Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran example non-examples berbasis project citizen terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas X di MA Al-Islam Bantur. Metode quasi experiment adalah metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 44. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik clusterrandom dengan taraf kesalahan sebesar 5%. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah tes dan angket. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah uji hipotesis yang terdiri dari uji T dan uji F. Berdasarkan pengujian pada uji T diketahui nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan signifikan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa. Sedangkan pada uji F diketahui nilai Sig. sebesar 0,02 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran example non-examples berbasis project citizen terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran PPKn kelas X di MA Al-Islam Bantur.

This paper is a rhetorical study of a single verse of the Qur’an. Which is the verse of debts. It is the longest verse of the Qura'n. It contains many splendid rules and great values. that this verse is one of the most Comprehensive verses of the Qur’an. It makes the life of people more organised and ensures a good destiny in the hereafter. Allah exalted has emphasised good treatment which is the main aspect of Islam and its pillar. He overstated the recommendation to maintain halal money and the methods which need to be taken to keep it safe from being destroyed. Therefore, it includes forms of assertions. The paper shows that this verse contains more than twenty rhetorical methods as follows: 1. In intents and purposes for which the predicate is delivered, one example is included. 2. In how the speaker delivers the predicate to the addressee it included six examples. 3. In construction and its divisions it has more than ten examples. 4. It includes six examples of Commemoration. 5. It Includes nine examples of deletion. 6. It Includes one example of fronting. 7. It includes one example of masquerade 8. It Includes one example of restriction. 9. It Includes few examples of changing the topic. 10. It Includes one example of replacing the implicit with the explicit. 11. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using a learning model using the contextualbased Example non Examples method on students understanding of matemathics. The type of research used is Quantitative Research with a correlational research desighn, namely a study to determine the influence and level of influence between two or more variables. The sample in this study were 32 students, with data cllection techniques using observation instruments and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that there is an affect of using the example non examples learning model on students understanding of matemathic, this is evindenced by the average value of control class is 65 and experience class is 85. The conclusion of this study can show that the ability to understand matemathics of students who are taught by applying the example non examples learning model is better than just using the conventional / lecture method. The open sourcing of large amounts of image data promotes the development of deep learning techniques. Along with this comes the privacy risk of these image datasets being exploited by unauthorized third parties to train deep learning models for commercial or illegal purposes. To avoid the abuse of data, a poisoning-based technique, "unlearnable example", has been proposed to significantly degrade the generalization performance of models by adding imperceptible noise to the data. To further enhance its robustness against adversarial training, existing works leverage iterative adversarial training on both the defensive noise and the surrogate model. However, it still remains unknown whether the robustness of unlearnable examples primarily comes from the effect of enhancement in the surrogate model or the defensive noise. Observing that simply removing the adversarial perturbation on the training process of the defensive noise can improve the performance of robust unlearnable examples, we identify that solely the surrogate model's robustness contributes to the performance. Furthermore, we found a negative correlation exists between the robustness of defensive noise and the protection performance, indicating defensive noise's instability issue. Motivated by this, to further boost the robust unlearnable example, we introduce Stable Error-Minimizing noise (SEM), which trains the defensive noise against random perturbation instead of the time-consuming adversarial perturbation to improve the stability of defensive noise. Through comprehensive experiments, we demonstrate that SEM achieves a new state-of-the-art performance on CIFAR-10, CIFAR-100, and ImageNet Subset regarding both effectiveness and efficiency.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pemebelajaran example non examples berbantuan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas II. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 13 peserta didik kelas II Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Al-Muttaqien. Pemenilitan ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Desing. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen soal pilihan ganda yang diuji prasyarat analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis. Sebelum pengambilan data lembar instrumen soal terlebih dahulu di validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Untuk teknik analisis data yakni uji normalitas menggunakan uji kolmogorov-Smirnov dan shapiro-Wilk, untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan sample pired t-Test dengan softwear SPSS versi 20. Hasil uji hipotesis menujukkan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000 yang artinya kurang dari taraf signifikasi (α) 0,05 maka Ho ditolak. Artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan nilai posttest. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dilihat t hitung bernilai negatif yaitu -5,133 yang berarti rata-rata sebelum diberikan perlakuan lebih rendah daripada setelah diberikan perlakuan. Maka berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa “terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Example Non Example berbantuan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar PPKn kelas II Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Al-Muttaqien”.

With intentional feature perturbations to a deep learning model, the adversary generates an adversarial example to deceive the deep learning model. As an adversarial example has recently been considered in the most severe problem of deep learning technology, its defense methods have been actively studied. Such effective defense methods against adversarial examples are categorized into one of the three architectures: (1) model retraining architecture; (2) input transformation architecture; and (3) adversarial example detection architecture. Especially, defense methods using adversarial example detection architecture have been actively studied. This is because defense methods using adversarial example detection architecture do not make wrong decisions for the legitimate input data while others do. In this paper, we note that current defense methods using adversarial example detection architecture can classify the input data into only either a legitimate one or an adversarial one. That is, the current defense methods using adversarial example detection architecture can only detect the adversarial examples and cannot classify the input data into multiple classes of data, i.e., legitimate input data and various types of adversarial examples. To classify the input data into multiple classes of data while increasing the accuracy of the clustering model, we propose an advanced defense method using adversarial example detection architecture, which extracts the key features from the input data and feeds the extracted features into a clustering model. From the experimental results under various application datasets, we show that the proposed method can detect the adversarial examples while classifying the types of adversarial examples. We also show that the accuracy of the proposed method outperforms the accuracy of recent defense methods using adversarial example detection architecture.

AbstractDesign fixation is a factor that negatively influences the generation of novel design concepts (Jansson & Smith, 1991). When designers fixate, they tend to reproduce example features or features from their initial ideas. In order to mitigate design fixation, it is crucial to identify the factors that influence the extent of design fixation. This paper investigates two such factors: the modality of examples and the familiarity of designers with the example features. To investigate this, an experiment is conducted with mechanical engineering students who were asked to generate ideas to solve a peanut sheller design problem. The students generated ideas in five different experimental conditions: control, where no example was given; the first example given in a sketch form; the first example given as a nonfunctional prototype; a second example in sketch form; and the second example in a working prototype form. The first example was a nonfeasible solution, but it contained several features familiar to the participants. The second example was a feasible solution, but it contained less familiar features. In order to understand the extent of fixation triggered by the examples, three metrics were utilized to compare across the experimental conditions: the quantity of nonredundant ideas generated by the participants, the presence of example features in their solutions, and their fixation to the example's energy source. The results showed that in the case of the familiar example, the example modality did play an important role in the extent of design fixation. Across the examples, it was found that the first example containing several familiar features caused more fixation than the second one. Overall, this paper shows that the modality in which the example was communicated and the presence of familiar features in an example influenced the fixation caused by those examples.

Thus, the described documents on a plastic basis have a number of significant drawbacks. These factors contribute to the legalization of stolen and non-cleared vehicles, which in turn leads to costly losses and shortfalls in the budget of significant funds, as well as the use of fake driver’s licenses. To correct this situation, it is necessary to strengthen the protection of this type of documents by applying additional protection methods, for example: inscriptions or images that will be damaged when deleting personal data, leaving traces of erasing, applying personal data by laser engraving. Applying the document number after personalization by laser perforation or volumetric laser engraving, it is also necessary to establish effective control over consumables. These issues are most effectively resolved when implementing centralized personalization of this type of documents.

Pokok bahasan geometri yang berhubungan dengan visualisasi gambar seringkali mengakibatkan siswa tidak senang dalam menghadapi pelajaran matematika. Jika dihubungkan dengan kemampuan berpikir matematis maka kemampuan yang paling cocok untuk dikembangkan berdasarkan masalah tersebut adalah kemampuan berpikir geometri Van Hiele. Tahapan berpikir geometri Van Hiele terdiri dari tahap pengenalan, analisis, pengurutan dan deduksi. Untuk mengaplikasikannya peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran Example non Examples yang sejalan dengan berpikir geometri Van Hiele karena menggunakan media gambar. Tujuan penulisan skripsi ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktifitas guru dan siswa di kelas, kemampuan berpikir geometri Van Hiele siswa, dan sikap siswa. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMPN 8 Bandung kelas VIII-C semester 2 tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar yang berupa tes formatif dan post tes. Untuk memperoleh data mengenai sikap siswa digunakan angket skala sikap. Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa aktifitas guru dan siswa mengalami peningkatan untuk setiap siklus, kemampuan berpikir geometri Van Hiele siswa untuk setiap siklus pada sebagian besar siswa tergolong penguasaan tinggi dan lengkap, kemampuan berpikir geometri Van Hiele siswa diseluruh siklus pada sebagian besar siswa tergolong penguasaan tinggi dan lengkap. Dan hampir seluruh siswa bersikap positif terhadap pelajaran matematika, pembelajaran Example non Examples, dan soalsoal geometri Van Hiele. Terlihat dari rata-rata skor sikap siswa untuk setiap indikator selalu lebih besar dari pada skor netral siswa.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajara matematika siswa dengan mengunakan model pembelajaran example non example dan model pembelajaran ekspositori di SMP Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelas sampel 1 yang mengunakan model pemebalajan example non exampel dan Kelas VII H sebagai kelas sampel 2 dengan mengunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan mengunakan instrument tes. Untuk analisis data mengunakan uji-t dengan data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Nilai rata-rata kelas sampel 1 adalah 64,92 dan nialai rata-rata kelas sampel 2 yaitu 48,88. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata siswa yang diajar mengunakan Model Pembelajaran Exampel Non Exampel lebih tinggi dari pada rata-rata nilai siswa yang mengunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh dengan mengunakan bantuan SPSS dengan yaitu Sig. (p-value) = 0,000 < taraf signifikan () = 0.05 maka H0 ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa antara siswa yang mengunakan model pembelajaran example non example di kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu.Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, Model Pembelajaran Example Non Example. AbstractThis study aimed to determine whether there was a influence in the average learning outcomes of mathematics students using the model example non example in SMP Negeri 7 Bengkulu City. The population in this study was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu. The sample of this research was the students of class VII A as a sample class 1 using model example of non exampel and Class VII H as sample 2 class by using expository learning model. Technique of collecting data was test instrument. For data analysis, used t-test with normal and homogeneous distributed data. The mean grade of sample 1 was 64.92 and the mean of sample 2 was 48.88. Based on the result of the research, it was found that the average of students who were taught using Learning Model Exampel Non Exampel was higher than the average of the students who used the expository learning model. Hypothesis test results had obtained by using SPSS assistance with the Sig. (p-value) = 0,000 < significant level (?) = 0.05 then H0 was rejected. Threfore, it can be concluded that there were differences in the average results of student learning mathematics influence students using non example example model in class VII SMP Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu. Salah satu penyebab permasalahan tersebut adalah ketidaksesuaian model yang digunakan guru dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga perlu diterapkan model yang sesuai untuk mengatasi masalah yang ditemukan. Salah satu model yang sesuai untuk mengatasi masalah yang ditemukan yaitu model Exampel Non Exampel. Penelitian ini berujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dan signifikan penggunaan model Exampen Non Exampel terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran fisika khususnya pada materi getaran, gelombang dan bunyi di kelas VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Mts) Asas Islamiyah Kota Jambi Tahun 2019/2020. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Cluster Random Sampling, sehingga didapatkan sampel yaitu VIII A dan VIIIB. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes hasil belajar fisika. Analisis hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji “t” dan untuk melihat antara dua variabel diskrit menggunakan korelasi phi. Berdasarkan hasil uji “t” menunjukan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh hasil uji t, dengan nilai 2,01<3,135>2,68 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan 1%. Hasil uji korelasi phi dengan nilai 0,273<0,431>0,23 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan 1%. Hasil korelasi phi menunjukkan adanya pengaruh dan signifikansi penggunaan model Exampel Non Example.

Adversarial examples are input examples that are specifically crafted to deceive machine learning classifiers. State-of-the-art adversarial example detection methods characterize an input example as adversarial either by quantifying the magnitude of feature variations under multiple perturbations or by measuring its distance from estimated benign example distribution. Instead of using such metrics, the proposed method is based on the observation that the directions of adversarial gradients when crafting (new) adversarial examples play a key role in characterizing the adversarial space. Compared to detection methods that use multiple perturbations, the proposed method is efficient as it only applies a single random perturbation on the input example. Experiments conducted on two different databases, CIFAR-10 and ImageNet, show that the proposed detection method achieves, respectively, 97.9% and 98.6% AUC-ROC (on average) on five different adversarial attacks, and outperforms multiple state-of-the-art detection methods. Results demonstrate the effectiveness of using adversarial gradient directions for adversarial example detection.

This article examines whether studying correct versus incorrect examples produces differential learning. A prediction that follows from behaviourism is that learning should be best from studying correct examples. A contrasting prediction is that incorrect examples can highlight a concept’s properties that are missing in the example, and thereby enable concept learning. We test these ideas across two experiments, wherein subjects were shown hypothetical study scenarios and were asked to determine whether each was a true experiment. In Experiment 1, some subjects were only presented correct examples, some were only presented incorrect examples, and others were presented both. In addition, example type was crossed with feedback type: Some subjects were given explanatory feedback and some were not given any feedback; a control condition was also included, wherein subjects were not shown any study scenarios. All subjects completed a posttest involving novel scenarios; some questions asked subjects to indicate whether they were true experiments (classification questions), and some asked them to specify what was lacking in the design or to indicate how it could be fixed (application questions). Experiment 2 used a similar design, but compared explanatory feedback with corrective feedback. In both experiments, as long as some form of feedback was provided, subjects in the mixed example condition achieved the best classification performance. Furthermore, subjects in the incorrect and mixed example conditions performed best on application questions, particularly when explanatory feedback was provided. These findings offer insights into the mechanisms that might underlie learning from incorrect examples.

One of the internal rules of the example-based translation is the dependence of the translation quality on the length and representation of translation examples. These are managed by an example database, for which the linguist should answer two questions when s/he intends to design it: (1) what is the representation chosen for the translation example? and (2) what are the possibilities to generalize the translation examples stored in the database? In this paper my intent is to propose two answers, in fact – a synergetical research direction for Romanian, English and French language. I will consider the representation of the translation examples as depedency trees and I will generalize them by means of the semantic information described by Levin’s verb classes.

Abstract Prior to customizing for themselves, consumers often encounter products customized by other people within their social network. Our research suggests that when encountering a custom-made example of an identity-related product created by an identified social other, consumers infer this social other was motivated to express uniqueness. After making this inference, consumers are also motivated to express uniqueness, particularly when the example was created by a close versus distant social other. Consumers express uniqueness through their own customization choices, choosing fewer options shown in the example or choosing fewer best-selling options. Consumers sometimes even pay a monetary cost or sacrifice preferred choices in order to make their own product unique. Further, this effect dissipates when motivations other than expressing uniqueness are inferred about a social other (e.g., for functionally related products). Across eight studies that span different product contexts, involve real choices, and isolate the underlying theoretical mechanism (i.e., motivation to express uniqueness), our research documents the unique role of custom-made examples, demonstrates the importance of social distance for customization choices, and identifies a novel path explaining when and why individuals express uniqueness.

The examples considered in this paper generalize the classical harmonic model Zt = Acos(ω0t + ψ) + ξt, for t ∊ Z. Two examples are developed at length. In the first one, the spectral measure is discrete and in the second it is continuous. In the second example, the time series is obtained from a chaotic map. These two examples exhibit the extremal cases of different possibilities for the spectral measure of time series and they are both associated with ergodic deterministic transformations with noise. We present a method for obtaining explicitly the spectral density function (second example) and the autocorrelation coefficients (first example). In the first example the rotation number plays an important role. We also consider large deviation properties of the estimated parameters of the model.

Partially supervised text classification has received great research attention since it only uses positive and unlabeled examples as training data. This problem can be solved by automatically labeling some negative (and more positive) examples from unlabeled examples before training a text classifier. But it is difficult to guarantee both high quality and quantity of the new labeled examples. In this paper, a multi-level example based learning method for partially supervised text classification is proposed, which can make full use of all unlabeled examples. A heuristic method is proposed to assign possible labels to unlabeled examples and partition them into multiple levels according to their labeling confidence. A text classifier is trained on these multi-level examples using weighted support vector machines. Experiments show that the multi-level example based learning method is effective for partially supervised text classification, and outperforms the existing popular methods such as Biased-SVM, ROC-SVM, S-EM and WL.

In many real world applications, the number of examples to learn from is plentiful, but we can only obtain limited information on each individual example. We study the possibilities of efficient, provably correct, large-scale learning in such settings. The main theme we would like to establish is that large amounts of examples can compensate for the lack of full information on each individual example. The type of partial information we consider can be due to inherent noise or from constraints on the type of interaction with the data source. In particular, we describe and analyze algorithms for budgeted learning, in which the learner can only view a few attributes of each training example, and algorithms for learning kernel-based predictors, when individual examples are corrupted by random noise.

Machine learning in real-world high-skew domains is difficult, because traditional strategies for crowdsourcing labeled training examples are ineffective at locating the scarce minority-class examples. For example, both random sampling and traditional active learning (which reduces to random sampling when just starting) will most likely recover very few minority-class examples. To bootstrap the machine learning process, researchers have proposed tasking the crowd with finding or generating minority-class examples, but such strategies have their weaknesses as well. They are unnecessarily expensive in well-balanced domains, and they often yield samples from a biased distribution that is unrepresentative of the one being learned.This paper extends the traditional active learning framework by investigating the problem of intelligently switching between various crowdsourcing strategies for obtaining labeled training examples in order to optimally train a classifier. We start by analyzing several such strategies (e.g., annotate an example, generate a minority-class example, etc.), and then develop a novel, skew-robust algorithm, called MB-CB, for the control problem. Experiments show that our method outperforms state-of-the-art GL-Hybrid by up to 14.3 points in F1 AUC, across various domains and class-frequency settings.

The purpose of writing this article is to describe the effect of the Example Non Examples learning model on student learning outcomes on the basic competency of office layout in class X OTKP SMK Pawiyatan Surabaya. The research sample of Class X OTKP 3 (experimental class) with Example Non Example method and Class X OTKP 2 (control class) is subject to conventional learning models, with the number of students in each class of 30 students. This type of research is a literature study. The results showed that the office spatial learning materials have used learning models that prioritize group learning activities to study the material. Examples of learning are not examples that can make students become more understanding of the material being studied than students who successfully analyze the images presented. In addition, non-example model examples can make students find themselves understanding the results of the analysis conducted, make the classroom learning process in which students become active participants rather than passive observers, and are responsible for their learning. based on the research that has been done, the suggestion that can be conveyed is to use the Cooperative learning model Project Based Learning type is expected to provide one of the variations of learning models on the basic competencies of office layout.

Penelitian yang dilakukan secara quasi eksperimen, populasi Penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Tapung Hulu. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara cluster random sampling yaitu kelas X2 dan X1 . Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes Hasil Belajar yang telah valid dan realibel.. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan Uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran Kooperatif Example Non Examples berbantuan laboratorium hal ini dapat dilihat hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 41,85 menjadi 81,68. Hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Examples Non Examples berbantuan laboratorium lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.
