ABSTRACT Three hundred seventy small-breed dogs (&lt;15 kg) undergoing splenectomy for the presence of nodular splenic lesions were evaluated in a retrospective study to assess associations with breeds, malignancy, hemoperitoneum, and median survival time compared with previous studies. Data analyzed included signalment, histopathologic diagnosis, presence or absence of hemoperitoneum, breed associations, and survival times. In the current study, 44% (163/370) of dogs had nonneoplastic splenic lesions and 56% (207/370) had neoplastic lesions. Hemangiosarcoma was present in 27% (100/370) of splenic lesions. Hemoperitoneum was present in 31% (115/370) of dogs, and of this population, 66% (76/115) had malignant splenic lesions. The most common breeds were miniature schnauzers, dachshunds, and beagles, with beagles exhibiting a positive association with malignancy. The presence of hemoperitoneum was associated with malignancy. Distribution for nodular splenic lesions, correlation of hemoperitoneum to malignancy, and median survival time were similar to previous reports in large-breed dogs. Small-breed dogs who present with hemoperitoneum are 2.6 times more likely to have a diagnosis of a malignant splenic lesion. The most common small-breed dogs with nodular splenic lesions were miniature schnauzers, dachshunds, and beagles. Beagles and small-breed terriers were more likely to have malignant splenic lesions, and small-breed terriers were more likely to present with hemoperitoneum.

Background: Oral isotretinoin (ISO) is the standard of care for severe inflammatory acne and a threshold dose of 120-150 mg/kg is widely regarded as increasing remission potential. Objective: Our objective was to evaluate the evidence underlying ISO dosing of 120-150 mg/kg in acne remission. Methods: A systematic literature search was performed using keywords “acne,” “isotretinoin,” “efficacy,” “dosing,” “relapse,” and “remission.” Results: Definitions for acne clearance, relapse/remission, and treatment endpoint vary widely across studies. Only 2 studies explicitly evaluated the cumulative dose of 120-150 mg/kg for induction of acne remission—both low grade. Conclusion: The threshold dose of 120-150 mg/kg for oral ISO is based on past parameters of treatment duration and prior studies used vague or inconsistent definitions of clearance and remission. Optimal cumulative doses of ISO required to induce remission appears to vary with severity.

The aim of this thesis is to create the design of a robotic workstation (RWS) for storing bags on a pallets with a capacity of 600 bags per hour. As an introduction to the issues of solved task, the introductory part of the thesis deals with a general information about industrial robots, theories ofdesigning RWS and palletization. For the suggested workstation it is given to have one pickup place from the roller conveyor and two unloading places. Within the RWS it is used belt, roller and chain conveyors as a peripheral device for conveying bags and pallets. There are two variants of RWS created for the possibility of technically - economic assessment. Solution for the security and the ergonomy of the workplace are an integral part of the study. Selected components of RWS have their risk analysis carried out. There is also the draft of a robot gripper mentioned, including assembly drawing. In conclussion there is calculation of returning of funds invested in the construction of RWS. Drawings of robotized workplace disposition, schemes of pneumatic and electrical connections and block diagram of the control system of RWS are included as attachments.

This study examined the perception among employees of a German company regarding corporate culture and social competences. The study sought to analyze possible relations between corporate culture and employees’ social competences to determine their significance for the company. For this, a quantitative study based on the application of an on-line survey to employees from the company was conducted. The survey was developed by bundling well-known measures of the variables under investigation. The self-administered survey gathered responses from employees at all company levels on a variety of topics, including their perceptions of corporate culture and social competences of both their selves and colleagues. Participation was voluntary for all employees and confidentiality of responses was ensured. The results revealed that there is a connection between the perceived social competence of colleagues and the corporate culture. It was found that the different ability dimensions of colleagues' social competences have an influence on the respective cultural dimensions. Consequently, the results of the study can be used to identify the social competencies of colleagues needed to help creating the desired culture and to illustrate the importance of social competences within a corporate culture.
Este estudo examinou as perceções dos membros de uma empresa alemã sobre a cultura organizacional e a competências sociais dos seus trabalhadores. O estudo procurou analisar possíveis relações entre cultura organizacional e competências sociais dos trabalhadores para determinar a sua relevância para a empresa. Para tal, foi conduzido um estudo quantitativo baseado na aplicação de um inquérito on-line aos trabalhadores da empresa. O inquérito foi desenvolvido a partir de medidas reconhecidas das variáveis sob investigação e permitiu recolher respostas de trabalhadores em todos os níveis da empresa sobre uma variedade de tópicos, incluindo as suas perceções da cultura organizacional e de competências sociais, tanto do próprio como dos colegas. A participação foi voluntária para todos os trabalhadores e a confidencialidade da resposta foi assegurada. Os resultados revelaram que existe uma relação entre a perceção de competências sociais dos colegas e a cultura organizacional. Verificou-se que as diferentes dimensões das competências sociais dos colegas têm uma influência em diferentes dimensões da cultura. Consequentemente, os resultados do estudo podem ser usados para identificar as competências sociais dos colegas que são necessárias para ajudar a criar a cultura desejada e para ilustrar a importância das competências sociais para a cultura organizacional.

The chronic form of drug-induced tubulointerstitial nephritis (CTIN) is an insidious disease and most probably represents the common final response pattern of the kidney to a variety of agents (including analgesics, lithium, antineoplastic chemotherapeutic agents, like cisplatin and nitrosoureas, and immunosuppressive drugs, such as ciclosporin and tacrolimus). Drug-induced CTIN is usually asymptomatic, presenting with slowly progressive renal impairment. Because of its insidious nature, CTIN is often diagnosed incidentally on routine laboratory screening or evaluation of CKD. The diagnosis of drug-induced CTIN largely depends on the history of exposure to a nephrotoxic drug. Clinical investigations may show modest elevation in serum creatinine, evidence of tubular dysfunction (e.g. renal tubular acidosis), or Fanconi syndrome (i.e. aminoaciduria, glycosuria, hypophosphataemia, and hypouricaemia). Urinalysis may be normal or show low-grade proteinuria (< 1.5 g/day) and/or pyuria. Diagnosis depends on renal biopsy, which reveals variable cellular infiltration of the interstitium, tubular atrophy, and fibrosis. Analgesic nephropathy is possibly still the most common category of CTIN worldwide. The amount of phenacetin-acetaminophen combination required to cause CTIN has been estimated to be at least 2–3 kg over many years. Lithium-induced CTIN occurs in a small subset of patients receiving long-term lithium therapy, who have had repeated episodes of lithium toxicity, with high serum drug levels. CTIN induced by ciclosporin or tacrolimus is common among patients receiving kidney, heart, liver, and pancreas transplants. The mechanism appears to be dependent largely on the potent vasoconstrictive effects of these drugs. The recognition of a potential association between a patient’s renal disease and exposure to a drug is crucial, because, unlike many other forms of renal disease, drug-induced CTIN can be prevented and even reversed, by avoiding additional drug exposure.

Abstract The Icelandic horse is one of the purest horse breeds in the world, reaching an average 140 cm (13.3 hh) height at the withers and weighing 340 kg. The conformation is rectangular and compact, with a sloping croup, and a long, thick mane and tail. The breed is most known and appreciated for the lateral gaits tölt and pace, which it has in addition to the basic gaits (walk, trot and canter/gallop). The breed is found in more than 30 countries, with more Icelandic horses abroad (ca. 175,000) than in Iceland (ca. 65,000). There is one international studbook, WorldFengur, with breeding associations in 21 countries and a common breed evaluation system. Following mechanization in Iceland around 1950, the role of the Icelandic horse changed from being 'the most useful servant' to that of a leisure and sport horse. Also in 1950, Landsmót - the largest outdoor sporting event for the Icelandic horse in Iceland - was held for the first time. It was then repeated every four years until 1998 and biennially after that. Landsmót has been held 23 times in total, at seven different locations in the south and north of Iceland, lasting for 3-8 days in the high summer period. The event has expanded over time with an increasing number of horses, riders and competition disciplines. This chapter introduces the disciplines, qualification of horses and riders and facilities required for Landsmót.

Grasslands in the Ethiopian highlands have been degrading with grazing loads. Fertilizers like nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur improves the soil fertility and species composition of the grazing lands. This study justifies, evaluation of top dressing nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers on biomass yield of grass lands for market-oriented livestock production studied at Chosha kebele, Southern Ethiopia in 2017. Three fertilizer levels ((T1), 150 kg ha−1 urea (T2) and combination of 110 kg ha−1 urea and 100 kg ha−1 NPS (T3)) were laid out in randomized complete block design with 6 replications in summer and winter cropping seasons. Dry matter yield was significantly (P<0.001) different among treatments and higher results were obtained for combination of urea and NPS, followed by urea and the control one. Higher grasses species composition between application of combination of urea and NPS than urea alone. Net revenue is higher in nitrogen alone application than nitrogen and phosphorus. Therefore, better marginal rate of return (MRR=828%) recorded in Urea application for grazing land improvement in Gamo highland areas. It is recommendable to apply 150 kg/ha urea fertilizer to bring optimum yield of grazing land in Southern Ethiopian Highlands.

<i>Abstract</i>.—Regularly administered and appropriately collected anglers´ records not only provide very important information about the particular fishing effort and stocking efficiency (rate of return), but may also be used for understanding fish growth, natural spawning success, and fish assemblage composition and its development. The data from anglers´ records are of particular importance in bigger reservoirs where the evaluation of fish assemblage structure, abundance, and biomass using routine fisheries sampling methods is quite difficult. Using data from the Brno Reservoir, we examined the utility of anglers´ records for the evaluation of fish assemblage composition and development with respect to water quality development. The deterioration of water quality in past decades was presented in considerably increasing ratio between nonpredatory and predatory fishes biomass in anglers´ catches. In 1991–2007, cyprinids prevailed in anglers´ catches. The mean annual angling effort in the Brno Reservoir was 55,063 ± 10,393 angling trips (man-day performance). The mean annual angling yield reported in anglers´ records amounted to 32,613 ± 7,411 kg (26,236 ± 7,428 fish individuals), which corresponds to an individual angling yield of 148 ± 34 kg/ha during the period mentioned above. Thus, the yearly angling yield from the Brno Reservoir de facto exploits the natural productivity of this type of reservoirs (250 m above sea level), which usually corresponds to 150–200 kg/ha.

Owing to an increase in the critical mineral resources exploration and national ecological security construction, an environmental impact assessment was performed to evaluate the thallium contamination and ecological risk of soil in Jiulong alpine mountain area, western Sichuan Province, China. Based on the analysis of thallium content in 1037 soil samples, the pollution level and spatial variation of the thallium in all of the soil samples of the study area were comprehensively evaluated by multiple evaluation methods. The results show that, the thallium content in soil of the study region was 0.30–2.23 mg/kg with the mean of 0.94 mg/kg, which was slightly higher than soil background of “Three Rivers” regions (0.7 mg/kg) of southwest China and soil background value (0.6 mg/kg) of China. The overall trend is gradually decreasing from northwest to southeast. The parameters of geo-accumulation index indicates that the thallium pollution level in Jiulong alpine mountain area was generally low, most of them are less than 0.5, with the max Igeo 0.97. The soil as a whole has no potential ecological risk of thallium, which mainly under the control of natural geological background. Additionally, the investigation of this type of ecological environment survey provides insights for the sustainable development possibilities of critical mineral resources exploration in western Sichuan, China.

This paper presents a decision support system (DSS) for making the waste collection process more sustainable. Currently, waste collection schedules and routes are created manually in most waste management organizations. This is both very time consuming and likely to result in poor solutions, as the task is extremely difficult due to the large number of bins combined with the many parameters to be considered simultaneously. With a sophisticated DSS, it becomes possible to address the complexities of optimal waste collection and improve sustainability—not least from the environmental perspective. The DSS proposed here is designed to be used on the operational level in the waste management organization and supports daily operations and activities. System evaluation indicates that it can reduce truck operating time by approximately 25%, corresponding to a saving of approximately 21,300 kg of carbon dioxide and 187 kg of nitrogen oxides per year and truck.

The analysis of variance (ANOVA) for the grey relational grade (GRG) and order of preference value generated by TOPSIS have been carried out to justify the optimal results. The recommended input factor settings are found to be Ton = 1.1 µs, Toff = 20 µs, Fp = 9 kg/cm2, and Sv = 20 volt from TOPSIS, and from GRA is Ton = 1.1 µs, Toff = 10 µs, Fp = 12 kg/cm2, and Sv = 40 volt. Finally, surface roughness and surface topography evaluation have been carried out in-depth understanding of influencing factors.

The evaluation of the absolute (VO2peak) and relative (VO2peak/kg) values of the peak oxygen consumption is an essen-tial component of exercise testing in athletes. However, according to many researchers, VO2peak/kg values in adolescent athletes do not provide sufficiently reliable information to assess their functional work capacity. The present research aims to investigate the applicability of relative values of oxygen consumption for accurate estimation of functional work capacity in adolescent athletes. The research subjects were twelve basketball players from a junior club team participating in the state championship of Bulgaria. They carried out two maximum bicycle exercise tests with a twelve-month period between the two tests. We analyzed the registered absolute and relative peak power output (Wattpeak, Wattpeak/kg) and peak oxygen consumption. It was established that there was a significant increase in average Wattpeak (8.5%), Wattpeak/kg (6.2%), and VO2peak (3.7%) during the second test as compared to the first one. At the same time, in all subjects, no signif-icant increase in VO2peak/kg (average of 0.9%) was registered. This result is associated with the athletes’ increased body weight (average of 2.7%) during the second test. Based on the lack of VO2peak/kg dynamics compared to the significant increase of Wattpeak, Wattpeak/kg, VO2peak, it can be concluded that the isolated use of VO2peak/kg for functional capacity analysis may result in significant errors in estimating the functional work capacity of adolescent athletes.

Results of a system evaluation and lifecycle cost analysis are presented for a commercial-scale high-temperature electrolysis (HTE) central hydrogen production plant. The plant design relies on grid electricity to power the electrolysis process and system components, and industrial natural gas to provide process heat. The HYSYS process analysis software was used to evaluate the reference central plant design capable of producing 50,000 kg/day of hydrogen. The HYSYS software performs mass and energy balances across all components to allow optimized of the design using a detailed process flow sheet and realistic operating conditions specified the analyst. The lifecycle cost analysis was performed using the H2A analysis methodology developed by the Department of Energy (DOE) Hydrogen Program. This methodology utilizes Microsoft Excel spreadsheet analysis tools that require detailed plant performance information (obtained from HYSYS), along with financial and cost information to calculate lifecycle costs. The results of the lifecycle analyses indicate that for a 10% internal rate of return, a large central commercial-scale hydrogen production plant can produce 50,000 kg/day of hydrogen at an average cost of $2.68/kg. When the cost of carbon sequestration is taken into account, the average cost of hydrogen production increases by $0.40/kg to $3.08/kg.

In this work, the heating process for apple, eggplant, zucchini and potato by means of evaluation of their thermal properties and the Biot number determined in experimental form is presented. The heating process is carried out using a solar cooker box-type as heating device. The thermal experimental properties determined are conductivity (k), density (D), specific heat (C), diffusivity (Dif) and the Biot number (Bi) for each product evaluated. In the experimentation, temperatures for center and surface in each product and water were measured in controlled conditions. For those measures, a device Compact Fieldpoint and thermocouples placed in the points studied were used. By using correlations with temperature as function, k, D and C were calculated, while by using equations in transitory state for the products modeled as sphere and cylinder was possible to estimate the Biot number after calculation of the heat transfer coefficient for each case. Results indicate the higher value for k, C and Dif correspond to zucchini (0.65 W/m °C, 4084.5 J/kg °C, 1.5 × 10−7 m2), while higher value for D correspond to potato (1197.5 kg/m3). The lowest values for k and C were obtained for potato (0.59 W/m °C, 3658.3 J/kg °C) while lowest values for D and Dif, correspond to zucchini (998.2 kg/m3) and potato (1.45 × 10−7 m2/s) respectively. The maximum and minimum values for Bi corresponded to potato (21.4) and zucchini (0.41) in respective way. The results obtained are very useful in applications for solar energy devices, where estimates for properties are very important to generate new results, for example, numerical simulations. Also, results could be used to evaluate the cooking power in solar cookers when the study object is oriented in that direction.

In 2020, WWF launched a consumer guide on plant-based products targeting Swedish consumers. The development of the guide is described in a journal paper (Karlsson Potter & Röös, 2021) and the environmental impact of different plant based foods was published in a report (Karlsson Potter, Lundmark, & Röös, 2020). This report was prepared for WWF Sweden to provide scientific background information for complementing the consumer guide with information on coffee, tea and cocoa. This report includes quantitative estimations for several environmental categories (climate, land use, biodiversity and water use) of coffee (per L), tea (per L) and cocoa powder (per kg), building on the previously established methodology for the consumer guide. In addition, scenarios of consumption of coffee, tea and cocoa drink with milk/plant-based drinks and waste at household level, are presented. Tea, coffee and cacao beans have a lot in common. They are tropical perennial crops traditionally grown in the shade among other species, i.e. in agroforestry systems. Today, the production in intensive monocultures has negative impact on biodiversity. Re-introducing agroforestry practices may be part of the solution to improve biodiversity in these landscapes. Climate change will likely, due to changes in temperature, extreme weather events and increases in pests and disease, alter the areas where these crops can be grown in the future. A relatively high ratio of the global land used for coffee, tea and cocoa is certified according to sustainability standards, compared to other crops. Although research on the implications of voluntary standards on different outcomes is inconclusive, the literature supports that certifications have a role in incentivizing more sustainable farming. Coffee, tea and cocoa all contain caffeine and have a high content of bioactive compounds such as antioxidants, and they have all been associated with positive health outcomes. While there is a strong coffee culture in Sweden and coffee contributes substantially to the environmental impact of our diet, tea is a less consumed beverage. Cocoa powder is consumed as a beverage, but substantial amounts of our cocoa consumption is in the form of chocolate. Roasted ground coffee on the Swedish market had a climate impact of 4.0 kg CO2e per kg powder, while the climate impact of instant coffee powder was 11.5 kg CO2e per kg. Per litre, including the energy use for making the coffee, the total climate impact was estimated to 0.25 kg CO2e per L brewed coffee and 0.16 kg CO2e per L for instant coffee. Less green coffee beans are needed to produce the same amount of ready to drink coffee from instant coffee than from brewed coffee. Tea had a climate impact of approximately 6.3 kg CO2 e per kg dry leaves corresponding to an impact of 0.064 CO2e per L ready to drink tea. In the assessment of climate impact per cup, tea had the lowest impact with 0.013 kg CO2e, followed by black instant coffee (0.024 kg CO2e), black coffee (0.038 kg CO2e), and cocoa drink made with milk (0.33 kg CO2e). The climate impact of 1kg cocoa powder on the Swedish market was estimated to 2.8 kg CO2e. Adding milk to coffee or tea increases the climate impact substantially. The literature describes a high proportion of the total climate impact of coffee from the consumer stage due to the electricity used by the coffee machine. However, with the Nordic low-carbon energy mix, the brewing and heating of water and milk contributes to only a minor part of the climate impact of coffee. As in previous research, coffee also had a higher land use, water use and biodiversity impact than tea per L beverage. Another factor of interest at the consumer stage is the waste of prepared coffee. Waste of prepared coffee contributes to climate impact through the additional production costs and electricity for preparation, even though the latter was small in our calculations. The waste of coffee and tea at Summary household level is extensive and measures to reduce the amount of wasted coffee and tea could reduce the environmental impact of Swedish hot drink consumption. For the final evaluation of coffee and tea for the consumer guide, the boundary for the fruit and vegetable group was used. The functional unit for coffee and tea was 1 L prepared beverage without any added milk or sweetener. In the guide, the final evaluation of conventionally grown coffee is that it is ‘yellow’ (‘Consume sometimes’), and for organic produce, ‘light green’ (‘Please consume). The evaluation of conventionally grown tea is that it is ‘light green’, and for organic produce, ‘dark green’ (‘Preferably consume this’). For cocoa, the functional unit is 1 kg of cocoa powder and the boundary was taken from the protein group. The final evaluation of conventionally grown cocoa is that it is ‘orange’ (‘Be careful’), and for organically produced cocoa, ‘light green’.

Soils containing inorganic compounds are frequently encountered by transportation agencies during construction within the right-of-way, and they pose a threat to human health and the environment. As a result, construction activities may experience project delays and increased costs associated with management of inorganic compounds containing soils required to meet environmental regulations. Recalcitrance of metal-contaminated soils toward conventional treatment technologies is exacerbated in clay or organic content-rich fine-grained soils with low permeability and high sorption capacity because of increased treatment complexity, cost, and duration. The objective of this study was to develop an accelerated in situ electrochemical treatment approach to extract inorganic compounds from fine-grained soils, with the treatment time comparable to excavation and off-site disposal. Three reactor experiments were conducted on samples collected from two borehole locations from a field site in Illinois that contained arsenic (As)(~7.4 mg/kg) and manganese (Mn)(~700 mg/kg). A combination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and/or citrate buffer solution was used to treat the soils. A low-intensity electrical field was applied to soil samples using a bench-scale reactor that resembles field-scale in situ electrochemical systems. For the treatment using 10% H2O2 and citrate buffer solution, average removal of 23% and 8% were achieved for Mn and As, respectively. With 4% H2O2 and citrate buffer, 39% and 24% removal were achieved for Mn and As; while using only citrate buffer as the electrolyte, 49% and 9% removal were achieved for Mn and As, respectively. All chemical regimes adopted in this study reduced the inorganic compound concentrations to below the maximum allowable concentration for Illinois as specified by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. The results from this work indicate that electrochemical systems that leverage low concentrations of hydrogen peroxide and citrate buffer can be effective for remediating soils containing manganese and arsenic.

Introduction: Advancements and increase in access to healthcare have increased the life expectancy in India from 32 years in 1947 to almost 70 years currently. Due to robust vaccination and basic health programs, most of the communicable diseases are kept under control. The disease burden is now skewed towards non-communicable diseases. It is an established fact that body mass index (BMI) is a reliable predictor of cardiovascular disease (CVD) later in life. Early prediction can decrease the disease load and enable early preventative measures. A more novel approach of connecting it with blood groups would yield profound results in predictability and subsequent management. This study was done to see correlation between BMI and known blood groups in order to predict the potential incidence of CVDs in medical students. Material and Method - A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in Bhaskar Medical College from September 2022 - November 2022. The sample population included 150- 1st year medical students chosen by Randomized sampling method. BMI was calculated based as weight in kilograms divided by the square of the height in meters (kg/m2). Discussion - Many studies conducted on the association of Blood groups with BMI yielded mixed and inconclusive results. On analysis of the data obtained from this study, O- positive blood group showed the highest inclination towards obesity i.e. 30 of the total participants. A-positive and B- positive blood groups were shown to have a lesser association with obesity i.e. 11 participants of the 150. These results were in accordance with a study done among female students by Shireen Javad et.al, nding blood group O to be the most prone to obesity.8 Incompatible to our results, a study conducted by Samuel Smith Isaac Okai et.al. found no signicant association between blood groups and BMI.10 Another study conducted by Christina Ravillo et.al. found that blood group O had the highest and blood group AB with lowest prevalence of obesity9. Firefighters routinely conduct live fire training in an effort to prepare themselves for the challenges of the fire ground. While conducting realistic live fire training is important, it also carries inherent risks. This is highlighted by several live fire training incidents in which an inappropriate fuel load contributed to the death of participants. NFPA 1403: Standard on Live Fire Training Evolutions was first established in response to a live fire training incident in which several firefighters died. Among the stipulations in NFPA 1403 is that the fuel load shall be composed of wood-based fuels. The challenge of balancing safety with fidelity has led instructors to explore a variety of different methods to create more realistic training conditions. A series of experiments was conducted in order to characterize common training fuels, compare these training fuels to furnishings, and examine the performance of these training fuels in a metal container prop. Heat release rate (HRR) characterization of training fuels indicated that wood-based training fuels had a constant effective heat of combustion. Depending on the method used, this value was between 13.6 and 13.9 MJ/kg. This indicates that, even in engineered wood products, wood is the primary material responsible for combustion. In order to further explore the conclusions from the HRR testing, additional experiments were conducted in an L-shaped metal training prop. The results of these experiments highlighted a number of considerations for firefighter training. Thermal conditions consistent with “realistic fires” could be produced using NFPA 1403 compliant fuels, and in fact the thermal conditions produced by larger wood-based fuel packages were more severe than those produced by fuel packages with a small amount of synthetic fuel. The fuel package used in training evolutions should reflect the training prop or building being used, the available ventilation, and the intended lesson. Fuel load weight and orientation are both important considerations when designing a fuel package. The training considerations drawn from this report will help to increase firefighters’ understanding of fire dynamics, and help instructors better understand fuel packages and the fire dynamics that they produce.
