Pełny tekst źródłaThe purpose with this study was to investigate if there was a relation between charismatic teachers and motivated students. According to our hypothesis, there should be a positive relation between charisma and motivation. We conducted a survey at a university in a medium-sized town in Sweden. The participants consisted of 172 university students. The questionnaire was designed to measure teacher´s charisma and students´ motivation and engagement. The results showed a strong positive relation between charismatic teachers and motivated students. In summary, students who perceive their teachers as charismatic tend to be motivated and engaged. It reflects the theories and research saying that charismatic people have a positive impact on other people.
