Pełny tekst źródłaThe objective of this thesis was to deepen the understanding of the links between emotional experience and food intake, by examining the role of two mechanisms: emotional eating (EE) and food addiction (FA). First, this work allowed to overcome a methodological barrier regarding the measurement of EE by validating the French version of the Emotional Appetite Questionnaire. This instrument provides an exhaustive assessment of EE, taking into account the inter-individual and inter-emotional variability specific to this concept. Second, our work, which was carried out in large sample of college students, allowed 1) to characterize different profiles of emotional eaters; 2) to demonstrate that EE and FA mediate the association between negative affectivity and excessive weight or obesity; 3) to demonstrate that EE is a key factor in the severity of clinical symptoms of FA. The last part of this work was devoted to studying the impact of EE and FA in a clinical population of patients with cardiovascular diseases. The preliminary results of this study highlighted the complexity of the links between emotional distress, disordered eating and the quality of food intake in these patients. In conclusion, this thesis sheds light on the complex interplay between emotions and food intake, and provides a better identification of the factors that can influence these links. Such knowledge is crucial in order to improve prevention policies and foster the development of more targeted and effective interventions

Pełny tekst źródłaIt has been about twenty years that the addiction concept has been elaborated by some psychiatrists and neuroscientists in order to define dependence phenomena in a new way (by associating illicit drugs with alcohol and tobacco). Then it has been used for the first time in 1999 in a public policy in France, i.e. the three-year plan of the Mission Interministérielle de Lutte contre la Drogue et la Toxicomanie (MILDT).The construction process of the “addiction” public problem constitutes this thesis subject. In which way the reconfiguration of some spaces of the medical and political fields is connected to the institutionalization of the addictological paradigm and how this one has led to transform contemporary drug policies? The “addiction” public problem emerged thanks to the political success of a small group of actors who transposed a medical concept into the language of public policy. In the continuation of harm reduction policies, addictions reshape the regulation model of drug use by promoting their sanitarization rather than their criminalization. Through a political and historical sociology of public policy, this thesis thus traces the genesis of French addictology and drug policies until the MILDT’s three-year plan of 1999

Pełny tekst źródłaABSTRACT: Problem: Drug abusers often have insecure attachments and a low self-concept which can be seen as a risk factor in the genesis and relapse of addiction. Goal: This study wants to understand the relationship between attachment and self-concept and their evolution during treatment of drug-addicts. Method: Correlational cross study, that used a 65 people sample, gathered in 3 different therapeutic communities ( one in the South margin of Tagus river, another in Lisbon and another in Lisbon surroundings). It was applied the Adult Attachment Scale, by Canavarro, M C., Dias, P., Lima, V., 2006, and the Clinical Inventory of Self-Concept, by Serra, A. V., 1985. These variables do not show direct significant relation with the number of treatment days in the therapeutic communities, but the direct relation between these variables becomes stronger with more treatment days.

With the continuous deepening of the database and various information systems, a large amount of data accumulated and increased every year. Nowadays, many kinds of data have published on the government information open platform, and peopole can use and research these data. Data mining is a research method, which integrates many areaes including database, machine learning, statistics, artificial intelligence and so on. Data mining can use the information and pattern hided within the data to the applications of classification, prediction, clustering and association. The study proposes a Classification method based on Formal Concept Analysis (CFCA), and applies this method to classify survey data of internet and smartphone. In order to evaluate CFCA, the correct rate of classification is used, and it compared with other methods such as J48, CVR and NB. The result of experiments shows: the correct rate of classification by CFCA is between 77.27% and 97.52% for survey data of internet addiction, and is between 93.94% and 95.89% for survey data of smartphone addiction. The correct rate of classification by the other methods is between 73.35% and 97.11% for survey data of internet addiction, and is between 84.20% and 95.89% for survey data of smartphone addiction. Compared with the other methods by experiments and datasets, CVR is ranked first, CFCA is ranked second, J48 and NB are ranked third or fourth. Despite CFCA is second, CFCA is better than CVR in the experiment of simplified attribute values.

This research intends to research into the correlation between online game addiction tendency and psychological needs, self-concept and peer connections for the teenagers. Not only did we investigate the present status of junior high school students using network and playing online games, we also examined four hypotheses: significant positive correlation between the online psychological needs scale of junior high school students and the online game addiction, negative correlation between the scores got from self-concepts scale of junior high school students and online game addiction tendency, significant negative correlation between the peer relationships of junior high school students and online game addiction, and the online game addiction tendency predictability through the mentioned three factors. Therefore, this research focuses on 7th~9th grade students from three junior high schools of Taipei City and New Taipei City, 9 classes in total, to get statistics of basic data, conduct test through scale of online game addiction tendency, online psychological needs scale for junior high school students, scale of self-concept, scale of peer relationships and other questionnaires. We also investigated the network using status of 281 effective samples in forms of crude code, percentage, chi-square statistics, including online game playing status of 215 junior high school students. The four hypotheses are examined one by one through the methods of Pearson Correlation and Step-wise Regression Analysis. The results are as follows: I. Online game is very popular among junior high school students, and about 76% of them play online games. Wherein, male students spend 5 hours or more online, 4 hours or more of which they play online games. Students who play four types or more online games gets significant tendency to become online game addicts. II. Positive correlation is significant between the online game addiction tendency and the overall and various online psychological needs of junior high school students. Therefore, theory of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is applicable to the explanation of online game addiction tendency among junior high school students. III. Correlation between self-concept and online game addiction tendency among junior high school students is significantly negative. IV. Correlation between peer relationships and online game addiction tendency is significantly negative. Wherein, the dimensions such as friendship and imitation have significant negative correlation with online game addiction tendency; yet social anxiety of the peer relationships have significant positive correlation with online game addiction tendency. V. Psychological needs, self-concept and peer relations of junior high school students can help to predict online game addiction tendency. Wherein, the total score of online psychological needs scale of junior high school student is the most effective to predict online game addiction tendency of junior high school students. Finally, the researchers make conclusions, discussions and suggestions based on the results, to serve as reference for the future counseling practice and academic research, and to actually take care of the junior high school students with online game addiction tendency.

The purpose of this study is to explore the current situation of junior high school students’ perceived parenting style, Internet addiction and self-concept and most importantly, the relationships among them. The methodology of this study is mainly a questionnaire survey. The questionnaires were constructed by three subscales: parenting style, Internet addiction and self-concept. The questionnaires were sent to 800 teachers and there were totally 752 questionnaires collected. The valid respondent rate was 94.0%. The major findings are as the following: 1. The junior high school students perceive that demand dimension of parenting style is higher than response dimension. Besides, Mother’s demand and response dimensions are higher than Father’s. The highest types of Father’s style and Mother’s style are both authoritative. 2. The junior high school students scored below average on Internet addiction. 3. The junior high school students scored over average on self-concept. 4. There were significant differences in Father’s style in terms of familial structure and family social-economic status. 5. There were significant differences in Mother’s style in terms of familial structure. 6. There were significant differences in Internet addiction in terms of gender, familial structure and family social-economic status. 7. There were significant differences in self-concept in terms of gender and familial structure. 8. There were significant differences in Internet addiction in terms of parenting style. 9. There were significant differences in self-concept in terms of parenting style. 10. There were negative correlations between Internet addiction and self-concept. 11. Among all the aspects of perceived parenting style and Internet addiction, “authoritative types vs. different kinds of parenting style group” effected self-concept the most. Finally, according to the findings above, suggestions were given to the educational administrations, schools, teachers and future research. 1. To educational administrations Pay attention to the problems of Internet addiction, enhance the educational function of single paernt family, and set up life-long channels 2.
