Streszczenie:
This thesis is a re-evaluation of Lin Shu (1852-1924) and his literary translations. Lin Shu is one of China’s most influential translators. He initiated modern literary translation in China, and his translations imported new ideas, literary concepts, styles and techniques from the West. These, in turn, influenced the emergence and development of modern Chinese literature. Nevertheless, Lin Shu and his translations have been belittled and even dismissed for various reasons over the years. The emergence and development of target/culture-oriented translation theories offer the possibility of re-assessing Lin Shu and his translations. The re-assessment of Lin Shu and his translations in this study is based on target/culture-oriented translation theories, which emerged in the 1970s. Target/culture-oriented translation theories focus on the mutual influence between a translation and its target culture, especially on the influence of a translation on the target culture and readers as a criterion for successful translation rather than examining whether the target text is faithful to the source text, as in the traditional linguistic approach. These target/culture-oriented theories can effectively explain the translational phenomenon of Lin Shu, as Lin Shu translated with the needs of the target culture and readers in mind. He attached great importance to the cultural function and influence of his translations during a period of historical transition in China. The criticisms of Lin Shu and his translations in China and elsewhere have largely been negative, often highlighting political issues - his endorsement of the constitutional Qing monarchy and his conservative attitude to the New Culture Movement - as well as his free translation method. Target/culture-oriented translation theories offer a framework for the re-assessment of Lin Shu and his translations that bypasses these narrow approaches. Adopting target/culture-oriented translation theories, this thesis examines Lin Shu’s translations in a trans-cultural context. Lin Shu based his translations on the needs for the Chinese culture and readers of that time, which was clearly embodied in his choice of, and response to, the originals works. The prefaces and postscripts that he wrote for his translations illustrate the new cultural and literary factors that Lin Shu introduced into China. In this respect, Lin Shu’s translation of La Dame aux Camelia is perhaps the most famous case study of his translation method. Through a comparative analysis of the Target Text (TT) and Source Text (ST), the thesis discusses the ‘truthfulness’ of Lin Shu’s translation, and stresses that ‘truthfulness’ lies in seeking poetic equivalence rather than formal equivalence between the target and source texts. We argue that poetic equivalence is similar to Nida’s principle of correspondence, but is beyond his dynamic equivalence. It lays special stress on literary or aesthetic equivalence. Poetic equivalence in Lin Shu’s translations relates to the stylistic expression in China’s literary language and is therefore intrinsic to sinicization. Lin Shu’s skill in classical Chinese is central to our notion of poetic equivalence. However, I argue that Lin Shu’s translation strategy is actually also beyond equivalence. It is primarily embodied in his constant adaptation of the original to the perceived needs of Chinese culture and the acceptability of his translations to Chinese readers. Adaptation includes omission, addition, alteration and abridgment. In terms of target/culture/reader-oriented translation theories, Lin Shu’s adaptations were acceptable in the cultural context of his time. In brief, this study clarifies Lin Shu’s contribution in introducing Western culture and literature into China. The study also stresses the cultural influence of Lin’s translations on modern Chinese culture and on later generation of Chinese writers and translators. This thesis concludes that Lin Shu played a role of utmost importance in the establishment and evolution of early-modern and modern Chinese translation, particularly of modern literary translation in China. Therefore, Lin Shu is the father of modern Chinese literary translation.

This dissertation attempts to emphasise the importance of translation in the history of literature. It focuses on the specific case of the Chinese translator Lin Shu (1852-1924); he is used to illustrate the thesis of this work.
Among translation theories, this dissertation concentrates on those of the Translation Studies, and other related perspectives such as the Polysystems and the Manipulation School, as well as the contributions of the theory of literature and comparative literature. Of equal note is the theory of Reader- response, deconstruction, and Roland Barthes' concept of the Death of the Author.
The thesis is divided into three main independent and, at the same time, interrelated parts. The first part concentrates on the historical context, where we consider the political background, and the use of translation as a way of attaining modernity. More specifically, we analyse the influence of the translation of novels, which were traditionally ignored in Chinese literature. In this context, we stress the success of Lin Shu's translation of La Dame aux Camélias (Alexandre Dumas fils) which opened new horizons for this genre.
The second part of the thesis focuses on the personality of Lin Shu and the characteristics of his translations. Despite his lack of knowledge of foreign languages, Lin Shu produced an important number of works with the help of his narrators. His great literary sensibility earned him critics' praise. Translating forced Lin Shu to break with the traditional language of Chinese literature, wenyan, and to adopt a less rigid style. This fostered the transition from wenyan to baihua, the colloquial language of the people. This language was later to be used by the New Literature, which was very influenced by foreign literature. Lin Shu's translations incorporate foreign literature into Chinese literature, introducing new perspectives in the latter.
The third part leads to the conclusion and raises new considerations. From the three main criteria of this thesis, that is, the personality of Lin Shu, the role of translation in China at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, and the novel as a literary genre, we reach the idea of interrelated systems. The literary system, as many other systems, is placed inside the social system, therefore they both influence each other. Translation is similar to other manipulation processes, since it can be employed to spread specific values.
This thesis has the following objectives: translation can be used to introduce new concepts and strategies to help build national identity, and at the same time play an important role in the socio-political context; translation can stimulate the development of national literatures, and can even change literary trends in the native literature; translation holds an important function in the development and evolution of literature and national languages. Finally, translation can be used as a tool to shape a new literary canon and a new universal literature.

The radio stations don t use efficiently the spaces they possess in the internet. This thesis was built based on this hypothesis. It is a study developed over sites of radio stations located in São Paulo, SP, through which it was possible to observe the way the stations use their spaces on-line to search interactivity with their listeners and also how the advertiser´s publicity material is shown. After the stage of researching sites, specialists divided in university professors, advertisers, professionals from publicity agencies and mass media were invited to verify if they believed in the possibility/capacity of building an interactive relation among radio stations, their sites and their public. Although the questionnaires totality pointed out they belive that it is possible, these professionals didn t indicate other possibilities for the use of this audiovisual media as a complementation of the communication process with the radio. Thus, this thesis presents the possibilities of interaction between the virtual world and the radio.(AU)

Abstract: Aluminum (Al) toxicity is the main factor limiting agricultural production in large areas in Brazil and in the world. It is known that plant defenses against this element are controlled by multiple genes. The characterization of genes whose expression is induced by Al contributes to the understanding of the defenses activated by plants. In this work we identified a cDNA expressed in maize roots using mRNA differential display. This cDNA encodes a sequence that contains two LIM domains separated by a spacer of 40-50 residues, being named Zmlim-1. The purpose of this study was the characterization of this gene and its involvement in Al tolerance in maize. In expression studies it was found that the Zmlim-1 gene was induced by Al and its expression was higher in the tolerant line, Cat100-6 when compared with the sensitive line S1587-17. The subcellular localization of the protein ZMLIM-1 was observed in onion epithelial cells bombarded with a ZMLIM-1::GFP (green fluorescent protein) fusion. The assay of transient expression revealed that this protein is localized in cytoplasm and nucleus. In situ hybridization showed that Zmlim-1 is expressed in most cells of the root apex of maize. The yeast two hybrid system identified three proteins that interact with ZMLIM-1 protein: tworibosomal subunit proteins and a protein from the OMT family involved in lignin biosynthesis. Transgenic plants silenced for this gene have provided evidence that Zmlim-1 gene can influence the anatomy of the root and the amount of lignin in the plants. This is the first report of OMT interaction with LIM domain proteins, suggesting an involvement of this protein with lignin biosynthesis. Transgenic plants subjected to Al3+ stress did not show differences when compared to control, untransformed plants

My creative discourse - “Isolated He” is mainly based on the works created in the Institute during the period from 2011 to 2013, with an attempt to locate the origin of life from the creation. The creative process is to sublimate the inherent pain as a ritual and to eliminate all defilements like a copy of ego monologue, turning the transcendent experience into space exploration and interpretation toward “He” by experimental film works and 3D slices. Exploring the existence after death and the metempsychosis of the soul is a kind of self-reconstruction to present the state of another world and to re-excavate an alter ego. The clear or empty state of “observation” and “perception” generated through the search of the original divinity, religion, ritual and consciousness in the collective consciousness could release the potential ego and let real and imaginary space correspond with each other. During the creation phase in the Institute (from sophomore to junior), my creation core went back to the difference of my life. Refocusing after one or two years of exploration, I could feel and observe another space where there is an ever cyclic state for soul transition without going back to the past or seeking the future, just temporarily being stuck in the bardo state. The occurring fragments are interpreted through the works and the relationship between body and soul is re-examined through my own point of view; “He” symbolizes the existence (two dimensions of holy and spirit) after death. Inspired by religion, I’m able to perceive and constitute the image of “Isolated He” and reinterpret the abstract “He”. Besides, by summarizing in an orderly manner the whole creation context from the inner feelings and cutting all kinds of thinking with various perspectives, I can get close to a glimpse of another truth existing in front of my eyes. The discourse is divided into five chapters. Chapter one is “Introduction” which begins with “Why do I make this exploration?” and summarizes my creation, including the elaboration of purpose, content and methods in each paragraph. Chapter two is “He” which explains the motives and root of creation and its nature by religious perspectives, rendering the beginning of “transition” that is free from the limitations of flesh but extending the soul’s dimension; this paper will elaborate in depth the religious practice and mission for more than ten years, which shows the differences in life and mental depression. Chapter three is “He’s phenomenon” that causes the dialogue between myself and existence, seeks corresponding possibility with Jung Carl Gustav’s collective unconsciousness. This is the beginning of “transformation” and the gradual-deepening of the elements of light, smoke and fog into art corresponding with the mode of saints. This is also the beginning of work involvement in the field. Chapter four is “Isolated He” which analyzes the work context and the employed elements toward the creation forms, explains the ritual used in the work, summarizes the common characteristics of existing space state and then analyzes the meaning of the work. It continues to recall the demonstrating process of works and introduces the creation text in detail, extending from the elevation of saints to work transition. Finally, I wrote the relationship with He’s spirit by my life realization and completed the spiritual relationship between He and me through the work. Chapter five is “Conclusion”, which develops the alter ego by the process of paper writing without deliberate secrecy. Instead of tracing back to my existence, the coexistence between me and He’s spirit is restored. A final comprehensive reflection is made in this chapter.

I used to sit next to an annoying boy when I was still an elementary-school student. I still remember that he drew a line in the middle of the desk and asked me not to cross the line. However, the line he drew on the desk could not influence me at all. There was a line that nobody could cross over in my mind. The issue, compass, has existed in my mind since I was still a little girl. As age increased, I found that the line between people and me was not as clear as before. There seemed to be no specific interpersonal line in our daily life. Things and interpersonal relationships were going on indistinctly. Therefore, I made a conversation between body and space in my work. This work tried to describe the interpersonal space. It could either be sensed immediately or disappeared insensibly. The background of how the painter got involved in art was described in chapter 1. The fundamental theory (connecting creation with conceptual art and ego symbol) was listed in chapter 2. Chapter 3 contained creation ideas (discussion of self and others localization from “compass”),such as what my compass is, where the other’s compass is, what kinds of materials and medias were used, and “love” was prerequisite while setting the compass. Chapter 4 described the working procedure, including 3 main points. First of all, “the symbol of body “described the bus passengers showed their temporary space territory and the self symbols. The next was “the march of umbrella”. Seven umbrella carriers were marching on the main line to reveal individual moving territory. Talking with the whole city by marching presented the moving individual body territory and got a conversation with surroundings. The last was “washing feet” (a ceremony of Christianity). There must be a solution of interpersonal territory problem. As a Christian, I chose “washing feet” to promote myself to resolve the problem of interpersonal territory.

This thesis is focused on a forgotten pioneer of Taiwan literature: Lin Shu-Guang, whose life and works will be elaborated, especially on his function of two-level bridges in the history of Taiwan literature. My discussion will be divided into three parts, according to Lin’s three periods of literary developments. First period is early post-WWII (1945-1949). Lin translated Taiwan writers’ Japanese works into Chinese. That made him is a medium between young school writers and “Bridge” Literary Supplement in mutual exchanges. Second period is 70s. He was a manager both at San-Sin Publisher and at Grand Theater Book Store Publisher. He supported the elder and younger writers and helped them publish works. He made them acquainted with each other. His publishing store became a beginning for the literary circle of southern Taiwan. The third period is 1985-1994. Chen Kun-Lun, a magazine publisher-friend, suggested he wrote memoirs about the early post-WWII period. He also provided many files about those years to the contemporary scholars and researchers. In this period, he finished five books about indigenous studies. He became a pioneer in the study of culture and history of Kaohsiung. Lin’s role then becomes two-level bridges in crossing literature and culture.

My parents grew up in Taiwan during the period of Japanese colonial rule. After the Republic of China relocated its government to Taiwan, their earlier personal stories were all sealed in memories. During the time when Martial Law was enforced, some topics were unspeakable in conversations. Occasionally, while I was playing around my parents, they would talk about the life they used to have; these real-life stories were, to me, as if ancient folklores. Sometimes my parents would take out from a well-kept wooden box silver yuan, the currency used during Japanese occupation. Those neatly folded discolored banknotes emitted an indistinct moldy smell; this is part of my childhood memories – the vanished currency. Along with the turning of the giant wheel of time, came the progress of technology. The development of Internet and Cloud technologies has made mass communication much faster and more common and transcended the boundaries between countries. This is especially the case for China and Taiwan; through the interaction of trade and economy, art and culture, the political relationship between Taiwan and China has gradually interweaved. On top of that, Taiwanese and Chinese people are bound by blood. Consequently, the doctrine of One-China policy has emerged and become a controversial and recurring agenda. Maybe like the Eurozone, eventually the currencies between these two regions will be unified; New Taiwan Dollars and their jingling sounds will become “historical relics”. As a native-born Taiwanese, I love the land of Taiwan. This deep love leads to constant, vague worries about the prospect of Taiwan. I wonder if someday Taiwanese currency will turn into mere memories, same as the “folklores” from Japanese occupation period. The notions of “vanished currency” and “historical relics” have been lingering in my mind. What are my feelings hidden underneath? Anxiety? Fear? Or commiseration? My parents’ experiences were a lesson for me to remember. v By creating artistic motifs, I attempted to convert those currencies and the stories behind them into eternal codes. Hopefully, via my work of art, the genuine care for this land could arise in the Taiwanese society. Moreover, through artistic images, an encouraging, festive energy is conveyed to the public and the promising insight towards our future could spread.

For more than three hundred years, sugar industry in Taiwan is important in its political and economical perspectives. Taiwan Sugar Corporation (TSC) earned much foreign currencies for Taiwan. Because of the low price in international sugar market and worldwide economic recession, TSC loose its competitive power. Moreover, TSC’s profits are diminishing by its high spending on staff salaries. Therefore, it is important for TSC to utilize and develope its land and human resourses to create its maximum benefits. To achieve this goal, the industry tourism is one of an efficient method for the enterprise to become diversify. In the recent year, TSC also places tourism planning as one of their important strategies. Grasping ability to understand tourist behavior is the key element to TSC’s success in tourism business. This research utilizes TSC’s Wu-Shu-Lin Sugar Factory as a case study and 521 respondents were surveyed. This research finds out that respondents of different demographic backgrounds have different travel motivations and constraints to Wu-Shu-Lin Sugar Factory; respondents’ travel motivations are higher than constraints, therefore, they traveled and industry tourism is possible to TSC; respondents travel motivations and constraints can influence their perception on the preference and importance of Wu-Shu-Lin Sugar Factory; there is gap between the importance and performance of respondents’ perception, thus, TSC has to improve its service quality; respondents’ perception on the preference and performance can influence their loyalty to Wu-Shu-Lin Sugar Factory. Streszczenie:
My dissertation is aimed at examining each translation methods and strategies used by Lin Shu, Yan Fu, and Liang Qichao and, more importantly, exploring the contribution of their translations to the formation of a consciousness of Chineseness. I hope to show that rather than serving as a tool to literary history, translation during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century served as one of the most important tools for introducing new ideas and producing cultural changes. In chapter one, I first give an historical account of the formation of Chineseness in the late Qing period and its current problematic status. Then I introduce briefly Chinese translation history, which still remains largely obscure to Western readers. Finally I provide readers with biographical information about the three Chinese translators and with a basic acquaintance of their translations. Chapter two starts with a review of the criticism of Lin Shu’s translations. After a comparison of different translational motives behind Lin’s first two translation projects, I map out a constellation of emotional, cultural, and commercial motives, suggesting that Lin Shu started his translation career in a turbulent era when new cultural paradigms and national consciousness were looming in the distance. Chapter three devotes many pages to Yan Fu’s three translation criteria: xin (accuracy), da (intelligibility), and ya (elegance). I argue that Yan Fu imbues these three ancient concepts with new meanings and tries to establish a new standard genre that is suitable to modern science. Though Yan Fu follows the original closer than does Lin Shu, he intervenes and manipulates the source text to the extent that his translation cannot be called literary translation. A study of Liang Qichao’s theory of fiction constitutes the main part of chapter four. Liang Qichao promotes a completely politically charged literary genre to sharpen Chinese consciousness. I offer a comparison of traditional Chinese ideas of fiction and Liang’s new fiction doctrine. Finally I examine Japanese influence on Liang’s literary and political ideas. In the conclusion chapter, I argue that the three Chinese translators not only tested the plasticity of the Chinese language in accommodating foreign languages, but also destabilized the boundary within the Chinese language. By using an unfamiliar language to translate an unknown language, the three Chinese translators longed for a new Chinese language that would become the mother tongue of the Chinese people as opposed to other races and ethnicities.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of the SH150 and the effect on students’ physical fitness in elementary school. In order to motivate the students’ interests in exercise, lots of homeroom teachers design award system, giving students some special gifts at the end of the month if they do exercise and reach daily goal. However, the researcher found that the daily goal is quite different from one homeroom teacher who graduated from department of physical education to others from different departments. The participants of the study are all the homeroom teachers in fifth grade in Shu Lin elementary school. The data of this study is based on the activity of Roundabout Race in school, through qualitative research method of responsive evaluation from four aspects. There are “appropriateness of program design”, “attitude of program executors”, “achievement of program targets” and “response of study subjects”. Through these four aspects, the aim is to investigate the content, process, and purpose of the program SH150. Moreover, with document analysis and in-depth interview, the feelings of study subjects, from principals, section chief of physical education, homeroom teachers, students, to students’ parents, can be investigated. The collected data of the interview are classified for the researcher to find out program’s positive effects on students. The results can be taken as references for education organizations to implement related programs in the future. According to the analysis of the interviews, the research results are shown as follows. 1. Appropriateness of program design Though the program itself had been properly designed, there are some points should be improved. First, promotion of the program is inadequate. Since there are still many students’ parents who not fully understand the program, the more volunteers involve in the program, the better it will be. Second, students do not have enough time to exercise. There are always too many activities in school for them to do the exercise. Last, the sport area should be well-designed. Students should have more spaces to exercise in school. 2. Attitude of program executors The executors, from principals, administrators, to homeroom teachers, all had highly positive attitude towards the program. From views of administrators, the activities had to be well-designed. Also, award system should be well-prepared so that it can motivate students from time to time. Still, the arrangement of time is the most difficult issue. 3. Achievement of program targets Students’ interests in exercise had been elevated. Also, their confidence and physical fitness had been largely improved. Furthermore, they pay more attention on learning in classroom. 4. Response of study subjects The executors were all satisfied with the program. However, schedule plan should be more well-arranged so that students could have more time to exercise.

The anti-eunuch struggle of the ‘Tung-lin Party’ (東林黨) which was succeeded by continuous partisan disputes in the late Ming Period has long been considered of great significance to understand its contemporary politics and even the collapse of the dynasty. However, the other aspect of this movement, namely the scholarly practice of the Tung-lin academy (東林書院) has not been given equivalent attention. Therefore, the development of the academy after the so-called ‘partisan disaster’ (黨禍) has been, not surprisingly, seldom discussed by existing studies. This thesis aims at providing a historical account of the Tung-lin academy in early Qing period (1644-1722), focusing on four main topics: the organization of public conferences or lectures(講會), the debates over the academy’s pantheon , the discourse on moral integrity(氣節) and the increasing concerns for academic orthodoxy among intellectuals.
Scholars in the academy were by definition involved in the tension between Confucian values(道) and the political authority(勢) since they were supposed to be both academic and political elites. What complicated the issue was the defiant attitude of Ming-loyalists towards the newly established Manchu regime. Although being regarded as shelters for scholars who refused to serve the Qing government, academies could hardly be insulated from those ambitious local officials who were playing the role of patron as well as regulator. By exploring closely the case of Tung-lin academy, this thesis attempts to indicate that, the conflict and compromise between intellectuals and political authorities, alongside with the retrospection upon the cultural crisis of late Ming, had gradually shaped the interest of Qing scholars who inclined to restrain their work purely academic in contrast with their late-Ming predecessors who were enthusiastic about pursuing the political implications of their learning. This very transition could also be reasonably one of the many contributors to the declination of Li-hsüeh(理學,the study of principle).

ABSTRACT The paper takes Daan Garden Tourist Night Market in Shulin, New Taipei City, as an example. From the customers’ points of view, I will discuss the key elements of the service quality and service innovation of the thriving tourist night market to study the customers’ expectation of the present service and the potential service of the night market, which will serve as the reference for the transformation of the future traditional night markets and the plan of the new tourist night markets. I adopt the questionnaire survey in this study and five dimensions of the service quality in the PZB model as the base to design the questionnaire, and I also supplement the potential service items. There are 22 questions in total. There are four types of questions in the questionnaire: “offered,” “not-offered,” “level of importance,” and “level of satisfaction.” The objects are the customers of Daan Garden Night Market in Shulin, New Taipei City, in weekdays and on holidays. There are 415 filled questionnaires, among which 350 are valid. In the analysis of Kano’s two-dimensional quality model, I find that in terms of the first five dimensions, the result shows the one-dimensional quality element (O). In terms of the potential service items, the result shows the indifferent quality element (I). It means that the interviewees do not have any specific need of the potential service, but they still have expectations. In the analysis of improving the satisfaction index, I find that upgrading the potential service items will raise the customers’ satisfaction. In the analysis of removing the discontent, I find that the sanitation of the night market environment and the staff members’ attitude are the customers’ most basic request. The paper concludes that the customers have an overall satisfaction toward Daan Garden Night Market. The location of the night market will influence the property of the customers. But the customers in weekdays and on holidays have different expectations. The potential service items are quite flexible for the market. What the customers emphasize most is the sanitation of the environment kept by the stalls at the night market and the staff members’ service attitude. The result of this study provides the thriving tourist night markets with the reference for future management and proposes the suggestions of the future research. I majored in ceramics in National Taiwan University of Arts and learned art glass from the visiting professor from Japan and the artists in school. Interested in mixed-media creation in opaque ceramics and transparent glass, I aspire to explore further any new creative possibilities in between and search for mutually complementary attributes between various media to develop new applications. Although the trips to Japan, Korea, Australian and Spain in recent years as artist in residence have been pleasant and rewarding. During my days in the graduate school, under the instruction and guidance of many professors, I created systematically under the theme of “Change.Time.Vessel: Artistic Statements” to express my concerns about the society, people and natural environments, exploring the versatility and change of all creatures in the space-time continuum and the cycles of natural phenomena. Through the artistic expression and three dimensional forms of ceramics and glass, based on the three aspects of literature inquiry, experimental production and form creation, along the process of learning and creation, I review the touching moments of my life and form a creative framework of my personal style and vocabulary. Both ceramics and glass are the media to preserve memories; by mixing these media, I attempt to deliver a celebration of the good and beauty of life. "Shi Lin Guang Ji" is the Southern Song Dynasty Yuan-Ching Chen compiled a comprehensive daily encyclopedia. Yuan-Ching is a hidden world of literati, history books are not recorded. "Shi Lin Guang Ji"the purpose of the book is" in the history of the matter, "the book motive and the social and cultural environment in the Southern Song Dynasty has an important relationship. The original book has been lost, in the yuan, Ming period was constantly re-engraved reprint, can be expected at the time of popularity, but also laid the future development of daily encyclopedia. This article to" Shi Lin Guang Ji of Beast Livestock Chapter" selection, classified as the main category, to explore its origins, and from the understanding of" Shi Lin Guang Ji of Beast Livestock Chapter"in the class of meaning, to explore its special value. The second chapter examines the writings of Yuan-Ching Chen and the writings of "Shi Lin Guang Ji". Because Yuan-Ching no history, only from another book "Sui Shih Guang Ji " Liu Chun's preface and Jianyang area of the local literature speculation that their family background. After some sorting, speculation Yuan-Ching Chen for Chen Sheng after. And because of the geography of Fujian Kaoting College, Yuan-Ching and Zhu Xi's grandson Zhu Jian have contacts. And"Shi Lin Guang Ji" editor of the same purpose, Yuan-Ching Chen handed down the book "Bo Wen recorded", " Sui Shih Guang Ji ", "Shangguan Bai Ming Da Quan " have the characteristics of daily use. This achievement is related to the social and cultural background of the Song Dynasty. During the Southern Song Dynasty, the social economy was hot and the demand for popular goods increased. Bookstore for the market demand for the introduction of new works, and strive to novel and popular content. Yuan-Ching Chen class book editor's achievement is that Jianyang area Shangru combination, cultural commercialization show. This article to " Shi Lin Guang Ji of Beast Livestock Chapter" in the selection, classified as the main category, to explore its origins, and from the understanding of " Shi Lin Guang Ji of Beast Livestock Chapter" in the meaning of the book, to explore its special value. The first chapter is the introduction, the second chapter is Yuan-Ching Chen and "Shi Lin Guang Ji" into a book spread, the third chapter is " Shi Lin Guang Ji of Beast Livestock Chapter " of the discussion, the fourth chapter is" Shi Lin Guang Ji of Beast Livestock Chapter r"dry "thinking of the study, the fifth chapter is the conclusion. On the "Shi Lin Guang Ji" version, Mr. Hu Daojing and Sen Tian Xian Si made the basis of finishing, the author of the previous chapter on the argument with their own iv information, statistics, there are 16 versions of the spread. Which to reprint in the yuan two years and the engraved version of the original closest to the original book appearance, so the paper cited and engraved version of the original. After the Yuan Dynasty, Ming dynasty turned the "Shi Lin Guang Ji", the yuan version of the return to the diet and the yuan to the language, Ming version of the instrument and the popular category of a substantial increase. From the category of changes in the trajectory point of view, fully reflect the daily books, when added features. Because the overseas good search is not easy, I can only observe the seven versions of the " Shi Lin Guang Ji of Beast Livestock Chapter", found that beast livestock chapter in the class book is an important category, in addition to a few words to reduce the word and the word is different, 40 kinds of mountain and sea different species and order exactly the same. Selection of content, it is "Shan Hai Jing" since the myth of the system. And engraved with 40 kinds of Shan Haiyun different and 14 exotic people's editors, to some extent reflect the tendency to read at that time. After the book in the 40 kinds of mountain sea clouds strange, combined with practical knowledge of the field of "pastoral", "product name". Seemingly trivial mess of the record, the real show the function of daily books. " Shi Lin Guang Ji of Beast Livestock Chapter"to exaggerated mythology and practical knowledge of the combination of daily knowledge, in addition to inherited the" Shan Hai Jing "," Po Wu Chih "since the strange form of the story and skills, and learn from the previous class book" Heaven "editor concept. Therefore, the order of the animals and animals, although the occasional clutter is not uniform, roughly in accordance with the "god, beast, feathers, scales mediated" arrangements; inherited the traditional mythological animal view, animal worship thinking material selection. 40 kinds of beasts are all structural shape, beast beast show animal strength to strengthen the human and animal fit more humanistic means. To explore its intention, " Shi Lin Guang Ji of Beast Livestock Chapter" to escape the practical knowledge of the category, and ultimately to meet the readers of the daily needs of the adventure. "Shi Lin Guang Ji" after repeated reprint, in an attempt to outline a more complete knowledge system, making the daily use of a wider range of functions, but also echo the social demand for popular goods. On the whole, "Shi Lin Guang Ji" preserved the social and cultural information, research Yuan, Ming social culture, this book has a valuable literature value and research space.

Lin-Shui-Fu-Ren Temple’s primary deity “Lin-Shui-Fu-Ren,” is of regional importance as the powerful god who protects the children and the pregnants. At the beginning, during the Cheng-Lung Emperor, Chin Dynasty, Lin-Shui-Fu-Ren Temple was only a thatched construction. Nowadays, it becomes a gorgeous RC building. We would like to know what the temple looks like in the future. According to the essence of traditional architecture, I tried to analyze and progress this design followed the points of view as below, 1)“Learn from the past”- use the essence that extracts from the traditional buildings as the element to reconstruct the sacred space. 2)“Look for the future”- set a Women and Children’s Center that provide as a shelter where takes care of mothers and kids to fit the physiological needs. Therefore, women will not only get mental comfort from the temple, but also the physiological protection. 3)“Transform the symbol of temples”- use the traditional Chinese methods of making Chinese characters- Liu-shu as a transformation rule to design a new temple. We would love to see a new Lin-Shui-Fu-Ren Temple reconstructed under the obedience of modern materials and construct ways, furthermore, the temple will declare a new spirit of it.
