Les messages vocaux de WhatsApp n’ont pas les mêmes modalités d’utilisation que les messages écrits de cette application. Dès lors ce travail s’interroge sur les traits distinctifs des messages vocaux et tente de définir s’ils correspondent à un nouveau genre ou à une évolution d’un genre digital préexistant. Pour ce faire, six conversations WhatsApp ont été transcrites et examinées. L’analyse de ces messages met au jour les constantes suivantes : une exacerbation de l’aspect phatique des messages, un sentiment de présence connectée et une place importante accordée à la méta-réflexivité. Ces caractéristiques sont visiblement liées au fait que la communication médiée par les messages vocaux WhatsApp représente un genre hybride entre l’oral et l’écrit.

Cet article s’intéresse à l’acquisition du français par les locuteurs russes et polonais servant à la Légion étrangère. Le contexte d’acquisition du français est tout à fait particulier dans ce corps d’armée : plurilinguisme et communication exolingue produisent un input singulier, transformant la langue française en un hybride linguistique à définir, produit de jargon militaire, légionnaire, de mots empruntés aux langues fortement représentées à la Légion et de tournures stéréotypées dont les soldats ne connaissent pas la signification mot à mot. L’étude en cours tend à prouver l’existence d’un véritable légiolecte, permettant l’intercompréhension au sein des régiments, mais confrontant les recrues à de grandes difficultés de communication avec le monde civil. Dans l’étude d’énoncés de légionnaires, nous distinguerons les marques transcodiques de la langue maternelle des recrues des formes hybrides caractérisant le langage de la Légion.

Le nombre d’études s’intéressant aux éventuels bénéfices de la robotique pour les enfants présentant un trouble du spectre autistique ( tsa ) sont en forte augmentation depuis quelques années. Néanmoins, bien qu’intéressantes, ces études présentent souvent des biais méthodologiques et des partis pris théoriques qui rendent leurs conclusions difficilement généralisables. Dans notre étude, basée sur une approche longitudinale et menée en situation écologique, nous avons suivi l’évolution des comportements communicationnels d’enfants présentant un tsa lors de sessions d’interaction avec un robot hybride. Les résultats tendent à montrer que l’usage de ce robot hybride peut, dans le contexte spécifique auquel nous nous sommes intéressés, permettre un accroissement de certaines compétences communicationnelles liées à l’attention conjointe. Ces résultats, encourageants, méritent d’être approfondis par des études complémentaires.

L’offre de MOOC se caractérise aujourd’hui par une diversité de dispositifs qui se développent dans l’ensemble des espaces de formation (ex. écoles, entreprises, établissements d’enseignement supérieur, etc.). Cet article s’intéresse à l’un de ces dispositifs, récemment introduits dans le milieu universitaire : le MOOC hybride intégré dans une formation en présentiel. A partir d’une analyse de l’expérience des étudiants, nous cherchons à comprendre à la fois leurs motivations et leurs usages des ressources pédagogiques et des outils de communication (synchrones et asynchrones) mis à leur disposition. Il ressort, dans ce contexte particulier, que les étudiants qui ont réussi se distinguent de ceux qui ont échoué, par leurs motivations intrinsèques et extrinsèques et leurs utilisations des vidéos du live. Des pistes d’amélioration sont proposées en vue d’optimiser l’intégration d’un MOOC hybride dans un cursus académique.

Dans le processus d’acquisition d’une langue nouvelle, étrangère, l’individu met en forme sonore et perçoit la parole produite dans cette langue selon les «règles» d’un système individuel intermédiaire ou, autrement dit, transitoire. Il construit sa parole dans cette langue seconde en utilisant dans une plus ou moins grande mesure le «matériel» du système de langue première (S1) et les habitudes auditives-articulatoires formées sur cette base. Mais pas seulement. La recherche des équivalents physiques des unités fonctionnelles de la langue seconde, qui ne trouvent pas de correspondances dans le système premier, conduit à ce que dans la parole d’allophones surviennent des réalisations inconnues tant du système premier que du système second (S2). Par ailleurs, le degré de prévalence et la fréquence des réalisations correspondant au système et à la norme de la langue donnée varient et sont déterminées par le niveau de maîtrise de celle-ci. En résultat, le système phonétique de l’individu possède un caractère hybride, ce qui se manifeste aussi bien dans la composition des unités que dans leurs relations paradigmatiques et syntagmatiques.

Cet article présente les résultats d’une recherche concernant l’interaction à travers des échanges par courrier électronique (CÉ). On tente de démontrer que la correspondance électronique, une nouvelle forme de communication hybride, constituée par des lettres dialogales, présent les caractéristiques d’une interaction. Suivant les principes de la linguistique interactionnelle par le biais de l’analyse conversationnelle, on arrive à retrouver dans ces échanges le fonctionnement des influences mutuelles permettant la construction en commun d’un texte dialogué, en différé et sous forme écrite, mais aussi à repérer les phénomènes susceptibles de mener l’étudiant à s’approprier la langue étrangère : en l'occurrence le français.

Cet article synthétise les propos échangés lors d’un séminaire, tenu en décembre 2010, sur les résultats d’un rapport de recherche. La recherche, menée de 2007 à 2010, portait sur « le développement des industries de la culture, de l’information et de la communication en milieu autochtone dans le contexte des mutations de ces industries à l’échelle internationale ». Participaient au séminaire des collaborateurs au projet de recherche ainsi que d’autres personnes intéressées par les industries culturelles autochtones. Les constats suivants ont émergé des discussions : les industries culturelles autochtones ne suivent pas toutes le même parcours en termes d’industrialisation, et celle-ci a des limites quand vient le temps de répondre aux défis multiples adressés aux entreprises autochtones.

Des procédés d’intercompréhension déployés par des interactants en communication interlingue (français-espagnol) par clavardage sont analysés à partir des constats et des conclusions exposés dans les recherches en interlinguisme et en acquisition des langues. L’analyse porte sur un échantillon de 104 épisodes d’interaction entre 10 francophones et 10 hispanophones, répartis en dyades, lors d’une expérimentation réalisée de juin à décembre 2004, dans les laboratoires de l’Université du Québec à Montréal et à distance, entre Montréal et Mexico. Les résultats montrent que les procédés s’apparentent à ceux d’interactions en présentiel, mais sont aussi plus diversifiés grâce au caractère hybride du média et aux possibilités qu’il offre.

Cet article s’intéresse à une campagne de communication hybride qui fait la promotion du « volet parité » la politique « diversité » de l’entreprise Accenture intitulée Equals. Son objectif, à la fois institutionnel et promotionnel, est d’attirer les talents en montrant l’entreprise énonciatrice comme un espace de travail où il fait bon travailler. Diffusés dans l’espace public comme en interne de l’organisation, les affiches et leurs messages sont les objets analysés ici. Notre analyse critique du discours de campagne montre la manière dont il reproduit une bicatégorisation genrée normative en soulignant que l’engagement égalitariste déclaré est conditionné à une égalité préalable. Il souligne que les efforts consentis par l’entreprise en vue d’un traitement plus égalitaire sont arrimés à la démonstration des compétences et des performances professionnelles des femmes. Cette posture discursive renvoie implicitement au fait que celles-ci sont elles-mêmes responsables des phénomènes inégalitaires qu’elles subissent dans le monde du travail. Les inégalités sources de discriminations ne sont ici ni montrées ni prises en compte. Ce discours de campagne qui présente l’implication de l’entreprise pour davantage d’égalité constitue dès lors, paradoxalement, un discours à caractère euphémique et aux effets dépolitisants.

Lors du premier confinement de mars 2020 et de la paralysie du spectacle vivant qui en a résulté, la Comédie-Française, institution emblématique du patrimoine théâtral français, s’est particulièrement illustrée par sa capacité à innover et à maintenir une offre culturelle originale, couronnée d’un succès qui a dépassé ses espérances. S’appuyant sur l’analyse sémio-discursive d’un corpus constitué d’un ensemble de discours produits par la Comédie-Française sur différents supports destinés à assurer la promotion de l’opération « La Comédie continue ! », cet article vise à décrire et qualifier le dispositif communicationnel et médiatique hybride mis en place, et à explorer les stratégies de communication institutionnelle mises en oeuvre dans cette situation inédite, tout en interrogeant ce dispositif sous l’angle de la médiation auprès des publics.

Résumé Le roman de Faïza Guène, Les gens du Balto, nous plonge dans un texte émaillé d’argot, de verlan, de structures propres à l’oral, d’expressions métaphoriques, parfois aussi de termes étrangers. Les personnages s’expriment dans une langue éloignée des normes de l’écrit. Une forme d’écriture digne du documentaire avec ses voix propres, une langue hybride qui relève d’un sociolecte reproduisant le parler de la banlieue parisienne. Ce choix stylistique constitue un véritable défi pour le traducteur. Après avoir présenté brièvement l’auteure et le roman, nous analyserons les spécificités linguistiques du récit à partir d’un corpus représentatif pour ensuite examiner les stratégies adoptées par la traductrice.

Sommaire Les enseignants des langues étrangères utilisaient très longtemps des méthodes traditionnelles comme celle de grammaire-traduction. Le travail des professeurs et des andragogues est plus complexe aujourd’hui qu’auparavant. Les trois dernières décennies ont vu de nombreux changements : évolution technologique, pluridisciplinarité des sciences, globalisation. L’enseignement actuel des langues étrangères s’appuie sur des sciences aussi diverses que la linguistique, la psychologie, l’informatique, les sciences de communication en se basant sur le Cadre européen commun de référence pour les langues3 dont le but est l’identification et la définition des facettes théoriques de l’apprentissage d’une langue. Cet article analyse l’enseignement du français aux douaniers lituaniens en mettant l’accent sur des approches et des techniques actives, en particulier sur l’approche hybride. Il analyse les programmes proposés par le Centre de la formation des douaniers de Vilnius en se concentrant sur une étude plus détaillée du programme de l’apprentissage hybride en français pour lequel le français de spécialité est une priorité. Cette approche appliquée à l’enseignement des langues étrangères, se révèle séduisante pour les adultes car elle facilite l’intégration à la vie professionnelle. Elle participe également à la réalisation de la politique de multilinguisme grâce à la coopération entre les enseignants des langues étrangères et les apprenants. Plus que d’autres, elle favorise également les synergies interdisciplinaires grâce à l’utilisation des nouvelles technologies et des documents authentiques dans des domaines très variés : de la vérification douanière des véhicules aux questions d’éthique des douanes. Cet article présente enfin 5 composantes de l’acquisition lexicale qui accompagnent la formation professionnelle des douaniers en français : linguistique, discursive, référentielle, socioculturelle et stratégique.

AbstrakLatar belakang dan Urgensi dalam penelitian ini adalah tingkat Communication And Collaboration siswa SD di perkotaan khususnya di Kabupaten Sidoarjo masih terbilang minim, yaitu hanya sebesar 18-22 % dari rata-rata siswa di dalam kelas yang mampu berfikir kritis saat PBM berlangsung hasil responden guru yang dilakukan oleh peneliti via google form angket 2021, hal ini terjadi karena rendahnya keterampilan siswa dalam hal bertanya, menanggapi, mempresentasikan serta berdialog sesama siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran serta masih sulit nya dalam menyampaikan pendapat atau opsi jawaban kepada guru pada saat pembelajaran maupun saat diskusi dan belum mampu memahami konsep abstrak pada pembelajaran Tematik (data hasil penelitian Pandu Hermawan Tahun 2018). Sedangkan kedepan tantangan di Era Merdeka Belajar mewajibkan setiap individu memiliki keterampilan berfikir kritis dalam berbagai bidang yang multidisipliner. Dilapangan ditemukan kembali sebuah data dari permasalahan pada sisi rendahnya ketrampilan proses Communication And Collaboration siswa kelas IV SDN Wonosari yaitu sebesar 68% siswa di kelas IV mengalami kesulitan dalam proses berfikir kritis saat PBM dari total 26 siswa didalam kelas, data ini berdasarkan hasil observasi peneliti yang dilakukan pada tanggal 6 Desember 2021 . Kesimpulan dari  penelitian ini adalah adanya pengembangan Media Smart Board berbasis Interactive Hybrid Classroom dapat untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan Communication And Collaboration siswa SD .Â

Dans le vaste débat entourant la construction d'une culture québécoise plus ou moins homogène, la région du nord-ouest (Abitibi-Témiscamingue) présente des aspects originaux. Non pas qu'il faille douter de son appartenance au grand tout québécois mais plutôt qu'on doive préciser ses façons particulières de s'y rattacher. L'Abitibi-Témiscamingue offre à la période pionnière un visage hybride, métissé, caractérisé par sa proximité avec l'Ontario anglais et la diversité ethnique de ses populations fondatrices. Même si des liens multiples la rattachent au Québec méridional, elle éprouve dès le début des difficultés de communication avec le reste du Québec. Cette distance et le sentiment d'éloignement qui caractérise encore l'imaginaire témiscabitibien n'est donc pas que symbolique, il trouve son origine dans une lente évolution du rattachement physique au reste du Québec.

Macron accuse la Russie d’être “l’une des dernières puissances impériales coloniales”». It is attempted to illustrate that his linguistic identity is diverse and could be designated by excessive metaphorical modeling, literature-centricity straightforwardness and picturesque descriptive words. While studying the metaphorical meanings of the lexical units under consideration the method of contextual analysis, component analysis method and the descriptive method are being used. The aim of the research is to represent the specifics of E. Macron’s verbal behavior by the example of anti-russian declamations in mass media. The relevance of the study is determined be citing and analyzing the latest interventions and declarations of the acting French president that illustrate contemporary political framework. The paper contains a large number of examples. The article may be of interest to experts in the field of French political discourse. The practical significance of the study consists in the possibility of inclusion of the examples of analysis of E. Macron’s speeches in didactic materials while designing special courses in the language of the French political communication for training students of such Master’s Degree programs as “International Relations”, “International Strategic Communication”, “Global Politics”, and “Information Support of State Interests”.

Abstract In this conceptual paper, we discuss the concept of hospital of the future (HoF) and the requirements for its wireless connectivity. The HoF will be mostly wireless, connecting patients, healthcare professionals, sensors, computers and medical devices. Spaces of the HoF are first characterized in terms of communicational performance requirements. In order to fulfil the stringent requirements of future healthcare scenarios, such as enhanced performance, security, safety, privacy, and spectrum usage, we propose a flexible hybrid optical-radio wireless network to provide efficient, high-performance wireless connectivity for the HoF. We introduce the concept of connected HoF exploiting reconfigurable hybrid optical-radio networks. Such a network can be dynamically reconfigured to transmit and receive optical, radio or both signals, depending on the requirements of the application. We envisage that HoF will consist of numerous communication devices and hybrid optical-radio access points to transmit data using radio waves and visible light. Light-based communications exploit the idea of visible light communications (VLC), where solid-state luminaries, white light-emitting diodes (LEDs) provide both room illumination as well as optical wireless communications (OWC). The hybrid radio-optical communication system can be used in principle in every scenario of the HoF. In addition to the hybrid access, we also propose a reconfigurable optical-radio communications wireless body area network (WBAN), extending the conventional WBAN to more generic and highly flexible solution. As the radio spectrum is becoming more and more congested, hybrid wireless network approach is an attractive solution to use the spectrum more efficiently. The concept of HoF aims at enhancing healthcare while using hospital resources efficiently. The enormous surge in novel communication technologies such as internet of things (IoT) sensors and wireless medical communications devices could be undermined by spectral congestion, security, safety and privacy issues of radio networks. The considered solution, combining optical and radio transmission network could increase spectral efficiency, enhancing privacy while reducing patient exposure to radio frequency (RF). Parallel radio-optical communications can enhance reliability and security. We also discuss possible operation scenarios and applications that can be introduced in HoF as well as outline potential challenges.

Cet article convie à une réflexion critique sur la mise en forme et les usages du français dans les films du cinéaste québécois Xavier Dolan, en particulier dans J’ai tué ma mère (2009), Les amours imaginaires (2010) et Laurence Anyways (2012), qui se révèlent des points de repère incontournables dans l’éclosion du cinéma québécois à l’extérieur des frontières nationales. Dans une perspective sociolinguistique, l’auteure tente de préciser les liens entre la langue hybride et les images véhiculées par les films de Dolan, qui ont la particularité de rejoindre à la fois le public de la grande francophonie et le public anglophone de l’Amérique du Nord. En tant que société de plus en plus en communication avec les communautés extérieures, le Québec se transforme, si bien que ses frontières linguistiques et territoriales ne semblent plus constituer un obstacle pour le cinéaste émergent. Les films et le discours de ce dernier se construisent davantage sur la diversité et l’universel et paraissent ainsi en rupture avec le discours langue/nation/culture de plusieurs de ses prédécesseurs. À la lumière de la grille d’analyse proposée par Christian Poirier dans ses recherches sur le cinéma québécois, l’auteure s’interroge sur les limites et la portée de ses modalités discursives cinématographiques ouvrant des perspectives entre le Même et l’Autre. Cette analyse s’insère dans une recherche plus large sur la culture et les pratiques artistiques au Québec dans le but de trouver les références et les stratégies à partir desquelles elles se renouvellent.

La prédominance de l'interprétation consécutive à base de notes, développée et utilisée par la première génération d'interprètes de la Ligue des Nations en vue des longs discours prononcés à la tribune a été cruciale pour la professionalistion de l'interprétariat au 20e siècle. Cependant, ce mode a perdu sa prédominance face à l'interprétation simultanée assistée par la technologie. Suite à l'essort d'appareils d'enregistrement numérique au format de poche, la technique classique de l'interprétation consécutive doit peut être faire face à son plus grand défi. En effet, la combinaison entre la mémoire de l'interprète et ses notes est remplacée par un fichier audio qui sert de base à une interprétation simultanée rendue une fois que l'intervention source a été rendue. Lancé par l'interprète du SCIC, Michèle Ferrari en 2001, cette innovation technologique soulève un certain nombre de questions pour les practiciens et les chercheurs. Certaines questions ont été traitées à l'occasion de test initiaux. L'étude décrit ce nouveau mode hybride d'interprétation au vu de sa conception et des répercussion au niveau de la communication. De plus, l'article présente un projet de recherche de faible envergure conçu pour évaluer l'efficacité de cette technique. Sont également décrit l'équipement utilisé ainsi que le retour d'informaton de la part des interprètes professionnels ayant testé cette technique. Au vu des résultats de travaux sur le terrain menés à Bruxelles, cette étude se concentre sur la réception du rendu consécutif (simultané) perçu par le public.

Abstract The present article investigates the concept of naturalness in literary translation. The aim of the investigation is to delineate an integrated approach to 'natural' translation, the essence of which lies in creating a compromise between accurate rendition and literary reproduction. Such a compromise entails attaining an artistic verbal smoothness which transcends the level of ordinary language. To this end, natural translation calls for a utilization of the target language's resources that will make the translation read like an authentic target language (TL) work, while preserving the content intact. The article thus identifies naturalness as the achievement of authentic TL style, and unnaturalness as the hybrid language of literal rendition, i.e. translationese that may be unacceptable or unintelligible. It detects the actualization of an authentic style of Arabic rendition on several levels: lexical, sentential, cohesive and idiomatic. On the lexical level, naturalness is delimited in terms of proper choice of appropriate vocabulary. On the sentential level, well-formedness is posited as the feature of naturalness which outlines a rhetorically natural sentence, besides other concomitant features. On the cohesive level, the features of a natural target text are based on the use of cohesive devices to a greater or lesser degree than the source text in general and on the propriety of their use in particular instances. At the idiomatic level, we mention idioms and proverbs but concentrate, with examples, on collocations. Résumé Cet article examine la notion de naturel dans la traduction des textes littéraires dans le but de cerner une approche intégrée de la traduction 'naturelle' qui consiste essentiellement à obtenir un compromis entre un rendu fidèle et une reproduction littéraire. Ce compromis exige une fluidité verbale artistique qui dépasse le niveau de la langue ordinaire. La traduction naturelle doit donc utiliser toutes les ressources de la langue d'arrivée pour que la traduction se lise comme ouvrage littéraire rédigé dans cette langue d'arrivée, tout en respectant fidèlement le contenu. Dans leur article, les auteurs définissent donc le naturel comme l'obtention d'un style authentique dans la langue d'arrivée, et le manque de naturel comme un langage hybride avec un rendu littéral, c'est-à-dire des traductions susceptibles d'être inacceptables ou incompréhensibles. L'article analyse comment mettre en oeuvre, à différents niveaux, un style authentique en arabe: lexicologie, phraséologie, cohérence et usage d'expressions idiomatiques. En ce qui concerne le niveau lexicologique, le naturel se définit comme étant le choix correct d'un vocabulaire approprié. Au niveau phraséologi-que, des phrases formées correctement sont la caractéristique du naturel qui fait apparaître, à côté d'autres propriétés, la rhétorique naturelle de la phrase. Au niveau de la cohérence, les caractéristiques d'un texte rédigé avec naturel dans la langue cible sont basées sur des mécanismes utilisés plus ou moins intensivement que dans le texte d'origine en général et sur leur utilisation appropriée dans certains cas particuliers. Au niveau des expressions idiomatiques, les auteurs mentionnent de telles expressions ainsi que des proverbes, mais se concentrent, en donnant des exemples, sur des collocations.

We firstly propose a hybrid-Radio-and-Visible-Light-Communication (HR-VLC) system in Inter-Vehicle Communication (IVC) employing Spread-Spectrum (SS) for better ranging and larger capacity. IVC, a key in Intelligent Transport System (ITS), is intended to improve the better safety and more convenient user experience. In the IVC, Radio communications system may not guarantee the precise ranging and large capacity. Thanks to the VLC with a good directionality and ubiquitous LEDs, a HR-VLC will support a reliable and better ranging system for IVC. Furthermore, the utilization of SS helps reduce the interference of ambient light proportionally to the processing gain. In the HR-VLC in IVC system, PPM is used as a modulation scheme due to high average power efficiency. It is verified that the proposed system achieves better BER performance and more precise ranging.

This paper describes the last mile communication system solutions realized in PLC/RF hybrid technology, which is dedicated to Smart Grid communication subsystems, mainly for Smart Metering and Smart Lighting applications. The use of hybrid technology makes the system more efficient and more secure (still being of low cost, in terms of both implementation and operation). This paper proposes a novel parameter, PDR, to describe the performance of the communications in the last mile network. The communications are realized with the use of the narrowband power line communications technique, the low power wireless communications technique, and the combination of them. The cost analysis for the proposed solution is also done. Theoretical considerations, contained in the paper, are the result of the author’s experience in the design, implementation, and operation of the last mile Smart Grid communication systems, realized in the narrowband PLC or 433/868 MHz radio technology. These communication systems were developed for data acquisition and distribution between specific terminals, which are Smart Meters or Smart Lanterns. The aim of this paper is to outline superiorities of the hybrid technology, from which the most important is a low layer protection of the sensitive critical infrastructure, which undoubtedly is a last mile Smart Grid communication network.

Même si certains pensent que c’est une propriété exclusive des pays qui l’ont comme legs ancestral : il s’agit ici de la France. Et que d’autres, à contre-courant, y voient un instrument d’aliénation culturelle des locuteurs francophones des ex-colonies de la France. Pour en finir avec ces débats « stériles » qui détourent les regards sur l’indispensabilité du français en Afrique et dans le monde, Fatou Diome et Léonora Miano démontrent respectivement dans leurs œuvres d’une part, que cette langue est un instrument au service de la construction d’une altérité positive dans l’espace francophone. Et, d’autre part, que c’est un moyen de communication permettant la rencontre des peuples en Afrique subsaharienne francophone. D’un commun accord, elles pensent que le français est « une langue africaine à part entière ».

ABSTRACT It can be argued that the most elementary message behind every commercial advertisement is 'Buy this', or, alternatively, 'Use this'. In consequence, we should perceive all the different adverts devised to promote a given article worldwide as interpretations of this single, basic message. The form given to this message when it was first conceived and devised, i.e. the images, the sounds, and the words that conform the proto-advert, will be subject to various changes or alterations in order to target different markets in the most effective manner. All the different forms under which the original message appears in different cultural and linguistic communities are, therefore, translations. The purpose of this study is to examine the different translation strategies that may be applied in the case of television commercials. The first part deals with television as a medium for advertising. The second part, with the translatability problems that arise in the specific case of a hybrid message of this kind (visual plus acoustic signals), as well as with the different ways in which such problems can be approached and solved. The procedures listed range from the simple literal translation of the text and a repetition of the same images in every case, to the creation of a completely new advert for each of the markets targeted. Finally, we aim at illustrating the effectiveness and/or drawbacks of each of those translation strategies by means of examples that have been extracted from British and Spanish televisions. Issues such as the way in which cultural gaps condition advertisements, and how stereotypical notions about national communities operate as publicity devices will also be explored. The opinions of some of the most prominent experts in international advertising, and those of the bodies that regulate this field of communication will be quoted when relevant. RÉSUMÉ On peut affirmer que le véritable message de toute annonce publicitaire n'est autre que 'achetez ceci', ou, alternativement, 'utilisez ceci'. Par conséquent, toutes les annonces conçues pour promouvoir un article quelconque à l'échelle mondiale doivent être une interprétation de ce message de base. La forme de ce dernier dans sa conception originale, à savoir les images, les soirs et les mots de l'annonce, fera l'objet de modifications ou de changements en vue de cibler le mieux possible les différents marchés, et cela avec une efficacité optimale. Dès lors, les différentes formes que prend le message original dans les différentes communautés culturelles et linguistiques, sont autant de traductions. La présente étude s'efforce d'examiner les différentes stratégies de traduction pouvant être appliquées en matière de spots publicitaires télévisés. La première partie aborde la télévision en tant que support publicitaire; la seconde partie aborde les problèmes de traduction qui se présentent face au cas spécifique d'un message hybride de ce type (signaux visuels + signaux acoustiques), ainsi que les différentes manières d'approcher et de résoudre ces problèmes. Les procédures mentionnées vont de la simple traduction littérale du texte, avec la répétition des mêmes images dans chaque cas, à la création d'une toute nouvelle annonce publicitaire pour chacun des groupes cibles. Enfin, notre but est également d'illustrer l'efficacité ou l'échec de chacune de ces stratégies de traduction, à l'aide d'exemples empruntée aux annonces publicitaires diffusées sur les chaînes de télévision britanniques et espagnoles. The 2018 Italian Parliamentary elections were marked by the success of populist parties. With the consolidation of hybrid media, campaigning on Twitter became an increasingly important communication channel for party leaders. An analysis of Twitter communications from 1 February 2018 to 4 March 2018 (day of the elections) reveals that Matteo Salvini and Matteo Renzi dominated the election campaign in the Twittersphere. Other party leaders did not use Twitter as skilfully as these two politicians and their engagement indicators are lower than those of Salvini and Renzi. The internal communicational dynamic between the party leaders shows that their main target was Matteo Renzi. Even though he had the most followers within this period and, overall, his communication indicators were good, in the end his party suffered a historical loss at the elections.

In this article, based on the ideas of trans-, post- and non-human philosophy, an attempt is made to consider the already partially formed discursive field of posthuman communication studies and the ways in which posthuman communications can be carried out. The article analyzes how modern philosophical theories, media communications and creative digital practices influence the change in human communication. To understand and improve posthuman communications, a number of conceptual mechanisms for their description and research are proposed.

The article examines the communication policy of the Northern Alliance (NATO), the conditions of its formation, the stages of its formation, and the key principles of NATO’s strategic communications system, which is an integral and important component of the internal and external political activities of the defense bloc. The main definitions of the term strategic communications and their components, the concept of hybrid war, etc. are given. It was found that the lack of a comprehensive communication strategy for the coordination of various activities and the formation of messages and narratives during the NATO mission in Afghanistan pushed the Alliance to develop a strategic communication system. Currently, the Alliance is making efforts to comprehensively develop the Organization’s communication policy, increase the level of awareness of the population of NATO member countries regarding the bloc’s values, goals, operations and actions. The article substantiates the influence of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict on NATO’s awareness of the need to fight the manifestations of the hybrid war of the Russian Federation, which it is waging in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, as well as in Central and Eastern Europe. The Alliance recognizes that an effective strategic communications system is extremely important in countering Russian propaganda.

We consider poplar selection systems in connection with their reproduction systems. Poplar is a model object on which it is possible to test all known systems for the selection of woody plants. Positive selection and synthetic selection methods (hybridization, mutagenesis, polyploidy, genetic engineering, biotechnology) effectively “work” on poplar. Poplar is propagated by seed, vegetative and in vitro biotechnology. Amphimixis or seed propagation of poplar is used to create hybrid seed plantations, for example white poplar × aspen. In natural poplar populations, spontaneous hybridization occurs, leading to the emergence of new species. The ability to vegetatively propagate poplar successfully solves the problem of plus breeding: selected best biotypes are propagated by in vitro grafting, cuttings or regenerants, and plantation cultures are created. Synthetic breeding methods: hybridization is widely used on poplar; dozens of poplar hybrids for forest crops and landscaping have been obtained; Induced mutants and polyploids are obtained. Breeders get their first genetically modified forms using genetic engineering. By microcloning, economically valuable individuals are propagated and regenerants are used to create forest crops and landscaping.

The article discusses a large scale transformation of information and communication strategies of for-profit business organizations under the influence of the 4-th industrial revolution, global pandemia of coronavirus, instability in the economic system, rapid transition of business community to online communications, aimed at restoring dialogue with target audiences. The research analyzed basic parameters of the updated business communications model used in PR, advertising, social and event marketing to promote new ideas, products and services at the turn of 2019–2021. The subject of a separate study was the sharply increased influence of marketing on the determination of the basic parameters of the complex of modern communications, caused by the swift adaptation of business plans to new economic realities and social life with the introduction of lockdowns and quarantine measures. We examined structural elements of integrated marketing communications that have undergone the greatest corrections are studied: target audiences, stakeholders, messages, instruments, resources, and communication channels. A separate section is devoted to the specifics of recruiting micro-influencers as an effective communication channel and human resource for for-profit organizations, as well as opening new positions for managers responsible for communicating in social media and creating brand support communities in PR departments. Based on the extensive data of recent years, opinions and forecasts of leading modern Russian and foreign experts from national and international professional communities in the field of business communications, as well as on a personal experience of practical work in Russian PR agencies, the author assesses the strengths of the updated information and communication strategies. He identified problems and shortcomings associated with sharp restriction on offline public events and transition to digital media platforms. In conclusion, the author points out that a reduction in the share of traditional media in the overall balance of communication channels and an increase in priority of new digital media platforms will lead to the formation of a universal hybrid communication model in the post-pandemic period, which will require a new generation of business communicators with practical skills and competencies that conform to new digital market realities.

<p>When the number of outdoor wireless users surges and fixed base stations (BSs) can hardly accommodate high-load communication traffic, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) carrying BSs can provide wireless communication services, and the location deployment of the UAV-mounted BSs directly influences the reliability of network communications. For the target area scenario where the UAVs uniformly cover user nodes, we propose a hybrid intelligent coverage algorithm called PSO-VFA to optimize the coverage of a fixed number of UAV-BSs. The PSO-VFA algorithm consists of two phases employing different intelligent algorithms. First, we adopt a particle swarm optimization (PSO) method for a global search of the coverage areas. Then, for local search, a virtual-repulsive-force-based firefly algorithm (VFA) is proposed in this paper to maximize the user coverage. In the VFA algorithm, the users are treated as the objects attracting the UAVs, and the virtual repulsive force is used for UAV location adjustment. Simulation results show that the proposed PSO-VFA hybrid algorithm has faster convergence and significantly increases the communication coverage of UAV-mounted BSs compared with individual intelligent algorithms such as VFA, PSO, genetic algorithm (GA), and simulated annealing (SA).</p> <p> </p>

Dans la plupart de ses romans, Milan Kundera met en scène un va-et-vient constant entre le territoire tchèque et d’autres pays essentiellement de l’Ouest, à travers les déplacements des personnages. Nous interrogeons ces flux d’im/migration centrifuge ou centripète (parfois ne dépassant pas le stade du simple projet) qui semblent participer à l’élaboration d’une poétique visant à établir un réseau de communication entre le déplacement spatial et le recentrement identitaire. Trois axes paraissent révélateurs du questionnement que l’auteur organise autour de cette problématique : d’abord la question de l’exil et/ou de l’immigration en tant que prétexte à l’évocation du rejet du pays natal et de la fuite des autres ou de soi ; ensuite celle de l’immigration à rebours qui se penche sur la perte et la reconquête de l’espace comme révélateurs de l’identité individuelle ; enfin, celle de la démystification de l’espace commun ou communautaire pour constituer un cheminement vers la réappropriation de soi. Nous partons de ce troisième axe dans une étude centrée sur la question de l’identité dans certains de ses romans.

<p>Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) is the basic hardware of stream cipher, and Feedback with Carry Shift Register (FCSR) is the nonlinear analogues of LFSR. FCSR is a feedback architecture to generate long pseudorandom sequence. In this paper, we study the characteristics of FCSRs combined with nonlinear circuits such as Dawson’s Summation Generator (DSG), lp-Geffe generator and etc. Then we proposed a hybrid FCSR applying DSG and lp-Geffe generator as nonlinear combining elements to increase the period and the linear complexity of the output sequence. In addition, we further investigate the period, linear complexity, randomness, and use known attacks to verify the security strength of the proposed keystream generator. The pass rates of the proposed scheme are 100% for FIPS PUB 140-1 random tests, and at least 98% for SP800-22 random test, respectively.</p> <p> </p>

The article discusses the hallmarks and markers of hybrid discourse in social sciences, media and communication, in education and in politics. Linguistic hybridity was studied in detail by Maria Georgieva in her papers and chapters on globetalk where she provides excellent examples of lexico-semantic and lexico-grammatical mixes. In the age of ‘post-truth’ hybrids are often associated with the instrumental use of disinformation or the ‘weaponisation’ of information. This paper highlights some groups of hybrids from a socio-pragmatic perspective.

The article considers the information-psychological component of the Russian-Ukrainian hybrid war and the resilience of Ukrainian society in relation to external information influences, in particular, informal communications as their component. A brief overview of the most important research in the study of the phenomenon of hybrid warfare and its features in the context of the actions and military thought of the Russian Federation. Examples of the use of informal communications as a tool of the Russian information war against Ukraine are analyzed. The results of the study confirm that the channels of informal communication under certain conditions can be used to inject panic and provoke threatening consequences for national security. The need to increase society’s resilience to this category of hybrid influences is pointed out.

To communicate within disaster scenarios, different devices/systems need to cooperate with specific protocols. The key communication protocol needs to provide interoperability among these systems and provide the solution for emergency services. The paper studies the hybrid network disaster recovery (HNDR) systems and classifies its communication scenarios and requirements. The authors propose a new networking protocol for the hybrid network, with ability to forward sessions and messages through different transport protocols, and copes with node mobility and node failure. The paper considers heterogeneous network disaster recovery scenario and proposes a cost effective and easy to deploy hybrid network emergency communication protocol (HNEC). This internetwork protocol is a specific model of the inter-domain messaging (IDM) protocol for emergency communications. The routing protocol procedure is similar to the reactive AODV procedure but is different in maintaining routes from unpredicted link breaks or node failure. A detailed simulation model with the designed network layer model is used to investigate network delivery rate and end-to-end delay performance. The performance results are analyzed using varying node load, mobility speed, and network size.

In this article, we propose a novel wireless powered communication network, which is composed of two multiple antennas hybrid access points and a series of distributed wireless devices. The two hybrid access points transmit downlink wireless energy to the wireless devices and receive uplink wireless messages from the wireless devices; meanwhile, the information of wireless devices nearer to their corresponding hybrid access point should be transmitted to the faraway hybrid access point. To improve the throughput performance of some wireless devices away from their corresponding hybrid access point, we propose a clustering-collaboration interactive communication protocol with multiple antennas by Time Division Multiple Access, where two of the distributed wireless devices are selected as cluster heads to help relay information of other cluster members, which can efficiently improve some faraway wireless devices’ throughput performance. However, its performance is also constrained by cluster heads’ high-energy consumption. To solve this energy imbalance problem, multi-antenna energy beamforming technology is exploited for the hybrid access points, which distributes more transmission power to the cluster heads to balance all the wireless devices’ energy consumption. In particular, we obtain the proposed system’s throughput performance through the multi-antenna cluster-based collaboration, and verify through simulations that this scheme can effectively enhance user unfairness and improve the throughput performance.

Cucumber is an economically important vegetable crop, which grown in the open field and in various cultivation facilities; at the moment, the range of cucumber hybrids is large, but not all of them sufficiently meet the requirements of the market. The creation of competitive high-yielding hybrids that meet the requirements of the modern market with complex disease resistance for greenhouses, plastic shelters and open ground is the main focus of breeding research on cucumber culture. One of the important areas of breeding work with cucumber culture is the creation of highly productive bee-pollinated hybrids for open ground, temporary shelters and plastic shelters. Preference is given to hybrids of a mixed type of flowering with a high saturation of female flowers, resistant to major diseases and unfavorable growing conditions, with short tuberculate fruits of a universal type of use. As a result of the research, a heterotic hybrid Khrabrets F1 was obtained and included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements approved for use in 2022. Khrabrets F1 an early ripe bee-pollinated hybrid for growing in greenhouses, under temporary shelters and in open ground. The period from germination to the beginning of fruiting is 42-44 days. Fruit is 10-12 cm, cylindrical, medium-tuberous, white-spiked, saturated green color. Hybrid Khrabrets F1 has very good taste. The hybrid has resistant to Cladosporium cucumerinum (Ccu), powdery mildew (Px), and tolerant to pseudoperonospora cubensis (Pcu). A hybrid of universal purpose, intended for fresh consumption, pickling and canning.
