One of the steps that taken by the Government of Tarakan City in supporting the development of the city is by the way of developing transportation of infrastructure in the form of a road network that aims to provide accessibility, for making it easier for people to do the movement. This study aims to find out the sale value of land for connection with the accessibility of the road and to know the accessibility factor of the road that has the most influence on the sale value of land in the city of Tarakan. Sampling was conducted on three streets namely, Yos Sudarso road, Mulawarman road, and Sudirman road as the location of this research. From the data that obtained were analyzed by using statistical analysis that using by multiple regression. For this analysis shows that the results of 70.6% of the variable sale value of land can be explained by the intensity variable of city transportation. The most influential accessibility factor of the sale value of land is the intensity of city transportation, which every addition of public transportation 8 vehicle / hour will increase the sale value of land amounted to Rp. 394,527.40 per m².

This study investigates the determinants of advertising intensity using panel data on 66 four-digit Turkish manufacturing industries from 1993–1999. The results from pooled OLS and fixed-effects regressions support a quadratic relationship between advertising intensity and concentration: Advertising intensity first increases with the concentration ratio, and when the concentration ratio rises above a certain threshold, increases in the concentration ratio decrease the advertising intensity. The results also indicate that more profitable and faster-growing industries advertise more intensively. Product durability, exporting intensity, and the sale of consumer goods appear to be additional factors influencing advertising intensity. However, the evidence regarding these factors is not very strong.

Flash sale (FS) is a marketing strategy that is widely used and developed in sales through e-commerce. The implementation of the FS strategy is to provide discounts or special propositions on products offered within a certain time limit. Time restrictions aim to encourage consumers’ emotions to make impulse buying (IB). This study examines the effect of consumer emotions as a mediating variable on IB among Shoppee consumers in Indonesia caused by FS activities that are not carried out on certain important days. The required data were collected through the distribution of online questionnaires to respondents who, in the last three months, had made transactions through Shoppee e-commerce platform. A total of 150 questionnaires are analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results of the analysis show that the flash sale strategy carried out by the Shoppee e-commerce platform in Indonesia has a direct effect on increasing consumer emotions. This means that the higher the intensity of the FS promotion, the stronger the influence on consumer emotions. Emotions increase IB. FS has no significant effect on increasing IB. Subsequent findings show that FS indirectly has a positive and significant effect on IB through emotions. In other words, this study proves that the emotions are a mediating variable in online IB. This study is helpful for companies in developing appropriate strategies for their promotions in utilizing consumers’ impulse buying behavior by using strategies that trigger consumers’ emotions.

The article is based on the idea of forming conceptual foundations for diagnostics of the competitiveness of the resource potential of the enterprise based on the study of relevant innovation needs taking into account the dynamics of the intensity of markets for sale of commodity products. The relevance and importance of this study is emphasized by modern globalization and transformation processes in commodity markets, especially in markets of raw materials. Fluctuations in prices and rapid dynamics of change in both supply and demand require to ensure the stable development of the study of enterprises and analysis of competitiveness of their resource potential in order to form a further strategy for their successful development. The article develops tools for assessing the level of competitiveness of the resource potential of the enterprise in the context of innovation needs taking into account the dynamics of the intensity of markets for sale of commodity products based on the criterion of profit maximization «marginal revenue  marginal costs». On the basis of the conducted research the diagnostics of the level of competitiveness of the resource potential of the enterprise in the context of innovation needs taking into account the dynamics of intensity of markets for sale of commodity products, on which basis it is proposed to build an evaluation matrix. It is offered to apply a methodical approach of construction of a range of diagnostics of dynamics of change of a ratio of the net income and prime costs of the sold production of the enterprise. Using the data of financial statements, the calculation of quantitative values of the multiplicative integrated indicator of competitiveness of the resource potential of the enterprise in the context of the dynamics of markets for sale of commodity products (pellets) of PJSC «Poltava GZK» by the criterion «marginal revenue  marginal costs» in 2014, the integrated assessments of the level of competitiveness of the resource potential were built depending on the trends of its state in the context of the relevance of innovation needs, and taking into account the dynamics of the intensity of markets for sale of commodity products. According to the diagnostics of the dynamics of changes in the ratio of net income and cost of sales of the enterprise based on the criterion of profit maximization «marginal revenue  marginal costs» it was concluded that there is no special need for innovative changes at the moment at PJSC «Poltava GZK».

An analysis of the dynamics of the market for fruits imported to Russia has been carried out. The market volume, exporters, and sales volume of tropical fruits in Russia have been studied. The factors shaping the quality of tropical fruits are considered. When ensuring logistics, customs clearance, and storage in distribution centers, it is necessary to take into account the actual degree of maturity of climacteric fruits and manage technological regimes at all stages of product distribution, with regard to the physiological state of the product. The work studies the influence of temperature conditions of storage and ripening of avocado fruits on the duration of storage of fruits and the intensity of the processes responsible for their ripening. The values of respiration intensity and ethylene concentration during storage of avocado fruits, which make it possible to determine the degree of ripeness of the fruit and control the duration of their storage, have been established.

This, however, requires access to real-world data for developing and validating models. With this objective in mind, we have prepared and made publicly available high-frequency datasets containing nearly six weeks of actual transactions and cashier operations from a grocery supermarket belonging to one of the major European retail chains. This dataset can provide insights on how the intensity and duration of checkout operations changes throughout the day and week.

This research aim to determine the characteristics of the informal sector in the city Denpasar. The sample of this study was 50 respondents who were taken based on non probability sampling and data collection instruments use are questionnaire. The result of this study indicates that the characteristics of informal sector workers when viewed from the social side which is dominated by workers with education last high school (56%), meried status (72%), type of main job (56%), morning working hours (07.00-finished) (64%), daily sales intensity (80%), with fixed place of sale (56%), the average length of sale is less than 5 years (50%), with their own workers (68%). Characteristics when viewed from the demographic side which is dominated by women (58%), with an age range of 27 to more than 40 years (28%), from Karangasem regency (34%), where they live contracting/leasing (58% ), the type of merchandise sold is in the from of goods mixed (34%), with holiday intensity never having a day off (70%). Characteristics of the informal sector when viewed from the economic side, namely strating with initial capital an average or more than Rp. 400,000 (40%), and average monthly income an average of more than Rp. 1,100,000. from Karangasem regency (34%), where they live contracting/leasing (58%), the type of merchandise sold is in the from of goods mixed (34%), with holiday intensity never having a day off (70%).

Une consommation excessive de sel (NaCl) augmente considérablement le risque de maladies cardiovasculaires. Cependant, la consommation moyenne reste jusqu’à deux fois supérieure à la recommandation de l'OMS, qui est de 5 g par jour. La réduction de la consommation de sel est donc une priorité absolue pour prévenir les maladies non transmissibles telles que les maladies cardiovasculaires. Jusqu'à présent, l'industrie a déjà réussi à réduire les teneurs en sel de nombreux aliments commerciaux, mais la nécessité de poursuivre la réduction de la consommation de sel reste pressante. L'une des principales préoccupations est que les consommateurs augmentent leur consommation de Sel Discrétionnaire (SD) pour compenser la perte de goût, ce qui rendrait la reformulation des aliments moins efficace. Jusqu'à présent, l'utilisation du sel discrétionnaire a reçu peu d'attention et n'est pas clairement ciblée par les recommandations, bien qu'elle contribue significativement à la consommation globale de sel.Objectifs :Ce projet de thèse s'inscrit dans ce contexte ; il fait partie du projet global et multidisciplinaire Sal&Mieux (fondé par l'Agence Nationale de la Recherche), qui vise à identifier des leviers sur la façon d'optimiser l'utilisation du SD. Deux objectifs principaux ont été définis pour cette thèse : (i) mieux comprendre comment le SD interagit avec les matrices alimentaires, puis comment celui-ci est libérée dans la bouche en fonction de différentes pratiques d’assaisonnement ; (ii) identifier les conséquences en termes de goût salé et de la saveur ; le défi étant d'identifier les pratiques domestiques qui permettent d’optimiser un maximum l'utilisation du SD. L'hypothèse de base est que, selon le type d'aliment et les pratiques de salage, le SD interagit différemment avec la matrice alimentaire et est libéré dans la bouche selon divers schémas dynamiques qui déterminent la perception globale du goût salé.Méthodologie :Le travail de thèse était basé sur des approches expérimentales complémentaires suivant une voie transdisciplinaire. Premièrement, la Résonance Magnétique Nucléaire 23Na (RMN) et l'Imagerie Magnétique Nucléaire (IRM) ont été utilisées pour évaluer quantitativement l'interaction et la distribution du sodium pour une variété de matrices alimentaires (carottes, pâtes et poulet) et de pratiques de salage (moment de l'ajout de sel, forme des cristaux de sel, influence de l'ajout d'arôme). Deuxièmement, une évaluation sensorielle a été réalisée pour mettre en évidence les pratiques domestiques susceptibles d'améliorer la perception sensorielle du SD. En outre, la libération temporelle du sodium des produits alimentaires a également été contrôlée in vitro à l'aide d'un simulateur de bouche dédié.Résultats :Ce travail a permis de démontrer pour la première fois que la consommation discrétionnaire de sel pouvait être réduite grâce à certaines pratiques domestiques d'assaisonnement et ce pour une large gamme d'aliments réels. Nous avons observé que le salage après la cuisson, conduisait à une plus forte intensité salée par rapport au salage au début du processus de cuisson. Cette plus forte intensité du goût salé a été particulièrement observée lors de l'utilisation de sels commerciaux (sel de mer fin et fleur de sel). Nous avons démontré sur la matrice carotte que cette augmentation du goût salé était due à une distribution hétérogène du sel dans la matrice alimentaire lors du salage après cuisson. Cette distribution inhomogène induit une libération de sel très variable pendant la mastication, créant des pulse de sel qui sont connues pour renforcer le goût salé. Nous avons également démontré que l'utilisation d'arômes, dont certains disponibles au supermarché, pouvait renforcer l'intensité du goût salé d’aliments domestiques.En fin de compte, ces pratiques de salage peuvent contribuer de manière significative aux initiatives mondiales visant à réduire la consommation de sel
Excessive salt (NaCl) intake is known to increase dramatically the risk of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). However, the average consumption is still twice the WHO recommendation of 5 g per day. Reducing salt intake is therefore a top priority to prevent non-communicable diseases such as CVDs. Thus far, the industry has already successfully lowered salt levels in many commercial foods but the need to pursue the reduction of salt intake remains pressing. A major concern is that consumers increase their use of discretionary salt (DS) to compensate for the loss of taste, which would make food reformulation less effective. The use of DS has received little attention so far and it is not clearly targeted by recommendations even though it contributes to salt intake.Objectives:This thesis project is anchored within this context; it is part of the global and multidisciplinary project Sal&Mieux (founded by the French ANR), which aims at identifying levers to be transferred in operational guidelines on how to optimize DS use. Two main objectives were defined for this PhD: (i) better understand how DS interacts with food matrices, then how it is released in the mouth depending on various seasoning practices; (ii) identify the consequences in terms of salty taste and flavor perception; the challenge being to identify the best domestic practices to optimize DS use. The core hypothesis is that, according to the type of food and the salting practices, DS interacts with the food matrix differently and is released in the mouth following various dynamic patterns that drive overall salty taste perception.Methodology:The thesis work was based on complementary experimental approaches following a transdisciplinary path. First, 23Na Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Magnetic Nuclear Imaging (MRI) were used to quantitatively evaluate the interaction and distribution of sodium for a variety of food matrices (carrots, pasta, and chicken) and salting practices (moment of salt addition, shape of salt crystals, influence of flavour addition). Second, sensory evaluation was performed to underline domestic practices that can increase sensory perception of DS. In addition, the temporal release of sodium from food products was also monitored in vitro using a dedicated mouth simulator.Results:This work demonstrated for the first time that discretionary salt consumption could be reduced by certain domestic seasoning practices, for a wide range of real foods. We observed that salting after cooking led to a higher saltiness intensity than salting at the beginning of the cooking process. This higher intensity of salty taste was particularly observed when using commercial salts (fine sea salt and fleur de sel). We demonstrated on the carrot matrix that this increase in salty taste was due to a heterogeneous distribution of salt in the food matrix during salting after cooking. This inhomogeneous distribution induces a highly variable release of salt during chewing, creating salt pulses that are known to enhance salty taste. We have also demonstrated that the use of flavourings, some of which are available in supermarkets, can reinforce the intensity of the salty taste of domestic foods.Ultimately, these salting practices can make a significant contribution to global initiatives to reduce salt consumption

Questo elaborato tratta della programmazione delle attività operatorie al fine di razionalizzare l'uso delle risorse posto letto per le diverse intensità di cura (alta, media e bassa intensità). Il contesto di riferimento è quello di un Polo Chirurgico, in particolare il Polo Cardio-Toro-Vascolare del Policlinico Sant'Orsola-Malpighi di Bologna, con a disposizione delle sale operatorie e dei posti letto. Il problema analizzato riguarda lo stretto legame esistente tra la programmazione delle attività di sala, quindi le vere e proprie prestazioni da erogare ai pazienti, e la successiva occupazione di posti letto da parte del paziente. L'elaborato si compone di quattro capitoli. Nel capitolo 1 viene presentato il contesto ospedaliero e normativo di riferimento, trattando in particolare la normativa vigente in Emilia Romagna per la gestione delle liste d'attesa. Nel capitolo 2 sono descritte le attività propedeutiche alla risoluzione del problema. In particolare, sono descritti i database di partenza e le elaborazioni necessarie ad individuare le informazioni relative alle degenze. Nel capitolo 3 è proposto un modello di programmazione lineare intera al fine di formalizzare il problema. Il modello risponde alla necessità di chiarire le diverse ipotesi di evoluzione delle degenze, oltre ad avere lo scopo di fornire una guida per la stesura dell'algoritmo euristico. Nel capitolo 4 è presentato un algoritmo euristico, insieme ad alcune possibili varianti, e vengono discussi dei punteggi per valutare le varie soluzioni. Si noti che la particolarità della soluzione consiste nel differenziare la degenza per livelli di intensità richiedendo, quindi, che il posto letto in ciascun livello sia disponibile esattamente quando necessario. La necessità di definire uno specifico punteggio per valutare le soluzioni diverse è legato alla volontà di non utilizzare solamente lo stesso punteggio con cui i pazienti vengono ordinati, perché ritenuto non sufficiente allo scopo valutativo.

Sale intensity is always one of the major subjects that business is concerned about. We propose a mathematical model based on the concept given by Vidale-Wolfe to characterize the behavior of sale intensity. Using the sense of diffusion in heat equation, we could characterize the behavior of sale intensity starting from the spontaneous sale intensity caused by the circulating of information. The behavior of changing on sale intensity under the effect of diffusing by the circulating of information and the promoting activities can be generally modeled as nonhomogeneous heat equations. However, because of the great difference between cases, the problem formulating and model solving cannot be generally modeled as one certain nonhomogeneous heat equation and are restricted to be discussed case by case.% The further sale intensity is predictable possibly with sufficient data, but without sufficient data, we can also use the model to appraise the spontaneous sale intensity and the benefit of each advertising strategy in practical. Different from most previous relevant studies, the model supports the studies of sale intensity diffusing over geographic regions, which is especially of significance in spontaneous sale intensity.

À Morlaix, en Bretagne, un théâtre abandonné a suscité l’intérêt d’un groupe d’étudiants de l’École nationale supérieure d’architecture Paris-Malaquais. Durant une semaine, ils ont visité, étudié, relevé, modélisé et ainsi contribué à rendre compréhensibles ces vestiges du XVIIIe siècle, profondément transformés à la fin du XXe siècle. Invisible depuis la rue, son état de délabrement permet de saisir l’essentiel de la composition de la salle, tandis que la partie scénique a totalement disparu. À partir de documents d’archives, d’une enquête sur place et de relevés de détails, les étudiants ont échafaudé des hypothèses de reconstitution à différents moments de ce témoin scénique régional. À l’aide d’outils numériques, ils ont pu, dans un temps restreint, reconstituer en partie cet ouvrage avant que cette construction ne disparaisse totalement (workshop intensif 27 septembre-1 octobre 2021). À l’issue d’une semaine de recoupements et de recollements, ils ont présenté à des élus locaux, à des riverains comme à l’Architecte des Bâtiments de France le résultat certes partiel mais révélateur de l’intérêt de cet ouvrage oublié. In Morlaix, French Brittany, an abandoned theatre caught the attention of a group of students from the École nationale supérieure d’architecture Paris-Malaquais. Over the course of a week, they visited, studied, surveyed and modelled this eighteenth-century building, which was radically transformed by the end of the twentieth century. Invisible from the street, the dilapidated state of the building allows one to grasp the essence of the room’s composition, while the stage area has completely disappeared. Based on archival documents, an on-site investigation and detailed surveys, the students came up with hypotheses for reconstructing this regional landmark at different points in time. Using digital tools, they were able to redesign part of the structure in a very short space of time (intensive workshop 27 September-1 October 2021), before it disappeared altogether. After a week of cross-checking and piecing together the data, the students presented the fruits of their labour to local councillors, residents and the Architecte des Bâtiments de France (a government official), their admittedly partial results revealing the interest of this forgotten structure.

AbstractThe sale of dietary supplements in Romania has become increasingly important, competition is high and the online environment is an important channel for communication, promotion and sales. With the growth of online sales of dietary supplements, the increase in the number of users on social media platforms and mobile applications, there has been a significant increase in the number of companies that have chosen to promote their products online. Apart from that, there are other reasons for intensive online promotion: low cost, control and sorting of the target audience, analysis of the results, but also the lack of Romanian regulated legislation controlling online advertising of dietary supplements and especially on social media platforms. In this paper, we aim to identify the online marketing strategies used in the promotion of dietary supplements by five leading Romanian companies according to a study conducted in 2020 by the publication “Ziarul Financiar”, conducting a content analysis of how these companies promote themselves online and what strategies they use for this purpose. The data obtained from the analysis reveals that the online marketing tactics and strategies adopted are designed to increase the market visibility of dietary supplement companies, and that companies that develop strategies such as affiliate marketing, association with a virtual community or discussion group, etc., stand to gain. This approach and the results obtained can be helpful and relevant to specialists in the field.

Abstract The study explores the use of thermo-catalytic decomposition (TCD) of methane to produce hydrogen (H2) and solid carbon. The research focuses on the performance of a proprietary molten metal catalyst in a TCD reactor, evaluating methane conversion efficiency and carbon quality under various operating conditions, including flow rates, pressure, and temperature. The results demonstrate that increasing the temperature from 920°C to 1030°C enhances methane conversion efficiency from 61% to 94%. Catalyst loss was minimal at 0.03%/day, primarily due to manual solid carbon removal. The study also found that higher pressure (from 1 to 12bar) increases H2 yield, from 69% to 85%. The solid carbon produced includes valuable forms such as cryptocrystalline graphite (CG). The TCD process shows an 80% reduction in CO2 intensity compared to traditional steam methane reforming (SMR). This novel approach, termed Turquoise hydrogen production, is economical, modular, and does not require clean water or precious metals, offering potential economic benefits through the sale of high-value carbon materials.

We have measured the form of a nonlinear transformation of retinal illuminance in the human visual system by measuring the detectability of the distortions it produces and approximating the transformation with orthogonal polynomials. Superimposing two interference fringes, of frequencies f1 and f2, produces a neural distortion product that can be more easily detected than the fringes themselves. The amplitudes of difference frequencies produced at (2f2 − f1) and (f 2 − f1) were measured separately by finding the contrast of superimposed fringes necessary to produce a threshold grating of 10 cpd. These thresholds, along with the threshold for a 10 cpd fringe, determine a set of simultaneous equations that yield the coefficients of the polynomials. As no distortion products of spatial frequency (mf2 – f1) could be detected when m > 2, we approximated the transformation with a third-order polynomial. The function that results depends somewhat on mean retinal illuminance, but it has the shape of a simple, saturating function that is more linear, and saturates more abruptly, than the function V = l/(l + s). A tenfold change of mean illumination changes the sale of intensity by slightly less than tenfold.

One of the effects of the COVID-19 crisis is the significant acceleration of e-commerce. The number of companies and the varieties of products in the online markets increased, as well as the numbers of consumers and consumers’ segments diversification. The e-commerce in pandemic times offered clear benefits and opportunities for the consumers. It also created situations where the lack of confidence in e-commerce may intensify. This comes from the consumers’ uncertainty on their key contractual rights and it is particularly a case when it comes to the contracts for supply of digital content and digital services. The European Union considered that legal certainty for consumers (and businesses) will increase by full harmonisation of key regulatory issues and that this would lead to growth of the potentials the e-commerce has on the common market. Aiming to achieve a genuine digital single market the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament in May 2019 have adopted the Directive (EU) 2019/770 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services (the "Digital Content Directive") and the Directive (EU) 2019/771 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods (the "Sales of Goods Directive") that regulate the supply of digital content and digital services and sale of goods with digital elements, respectively. Both directives lay down specific rules on the conformity of digital content or a digital service i.e., goods with digital elements with the contract, remedies in the cases of a lack of conformity or a failure to supply, as well as the modalities for the exercise of those remedies. The paper analyses the mechanisms for regulation of the contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services and the specific rights and obligations of the parties to these contracts. The main objective of the research is to assess to which extent these mechanisms are novelty in the European Consumer Law and to examine the obstacles that the application of consumer law to digital content contracts may encounter.

Modern flour mills continuously mix up to 80 intermediate flour streams into 3–6 final streams, whereby each intermediate stream can be allocated to only one final stream. All streams are characterized by several intensive properties and a yield. The decision for mixing allocation involves maximizing the total sale value of all final streams, such that each of them corresponds, with respect to its property ranges, to a flour that can be sold on the trade market. The decision must thereby respect any constraints on the allocation variable and on the yields of the final streams. In this work, a tool is developed that automatically performs the discrete optimization for the allocation problem and outputs the best mixing decision for the given situation. Using heuristics-based optimization, the tool respects all constraints, selects the most lucrative combination from all possible traded flours, and determines the allocation of each intermediate stream to one of the selected traded flours. The optimization method can accommodate nonlinear mixing rules. The tool can trivially be extended to other mixing allocation problems, e.g., to select input streams with minimal total cost to mix to a single output stream with specified property and yield ranges.

Abstract Objective Use of near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy for Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) measurement has enabled condensate stabilizers at natural gas separation sites to optimize their operation, resulting in significantly lower energy usage, less gas production, more liquid conserved, more on-spec product, and higher profitability. The combination of energy usage optimization and an improved liquid/gas ratio provides a double benefit in both Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria and return on investment (ROI). Optimization is achieved by utilizing the 15-second measurement interval of the JP3 Verax NIR on-line analyzer for process control, as compared to manual control. In condensate stabilizers, RVP is reduced by removing light components (C4-: butanes and lighter hydrocarbons) by heating; these are sent to a compressor for vapor recovery. In many instances, the light hydrocarbon gas is flared off when it is uneconomical to transport it for sale. The remaining condensate goes to a reboiler and a cooler before being sent to pipeline. The reboiler heats the liquid fraction before recirculating it to the column; the cooler uses pumped water in a heat exchanger to reduce the stabilized condensate temperature and vapor pressure for storage and transport. These are energy-intensive processes – the compressors use electricity, the reboiler burns fuel gas, the coolers use electricity and large volumes of water, and waste gas flaring impacts carbon credits and allowances. Optimizing these processes via real-time process control informed by RVP measurement can provide substantial benefits in each energy-consuming step.

Abstract Gas developments are required to facilitate energy transition from carbon intensive energy to a sustainable balance of green and blue energy. The next decade will focus on exploiting gas fields globally to support this. A significant number of these fields are located in deepwater and /or are long distances from existing gas processing / LNG plants. Transporting large volumes of gas from remote gas fields over longer distances and in deeper waters remains technologically and economically challenging. Conventional and near-term development options include subsea compression, floating vessels with topside compression and pipeline tie-back to shore, or floating liquefied natural gas vessels. This paper and study are supported by The Oil & Gas Technology Centre (OGTC) and UK Oil and Gas Authority. It examines development options for a 200 km long 1700 m water depth tie back using integrated production modeling linked to power demands, along with installed steel tonnages. The Scope 1 and 2 emissions per unit of gas produced are analysed via a life cycle assessment using ISO 14044 as guidance for a long-distance gas tieback to the point of sale (inclusive of processing to sales specification). The major power intensive equipment used to develop these fields will be presented showing their proportion of the power consumption compared with the total; these include compression either onshore, offshore or subsea as well as the efficiency of the power generation devices in these environments. The paper will highlight the economics of each option and how varying the carbon price changes the commercial position of each option. The paper will show that by understanding what drives emissions, and how emissions relate to the amount of gas produced, that concept selection can drive upwards of 50% reduction in life cycle carbon emissions whilst improving project economic performance. This paper examines multiple innovative technologies, providing technology readiness of new concepts based on the benchmarked study focusing both economic and carbon emission aspects. Finally, the paper will show that better economic outcomes with the decarbonisation of gas gathering systems is technically possible and can be deployed subsea to help meet the energy transition and allow the development of remote and deeper gas fields.

Abstract Monetization of marginal gas field is often a challenging task, wherein quantum of gas available is very small. In remote field unavailability of gas consumers, lack of infrastructure, long gestation period makes it an unattractive investment. In this paper, a comparative analysis of available technology helped to take a wise decision among available technology to monetizing marginal fields For early monetization options such as power generation, utilize it as compressed natural gas (CNG), Gas to Liquid (GTL), Liquefied natural Gas (LNG) and Gas to wire (GTW) was explored. A detailed techno-economic analysis of these have been carried out which enabled us to take a concrete decision. Scenarios such as variation of production performance, tweaking the production profile for optimum return on investment, option of utilization of diesel for internal or sale to oil marketing company (OMC). Sensitive analysis has been carried out to draw conclusion to achieve the best possible return in investment. CNG is one of the way to monetize gas by compressing it up to 250 kg/cm2g and then transporting it into a cascade mounted truck. In a remote location, where consumers are not available nearby, transportation of CNG is a difficult task and would require multiple stages of transportation & cascade storage. LNG is basically natural gas converted in liquid form by cooling it to –260° F (–162° C). Changing it from a gas into a liquid that is 1/600th of its original volume and thereby transportation will become easier. In GTW, gas is used to generate power. In GTL, gas is catalytically converted into useful product such as synthetic crude, diesel, kerosene etc. Earlier, conversion of gas into diesel was not only cost intensive but also requires high space and hence, generally not accepted for small volume of gas. A detailed techno-economic analysis depicts that conversion of gas into diesel is attractive in investment but has an issue with Indian standard quality required for IC engine. CNG or LNG which was once non-viable are viable with reference to current open market scenario This approach will open a plethora of opportunity and will open a flood gate to monetize the marginal gas field which time and again remains stranded. Apart from marginal gas field, the said approach is also useful for minimization of flare gas and will contribute significantly in energy transition.

INTRODUCCIÓN Y DESCRIPCIÓN DEL CASO: Mentalizar es la capacidad de acceder a la representación de los estados mentales de los demás y verse condicionado por ello. Significa percibir e interpretar la conducta tal como la aplican nuestros estados mentales intencionales. Se ha visto que las personas con trastornos de la personalidad presentan un desequilibrio en las dimensiones de la mentalización, que desencadena uno de los principales factores nucleares de dichos trastornos, la impulsividad. MÉTODO: Presentamos el caso de una paciente con trastorno por consumo de alcohol en contexto de Trastorno Límite de Personalidad (TLP) que es derivada a Hospital de Día para realizar tratamiento psicoterapéutico intensivo. RESULTADOS Se trata mujer de 36 con diagnóstico de TLP desde los 18 años. Está soltera y no tiene descendencia. No presenta antecedentes médico-quirúrgicos de interés. Cuenta con 6 ingresos en planta de psiquiatría por intentos suicidas, todos realizados en contexto de intoxicaciones etílicas. Ha iniciado 3 procesos de intento de abstinencia a alcohólica llevados a cabo en diferentes Centros de Atención a Drogodependencias (CAD), con periodos de abstinencia máximos de 3 meses. Ha consumido puntualmente de otras drogas (cannabis, cocaína) en contexto de ocio nocturno. Antecedente de familiar de primer grado fallecido a los 55 años por cirrosis alcohólica. Durante las diferentes entrevistas de evaluación la paciente describe una clínica caracterizada por una espiral de desbordamiento emocional e ingestas masivas de alcohol; suele sentirse abrumada por sus propios sentimientos y por la conciencia de los sentimientos de los demás, repitiendo un patrón de certeza acerca de lo que otros piensan o sienten hacia ella (desprecio, odio y humillación), transitando en estos episodios con emociones que van desde la tristeza, a la rabia y el abandono. El dolor es descrito entonces con tal intensidad que según la paciente “solo grandes cantidades de alcohol pueden actual como anestésico”. Se le propone tratamiento en hospital de día por un periodo de entre 12 a 24 meses que la paciente acepta. Tras 11 meses realizando Terapia Basada en la Mentalización (TBM) y tratamiento ambulatorio en CAD de manera concomitante se observa una disminución de las conductas relacionadas con la impulsividad, entre ellas el consumo de alcohol, manteniendo en la actualidad 9 meses de abstinencia. CONCLUSIONES: • El abuso de alcohol tiene una alta incidencia en nuestra sociedad, siendo uno de los principales motivos de consulta en Salud Mental. Es un importante trastorno comórbidos en los pacientes con caracteropatías, empeorando su evolución por diferentes motivos (empeoramiento anímico, disfunción interpersonal, marginación social…). • La impulsividad es uno de los factores nucleares del TLP, que sale a la luz, cuando el paciente pierde la capacidad de mentalización. El enfoque de tratamiento en este aspecto es clave para tratar los consumos adictivos que de ella se han podido derivar. • Se hace imperioso un mayor conocimiento de la TBM como abordaje de los TLP, intuyéndose con ella un beneficio en los pacientes con patrones de consumo asociados a la impulsividad.

Uruguay implemented an ambitious financial inclusion program that included a fiscal stimulus through VAT rebates and subsidies for point of sale (POS) adoption. One of its main provisions banned cash payment of wages and social benefits and forced financial institutions to open wage-accounts with extremely beneficial conditions. In the aggregate, the number of debit cards transactions increased sharply. We test the wage-banking channel of the financial program exploiting differences in the treatment intensity between public sector and private sector workers. We find that while the provision of bank accounts increased the number of debit cards, it had modest effects on the probability of payment with cards that are mostly produced by a more intensive use of debit cards by those who already had them before the Financial Inclusion Act went into effect. Thus, the aggregate effects must be produced by the fiscal channel of the financial inclusion program. Finally, we fail to find effects on either access to short-term credit or expenditure or savings.
