Resumo: Este trabalho procura traçar uma visão abrangente da complexidade e importância do ídolo e do herói no futebol, procurando compreender sua influência nas decisões de transformar sonhos de infância em profissão. Como auxílio para esta compreensão e análise, utilizou-se de instrumentos da Antropologia, com base em referenciais da etnografia, entre eles a entrevista intensiva e a análise de documentos. Foram entrevistadas onze (11) pessoas que compõem o cenário futebolístico, sendo nove jogadores profissionais e dois ex-jogadores profissionais. O referencial teórico foi traçado de modo a compreender a importância do futebol na vida do brasileiro, da sua chegada como uma atividade de lazer e como rapidamente transformou-se em um ¿habitus¿ local. Entendendo o futebol como um jogo absorvente, procurou-se definir mito e imaginário para entender algumas questões recorrentes ao futebol brasileiro. As questões discutidas foram: a figura de Charles Miller como o introdutor do futebol no Brasil, o ópio do povo, futebol como identidade nacional, o dom no futebol, o debate sobre o estilo de jogo, conhecido como futebol-arte e futebol-força, e as questões relativas ao sonho de ser jogador profissional (início, tentativa e concretização do sonho). Todos os tópicos são apresentados como um suporte para a discussão central da dissertação, sendo que mito e imaginário servem de base para a investigação sobre os ídolos e heróis no futebol, a importância deles no processo, as diferenças conceituais e a influência dessas figuras na construção do sonho de ser jogador profissional
Abstract: This study tries to delineate a broad view of the idol and hero importance and complexity in football, in order to comprehend its influence of transforming childhood dreams in profession. For its understanding and analysis, we used anthropology instruments based on ethnography referential, which were the intensive interview and the document analysis. Eleven (11) people who compose the football view were interviewed, nine professional players and two ex professional players. The theoretical referential sought to understand the football importance in Brazilian lives, from its arrival as a leisure activity, until it became a local ¿habitus¿. Considering football as an absorbent game, we tried to define myth and imaginary to comprehend the several questions about Brazilian football. The discussed issues were: the Charles Miller character as the football introducer in Brazil, the people¿s opium, football as a national identity, the gift in football, the debate about game style, known as art football and strength football, and the matters related to the dream of being a professional player (beginning, attempt, and dream coming true). All the topics are presented as a support for the central discussion of the study, considering myth and imaginary as the basis for this investigation about idols and heroes in Brazilian football, their importance in the process, the conceptual differences and the influences of these characters on the creation of the dream of being a professional player

Detta examensarbete handlar om förebilders och idolers påverkan när det gäller val av instrument och musik, med fokus på elgitarren, samt vilka andra drivkrafter som påverkar detta. Syftet med arbetet är att få kunskap om olika drivkrafter som påverkar viljan att spela ett instrument. Teoretisk utgångspunkt för studien är den sociokulturella teorin. Tidigare forskning inom området behandlar exempelvis sociala normer, förebilders påverkan på människor samt ramfaktorer inom undervisning. Jag har använt mig av den kvalitativa forskningsintervjun som metod, och mina informanter är elgitarrister med varierande ålder och musikalisk bakgrund. Resultatet visar att uppväxtmiljöer och medias påverkan spelar roll i valet av instrument, men för att fortsätta spela efter ungdomsåren krävs en starkare ambition eller förebild. Diskussionen belyser exempelvis idolskapets fram- och baksidor samt hur efterfrågan på idoler förändras med tiden. En slutsats är att förebilder är viktiga, men också föränderliga förutsättningar för bibehållen motivation för spelande.
This is a study of how role models and idols affect the choice of instrument and music, with focus on the electric guitar, and which other driving forces that affect this. The intention with the study is to achieve knowledge about different driving forces that affect the will of playing an instrument. The theoretical point of the study is the sociocultural theory. Earlier studies on the subject are about social values, the affect role models have on people, and the frames of teaching and learning. I have used qualitative interviews, and my informants are electric guitarists with varied age and musical background. The result shows that growing-up environments and the affection from media affect the choice of instrument, but a stronger ambition is needed to keep on playing after the youth has passed. The discussion enlightens for example the positive and the negative sides of idolizing, and how the demand for idols changes through time. One conclusion is that role models are important but also changing conditions for sustained motivation in playing.

Resumo: A pesquisa desenvolvida buscou analisar a primeira obra impressa de língua de sinais de que se tem notícia no Brasil, a Iconographia dos Signaes dos Surdos- Mudos, de autoria de Flausino José da Costa Gama. Flausino da Gama era surdo e aluno do Imperial Instituto dos Surdos-Mudos; empreendeu a sua obra, utilizando a técnica da litografia, em 1875. Por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, foi possível conhecer a obra e também todo o contexto que se apresentava à época em que Flausino decidiu estabelecer uma iconografia para a língua brasileira de sinais. O estudo também revelou que, ao elaborar o seu trabalho, Flausino da Gama reproduziu as pranchas de uma obra intitulada L'Enseignement Primaire des Sourds-Muets mis a la portée de tout le monde avec Une Iconographie des Signes, de autoria de um surdo francês chamado Pierre Pélissier. À luz dos elementos básicos que compõem a linguagem visual, analisamos a obra de Flausino para compreender a forma de constituição da mesma. A Iconographia dos signaes dos surdos-mudos de Flausino da Gama é formada por vinte estampas que apresentam 382 sinais, excetuando-se o alfabeto manual, também presente na obra. Além disso, traz 18 estampas com descrição verbal dos sinais que compõem o trabalho. Por meio dessa empreitada esperamos elucidar a origem da iconografia da língua brasileira de sinais e desmitificar a pessoa de Flausino, importante personagem da história da educação de surdos no Brasil e da língua brasileira de sinais
Abstract: The aim of this study was to analyze the first known sign language publication printed in Brazil, which was the Iconographia dos Signaes dos Surdos-Mudos, designed by Flausino José da Costa Gama. Flausino da Gama was deaf, and studied at the Imperial Institute for Deaf-Mutes. He produced his book in 1875 using lithography. Bibliographic and documentary research methodology enabled us to study the publication and understand the historical context of the period in which Flausino undertook the challenge of producing an iconography of Brazilian sign language. The study revealed that Flausino da Gama reproduced folios from an earlier French work entitled L'Enseignement Primaire des Sourds-Muets mis a la portée de tout le monde avec Une Iconographie des Signes, that was authored by a deaf Frenchman named Pierre Pélissier. Flausino's oeuvre was analyzed according to visual language categories in order to understand the rationale for its constitution. The Iconographia dos signaes dos surdos-mudos of Flausino da Gama is made up of twenty folios with a total of 382 signs, not counting the manual alphabet that is also present in the book. The publication also includes 18 folios with verbal descriptions of the signs that are in the book. By means of this study, we hope to clarify the origin of the iconography of Brazilian sign language, as well as bring to light an understanding of Flausino and his special standing for Brazilian sign language, as he has become a mythical figure in the history of the education of the deaf in Brazil

The following sketch attempts to look at the ways in which Francis Bacon helped to bring about the modern age by presenting a system of skepticism, in the form of his doctrine of idols, which initiated the break away from classical philosophy and Christian theology and made room for a new, secular science. By looking at Bacon’s peculiar and esoteric writing style as well as his detractors’ assessments of him, I show not only what they got wrong about Bacon but also and more importantly that many of their criticisms of Bacon’s role in the history of science and philosophy depend on his very success in brining about a reformation of men’s minds. I show how far-reaching his doctrine of the idols is and how it initiated the trend in modern philosophy to create systems of skepticisms that are based on human reason’s self-criticism. Finally, I show how Bacon’s doctrine of idols led to his refutations not only of philosophical doctrines but of Christian theology as well

Resumo: o autor estuda a presença de símbolos e mitos no mundo contemporâneo a partir de uma seleção de filmes deste período. O trabalho tem início com uma revisão das formulações sobre símbolos e mitos, segundo os diversos autores, ao longo dos tempos. Opta pelo conceito de símbolo de Paul Ricouer e por uma concepção de mito como desdobramento dinâmico e dramático dos símbolos. A partir de vários autores que estudaram os símbolos e mitos no mundo atual, elabora um protocolo de avaliação do material cultural representado por uma seleção de filmes. Seu pressuposto é de que material simbólico e mítico relevante pode ser encontrado nas produções culturais contemporâneas e de que o roteiro que elaborou permitirá avaliar este material. Apresenta a análise de 21 filmes, que são tabulados em seguida. Conclui que estão presentes elementos simbólicos e míticos relevantes nos filmes analisados, sendo que ,estes satisfazem total ou parcialmente os critérios do protocolo de avaliação utilizado. O material simbólico e mítico encontrado apresenta temática variada, sem que se encontre, do ponto de vista do conteúdo, um denominador comum, como os deuses do Olimpo, na mitologia grega. Que o material encontrado, a despeito do conteúdo heterogêneo, apresenta temas formalmente semelhantes como os heróis, os aspectos da natureza e da cultura. Que heróis continuam apresentando-se, sob uma roupagem moderna, como modelos para o desenvolvimento humano. Que a abordagem dos temas relacionados com a tecnologia sugere que este avanço técnico necessita ser mediado culturalmente, ou seja, na linguagem mítica, permitido pelos deuses e orientado pelos heróis que estabelecem o modelo exemplar das ações humanas. O material obtido sugere que as criações culturais do homem no campo dos rituais de passagem, como casamento, entrada no mundo adulto, funerais, estão sendo transformados, mas o espírito humano continua insistindo no ritual que acomoda o conteúdo e faz a ligação com o universal. O material examinado sugere que, no âmbito do estudo realizado, a uniformidade de algumas manifestações do espírito humano é constatada e se coloca acima das culturas singulares. Conclui, ainda, que as práticas psicoterapêuticas contemporâneas necessitam incorporar o estudo e a utilização do conhecimento da simbologia e mitologia atuais para o atendimento mais adequado de sua clientela, cuja demanda pode ser descrita comoa busca,porparte de cadaum,de seumitoindividual
Abstract: The author studies the presence of symbols and myths in the contemporary world deriving it ftom an analysis of movies dating ftom this period. The study begins with a review of fonnulations about symbolsand myths, following different authors along the time. He chooses Paul Ricouer's concept of symbol and a conception of myth as a dramatic unfolding of symbols.Deriving ftom many authors who studied present day world symbols and myths he elaborates a cultural material evaluation itinerary represented by a selection of movies. Ris assumption is that symbolic and mythic material can be found in contemporary cultural productions and the itinerary will allow to evaluate this material. He presents the analysis of 21 contemporary movies, which are afterwards tabulated. He concludes that the presence of symbolic and mythic elements is verified in the analyzed movies, satisfying totally or partially the evaluation protocol criteria that were utilized. Symbolic and mythic material found are spread among varied themes, without coming across a common denominator on the content point of view. What is found is that a. the material analyzed, despite the heterogeneous content, shows fonnally similarthemes like the heroes, nature and culture aspects; b. heroes continue to be presented, under modem clothing, as models for human development; c. the approach of technology-related topics suggests that this technical advancement needs to be culturally mediated, meaning, allowed by gods and oriented by heroes which establish the exemplary model of human actions. Gathered material suggests that man's cultural creation in the field of passage rituals, like marriage, entrance to adult world, funerals are being transfonned, but the human spirit continues to insist in the ritual that accomodates the content and makes the connection with the universal aspectoExamined material suggests that, in the scope of the study that was penonned, uniformity of some human spirit manifestations is seen and is found above singular cultures; d. contemporary psychotherapeutic practices need to incorporate the study and utilization of up-to-date symbology and mythology for better serving its clientele, whose demand can be described as the search for, by each and every one, his/her individualmyth

Resumo: O cenário demográfico que se delineia no Estado de São Paulo é caracterizado pelo aumento envelhecimento relativo populacional e da participação relativa e das taxas de mortalidade por neoplasias malignas entre as causas de óbito. A estreita associação entre mortes por neoplasias malignas e a população idosa reforça a importância deste estudo, que apresenta como proposta investigar a relação entre as condições de vida dos idosos e a mortalidade por neoplasias de colo de útero, mama feminina e próstata para o Estado de São Paulo no ano de 2000. Parte-se do pressuposto que as desigualdades socioeconômicas se expressam nos diferenciais da mortalidade por neoplasias entre idosos e seu comportamento ao longo do tempo. Resgata-se as dimensões socioeconômicas e demográficas da mortalidade, numa tentativa de não se restringir à simples mensuração da desigualdade em saúde. Elege-se, como variáveis socioeconômicas para compor perfil socioeconômico dos idosos, os anos de estudo e rendimento domiciliar per capita, tendo como categorias de referência o analfabetismo funcional e o rendimento igual ou superior a 5 s.m. per capita. Para tanto, o Estado de São Paulo é dividido em Direções Regionais de Saúde (DIR) e a população idosa em grupos etários qüinqüenais e por sexo. Os anos censitários, que auxiliam a compreensão da evolução temporal, são 1980, 1991 e 2000. Através de análises de correlação e graus de dispersão, a dissertação aponta como resultados que: (1) ocorre um aumento mais significativo das taxas específicas de mortalidade por neoplasias entre idosos com idades mais avançadas no decorrer dos anos; (2) quanto maior a participação relativa do analfabetismo funcional entre os responsáveis pelo domicílio, menor são os riscos de morrer por neoplasias malignas; (3) quanto maior a proporção de domicílios com rendimento per capita igual ou superior a 5 s.m., maiores são as taxas específicas de mortalidade; (4) a localização e distribuição dos centros de saúde de alta complexidade, segundo as DIR¿s influem na magnitude das taxas; (5) as neoplasias de mama feminina e próstata apresentam maiores índices de correlação entre as taxas e as variáveis socioeconômicas, sendo que o comportamento de colo de útero seria mais aleatório
Abstract: There is a demographic scenery for the State of São Paulo (Brazil) characterized by population ageing and an increasing rate of death, among this population, caused by malignant neoplasms. Based on these findings, this study intends to investigate the relation between socioeconomics and demographic pointers and mortality by malignant neoplasms ¿ uterine cervical, feminine breast and prostate ¿ among the aged population of the State of São Paulo and its health regional services during the year of 2000. Presuming that the socioeconomics inequalities are expressed in the mortality rates by malignant neoplasms among aged people, it was elected as variables to compose the socioeconomic profiles, schooling and per capita domicile income. The reference categories are determined as functional illiteracy and the income of 5 minimal salaries or above per capita. The State of São Paulo is divided by the ¿regional health services¿ (DIR) and the aged population by sex in 5-aged groups. The census years which helps to understand the time evolution are 1980, 1991 and 2000. Through descriptive analysis as well as linear models adjusts, the results suggest that: (1) there is a significative increase in the mortality rates by malignant neoplasms among the eldest and this tendency does not present a homogeneity aspect among the DIR¿s; (2) the rate of mortality due to feminine breast and prostata cancers is, unexpectedly, higher in the more developed regions; (3) in areas with health centers of high complexity for cancer treatment, the same tendency occurs, i.e. the highest levels of deaths as a consequence of neoplasms in aged population were observed.

Skateboard är inte bara en bräda utan en fysisk aktivitet som har kommit för att stanna. En skateboard innefattar mycket mer än bara åkandet, det har skapats en rik kultur och som närmast kan ses som en livsstil, ett sätt att leva för dess utövare. Skateboardkulturen har egna kläder, symboler och värderingar som skapar uttryck för de individer som utövar och lever i kulturen. Det existerar också många konkreta exempel och likväl tankar och funderingar kring förebilder och idoler inom skateboardkulturen.   Syftet med undersökningen är att studera hur unga skateboardåkare förhåller sig till och definierar förebilder och idoler. För att kunna tolka och analysera de unga skateboardåkarnas utsagor behövs även en förståelse för deras perspektiv. Med andra ord syftar den här uppsatsen också till att beskriva och analysera den omgivande kulturella och sociala kontext i vilken utsagorna hör hemma.   Med hjälp av intervjuer och inspiration från etnografin har jag intervjuat sex stycken unga skateboardåkare om hur de förhåller sig till förebilder och idoler. Die Autorin untersucht in einer qualitativen Studie die Aneignung von medialen Bezugspersonen im Jugendalter mit Fokus auf die Einbindung von Musikidolen in die Lebenswelt junger Gothics. Ihre These ist, dass bei Gothics im Unterschied zu Fans von Mainstream-Musikern der Populärkultur übergreifende Wert- und Lebensstilorientierungen vorliegen. In ihrem theoretischen Überblick über das Forschungsfeld geht die Autorin auch auf Aneignungsmodi und die individuellen Funktionen von Stars für die Bewältigung von Entwicklungsaufgaben im Jugendalter insbesondere für die Identitätsbildung ein. Nach einer schriftlichen Befragung zur Sondierung des Feldes wird die Hauptstudie vorgestellt, die ausführliche Interpretation eines qualitativen Interviews mit einem Jugendlichen der Dresdner Gothic-Szene. Diese Fallstudie ist nicht nur wegen der biografischen Besonderheiten und schwierigen Lebensumstände des Jugendlichen aufschlussreich – es gelingt der Autorin auch, ihre These einer ganzheitlichen Verwendung von Musik-Idolen bei Gothics beispielhaft aufzuzeigen
In this qualitative study the authoress researches the adoption of media attachment figures in the adolescence, focusing the inclusion of music idols in the lifeworld (Lebenswelt) of young goths. Her hypothesis is that for goths, in contrast to fans of musicians in other facets of popular culture, there are overarching value and lifestyle orientations. In her theoretical overview of the research field, the authoress describes adoption modes and also contemplates on the individual functions of stars concerning the way of coping with development tasks in adolescence – especially concerning the development of identity. After an exploring survey the main study is presented – a detailed case interpretation of an interview with an adolescent member of the goth scene of Dresden. This case study is interesting not only because of the biographical characteristics and difficult circumstances of life – the authoress also succeeds to demonstrate her hypothesis of the holistic usage of a music idol

This studys main purpose is to discuss how the participants of the reality show Ídolos, broadcasted by Rede Record de Televisão, perform themselves to their publics, in order to attract attention and achieve the position of celebrities. Thus, we are discussing the notions of performance, representation, celebrity and framing, which proved to be important concepts to guide our empirical analysis, once they enabled us to discuss both how individuals act towards those with whom they are interacting and how a world of meanings and significations crosses the actions in this reality show. We developed discussions concerning the format and structure of the program; the reciprocal affectation between the competitors while acting in a situation of interaction; the universe of meanings and significations hidden behind the phenomenon of celebrities; the kind of relationship that this universe established among individuals as well as the shared meanings that cross social life. The corpus of this work is the program's third season, broadcasted in 2008. More specifically, we chose to focus on the participation of the winner of Ídolos, Rafael Barreto. We analyzed his interactions with members of the jury, the presenter, other competitors, the audience and the viewers, throughout the season. The choice of Rafael Barreto was due to his route in the program, which enabled an understanding of how the actions were weaved along the reality show. According to the conceptions that guide this work, we understand that the subjects and the social are constituted and constituent of an interaction. We also understand the interaction as a place a locus where we can see meanings and practices that cross social relations.
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal pensar sobre como os participantes do reality show Ídolos, veiculado pela Rede Record de Televisão, performam a si mesmos diante de seus públicos, na busca por destaque e por ocupar o lugar de celebridade. Tendo isso em vista, é feita a discussão dos conceitos performance, representação, celebridade e enquadramento, os quais se mostram importantes para embasar a análise empírica, ao possibilitar que pensemos sobre como os sujeitos desenvolvem suas ações em relação àqueles com quem interagem e sobre os universos de sentido que atravessam as ações dentro desse reality show. São desenvolvidas, então, reflexões sobre o formato e a estrutura do programa; sobre como os indivíduos afetam uns aos outros, através de suas ações em uma situação de interação; sobre o universo de sentidos que está por trás do fenômeno das celebridades e o tipo de relação que ele faz emergir entre os sujeitos, assim como sobre significados compartilhados que permeiam a vida social. Para a realização do estudo, foi definido como corpus deste trabalho a terceira temporada do programa, veiculada em 2008. Mais especificamente, focou-se a análise das participações do vencedor do Ídolos, Rafael Barreto, de quem são observadas as interações com os jurados, com o apresentador, com os outros participantes, com o auditório e com os telespectadores, durante toda a temporada. A escolha desse participante se deve à sua trajetória dentro do programa, que possibilita o entendimento de como as ações são tecidas ao longo do reality show. Conforme a concepção que orienta este trabalho, entendem-se os sujeitos e o social como constituídos e constituintes da interação; assim como a interação como lócus em que se dão a ver significados e práticas que permeiam as relações sociais.

Resultado do hibridismo entre a doutrina católica - propagada pelos jesuí­tas e mal assimilada pelos Í­ndios - e as crenças nativas, a Santidade teve o poder de arrebatar para o seu culto os próprios colonos portugueses, fascinados pelo grau de participação exigido em suas cerimónias. É este aspecto que O Ídolo de Pedra utiliza para provar a hipótese de que a popularidade da seita jazia justamente nessa oferta de uma experiência mí­stica inexistente nas celebrações da Igreja Católica da época.
The Stone Idol is a fictional attempt to recreate the episode known in Brazilian history as A Santidade de Jaguaripe (The Jaguaripe Sanctity), an indian cult that flourished in the sixteenth-century, in Bahia, and was labelled as a heresy by the Inquisition during its first visit to Brazil in 1591. A result of the hybridism between the Catholic doctrine - propagated by the Jesuit fathers and misunderstood by the Indians - and native beliefs, the Sanctity had the power of enthralling even the Portuguese settlers, fascinated by the degree of participation demanded in its cerimonies. It is this very aspect that The Stone Idol employs to put forward the hypothesis that the cults popularity lay exactly in the offer of a mystic experience that was absent from the Catholic church celebrations at the time.

Denna uppsats undersöker koreansk populärmusiks explosiva framfart från slutet av 1990-talet och framåt. Den försöker svara på vad K-pop och dess idoler mer specifikt har representerat och erbjudit fans att konsumera och koppla detta till dess växande popularitet i ett historiskt perspektiv. Vidare försöker uppsatsen svara på varför K-pop gradvis har vuxit markant från slutet av 2000-talet i perifera regioner som Sverige. Uppsatsen analyserar ett urval av idolers representation i olika medier och källor som behandlar hur svenska fans förhåller sig till K-pop. Resultaten visar att idoler historiskt och med tid mer frekvent medverkat i många olika medieformat där de byggt upp en performativ image i relation till den rådande diskursen som en form av skådespeleri. Samtidigt har de idoler som följt kopierat originalkonceptet till det yttersta, vilket då också inbegriper plastkirurgi. Detta har resulterat i en ökning av ofta oskiljbara men visuellt vackra idoler. För många fans så ligger här en stor del av attraktionen; möjligheten att konstruera sin egen avgränsade konception av idoler för att fylla olika behov. För svenska fans så verkar det som att detta likaså är en del av anledning till dess växande popularitet när gränsen mellan det verkliga och fiktiva suddas ut. Det är också en möjlighet att anamma ett annat figurativt universum där exotiska idoler i sin allomfattande roll fritt kan konsumeras inom K-pop diskursen.

Les images platoniciennes et présocratiques de l’attelage de l’âme ailée et du char du démiurge ont fait l’objet de très nombreuses exégèses de la part de Plotin et de Proclus à qui l’on doit la théologie triadique ; de la part de Philon d’Alexandrie, Pic de la Mirandole ; et également des kabbalistes juifs qui leur adjoindront les représentations de l’Arche d’Alliance et du Trône de gloire. Chagall et Kandinsky peindront, quant à eux, le char de feu d’Elie mis en concordance chez ce dernier avec la figuration de l’envol de l’âme de l’artiste. Les poètes comme Dante, Hugo, Lamartine, Vigny mettront en vers tour à tour le mythe homérique, l’allégorie platonicienne ou la parabole religieuse dans une poésie humaniste. Ainsi l’exégèse a-t-elle assuré aux images platoniciennes plus qu’une survivance, mais une véritable évolution intellective au profit d’un renouvellement constant de la pensée. The Platonic and preSocratic allegories of the winged vehicle are the object of very numerous examinations, from Plotin and Proclus by means of the triadic theology. Philon d’Alexandrie, Pic de la Mirandole and the haggadic and cabalistic texts gave them the Alliance Arche representation. Kandinsky and Chagall painted the inflamed vehicle of Elie, in accordance with the symbol of takeoff. Dante, Hugo, Lamartine, Vigny, like poets, sang in humanist way the Homeric myth, the Platonic allegory or the religious parable. Hence the human gesture assures to it much more than a survival, but a real intellectual evolution for the benefit of a constant renewal of the understanding and the thought. Put in movement by Plato, the Homeric myth became a ‘‘logioned’’ myth by means of the speculative speech, but also a containing sign which collected the halves of the speech : belief and reason, through the nave unifying. In the run-up towards the One, the harness of the soul becomes a clearly circular symbol. Consequently, the analysis of a myth declined in an allegorical multitude of representations requires an analogical study and an interdisciplinary link between the human sciences by the coming together of various schools of thought : from preSocratics to neoPlatonics, from mystic Christian to mystic Jewish, from Scholasticism to Humanism, by the way of two important disciplines. A philological approach puts texts in competition, and hermeneutic adapts the currents of thoughts to an ideal of wisdom. They have a direct relationship to the universal and structural alternative of the pratice and the theoretical, like the moving image of eternity

First, we wil build an analytic model, a simple one, an we will use It to try to identtify the main weak points on the Architechture. The study of adolescents’ idols has an over 100-year tradition. The meta-analysis of Teigen, Normann, Bjorkheim and Helland (2000) showed that idols, which are commonly understood as role models, changed over the last century which is attributed to changes in the social context. The present paper argues that Social Identity Theory (Tajfel & Turner, 1979, 1986) offers an appropriate theoretical framework to conceptualize social context by hypothesising a functional relationship between idols and identity management strategies moderated by the status position of the adolescent’s group s/he belongs to. The hypothesised functional relationship was tested in two studies with white and black adolescent South Africans. The results of the two studies supported our assumptions that the functional relationship between idols and identity management strategies is indeed moderated by status position. The results also indicate that Social Identity Theory seems to be an appropriate theoretical framework when social context is particularly conceptualised as social change.

Vi ville ta reda på om och isådana fall hur sådana inslag berikar undervisningen. För att söka svar på detta lät vigenomföra en studie där vi skickade ut enkäter och höll intervjuer med ett antalyrkesverksamma pedagoger. Resultatet av vår undersökning visade på en avvikelse mellanpedagogernas hållning till och praktiska utövning av undervisning med populärkulturellaförtecken. Undersökningen åskådliggjorde också lyckade exempel på hur populärkulturenkan inkorporeras i undervisningen och därmed gynna utveckling och arbetsgång för såvälelev som lärare.

The research investigated the artistic and photographic processes corresponding with two studies motivated by the artist's personal history and focused on the role, affect, and history of various female idols represented in art, religion, and modern American popular media. The first part of the study documented female models as they were simultaneously asked by the artist to think of a range of personal but nonspecific moments from her life, the women were asked not to share their thoughts, only the moment spent thinking, with the artist. The second part of the study documented aspiring models as they awoke during sunrise in the nightwear they slept in. This study incorporated landscapes near the models home. A similar notion is exemplified between the two studies as the models are asked to procure an intimacy with the photographer and in consequence with the viewer. The written part of the study gathered information regarding the female idols presence in a variety of cultures and eras, which transitioned to question the female idols current role in western culture. Findings showed that all idols stress an approved appearance, behavior and morality; furthermore research shows that the modern female idol stresses an importance on appearance more than any other factor. The research continued by breaking down the importance of a viewer-subject relationship in iconography and other artworks. A focus was made on what factors might create this viewer-subject relationship, and furthermore what do the subtleties of the subject tell the viewer. Reference of the artist's memories of an inconsistent female role model in her own life combined with the idols that were constantly solicited by the media resulted in this investigation. A positive relationship was found between the photographic process and the study of models in personal moments.

La figure de la chanteuse populaire reflète au Japon la réalité de la condition féminine dans ce pays. Alors que l'archipel a traversé, à l’instar de la France ou des États-Unis, une période marquante des mouvements féministes, qui généra une timide amélioration de la place des femmes dans la société, la majorité des Japonaises est toujours aux prises avec une norme sociale qui leur demeure ingrate et défavorable : selon le rapport du « Forum économique mondial sur les disparités entre les sexes » publié en 2017, le Japon se situerait en terme d'égalité des sexes au 114e rang sur 144 pays. Derrière cette réalité, c'est avec une notion du genre hypernormée et bien ancrée dans la société que les Japonaises sont contraintes de composer, quel que soit leur milieu d'origine. Dans le monde de la musique populaire japonaise, cette norme sociale régissant les représentations féminines se répercute sur la posture de bien des chanteuses, soit dans l'immaturité naïve renvoyant à la vulnérabilité, soit dans une certaine magnanimité fondée sur la maternité, ces deux attitudes n'étant pas nécessairement incompatibles. Là où nombre de leurs homologues d’autres styles musicaux intériorisent ce carcan social, certaines idoles féminines se montrent particulièrement représentatives de ce phénomène.Depuis le 11 mars 2011, la société nipponne a vu grossir les rangs de ses artistes opposés au nucléaire, non sans alimenter la réflexion sur les rapports entre musique et politique de celles et ceux qui s’interrogent sur les postures engagées des musiciens. Il est cependant à souligner qu'en la matière, les artistes de sexe féminin attirent nettement moins l’attention publique. Malgré une large participation des femmes aux mouvements antinucléaires depuis la catastrophe de Fukushima, les chanteuses et musiciennes engagées semblent souvent être reléguées à un moindre rang par rapport à leurs confrères masculins. Cette méconnaissance de l’engagement des musiciennes et cette rupture entre la société civile et le monde musical populaire s’expliquent par — tout autant qu'ils sont liés à — la condition des femmes dans une société obstinément patriarcale. Si un tel état de choses ne soulève pas, du moins à l’heure actuelle, une opposition radicale chez les artistes, il se développe toutefois chez elles des stratégies, des arrangements qui leur assurent une place, une visibilité aux yeux de la société.Notre étude examine la situation contemporaine des artistes femmes et leur posture en tant que musiciennes engagées à travers l’analyse de leur expression artistique, en lien direct avec le contexte social et sociétal où celle-ci s'inscrit. Le cadre temporel choisi s'étend des années 1970, lorsque surgissent au Japon les mouvements de libération des femmes, à nos jours — et plus précisément à la période post-Fukushima, qui voit la participation des femmes aux mouvements sociaux du pays se faire plus saillante. Le cœur de nos recherches portera plus particulièrement sur la caractérisation des musiciennes engagées et de leurs postures dans le Japon des années 1990 à ce jour, révélant la possibilité pour les femmes japonaises, désormais, d'une pluralité de positionnement selon leur milieu social et économique d'appartenance
The figure of the Japanese pop singer reflects the reality of women’s status in Japan. Although Japan went through a crucial feminist movement, like France or the United States, which resulted in a slight improvement in women’s situation in society, the majority of women are still struggling with social norms that remain unrewarding and unfavorable to them. According to the Global Gender Gap Report the World Economic Forum published in 2017, Japan ranks 114th out of 144 countries in terms of gender equality. In this reality, one may notice that Japanese women, whatever their social milieu, are forced to comply with the notion of hyper-normed gender that is anchored in society. In the sphere of Japanese popular music, this social norm dominating female representation has repercussions for many female singers’ positions, either in naive immaturity relating to vulnerability or in a certain magnanimity based on motherhood, two notions not necessarily incongruent. Certain female idols are particularly representative of this phenomenon, whereas their counterparts in other musical styles internalize this social straitjacket. Since March 11, 2011, artists against nuclear increase in Japanese society have fueled reflection on the relationship between music and politics by those who question the postures of politically committed musicians. It should be pointed out, though, that female artists attract quite a bit less public attention than their male counterparts. Although women significantly participate in movements against nuclear programs since the Fukushima disaster, committed female singers and musicians often seem to be relegated to a lower rank than their male colleagues. This ignorance of female musicians’ commitment and the breaking-off between civil society and the popular musical scene can be explained by—as much as it is linked to—the condition of women in a stubbornly patriarchal society. If such a state of affairs does not, in the present time, raise radical opposition among artists, it nevertheless develops in them strategies and arrangements that ensure them a place and visibility in society.Our study examines the contemporary situation of female artists and their positions as committed musicians, by analyzing their artistic expression and considering the social and societal contexts in which they are implicated. The time frame ranges from the 1970s, when women's liberation movements emerged in Japan, to today—and more specifically to the post-Fukushima period, when women's participation in the country's social movements became more prominent. The core of our research focuses particularly on the characterization of committed female musicians and their postures in Japan from the 1990s to the present, revealing the possibility for Japanese women to have positioning plurality based on their social and economic backgrounds

Bien souvent, Pascal est pensé comme celui qui s'oppose à l'optimisme cartésien touchant la raison humaine. Et en effet, l’œuvre de Pascal fourmille d’exemples qui soulignent l’impuissance de cette capacité qui « voudrait juger de tout » (Laf. 110). Dans un fragment de son Entretien avec Monsieur de Sacy, Pascal se réjouissait alors de trouver dans Montaigne un compagnon d’armes pour avoir détrôné la raison : « je ne puis voir sans joie dans cet auteur la superbe raison si invinciblement froissée par ses propres armes » (Entretien, éd. Laf., p. 295). Mais si on applique cette expression non pas à la raison, mais à la volonté humaine ? Pascal ne se limite pas à critiquer uniquement la force de la raison : il attaque d’abord et avant tout l’idée d’un libre arbitre qui est naturellement incliné vers le vrai et le bien et qui constitue la source d’un juste rapport avec soi-même. La volonté ne constitue pas pour Pascal une force inaliénable, une puissance de se déterminer par soi et de se rendre maître de ses actions. Posant que « nous ne possédons que le mensonge » (Laf. 131) , que « nous n’avons qu’un instinct impuissant du bonheur » (Laf. 131) et que « nous voulons vivre dans l’idée des autres d’une vie imaginaire » (Laf. 806) , Pascal dénie que notre rapport au vrai, au bien et à nous-mêmes dépend de l'usage du libre arbitre.Reste à savoir quelle est l'interprétation de cette notion du 'moi' en rapport avec la volonté? Dans l’univers pascalien, l'idée d'un libre arbitre comme condition d’une découverte de soi est devenue illusoire : le moi trahit la présence d’une volonté désarmée, c’est-à-dire une volonté qui ne dispose plus des jugements fermes pour s’opposer aux passions violentes. En ce sens, la notion du moi dépasse une simple critique de l’ego cogito cartésien. Si Pascal se pose la question « qu’est-ce que le moi », il n’a pas seulement pour but de décentrer ou de désubstantialiser l’ego de la Meditatio Secunda . Au lieu de nous pencher sur une étude comparative entre l’ego cartésien et ce moi introuvable du fragment Laf. 688 (« Qu’est-ce que le moi ? »), nous avons conçu la notion du moi comme une triple critique du libre arbitre cartésien : le moi est étroitement lié au mensonge (le domaine du vrai), il est lié à la recherche inquiète du bonheur dans le divertissement (le domaine de la morale), et il exprime la tromperie de soi
Quite often, Pascal is presented as the main critic of Cartesian optimism about human reason. Indeed, Pascal's oeuvre is full of examples that underline the weakness of the capacity that "would like to judge everything" (Laf. 110). In a fragment of his Entretien avec Monsieur de Sacy, Pascal was delighted to find in Montaigne a brother in arms for having dethroned reason: "I cannot see without joy in this author the superb reason so invincibly offended by his own weapons" (Pascal, Entretien avec Monsieur de Sacy, éd. Laf., p. 295)But what if we apply this expression not to reason, but to the human will? Pascal does not only criticize the force of reason, he also attacks, first and foremost, the idea of a free will that is naturally inclined towards truth and goodness and that constitutes the source of a just relationship with oneself.For Pascal, the will is not an inalienable force, a power of self-determination and self-mastery. Posing that "we only possess lies" (Laf. 131), that "we only have an impotent instinct for happiness" (Laf. 131) and that "we want to live an imaginary live in the eyes of the others" (Laf. 806), Pascal denies that our relationship to truth, the good, and ourselves depends on the use of free will.How can the self (le moi) be interpreted in relation to the will? In the Pascalian universe, freedom as a condition for self-discovery has become illusory: the self betrays the presence of an unarmed will, that is, a will that no longer has firm judgments to oppose violent passions. In this sense, Pascal’s notion of the self goes beyond a simple criticism of the Cartesian ego cogito. If Pascal questions himself about the self, his aim is not only to decentralize or de-substantialize the ego from the Meditatio Secunda. Instead of focusing on a comparative study between the Cartesian ego and the Pascalian moi, I have interpreted the notion of the self in Pascal as a triple critique of the Cartesian free will: the self expresses our incapacity (1) to reach the truth (being related to the lie), (2) to achieve happiness (the self being closely linked to le divertissement) and (3) to relate to ourselves authentically

Les sculptures inachevées sont approchées par la tracéologie, par les gestes générateurs de traces et par les procédés d’intention caractérisant leur mise en œuvre. Les ambitions de l’étude se révèlent être de plusieurs ordres, tant sur le plan des techniques de sculpture que sur celui de l’histoire. Outre le fait de répondre à des lacunes de la littérature spécialisée, je souhaite contribuer à la mise en place d’une méthodologie nouvelle d’étude des ces œuvres, exploitable au-delà des limites de mon corpus. La méthode prouve son efficacité pour dégager les grandes tendances, en matière de geste et de processus, ayant valeur locale, régionale et chronologique. Les techniques de production sont caractérisées selon le type d’objets réalisés, la clientèle concerné et le lieu de production. Pour les périodes arborées, au-delà des quelques innovations constatées, et en l’état du corpus, les principes d’une évolution des techniques sculpturales ont pu être posés.

A inicios de la década del ’50, en el Club Universidad de Chile se comenzó a desarrollar un proyecto formativo de desarrollo integral con los niños y jóvenes de las divisiones inferiores. Los cadetes que integraron las series menores de la “U” en este periodo comenzaron rápidamente a ser protagonistas en los torneos infantiles y fueron paulatinamente escalando divisiones hasta llegar al cuadro de honor del equipo. Los resultados no tardaron en llegar en el fútbol profesional adulto. Con una base de jugadores formados en ese proyecto, Universidad de Chile consiguió los títulos de 1959, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1967 y 1969. A ese equipo se le llamó “Ballet Azul”. Aquí se da a conocer –a través de entrevistas a los protagonistas, revisión de bibliografía y prensa deportiva de la época– la historia de vida de quienes fueron los principales referentes de ese plantel que quedó en la historia del fútbol chileno.
