Streszczenie:
To improve upon the Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) codes , incorporating compressed sensing (CS) and information redundancy, a new joint decoding algorithm frame is presented. The proposed system exploits the information redundancy by CS reconstruction during the iterative decoding process to correct decoding of LDPC codes. The simulation results show that the algorithm presented can improve system decoding performance and obviously make bit error ratio (BER) lower then traditional LDPC codes. In addition, a relatively short argument is given on different CS reconstructed algorithms in proposed system, the new design is shown to benefit from different CS reconstructed algorithms.

Streszczenie:
In this paper, a critical analysis of the joint source channel coding scheme proposed by Honary et al.1 is given. We show mathematically that although the algorithm leads to a reduction in the overall number of decoding states it increases both the time and space complexity of the decoding process. Moreover, the hardware complexity of the proposed scheme is also analyzed and it is observed that the joint decoding algorithm is in the first place extremely complex to implement and secondly, it significantly increases the number of components required, thereby increasing the power consumption. A mathematical proof that the joint decoding scheme has the same error performance as a separate scheme is also given. Finally, the simulation results show that the joint decoding scheme takes a significantly greater time to decode than a separate scheme, for the same error performance.

Frame synchronization word (FSW) is an important basis in signal synchronization detection. In our work, the joint design of frame synchronization words and error correcting code are proposed which through regularly distributing the frame synchronization words among the information bits to improve the decoding performance of the LDPC. Frame synchronization word should be added to the information sequence corresponding to the position with the check matrix larger column weight which can guarantee that more Frame synchronization words are received by the check node in the decoding iteration. The frame synchronization word is known to the receiver which play an important role in decoding iteration. The results of simulation show that the algorithm makes an obvious improvement in decoding performance when the signal-noise ratio (SNR) is lower than 1 dB.
