure sensitivity of the transducer used as a microphone, are presented and compared to the numerical (FEM) results.

The dynamic characteristics and stability of the thermoelastic coupling moving rectangular plate are investigated. Based on the heat conduction equation involving the thermoelastic coupling term and the differential equation of motion of the plate subjected to the thermal shock, the thermoelastic coupling differential equation of the moving plate is derived. Dimensionless complex frequencies of the thermoelastic coupling moving rectangular plate with two opposite edges simply supported and other two edges clamped are calculated by the differential quadrature method. The results show that the first mode behaves divergent instability firstly, and the critical divergent moving speed of the first mode increase with the increase of the thermoelastic coupling factor for the two kinds of boundary conditions.

A thin plate resting on a Winkler elastic foundation subject to a moving harmonic load can be used as the model for highway and airport pavement under moving vehicle load and many other applications. The study of dynamic response of the plate thus becomes very important. In this paper we study the dynamic displacement of a plate caused by a moving harmonic line and point load. The solution is represented by the convolution of dynamic Green’s function of plate. An approximate relationship between critical load velocity and critical frequency is established analytically. It is found that the maximum displacement response occurs at the center of the moving load and travels at the same speed with the load.

Streszczenie:
A frequency-domain spectral element method (SEM) is proposed for the vibration analysis of thin plate structures subjected to a moving point force. The thin plate structures may consist of multiple rectangular thin plates with arbitrary boundary conditions that form multispan thin plate structures, such as bridges. The time-domain point force moving on a thin rectangular plate with arbitrary trajectory is transformed into a series of stationary point forces in the frequency domain. The vibration responses induced by the moving point force are then obtained by superposing all vibration responses excited by each stationary point force. For the vibration response of a specific stationary point force, the plate subjected to the specific stationary point force is represented by four spectral finite plate elements, which were developed in the authors’ previous work. The SEM-based vibration analysis technique is first presented for single-span thin plate structures and then extended to the multispan thin plate structures. The high accuracy and computational efficiency of the proposed SEM-based vibration analysis technique are verified by comparison with other well-known solution methods, such as the exact theory, integral transform method, finite element method, and the commercial finite element analysis package ANSYS.

Abstract A foldable and symmetrical lower-mobility parallel mechanism was proposed based on Waterbomb origami of thick panels. It consists of a moving platform, a base plate and three deployable foldable legs between moving platform and base plate. Firstly, constraint wrenches of each leg were formulated based on screw theory and the results illustrated that the moving platform is in possession of two degrees of orientation freedom and one translational degree of freedom. Secondly, it was approved that base and moving platform are always symmetrical about a middle plane and the moving platform can rotate continuously about any axis chosen freely on this plane. Solving models including forward and inverse position problems were established to determine the maximum rotational angle and workspace. Finally, performance indexe of maximum rotational angle of the PM was analyzed, and effects of two structural variables to the performance were summarized. Conclusions obtained can provide a theoretical basis for the structural design and engineering application of this 2T1R parallel mechanism.

The present paper investigates the dynamic characteristics and stability of moving functionally graded material rectangular thin plate. Based on Voigt model, the material properties are assumed to vary continuously through their thickness according to a power-law distribution of the volume fractions of the plate constituents. By the first order shear deformation theory, the differential equations of motion of the moving FGM rectangular plate are derived. The vibration frequencies are obtained from the solution of a generalized eigenvalue problem. Entire computational work is carried out in a normalized square domain obtained through an appropriate domain mapping technique. Results of the reduced problem revealed excellent agreement with other studies. The dimensionless complex frequencies of the moving FGM rectangular plate with four edges simply supported are calculated by the differential quadrature method. The effects of gradient index, aspect ratio, and dimensionless moving speed on the transverse vibration and stability of the moving FGM rectangular plate are analyzed. Results are furnished in dimensionless amplitude–frequency vs. dimensionless moving speed in the form of curves and pictorial representations of some vibration mode shapes are made.

Based on the modal superposition and dynamic programming theory, a method is proposed to identify bidirectional moving forces from orthotropic plate bridge responses in time domain. The bridge deck is modeled as an orthotropic plate and the moving vehicle loads are modeled as two groups of axle loads moving cross the bridge deck in two opposite directions. The equation of motion is formulated in state space and the resulting damped least-square identification problem is solved using the dynamic programming method with regularization on the solution. Some numerical simulations show that the proposed method is effective, accurate and suitable for the bidirectional moving vehicle load identification. Some parameter effects of measurement noise and of eccentricity of moving loads on the identification accuracy are discussed as well.

Unsteady hydromagnetic Couette flow of a viscous, incompressible and electrically conducting fluid between two parallel porous plates taking Hall current into account in a rotating system is studied. Fluid flow within the channel is induced due to impulsive movement of the lower plate of the channel and is permeated by a uniform transverse magnetic field which is fixed relative to the moving plate. Solution of the governing equations is obtained by Laplace transform technique. The expression for the shear stress at the moving plate due to primary and secondary flows is also derived. Asymptotic behavior of the solution valid for small and large values of time t is analyzed to gain some physical insight into the flow pattern. Numerical values of primary and secondary velocities and that of shear stress at the moving plate due to primary and secondary flows are displayed graphically for various values of Hall current parameter m, rotation parameter K2, magnetic parameter M2, suction/injection parameter S and time t.

The paper investigates the dynamic stability of thick functionally graded plates subjected to aero-thermo-mechanical loads, using the moving least squares differential quadrature method. Temperature field is assumed to be a uniform distribution over the plate plane, and varied in the thickness direction only. Material properties are assumed to be temperature dependent and graded in the thickness direction in the simple power law manner. The equilibrium equations governing the dynamic stability of the plate are derived by the Hamilton’s principle, then these equations are discretized by the moving least squares differential quadrature method. The boundaries of the instability region are obtained using the principle of Bolotin’s method and are conveniently represented in the non-dimensional excitation frequency to load amplitude plane. The influence of various factors such as gradient index, temperature, mechanical and aerodynamic loads, thickness and aspect ratios, as well as the boundary conditions on the dynamic instability region are carefully studied.

Streszczenie:
Cantilever plate structures are widely used in civil and aerospace engineering. Here, a semi-analytical method is proposed to calculate the dynamic responses of cantilever plates subjected to moving forces. The Rayleigh–Ritz method is used to obtain the semi-analytical modal frequencies and shapes of a thin, isotropic, and rectangular cantilever plate using the assumed mode shapes that fulfill the boundary conditions of the plate. The modal superposition method is used to decouple the motion equations of the cantilever plate to obtain a series of modal equations. Then, the generalized forces are transformed into a Fourier series in terms of discrete harmonic forces. The dynamic responses of the cantilever plate are obtained by superimposing the analytical responses of a number of single-degree-of-freedom modal systems under discrete harmonic forces. The proposed semi-analytical method is verified through comparison with the numerical method. Then, the vibration of the cantilever plate under the action of moving forces is investigated based on the semi-analytical results. It is found that the contribution of the high-order modes to the dynamic responses of the plate cannot be ignored. In addition, the wavelengths of the mode shapes not only affect the magnitude of the modal forces but also the dominant frequency of the modal forces. Resonant responses of the plate are produced by the moving forces when the load interval equals the wavelength of the mode shape of a high-order mode and the exciting frequency of the moving forces equals the natural frequency of this mode.

The paper proposes a computational approach to simulate the dynamic responses of composite plate resting on a Pasternak foundation subjected a moving load using the moving element method (MEM). The plate element stiffness matrix is formulated in a coordinate system which moves with the load. The main convenience is that the load is static in this coordinate system, which avoids the updating of the load locations due to the change of the contact points with the elements. The effects of the Pasternak foundation, energy dissipation mechanisms, load’s velocity, material properties on the dynamic responses of the composite plates are investigated.

The stability of the moving viscoelastic plate with the piezoelectric layer subjected to uniformly distributed tangential follower force is investigated. The force excited by the piezoelectric layer due to external voltage is modeled as the follower tensile force. The differential equation of the axially moving viscoelastic rectangular plate with piezoelectric layer subjected to uniformly distributed tangential follower force is formulated on the basis of the Kirchhoff thin plate theory and the two-dimensional viscoelastic differential constitutive relation. The complex eigenvalue equations are established by the differential quadrature method. Via numerical calculation, the curves of real parts and imaginary parts of dimensionless complex frequencies versus uniformly distributed tangential follower force and dimensionless moving speed are obtained. A method is presented to identify indirectly loads moving on an orthotropic plate. The loads are in a group of two forces or four forces. The dynamic behavior of the plate under the action of these moving loads is analyzed. A method to identify these moving forces from the dynamic responses of the plate is developed basing on the modal superposition principle, and Tikhonov regularization procedure is applied to provide bounds to the solution in the time domain. Prior knowledge on the modal properties of the plate and the velocity of loads is required. The errors in the identified individual loads are discussed. The effect of different combinations of measuring locations on the identification is studied. Numerical results show that acceleration responses would give better and acceptable results than strain measurements.

This paper presents the problem of modeling poroelastic material on a moving structure. It presents the ambiguity of using estimated or measured surface impedance on a rigid structure as opposed to transfer impedance, which takes into account the movement of the structure to which a porous material is fixed. Biot's model for prediction of surface impedance is presented, and the transfer impedance is defined on the basis of this model. A case where several layers of porous material are fixed to a moving wall is also studied. Finally, it presents the level of agreement with experimental measurements in a coupled fluid–structure problem when an impedance considering a fixed structure and an impedance considering a moving structure are used.

While moving on the tape, the surface temperature of the painted glass plate entering the drying oven reaches a required certain temperature after a certain distance. The drying air as reverse flow through the product is directed transversely across the other end of the drying oven and towards the inlet. The convective mass transfer between the surface and the free flow depends on the conditions within the boundary-layer. The relationship between convection mass transfer and concentration boundary-layer are explained with valid equations for mol flux related to diffusion mass transfer. In the study, drying oven and air conditioning cabin has been used to determine the drying properties of two types of tempered glass paint of 1T1405-IR702 and 1T1430-IR702. In the drying process on conveyor tape, the drying oven length has been determined between 5.30 m and 23.3 m for values of conveyor tape velocity of 0.05 m/s, drying temperatures between 50?C and 70?C and forced air velocity of 2.5 m/s. At the end of the study, the theoretical and experimental results have also been evaluated.
