Streszczenie:
Culture takes an increasingly important position in the debate about the accessibility of public space for persons with disabilities. Many questions about how to include them in cultural life have emerged. The subject of the present article is a theoretical reflection on actions taken in this area by cultural institutions and non-governmental organizations. Basing on a comparative analysis of two events of such kind, and using the achievements of special pedagogy, I present two models of cultural accessibility for persons with disabilities: the separative and integrative model. I ponder on their advantages and disadvantages. I conclude by claiming that both can be useful in the process of making culture accessible for persons with disabilities, providing that the beneficiaries will be allowed to choose what kind of events they will attend. These considerations accord with the recently burgeoning field of accessibility studies, while disability studies serves as a broad theoretical frame.

Streszczenie:
The wide use of smartphones and later smartwatches equipped with a set of sensors such as location, motion, and direction blaze the trail for researchers to better recognize human activity. However, researches on using inertial or motion sensors (i.e., accelerometer, gyroscope) for human activity recognition (HAR) has intensified and reside a great confrontation to be faced. Lately, many deep learning methods have been suggested to improve the human activity classification and discrimination performance to reach an optimal accuracy. Therefore, this paper applies a Convolutional eXtreme Gradient Boosting (ConvXGBoost), which combines Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) represented by AlexNet to learn the input features automatically, followed by XGBoost decision tree used to predict the class label and thereof recognize the performed activity. Human activities are collected from sensors as time series data. Therefore, we suggested using one-dimensional AlexNet (1D AlexNet) model instead of 2D. The AlexNet model is compiled with two optimizers Adam and Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) which are applied consecutively. The suggested architecture was trained and evaluated on the “WISDM Smartphone and Smartwatch Activity and Biometric Dataset” that consists of raw data for eighteen activities recorded from phone and watch. The experiments revealed that using multi optimizer with a convolutional neural network improved the accuracy of recognition by 5%. Moreover, a proposed ConvXGBoost model outperformed the performance of other models works with the dataset as mentioned above with an overall accuracy of 98-99% depends on the device used.

Streszczenie:
The proliferation of international business activities drives organizations to expand their operations into new areas and propels human resource management (HRM) to ensure hiring and retaining competent personnel. Consequently, firms have been struggling to place qualified people in relevant roles and provide adequate training. This study utilized information technology to solve these challenges using a web-based system to interconnect the processes, receive the data from the job applicants via a web-based interface, and connect them with suitable employment. Firstly, the proposed model presented a hybrid technique of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) Cloud Web-based Human Resource Management System (CLWHRMS) by recognizing distinct features and forecasts the candidate’s potential under various classification tasks. For this, the study used a set of various software tools for web pages and database designing, including for the alteration of images. The hybrid model was executed using real-time data of 250 resumes, which were collected through an online database to validate the overall performance of the developed web-based system in terms of its accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. Though the specificity was the same with all the techniques, the results illustrated CNN-LSTM technique was 91% accurate and 90% sensitive compared to the traditional methods. This CNN-LSTM model automatically estimates the suitability of a job candidate and projects his/her workability contributing to Saudi Arabian firms to ease and enhance their recruitment process. Genome-scale metabolic models (GEMs) are valuable tools to study metabolism and provide a scaffold for the integrative analysis of omics data. Researchers have developed increasingly comprehensive human GEMs, but the disconnect among different model sources and versions impedes further progress. We therefore integrated and extensively curated the most recent human metabolic models to construct a consensus GEM, Human1. We demonstrated the versatility of Human1 through the generation and analysis of cell- and tissue-specific models using transcriptomic, proteomic, and kinetic data. We also present an accompanying web portal, Metabolic Atlas (https://www.metabolicatlas.org/), which facilitates further exploration and visualization of Human1 content. Human1 was created using a version-controlled, open-source model development framework to enable community-driven curation and refinement. This framework allows Human1 to be an evolving shared resource for future studies of human health and disease.

With aging, regular changes develop in metabolism, first of all, these are changes in lipid and carbohydrate metabolism. With accelerated aging, metabolic disorders are more expressed, which leads to the development of metabolic syndrome. The purpose of the work was to develop a method for calculating metabolic age using available clinical tests and to assess the rate of metabolic aging in people with metabolic syndrome. Materials and methods. The study involved 283 apparently healthy people aged 20 to 80 years and 82 people with metabolic syndrome. Anthropometric parameters and biochemical tests were measured for all people included in the study. The formula for calculating metabolic age was obtained by the method of stepwise multiple regression.Results. The calculation of the metabolic age in healthy people according to the formula we obtained showed that the average absolute error is 6.01 years. In 20.5% of people with metabolic syndrome, metabolic age exceeds chronological age by more than 10 years. At the same time, in the group of healthy people, the share of such people was only 4.2%. Conclusions. The method we have developed for assessing the rate of metabolic aging has a sufficiently high accuracy and can be used to assess the risk of developing metabolic syndrome and other agerelated pathology.

Streszczenie:
A unique software tool for conducting human factors analyses of complex human-machine systems has been developed at NASA Ames Research Center. Called the Man-Machine Integration Design and Analysis System (MIDAS), this simulation system contains models of human performance that can be used to evaluate candidate procedures, controls, and displays prior to more expensive and time consuming hardware simulators and human subject experiments. While this tool has been successfully applied to research issues in several domains, particularly in aeronautics, a desire to expand its functionality and its ease of use has led to the construction of a new object-oriented system. This new version of MIDAS contains a substantially modified human performance model, one that is aimed at being more consistent with empirical data on human behavior and more natural for designers to apply to the analyses of complex new designs. This paper offers a summary of this new human performance model, together with justifications for some of its main components, and indicates plans for its subsequent verification and validation.
