Метою дослідження є встановлення аналітичних закономірностей та історичних зв’язків в тріаді «краса – корисність – функціональність» на прикладах industrial design швейних машин. Методологія. Використано комплекс загальнонаукових підходів: аналітичний, системно-інформаційний та метод теорії множин для якісної оцінки змін промислового дизайну швейних машин побутового та промислового призначення. Результати. На основі проведених досліджень проаналізовано та узагальнено вплив формоутворення на красу історичних та сучасних швейних машин човникових та ланцюгових стібків. На засадах теорії множин встановлені закономірності зміни діаграм Венна для трьох груп швейних машин як об’єкту industrial design. Введені нові поняття «міні-графіті в швейних машинах» та «прозорість непрозорих об’єктів», яка поєднана з 3D-рухом деталей при роботі машин зі штучним інтелектом. Сформульовано принципи industrial design швейних машин з урахуванням історичного досвіду та роботи машин в реальному часі: принцип K2F; принцип 3D-прозорості непрозорих рухомих і нерухомих елементів машин; принцип міні-графіті в швейних машинах. Наукова новизна. На основі аналізу та аналітичних досліджень встановлені законо­мірності та нові зв’язки в тріаді «краса, корисність. функціональність» різновидів швейних машин за сформульованими принципами industrial design швейних машин та функції K2F. Вперше введене поняття швейні машини зі штучним інтелектом як об’єкту дизайну. Практична значущість. Результати дослідження можуть бути використані для створення реляційної бази даних industrial design швейних машин, а запропоновані методи аналітичних досліджень на засадах діаграм Венна і функції Едвіна-Харрінгтона можуть бути застосовані для якісного та кількісного аналізу предметного та промислового дизайну технічних та технологічних об’єктів різних галузей промисловості. Результати впроваджені на практиці в авторських інноваційних дизайн-проектах: дизайн-проекті «Industrial Design швейних машин»; дизайн-проекті інтер'єру «міні ательє Iнь і Янь».

Urgency of the research. Prior to industrialization, individuals undertaking design were artisan craftsman, one canspeculate on what expertise and knowledge those active in design might need in a futurepost industrialist age. Currently, though, the activity of industrial design is generally linked to product development in a manufacturing context. Industrial Design is inextricably a part of innovation and it can make a contribution in the broad categories of innovation activity: Target setting. Industrial design is only one sort of design. It has much in common with architecture and the various versions of design within engineering. Indeed the relationship between industrial design and mechanical and production engineering is similar to that enjoyed by architects with civil engineers. Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. A design method is a normative scheme that specifies in detail a certain working procedure, the activities to perform, and also specifies order in which the activities should be carried out. It is usually very precise, and the designer is to follow it meticulously. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. Most articles and other publications relating to problem of humanmachine interaction, reduces this problem on ergonomic of controls and displays. In my article will be the ergonomic only one the constrains and I will not re-publish in my work anthropometric parameters, but I will put my effort on less common, but very important factors of industrial design in robotics. The research objective. Concept originality means number of innovative features or technologies encompassed to robot concept. Score is for innovations could be in robot kinematic chain, drives, cabling, workspace, user interface, safety, etc. The statement of basic materials. Engineering design has merit in continuous improvement of the basic parameters of the robot by applying newest outcomes of technology areas of mechanics, metallurgy, cybernetics to robot construction and control. Main objective of engineering design is to improve positioning accuracy, repeatability, load capacity, service life by the reduction of weight, energy demand, ecology impact and prices. Conclusions. Design must be understood as a word that describes both a process and an outcome. It is the process of turning ideas into material things. Design cost is typically a very small portion of total product cost, but design process has major impact on product success.

In the course of the 1950s, Italian industrial design underwent a period of professionalisation and rose to international fame under the banners of ‘Made in Italy’ and ‘la linea italiana’. Seen in retrospect, Italian design retained this position during the 1960s, with the onset of avant-garde ‘pop-design’ and ‘anti-design’. Yet this future development was by no means a given in the Italian design community at the turn of the decade. At this crucial moment, between the rationality of the first postwar period and the playfulness of the second, allegations of a ‘crisis’ in Italian industrial design raised a storm in the professional community for a brief period around 1960. This article analyses this heated debate, focusing on its most pronounced manifestation: the discussions in the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (ADI) and the design magazine Stile Industria following the jury's decision to withhold the Gran Premio Nazionale Compasso d'Oro for 1959.

Through speculation of parasitic relationships among organisms, the paper proposes a parasite design model, which further enriches design methodology of industrial design. The paper clarifies design classification of “specific parasite design” and “compatible parasite design”, “parasite design of single host” and “parasite design of multiple hosts”, summarizes specific design methods of parasite design model, including substances sharing method, function borrowing method, energy drawing method, information sharing method and parasitic alternative method. The paper emphasizes that connection issue is the key of parasite design; good connection is the guarantee of functional implementation in parasitic products and effective communication of energy and information. Simultaneously, the paper explains that parasite design possesses the capabilities of meeting the requests of low-carbon design, reducing the use of materials, improving energy efficiency, expanding the functions of the original things, enhancing the information efficiency, expanding and saving available space etc.

Generative Design is an up to date topic in recent decades in areas such as industrial product design, architecture, and interaction design. It can be defined as finding the basic codes of “creating” and presenting a flexible implementing plan for design with certain algorithms. Examining the roots and reasons of Generative Design is the subject of this article. Nigel Cross’s article “The Coming of Post-Industrial Design" which investigates the paradigm shift at industrial product design after “Modern Movement” and puts forward suggestions for future, has taken as basis.
