Streszczenie:
Purpose - This study aims to explore the factors that contribute to the international diffusion of green technology and further analyze the relationship between green technology diffusion and green trade. Previous studies and theoretical foundations suggest that economic, technological, and institutional environments are important factors influencing the diffusion of green technology among countries. For this study, trade openness, intellectual property protection, the level of development of information and communication technology (ICT), research and development (R&D) investment, environmental regulations, and environmental norms were used as the key factors in the diffusion of green technology. In addition, a comparative analysis of OECD and non-OECD countries is conducted. Design/methodology - Panel data were collected from 58 countries for the period 2007-2019. The empirical analysis consists of two parts, first exploring the drivers of green technology diffusion using the feasible generalized least squares (FGLS) method, and then analyzing the linkage between green technology diffusion and green trade using the two-stage least squares (2SLS) model. The demand for green technology is expected to vary among countries because of their different economic development levels and goals. A comparative analysis was conducted based on the classification of countries by the level of economic development. Findings - We found that the level of intellectual property protection, R&D investment and environmental norms contribute positively to the diffusion of green technology. However, there is a negative correlation between trade openness, environmental regulations and green technology diffusion. Green technology diffusion positively affects green trade. Moreover, the positive impact of green technology diffusion on green trade is more pronounced in non-OECD countries than in OECD countries. Originality/value - Previous studies have focused on technology transfer and green technology innovation at the firm level; however, research on green technology diffusion is insufficient. This study investigated the determinants of green technology diffusion at the national level. The study also explored the relationship between green technology diffusion and green trade. It helps to fill the gap in the literature on green technology diffusion and provides a reference for future studies. Additionally, our findings offer valuable guidance for government and corporate decision-makers in formulating strategies for the transfer of green technologies and sustainable development initiatives.

Streszczenie:
The aim is to study the influence of different types of postharvest green manure crops on soil fertility indicators. The research was supposed to study the effect of growing postharvest greens: winter wheat, spring barley, peas and winter oilseed rape on soil fertility: humus content, alkaline hydrolyzed nitrogen, mobile phosphorus, exchangeable potassium, soil reaction and soil acidity. Experimental studies were conducted during 2018–2021 in the conditions of FG "Zorya Vasylivka" Tyvriv district of Vinnytsia region on gray podzolic soils. In the option without growing greens, the humus content was 2.30%. Growing green manures contributed to the increase of humus content in the soil during crop rotation by 0.11–0.14%. The content of humus increased the most in the variant of growing green peas and winter rape, and the least — in spring barley. In general, the highest humus content was found in the variant of growing green peas and winter rape — 2.44%, and the lowest — in the cultivation of spring barley green — 2.41%. The alkaline nitrogen content in the option without growing greens was 118 mg/kg. When growing greens, the content of alkaline hydrolyzed nitrogen in the soil increased by 1.7–7.1%. The alkaline nitrogen content in the option without growing greens was 118 mg/kg. When growing greens, the content of alkaline hydrolyzed nitrogen in the soil increased by 1.7–7.1%. The content of alkaline hydrolyzed nitrogen in the soil increased the most after growing green peas, and the least after spring barley and winter rape. The highest content of alkaline hydrolyzed nitrogen was found in the soil where green peas were grown — 127 mg/kg, and the lowest — after growing green barley green manure and winter rape — 120 mg/kg. The concentration of mobile phosphorus in the control variant without growing greens was 622 mg/kg and was the highest among all studied variants where greens were grown. In the variants with the cultivation of green manure crops, the content of mobile phosphorus in the soil decreased by 16.4–18.0%. The smallest decrease in the content of mobile phosphorus in the soil, compared to the option without the use of green manure, was found in the variant of growing green wheat green manure, and the largest decrease — in the variant of growing green barley green manure. The soil of the variant without growing green manure contained exchangeable potassium 156 mg/kg. The cultivation of greens contributed to the increase in the content of exchangeable potassium in the soil by 27.4–32.2%. The largest increase in the content of potassium exchange in the soil was found in the variant of growing winter rape green manure, and the smallest — in the cultivation of winter wheat. The reaction of the soil pH on the option without growing greens was 6.05 pH. Variants with green manure cultivation were marked by a decrease in the reaction value of the soil solution by 0.2–0.5 pH. This indicates acidification of the soil when growing greens. The greatest acidification of the soil is observed after growing green rape green manure, and the least — after spring barley green manure. The hydrolytic acidity of the soil in the variant without green manure cultivation and in the cultivation of winter wheat green manure was the same and amounted to 1.60 mg-eq./100 g. In other variants of green manure cultivation, the hydrolytic acidity of the soil increased by 3.0–7.0%. The largest increase in hydrolytic acidity was found in the variant of growing winter rape green manure, where the actual hydrolytic acidity of the soil was the highest and amounted to 1.72 mg-eq./100 g.

Streszczenie:
Purpose - The study aims to explore the impact of green-credit policies on the green innovation of Chinese enterprises and analyzes the moderating effects of green credit constraints on industry enterprises, as well as commercial credit and financing constraints. Design/Methodology/Approach - In this paper, the theory of sustainable development, the Porter Hypothesis, and the theory of financing constraints are combined to analyze the impact of green credit policies on corporate green innovation using A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2021 as research samples. The Differences-in-Differences (DID) model is used. The DID model can eliminate the effects of time and individual fixed effects by comparing the differences between the treatment group and the control group, thereby providing a more accurate estimation of the policy’s impact. Findings - The research results show that green credit policies have played an important role in promoting corporate green innovation. Enterprises actively engaged in green innovation have achieved good development after implementing green-credit policies through structural adjustments and improving market competitiveness. Research Implications - The impact mechanism of green credit on the green innovation of industry enterprises can provide reference for the formulation and optimization of green financial policies, promote sustainable development of enterprises, realize the transformation and upgrading of the green economy, and have positive significance in promoting green governance and sustainable development.

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges the planet confronts today and is predicted to continue to face in the future. It is one of the greatest threats to humanity, seriously affecting human health, the natural environment, and security. This research aims to investigate the factors related to the perception of Greek citizens regarding climate change and green development and the obstacles that exist in Greece in the transition to enhanced green growth. For this reason, four cases related to communication and education, energy, actions to protect the environment, and each one’s responsibility were investigated. Data were collected through a survey (structured questionnaire) of 745 respondents in the regional unit of the Greek city of Larissa with an overall response rate of 69% and analyzed through a combination of factor and path analysis. The results show that communication, actions related to environmental protection, and energy-saving actions are the ones that have significant associations with the goal of green development.

Streszczenie:
Purpose - A society that cares about environmentally friendly products demands companies have a green competitive advantage through the application of the principles of Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of green organizational culture (GOC) on green innovation performance (GIP) and green competitive advantage (GCA). Design/Methodology/Approach - The study collected data from 314 manufacturing companies that are members of Proper (Environmental Performance Rating Program) on Java Island. Data collection was conducted through online and offline surveys using questionnaires that measured each research variable. Structural equation modelling with SEM PLS software were applied to analyze the data. Findings - The findings of this paper indicate that green organizational culture has a positive influence on green innovation performance. GOC also positively influences GCA, and GIP fully mediates the relationship between GOC and GCA. Research Implications - This research contributes to existing literature on GOC, GIP, and GCA, taking into account environmental issues, which have been empirically understudied, especially in manufacturing companies that are members of Proper. Furthermore, this research also explores green innovation performance as a mediator, which has been relatively unexplored in previous studies. However, this research has several limitations, including the dominance of blue-rated Proper participant companies in the sample, as most questionnaires were distributed during the blue certificate awarding moments. Additionally, the sample size per province was uneven, with the majority of participant companies located in the province of West Java.
