Pełny tekst źródłaThis dissertation comprises three essays exploring key aspects of brokerage dynamics, insidership acquisition, and the role of social networks in internationalization. Essay 1 delves into brokers' decisions, proposing that their actions hinge on altering power balances between parties. Supported by empirical evidence from case studies of Chinese entrepreneurs in France, the essay elucidates the conditions under which brokers engage with outsiders. Essay 2 shifts focus to brokering outcomes, emphasizing the importance of expectancy and value in shaping local insiders' cooperation. Through interviews with Chinese entrepreneurs and additional data, the study unveils the intricate dynamics of cooperation in cross-cultural contexts. Lastly, Essay 3 conducts a systematic review of social networks' impact on internationalization, highlighting their role in firms' internationalization. By synthesizing insights from existing literature, the essay offers valuable perspectives on the mechanisms driving international business endeavors. Together, these essays contribute to a deep understanding of the complexities inherent in international business interactions
