As a result of the conducted scientific research the range of executive agencies in the field of scientific, scientific and technical activity in Ukraine has been established. The latter are not individually represented in the mechanism of the state apparatus. Nowadays they include: the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Protecting Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and local state administrations. It has been established that the latter are represented at all levels of executive power: higher, central and local. Some of them are agencies of general competence, while others are sectoral. Most of them are presented in the form of single-governing agencies; some are presented in the form of collegial ones. It has been additionally determined that the executive authorities in the field of scientific, scientific and technical activities in Ukraine are part of the group of governing agencies of social development and culture. The author has offered own classification of executive agencies in the field of scientific, scientific and technical activity in Ukraine depending on whether the function of management of the field of science and technology is basic or optional for them. According to this criterion, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is assigned to the first category, all others – to the second group.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the problems of the educational environment of the higher education system identified as a result of an expert survey (on the example of the educational environment of the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia). The methodology of the work is determined by the need to conduct a sociological analysis of the state of the educational environment of the university (Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia). In the article, based on the results of studying the current state of digitalization of the educational process at the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the humanitarian direction of training, the main problems of interaction between participants in the educational process, typical for universities in organizing and implementing educational activities using modern information technologies, are considered. The empirical basis of the work was the results of expert and questionnaire surveys. The article was prepared as part of the scientific and practical work carried out at the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on the topic “Development of a managerial and pedagogical model for the digitalization of the educational process of a university in the humanitarian areas of training (on the example of the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia)”

An attempt to remove the status of “separated state archives” in the bill on archives 1995 The objective of the article is to present the processing of the Bill on Archives of 1995 by focusing on the removal of the “separated state archive” status (currently “separated archives”), especially in the context of the resistance of the Ministry of the Interior. The conflict was related to an issue that was especially important at the time: the introduction of non-ministry supervision and control over separated archives, especially archives of the department of the interior (including special services), by the General Director for Polish Archives. The study shows the scale and the dynamics of the cross-institutional dispute, which involved the Ministry of Education and the Head Office of State Archives on one side and the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the other. Ultimately, despite attempts at mediation within the Office of the Council of Ministers and the Social and Political Committee of the Council of Ministers, no compromise was reached and the bill was never enacted. The study also identifies the dissents, related in particular to homeland security, between the circles representing national archives and the environment of the separated archives, and presents how they perceived each other.

This study aimed to examine the effect of the Control Environment to reliability of Ministry / Agency financial statements in Indonesia. The elements of Control environment are tested, there are integrity and ethic value, commitment to competence, Supporting leadership, Organizational Structure, Authority and Responsibility, Human Resources Policy, The effectiveness of Government internal Audit, and Relationship with other agency. The population of this study are all the ministry/agency in Indonesia, and each of Ministry/ agency is represented by a person who presenting financial statements as respondents. The data in this study use primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed directly to the respondent. The Data collected are 59 questionnaires, from 86 questionnaires were distributed. The Data was analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0. The result shows that from 8 variables of Control Environment, only 2 that have effect to reliability of financial statements, there are The effectiveness of Government Internal Audit and Relationship with other agency. While others variables such as integrity and ethic value, commitment to competence, Supporting leadership, Organizational Structure, Authority and Responsibility, Human Resources Policy doesn’t have effect to reliability of ministry / agency financial statements.

The impact of new media has continued to transform people. Thus, the impact of mobile phones which are deemed to have a positive effect on education, business, science, health, safety, commununication, entertainment, society, environment, globalization, and people’s lives is reflected in various studies. Though the abovementioned impacts are widely studied, the impact of mobile phones in ministry—in sharing the gospel of God to humankind is hardly discussed. This study employs phenomenological study with ministers of the gospel from West Java Conference of the Seventh-day Adventists situated in Indonesia as its participants. Findings revealed that mobile phones can bring the gospel to both the reached and the unreached through its different features and services. Thus, this study emphasizes understanding of the importance for ministers of the gospel to take the edge of mobile-empowered ministry, a new opportunity, as everyone is upswept by the mobile revolution.

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence that Organizational Culture and Work Environment have on employee performance in the Ministry of Religion of Majalengka Regency, both individually and in combination, and the effect that this has on employee performance in the Ministry of Religion of Majalengka Regency. This study employs both a descriptive verification method as well as a quantitative strategy to verify its findings. It was decided to use the entire workforce of the Majalengka Regional Ministry of Religion, which amounted to 60 individuals. This study used a sample that had been saturated utilizing census methodologies, with the sample consisting of all members of the population as the subject of investigation. Specifically, the results of the study indicate that a significant effect on employee performance at the Ministry of Religion in Majalengka Regency can be found in the partial test of Organizational Culture and that a substantial impact on employee performance at the Ministry of Religion in Majalengka Regency can be found in the partial test of Work Environment. The Ministry of Religion of Majalengka Regency received substantial findings from a series of simultaneous tests, indicating that organizational culture and work environment significantly impacted employee performance.

The article investigates the essence of the “security environment” concept, which has recently been used to define the goals and areas of the security and defence sector of Ukraine, and also identifies its structural elements. The term “security environment” is a combination of two concepts – “security” and “environment”. “Security” means the state of protection of vital interests of an individual, society and the state from external and internal threats, and “environment” means a set of certain conditions in which an individual, society or state exists. The concept of “security environment” in Ukrainian legislation and in the national scientific literature is mainly used in the field of military security and defence review. The concept of “security environment” (in the context of the existence of a state or a set of states) should be applied when referring to the set of conditions and factors of its existence that provide such a state with protection from internal and external threats. Based on the analysis of the Ukrainian researchers’ publications, as well as the works of foreign scholars, the author identifies the main types of security environments depending on the characteristics of threats to such environments: external and internal. The external security environment is associated with the elimination of external threats and mostly concerns the military and foreign policy spheres. The internal security environment is formed by minimising internal threats, some of which fall within the direct responsibility of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The correlation of the term “security environment” with related categories, in particular, “national security”, “state security”, “internal security” has been determined. The concept of “national security” actually describes the desired overall state of the security environment of a particular country, which affects the regional or global security environment. The state of national security is actually a characteristic of the overall security environment of the state. It has been proved that the MIA of Ukraine is a subject of formation and development of the internal security environment of Ukraine. The security environment in the context of the MIA of Ukraine is a set of internal spheres of the country’s socio-political life in which the Ministry of Internal Affairs forms the State policy and exercises its powers as a security and defence sector entity with the aim of ensuring sustainable development of the State and protecting vital interests of a person and society.

From interviews with selected experts and secondary sources, this paper charts the actions that led to Malaysia having its own green building rating tool. It began with the Institution of Architects Malaysia and the Institution of Engineers Malaysia working together in 2008 to come up with the Green Building Index (GBI) specifically suited for the Malaysian condition. The index was launched a year later, the same year that a new prime minister came into office. With greening the economy in mind, he launched a few major initiatives, one of which was the creation of the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water to replace the Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications and another was the launching of the National Technology Policy. In December 2009, he made the commitment on Malaysia's behalf to reduce carbon dioxide emission at the Copenhagen Summit, thereby cementing his commitment to green issues at the international level. Behind-the-scene lobbying by the private sector resulted in the government explicitly endorsing the GBI by tying GBI certification of buildings to financial incentives. This paper makes the case that the strong cooperation between the private sector and the government over the GBI represents a form of public-private partnership on aspects of collaborative spirit, complementarity of resources, private sector leadership, wide-ranging ramifications over other partnerships across time, timing and sustainability. Other countries intending to come up with their own rating tool can take stock of the Malaysian experience.

Forest and land fires cause air polution in the from of smog which can cause losses in the form of environmental damage and disruption of public health and even losses that result in loss of human life. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry has made efforts to enforce the law in the civil sector against company that carry out forest and land fires. Jambi District Court Decision Number 107/PDT. G/LH/2019/PN.JMB gives hope regrarding law enforcement in the environmental field by granting the lawsuit of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry against the company in the case PT. Agro Tumbuh Gemilang Abadi is negligent in maintaining the land in its plantation area, causing land fires. The lawsuit filed by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry has not provided a sense of justice to the community around the plantation of PT. Agro Tumbuh Gemilang Abadi affected by air pollution due to land fires. This is because in the lawsuit the Ministry of Environment and Forestry didn’t sue PT. Agro Tumbuh Gemilang Abadi to pay compensation costs to communities affected by air pollution from fires on their land. The legal consequences of this decision are that the affected community doesn’t receive compensation costs due to land fires and the community cann’t file a lawsuit against PT. Agro Tumbuh Gemilang Abadi because the Ministry of Environment and Forestry has sued PT. Agro Tumbuh Gemilang Abadi to pay for material compensation and environmental restoration costs.

The government through the Ministry of Environment Forestry (KLHK) has created several flagship programs such as “PROPER” and “SPARING” which function as supervision and aim to encourage industry to comply with environmental regulations. In this program, industry players who fall into the predetermined criteria are required to report their industrial waste water online to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Perusahaan Gas Negara through its subsidiary PGN Solution is always obedient to report the remaining industrial waste to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. However, the results of this report cannot be immediately known whether the results are good or not, this is because KLHK will only release and display the results of the analysis and reporting to its online system after some time.In order to immediately know the results of the analysis without having to wait for the results of the release from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, we need a system that can store the data directly on the database server without interrupting the data which is also sent directly to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Making this system using the Waterfall method, C# language, Net Core Framework and PostgreSQL as a database and Reliance SCADA software as a medium for data retrieval. The implementation of this system will facilitate the analysis and decision-making process if residual waste data is found whose results may not be as good according to KLHK standards

Abstract Purpose: This study aimed to explain corporate governance and its application in the Ministry of Environment Forestry, one of a kind which is through Bureaucratic Reforms. Research methodology: This research was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The research subject was the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. The source and type of data used in this study were secondary data, with the data collection technique was done using a literature study. Results: The results show that the Ministry of Environment Forestry as a public servant has implemented the main/basic principles of Good Corporate Governance, namely that Responsibility, Independence, Fairness, Accountability, and Transparency, which was adapted into 8 (eight) aspects of change which became a road map to create added value for stakeholders and ensure that tasks are carried out honestly, transparently and responsibly to create good governance (Good Corporate Governance-GCG). Limitations: The weakness of this research was that most of the data could not be obtained from primary sources but relied on secondary data or other people's information. Contribution: This is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference used in further research and are expected to provide an overview of how the implementation of Good Corporate Governance-GCG at Ministry Environment and Forestry.

Many changes have been made in the healthcare practice environment. Understanding of quality practice environment in hemodialysis units has certain implications for maximizing outcomes for clients, nurses, and systems. Developing quality practice environments takes time and commitment to promote and support patients’ safety. Hence improving safety patient culture is vital in dialysis units because it requires for reducing risks for harm, errors of patients and delivering high quality of patients care. The Study aimed to determine the perception of nursing staff’ toward quality practice environment and patients’ safety at Hemodialysis units. Methodology, data collection was utilized a descriptive correlational design for this study, all nursing staff amounted to (n= 90) They are classified into: all head nurses n = 7,, and all nurses who have either diploma (n = 40) or baccalaureate degree (n = 43) who are affiliated to all hemodialysis units (n =7) at Ministry of Health ,Egypt. A package composed of two instruments was used, namely: Environment Scale-Nursing Work Index (PES-NWI) and Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSPSC). Results, the major findings indicated that there is a positive correlation significant among practice work environment and patient safety culture except for staffing and resource adequacy in all hemodialysis units of Ministry of Health Hospitals. Also, results point out that the organizational structure of the Ministry of Health Hospitals is characterized by unhealthy environment and unsafe climate that force the nursing staff to have low perception toward most of quality practice environment and patient safety culture factors. The study recommended that initiating a blame-free reporting system to prevent re-occurrence of problems and actions to eliminate them from the workplace by detecting, evaluating, preventing and treating safety work environment

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing the effect of compensation and work environment partially and simultaneously on employee performance at BPPSDMP Ministry of Agriculture Jakarta. The data collection method in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 48 respondents, then the sampling technique used in this study used saturated samples. The scale used in this study is the Likert scale. The data source is obtained using primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to BPPSDMP employees of the Ministry of Agriculture Jakarta. While secondary data is obtained through books and journals related to research. This research was assisted by SPSS software for windows. The results of the study partially show that Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance and the Work Environment has a negative and significant influence on Employee Performance at the BPPSDMP of the Ministry of Agriculture Jakarta. And the results of the study simultaneously show that Compensation and Work Environment have a positive and significant effect on performance at the BPPSDMP of the Ministry of Agriculture Jakarta.Keywords : Compensation, Work Environment, Employee Performance

Over the past few years many functions of the Ministry for Greenland have been transferred to the Greenland Home Rule Administration. FolIowing the reorganisation of the government after the general election in September 1987 the Ministry for Greenland was abolished and its remaining functions transferred to other ministries. The Geological Survey of Greenland, together with the Greenland Mineral Resources Administration and the Greenland Environment Research Institute were transferred to the Danish Ministry of Energy. The Minister of Energy, Svend Erik Hovmand, visited GGU in October. The systematic geological investigation of Greenland and its mineral deposits and petroleum potential continl;led throughout 1987 - GGU's work comprised geologicaI mapping and reconnaissance surveys combined with more detailed studies in selected areas with emphasis on economic geology. The scientific and technical staff of 114 continues to be based in Copenhagen. A total of 92 participants were engaged in the field work in Greenland and carried out programmes in both East and West Greenland.

The purpose of the study is to determine the employee performance in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (HAM) in Bengkulu. This research is a qualitative study, the informants used in this study were 5 employees of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (HAM) in Bengkulu, the data collection techniques used were interviews and the analytical method used was descriptive analysis method. The results of this study indicate that leadership factors can improve the employee performance in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (HAM) in Bengkulu, because the leader always maintains good relations with his subordinates and always cooperates, besides that the leader also provides direction and support in working therefore employees can improve their performance. Motivation factor that can be done by the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (HAM) in Bengkulu by providing supervision to its employees and also providing job guarantees by way of promotion. A safe and comfortable work environment will improve employee performance, as well as in the the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (HAM) in Bengkulu. The work environment provided is a physical and non-physical work environment.

In this study using primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to 100 employees at the Ministry of Religion in South Jakarta City. This study uses the method of Multiple Linear Regression, the results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results showed that each variable, namely Work Discipline, Compensation, Career Development and Work Environment had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Ministry of Religion in South Jakarta.

Abstract Natural environment is a quiet but grave victim of every war. The purpose of this article is to present the way selected governmental departments communicate environmental issues to their citizens during the war in Ukraine. For this purpose, qualitative research has been carried out. The analysed material consisted of messages posted on the websites of the ministries in the period from February 24 to April 1, 2022: Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova. The comparative analysis has shown that, while the Ukrainian ministry consistently posted information about the damage suffered by the environment, and not only in Ukraine, but also throughout Europe, the ministries of the countries neighbouring with Ukraine – with the exception of the Slovak ministry – did not provide information about the consequences of war for the environment.

Public relations of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry play a role in disseminating information related to the IFNETS 2030 program. One of the means used by public relations of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry is press releases. The IFNETS 2030 program press release that has been written by public relations will be distributed through the PPID website with a ppid.menlhk.go.id URL and sent to various media that have collaborated with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry to be published in their respective media. This is so that information related to the IFNETS 2030 program can be conveyed widely and quickly. This study aims to explain the process of disseminating information on the IFNETS 2030 program through a press release by the Public Relations of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. The method used is field research which is strengthened by literature studies. Primary data were collected through active participation, direct observation, and in-depth interviews to obtain in-depth information regarding the IFNETS 2030 program information dissemination process through press releases from key informants with a descriptive analysis approach. The process of disseminating IFNETS 2030 program information through press releases consists of three stages, namely pre-production, production, and post-production.

The publication explores a new method of assessing the security environment based on indicators developed and approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. A SWOT analysis of the current state of the MIA system was conducted, on the basis of which its strengths and weaknesses have been identified, as well as possible external opportunities for development and the threats that accompany them. It has been emphasized that the activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the direction of the formation and development of the security environment is limited only to the definition and description of the indicators of this environment. At the same time, it has been concluded that such an assessment should lead to the adoption of appropriate regulatory and organizational measures, which, taking into account the challenges caused by the aggression of the occupying country, should be implemented in all bodies and units of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. It has been noted that in modern conditions it is necessary to pay attention to the strategic directions of the development of the MIA system and the introduction of the best foreign practices of law enforcement into its activities, as well as directions related to military affairs and issues of civil protection of the population. It is also appropriate to work out the issue of defining key criteria and performance indicators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system regarding the formation and development of the internal security environment. On the basis of the conducted scientific analysis of existing security threats, taking into account the latest changes in the current legislation of Ukraine, key directions for improving the conceptual foundations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as a subject of the formation and development of the internal security environment of the state have been developed.

Employee performance affects how much employees contribute to the organization. Performance affects the results or goals of the organization if performance is poor then organizational goals cannot be achieved. Many things that greatly affect an employee's performance include internal and external factors. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of work culture, work environment and performance benefits on job satisfaction and employee performance at the Mojokerto Regency Ministry of Religion Office.This type of research uses quantitative research, which was carried out within the Mojokerto Regency Ministry of Religion Office. Hypothesis testing using t test. The analysis technique used to test and prove hypotheses is structural equation modeling analysis with Smart PLS statistical tools.The results showed that work culture and performance benefits were statistically proven to have an influence on employee satisfaction. While the work environment does not have a significant effect on employee satisfaction at the Mojokerto Regency Ministry of Religion Office. Work culture, work environment and performance benefits are statistically proven to have a significant influence on employee performance. And employee job satisfaction is statistically proven to have a significant effect on employee performance at the Mojokerto Regency Ministry of Religion Office.

This article aims to understand the work of the Holy Spirit in placing church ministers. The Holy Spirit reveals His work in placing church servants to develop ministry. However, based on this research, the author found several things that are of concern to a church minister. In Ex. 18:14-27 Jethro also asked Moses to appoint several people who could help him in leading God's chosen people. Likewise, what was experienced by the apostles in their ministry after they received the power of the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel and convert many souls was recorded in Acts 2:41 as approximately three thousand souls; this figure is not a small number of souls who want to be served the truth. The work of the Holy Spirit enables church ministers to serve the congregation in terms of teaching God's Word. All of this happened inseparable from the work of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit also enabled the apostles to determine according to predetermined criteria; namely, people must be filled with the Holy Spirit, wise, and willing to suffer for the truth. Hopefully, this article can help to understand and understand the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers in carrying out the church's tri-tasks in terms of ministry.

Purpose: This study analyses the institutional management of blue carbon ecosystems in Indonesia. With transparent governance, blue carbon can be an effective tool to accelerate the achievement of NDC targets. Methode: This empirical juridical research applies a participatory approach involving discussions and interviews with several related parties. It also uses statutory and conceptual approaches. This paper presents a new construction of blue carbon ecosystem governance in Indonesia. Result and Conclusion: The overlapping authority between the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries is resolved by applying the legal principles lex specialis derogate legi generali and lex posteriori derogate legi inferiori. To achieve ideal institutional governance of mangrove management, there is a need for a cooperation scheme between sectors of government agencies, namely between the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, and the non-structural institution Peat and Mangrove Restoration Council.

However, terminology has not been collected in any termbase in the past years; it has only been collected in internal databases used as a basis for dictionary production. Having in mind the desire to establish systematic terminology work and subsequently systemize it, the linguists at the ministry have devised a terminology management model. The paper presents the strengths and weaknesses of the model, and the challenges of terminological work. It compares the model to foreign terminology practices within NATO and cites examples of good practices of foreign armed forces, thus proposing improvements to the Slovenian terminology management system and outlines the way ahead. The use of herbicides in forestry in British Columbia is regulated by both federal and provincial governments. The Ministry of Environment, Pesticide Control Branch, through the B.C. Pesticide Control Act, controls the handling, selling and application of pesticides once they have been registered by the federal government. A herbicide treatment must have a Pesticide Application Permit, which anyone may appeal through the BC Environmental Appeal Board. Herbicide use in forestry must be based on sound silvicultural judgment. Potential means by which 2,4-D and Roundup may enter the aquatic environment are reviewed. Methods of avoiding this during a forestry herbicide treatment are discussed.

After the decision of the Constitutional Court Number 35/PUU-X/2012 which stated that customary forests are not part of state forests but private forests provide legal certainty and protection of the rights of indigenous peoples in managing customary forests. As a follow-up to this decision, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry established Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation P.32/Menlhk-Setjen/2015 concerning Private Forests which has been renewed through Minister of Environment and Forestry No.9 of 2021 concerning Management of Social Forestry. Until now, the number of customary forests that have been determined is 107 customary forest units. One of the factors supporting the increase in the number of customary forests is a change in the internal legal culture of the LHK when verifying and validating customary forest applications. Based on the results of the research, facts and problems were found, one of which was related to the requirements for recognition of legal subjects for groups holding rights through regional legal products which could be in the form of Regional Regulations (PERDA). The PERDA contains the Recognition and Protection of Indigenous Peoples and the areas managed by these communities. Some PERDAs are not included with maps of customary territories or there are no other regional legal products that define the boundaries of the community's managed areas. In addition to the problems of legal subjects and areas of management, changes in the legal culture within a government institution also have an influence on the process of recognizing these rights. The study strived to assess the performance of the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change in achieving environmental sustainability in Bangladesh. The overarching pitfalls, shortcomings, and associated challenges were critically examined. The research used both primary and secondary data, which was collected following several research approaches. It was found that the Ministry is actively working to achieve 25 targets of SDGs. Nothing is mentioned about climate change in its mandates though it is nodal Ministry in climate adaptation and mitigation. Due to its ambiguous and viscous mandates, jurisdictional overlapping followed by the conflict of interests has been created in many other ministries and divisions. In SDGs mapping, this Ministry's role in achieving food security and responsible consumption have been downplayed. According to key informants' perception, it could not garner the community’s support in conservation initiatives. On the other hand, due to drawbacks in the legal framework, environmental justice could be ensured on an equal basis. No noticeable activities were observed that can achieve the targets 2020, agreed under the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), as part of the set of Aichi Biodiversity Targets. The Ministry could not establish any reliable database through which ecological, carbon, and green footprints can be measured. Correspondingly, Bangladesh Forest Research Institute cannot carry out need-based and world standard research activities. Institutional and legal reform is advocated to expedite the actions to achieve environmental sustainability. The study recommends enhancing the capacity of the Ministry.

AbstractThis article explores the role and contribution of women in the church with a specific focus on Reverend Boiketlo T. Ngwako of the Revelation Blessed Peace Church in Botswana (RBPC). The paper examines the contribution and experiences of Reverend Ngwako in a male‐dominated church in Botswana. Data was collected through personal observations and by attending church services, listening to the testimonies, preaching, singing, and prayers of members of the RBPC as led by Reverend Ngwako. Reverend Ngwako, the key participant, was interviewed to understand her role and contribution in the life of the church and to collect data on her views on a wide range of issues, such as politics. Content analysis of the data allowed the mapping of different themes of Ngwako's development as a minister of religion in the context of a male‐dominated Christian leadership and cultural environment. The results suggest that the cultural environment and the biblical doctrines of the church have an impact on the development and ministry of a pastor. The study concludes that biblical doctrine is interpreted and understood in the light of Tswana cultural contexts, which continue to have an impact on her ministry, gender relations, and leadership style.

In this study, climate variables and distribution patterns of native organisms were investigated in an enclosed field within the institute of living modified organism (LMO) risk assessment designated by the Ministry of Environment (MOE) of South Korea. The data includes changes in temperature, precipitation, humidity, sunlight, wind direction, and velocity within the LMO confined field from 2019 to 2023 as well as information on plant diversity and soil microbial communities. This data can be used as the basic data when establishing LMO safety management policies by the MOE such as preparing guidelines for systematic LMO risk assessment reflecting domestic environmental characteristics and risk assessment of LMOs for environmental remediation and natural ecosystem. In addition, this data can be usefully used as the comparative data for LMO risk assessment by other ministries such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.

Climate change is considered to be a potential cause of global warming, which leads to a continuous rise in the global atmospheric temperature. This rising temperature also alters precipitation conditions and patterns, thereby causing frequent occurrences of extreme calamity, particularly droughts and floods. Much evidence has been documented by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, illustrating fluctuations in precipitation patterns caused by global climate change. Recent studies have also highlighted the adverse impact of climate change on river flow, groundwater recovery, and flora and fauna. The theoretical political approach and scientific progress have generated ample opportunities to employ previously allusive methods against impacts caused by varying climatic parameters. In this study, the current state of India’s water environment policy is compared with that of South Korea. The “3Is”—ideas, institutions, and interests—which are considered pillars in the international field of political science, are used as variables. The concept of “ideas” highlights the degree of awareness regarding climate change while formulating water environment policy. Here, the awareness of India’s management regarding emerging water issues related to climate change are discussed and compared with that of South Korea. The concept of “institutions” illustrates the key differences in water environment policy under the umbrella of climate change between both countries within the associated national administrations. India’s administrations, such as the Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change; the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation; the Ministry of Rural Development; and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, are used as a case study in this work. Finally, the concept of “interest” elaborates the prioritization of key issues in the respective water environment policies. Common interests and voids in the policies of both countries are also briefly discussed. A comparison of India’s water environment policies with that of South Korea is made to expose the gaps in India’s policies with respect to climate change, thereby seeking to identify a solution and the optimal direction for the future of the water environment policy of India.

Despite restructuring in institutions related to environmental protection, the multi-sectorial decentralized water management system of China continued to be widely criticized. To identify the problems in China’s water management system and the direction of future reform, this article implemented social network analysis. From multiple perspectives (covering efficiency analysis, condensation analysis, and network centrality analysis), we quantitatively analyzed the structural change of the super-ministry reform of water environment management in China. We found that the 2018 super ministry reform of the system made the aggregation and central enhancement of China’s water management network, hence the power of water environmental management is more concentrated in the core department. However, the function overlap still exists after the reform. Some key issues of water resources management are absent from the responsibility of the core management department. Therefore, the cohesion and management effectiveness of the overall management network need to be further improved. Finally, we summarized several practical implications for future water management system reform, and the kernel is to achieve integrated management of water resource and water environment.
