A personalidade jurídica configura um ente autônomo, com direitos/obrigações distintas da pessoa de seus constituintes. Contudo, esse instituto pode ser utilizado para fins ilícitos. Assim, existindo abuso da personalidade jurídica, desconsidera-se a autonomia patrimonial no caso em concreto para se estender as obrigações aos integrantes da empresa. Em meio a isto, surge a Medida Provisória nº 881/19, modificando os aspectos da desconsideração da personalidade jurídica presentes no artigo 50 do Código Civil. Devido à urgência dessa medida pelo alto desemprego no Brasil, imperioso a análise jurídica dos seus efeitos. Assim, os estudos focaram nas peculiaridades da desconsideração da personalidade jurídica, passando-se para os efeitos do novo artigo 50 nos diversos campos jurídicos. Com uma análise doutrinária, legal e jurisprudencial, constatou-se que a MP nº 881/19 modificou a teoria maior da desconsideração, aplicando-se diretamente nas relações comerciais e tributárias. Todavia, devido à hipossuficiência presente nas legislações trabalhista e consumerista, concluiu-se que a desconsideração nesses campos permanece conforme a teoria menor. Ademais, mesmo em se aplicando as modificações, aconselha-se que a jurisprudência apresente situações excepcionais de condutas que presumam o dolo, bem como se inverta o ônus probatório para o empresário em se preenchendo os requisitos do art. 373 do CPC.

Abstract Photo-voltaic inverts usually use LCL filter for filtering, and LCL filter will bring resonance problems to the system. This paper focuses on invert-er side current feedback control (invert-er side current feedback, ICF). This paper proposes a method for suppressing resonance of photo-voltaic invert-er clusters based on capacitor voltage feed-forward. First, establish the ICF mathematical model based on HPF and CVF under the weak grid, qualitatively analyze the resonance mechanism of the cluster invert-er, then analyze the system control structure and stability according to the proposed method, and finally verify the effectiveness of the proposed method through simulation and experiment sexuality and correctness.

The average cyclic load of heavy-haul railway trains is generally larger than that of a conventional mixed passenger and freight railway. This load leads to more severe fatigue damage to structures, including the concrete in a tunnel invert. This study focuses on the fatigue damage of a tunnel invert under a cyclic load of 33 tonnes. The damage classifications for the tunnel inverts are given based on field investigations. With large-scale in-situ tests on the Zhang-Tang Heavy-Haul Railway Tunnel, the pressure–time distributions for the additional dynamic stresses on the surface of the track-bed for various classes of the surrounding rock are proposed. They were subsequently validated against numerical simulation using the ANSYS Workbench module. Fatigue damage of the tunnel invert is demonstrated using both numerical and monitoring methods. It has been observed that the damage to the tunnel invert becomes severe and extensive if the quality of the surrounding rock degrades. Damage zones develop first at the top of the invert and then expand to a deeper position, depending on the rock grade.

Corrugated metal culverts have been used to convey surface drainage under local streets and major highways all over North America. Inverts of these culverts often deteriorate over time as they are constantly exposed to potentially harsh flow conditions. Invert concrete paving has been a traditional treatment used by roadway departments to rehabilitate metal culverts of which the bottoms are heavily rusted and beginning to perforate. The benefit of this rehabilitation method is clear from the hydraulic aspect but not from the structural aspect. A study was carried out recently for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) by the authors to examine how much the invert paving helps the deteriorated metal culverts structurally. To make the study comprehensive, the authors conducted a literature review, gathered the state-of-the-practice information from many state departments of transport (DOTs), performed computer simulations, and carried out full-scale field load tests. The data gathered in the study repeatedly demonstrated that invert paving can restore the deteriorated metal culverts structurally, especially if the amount of metal lost through deteriorations is regained by welding reinforcement bars to the invert plates before concrete paving. Armed with this positive outcome, an engineering procedure was proposed.

The 3D finite element simulation was adopted to study the globality stability of tunnel caused by the different excavation length of invert. Kelan-Linxian highway loess tunnels were taken as an example. The research results are shown as follows: The vertical displacement and horizontal convergence increased by the increasing of the excavation length of the invert. But the latter increase range is larger than the former. The horizontal convergence in sidewall is convergence value is greater than the level of the arch and the corner, the horizontal displacement primarily occurred in the side wall position. The surrounding rocks maximum plastic strain occurred in side wall and corner wall in 4 working conditions. The plastic zone occurred around from arch corner to wall side. In Tab. 4, the maximum plastic strain is increased by the excavation length of inverts increasing.

Abstract One of the typical countermeasures against ground heaving in mountain tunnels in service is reinforcement by installing or refurbishing new invert, but there are many problems in terms of workability and economy. The purpose of this study is to propose a concept and load-bearing capacity that will contribute to the selection of rational reinforcement measures. As one of the methods, inverts with new shapes were assumed as reasonable structures, and their load-bearing capacity and structural feasibility were examined by model experiment and numerical analysis. As a result, it was confirmed that the behavior during deformation and the tendency of the stresses generated differed depending on the shape of the invert. In addition, there are some cases where it is possible to have a certain load-bearing capacity and expect reinforcement effects in rational construction.

In order to improve the monitoring effect of financial security risk in colleges and universities, this paper studies the financial security risk control of colleges and universities combined with the big data clustering center scheduling algorithm and inverts the multilevel sampling algorithm of quantum potential support. Moreover, this paper considers that the multilevel sampling algorithm is applied to the potential backscattering problem of the stationary Schrödinger equation to invert the support of the potential in the equation. In addition, this paper uses far-field data to invert the generalized linear sampling method of potential support and builds a college financial security risk monitoring model that relies on the big data clustering center scheduling algorithm. The experimental study shows that the financial security risk monitoring system for colleges and universities based on the big data clustering center scheduling algorithm proposed in this paper has good risk clustering and risk identification effects.

Monocular depth cues can lead not only to illusory depth in two-dimensional patterns but also to perspective reversals in three-dimensional objects. When a viewer perceptually inverts (reverses) a three-dimensional object, stimuli on the inner surfaces of that object also invert. However, the perceptual fate of anything occurring within the space that is enclosed by the walls of a perceptually reversible object is unknown. In the present study, perceptions of the relative vertical heights of stimuli within a truncated pyramidal chute were compared for stimuli placed laterally, on the inner surface of the chute, or centrally, suspended within the volume enclosed by the chute. The typical inversion was obtained for lateral stimuli, but central stimuli did not invert. While central stimuli maintained their veridical vertical order, participants experienced a considerable compression of perceptual depth. These results imply a dilution of the illusion within the centre of the volume of space that it encloses.

We present a wave-equation inversion method that inverts skeletonized seismic data for the subsurface velocity model. The skeletonized representation of the seismic traces consists of the low-rank latent-space variables predicted by a well-trained autoencoder neural network. The input to the autoencoder consists of seismic traces, and the implicit function theorem is used to determine the Fréchet derivative, i.e., the perturbation of the skeletonized data with respect to the velocity perturbation. The gradient is computed by migrating the shifted observed traces weighted by the skeletonized data residual, and the final velocity model is the one that best predicts the observed latent-space parameters. We denote this as inversion by Newtonian machine learning (NML) because it inverts for the model parameters by combining the forward and backward modeling of Newtonian wave propagation with the dimensional reduction capability of machine learning. Empirical results suggest that inversion by NML can sometimes mitigate the cycle-skipping problem of conventional full-waveform inversion (FWI). Numerical tests with synthetic and field data demonstrate the success of NML inversion in recovering a low-wavenumber approximation to the subsurface velocity model. The advantage of this method over other skeletonized data methods is that no manual picking of important features is required because the skeletal data are automatically selected by the autoencoder. The disadvantage is that the inverted velocity model has less resolution compared with the FWI result, but it can serve as a good initial model for FWI. Our most significant contribution is that we provide a general framework for using wave-equation inversion to invert skeletal data generated by any type of neural network. In other words, we have combined the deterministic modeling of Newtonian physics and the pattern matching capabilities of machine learning to invert seismic data by NML.

In response to recent and ongoing adaptation of culvert designs to environmentally sensitive installations, inlet loss coefficients and inlet control flow performance data are presented that are specific to environmentally sensitive culvert geometries. A common practice for such culvert designs is to bury the culvert inverts and create a simulated streambed through the culvert. Common cross-sectional geometries of such culverts typically include circular, elliptical, or pipe arch. These buried- or depressed-invert culverts create inlet geometries for which inlet loss information and inlet control flow performance curves have not been developed. Regardless of the method used to design environmentally sensitive culverts, the ability of the culvert to pass the design flood must be determined. In an effort to provide such information, an elliptical smooth-wall culvert with an invert burial depth of 50% was tested under various conditions (e.g., various end treatments, inlet and outlet control, submerged and unsubmerged inlet conditions, and ponded and channelized approach flow conditions) to determine the inlet loss coefficient and flow performance curve characteristics. The test results show that the inlet loss coefficient is relatively independent of both Reynolds number and the ratio of the distance from the inlet invert to the upstream total energy grade line to the culvert diameter ( HW/ D) and that the inlet loss coefficients for the elliptical culvert with 50% burial depth are approximately equal to the published coefficients for traditional culvert inlets. The inlet control data adapt well to the Form 1 and Form 2 unsubmerged and the submerged equations recommended by FHWA.

The soft surrounding rock in tunnels has the characteristics of low strength, easy softening after soaking, and poor self-stability, which makes the inverted arch structure in soft rock tunnels prone to uplift deformations. Therefore, a deformation monitoring method for inverted arch uplifts of soft rock tunnels based on 3D laser scanning technology is studied to improve deformation monitoring. A Leica Scan Station2 3D laser scanner is used to collect 3D point cloud data of soft rock tunnel inverts. Using the automatic matching method of public landmarks and the improved Rodrigues parameter method, the collected 3D point cloud data are spliced and through the Mallat algorithm, the 3D point cloud data are reconstructed and processed after splicing. The whole least square method is used to fit the reconstructed 3D point cloud data. Through the principal component analysis method, the normal vector of the fitting plane is estimated and the best datum plane of the soft rock tunnel invert is found. By calculating and extracting the geometric parameters of the slice point cloud, the monitoring of inverted arch uplift deformations in soft rock tunnels is completed. The experiment shows that this method can effectively collect 3D point cloud data of soft rock tunnel inverts, and complete point cloud stitching and reconstruction. This method can effectively monitor the uplift deformation of inverted arches at different grouting depths.

Traveltime tomography relies on broad ray-angle coverage to constrain the spatial location of velocity anomalies. When ray-angle coverage is narrow, cell or grid tomography can be plagued by smearing artifacts bearing imprints of the raypaths. Multiscale deformable-layer tomography (DLT), which inverts for the geometry of velocity interfaces instead of velocity, can be more effective than grid-based tomography in mitigating such artifacts, especially when velocity values are known for parts of the model. The DLT model consists of geologically sensible layers represented by triangular prisms. In areas of good ray coverage, DLT can be used to invert simultaneously for layer velocities as well as interface geometry. Tests of synthetic models of crosswell refraction, 2D tomostatics, and 3D vertical seismic profiling (VSP) first-arrival data sets show that DLT can produce solutions superior to those produced by cell- or grid-based tomography.

We develop a concept of localized seismic grid tomography constrained by well information and apply it to building vertically transversely isotropic (VTI) velocity models in depth. The goal is to use a highly automated migration velocity analysis to build anisotropic models that combine optimal image focusing with accurate depth positioning in one step. We localize tomography to a limited volume around the well and jointly invert the surface seismic and well data. Well information is propagated into the local volume by using the method of preconditioning, whereby model updates are shaped to follow geologic layers with spatial smoothing constraints. We analyze our concept with a synthetic data example of anisotropic tomography applied to a 1D VTI model. We demonstrate four cases of introducing additionalinformation. In the first case, vertical velocity is assumed to be known, and the tomography inverts only for Thomsen’s [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] profiles using surface seismic data alone. In the second case, tomography simultaneously inverts for all three VTI parameters, including vertical velocity, using a joint data set that consists of surface seismic data and vertical check-shot traveltimes. In the third and fourth cases, sparse depth markers and walkaway vertical seismic profiling (VSP) are used, respectively, to supplement the seismic data. For all four examples, tomography reliably recovers the anisotropic velocity field up to a vertical resolution comparable to that of the well data. Even though walkaway VSP has the additional dimension of angle or offset, it offers no further increase in this resolution limit. Anisotropic tomography with well constraints has multiple advantages over other approaches and deserves a place in the portfolio of model-building tools.

O ensaio, desde o ponto de vista da Filosofia da Diferença e de teóricos da educação e do currículo, problematiza a prática de uma docência-epidérmica de uma professora-artista num Centro de Artes de uma universidade pública. Desenvolvendo o pensamento acerca de um currículo-epidérmico enquanto território nômade e superfície de atravessamento, defende a possibilidade de a docência-epidérmica fazer rasgos nas grades curriculares e inventar traçados inesperados e singulares. Tematiza o currículo enquanto território que articula camadas estriadas e lisas e convida a uma travessia-epidérmica cujo movimento acontece num espaço intermezzo. Uma travessia que pedagogicamente privilegia os acontecimentos e a criação de conceitos, que se faz pela desterritorialização e a reterritorialização, pondo o conhecimento em movimento, interpelando estados e tocando os corpos. Nessa travessia importam os atravessamentos, a experiência que inventa outros modos de existência.

We present a data‐driven method of joint inversion of well‐log and seismic data, based on the power of adaptive mapping of artificial neural networks (ANNs). We use the ANN technique to find and approximate the inversion operator guided by the data set consisting of well data and seismic recordings near the wells. Then we directly map seismic recordings to well parameters, trace by trace, to extrapolate the wide‐band profiles of these parameters using the approximation operator. Compared to traditional inversions, which are based on a few prior theoretical operators, our inversion is novel because (1) it inverts for multiple parameters and (2) it is nonlinear with a high degree of complexity. We first test our algorithm with synthetic data and analyze its sensitivity and robustness. We then invert real data to obtain two extrapolation profiles of sonic log (DT) and shale content (SH), the latter a unique parameter of the inversion and significant for the detailed evaluation of stratigraphic traps. The high‐frequency components of the two profiles are significantly richer than those of the original seismic section.

This is a report from the real world. It informs about the outcome of a project, which the author conducted during a months-long research stay at the Danish company Ordbogen where he integrated its research and development (R&D) team. The first part of the project was to test machine translation and find out to what extent it is usable in the compilation of bilingual lexico­graphical databases. The hypothesis was that the technology was not yet mature. But surprisingly, it turned out that the accuracy rate is already so high that it is worth considering how to implement it. The second part of the project aimed at further developing an idea formulated by Fuertes-Olivera et al. (2018) on how to invert a dictionary without losing semantic content. The new vision is to compile a mono­lingual L2 database, bilingualize it to an L2–L1 database using machine trans­lation, and then invert the relationship between L2 lemmata and L1 equivalents using the L1 defi­ni­tions of the L2 lemmata as the axis. The third part of the project was to test this idea using a specially designed ad hoc pro­gram. The program automatically uploads relevant data from existing lexico­graphical databases, translates L2 definitions and example sentences into L1, suggests adequate L1 equivalents, and eventually inverts the relationship between the two languages. It worked, but the methodology still needs further refinement to be implementable on a large scale. The report con­cludes by listing some of the remaining challenges and defining the new role of the lexicog­rapher in this type of project. Although several induced trench field instrumentations have been reported in the literature, none have been for twin culverts. This paper describes a field instrumentation of twin 3660 mm inside diameter concrete culverts installed in an induced trench under 21.7 m of fill. Earth pressures were measured at the crown, shoulder, springline, haunch, and invert locations. Average earth pressures measured at the crown and springline were 0.67 and 0.32 times the overburden, respectively. Due to the large culvert size, proper compaction in the haunch regions was not achieved and the bedding was lightly compacted for constructability reasons. These factors resulted in high earth pressures at the inverts (greater than approximately 1400 kPa) and low pressures at the haunches (32–165 kPa). Numerical modelling was used to determine a vertical earth load of 0.87 times the soil prism load. The twin induced trench condition resulted in vertical earth loads 6% higher and 30% lower than the single induced trench and twin positive projecting conditions, respectively. The induced trench method therefore appears to be a viable installation option for large-diameter twin culverts, provided that issues related to bedding and constructability are addressed.

Steganography is a data-hiding scientific branch that aims to hide secret data in an image, video, or audio. Image steganography methods try to embed a large amount of data into images with high imperceptibility. However, increasing the number of embedded data in the image decreases its quality. Therefore, in this paper, a new method based on Least Significant Bit (LSB) using Hough Transform is proposed to improve the stego image quality with increasing the amount of embedded data. The LSB is the common embedding steganography method due to its simplicity of implementation and low complexity. The proposed method inverts the LSBs of image pixels to enhance the quality of stego image. First, improved edge detection filter is used to detect edges areas. Then, we invert LSBs for the pixel in edge area pixels. Finally, the LSBs smooth area pixels of the cover image are inverted. The performance of the presented method is evaluated for the stego image quality and the amount of embedded data. The results show that the new method has better performance in comparison with the current methods in terms of Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and capacity.

The state of the art in predicting tunnel-induced subsidence settlements is based on empirical and analytical methods. Empirical methods are useful when the equations are implemented with host medium properties where tunnels have been excavated. Analytical solutions can predict tunneling-induced ground movements, with the predictions accounting for tunnel radius and depth as well as ground-loss parameters in soft soils. The drawback is that these methods require human intervention, as each model must be adjusted manually by the interpreter until the model signature fits the observed data. It would take tremendous effort to evaluate displacement anomalies detected by remote sensing methods using such forward-modeling methods. Therefore, we present a method based on an inversion algorithm that automatically inverts subsidence signatures for tunnel radius, depth, Poisson's ratio, and the gap parameter. It is an advancement over conventional methods because it does not require a first guess, and it can invert several subsidence signatures in a matter of minutes. The algorithm, coupled with remote sensing-based displacement maps, is a cost-effective solution in operational characterization of displacement anomalies. We demonstrate that observed and predicted subsidence signatures are in good agreement with existing tunnel data in uniform clay and that the inversion parameters correspond to those predicted with forward modeling alone.

Interpreting population responses in the primary visual cortex (V1) remains a challenge especially with the advent of techniques measuring activations of large cortical areas simultaneously with high precision. For successful interpretation, a quantitatively precise model prediction is of great importance. In this study, we investigate how accurate a spatiotemporal filter (STF) model predicts average response profiles to coherently drifting random dot motion obtained by optical imaging of intrinsic signals in V1 of anesthetized macaques. We establish that orientation difference maps, obtained by subtracting orthogonal axis-of-motion, invert with increasing drift speeds, consistent with the motion streak effect. Consistent with perception, the speed at which the map inverts (the critical speed) depends on cortical eccentricity and systematically increases from foveal to parafoveal. We report that critical speeds and response maps to drifting motion are excellently reproduced by the STF model. Our study thus suggests that the STF model is quantitatively accurate enough to be used as a first model of choice for interpreting responses obtained with intrinsic imaging methods in V1. We show further that this good quantitative correspondence opens the possibility to infer otherwise not easily accessible population receptive field properties from responses to complex stimuli, such as drifting random dot motions.

Seismic inversion of amplitude variation with offset (AVO) plays a key role in seismic interpretation and reservoir characterization. The AVO inversion should be a simultaneous inversion that inverts for three elastic parameters simultaneously: the P-wave impedance, S-wave impedance, and density. Using only seismic P-wave reflection data with a limited source-receiver offset range, the AVO simultaneous inversion can obtain two elastic parameters reliably, but it is difficult to invert for the third parameter, usually the density term. To address this difficulty in the AVO simultaneous inversion, we used a subspace inversion method in which we partitioned the elastic parameters into different subspaces. We parameterized each single elastic parameter with a truncated Fourier series and inverted for the Fourier coefficients. Because the Fourier coefficients of different wavenumber components have different sensitivities, we grouped the Fourier coefficients of low-, medium-, and high-wavenumber components into different subspaces. We further assigned different damping factors to the Hessian matrix corresponding to different wavenumber components within each subspace. This inversion scheme is referred to as a multidamped subspace method. Synthetic and field seismic data examples confirmed that the AVO simultaneous inversion with this multidamped subspace method is capable of producing reliable estimation of the three elastic parameters simultaneously.

Sparse deconvolution methods frequently invert for subsurface reflection impulses and adopt a trace-by-trace processing pattern. However, following this approach causes unreliability of the estimated reflectivity due to the nonuniqueness of the inverse problem, the poor spatial continuity of structures in the reconstructed reflectivity section, and the suppression on the reflection signals with small amplitudes. We have developed a structurally constrained multichannel band-controlled deconvolution (SC-MBCD) algorithm to alleviate these three issues. The algorithm inverts for a high-resolution seismogram rather than the full-band reflectivity series, thereby reducing the multiple solutions in the inversion and enhancing the reliability of processing results. We also exploited a structural constraint term to guarantee the spatial continuity of the structures, and we enhanced the relatively weak signals. The reflection structure characteristics, defined and extracted from the observed stacked seismic data, are the core of the structural regularization item. We solved the cost function of the SC-MBCD by the alternating direction method of multipliers algorithm. Synthetic model and field data examples demonstrate the rationality of SC-MBCD and confirmed that the algorithm can provide a better inversion result than the conventional sparse spike inversion in terms of retrieving weak reflection events and guaranteeing stratal continuities.

The reversible invert emulsion drilling fluids can achieve performance of oil based drilling fluid and solve the disadvantages associated by the oil based drilling fluid. This reversible invert emulsion drilling fluid can also focus the advantages of both oil based and water based drilling fluids. The surfactant emulsifier is the currently reported emulsifier used in the reversible invert emulsion. The stability of the reversible invert emulsion drilling fluid is very poor that can be known from the low emulsion breaking voltage. The dosage of the surfactant emulsifier is so much that it can increase the drilling cost and environmental pollution. In this paper, organic amine surfactant-modified nanoparticles are prepared and the modified nanoparticle which can be used to stabilize the reversible invert emulsion drilling fluid is chosen. The stability of the reversible invert emulsion drilling fluid stabilized by modified nanoparticles (emulsion breaking voltage>1100V) is better than the reversible invert emulsion drilling fluid stabilized by surfactant (450V<emulsion breaking voltage<600V). The dosage of the organic amine surfactant-modified nanoparticle emulsifier (2.4 wt.%) is less than the dosage of the surfactant emulsifier (4 wt.%), hence, reducing the drilling cost and environmental threat. The reversible invert emulsion drilling fluid stabilized by modified nanoparticles perform similar to the reversible invert emulsion drilling fluid stabilized by surfactant in the aspect of oiliness cuttings treatment. The reversible invert emulsion drilling fluid stabilized by modified nanoparticles also perform well in the aspect of oiliness cuttings treatment.

Abstract. Characterization of spatial variability of hydraulic properties of groundwater systems at high resolution is essential to simulate flow and transport phenomena. This paper investigates two schemes to invert transient hydraulic head data resulting from multiple pumping tests for the purpose of estimating the spatial distributions of the hydraulic conductivity, K, and the specific storage, Ss, of an aquifer. The two methods are centralized fusion and decentralized fusion. The centralized fusion of transient data is achieved when data from all pumping tests are processed concurrently using a central inversion processor, whereas the decentralized fusion inverts data from each pumping test separately to obtain optimal local estimates of hydraulic parameters, which are consequently fused using the generalized Millman formula, an algorithm for merging multiple correlated or uncorrelated local estimates. For both data fusion schemes, the basic inversion processor employed is the ensemble Kalman filter, which is employed to assimilate the temporal moments of impulse response functions obtained from the transient hydraulic head measurements resulting from multiple pumping tests. Assimilating the temporal moments instead of the hydraulic head transient data themselves is shown to provide a significant improvement in computational efficiency. Additionally, different assimilation strategies to improve the estimation of Ss are investigated. Results show that estimation of the K and Ss distributions using temporal moment analysis is fairly good, and the centralized inversion scheme consistently outperforms the decentralized inversion scheme.

This paper proposes a new bus-invert coding scheme for reducing the number of bus transitions. Unlike the previous schemes in which the entire bus lines or one subset of the bus lines are considered for bus-invert coding, in the proposed scheme, the bus lines are partitioned and each partitioned group is considered independently for bus-invert coding to maximize the effectiveness of reducing the total number of bus transitions. Experimental results show that the decomposed bus-invert coding scheme reduces the total number of bus transitions by 47.2% and 11.9% on average than those of the conventional and the partial bus-invert coding schemes respectively.

ABSTRACT Objective: To evaluate whether vitamin C can help to prevent obesity and hyperglycemia in Wistar rats treated with excess invert sugar to induce prediabetes. Methods: One hundred-day-old Male Wistar rats with a mean weight of 336.58±23.43g were randomly assigned to the following groups: (1) control, receiving water (C); (2) invert sugar control, receiving a 32% watery solution of invert sugar; (3) vitamin C control, receiving a watery solution of vitamin C (60mg/L), and (4) vitamin C plus invert sugar, receiving a watery solution of vitamin C and invert sugar. All animals had access to chow and water ad libitum and were treated for 17 weeks. Prediabetes was assessed according to two criteria: obesity (based on body mass indexand peritoneal fat content) and impaired glucose tolerance (assessed by the intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test and expressed as area under the curve) . Results: Group invert sugar control gained significantly more weight (p=0.035) and visceral fat (p<0.001) than groups vitamin C control and vitamin C plus invert sugar. Consequently, groups vitamin C control and vitamin C plus invert sugar had gained as little body mass index as group C by the end of the experiment. Vitamin C decreased the fasting glycemia of both groups supplemented with vitamin C and normalized the glucose tolerance of group vitamin C plus invert sugar, whose area under the curve matched that of group C. Conclusion: Vitamin C has anti-obesogenic and glycemia-lowering effects in Wistar rats, which might be promising to prediabetics. Future studies are needed to understand the anti-obesogenic and anti-hyperglycemic mechanisms of vitamin C in prediabetes.

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penggunaan ekstrak enzim invertase amobil dari ragi roti dalam pembuatan sirup gula invert dari nira kelapa. Tujuannya adalah untuk menentukan waktu hidrolisis terbaik untuk menghasilkan gula invert menggunakan ekstrak enzim invertase amobil dan efektivitas penggunaan ulang enzim amobil. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan parameter uji variasi waktu hidrolisis yaitu 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 jam dan efektivitas penggunaan ulang enzim amobil. Gula invert yang diperoleh ditentukan dengan metode Dinitrosalisilat (DNS) pada panjang gelombang 540nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu hidrolisis terbaik menghasilkan gula invert adalah 12 jam dengan konsentrasi 116.808 mg/L dan efektivitas penggunaan ulang enzim amobil yang diperoleh sebanyak 3 kali pengulangan dengan penurunan aktivitas enzim sebesar 54,93% .Kata kunci: Nira Kelapa, Enzim Invertase, Amobilisasi Enzim, Gula Invert

Este trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar la logística inversa como estrategia de diferenciación de las empresas exportadoras para competir en mercados dinámicos, a través de la revisión de trabajos de investigación de otros autores que han estudiado específicamente la implementación de la logística inversa en las empresas. Se aplica un enfoque cualitativo mediante los métodos teóricos: histórico-lógico, analítico-sintético e inductivo-deductivo. Entre los resultados, se destaca que las empresas que han aplicado la logística inversa han mejorado su competitividad al reducir costos, reflejando credibilidad en el mercado por sus esfuerzos en minimizar la huella ambiental. Se concluye que la aplicación de las prácticas que abarca la logística inversa, aumenta las posibilidades de diferenciación de la competencia debido a que generan confianza y seguridad a los consumidores.

Context. Inversion codes are computer programs that fit a model atmosphere to the observed Stokes spectra, thus retrieving the relevant atmospheric parameters. The rising interest in the solar chromosphere, where spectral lines are formed by scattering, requires developing, testing, and comparing new non-local thermal equilibrium (NLTE) inversion codes. Aims. We present a new NLTE inversion code that is based on the analytical computation of the response functions. We named the code SNAPI, which is short for spectropolarimetic NLTE analytically powered inversion. Methods. SNAPI inverts full Stokes spectrum in order to obtain a depth-dependent stratification of the temperature, velocity, and the magnetic field vector. It is based on the so-called node approach, where atmospheric parameters are free to vary in several fixed points in the atmosphere, and are assumed to behave as splines in between. We describe the inversion approach in general and the specific choices we have made in the implementation. Results. We test the performance on one academic problem and on two interesting NLTE examples, the Ca II 8542 and Na I D spectral lines. The code is found to have excellent convergence properties and outperforms a finite-difference based code in this specific implementation by at least a factor of three. We invert synthetic observations of Na lines from a small part of a simulated solar atmosphere and conclude that the Na lines reliably retrieve the magnetic field and velocity in the range −3 < logτ < −0.5.

Este artículo es producto del proyecto de investigación “Cyber Security Architecture for Incident Management” desarrollado en la Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito en el año 2018. Introducción: La ingeniería inversa permite deconstruir y extraer conocimiento de objetos. El uso de la ingeniería inversa en el análisis de malware es extremadamente útil para comprender las funcionalidades y los propósitos de una muestra sospechosa. Métodos: Este artículo utiliza Radare, la cual es una de las herramientas de código abierto más populares para ingeniería inversa con el objetivo de hacer frente a las amenazas de malware. Resultados: Se presenta un caso de uso relacionado al análisis de malware anti-sandbox, de forma que sea posible analizar el comportamiento de la muestra utilizando una sandbox. Además, se presenta otro caso de uso en el que se desarrolla un análisis en profundidad de una aplicación maliciosa de Android dirigida a la audiencia de un evento popular (Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2018), que permite demostrar la relevancia de las técnicas de ingeniería inversa en las estrategias de protección al usuario final. Conclusiones: Este artículo muestra cómo los resultados de un proceso de ingeniería inversa se pueden integrar con reglas Yara, lo que permite detectar malware, y también muestra una alternativa para generar automáticamente reglas Yara a través del generador yarGen. Originalidad: El uso de soluciones de ingeniería inversa de código abierto por parte de las agencias de seguridad del estado no ha sido discutido anteriormente, lo que hace de este artículo un elemento notable de apoyo hacia la modernización de las fuerzas militares. Limitación: Se comparten diferentes enfoques y perspectivas sobre las limitaciones en el uso de ingeniería inversa por parte de las agencias de seguridad del estado.

<p>La «discriminación inversa» representa una de las formas de discriminación más flagrante y persistente en la Unión Europea. En recientes sentencias, el Tribunal de Justicia de la Unión Europea (TJUE) parece decidido a combatir los ejemplos más graves de discriminación inversa aplicando una interpretación más extensiva del Derecho de la Unión Europea que su línea de razonamiento tradicional. Mi contribución muestra que la interpretación innovadora del TJUE, pese a los nobles motivos que la animan, no constituye un avance en la dirección correcta porque proporciona nuevos incentivos a los Estados Miembros para introducir o consolidar casos adicionales de discriminación inversa. El artículo explora líneas alternativas para corregir la discriminación inversa, a saber, la enmienda legislativa o el recurso a disposiciones de rango constitucional. La conclusión es que la responsabilidad de resolver el problema de la discriminación inversa corresponde, ante todo, al legislador europeo y a las autoridades de los Estados Miembros, no al TJUE.</p><p><strong>Recibido</strong>: 15.05.2012<br /><strong>Aceptado</strong>: 23.05.2012</p>

Acne inversa is a rare skin disease characterized by recurrent nodules and abscesses that rupture with suppurative discharge and lead to sinus tracts and scarring. The disease is chronic and debilitating. In typical cases, it is diagnosed at late stages, when more aggressive therapeutic treatment is obligatory. There is not generally any accepted therapeutic algorithms, therefore, it is a difficult-to-manage disease, which determines the necessity for further study. We present a clinical case of acne inversa with non-classical phenotypic features and the results of its treatment with systemic retinoids, and metformin. We also provide a review of the literature on the etiology, pathogenesis, and diagnosis of acne inversa. Currently, there is no reliable algorithms of diagnostics and effective treatment for patients with acne inversa, which underlines the importance of further study of this disease.

A Criptografia encontra grande aplicabilidade na proteção de informações sigilosas e pode se constituir como motivadora ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem de conceitos matemáticos. Assim, desafiamo-nos a compreender a estruturação da Criptografia, bem como utilizar a função inversa para codificar e decodificar mensagens. Trata-se de um estudo teórico, a partir da literatura que versa sobre Criptografia e Função Inversa. Para tanto, tratamos da criptografia e sua utilização, sobretudo a partir do advento das tecnologias de comunicação; apresentamos o sistema de criptografia de chave pública – Rivest, Shamir, Adleman (RSA); e o conceito de função inversa. A partir disso, elaboramos uma proposta de atividades didáticas com vistas ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Conclui-se que Criptografia se constitui como uma possibilidade metodológica promissora para o desenvolvimento de atividades didáticas, com vistas à compreensão do conceito de função inversa.

Abstract We study tax and nontax incentives for corporate inversions in a hand-collected data set of 691 inversions out of 11 home countries into 45 host destinations over the 1996–2013 period. Even though lower tax rates generally attract inversions, only 2 of 5 firms invert into tax havens, and two-thirds of firms invert into host destinations with lower statutory tax rates than those faced at home. Moreover, firms invert to geographically close destinations with similar governance standards. Using staggered country-pair-level policy changes as experiments, we find that host-country governance may explain why not all firms invert. A la luz de esta situación, nuestra investigación recoge datos sobre el mercado de la traducción inversa en general y de la traducción hacia el alemán en España en particular. Tras la recopilación de estos datos queda patente la necesidad de la asignatura de traducción inversa en los planes de estudio españoles. Además, como docentes universitarios, debemos ofrecer a nuestros discentes herramientas para poder enfrentarse a esta combinación sin temor ni ansiedad. Para ello proponemos una serie de ejercicios de activación que, en principio, se usan únicamente en clases de alemán para extranjeros, pero que, adaptados a las necesidades de los estudiantes de traducción, les permiten ser conscientes de sus debilidades y, de esta manera, corregir las lagunas gramaticales y estructurales que pudieran presentar. Nuestro objetivo es abrir una puerta a la didactización de la asignatura de traducción inversa, a la vez que dar seguridad y motivación a los discentes. Tras la puesta en práctica de estos ejercicios en dos asignaturas de traducción inversa en centros distintos, vemos resultados positivos que demuestran que estos ejercicios se vuelven básicos para la activación del alemán y de las estrategias de traducción en nuestros aprendientes

Esetismertetés: Egy 56 éves nőbeteg 30 éve fennálló acne inversa betegsége az ambuláns kezelések és többszöri hospitalizáció ellenére progrediált, és a szeméremtestet jelentősen torzító elváltozáshoz vezetett. A roncsolt szeméremtest eltávolítása radikális vulvectomia útján esztétikailag és az életminőség javítása szempontjából is eredményes volt. A szerzők az eset kapcsán ismertetik az acne inversa kóreredetének, differenciáldiagnosztikájának és kezelésének alapjait. Következtetés: A közlemény célja rámutatni arra, hogy a diagnózis felállításának és a sikeres kezelésnek alapfeltétele a társszakmák közötti szoros együttműködés.

Este artigo aborda a construção da metáfora delirante de Schreber, o surgimento do significante “mulher de Deus” e os pontos nos quais ele vivencia transformações em seu corpo por meio dos fenômenos elementares, mais especificamente suas alucinações e delírios. Pretende aí articular a evolução de seu delírio com a invenção de um corpo que possa ser gozado e que lhe permita se nomear. O corpo, segundo a psicanálise, é atravessado pela linguagem, não é o corpo biológico e, por isso mesmo, é marcado pelo significante. Na psicose, o acontecimento do corpo vem como uma resposta a algo que ultrapassa o sujeito, pois o significante aí se corporifica como gozo do Outro. Os acontecimentos de corpo na psicose são efeitos da foraclusão do Nome-do-Pai, significante que, por estar incluído fora, no máximo mantém o Imaginário fragilmente atado ao Real e ao Simbólico por meio das ‘bengalas imaginárias’. Essas são recurso de compensação à amarração borromeana aí inexistente por efeito da foraclusão. Uma vez que a imagem do corpo é o suporte da relação do sujeito com o desejo do Outro, Schreber inventa o seu corpo com a imagem feminina delirada para satisfazer a Deus. E se o delírio já é uma tentativa de cura, uma invenção de um saber (S2) que vem dar sentido ao S1, pretendemos aqui esclarecer como o delírio pode servir para inventar um corpo, que na psicose está despedaçado por efeito da foraclusão. Schreber, ao consentir o gozo do Outro na figura de Deus, fez sutura em sua realidade psíquica e inventou um corpo próprio habitável. Inventar um corpo próprio foi, portanto, o modo de Schreber fazer suplência ao Nome-do-Pai foracluído. Com isso, houve uma restituição da realidade psíquica e uma contenção do gozo do Outro por meio da imagem desse corpo transmudado em corpo de mulher, restaurando assim a imagem de si e, desse modo, estabilizando seu delírio.

To monitor the changes in the force of the tunnel invert steel bars after the groundwater level changes, field tests were performed to accurately and comprehensively characterize the stress acting on the rebar of a tunnel invert. Changes in stress and temperature were monitored for two layers of rebar (upper and lower) in an actual tunnel invert during its repair. The results showed that the changes in stress followed different paths for the upper and lower layers. After the groundwater is replenished, the maximum tensile stress of the rebar was 17.3 MPa, and the maximum compressive stress was 120 MPa. Major changes in stress were observed 2–6 days after rain. Based on this, the seepage path of groundwater is analyzed. During this period, the compressive stress increased threefold, and the tensile stress increased 9.5-fold. The rebar stress in the tunnel invert followed a Gaussian distribution after stabilizing. Four phases of stress progression are identified and discussed. The results can provide data support and theoretical basis for the treatment of invert floor heave in enriched water tunnel.

Considerando que o desempenho em cada parte desse subteste implica em funções cognitivas diferentes, a determinação dos padrões de desempenho e das discrepâncias pode ser útil na investigação clínica. O artigo apresenta os resultados das amostras de normatização brasileiras dos testes WISC-III e WAIS-III nas ordens direta e inversa dos dígitos, analisando-se as discrepâncias entre cada uma delas. Os sujeitos recordaram mais dígitos na ordem direta do que na inversa. No WISC-III, a mediana da quantidade máxima de dígitos que as crianças memorizaram foi de cinco na ordem direta e três na ordem inversa. No WAIS-III, a mediana alcançada pela amostra foi de cinco dígitos na ordem direta e de quatro na inversa. O número de dígitos retido foi menor que o reportado para as amostras de normatização americanas.

One of the most important tasks when drilling a borehole is to select the appropriate type of drilling fluid and adjust its properties to the borehole’s conditions. This ensures the safe and effective exploitation of the borehole. Many types of drilling fluids are used to drill holes for crude oil and natural gas. Most often, mainly due to cost and environmental constraints, water-based muds are used. On the other hand, invert drilling fluids are used for drilling holes in difficult geological conditions. The ratio of the oil phase to the water phase in invert drilling fluids the most common ratio being from 70/30 to 90/10. One of the disadvantages of invert drilling fluids is their cost (due to the oil content) and environmental problems related to waste and the management of oily cuttings. This article presents tests of invert drilling fluids with Oil-Water Ratio (OWR) 50/50 to 20/80 which can be used for drilling HPHT wells. The invert drilling fluids properties were examined and their resistance to temperature and pressure was assessed. Their effect on the permeability of reservoir rocks was also determined. The developed invert drilling fluids are characterized by high electrical stability ES above 300 V, and stable rheological parameters and low filtration. Due to the reduced content of the oil, the developed drilling fluid system is more economical and has limited toxicity.

Abstract. This paper presents the GARRLiC algorithm (Generalized Aerosol Retrieval from Radiometer and Lidar Combined data) that simultaneously inverts coincident lidar and radiometer observations and derives a united set of aerosol parameters. Such synergetic retrieval results in additional enhancements in derived aerosol properties because the back-scattering observations by lidar improve sensitivity to the columnar properties of aerosol, while radiometric observations provide sufficient constraints on aerosol amount and type that are generally missing in lidar signals. GARRLiC is based on the AERONET algorithm, improved to invert combined observations by radiometer and multi-wavelength elastic lidar observations. The algorithm is set to derive not only the vertical profile of total aerosol concentration but it also differentiates between the contributions of fine and coarse modes of aerosol. The detailed microphysical properties are assumed height independent and different for each mode and derived as a part of the retrieval. The GARRLiC inversion retrieves vertical distribution of both fine and coarse aerosol concentrations as well as the size distribution and complex refractive index for each mode. The potential and limitations of the method are demonstrated by the series of sensitivity tests. The effects of presence of lidar data and random noise on aerosol retrievals are studied. Limited sensitivity to the properties of the fine mode as well as dependence of retrieval accuracy on the aerosol optical thickness were found. The practical outcome of the approach is illustrated by applications of the algorithm to the real lidar and radiometer observations obtained over Minsk AERONET site.

Introduction and purpose: Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) also known as acne inversa is a chronic, inflammatory dermatosis with predilection to apocrine gland-rich regions. It is a multifactorial disease in which genetic and environmental factors play a key role. In this paper, we provide an overview of the current knowledge in most commonly used and emerging treatment options of HS. A brief description of the state of knowledge: The primary defect in HS pathophysiology involves follicular hyperkeratosis with occlusion of the pilosebaceous apparatus, followed by follicular rupture and immune responses. It typically develops after puberty with deep-seated painful nodules, abscesses, sinus tracts and scars. Due to the permanently painful, odorous lesions, hidradenitis suppurativa is one of the most distressing dermatological diseases with a substantial impact on patients’ quality of life. Inflammation in patients with HS is not limited to the skin but is systemic. Patients with HS frequently have significant comorbidities like metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes mellitus, spondyloarthropathy, inflammatory bowel disease and depression. Treatment is challenging and consists of pharmacological and surgical techniques, which must often be combined for best results. Materials and methods: A search was conducted using PubMed and GoogleScholar data bases. Articles were searched in English using the following key words: “hidradenitis suppurativa”, “acne invera”, “treatement”, “management”, “biological treatement”. Summary: Therapeutic options have rapidly evolved in the last decade and include the use of topical therapies, systemic antibiotics and a wide range of immunosuppressive medications such as anti-TNF-α biologics, but the number of therapies approved for HS is limited.
